Any advice?Look for a Telcel SIM (mexico) card on Amazon. You can buy them through a 3rd party (not the ideal situation) but works. Then pay as you go. Beware that some of the sellers make you go through them to refill the card so they earn a little more from the sale. I used my Mexico number for WhatsApp etc. And it worked well. You might be able to do the same with one of these global SIM services they sell to travelers. Go on Reddit and find an expat or nomad community and ask the same question.
