Interested if spartan had any luck as I may head there this week. I have had luck with escorts there but street scene and bars not so much. I have more luck with street girls in nogales. Did a quick run to mexicali since it's been many months since last visit. Inquired on couple ladies from mileroticos thinking try that route, it has worked in past. Pattaya is a spectacle to see and sadly most won't see it. I have been visiting Pattaya for over a decade now and the city has become my escape from the ratrace of the USA and I regularly spend 30 to 90 days there regularly. My typical game plan for Tijuana has always been simple: Check-in to hotel, Uber to the Zona and partake in a SG, then either grab food somewhere in the city or chill out at one of the bars to refuel, massage to get a nice rub down and power nap, eat a nice hearty dinner, and cap it off with a TLN with an agency or Telegram girl. All-in, I'd probably spend anywhere from $700-750 including hotel. Unfortunately, this was pre-COVID and I've noticed prices have gone up as expected.

Having limited knowledge of Mexicali, I'm wondering if this game plan or something similar would be worth it or just try to plan for a Tijuana trip later down the line. The main priorities for me would be to get that first nut out of the way with a SG, then maybe a massage, and finally a TLN with a Telegram girl. Thinking of making my first time to Mexicali for a long weekend. I am trying to get an idea of safety. I imagine that, for the average tourist, sticking to tourist areas, is probably at minimal risk.

But we are not typical travellers. Because of our hobby, we often venture to parts of town on the edge. In this case, I am looking to sample the strip clubs or massage parlors. I am not really into escort websites and social media. I want to see with my own eyes first.

Are the clubs like Guau Guau and Mosca in bad parts of town? Do shady actors hang out there looking for gringos?

For reference, I have been to Tijuana several times, but not lately. Not in the last 10 years or so. The violence has ratcheted up in recent years, so I stopped going.

And how IS the Mexicali Chinese food there? Is it just hype? Or does it actually have some interesting fusion dishes?

Thanks in advance!It is "safe". It is a big city. For more info see TomJackin's (and others) reports. As far as Chinese food and La Chinesca go, I think it's in the past. Mexicali was basically founded by Chinese laborers in the 1920's and they owned all the casinos, restaraunts and bars. I was there for three days last February and walked around La Chinesca. I didn't see many people who even looked chinese. I don't think any of them are still cooking food.

I've been traveling around Mexico for the last two months and have had bad luck with Mileroticos. It used to be hit or miss for me -- now it seems about 100% bad.
