I been there 15 years ago, and it was for me the nicest place in Cambodia, there wasn't too much going on, only a few bars on the beach at the end of a main road. I had a very good time with the bartender, and her friend, from the bar at the end of the road going to the beach on the right, they even cooked for me the next day. By looking at the map I thing was street 607, but I'm not sure, also I read that there has been a lot of new construction in the area, and it may look different now. I can't find any new intel about Sihanoukville, and I'm heading that way in about a week, right now I'm up north.

Any mongerer that has fresh info, please share.

Largely because I think the scene is completely different now, more obscure, Chinese only places, silly prices etc etc. Frankly if I were you I would not even bother but good luck. I would love to hear I am wrong!I meant that not much was going on in terms of visitors, and the chinese invasion that I'm reading about, back then the locals were talking about russians being all over the place, but I didn't encountered any, basically the place was deserted. Myself I was lucky from the first night, and the girls were so good, sweet and nice that it remained one of my most pleasant memories, that's why I want to visit the place again.

I did travel all my life, but for the past 4 years since I quit working, I live on the road, basically just move from one place to another, some places are amazing, and I spend few months there, some are not, and I leave after a week, therefore if Sihanoukville is a dud, I'll just live after a few days, but I have to see it, I don't have no other schedule, and no place to be.

Cambodia changed a lot since my previous visit, the streets are paved now, and lots of nice restaurants and bars popped up. I stayed 10 days in Siem Reap, the prices were incredibly low, nice hotel rooms for $10, a meal for $3, beer $0. 70, pussy $20-25.

I just arrived in Phnom Phen yesterday, the prices seem to be double than SR for hotels and food but still reasonable, I didn't try the pussy yet, but I've seen a lot of it in the area delimitated by 130st, 141st / 13st, Riverside. I'm going to stay 10 days, then move to Sihanoukville, I would love to, but cannot stay longer because my passport expires in less than six months, and I already had the Tom Hanks's The Terminal experience happening for 3 hours in between Thailand and Cambodia being sent back and forward in "no man's land" before I was allowed to enter Cambodia.

I have few questions if you don't mind, since I can't find any other info in the forum or elsewhere, and you're the only one with knowledge about SV:

In what area should I look for a hotel? I don't need nothing fancy, just clean, without homeless sleeping in the doorway.

Where is the pussy concentrated?

Do you know what online platform are the girls using to attract punters?

Sorry for the late reply. I do not check the board that often.

I'm afraid I will be of no help. I can tell you the most cental area for hotels is near the Golden lions or any street that branches off the roundabout.

In the PAST pussy was mainly on Blue Mountain, out by the port an up on Victory hill, plus some freelancers in bars around town that no longer exist. I think but do not know that there may be a little still happening on the road up to blue mountain and at a few bars on the hill but honestly this may yield zero.

No idea of online platforms but I do now some guy some months back who was in PP enquiring about pussy in Snooky said he found a girl online who sounded quite enthusiastic. Asking price- $200!

I got an appartment in the Star Bay complex, close to the once popular Sokha and Ochheuteal Beach, comprised of 3 high-rises 33 stories high, 30 apartments per floor, so about 1000 apts each, 3000 total.

I've been in 2 of the buildings, and I suppose that the 3rd one is similar, In each building there are few hundred girls, all surgically enhanced, not only boobs, but chin, nose, skin pigmentation, to me they all look like spinsters, summarily dressed, or in pajamas, never in street clothes, and they are constantly moving in-between floors. The male population is comprised of Chinese only, and they are also constantly riding the elevators in-between floors. It seems to me that there is some giant brothel operation going on in secret, known to the Chinese only.

The girls seem to speak Chinese, I don't know to which extent, but even on the phones they watch Chinese movies, and talk to the guys in Chinese, only among themselves in Khmer. No English whatsoever.

The whole city looks like a ghost town, with about 1000 unfinished, abandoned high rise buildings in various states of decay, probably first the tower cranes are going to fall down, then the whole buildings. The city was taked over by the Chinese about 10 years ago, they transformed everything after the grandiose soulless Chinese communist model, probably scammed a lot of investors, then disappeared.

You can't even find a decent restaurant to eat, it's all Chinese, and just like in Beijing, it's kind of hard to figure it out what the heck is going on in there, is it food? Is it open? Is some exclusive club?

All the bars on Sokha Beach have been replaced with unoccupied villas. The bars on Serendipity Beach are Chinese, and mostly empty, only one is left untouched and is hosting the few westerners venturing in the area Khen's Shack. Been there few days in the row in the evening, very nice, but the music from the 2 adjacent empty chinese bars is so loud that after few hours you go deaf.

No action to be found in the area, I asked the waiter from KS, being the only English speaking person in town, where can I get some girls, and he said that around there are Chinese only girls, and they charge 2-300 $ to have dinner with you, dinner only, It seems to be a trend among the Chinese, to each its own.

The mongering places that I found mentioned in different blogs, around the Golden Lion Circle I don't think exists anymore, because I looked for them 2 nights in a row, and I couldn't find them.

The Eden bar on the street going down to the pier has few girls late at night, but its dirty and the girls look kind of worn out.

On 139th Street, next to the Independence Park, there is X-Club, and few others, and they do have girls at night, but the area is so shady, that I told the Grab driver to take me back to the hotel, without setting foot out, I'm not easy to scare, but something didn't felt right about it.

In the you-mall, which is a joke, very few girls, and they look underage, and most of them are accompanied by Chinese men. I tried to flirt with some waitresses, but they seem to be retarded, of course there is zero English, but they cannot understand any signs or noises, or translations from professor google. There is a fish restaurant Memo, I tried to joke about having Nemo on the menu, but I was faced with a dumb, lost, empty look from the waitress.

The online DIA also returned only 3 results, and they didn't answered back, they may be using another app, or the online scene is inexistent in the ghost city.

The massage places, are also Chinese oriented, and most posters feature bunch of asian guys crammed together in a Jacuzzi, sausage fests being their thing it appears.

I tried some websites for massage salons, but they eighter don't work, are in Chinese, or want you to install some Chinese app in order to access it.

On my last night I went to eat at Titanic, and I discovered that there is a part of town untouched by the Chinese wave of destruction, and normal people live there, but being the last night I didn't have time to explore the newly found part of the city that still alive.

I'm firm convinced that there has to be mongering action around the area, so if anybody wants to check it out, take Titanic restaurant as a reference point.

This is my take on Sihanoukville, I may be wrong, maybe I missed stuff, just like the area around Titanic, so if anybody wants to correct me, or has different info, or wants to add info, you're more than welcomed to do so.
