Be prepared for some serious anti US sentiment while visiting Panama in the near term due to Trump's stand on the Panama Canal. Already happening actually. Politics aside, I find this stand dangerous and incomprehensible.I understand your feelings on the subject felt anxious myself and I would watch the situation if I had a trip planned here. I'm here now and have been last 3 weeks and have not had any issue at all I've not talked it much but a few uber drivers. Said they like Trump. If I had a trip planned I wouldn't cancel it unless it got worse. I saw maybe 50 protesters in front of a govt building but they not been blocking streets and stuff like they usually do when they protest. If your from the states if they ask just tell them your from Canada.

I was here there were some protests when marco rubio came, but I been telling people it's the america canal now and they laugh their asses off. I'd wait until some real shit goes down like a us carrier arrives to worry. Just avoid protests ofc or you know. Soy canadian.
