Nice update on the Lokasari scene. And good on ya for sticking to your price. As I've said many times before here, and as you just confirmed, some of these arrogant punters on here who think they're being cute by overpaying and throwing around big tips is the reason prices go up. A Lokasari street girl now asking for 1 M is a prime example of what I was trying to warn people about.I actually don't understand why people go to Loksari at all when you've got Classic. Why be standing outside a mall waiting for ages to go into a dodgy hotel when things are so well-organised at other places in Jakarta.

Was in classic again and saw a Japanese / Korean whatever he was bring a bag in and sit at a table nearby me he calls a girl from her seating to meet him no laser he opens his bag and outcomes a cuddly fluffy tiger cub and gives it to her all the girls look so lovingly at that. Then the two cashiers asked several times if they could keep the change. Sorry but their job is a joke and not worthy of a tip. Sit down and wait, it gets worse. Outside I hand the thing showing I paid to the girl before getting on the elevator. That witch looked at my hand and asked for the money. WTF! I hand her a piece of plastic which takes 5 seconds of her time and that is worthy of a tip? Neither of those have happened before. Maybe you guessed it, maybe you did not, so I will tell you I was not a happy camper.

I was in one of the more popular Gogo Bars on Walking Street (Fields Ave) around 10:30 pm and a somewhat older guy shambles in and sits down by the side of the stage. He's got a huge plastic bag with him and starts pulling out stuffed animals, Santa style, and handing them to the dancers. They gushed over these trinkets and gave "Santa" big hugs. He never paid for a drink or tipped any cash. From what I could see, he didn't even speak to anyone. Just sat there, grinning.

Two guys came walking by with the monkey on a little motorcycle and they were whisking it around with a rope while another guy was beating the drums making jungle music. Very impressive. They also had another act where the monkey was walking in stilts but I didn't get any pictures or video of that part.

Quite frankly I never fucking tip and I don't care what the hell anyone thinks of it. If a waitress feels she is underpaid she shouldn't beg for tips from the customers, she should talk to her employer.

I personally have noticed in my travels that tipping is not usually expected and locals don't usually leave tips either, not in Latin America or in Asia.
But if someone wants to leave a tip because he felt he got great service and wants to show his grsti8 by leaving a tip then it should be his right to do so. It's the same like the "your dick, your money" argument.

Just one example: A restaurant in the building I live is the same as having a personal chef and a staff to serve me. When I make a new order the Chef will come to my table and go over all of the ingredient in the new dish (something very important for a person with food allergies) along with how the dish will be prepared. There is not a culture of tipping where I am. I am always pleasantly received and well remembered because of my pleasant personality (and my tips).
The amounts some consider to be a waste or that I throw around are insignificant to me. But 50 - 100 THB can buy a person two lunches here. Mr submarine commander, in the Thailand threads they said you'd be here. Roast me next! This is fun. I'm glad there's a rants section here too. I didn't actually read everything, don't have time, just kinda skimmed through. But everybody's talking about tipping right?
Well, I personally dislike it. I think it's gone way too far, especially here in the States. It's way excessive now. And the fact that it's expected, regardless of the quality of the service is definitely not cool. As for tipping in Thailand, I did it all time time, and only when I thought the service was good.
So when the chick I fucked went above and beyond, or was just super nice, you better believe I tipped. Or if the Grab driver wasn't an asshole, yeah, depending on the change required I probably tipped. But in cafes and restaurants, I almost never did, because it actually seemed weird to do it. Like culturally, it was not expected at all. Since the actual service fee was already included.

My tipping in those circumstances yield results for me far beyond the minor amounts that the tips. Yields that those with poverty mentalities will never understand.
Just one example: A restaurant in the building I live is the same as having a personal chef and a staff to serve me. When I make a new order the Chef will come to my table and go over all of the ingredient in the new dish (something very important for a person with food allergies) along with how the dish will be prepared. There is not a culture of tipping where I am. I am always pleasantly received and well remembered because of my pleasant personality (and my tips).
The amounts some consider to be a waste or that I throw around are insignificant to me. But 50 - 100 THB can buy a person two lunches here. Worry about your own flow and build your own stack and I'll do the same for mine and spend it how I like. Work on your Poverty Mentality and learn how to be a producer not a consumer.

There are no ATM fees in Jakarta, when using the correct ATM / Bank.
Similar to how in Colombia it used to be that you could use Davivienda, Caja Social, or BBVA without paying a fee, there are many banks in Jakarta you can use without paying a fee.
I never used this Niaga bank you mention, but many ATMs in Jakarta are fee free including BNI, BRI, the one inside the Alfamart across from Travel, both ATMs in the parking lot of Classic, even an ATM at Grand Indonesia Mall (the ones near to the escalator).
All those ATMs have zero fees.
Of course if you go around looking for an ATM with a fee, you will eventually find one but there are plenty of fee-free ATMs all around that it is easy enough to never pay a fee even on a 2 month long trip. Most have limits of 1200 k or 1250 k depending on whether it's a 50 k or 100 k machine but there are no limits to doing 2 or 3 withdrawals if you need more cash.

This board has been taken over by immature people like Gabacho, Plant Smoke and their ilk who are combative and entitled. They may or may not add some information but they are not the kind of people I wish to help or engage with. And many other experienced posters feel the same. The moderators are quick to put actual experienced helpful posters on moderation while allowing drivel from posters like P.S. To proliferate unchecked. All of these factors have caused a huge drop in the quality, credibility and usefulness of the Jakarta board. Its fun for entertainment but no real value.

Alternatively, there is a vaccine for meningitis be called bexsero that offers cross protection (of up to 50% protection) against bacterial gonorrhea. So by having 3 doses (the new CDC recommendation) of Bexsero vaccine plus taking daily doxycycline you will be at about 88% protection against gonorrhea, chlamydia, and Syphilis.
Also look into:
Gardasil 9 for prevention of genital warts.
Twinrix Vaccine for prevention of Hepatitis A and be.
HIV PREP for prevention of HIV.
Valtrex (Valacyclovir) take 1 gram daily for prevention of herpes outbreaks.
Acyclovir can be used if Valacyclovir is unavailable or too expensive.
I am not a medical doctor, but these are some of the methods that I use and they work for me, you can Google theses things and find results from studies that will back up what I'm saying too, so if you decide to use them too and they work for you then that is great and I'm glad my information was helpful.

And you can look up on Google about doxycycline used as prep for gonorrhea chlamydia and Syphilis and see what it says for yourself, you can also look up bexsero as well there was a study in Australia and another in New York that showed it offers cross protection against gonorrhea.

Regarding the whole DoxyPrEP discussion. Here is what I could find.
Currently there are no guidelines from the CDC on taking Doxycycline as a Pre Exposure Prophylaxis or PrEP that I could find. The only guidelines I could find were for DoxyPep. Details below.
There were two small studies presented in 2024 that did provide encouraging results for taking 100 MG of Doxy per day as a PrEP, but the best I could find is that this is currently being studied further and there is no official guidance from the CDC about this yet.
I would also note the study only included gay men and heterosexual women, but not the effectiveness on heterosexual men.

Due to the jet lag, I was unable to session that same day.
The next day we went to T5 and Gabacho went with a girl within 5 minutes of arriving LOL.

Or someone shared the photo in some local group (maybe whatsapp or Telegram) and Classic representative happened to be there in that group or some locals who did not like such sharing of pic.
Or one of the mongers from the ISG could have shown the photo to the Mamasan (s) specifically for a girl without realising the consequences. We cannot blame the Classic folks for preventing taking photos with gals. However I don't believe there are hidden cameras in the rooms where clients and gals have fun.

For anyone who posts here there will be 1000 more lurkers and watchers, as well as every LEO on the planet, and every prick who wants to harvest blackmail material. Unless you've scanned the rooms at Classic with the appropriate equipment, you're hardly in a position to say he's talking out of his ass, and even if you had, no need to insult somebody for simply stating what is indeed a possible explanation.
Next Q: what are the other possibilities? OP tips a girl, she's happy, why would anyone approach OP afterwards with a complaint?
The over-tipping might have made the girl happily talk about her experience with others, and the photos might have been mentioned too. In lieu of G's experience here of being approached about his photos, it may indicate management don't like people taking photos of the girls and are now strictly enforcing this due to some new event.
If the girl that pointed out G. was indeed one he posted photos of here, I would speculate that there is an asshole here who showed those photos, and probably also website, to management at Classic in order to create trouble, perhaps specifically for G. I suspect I'm not the only one here who has received threatening private messages from G., and though I never found it worth doing anything else but ignore and block him, somebody else might have responded differently. Hopefully it is not like that, as that's indeed an asshole way to respond, and it has now affected everyone who likes to take selfies with hookers, and possibly other effects too.

The net value to the Jakarta forum and our craft is done a gross misservice by the likes of this gentleman and all his adoring acolytes. They turn up in Jakarta. This one because somebody in his last playground, surprisingly wanted to pop him, then start running around here like King Pring, boasting about BB'ing everything, posting senseless identifying pic's of girls. The bragging about BB only eased when the overwhelming majority of members weighed in advising against it. OS only wished the whole photo thing had unfolded at Kota Indah where things would have been handled in a rather less refined manner. It reminds OS of the hubris of the infamous Frenzy, who some years ago pranced around on the Phillipines forum before taking a sudden fall. Frenzy now participates in daily Filipino prison life.
OS was in early days a prolific pic poster. One lot of uncensored pics were lifted off this forum and ended up front and fore on a number of google searches with the poor girl holding and then clearly impaled on OS's big thing. OS profoundly regrets likely destroying that girls life and it would list up there as one of his top 10 dumb things to have done.
For those of you who so desperately want to assert your manhood here, you need to ask the question of why the admiration of a bunch of faceless punters whom you will likely never meet is your greatest ambition? It's pitiful. But the dangerous bit is the damage caused to every other persons interests by what Expat American summed up as immaturity.

Posting pictures is not a good idea for many reasons but here is why there is almost always a problem:
1. the photo is current (less than a year old).
2. the location is specific and known.
3. (1 and 2) allows the girl to almost always be identifiable.
4. never tell others what she does and does not do because it is many times customer specific so if the next guy does not get the exact same service he complains and names the website / guy that his info was gained from.

Then you go down to the room with the girl.
For Travel, it a similar structure, but I think they charge 375 K.
For Kota Inhah clubs, likewise, it works in the same way. Sari Ayu charge 400 K for an hour; Starmoon club had 2 different prices for different girls.
This is for fucking a girl.
Entrance wise, Classic has a 5 K entrance charge. No pressure to buy a drink. Travel has a slightly higher charge (I forget how much), but it's less than $1.
There is no entrance charge in any of the KI bars. You can walk in, look at the girls, decide you don't like any of them, and walk right out, and into the next one.

Payment is made at the end of your sessions at the front and center desk where the lady will match your check (voucher) with the check the mommie handed to them earlier. You pay one time. Then get a wooden handle wrapped around your invoice and hand that to the guard as you walk out of Classic.

Simple. When they ask for the girl's payment you tell them you will sign for it. All those boxes behind the cashiers is not just for drink slips.
Much easier to pay it all at the end rather than making 2 payments.
Paying first is a way for the mamasan to learn if you are a newbie or a pro.
If you pay after the mamasan does not have your money so if a problem arises with the girl and you leave the room ASAP and ask for a new girl your chances increases for a better outcome in your favor. Granted not much but still better.
You avoid the dreaded mamasan asking for the change as a tip for her which saves you money and avoids attitude from the mamasan. Give it after the deed is done but not before.
The mamasan asks you for the tip in front of the girl before going to the room to embarrass you to giving. If you do not give the tip, the girl may assume she will not get a tip either and drop her performance level.
Not rocket science, but I have never read a post that explained to always sign for the girl, and most definitely nobody could explain why to do it this way.
