I am a first-time traveler to PI, I am a seasoned traveler mostly to Latin and South America. I am asking people that have been to both which they prefer. I am not much of a club or gogo bar guy.

I do have some contacts I have made through DIA and PL, which one would you recommend I visit? I plan on visiting PI for a week before I leave for Bangkok.

If you mean Makati then no. I would go to Cebu. Makati / Manila is a traffic nightmare. The scene is totally different from Latin America. Prostitution is illegal in PH. The go-go spot only want you to buy drinks, if you say you want to fuck them you have to pay a exit fee and then pay the girl. My advise is just go on dates. Double book yourself because girls are super flakey. On the dating sites you have to be able flush out the hoes and the good girls, or the girl that are looking for sugar daddy. I've used DIA and F. Cupid and go on dates and fuck them on the first date. But I got good game.

From what I understand, article 202 of the Philippines Penal code makes it a crime for women to sell sexual services or work as a sex worker with penalties ranging from 200 to 2000 pesos and in extreme cases maybe a day or two in jail. (See attached screenshot).

Article 202 does not mention male customers of female sex workers at all. So therefore, if I am understanding article 202 correctly, it is only illegal to sell sex but not to buy sex and the customer would not be in violation of article 202.

I plan on visiting PI for a week before I leave for Bangkok.If you don't like bars and want to do online then no need to be in Makati. The malls are big and crowded and the area is mainly a business district with a small bar scene. I prefer Malate but mainly that is where Korea Town is and I like Korean food, it also has LA Cafe which is a freelancer hangout. Pasay is near Mall of Asia which is popular with girls and quite easy to get to. If going to dating sites no need to be shy. I just state I am looking for a girl to spend the night with, quickly sorts out those who are interested. I have never been to Cebu, just one more flight to deal with, but I hear it has a vigorous online scene. I Have never been in a gogo bar and never had a problem finding talent.
