I know that Beergarten in SOi 7 is closed but I am a nostalgic of this place. SO much better than for example Thermae Café which I also like. But in BG you couls spend 1-2 h discussing with mid-aged ladies, still in good shape and lind. They were not worried if at the end you did'nt take them out. In Thermae Cafe you negotiate 2 min and go out make your deal, the pretty girl just want to finish as quick as possible to retrun to the place for another customer. Young ladies there are mostly attractive but sorry to say, apart from glorious exceptions, neat in bed. In BG, I had only good or very good experiences, ladies were exeprimented and willing to please. Now my question; Has Beergarten ever been replaced, where did all these ladies go? Is there an equivalent now? Thanks for your comments!!

I share your nostalgic memories on the Beergarten. My best memories of Bangkok come from this place. You could chat with a lady in her mid thirties. For an hour. You offered her a drink. Finally took her back to your hotel. Always longtime. Reasonable price and most of time the service was excellent.

Thanks for your comments!!The interesting question is "where have all the ladies gone?" Given the average age, no spring chicken, probably they dissipated through the city, some in massage shops, some really retired, some went back to the country. I always thought that Beergarten for some if them was a secondary job, where they could socialise and raise some extra baths.

A few of the younger ones joined the FL forces on the sidewalks of lower sukhumvit.

Pity it's gone but might have not survived the modern digital era anyhow. The new generations of mongers, if any substantial ones, seems far from that business model.
