Cienga,

I am willing to bet that there will be a pelthea of taxi's waiting outside of the stadium if ot simply hit a street corner and flag one down.

Jim
Much ado over nothing. They had charter coach type buses - comfy A/C climate ready and waiting to shuttle from the fire house area to the stadium and back for $10US. After the event (midnite), there was a slew of city buses waiting as well.

Seems the further from El Centro one goes, the thinner the chicas get...

Man, that place had a nice supply of "normal sized" pretty girls in attendance.

Loryed raised its rate from $30 to $40 (400 pesos)/hr as of October 1st.

Does anyone know the places that are still $30 (though not for long, I'll bet)?

When I first found Loryed they were $25, then went to $30, shit $40, and they never really have a decent selection, won't get my business, unless their quality also goes way up too.

Loryed is the most convenient MP for me, and at $30 a pop it was worthwhile to go have my balls drained once a week, regardless of the selection. I came to look on it as maintenance, kind of like having your oil changed. If there are any decent $30 places left, though, it might be worth going a bit further afield.

I have been in there when it was at $25 and the selection was not bad.
But since then it has gone way down, now at $40, if that is really true, I will still go in, but rapidly exit if the selection is not to my liking.

Yikes! Even Loryed??? The remaining mps that still charge $30 are to my knowledge: Genesis, Encanto, Mercedes, Marilyn, Felina, Corpus, and Michelle. I can't verify any of these as I haven't been to any of them in a long while. Are these correct? Am I missing any? As was once mentioned here awhile back, please support your cheap mps and give your extra savings to the chica if she does you right!

A few months back Corpus reopened under new management with a price of 400 M.N. ($40). They had a pretty good lineup at that time, but had gone downhill last time I checked.
There's a new place on Blvd Oscar Flores, on the southbound side just before you get to Zaragoza. I can't recall the name right now, but it's conveniently located next to a bar. They have an ad in the PM paper. I was quoted $25 for 40 min. Chunky chicks, but no real beasts. A couple were kind of cute.
Like you say, a good chica in a cheap place will make more off me than one in a pricier place.

Have you taken up mongering full time at the tender age of 32?? If so, you are my new idol. Hell, Nicaragua will always be there waiting for you in case you want to come back. Go for it.
Delay the trip and stay with her for a couple of weeks, hotel style. Make sure she brings you a lot of common sense. I walked out the door with my bags-in-hand as she watched me hail a taxi. Plans were in motion and it would have been foolish to stay for 1-piece of ass!

So I arrived in Cd. Panama to visit the Panama Canal and catch my Copa Air flight to Cali, Colombia, but within 10-minutes I fell-in-love with Cd. Panama. The amount of ass here is great. Every pro is from Colombia or the Dominican Republic and they are professional about getting your money. I mongered hard for the first 4 days and blew US $1, 000.

They quote stupid prices like US $10 for 15 minutes: What's that? Nonetheless, there is a buffet of ass that responds when you talk to them on the street, at the bus stop, inside the club, all over the place. Caution: 500, 000 tourists plus visit this place so watch our for the "Tourist Trap. "

Thanks for the advice fellas'. I rented an apartment in Cd. Panama and moved-in yesterday. Let the mongering commence.

No shit.

I have tried to explain to girls that raising prices cuts down on business, but their reply has been then I don't need as much business. Many guys, including myself, often will not pay $100 plus room fee, but will gladly pay $80 plus room.
I have seen, in Nuevo Laredo, the $100 girls sit without a single client all night, while the $80 girls get, at least, 1 or 2 almost every night.

0 x $100 = $0
So maybe she gets 1 client
1 x $100 = $100
2 x $80 = $160
$160 > $100
Which is beyond their comprehension I guess.

It's like an old bar manager I knew in Las Vegas. Business would slow down so he would jack the prices so the EOM ledger looked normal. Only problem - he didn't count on a further loss of volume after more people said "Forget you and your insane prices!" and drank across the street for 1/2 price.

I did not study economics, but it don't take a rocket scientist to figure when business is down you lower prices to keep customers, when business booms you can set your price higher and still have plenty customers that will pay it.

It is flat saddening to see many girls sitting on their butt and complain "no business" and then watch others make several room trips.

Oh - I didn't know about that place, only that Amazona's that I 'reviewed' a week or so ago.

As far as I know, they've been trying to put that regulation in place since Fox came into office. I guess even before that but I know it's at least a decade long attempt. They get what - one 6 year term? Unless the gaming is a state-by-state thing - like in the U.S. of A.

I've read about other states allegedly having their 'casinos' falling violently to the Zetas.

Part of the current El Centro tear-down was originally based on that "The casinos are coming! The casinos are coming" claim.

There are 3 shuttles that have operated for years: Wild Coyote; Cadillac Jack; and another one. There is a shuttle out of Las Cruces called Aztec. They use to charge $10. The shuttles did have "easy pass, " but that bridge isn't open 24 hours. Other than that they sit on the bridge too.

It's better if you go by yourself and walk across, unless you're going to be in Horizon or Las Cruces and don't want to drive yourself or you have a big rig.

Pink Lady, Colorado, and Club Panama have always had the best quality for what's offered in the "Central. " Searching the forum can provide a tip or two about cabbing to Pink Lady or, more specifically, a store/business in the area and avoiding the inherent taxi-inflation.

As far as Colorado - being a "trucker's joint" of sorts, it seems one of the first questions from a lot of the girls lately is "Are you a trucker?". On my last visit there, the girl that saddled up next to me at the bar seemed to get roaming eyes (and what appeared to be less interest) after I answered her with a "No". Roaming eyes - as in lining up the next one after her obvious assumption that the chica drinks would soon stop - which they did due to her roaming eyes. A catch-22, IMHO.

Take it for what it's worth but there may be a strategy to be found in that.

Alright alright,

I had an itch that a local just couldn't scratch for me. Decided to try out the zaragoza bridge. Drove over around 2, traffic looked a little bad but once your thru the bridge, you know it doesn't really matter. Went to Steph's, three girls working, one in the room already, one bleached blonde, about a 7 and Aileen, about a 7 as well. Boys I like a thick body, don't mean fat, just thick you know. She had light brown hair past her shoulders, a great set of chi-chi's and a backside I've been wanting for a long time. The massage not so good, the passion was outstanding, really worked me up big before covering up. Great cbj and some digits, and the cg was great, even stayed on top of me after I blew for a long grinding session until I rang her out. Very good girl. 4 for those who didn't know.

Oh yeah, line was exactly 40 mins long and flowed real smooth, I'll go back soon.

Pink lady gets really good Friday and Saturday night. You can always find a Taxi there, but I still recommend walking. The easiest route is down Juarez avenue, turn right and take the road to the south of the Cathedral (Vicente Guerro); between the cathedral and the rebuilt mercado Chuatemoc. Walk just two blocks past the cathedral and start looking for the S-mart sign to your left. Turn on Altamirano and walk right past the S-mart a few blocks and you can see the pink lady red arrow sign.

Try it now that its cool. Brisk walk and you get a much cheaper deal with the girl since she doesnt have to pay off your cab driver as well as the house. I guess I'm a cheap bastard.

Its $100-$120 if you go in a taxi and $60-$80 if you don't. I've seen some truckers go to the room for $40 for a quick pop but that was a while ago.

I watch the other gringos after they have sat with the girl for while and many take the frist price offered. Bargain with them! They expect it and kind of like it I think.

Usually group #2 wait in the parking lot for guys to approach. These girls usually just need some money for the family which makes it a good deal for you mongers. Located across the street are hotels, but choose your own and not one recommended by the girl for fear of the "set-up" and your security.

After Palamides talked up the Friday & Saturday action at the Pink Lady, I made myself get off the couch & walked over the bridge tonite. Walked down Juarez Ave a few blocks & cut over to Mariscal & walked South 5 or 6 blocks & then doubled back. I thought a good number of the SWs were f'n HOT. There was also some fairly hot chicks (AND some tubbies) hanging out in front of & in the lobby of a hotel with a big white sign that just said "Hotel" in black letters (on the left heading South). I then walked back over to Juarez Ave for a cab ride to the Pink Lady, having the guy drive me by the Colorado & the Panama clubs on the way--I'm not so sure about getting THAT far off the main drag after dark.

I got to the PL about 11:00pm & found it maybe 3/4 full with more chicks than guys. I thought 2 of the chicks were really hot & easily top contenders vs. The best from all of the pics posted here & they seemed fairly accessible for guys who were on their toes (and DON'T just take the also-ran that they try to hook you up with when you first walk in the door!.-DUH! ). I hooked up with one of the 2 hot ones who called herself Roxanna (latina with slight asian or native american look, supermodeley bod, pse. No BBBJ)

The cab driver who brought me was waiting out front after I was through meeting Roxanna.

Depending on which way you go to Colorado, it can be an eyebrow raiser at nite but just heading west past the gym from Ano Nuevo on Mariscal will get you there in 2 blocks. That's the "cleanest" way I know to do it. Any other paths can be a bit intimidating (IMHO) after dark.

And don't forget, fellow mongers - Juarez is giving us a whole week of 1 extra hour on your time pieces. Thanks, Cienega!--I'll look for the gym next time & see if I can talk myself into it...

Buddy, it's on the corner of the Zaragoza bridge street and the first really major intersection. It's a circular building and thus the parking lot is circular. It's about 3 minutes from the bridge check point. Located on the northeast side of the street corner. This is the only circular building I know of near the Zaragoza bridge, corner with Ramon Rayon IIRC. Is this the one you refer to?

I know one bad review was posted on this girl by Coyote; had to do with a busted condom and her refusal to let him use another. But she looked really cute in the lineup, and based on other good reviews, had to give her a try. Price is still 300p at Genesis.

Petite, dyed blonde hair, muscular body, built like a gymnast. If you have any leftover Nadia or Mary Lou fantasies, she's what you need to fullfill them. I asked her if she worked out, she said no. Took me a while to notice in the low light of the cuarto, but she has pretty green eyes. Told her so, tossed her a few more verbal flowers, she chatted away as she gave me a decent massage.

She told me she works 9am to 5pm (banker's hours as she put it) every day but Saturday. I didn't know any of the MPs opened that early??? She also told me a new place was going to open nearby. Will have a bar downstairs, rooms upstairs. I was going to ask her about the condom policy, thinking maybe it was an establishment rule she didn't want to run afoul of, but I dropped the ball and forgot to ask.

After the masaje, moved on to a nice CBJ, then she backed up against me while I massaged her perky little A cups, nibbling and nuzzling on her neck and cheeks. She then hopped on the table with me so I could try to get her chi-chis to grow via oral inducement. Didn't work, but they were so nice to suck on. She then hopped on for some CG. WoWzer, Senor Ocho was in a tight grip! I asked if she had any kids, she said no.

She got me nice and worked up till I reached the point where I had no choice but to bend her over for a thorough pounding in my favorite position, doggie. No titty bouncing with this girl, boobs too small and too perky. But the view from behind was excellent, that tight grip attempted to wring me out with every stroke. And she never tried to push me back to protect herself like some girls do, surprising since she's such a petite girl. I just had at it till I couldn't hold back any more and uncorked with great relief. She sat up and backed up against me so I could nuzzle some more and massage the chiquitas. Damn did she feel good!

All in all a very good experience with a cute, sweet, tight girl.

When one enters Mexico via the Zaragoza bridge, the first key intersection is where the Campo Motel is on the left side of the street, keep driving, and the Rapiditos Bip-Bip is on the left as one exits the intersection. The next key intersection has Valentinos (Mugroso says now called Jokers Gold), also on the left side of the street, close to this intersection there is a stop light. Turn right at the light and one sees Cal TV on the right and heads to Juarez.

So, is this intersection where the circular building is the one where the Campo Motel is, followed by the Rapididos just after the intersection, or is it the intersection where the stop light is just after Valentinos/Jokers Gold and Cal TV sits on the right as one turns at the stop light to drive to Juarez?

I looked at the map and it was confusing for me as maps are not my specialty.

Has anyone ever just walked up to a Juarez taxi & said sumthin' like "I want a ride to the Pink Lady (or other venue destinations) but I don't want you to call them on the way or come in with me or arrange for a cut for yourself in any way whatsoever." ?

Has it or could it work?

And is it be to complicated a concept for a non-Spanish speaking monger to get across to a broken-English speaking taxi driver?

I mean, hey, I don't begrudge them for getting a cut from a monger who THEY turned on to this or that attraction, but every time that I pay their cut, I'm kinda screwing around the guys HERE who were the ones that turned ME onto it.

Meat Loaf, my question is that as one enters Mexico via the Zaragoza bridge, is this circular building located at:

1- The intersection where the cars can begin to start lining up to go to El Paso, where the (Campo) Motel is, and close by is a Rapiditos Bip-Bip, etc. , but there is no stop light.

2- Or, is it a bit further down the street, close to where Valentinos (now Jokers Gold) was/is located and a stop light follows at a busy intersection? At this busy intersection, there is a Cal TV, a Pemex station, etc.

Quarterback, I have mongered in Mexico for almost 30 years and I can tell you three things about your taxi driver question: When in Mexico, we are not in our own backyard, and the taxi business is a big business and these drivers have "cut a deal" with the Pink Lady to get a cut of the pie if they transport you there and wait for you to bring you back. Third, you can also walk to the Pink Lady if you wish, I have a friend who does it regularly, but he also has been stopped and frisked by the fine bicycle cops of Juarez. Last time they relieved him of $45. So we can take our choices, pay the taxi driver and more money at the bar, or take a risk and walk it whereby you may make it OK or you may be bothered by cops.

Thanks,

Meat Loaf,

Thanks for posting. I will simply look for the circular building and ask questions to locate it.

Normally with these bicycle police, what happens is they work in pairs. With your hands up against a wall one cop will ask you a series of questions to distract what the other cop is doing, frisking you and going through your wallet. The second cop is the one who relieves you of your money without saying a word and when they let you go, if they do, you discover how much money is missing. If this happens you can report this to the police station if you have a badge number, bicycle and or van number, on a street called Oro, close to the 16th of september st. Only go if you are certain of a means to identify the cops (numbers, etc.), and if your Spanish is not good, take along a bilingual, preferably Mexican citizen with you to translate. The last two times I was frisked, I was not robbed, but I was totally sober and I can understand what these cops are saying to each other.

Quarterback, I am guessing, but my hunch is that yes, you can get a taxi driver to agree to take you to the Pink Lady and simply leave and the driver may leave as agreed. Chances are he won't like it, and though he may agree to do it, he still might "follow you inside" a couple of minutes later and that's when the bartender asks you if you want to buy your driver a drink, etc. Some guys have these drivers drop them off at an SMart supermarket nearby and they walk to the bar from there, but these drivers are wise to this as well. For me, this is all speculation as this is what my friends who go to the Pink Lady tell me and what I read on this post. I still have success downtown, so don't go to the PL myself very often.

Thanks.

Fat chance. The taxi and van service cocaroaches will not pass on their commission. Really the only way to go is to drive there yourself. Sure, take a cab but don't get a chica. Just make a mental note and go their yourself in your own car.

I have been doing this for years and there is no reason why you can't do it yourself.

MugrosoThere are many different avenues to places in juarez. Walking the bridge and hiking, taking the city bus, taking taxi. Quarterback's question is similar to the one I've always had about SW at pink lady or wherever, "why don't they sit with me and have a drink even if there is nonone in the bar. "

Answer just like the cabbies is they are there to make money as much money as they can in the time they have. I don't really blame them.

Generally if you are not doing anything wrong or making a spectacle of yourself you are in no danger over there. The one time I was stopped and searched by the police on Mariscal Street I had previously read posts on this site of it happening so its not like it was a total suprise. Always good to go with a friend. I recommend parking and walking over, hanging out, grabbing a taco or a hot dog, get a beer. Take a bus. Between mapsco, mapquest and the wikimapia link you can find most places. I don't consider myself a monger but I will add in a pink lady visit or stop by a mesaje if they cross my path. Make it fun.

But, I'd look dead in the cops face and tell them "you ain't gettin' shit from me Compa'! " When the police wave you down to pull over for a ticket, I keep driving. They can chase me. I also interview the police before they start with the above hustle you mentioned while I'm dialing my voice mail via cell phone and reporting their badge numbers, car id, and other identifiers in front of their face, 100% in Spanish.

I hate police states, especially the worse in the world0 El Paso, Texas. Talk about too much law enforcement.

An interesting trend that I've experienced as of late is the "We good guys, right?" approach.

I was stopped Saturday on my way back to Caliente around 4PM by 2 bikes that seemed to be bored. It was mid-way between Mariscal and Ave Juarez. A handshake from them both before anything and handshakes and apologies for "bothering me" after the fact. This was the first time I didn't empty my pockets. I had my cam and a jacket in my hand and that was all they looked at. And my wallet, of course, which doesn't hold money. Another new aspect is being asked if I work. That's always answered with a depressed expression and a slow "Nooo".

Overall, I must be doing something right as I've never had any funds disappear and over the last year or so it seems I always get stopped now. One night I was stopped three times.

As far as being stopped, it seems that if you come across them while they're finishing up on someone else, you're sure to be next. I walk with purpose and when I see them I try to avoid them, if possible, without throwing a red flag. By that I mean if they're coming toward you and both know you see each other, changing your path usually gets a visit while not "noticing" them is 50-50.

That doesn't work 'cause of the scramblers. Hell, down in Laredo, you can't even use a USA phone on the USA-side of their downtown.

Telcel is for sale in Cd. Juarez, no El Chuco. Next time you're in CJ, go to the store. They are located all over town and even set-up stands at the stop lights. Telmex and Telcel own the market which is why the owner, Carlos Slim, is the richest man in the world. Yes, a Mexican is the richest man in the world!

I can't remember if they have english-based activation, but should 'cause it's a motorola phone and they're made for the entire world and their languages, so it should have English-based menus.

In my opinion Movistar is a lot cheaper than Telcel and they work just as well. The best way is probably go on ebay and get yourself a unlocked GSM cell phone. Many of them cost well under 100 dollars, even at Motorola RAZR v3 costs only about 80/90 bucks on ebay (comparing to getting one in Mexico where cell phones are a lot more expensive). Once you get your unlocked cell phone, you can go into CJ and get a SIM card of your choice: Telcel o Movistar and use it as a local mexican cell phone.

Easy version: Go to any store and buy the "T-Mobile Amigo Kit." It comes with a basic cell phone of two styles, about 1-hour of airtime, and a Cd. Juarez phone number for US $40. Simple and basic.

Stores and company sponsored street stands sell them all over the place.

We're you trying to use the phone within Mexico? If so, Carlos Slim, the owner of Telmex and Telcel has scramblers along the border to prevent such a thing. Buy a Telcel prepaid phone for US $40. If you were on the USA side it should have worked if you dialed the Cd. Juarez number and international code properly.

IMHO, the lowdown for the time being is that if that if you go to the PL on a weekend night, you can hold out for a chick in league with the hottest chicks' pics posted here and/or you can ask for them by name: Roxanna, Ruby, Gabby.

If you go for Roxanna, you have a reasonable expectation of a safety girl's version of pse. Alternatively, you can go to (or call?) the Colorado iso BeBe.The Colorado's contender "BeBe" is actually named something more like "Evie" or "Eabie"--they DO have a chick named "BeBe", but she is an also-ran. I'd also tweak my categorization of "Gabby" (aka "Gabriella") from contender to 2nd-string contender. "Ruby" may or may not actually go by Ruby, but just something that sounds sort of like that.

Yes it is (Fran Villa) and I think it's also targeted in the beautification plan but more so for bullring parking. I think I remember reading that in the news awhile back.

There seems to have been 1 or 2 or 3 buildings razed in the last year and like you said chicas=yes/chicas=no. When I first went to Juarez a "few years back", that area had a ton of them but I felt it wasn't too good of an area.

Of course, in retrospect, it wasn't any worse than the gym area was which isn't that bad.

Heck, most locals refer to Fco. Villa as "Ferrocarril" because of the tracks. And when is the "new old Bullring" going to start publishing a schedule?? plazamonumental.com still only has the TJ schedule since the demise of the bullring on P.T. de la Republica.

And my old Cingular "dual band" phone worked like a champ all over CJ except a few dead spots downtown, and I NEVER received any sort of roaming charges or anything. I may bring it along my next trip, I doesn't work here anymore, but it might work there, we will have to try it and see. Although for making calls TO Mexican phone numbers, one would think just buying a prepaid cell phone is the best bet.

Speaking of "not working here anymore" what are the Mexican TV stations going to do when all the US stations are forced to start broadcasting a digital signal?? Are they going digital too, or are they going to continue to broadcast and analog signal. I have already decided I am not going to be bullied into buying all new TVs and shit, I will stop watching it altogether first. Mostly I just watch DVDs these days anyway, most of the programming on TV being garbage and all.

A few years back, I had an Alltel phone. It would work as far as I had tested it around Km. 20 as long as I had the phone set to Analog only. I was actually making local calls on the Telcel system.

When I was ready to use the El Paso system, I just switched it back to digital only.

Of course, this was probably just a hiccup between the systems and I am sure that someone has repaired this glitch by now. Mexico more than likely now has an all digital system.

Well today is your lucky day. I have been doing extensive research on the subject.

I have read that viewers (such as yourself) will be issued vouchers to buy a converter for your old TV set to recieve the new HD signals. Analog signals will stop broadcasting in Feb 2009. What is the rest of the world (and Mexico) going to do? I don't know and have not been able to find out when other countries will upgrade. What I do know current analog systems of broadcast, NTSC, PAL, SECAM, will not become uniform in the digital age. Different countries will have different digital signals. 1080, 720 and the letters e, i, and p that will go on the tail end of the numbers.

Then there is what type of set you will want, LCD, DLP, Plasma, wall mounts, ceiling mounts, cables, bulb replacements. Crap, time is running out.

Just want a little advice. Guy on the East Coast here, and thinking of making a trip South of the Border for some adult entertainment. I thought I read on this board a while ago, about Mexico cleaning up Juarez up a little, so thought I would post to see if that is, in fact, the case. Last time in Juarez was April of '06, so has it changed that much since then?

Checked flights to El Paso and to San Jose, CR, and to San Jose was about double the price. For people that have been to both cities, would it be worth the extra money and just skip Jaurez and going to San Jose? I can only get away for a long weekend (Fri to Sun), so it would be for just a couple nights.

Anyway, just trying to get the best bang for the buck!

Thanks in advance!

That "radionet1490" site that WSG relisted was the one I posted for the bridge-cam views. One of the local Juarez TV channels (I forget which but available at Villa Manport) also sequences thru various bridge cams as well.

Anybody find a website for that rotating camera high above Ave Juarez, a few blocks in, or is that one strictly "Hermano Grande"?

Willis67Willis, I think that it depends on what is in your budget and what your personal taste are. At double the plane cost and the top shelf girls in Costa Rica(the del rey hotel chicas) wanting $100 per hr i would say skip CR and head to Mexico.(Of course chicas can be had in CR at some of the massage places that ticos Frequent for about $10).

IMHO I would say if possible and to get the best bang for your buck skip J-town competely and head to Tijuana. Top shelf chicas are about $60 at the 2 preimer clubs(even cheaper just around the corner at say Hong Kong's and the host of places on that street). Women are better looking in general and a bit more personal than the chicas in J-town.

Willis67There is no comparison between Juarez and Costa Rica! Jaurez is okay if you live close to the border or don't have access to the real Latin America, but not for the situation you described for yourself. Juarez is not worth the effort!

Costa Rica is totally better than Juarez. All the hookers are from Nicaragua and Colombia. Typical price is $40. $100. Costa Rica has become grossly Americanized.

If you want bang-for-the-buck then you need to check out Nicaragua. In my opinion, Nicaragua is way better than Costa Rica and cheaper. All the Nicaraguan hookers are from Nicaragua. Typical price is $8. $27.

Panama is a good option as well. Panama is way better than Costa Rica and Panama has night life until 8a. M. All the hookers are from Colombia and Dominican Republic. Typical price is $40. $100. Panama is an international city with lots of fun.

The above prices are for 1-hour.

Don't waste your time in Juarez.

Willis67I grew up on the Texas border and kept going back to places like Juarez, Laredo and Matamoros for chubby, overpriced women with an attitude. Then I went to South America and saw the error of my ways.

As long as you find a reasonable airfare ($600-$700) out of the East Coast to places like Medellin, Colombia, it'll be much more worth your while. The women are younger, more fit and customer-friendly. Check the Colombia board for details.

Sure some countries sound great for our lifestyle, but I got no problems being less than 20 mins away from a great time. It's different for vistors, knowing the ropes, where to go, directions and all that bs. But if you are local which I am, I'm happy to live in a city where I have many UTR's to call, close SC's that cater to me and a huge world of sex just 20 mins away across a bridge. I don't mind drving at all, never been hassled at all during the day, it's just too easy and I don't drive a POS, I drive a pretty badass ride that I put some money into. For you locals that are nervous about driving during the day, don't be, it's not a big deal, I used to cross all the time just for the good food and the mercado and still have yet to find any trouble.

I'm sure Costa Rica and Colombia are great, if you feel like spending a lot of dough just for a plane ticket and a hotel, I'd rather monger close to home where I no there's no problems and there's no way for me to get in trouble or for the biggest reason, I can spend as little as $30 on a really good time with a good looking chica. And that's another thing, (sorry), sure I've spent $$$ on girls on this side of the border with fantistic bodies and great abilities, but I'm a man of variety, I'd rather have 8-10 girls in two weeks than one for one hour.

Problem is its 5 dollars for a beer and 10 dollars for a beer for the girl, so you can run trough your money really fast. You can take them private for a dance but they don't do much. My recommendation would be to go in have a beer or not and scope out a girl you like, take her to the room they have or pay exit fee and take her out of the club. No info on pricing. But when we have talked to girls before they have agreed to between 60 and 100 with a little bargaining.

Alternatively if you want a spot to have a few beers and check out some young talent go by there. However, for what they charge it is much better to go to either of the Jokers locations or the Amadeus strip clubs. Much higher quality girls for table dances. If you want to take the Amadeus or Joker girls to the room you have to pay the bar fine and come up with $$+

I don't agree with that. He is coming from east coast, that's a long flight to just hit Juarez. Especially if flights to TJ are cheaper.

I agree that Juarez is a good destination, shit I lived in Albuquerque for 40+ years, made dozens of Juarez visits, if you live close it's great.
However, for a long distance flight, I was only suggesting alternative places.

If I lived equal distance from Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, TJ or Cuidad Acuña, I would hit Nuevo Laredo tomorrow, and Reynosa next weekend. But that's just me, everyone has personal reasons and favorites.

i had mongered in tj for more than 6 years and almost a year in juarez. i have also mongered all over mexico and other continents in the world... but here is what i see, anyone cares to add to the comparsion:

prices:

juarez:
$30-60/hr at mps depending on which one you go to. cheaper with sws
tj:
prices: $40-60 for half an hour at the bars depending on day/time/which bar and your bargaining skill, plus hotel room (about $13 half an hour)

locations:

juarez:
rep001tered all over the city (as in most mexican cities)

tj:
centralized. most bars are along coahuila (a street name) and the callejon (alley, where the sgs are).

quality:

juarez:
girls are anywhere from 2-8 (note that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder). from what i have seen, there are very few that are over 8...

tj:
girls are anywhere from 2-9 as well but there are a lot more higher tier girls.... go to adelitas/chicago and you'll see.

services (this could be subjective):

juarez:
girls are friendlier, more into sex rather than mechanical sex. more likely to score gfe especially if you speak spanish.

tj:
more mechanical, standard service. gef is easier to find in smaller bars such as las chavelas, la tropa, tropical but you have to be well-versed in spanish..

traffic:

juarez:
traffic is very light at night... even at the worst the wait is usually an hour to an hour and a half.

tj:
heavy traffic crossing the border all the time... minimum an hour wait... sometimes 2 or 3 hours during holidays.

safety:
juarez:
relatively safe with ocassional hassles from the cops

tj:
relatively safe but the cops are notoriously for stopping and searching tourists and in many cases... the cops robs the tourists' money.

I'm planning a trip to Juarez for next Monday. I just wanted to ask the other members of the forum what is the best MP to hit up as far as quality of women, money is not a restriction. Also, I wanted to know if Pink Ladies was open during the day and what is the going rate if you drive yourself over as opposed to the cabbies taking you? Thanks again to everyone in advance.

Most MPs are hit or miss, one can be great one day and not so good the next.
Genesis is usually my first stop.

I think PL opens at 11:00am, not positive but I believe they do. Going rate depends on the girl and your negotiating ability. Less than if you go w/o cabbie in tow. Expect to pay $60 and up.

Thanks WS6 and Cienega 32 for the info on the espanol website on these wait times. Every bit helps.

BTW, the wait times on the downtown bridge may be OK for a few days, but not for long. When the rest of Juarez wakes up, and the northbound tourists from the interior arrive for the holidays, the downtown bridge will have its normal, long, painful waits.

Finally, if any of you local mongers have ever investigated or wondered about the "DCL," Dedicated Commuter Lanes for faster bridge times back to the U.S., don't. After one gets a PortPass, and to get that one needs a life without one blemish or black mark, Mexico will require over $300 per car to use its side of the bridge. The current goal of the DCL is to get as many people OFF its lanes as possible, regardless of what recent newspaper articles say. The inspectors are far more rigid with people who use the DCL and will remove you for any little thing, like an apple, you forget your insurance papers, your registration expires, etc. It's hardly worth the hassle.

I had mongered in TJ for more than 6 years and almost a year in Juarez. I have also mongered all over Mexico and other continents in the world... but here is what I see, anyone cares to add to the comparsion:100% agreement about the service. Much more a 'friendlier' attitude in Juarez and less of a zombied look in their eyes as well.

As far as Policia - they seem to be stopping more and more as of late but with the new Mayor, it seems they try to impress a "We're good guys" attitude during the stop. Maybe it just me but that's how it felt lately. In TJ, it always felt like the Cartels were a bit more entrenched.

The traffic... "our" Zona in El Centro is right by the bridge and it's not a risky adventure to walk over or back to the U.S. parking lot, compared to TJ - IMHO. As far as driving - http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=32.541152&lon=-117.028266&z=17&l=0&m=a&v=2

For kicks scan it south to the traffic circle and look NW and SE. That's pretty bad when it jams down Ave Heros.

Thanks for the info everyone. Sounds like I should stay away from Juarez. Flights to San Diego are cheaper anyway, but I just assumed that Juarez would be cheaper that Tijuanna (sp? ).

But, I might try to just spend a little more, and header further south!Willis67, given your location you might also consider flying to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (POP is the airport code) and taking a taxi about 5 miles to the town of Sosua http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?t=2227.

Year-round warm temps, a nice beach, open-air bars and restaurants, a couple of discos, plenty of available chicas starting around $30/Hr...

The Colorado's contender "BeBe" is actually named something more like "Evie" or "Eabie"--they DO have a chick named "BeBe", but she is an also-ran. I'd also tweak my categorization of "Gabby" (aka "Gabriella") from contender to 2nd-string contender. "Ruby" may or may not actually go by Ruby, but just something that sounds sort of like that.
Stopped into both the Pink Lady & the Colorado over the weekend. No sign of PL's contender "Ruby" (I heard she is a Saturday & Sunday-nighter only & was either awol or hella-late on Saturday). Colorado's "Evie" is actually "Ivy" (pronounced "Eevee") & won't be back for a few weeks. PL's Roxanna & Gabby are both still around.I hear "Ruby" doesn't do bj, just lays there, & gets $100/hr for walk-in customers.

I met "Ivy"...me like!...$80/hr for walk-ins...authentic & enthusiastic gfe-ish (but I dunno re the kissing nor the daty).

In TJ, it always felt like the Cartels were a bit more entrenched. It only gets worse at this time of year as the police, federales, etcetera start stealing from Mexicans and Americans crossing the bridge with or without gifts.

The stand waiting at the border line, literally. They inspect as many cars as possible. Everyone knows they may get ripped off from the police from now until Christmas, including the Mexicans.

Can I join you on your next Juarez visit?

You do need a permit for your car and immigration papers for yourself, provided you are an American citizen.

Immigration papers can be obtained easily at the Migracion office on the Mexican side of the downtown bridge (Stanton St.) or at the Mexican consulate. The tourist visa is valid for 6 months and you have to pay for it at a bank ($270 pesos) before it expires. It should be turned in at or before the date of expiration at any border crossing.

The car papers require a little more time and effort to process. Bring car, car title, drivers license and a credit card (MC or Visa) to Kilometro 30 on the highway leading south to Chihuahua, just about ten miles south of the city. They will issue you the permit and place a sticker in your windshield. I think they charge you about $150 pesos for the whole job. The car must be checked out of Mexico before the six months ends by returning to the same place or to another border crossing. Be sure to do this or else you will have a record on the computer which could cause you grave headaches in the future.

Another concern is insurance. Your American insurance will not cover you in the interior of Mexico. You will probably want to buy enough Mexican insurance to cover your trip, at the very least liability.

Sounds complicated? Unless you really think you need your car there, you might want to consider traveling by bus or plane. Public transportation in Mexico is good and can get you to almost anywhere you want to be.

Have fun on your trip and report back on any discoveries.

If the car is financed, you will need a letter from the finance company authorizing you to take it to the interior of Mexico.
Without a credit card, you will need to post a cash bond to take the car inside.

I have driven to Chihuahua about 30 times, it's not a bad trip. The toll roads are sort of expensive, but much better maintained and safer than the free roads.
My first trips to Chihuahua, the toll roads were not yet built, and that free road is something else. My last trip was 1998, so things prolly about the same, maybe better by now.

I will be in El Paso for business next week, and would like to enjoy CJ again, so I need the support of the group. I was there earlier in the year. I fell for the taxi tour and ended up at the Pink Lady. Read my report for the details.

First of all what's left within walking distance of the bridge? I saw so many buildings that were leveled or were being leveled when I was there. I will be there in the early evening on Wednesday, since I have an early flight on Thursday, What does anyone recommend, in the way of dancing girls, with "extras". I am not a big fan of massage places. Recommendation for parking. I won't take the rental car into Mexico. Last time I parked near the bridge, and when I crossed back, I was blocks from my car.

Thanks. I will report on my trip when I get back.

Thanks. I will report on my trip when I get back.Well, I'm no expert, but if you head towards the border on Santa Fe Ave. , there's a lot on the left with a red digital light sign showing rates or something--that one usually has more signs of on-site staff, but anything from there or closer to the border in that block & on that left side of the street is within a 100 yards or so of the footbridge entrance.

The only thing I've found worth paying for close to the bridge is "Ivy" (Pronounced "Eevee"--minimal Espanol recommended) at Club Colorado aka "San Soucii". You can get a taxi to the "S-Mart" & walk the short walk south to the PL--I've done it recently & felt safer than walking on Mariscal or to the Colorado.

The only noteworthy ones razed in El Centro were Rancho, Dia y Noche and Irma's it seems and maybe one or two closed - Virginia's being one. Irma's re-opened at the old Green Lantern site but is worse.

For the parking, I think the best bet is the lot right before (north of) the RR tracks, across the street from the Santa Fe RR building on Santa Fe. $3 for 8 hours and the walk is equal distance to and from. I've never had any problems there. Red LED sign that flashes the rates, date and time - can't miss it.

There's no getting around the long walk back after the inspection stop - it's fenced off almost to the end of the block on both sides now which, after crossing the border exit car lanes, would bring you just about to that lot, if you get my drift.

It's either short going and twice the distance returning or equal both ways. After a nite in Juarez, I prefer the shortest walk back I can get.

On Sat Nov 24 with snow and all, myself and 2 other friends headed to J-town as my friend Perry was in town from Tennessee for the holiday and since he has never been to Mexico and since he was leaving early on Sun we said screw the weather let's go.

Now my other friend Andy does not do the massage places or strip clubs for that matter he actually perfers to pull his victims out the the various bars along J-town Ave like Don Fenix. Looking at some of the women he leaves with I will stick to the massage places.

Andy heads over to Safari and Perry and I head over to a few of the strips clubs none of which was really open, we went by Queens, Panama, San Succi, there was very few chicas and I quickly found out why! It was only about 4:30! So we ahead on over to Safari but on the way we stop at Clepatra's which by the way they are doing some remodeling so you have to enter thru the blue door with the #150 on it and head up the stairs. Only 3 chicas there all very chucky (which can be good sometimes even more so on a cold cold day like Sat was) however my friend so no way! Over to Safari we went.

My friend getting restless was ready to try the stript clubs again and the new massage places I was telling him about Amazona (sp). Now the directions on the board said to walk 2 blocks up the street toward Matascol which we did, my question is do we make a left before the cache of taco stands or a left right after it? We did a left right after it and ended up at Panama's which still was not open. We ended up at Hollywood's because they we're the only one's up and running at that time. We were there for about an hour when in walks 2 cops who sit about 2 tables away from us and they are there for about 30 minutes are so then they leave. We leave about 20 minutes later walking over to Queens and now we can hear music however the guy at the door said that they were still closed. That is when the cops step out and ask the usual questions about durgas and that that other crap. As they pat us down they are of course going thru our pockets and things and my friend has a nice wad of cash (when I say wad gentlemen I am only talking about $200 or so dollars, $100 of which was in small bills) on him which the cop counts and then the other cop steps into my field of vision as cop 1 is handing my friend his cash back.

They leave and we head back and Perry pauses as he counts his cash and says that there is $100 missing as I did saw one in the wad of cash that the cop was counting. To saw that my friend was livid would be and understatement as he has vowed to never return to Mexico and to roll a few illegals back in Tennessee to recoupe his lost cash (which I am sure he was just kiding about. I think)

I have since learned that when that happens and they are going to pat you down and go thru your pockets take your cash out and put it in your hand and allow him to pat you down. Do not allow the cops to handle your cash.

Hollywood, to me, took on a bit of a Cholo-esque feel to it about a year or so ago and there always seems to be Policia around it due to that. I haven't done much more than just a quick walk-thru from one door to the other and that was many months ago.

When I was there over-nite for the Thanksgiving holiday, there must of been 8 or 9 of them (Policia) lining a small bunch up against the wall and a Policia car or two stopping dead in the street to back up and join in. I guess that was about 11pm Thur. It just seems like the joint is more trouble than it's worth, IMHO but I'm still sour from my very first trip to that joint, years ago, when the bartender tried to short-change me like I was a one-eyed old woman.

Eduardo's I usually avoid for a couple of reasons. One being a few fellow mongers talk poorly of them and a rip-off mentality that seems to be present. The other is that "C'mon in sucka! We the best in town" carnival barker crap by the doormen hanging outside that starts when I'm still 1/2 a block away.

All in all a very good experience with a cute, sweet, tight girl.Go see her.

I was at Genesis twice last week, and she was sitting all alone waiting for customers.

and does anyone know about the availability of taxis in that area for a return to the bridge?.-is there any reason to think that the club wouldn't be able or willing to get us a taxi back? what about fares?

I was taken aside by a squad of quasi-paramilitary cops riding in the back of a pickup recently. It was a very busy night for foot-traffic & one of them began walking alongside me & speaking to me & 3-4 more followed suit...I got the impression that their m.o. was to:

1. ask for my ID,
2. ask if I had been drinking,
2. ask if I had drugs on me,
3. to search my pockets

My ID was concealed on my person & so, I had to reveal that I had at least that much on my person than was not in my pockets. You might have thought that would've triggered a more intense search, but it didn't...They were curious WHY I had concealed my ID & also curious re the small amount of Spanish that I was able to speak, but they seemed satisfied with my explanations of concerns re muggers & that I had learned Spanish in "escuela" in a particular nearby U.S. state. They did not seem at all curious re the fact that one of the few items in my pockets was a condom.

One thing to consider is perhaps that you shouldn't carry any more cash IN YOUR POCKETS than you care to lose to the occasional dishonest cop or to a pickpocket or mugger--I did not notice any cash missing, but I purposefully didn't have much cash in my pockets to begin with...

I was not carrying contraband, nor was I drunk, high, nor even rude & was allowed to go on my way after a few minutes. As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, they DID seem fairly sensitive re their rep as thiefs & the one who was the most aggressive & sarcastic seemed to make a point to gladhand me as I was walking away.

For me, I was much more disturbed by my treatment coming back over recently by a particular U.S. border officer who didn't like the looks of my ID & did a computer search on me in a breathless huddle with another officer.

Club 69 is about one mile south of Parque Central on Calle Panamericana. A taxi from downtown Juarez will run you a minimum of 100 pesos. You can be dropped off at the club or at the S Mart about half a mile up the road.

It is a strip club, the drinks run you about 35 pesos and ladies drinks 100 pesos. The ladies are available for takeout or they have a private room for privados where you can also do the deed. Prices for the ladies depend on your negotiating skills but their asking price seems to be around 150 to 200 dollars. I was there over Thanksgiving weekend, there was around 10 ladies and a couple of them were great looking. I did not partake as I feel paying over 100 bucks for sex is way too much.

While you are in the area you might want to go to club Cabaret about 3 miles northwest of Club 69. Head north from Club 69 and turn left on the street that takes you to the Central Camionera. Cabaret will be on your left hand side a little ways before you get to the entrance into the Central Camionera.

Cabaret is a strip club and an after hours club. There was about 9 girls dancing, all available for play with the same pricing as Club 69. Cabaret stays open after all the other clubs close and most of the girls from the other clubs end up here. You might get a better deal here from girls from Club 69 as there will be no bar fine.

I went down to El Paso for Thanksgiving weekend and I must say things are not looking good in Juarez. I went into all the remaining clubs in the zona and this is what I found:

Queens: I went in around 9 and the place was dead. There were no girls the music wasnt even playing, this place was a total waste of time.

Hollywood: By far the best club downtown. There was about twenty girls in the place if you can deal with the cholo element and the pushy waiters its not a bad place. They had a good range of girls from spinners to gorditas but there was not a single stunner in the joint.

Las Vegas: There was three girls in the place and about four waiters. I walked in and walked out, there was nothing worth staying for in this place.

Ano Nuevo: Two girls working, both were pleasantly plump.

Eduardos: There was five girls available but the constant pressure from the waiters to buy another drink and the girls constant requests for ladies drinks make me hate this bar.

Alice and Charlies: I like going into this bar as the waiters leave you alone and the girls won't go over unless you call them over. There was six girls working and out of the six there was only one that was cute. I called her over her name was Brigette or something like that, she is from Juarez we talked for a bit and I asked about the cuarto and she quoted me 150 dollars for 30 minutes. I tried talking her down but she would not budge kept saying 150 for 30 minutes or 300 for an hour. I was shocked as this girl was cute and not a stunner. I sent her packing and called over another girl. Her name was Noami and she asked for 200 for one hour. I laughed, finished my drink and headed back to El Paso.

I had not been to Juarez in over six months and I probably won't be back anytime soon. The downtown area is totally depressing nothing like what it was a couple of years ago. On a positive note the tacos de buche are still as good as ever.

This always works with no fail!

When stopped by the police in Cd. Juarez, tell them that you work for and at the U. S. Consulate on Ave. Lopez Mateos. Whatever job function is fine. You don't need a business card, it's not a sales job. If you deliver this statement with confidence they'll run away fast or ask questions no how they can get a U. S. Visa. Tell them the filing fee is US $100 and the appropriate paperwork (bank statements, id, reason for visit, etcetera) are needed, but you don't process the paperwork.

They will never ask for references or any other proof and will never take anything from you. They will be scared of "getting fired" due to violating an "officials" liberties.

To make these guys even more defensive carry a pen and paper and when approached by the police start writing down their identification.

The above worked for me for years! And was suggested by my friends at the aduana mexicana (Mexican Customs) as an effective technique.

Meat Loaf, your post on this subject is most interesting, especially now that these "cops" are more apt to try to rob us during the happy holiday season.

How many times have you actually done what your post says during your mongering career? Whereas most of these "cops" are not very intelligent, I fear that with my luck, I would run into one who would ask for some kind of work ID and/or know the right questions to ask. Seems to me if they realized one was not telling the truth about this, one could get in big trouble.

Just wondering. What we don't go through to get a little sexual satisfaction. As one man once told me, "When you are an American in Mexico, you are a man without a country."

Just wondering. What we don't go through to get a little sexual satisfaction. As one man once told me, "When you are an American in Mexico, you are a man without a country. "

My FreedomYeah, "My Freedom, " being an American on the Mexican-side of the border is nothing more than walking around as a target. Living in Cd. Juarez for years taught me that the mentality of the city is one of "Gringo Envy: " I'm mad 'cause I can't enter the USA; I'm mad 'cause I got deported for drugs or gun crimes; I'm mad 'cause they make more money than I do; I'm mad is the mentality more or less. Therefore, let's chase them back across the border. After all, Mexico was robbed of the USA during that war in the 1850s.

Anyway, I've done that numerous times with the US Consulate statement. It's not a crime to lie. And none of the employees at the consulate speak Spanish. They're all 100% Gringos.

Another technique is to proudly state that you live in Cd. Juarez! Use the neighborhoods of Cordova Americas, Hildalgo, or Pronaf. If they ask for your address or id, tell them you move-in next week. They'll let you go, after asking why do you live here? Ask the cops where they live and speak a little about their neighborhood. Learn your bus routes for the above: 8A, 8B.

Another technique is to say your fiance lives in Cd. Juarez. She has 2 or 3 kids that you're helping her support. No she's not a "pro, " but a real woman from a country town like Porral, Chihuahua, or Torreon. Knowing your Mexican towns will have the police giving you respect and wondering who you are.

The police are looking to get people who are scared of Mexico, but if you exhibit that this is your home too, they back off.

All of the same techniques as the USA when in a foreign neighborhood where you stand out as not being a local resident.

I said I would report back in exchange for information so here goes...

I walked across the border around 4 PM, before dark. I managed to get through the phanlx of taxi drivers along Juarez. I kept on going and only after about 10 blocks checked my map. I managed to find Amazona. I went in to see what was up. There 4 ladies that met me, and these were older and not so beautiful ladies. The deal was $40 for one hour massage and sex. I declined politely and so headed out. I saw a wall that said Edwardo's and Hollywood, but it was just the facade as the rest of the building was ruble.

I tried to find Hollywood or Colorado with no luck. I ended back up on Juarez Av, and went into a restaurant for a beer, and to check the map again. No luck, so I got a cab and said I wanted to go to the Smart. The cab driver, said want massage, pretty lady? I said Smart. I walked to 5 blocks or so the Pink Ladies.

Several fair looking ladies there, some fat, some skinny. Anna came up and we talked for awhile, she had a cute face and nice tatas. Butt looked OK too. We got a beer and talked. She seemed fairly enthusiastic so we made a deal; 1000 pesos for an hour. I made it clear that I wanted an hour, 60 minutes, and included the room. The rooms at PL are Spartan, a bed and table. The guy at the door wants $5. for condom and paper. I don’t have my own, and not worth arguing at this point.

Anna gets undressed, and she has a huge belly! That I had not seen before. Belly button sticking out. I asked if she was pregnant, and she said no; but I still don’t believe her. Anyway I asked for the promised massage, and it lame to say the least. She wanted to get it on, so she could get out. I reminder her more than once, we have an hour, no rush. She puts the condom on and starts with a weak BJ. Mostly her hand and little lip. I try to get in her mouth more, try different positions, but she keeps her hand on the condom, like it will come off. Anyway I finally get on top of her and put it in her mouth, so I can get more in.

Next we fuck and it was more of the same, keeping a hand on the condom. I keep moving her hand away so, I can get some traction, and she puts it back. I tell her I want to fuck her pussy, not her hand. Mr Happy is not too happy any more. I end up taking the condom off and coming on her tits.

I am not real happy, I go back to the bar, and the scene is now crowded, so I head out. I ask the doorman to get me a cab. There are none around. Finally this guy says, want cab, let’s go, I ask cantos? He says $10. I laugh and walk back to the Smart and get a cab for $5

Someday, I would like to find the other places, because neither of my experiences at PL have been that good. Maybe I can get more help next time.

Might also consider other border cities, like Nuevo Laredo or Acuña.
Both are much better than Juarez. But a first time visitor may need some guidance or direction, but I have been to all of them, Juarez is a last choice for me. Just a FYI, my first monger trip to Juarez was back in 1972, my first visit was 1968.

Amazona's now claim they are open 24 hours. When I popped in Thursday nite (aound 8 or so), there were 6 and when I left about 1.5 hours later there were 2 more new ones including one very cute little spinner type that looked to be about 21 or so if that much.

I had checked Cleopatra's before that (at 1/2 time) and there were only 2 huge and (IMHO) ugly girls.

Eduardos' and Hollywood wall was "Eduardo's of Hollywood" - Eduardo's is on the corner next to that wall. Across the street from that is Ano Nuevo.

As far as Colorado - if you had made a left when you exited Amazona's and past Eduardo's and Ano Nuevo you would've found it with a "San Souci" sign on top of it about 2.5 blocks away.

Hollywood is easy to find if you use "The Plaza" as a landmark. When coming over the bridge down Ave Juarez, you'll find it on the right side of the street. Hotel Del Rio and Yankees Bar right across the street from it. A statue of two kids washing a horse and two big horseshoes (with rubble on their left) at the other end makes it easy to spot. Walk thru the Plaza, make a right at the end and you'll find Fausto's(Alice & Charlie's), Las Vegas and Hollywood all at the corner 50 feet from the Plaza. At the other end of Hollywood is Queen's. If there's water by the curb, look for the skid/pallet in the gutter in front of Fausto's to use as a bridge over it.

Don't know if you've used it but here's the link to the WikiMapia that we've referred to in the past:

http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=31.742685&lon=-106.486015&z=18&l=0&m=a&v=2

It has most, if not all, POIs. Mouse over the rectangle just above center - "Plaza Mariachi" aka The Plaza.

it says almost 5000 but true, where are they? i guess the key word is registered.

my best guess i would say there are barely a little over 100 downtown on a friday or saturday night. then there are the massage parlors i would say there are another 100 but that is just a number scraped off the top of my head.

maybe they are refering to the tonnage?

Meat Loaf, come to think of it, the last two times I have been frisked by the honorable policia of Cd. J, when I have told them I am "looking for an apartment to rent," they have backed off some. When they ask why, I simply say rents are too high in EP.

One time a lady cop asked me if I was married. I said "si," and she asked where my esposa was. I lied and told her in Torreon but had no problems.

I live in CJ about half the time, speak good spanish, and never act afraid of the "cops." This also seems to work; if they sense one is afraid of them it can be much worse. Some men who have been robbed will go to the police office on Oro Street and complain. I don't know how successful this is??

I have done that, and got money back. Make sure you speak passable Spanish or take someone with you that does. Best is to get any info possible, such as any bike or car numbers, names or badge numbers would help too. Don't go in pushy or demanding, just explain exactly what happened. They took the complaint seriously. I'll bet I saw about 60 cops that night at the station, so they know some will complain, but count on gringo stupidity, especially if you been drinking heavily.
The incident I reported was robbery by 2 cycle cops, they claimed money was dropped and they were trying to find me to give it back. Cop swears only $100 was dropped, but they actually took about $140. I don't think the supervisor bought story, but I grabbed the $100 and left without pressing issue for rest.

If you are buying an El Diario in El Paso, be sure it is not the El Paso edition. When they started an EP edition it took me a couple of issues to catch on. Some stores only sell the EP edition others sell both.

I have been meaning to buy an El Diario lately as I am working on a new map of Juarez for the website and I need to catch up on any unreported openings of new MPs.

The new map is going to be great. It will be styled after the acmap.com that I used as a reference from my trip to Angeles City, Philippines (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=649939&postcount=1094) in September.

I went out in search of contenders over the weekend. The only good news is that Ivy was still at the San Souci aka Colorado (but she's gone now til 12/17) & I spotted a slim second-stringer with a nice rack at the PL named Marlena (pronounced ~MarLAYna--if you've tagged that, please give up some basics...). The bad news is that the PL's "Roxanna" apparently esta no mas & the hot-but-poorly reviewed "Ruby" now has a bad perm & ain't really so hot anymore AND the second-stringer Gabby* also seems to have moved on (but I'm getting different stories on that--DAMN, I hope that it's not true, cuz I didn't get to bang that before she supposedly left--I'm STUPID that way sometimes!).

IMHO, the PL isn't getting it done the way it was before Thanksgiving & the Colorado is feast or famine based on the presence or absence of the one particular part-timer. Time to seriously figger something else out.

Also, the "stroll" in that last block before the Colorado seems to have been shut down.

*there's been another Gabby in there at least as far back as mid-October & there's now a 3rd.

Juarez, unfortunately, is a mere shell of what it used to be.

I think next time I visit, I will find a younger cab driver, someone that I can talk to and have him show me where the girls are. I did that once, several years ago, and the guy really showed me things I never knew. He made offer as I was walking in the downtown area, freezing cold, told me $5 and info was free. This was like 12 years ago.

Just offer a flat fee, say $20 or so if he can show me new places. Buy his beers, don't partake in any girls, as price will be stupid, but just a fact finding mission. Tell him straight up I know where places like PL and Casa are, and want to find new places, new faces.

Great Time.

Sitting in my office as usual, just checking out the wonderful world of hobbying when I checked the bridge times. MAN, 7 minutes at noon and it was 5 past 1. Needless to say I ran to my truck and was off to J-town. I kept going through my head, genesis, venus, parasio, which one, which one. Well I choose Genesis, good lineup, 5 girls and there was two doors closed so it must of been a good day. Noticed 3 hotties, but of course Hazel caught my eye almost immeadeately. Had to go for it.

She's great, I've been with her problem 4 times and she always remembers me. Great massage, very sensual work-up, she has braces so the Ouch factor is a downer, but the girl can work a CG.

Drove over, took me more time to find my $1. 95 then to get through the wait on the american side. 3 cars in front and 5 minutes later, back in the pass fellas.

Good trip, take advantage of the open lanes until they're closed again.

On Ave Juarez around 1AM, while heading to the bridge to go home, I see this stumbling local making his way down the street with 2 bike cops behind him, watching him and looking ready to stop and talk to him. This is about 3 or 4 blocks from the bridge. As the local passes me, they find I'm more interesting. "Hey mister..." she says. We go thru the usual routine and search about drugs and weapons and blah blah blah. And then they find it...

A few years ago, I had a very slight incident that resulted in the doctor giving me a small bottle of liquid spray nitro - for the heart. I've never used it and never needed it but tend to take it with me "just in case". NEVER had a problem - airports, Mexican Police - never a problem. I tell them what it is and what it's for - end of story.

These two found it interesting because it didn't have my name etc. on it, as a standard script bottle would. It was a small doctor sample type of bottle. "It could be a controlled substance and you might be carrying it illegally because you have no prescription as proof as is our law" is what, more or less, was explained to me.

While waiting for "their boss" to arrive ("he knows the paramedics") the male cop further explains that we might need to test it by a judge and maybe you pay a fine if it's illegal to have without a prescription in Mexico or maybe you can just go." Nothing was in an intimidating manner and I acted as if it was more of an inconvenience over nothing than anything else.

"Their boss" rolls up on his bike and, as I expected, didn't know a damn thing about what he was looking at. Yet another pat down w/out a problem but he did start acting a little bored with why he was there. At that time, I explained to the first cop that I've never used it - it's just in case and blah blah and I got people waiting for me and blah blah I just as soon you take it or throw it away or whatever and blah blah.

The bored cop said something to the first two that I didn't understand but toned-out as something like a 'why waste our time' type of comment. The first cop was then "nice enough" to let me go 'this time with a warning'. Sheesh.

Anyway - the moral of the story is if you have ANY meds of the office sample variety or are without full legit proof of "ownership" - leave it on the other side. They even spent 5 minutes discussing my grocery store throat lozenge. They aren't too bright and look for any reason...

On a side note, regarding the Oregon St peddy-path that went into effect on the 4th for the Santa Fe bridge - it sucks. It seems like a very long walk and a mugging in the waiting. At that time of nite, it's desolate - nothing anywhere but a very low sun canopy. I can see where the girls coming back might have a problem with harassment or what not. I'm glad it's only temporary... 2 years worth of temporary...

*there's been another Gabby in there at least as far back as mid-October & there's now a 3rd.Turns out the hottest of the 3 Gabbys is actually still on board, just not as frequent as she had been recently...OK energy level, sorta PSE...$80hh (non-taxi)...no bbbj option & re the cbj, you might wanna teach yourself how to say "suck harder" in Spanish...slight hooter sag

There's another potential "2nd-string contender" in there named "Lucero", but I've only seen her in an overcoat...

The jefe in there has been handing out 2008 calendar cards with a PL phone number & an address: 612-7485, Altamirano 825

got home from work a little passed 3 checked email, the forums and logged on to kumawar, a free one shooter online video game. killed a few, a few killed me. all the while thoughts of being naked in a small room on a rickety table being oiled down by a strange woman danced through my head. fuck it. so 10 till 4 i put on my chicken suit and headed off to juarez.

about 25 minutes later i arrived at genesis massage and asked for the famous (infamous to one) hazel. busy. i checked out the line up but i had my sites set on hazel. i have heard bad (only one report) but really mostly good, so i waited. they told me half an hour and i had to wait outside. what the fuck? this really ruffled my chicken feathers but what the hell, i was looking forward to a new experience, good or bad, no matter. i had to find out for myself.

after about 10 minutes the guy comes out and gets me and am greeted at the door by a cute little shorty with dyed blonde hair and a pretty smile. hazel. we walk to the room and she sets the shower for me. i don’t usually shower before a massage but since the water was running and it was good and hot i hop in and my feathers got all wet. she advises me to take off that suit and she really wasn’t turn on by it. she steps out of the room and i finish up and towel off. she returns and i’m nude and she playfully covers her eyes and i lightly shriek in fake surprise and cover mug jr. and cross my arm over my man boobs while turning off to the side bending my leg.

we laugh and she tells me to get on the table. “well which side do i put my head”, i ask. she says whatever and i ask, really, which side is better for you”. whichever. no real answer so i hop up and pick a side. she really went wild with the baby oil. i like lots of baby oil which is why i shower after a massage. hazel lacks a good firm hand for a massage which i like but she gave me lots of attention and really rubbed me down. she hops up on the table and similar to one of those thai soapy massages she slides herself up and down my back (and backside) i think she had more fun than i did.

one part that most massage therapists in juarez neglect is feet. not hazel. she gives me a good foot rub and it tickled a bit and she asked if it did and i said yes. when a foot massage is done right, there is no tickling involved but she did her best and was very considerate.

she flips me over and gives me some good rubbing but i guess mug jr is so cute she puts on his little hat and hops on for a pony ride.

oh yeah, i forgot to mention, while we were making small talk before the massage, i was trying to casually lean off to the side to get a glimpse of what i thought was a fantastic ass but not sure. i could have been a big ass covered up by her smock.

so while riding the pony i reach around and get a good feel of her glory and yes. it was a great ass, at least in my hands. so i tell her doggy time. rather than have her on all 4s on the table i had this shorty stand up and lean on the table. she is too short so she hikes up a leg on the table. oh what a beautiful ass. to hell with tits, a great ass is where it is at. i found it hard to get a good rhythm going with a little oil left on my feet. i use a foot to pull a towel on the floor to stand on. that was better.

enough with that shit. i short, hazel is an excellent provider and a wonderful girl. i will be back soon and this time she may be the one to get a massage. oh to coat that beautiful ass in baby oil. the sooner i return the better.

Closing of Juárez Ave. proposed
By Louie Gilot / El Paso Times
Article Launched: 12/11/2007 12:31:12 AM MST

The city of Juárez is considering closing Juárez Avenue, the main shopping strip near the Paso del Norte Bridge, to traffic, Juárez city officials said.
An association of Juárez Avenue shop owners said they wanted to encourage tourism by making the street a pedestrian-only area, remodeling some facades and adding statues and fountains before next summer. Traffic would be blocked between 16 de Septiembre Street and Ignacio Mejia Street, a portion that would be renamed Paseo de las Tradiciones.

Access to the bridge would not be blocked, officials said. The city said it would consider funding 25 percent of the project. The project has to be approved by the city council.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those not familiar with the street names - Ignacio Mejia is the west-east block with Caliente Sports Book, Taco Lucas and Cleopatras Masajes at the Avenida Juarez intersection.

And, of course, 16 de Septiembre is where the Aduana Fronteriza (old customs building) is located.

Well, I would imagine that their tourists are mongers and binge drinkers. What else or has there ever been to sightsee in Cd. Juarez? Maybe the ice rink in Plaza Las Americas; the old aduana building; the racetrack; the airport; and ave. juarez which is for mongering and binge drinking. I lived in Cd. Juarez for years and that's all I can come up with for tourism.

Cienega 32, the fine officials of Cd. Juarez are overlooking a couple of items. First, within another week, ten days at the most, the fine folk from el sur de mexico will all be heading north to go Christmas shopping in EP. Likely Juarez Av. will still be totally opened at this time, but bridge lines will increase heavily, likely to reach the 16th of September.

Then, the fine federal government of the U.S. will close down five of the nine lanes on the downtown bridge after the first of the year and on Jan. 31st passports and other items will be required to make the lines terribly long. This will cause nothing but frustration if Juarez officials decide to do what the El Paso Times mentioned on 12/11. Lines will easily back up way beyond Ignacio Mejia, so how to the traffic engineers of Cd. Juarez plan to handle this problem? They'll probably think of something, and they better, because the U.S. side plans to mess up the car traffic on this bridge (closing again five lanes) for a LONG time, like YEARS just to open up two more lanes. Doesn't make any sense at all.

If they close Ave. Juarez from 16 de Sept to Ignacio Mejia they would have to make Ignacio Mejia a one way from FCO. Villareal to Ave. Juarez and maybe even change the flow of traffic on Calle Mariscal and again, make Ignacio Mejia a one way from Mariscal to Ave. Juarez.

Even further, they may have to tear down some buildings to widen those portions of Ignacio Mejia to accomodate traffic going to the U.S.

If they just do it as is then they are in for a cluster fuck.

I am all for improving downtown Juarez. Closing that portion of Ave. Juarez is a good idea. Improvements are needed but it seems they can't make up their minds. First its chase all the strip clubs out and tear down everything in between now this. They could just push all the strip clubs over to Calle Degollado or maybe one street over or figure out where to put the walled off boystown and start building that.

A 65-year-old man told police he saw two men leaving the building before the blaze erupted.

Investigators were attempting to determine the cause of the fire. The News is located in an area filled with nightclubs and restaurants close to the Bridge of the Americas.

So, the game is at noon on Monday. Can anyone fill us in on what to expect in Juarez after the game/on New Years Eve/on New Years Day at the various venues? Anything extry special? More chicas in the bars? Or everything closed? Massive crowds of drunken hard-dicks?

I can add that my own observations are that normal, non-holiday off nights like Monday & Tuesday aren't so bad--especially Tuesdays, when I actually spotted a few potential contenders in Club Colorado (I hear "Ivy" won't be back til 1/12, BTW). Tuesday nights are also the only night that I have spotted "Marlena" in the PL. Overall, I'd say for the hottest hot hotties, at the moment, Tuesday is as good as the weekend.

There's also a PLer that I've spotted on various nights just coming in to get her check or something named "Paola" who only puts it out during the days on something like Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays.

There's been a very fine contender in Club Hollywood on a fairly regular basis, but her name escapes me--I hear it's $120 for her, the bar fine, & the room and that walking away from that price & trying again the next night doesn't help get a better deal.

I went to casa colorado yesterday. It was the first time I visited there, you guys tell great thing about that place that I was relly excited to be there. But once I was in there it really sucked. There were two nice chicas but they were busy with two gringos. So I finished my beer and went to a big place white and pink (don't remember the name). There were some chubby girls dancing but there were two really good looking girls. After having some beers there I decided to take a walk and maybe find a chica on the street that looked good for some sex. I didn't have to go far, just a block from were I was I found a really good looking girl so I asked and it was 250 plus room another 100 pesos. I fucked her on her back with her legs on my shoulders (very nice) and then some doggy style (real good looking ass). So, long story short, casa colorado sucks, street girl GOOD. But anyway, if Mexico paid their police fair wages there would be alot less corruption in all aspects.

A big part of it is that the military, especially the Air Force, is being run by fundamentalist christians. It's ok to kill a towel head for Jesus, but going and having a little fun might be immoral.

Went by Genesis this morning, and as reported by E-Dick and P-N-Teeth, they are indeed closed for remodelling. Guy in the lot directed me next door. However the girl I chose, Joanna, told me the place next door is not just a temporary thing. It is an entirely new MP named Annalee. Genesis is going to reopen in a couple of weeks, so there are going to be 2 MPs right next to each other.

Joanna also said that Annalee is a 2 story establishment, opened about a month ago, and that they were going to have about a dozen girls, with about another eight next door at Genesis. I commented that it didn't make sense to have them right next to each other, unless maybe the owner wanted to have a one-stop-shopping type of experience set up. Don't like what you see at one place, walk right over to the one next door???

Price at Annalee is 300p. You can park at the Genesis lot, or park in the Annalee lot, entrance to which is immediately south of the rear entrance to the Genesis lot. Might be kind of hard to find for new guys since you have to make your way to the alley behind Genesis amongst a couple of one way streets, so recommend the front entry to Genesis for simplicity if it's your 1st visit.

Who tried to tip Joanna one buck? She is quite the chatty girl and she was commenting about some of the things customers do, good and bad. She told me one guy pulled out a fat wad of bills at the end of their session, thumbed thru them... and pulled out a solitary dollar. I had to laugh at that one!

Did you find Casa Colorado on the map? Just curious.

Anyway - I think there's a lot of differing opinions on the SW scene in Juarez with the one theme of try to avoid them being prevelant. They're usually cracked out for the most part and not to concerned with hygiene for another part. You can find some goodies now and then but myself... I pass on them.

I always have to wonder why they're not in a club or where ever and always seem to come up with the same answers - drug problems earned them the street, problems with 'papers' or even being to young. All of which I would avoid - ESPECIALLY the latter.

There's also always a lot of girls hanging in the doorways of little hotels and such.

But for where they're at - around the Gym was always a popular area.

You would also be surprised by walking down Ave Juarez and giving a girl that "I wonder how she would be" type of look and having her respond with "Room?"

It's not that hard to get busted fooling around with SW in the U. S. , and in Juarez your methods & bs will have to somehow trump the anti-gringo factor and/or outright racism once you manage to get yourself in Juarez LE's sights. You also may have HER go-to incall as your only option for "location" and that's a no-no for lotsa saavy U. S. SW mongers. There's also a trick or two that U. S. SW mongers use to protect themselves that won't be available to you if you are operating on foot. I'm not 100% convinced that they're more std-prone than Juarez "bargirls", but C'32 is prolly right about the other factors and, again, those risks are likely all magnified by your gringo (& anglo? ) persona, just like they prolly are for Mexican pooners in the U. S.

Thanx guy's for the map, but what area are the SW's or are they the same.Everything Cienega32 and Quarterback said, plus some percentage of SWs are transvestites who often, at least from a distance, look more fetching than the real girls. A case of mistaken identity could lead one into a sticky (icky) situation.

However, if you must, open the wikimap link. Drop back two steps and look for a new place (bordered in yellow) labelled Alley Stroll. The side streets in that area should be what you're looking for.

Good luck, and let us know where to send the flowers.

Also, the one time that I've walked down Avenida Juarez around midnite, they seemed to be more prevalent along there compared to more respectable hours (and no cops in sight).

Thanx for the heads up, thats what I needed to know. I guess I will stick with the mp's. I have had very good luck with those so far. Are there any places that don't have massage tables, like the brothel that is on the map or is it the same. A bed would be nice once in a while.

All my experiences with SW have been (W)HORIBLE.

You do not want to do business with desperate crack *****s.

How any monger makes it work is beyond me.

I will be in CJ in a couple of weeks. "Joanna" from Luxxor caught my eye on their website (she's allegedly the girl on the far left in the attached photo). But it looks like the one or two reports on her from this board gave her average reviews. Has anyone else had any experience with her?

Secondly, I have no problem paying double and would like to have a threesome too if I can arrange it. Any recommendations as to where to go for the best experience? I'll only be staying in El Paso for a night and then will need to drive 700 miles on the following day, so I don't want to be out too late (I guess it's a good thing the MP's don't stay open past 9)...and haven't been there before, so don't want to be wandering around trying to figure out where the hell I am.

So I suppose the priorites are:
1) Joanna (if she's a good provider and the photo doesn't lie)
2) Threesome
3) Someone with a lower-back tattoo (don't know why...never nailed such a girl so what the hell).

Thanks to all you mongers who contribute so much helpful info.

I'll be in El Paso this coming week. I've played around a bit on the El Paso side but want to venture over to Juarez. I'd like to try the bar scene and like the ladies to look a bit sleazy. Could someone on the list recommend something for a "walk-across-the-bridge"? I'd like to walk over at about 6 and return by 9.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Any thoughts are appreciated.I dunno if I'm "on the list", but from the bridge you could walk down Avenida Juarez several blocks & then hang a right over to Club Hollywood & look for Stephanie (HOT for Juarez, but unreviewed...) or there's an unreviewed sluttier spinner in there that might suit you, but I don't recall her name. From there, get a cab either to S-Mart for a walk south several blocks down Altamirano to Pink Lady OR take the cab all the way to the Pink Lady (understanding that the taxi will get a cut & therefore you'll pay more). Look for Marlay/Marlena or hang an hour or so & look for someone who suits you. If you STILL haven't been laid, get the guys at the door to arrange a taxi to San Souci/Casa Colorado--if it's a regular taxi, you might wanna have him take you to Tacos Lucas on Avenida Juarez & then just walk south & then west from there...if it's their in-house guy (usually Luis), just go directly there. If you're there as late as next weekend, look for "Ivy" (pronounced Eevee)...otherwise, it can be really slim pickins in there, but I saw a few (new?) hotties in there on a Tueday night recently.

FYI, Veronica is back @ genesis, imho one of the best mp girls. i actually don't get along with her, we, unfortunately for me, had a misunderstanding, but i have to think of my fellow mongers. the owner also told me they are trying to hire more new girls. I have to say the line up was pretty good.

Do you know if that's the same Stephanie that used to be at Dia y Noche? Kind of tall and slim, and speaks English?

See the wiki map linked below for locations. Thanks for the report QB. Do you think Thursday would be a good night to go over? How much of a concern would mugging be if I was in/out by 9pm?

How much should I expect to pay? I've combed through the recent reports but can't seem to see how much to expect to pay.

Any thoughts are appreciated. If your from Denver anything your quoted should appear to be budget rates. I would also recommend you go straight to pink lady and find a girl there. If you bargain you can possibly get someone to go as low as $40/30 minutes or $60/hr. More than likely you will pay $80-$100 especially if you take a taxi. So after you've made your counter offer and settle on $80-$100 I wouldn't worry. Go all the way down Juarez avenue and turn left walking towards the church. Go up the street on the south side of the church looking for the Large S-Mart grocery Store sign on your left. Turn down Altamirano the street before the S-Mart and continue down till you see the red sign on the right and go into pink ladies. Buy a beer ($2) and survey the room for the girl that looks good to you and invite her over for a drink. Bring your own condoms and on the way back tip the condom lady so maybe you get some extra time before she raps on the door.

Mugging is not a huge problem IMHO, but if you walk back go the main routes. We were walking back last Thursday and came accross some cops that searched us thoroughly. No problems but was a pain in the ass. Leave your medications at home! Good Luck.

Surely he must mean right, because that would be the correct direction.

Altamiriano is easy to spot, that is the street the Hotel Manport is on.
Pink Ladies is a good walk from there.

Study: Monkeys 'pay' for sex by grooming
In the primate world, sex is subject to the law of supply and demand

By Gillian Wong--The Associated Press--Jan. 5, 2008

SINGAPORE - Male macaque monkeys pay for sex by grooming females, according to a recent study that suggests the primates may treat sex as a commodity.

"In primate societies, grooming is the underlying fabric of it all," Dr. Michael Gumert, a primatologist at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, said in a telephone interview Saturday.

"It's a sign of friendship and family, and it's also something that can be exchanged for sexual services," Gumert said.

Gumert's findings, reported in New Scientist last week, resulted from a 20-month observation of about 50 long-tailed macaques in a reserve in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Gumert found after a male grooms a female, the likelihood that she will engage in sexual activity with the male was about three times more than if the grooming had not occurred.

And as with other commodities, the value of sex is affected by supply and demand factors: A male would spend more time grooming a female if there were fewer females in the vicinity.

"And when the female supply is higher, the male spends less time on grooming ... The mating actually becomes cheaper depending on the market," Gumert said.

Other experts not involved in the study welcomed Gumert's research, saying it was a major effort in systematically studying the interaction of organisms in ways in which an exchange of commodities or services can be observed — a theory known as biological markets.

Dr. Peter Hammerstein, a professor at the Institute for Theoretical Biology at Humboldt University in Berlin and Dr. Ronald Noe, a primatologist at the University of Louis-Pasteur in Strasbourg, France, first proposed the concept of biological markets in 1994.

"It is not a rare phenomenon in nature that males have to make some 'mating effort' in order to get a female's 'permission' to mate," Hammerstein said in an interview, likening the effort to a "fee" that the male pays.

"The interesting result of Dr. Gumert's research on macaque mating is that the mating market seems to have an influence on the amount of this fee," Hammerstein said.

Hammserstein said Gumert's findings indicate the monkeys are capable of adjusting their behavior to "different market conditions."

Gumert completed his fieldwork in February 2005 and first published his findings in the November issue of "Animal Behaviour," a scientific monthly journal.
