I agree with this sentiment. After having a disappointing experience in Manila, I flew over to Cebu with 0 expectations for mongering. I just did some touristy things and stayed in a nice condo in IT Park. It cost me about $50/ day. But was worth it for me as I didn't enjoy my stay in Manila for $35/ day.

I went to a couple night clubs, massage parlors, and a couple KTVs, but the talent was really bad. I'm only here for 6 days, so I didn't think dating sites / apps were an option for such a short stay.

Booked two AirBnbs, one right beside Ayala Mall and another in IT Park.

The one in IT Park was by mistake and when I tried to cancel was too late. So I ended up with both of them.

Since I'm not an online type of guys I knew it would a challenge here in Cebu. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Cebu Cty and it's a very nice and pretty new hotel near the Ayala mall. I read the Ayala mall was a good place to hook up but the times we were there I only saw two working there. What I did notice, it seem the mall was a good place to meet an online hookup. Sorry to disappoint with this report but if you are good with the online game, I think you would be golden. Just my opinion.Cebu has certainly become an online place as have many places. But being out and about it also going to work for you. I sat at the Terraces and got nowhere over two mid-week nights. I sat at TGIF downstairs and I was the one that got picked up.
