When you have a Dominicana who wants to please you the sex is off the charts. Sex is the only chip they have so they play it well. They seem to know that other women are waiting for a shot of what you have. On the down side most I have encountered will spend your money with no conscience. Order most expensive thing on menu if you let them. I try to keep a non pro for a couple of days so I can get my monies worth. 4 k or 5 k we usually satisfy most non hardcore girls. It is close to a months wages for normal chicas. Keep your cost down by not eating in expensive restaurants. Bottom line for a quality experience good GFE and you will not begrudge the money.

On my last trip my best experience was with an old cupid girl. We got off 4 times in a 12 hour period and each was very good. What made it good was the mutual enjoyment Sport fucking is often a crap shut. They have no motivation to make your experience good because in most cases we are 1 and done. I am very conflicted on one hand I love GFE but there is an excitement and rush I get from sport fucking. I like to combine the 2 sports but you have to get the GFE first because sport fucking creates sensory overload. I like my GFE when I am fresh and unjaded. I personally enjoy the time I spend cultivating my non pros. Whatup is very affective. Many girls understand exactly what I am looking for and are willing to enjoy the effort.

You are correct you have to watch your cost with civilians they can easily end up twice or three times as much as PFP. I go in saying I am going to spend X and if my spending approaches exceeding X then I abort just like I would for PFP. I was fortunate on my last Santiago excursion I had a civilian that cost me drinks dinner and taxi fare and some of the best sex I have had in the Dominican Republic. If I can meet a half dozen more like her I will be one HAPPY monger!

One night I took my girl to Passion night club, the premier entertainment venue in Santiago. She asked if she could bring her two brothers along, innocuously I agreed. Of course guess who's picking up the tab for the bottle of Johnny Walker Black and the after-party late night cravings at McDonalds?I am amused by your buying Johnny Walker black. But I have been in your situation. Driving a girl and her three sisters to a movie. Ice cream, popcorn + soda before at the Las Colinas mall and MCD after. The whole episode pissed me off bad. So much so that I did not push the envelope with any of the sisters, LOL. I cut the cord instead. Clearly as you stated, there is no free dinner as in ECON 101 (indeed it might be pricier) but as far as I am concerned, the quality is barely comparable. I do not have to negotiate. How many times, what is included, morning yes no and other BS. Fact is I never negotiated even the first time in Sosua but nonetheless, it is a hassle.

I am very pleased you have graduated out of Sosua and have your sense of humor along; that and the respect for the women will take you far but not, as you acknowledged, the middle class English speaking professional woman unless you speak marriage. Not my cup of tea but then I would much rather have a harem! LOL.

P.S.: Take your women to Ahi bar, around El Monumento for drinks and dance (and eating). A regular place unlike La Pasion, which I understand is for single males.

No wonder you call me before the end of your vacation ready to give Santiago the boot. If you don't give a non-pro or Chica in general a since that you are watching your money they will spend it like it's your money and you grew it on a tree. It has nothing to do with the money you were going to give her later. This is a trap many of us can experience. P4 P chicas are hoping to get a few drinks maybe a dinner and their money and leave. For some in Sosua you can have the dinner. The last time I was in that situation with the girl I wanted to fuck and her three friends and a little girl I left and never came back. I think it was the best decision I made during that vacation. I am glad you were able to reevaluate your position and learn from your mistake. Good job me amigo!

For me the "sport thing" is not advantageous because it doesn't yield long term results. My objective going forward will be planting seeds with the potential for long term relationships. My thought process includes the idea it is easier to get better sex from long term relationships as well as bring my prices down. It is not feasible for me to pay 2 k every time I want to have sex therefore just as the chicas try to long game us while will be attempting to long game them.

It is not feasible for me to pay 2 k every time I want to have sex. Also you will find that your desire to have sex will drop off a lot once the novelty has worn off. Just knowing you are surrounded by pretty girls available for small amounts if and when you want them is enough most of the time. This applies to younger, richer guys just as much as to doddering paupers like myself.

So you fell in the trap of the me and my family are going out with you for drinks.Yes, lesson learned! I do not visit a girl's house / family etc. So far one exception. In Monte Cristi and it was weird for me. Visiting a dad and mom who were closer to my age and they did not even blink.

In this specific case, I already had the girl and I thought I could check the sisters out. Indeed it was one of the older sisters that created the problem. In any case, I saw the girl a year later and she was completely chastised by the experience but then I moved on. One needs a certain turnover to keep the roster fresh. But you are right. One has to make sure they know the value of money especially other people's. However, I had other experiences wherein I gave the women my wallet and they spent as if it were their own money.

P.S. You are probably mixing me up with someone else. I have never had a PM exchange with you.

Jealous Latina women can be very dangerous. Eventually you will slip up. Some women feel intitled to hurt a cheating boy friend.

Time and time again I hear how terrible American Women are and how loving Latina's are. Remember family is critical, so if you don't love mom and dad and don't mind supporting a gaggle of freeloading brothers then don't let your emotions and little head make the decisions. Trust me, keep the relationships superficial, renting is far better than owning.

I have been to La Passion several times. It is not exclusively for single males. In fact, most of the women there are there on dates with Dominican men (or their husbands). There are certainly women there available for P4 P, but they are clearly in the minority. What makes this even more confusing is that the pros at La Passions will take you to a room - on site - like a straight forward brothel. Making matters worse is that the best looking girls there were the non-pros, who were clearly not trying to hook up. The first two times I was there, I was confused and keep trying to pick up non pros who were definitely not interested (and taken). I am lucky I did not end up assaulted.

For me, La Passions is always "plan B". If I strike out with Badoo, Tagged, picking up chicas in the square, arranging a get together with a shop girl or one of the many other ways one can get a chica in Santiago, I head out to La Passions. I have not been there in a few years, but I remember it as an expensive venue.

I am renting like you my man. You can't buy love but you sure as hell can rent lust.

I would call it a Hodge podge of night club- comedy club- lounge- hostess bar- brothel. They have a live band but between breaks they also play records and an occasional comedy skit. I was surprised when I was told that deeds could be done on-site, without even having to go to a cabaa, which there is one right next door!

Damn right it should be plan bee or plan cee. The going rates for those chicks there are between RD $4000 - $5000.

I have been to La Passion several times. Thanks for your note. I have never been there because I always thought it was a "casa" based on reports I read here. Besides, why would I ever need to go to a casa in the DR? I like the Ahi bar. Regular people and good fun to be had, eating, drinking, dancing, kissing. If you go with chick (s) and the place is nice but not pricey. In Las colinas mall, there is a disco on the third floor but I found it way too noisy. Finally, there was another place I went to, called Lovera bar, close to Hotel Ambar, on Ave. Saldhalla, which was okay. Again regular people.

Camaro's Santiago Hotel Guide.

Gentleman I am about to complete my first long term trip to the Dominican Republic. Although I now live on the north coast I plan to spend time in Santiago frequently therefore I decided to take an extensive look at the Santiago to include monger friendly hotels and the general monger scene.

This is not a complete list of all Santiago hotels just the hotels I visited during my stay. I listed the hotels in descending order according to my personal preference. Although Camp David and Hotel Holdelpa are high end hotels at close to $100.00 per night I preferred them because of their unique customer service and amenities. Neither are for the budget monger. I have not included prices on hotel rooms because they vary you can consult the hotel web sites for specific prices and availability.

Below I have listed my notes for your review.

Camp David Ranch.

Camp David is a hotel, restaurant bar that is 3000 feet above sea level which provides a picturesque view of Santiago. The view reminds me of Medellin, Colombia and I prefer both views at night with the natural night sky above and the city lights below. The property is reported to be one of the former homes of ex-President Raphael Trujillo. There are vintage vehicles on the property that are reported to have belonged to Trujillo. It should be noted there is some debate about the Trujillo report.

I have stayed at Camp David 3 times and have enjoyed each stay. It by far is my favorite hotel in Santiago and I intend to return in the future. It is out of the way because of its location but the property is quite and serine. The rooms are spacious with king size beds. The WIFI and cable work well but cell phone reception is spotty depending on where you are on the property.

Every time I have been the staff has been excellent. This hotel is on par with Hotel Odelpa and is not for the budget monger.

Camp David Restaurant.

The restaurant has great food however the view is what takes the cake for me. You can eat inside or outside on the balcony. I enjoy the view better at night. Breakfast is included in the basic rate and the dinner menu includes everything from high end lobster and seafood for 1000 pesos to low end salads for 500 pesos. You can easily drop 3000 pesos for dinner and drinks for 2.

*The one challenge about Camp David is because of its elevation it can be cool especially if you are sitting on the restaurant balcony so depending on the time of year you might need a jacket or sweater.

Hotel Hodelpa Centro Plaza. Santiago.

There are 3 other Hodelpa hotels in Santiago, the Hodelpa Centro Plaza is downtown next to Hotel Aloha Sol. These are super luxury 4 star hotels at $100.00 per night and I must admit the accommodations are excellent. The WIFI and TV work well and my room was freezing when I arrived. The room was immaculate with modern furnishings. There is an extensive mini bar which includes candy chips & alcohol.

There is also a restaurant and gym in this facility. So far this looks like the nicest Santiago hotel I have stayed in. One problem with Hotel Hodelpa Centro is it located downtown Santiago in a very busy area therefore during the day there is a lot of street noise. My other complaint would be the receptionist seemed like she had a STANK attitude when she checked me in. Pero lo que sea.

Vista Bar & Restaurant.

The Hotel Hodelpa has a restaurant on the top floor, when you arrive you see why it is called "Vista Bar & Restaurant" because it has an incredible view of Santiago including the Monument. The waiter staff was great and very attentive the menu had items that ranged from 200 pesos Sanchoco to 1500 pesos steak and seafood.

This restaurant was a definite compliment to the hotel experience. I had a date and she was as impressed as I was. Our dinner with drinks came to just over 1500 pesos. Breakfast is included with your stay which makes for a well-rounded hotel experience. '.

Hotel Platino & Casino.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Platino. My first impression was of a good hotel with small windowless rooms that had the potential to make you feel claustrophobic. On my second visit the staff showed me the different rooms and there are suites that are bigger than my apartment with living room areas and king size beds. I chose the larger room just under the suite and it was very comfortable especially the king size bed. The air-conditioner made you feel like you were in a refrigerator, the cable worked well however the WIFI was intermittent.

Hotel Platino has a very small bar and restaurant and buffet breakfast is served daily, and there is also a casino on the property.

Vitolas Cigar Club & Restaurant.

Vitolas is not a part of Hotel Platino but it is next door in the same shopping center. It deserves an honorable mention because the restaurant, food and service is excellent. In fact, dinner at Vitolas with dessert at Hotel Platino makes a perfect date in Saniago.

*It should be noted the primary reason I like Hotel Platino is because of the nexus with Vitolas they fit together like hand in glove.

Hotel Matum Casino Complex.

The Hotel Matum Casino Complex next to the Monument that is known for its freelance action. All that is required is look for women who maintain extended eye contact. I have listed the following venues on its property:

Casino.

Club Pure.

Tabu.

I checked all the venues and they were very slow but I believe I was there at the wrong time of the week. Santiago often doesn't get cranking until after 1 am.

Hotel Matum.

Hotel Matum is within walking distance of the Monument. It is a complex with hotel casino and 2 night clubs. I booked a double so if I have a guest she should be able to sign in with no charge, however extra guest are charged an extra fee. I believe this is because Hotel Matum is known for having freelancers work the casino and 2 clubs.

The room was decent and clean with good WIFI and air-conditioning. The cable was intermittent with certain channels, but then again I am not here to watch television. The hotel was dated but comfortable and centrally located.

Originally I booked for 3 nights because I was going to use the hotel as my base for Santiago and La Vega operations but the guest fee encouraged me to find another Santiago hotel option.

Hotel Matum Restaurant.

Hotel Matum has a restaurant upstairs on the second floor. It is a small restaurant with less than a dozen tables. Breakfast is included in the hotel rate. The breakfast is comida tipica with mangu salami fruit etc.

Hotel LOS Jardines.

Hotel LOS Jardines reminds me of Hotel Platino because it is a small hotel with small rooms. The staff is very friendly you a greeted by the bellboy who handles your bags and brings you a soft drink as a welcome.

The room was dated but clean and nice. There were 3 towels which is better than some hotels that don't give you enough in the event you have company. The bathroom had a closet with hangers which I have never seen before. The cable and WIFI worked well.

Hotel LOS Jardines-Las Orqudeas Resturante.

Las Orquedeas Resturante is the restaurant for Hotel LOS Jardines. It is only open in the morning for breakfast and in the afternoon and evening for dinner. There is a very light complimentary breakfast that is served; eggs sausage pancakes etc but very small portions. I usually like drinking jugo de chinola for breakfast but this time I tried jugo de tamarindo which was good although I like the flavor of chinola better.

Hotel Aloha Sol.

Aloha Sol is right around the corner from Hotel Hodelpha Centro Plaza and what a difference between night and day. Aloha Sol is a 2-3 star hotel and Hotel Hodelpha is a 4-5 star. The ambiance, staff, furniture and total experience is different. Many of the rooms in Aloha Sol do not have windows which leaves you with an incarcerated feel. The room has a small flat screen and a mini bar that just has beverages no candy chips or various types of alcohol. The room was very basic but it will get the job done.

The Aloha Sol has a small restaurant next to the lobby and complimentary breakfast is served.

Hotel Century Plaza.

Hotel Century Plaza is an upscale hotel with fancy lobby waterfalls and restaurant attached. I got a basic room that wasn't much larger than the rooms at Hotel Platino and Hotel LOS Jardines. The room was comfortable with an array of items in the mini bar including small bottles of alcohol. The cable and air-conditioning worked well. The WIFI was terrible in my room connecting and disconnecting. Apparently there was a router problem because the WIFI worked well in the lobby.

Hotel Century Plaza Restaurant.

Hotel Century Plaza has a restaurant connected and breakfast is included. I ate breakfast which was a self-serve typical Dominican breakfast with mangu, eggs, fruit and salami. I did not eat any meal in the restaurant other than breakfast but the dining room had a very elegant ambiance.

I saw several Mercedes and Range Rovers in the hotel parking lot and the clientele seemed to be people of above average means. In addition I saw a couple of elderly gentleman with strikingly gorgeous young women. I wonder what the deal was?

Aparta Hotel Jardines Metropolitanos.

The Aparta Hotel Jardines is very difficult to find because there is no signage to identify the hotel; it is in the Residential Matilde complex and you will miss it if you do not know what you are looking for.

The hotel reminded me of Apart Hotel Lormar in Puerto Plata, this is a 1 star dated property. After spending time at Hotel LOS Jardines & Hotel Matum this is a gross disappointment in appearance. The room is and studio style with a mini kitchen dining room table & chairs and a queen size bed. For me this is a place to sleep not a place to entertain company.

The WIFI and air-conditioner worked well but the remote control for the TV did not. The staff was friendly and it will have to do for 2 nights.

Aparta Hotel Jardines Metropolitanos. Restaurant.

The Aparta Hotel Jardines has breakfast included in their 2nd floor restaurant that is a very basic dining room and kitchen. When you arrive the receptionist ask you what you want for breakfast from a limited 4 item menu and it is prepared for you at a specific time. I was sleeping and someone came to my door to let me know that my breakfast was ready. The breakfast was basic Desauyno Americano and the eggs were folded like an omlet instead of scrambled well done. Breakfast was light and hit the spot.

Closing thoughts:

My favorite hotels are Camp David Ranch because of the view and the staff, Holdepa because of the appearance and restaurant and Platino because if its location and adjoining restaurant Violas. The aforementioned hotels make great date options because of what they have to offer.

My worst hotel experience was at Apart Hotel Jardines not because of the staff but after being at some of Santiago's finest hotels it just could not compare.

Although I did not bring chicas to all of the hotels I believe all are chica friendly especially if you book for 2 persons.

Depending on what your objective is in Santiago apartments might be a better option, especially if you are pursuing civilian non pros. Apartments give more or the appearance of legitimacy for date-like experiences and you can cook or have food brought in for a different vibe. There are apartments all over Santiago for different prices and can be sought out on the internet the same way you can find hotels.

Camaro's Santiago Guide March 2015.

Gentleman I have completed my first long term trip to the Dominican Republic. Although I now live on the north coast I plan to spend time in Santiago frequently, therefore I decided to take an extensive look at the Santiago to include monger friendly hotels and the general monger scene and venues. This is not a complete list of all the Santiago venues just the venues I have visited. This guide is a companion to my Santiago hotel guide, there was just entirely too much information to include in one comprehensive thread. It should be noted that Santiago is much more diverse than the information contained in this guide which only scratches the surface.

Below I have listed my notes for your review.

Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration.

On a hill overlooking Santiago the marble monument began in 1944 on the orders of ex president Rafael Trujillo. He named it the "Trujillo's Monument to Peace. " Trujillo was assassinated in 1961, after which the monument was renamed the "Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration", in remembrance of the Independence Restoration War of 1863, in which the Dominican Republic regained its independence from Spain.

The monument is absolutely beautiful at night because it is illuminated. It is the center of attraction for Santiago and also one of the primary places freelances walk the stroll after midnight.

The chica stroll Santiago.

The area around the Casino Pure and the Monument are known for street walkers of a decent caliber. Some look like PFP and others do not. I saw some 7's-8's in the area.

Calle Resturacion close to Parque El Chechas about 5 minutes from the monument is crack alley. There were a half dozen street walkers in the area mixed in with some transvestites. You can find 3's-5's in this area for 300 DOP and there was a short time hotel in the area I did not check the cost because I did not want to get out of the car. I am only reporting on this venue for intel purposes but I will pass on 300 peso chicas thank you very much.

Bella Terra Mall.

Bella Terra Mall is a multiple level mall with parts outside and parts inside with an open air feel. It was a nice mall however there were many spaces vacant which gave it a ghetto feel.

Migras Bella Terra Mall.

Migras is an outdoor venue (bar restaurant) in the entrance of the Bella Terra Mall. It has an excellent vibe the only problem would be in the event of inclement weather it would be uncomfortable. On the night I was there it was a little cool around 68 degrees but not as cool as it was in Sosua the previous week.

I absolutely love this place the staff and the food was great. They specialize in fruit drinks and other alcoholic beverages. After dark a DJ fires up the turn tables and it changes from an outdoor restaurant to a club atmosphere. There were a couple for birthday celebrations while I was there. I highly recommend this venue and I surely will return on my next visit to Santiago.

Las Colinas Mall.

Las Colinas Mall is a 3 story multifaceted mall with a Jumbo Superstore theater food court etc. I did a meet and greet there because I felt a public place was good since she was a civilian.

Novo Bar & Salad Las Colinas Mall.

Novo Bar & Salad is in the center of the mall they serve light food and drinks. The service was good and the waiter was very attentive. I had Yaroa and my date had the same and we shared the same Sprite.

Vitolas Cigar Club & Restaurant.

Vitolas is next door to Platino Hotel & Casino and has an indoor and outdoor section. I walked inside and could smell the cigar smoke so I decided to go outside in the open air section.

There was a cigar, food and drink menu. It was a laid back atmosphere and the club faced the street so you could watch the cars go by and enjoy the evening breeze. I did not try the food but the drink I had was good. This is a good date spot or a spot just to chill.

It should be noted that Vitolas and Hotel Platino go like hand and glove for dinner dates. If you know what I mean.

Ahi Bar Caf Grill.

Ahi Bar is an outdoor restaurant and bar. This is reported to be a prime location for las solteras non& semi pros. There is valet parking in a very small parking lot. There were Mercedes and Range Rovers along with less expensive Toyotas in the parking lot. There is a diverse menu to include all types of appetizers to main courses of chicken and fish. In addition the menu included comida tipico. The average menu cost was 500 pesos. You are greeted by a hostess and security guard with a shot gun. The hostess seats you and a waiter serves you.

On the night of my attendance there was karaoke with a live host. Some of the participants were quite good. There were mostly couples and I only saw a few singles the night I was there. Maybe it was me but the staff wasn't very friendly.

Puerta de Sol part 2.

I decided to take a date to Puerta de Sol which is an outdoor restaurant and bar across from the Monument. Puerta de Sol has tables and chairs along with flat screen TV's around the venue. I counted 10 flat screen TV's all dispaying different channels from sports to videos to news. There was a DJ present playing all of of the current Latin favorites Romeo Santos etc.

I noticed Range Rovers and Mercedes parked in the front along the sidewalk. I noticed mostly groups of people and couples however there were a few solteras.

The ambiance of this restaurant is excellent and the food was good also. Drinks and dinner for 2 should be between 1500-2000 pesos. The menu was diverse with seafood, chicken and steaks however I did not see any comida tipica. Although I loved the ambiance of the restaurant with its view of the Monument I found the service to be lacking. My waiter was not very attentive nor did he come across as warm or friendly. I would recommend this restaurant for its ambiance and for the experience.

Kukaramakara Restaurant.

Kukaramakara Restaurant is one of the restaurants that is on the periphery of the Monument like Puerta de Sol. You are greeted at the door by someone who seats you who is followed by a waiter. It is a western themed restaurant which the staff wearing cowboy attire to include cowboy hats boots and 6 shooters on their hips. There were pictures of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood inside the restaurant which I thought was ironic for being in a city in the Dominican Republic where maybe less than 20% of the people speak English.

In comparison to Puerto de Sol and Ahi Bar the menu is very small with only 1 page as opposed to 4 or 5 at the other restaurants. In addition most items started at 700 pesos up to 1200 pesos for seafood dishes. The menu included seafood chicken jury overpriced but I realize most things around the monument are inflated.

Lovera Bar.

The Lovera Bar is an indoor night club live entertainment venue. There is a Lovera Bar and Liquor Store that are side by side with people in front of both. There were high end Mercedes, Porches and other vehicles on the street parked in front of the club. On the night that I went I paid 300 pesos cover charge but there was live entertainment I don't know the name of the group but they were playing mostly Merengue. The venue has VIP areas around the walls and groups of tables on the floor. The stage can be used for live entertainment or for the DJ depending on the night. I did see a couple of tables with just solteras but mostly everybody in the club was coupled up.

*You might need to wear long sleeves because the air-conditioning was freezing. I am glad I was wearing a sport coat or else I would have been very uncomfortable.

22 VIP Club.

22 VIP Club is on the rooftop of Las Colinas Mall. It has a very nice ambiance inside with a very modern appearance. There was no dance floor just VIP seating around the walls and general seating on the floor. I was very slow when I was there just a group of people celebrating a birthday and a few other stragglers.

Grand Slam VIP (El Cuarto Frio).

This was a hole in the wall hood joint where everyone was packed liked sardines. Quite a few people were smoking hookah and the music was blasting reggaeton.

Everyone in there seemed to be in their early 20's and almost every chica I saw was doable 7's-8's they were young tenderonies smiling dancing and having a good time. It wasn't the most comfortable place but I loved the authentic Dominican vibe.

Passions.

Passions is off Autopista Duarte and has the appearance of a normal club despite the fact the chicas are PFP and there are rooms on site. There is a dance floor with very comfortable chairs and tables. Like most Santiago Clubs the music is very loud and for some strange reason they keep it very dark in there. You get patted down at the door and someone guides you with a flash light to a place to sit.

There was no attack of the chicas like Cristals in Puerto Plata in fact most of the chicas seemed very un-interested. There were clearly some 8's and 9's in the house but I was not interested in pulling the trigger.

*Illusions and Casa Blanca was the other casa style clubs in Santiago but they are currently closed.

Xstacy Sports Bar.

Xstacy Sports Bar is across the street from Plaza Hermanos Gomez Diaz. It is an indoor night club with a dance floor and DJ. In addition there is an outdoor balcony where I believe you can order food. When I walked in I was greeted by a wall of hookah smoke. The club reminded me a little of Classicos. There were a couple of VIP areas around the wall with people who appeared to be celebrating something. The waitresses are available for a 500 peso salida and there were also what appeared to be freelancers there also. You can negotiate with the chicas individually for their tarifa.

The women in this venue were very attractive 7's and 8's no doubt.

Plaza Hermanos Gomez Diaz Calle Espano America.

This is the premier car wash in Santiago were it is reported that drug traffickers frequent and the chicas are high end $100.00 plus. There is a car wash and a covered outdoor venue with a bar VIP areas and regular seating. Like many places hooka is very popular there.

International Car Wash- Autopista Duarte.

This is my favorite car wash in Santiago most of the women are 7's and 8's and I have met a couple of nice chicas there. There is an indoor venue and outdoor seating area. They have a dance pole where chicas dance.

In my experience it is best to get there early in the evening because after 11 pm there are so many men present it can be uncomfortable. At least for me it was.

Colonial Car Wash (La Colina Plaza) - Autopista Duarte.

This car wash is about 10 minutes from the International Car wash on the same street. On the last 2 occasions I have been here I have been unimpressed with the talent and the venue. The choicas look at you as if you are crazy. Will somebody tell me why I would spend 3 k on a woman who cannot smile and say Hello,? I felt no hospitality or customer service. In addition the chica selection was nothing to brag about.

The venue is open air with a dance floor bar and tables and chairs.

Kelvin Car Wash-Calle 27 Febrero.

This car wash was absolutely dead when I went late in the evening. I was told it is busier during the day as opposed to the other car washes that are busier at night.

Closing thoughts on Santiago.

There is plenty of PFP to be had in Santiago but it is not uncommon for tourist to pay more than 3 k for ST for decent looking women at the aforementioned venues.

Unless a venue is strictly PFP like one of the car washes tenga cuidado, many of the women you see are not PFP and you will get slapped asking "cuanto es?" You also need to be careful for couples often women are with men and it is not readily noticeable so it pays to observe first before making a move.

Taxi drivers in Santiago are generally a great resource for everything including chicas; just be aware he will be getting a cut on the front or the back end. For those who do not like to drive you can often rent taxis for 300 pesos and hour or a day rate that can range between 2-3000 pesos depending on the driver.

IMHO Santiago is a much better city for civilian non-pros than straight PFP. There are so many beautiful women there it is ridiculous however hunting requires Spanish, time and money but well worth the reward.

Conclusion.

I do not think I would want to live in Santiago because urban life can be a little too hectic for me but Santiago makes a great deviation from the laid back north coast. Santiago will be my go to place when I want to experience urban life to include fancy restaurants and hotels.

I highly recommend Santiago because it is a diverse community with much to do and see.

Couple of quick comments: Movie theaters. Santiago has several movie complexes (including Las Colinas Mall) which are always a good attraction for a chica. Just watch that she does not bring a tag along group which might render it pricey as it did in one of my experiences.

The large supermarkets, like El Central, La Sirena or El Encanto, are also good food places. Indeed the first one is open 24 hours and the prices are very decent, compared to the places around the monument which I for once, would not even venture into for the reasons you mentioned. Worth mentioning the McD right next to Hotel Aloha del Sol, smack in downtown.

One should be very wary about approaching women with "cuanto es". This is a regular town. If you say, "Hola Bella", it is fine but to think, it is Sosua could be quite dicey. As you observed, Ahi or Lovera is a place mostly for couples, I would try fishing there as chances of getting lucky re very low.

Currently in Santiago, thanks Camaro for a very detailed report. Damn dude you are an asset that's under appreciated.

Staying at a hotel near the monument. Currently at Perta del sol with Mr E and his girl and guess what? They are cool. Getting ready to hit Club Pure. It's slow for a Sunday night but I'm all in. Nothing but fine light-skinned girls here, where is the chocolate?

A dude walked in with two fine girls but he hasn't touched either one. Me and E are checking them out trying to get a tell. I thought they were working till he bought them wine and food, what kind of pimp is this? Then the girls were drinking water with wine which was strange to me. Damn she just stared me down, maybe she is in play. I'm not sweating any chicas tonight so she got to give me another green light. I'm not really trying to fuck but that can change with the right attitude. Let me put this phone down and pay attention.

30 minutes later;

Damn I might have fucked up. As we were leaving the girls looked at me like "please don't go", oh well. We hit"Pure"night club, nice club but empty. We went to the other club (Tabu) , it was packed. Santiago is weird two clubs the same and 200 feet apart and one is jam packed and the other has two people.

Let me backtrack; Earlier Mr E pulled one of his SD routines where he thinks he knows where he is going but 30 minutes later we are still lost.

Okay at club Tabu open till 6 am. They are going to test me but I like that shit. My flight out of STI is at 9 am, fuck sleep I'm on vacation. I'm rolling the dice tonight lets see what happens, seven or eleven, or snake eyes. If I crap out so what at least I took my roll. On the DL (down low) tip I think Mr E girl has some friends but she's playing it close. Shh!

Aw shit, Grownman they got a girl in here with those school teacher glasses on and you know how that shit drive me crazy,(remember Cuba Takoa night club? Only behind a hairy pussy es mas importante, Damn ISG yall got me figured out LOL. I got my money on Gogo any bets? I know me you don't just think you do, I can be charming when need be. This is actual time reporting, damn I wish I had some gum. I'm three Cuba libres in and feeling good. Okay, the school teacher girl is off limits her boyfriend just came back from the bathroom, her loss. Girl you just missed out on the best thing that was ever going to happen to you (Jerome voice).

Okay a Dominican dude just said wait, the couples will leave then it will be single girls. It's 1:18 am and you know I got my new 2 o'clock rule. Time is ticking, tick tock. Two girls quoted my friend 100 for the going rate.

Okay it looks like Gogo is taking a " L" in Santiago tonight. Sometimes It's like that for you newbies, but the night ain't over yet.

It's over! Santiago is for you if you have a girl. Dominican boys here have money to complete with American dudes and the girls are about status and money. Gogo crapped out.

Its 3;30 am at Passions Santiago, girls get naked, free admission. Many Dominican dudes but fine girls stripping. Mr E wife up in the hotel room but I'm hanging with a brother I met on the metro bus. Girls in this MF is pushing up on Dominican dudes and they act like they don't want them, can't get this shit. Santiago is a ball of confusion, I gave up fucking.

Damn its so late and we just left Passions after the Dominican dudes snachet up all the girls and kicked us out, I'm scared to look at my phone clock.

Damn it's 5:33 am and we pull up to the hotel and would you believe my school teacher just jumped into a taxi in front of the hotel sola with the boyfriend walking back into the club WTF Santiago has yet to make sense to me.

I'm now at the airport hungover, red eyed, not shaved and my clothes ain't even coordinated, but I developed some great memories for the " Old folks home". The funny part is that there are 3 guys at the airport now that caught the flight coming to the DR, and they look worse than me LOL. That's why we love the DR.

P.S.; I'm on the plane and this fine Domincana sitting next to me has taken 9 pictures of herself with her phone, social media and conceited tricks LOL.

Camaro's view of Hotel Platino & Area June 2015.

I have just completed a couple of day trips to the Hotel Platino area in Santiago. There are a plethora of lodging options when in Santiago from high end hotels and cabanas to apartment options but Hotel Platino has become one of my favorites. Below I have listed my observations of the area.

Transportation.

Now that I live in the Puerto Plata area my transportation regimen has changed. I used to take Carribe Tours or Metro to Santiago and use taxis during my excursions. For taxis you can negotiate an hourly rate between 300-500 pesos. The minimum taxi fare is 200 pesos. I spent about 1000 pesos in taxi fare per day on occasion but that is less than what I would pay to rent a car and I don't have to worry about traffic or gasoline.

Now that I have my own transportation I crunched the numbers and the cost of driving to from and around Santiago is about the same therefore going forward I will be driving. I have found that driving in Santiago is actually easier than driving in Puerto Plata because there are less motos in Santiago than Puerto Plata.

Location Avenida Estrella Sadhala, inside Plaza Platinum.

The hotel is a good location because of the nearby restaurants that not only provide good food but opportunities for good date venues or if you are bold enough to take the initiative with the wait staff or other single diners. The other reason it is a good location is because everybody knows where it is taxistas and chicas alike so there is little likelihood of getting lost.

Platino Hotel & Casino.

The Platino Hotel & Casino is in the Platinum Plaza in Santiago. I have had several different rooms from the basic room which feels like a match box to the suite which feels like a mini apartment. All rooms have refrigerators with mini bars and you pay for the items you use after you leave. The air-conditioning in all the rooms I have been in work well and in the past I have not had problems with the WIFI but now I use my Orange hotspot. Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 1 pm. On my last visit I discovered the Platino Casino had closed.

Platino Bar & Lounge.

Platino Bar & Lounge is connected to the hotel. The restaurant and casino are in the same plaza but outside the hotel. I suspect this is a favorite hotel for mongers, one morning at breakfast I saw 2 older gentlemen with younger women that were very attractive; I will let you guess what they were doing the night before.

There is a balcony and upstairs and downstairs to the venue. Breakfast is included daily and the food is descent. The restaurant also provides room service. My biggest complaint not only about the hotel but about the restaurant is that everything has a cramped feel and is small. I felt like I needed more room to maneuver where ever I was on the property.

*I will give the Platino staff their props because everyone was professional and courteous and seemed genuinely interested in customer service. It should be noted that the Platino Hotel area is approximately 5 minutes from both The Monument and Bella Terra -Mall therefore it is in a good location.

Vitolas Cigar Club & Restaurant.

Vitolas is next door to Platino Hotel and has an indoor and outdoor section. Inside there is a cigar store and bar, I walked inside and could smell the cigar smoke so I decided to go outside in the open air section. There was a cigar, food and drink menu. It was a much laid back atmosphere and the club faced the street so you could watch the cars go by and enjoy the evening breeze. The food menu varied from sandwiches to full course meals including steak and fish.

Club 22 VIP Lounge.

Club 22 VIP Lounge is in on the second floor above Vitolas Cigar Club and Restaurant. I heard the music playing when I was in Hotel Platino parking lot but I did not actually go in the club. I could see from the outside that there are 2 parts to the club the balcony that faces the street and the inside. I was busy on my last visit but on my next visit I will check out the club.

Square One Restaurant.

Square One Restaurant is a short walk from Hotel Platino, turn right as you exit the parking lot and go to the intersection on your right. The restaurant is inside the Shell gas station plaza. When you walk in you are greeted by a host and you have a waiter or waitress that takes your orders. The menu is mostly sandwiches, soups and salads generally nothing is more than 500 pesos. The staff and food is great, in fact some of the waitresses were quite attractive. One of the waitresses was so attentive that I got her number we shall see how that unfolds. This makes an inexpensive date location or meet and greet location with a great ambiance that is close to Hotel Platino.

Pontifica Universidad Catolica.

The Pontifica University is across the street from Square One Restaurant and less than a 5 minute walk from Hotel Platino. If you are in to soliciting co-eds this could be fertile ground as students can be seen coming to & fro on a regular basis.

El Carrito de Marchen.

El Carrito de Marchen is a restaurant that is less than a 5 minute walk from Hotel Platino. When you exit the Hotel Platino parking lot instead of turning right towards the University and Square One restaurant you turn left and it is a short walk on your left. The restaurant has 2 parts and open air part under a roof and inside part with air-conditioning. There are several flat screen televisions and you can face the street for a view of local traffic. The menu included sandwiches, soups and salads and nothing was more than 500 pesos. There wasn't much of a staff only one waiter who was attentive and the food was decent. This makes an inexpensive date location or meet and greet location with a great ambiance that is close to Hotel Platino.

Conclusion.

IMHO Santiago is a much better location for semi and non-pros than for pros because of the expense that is involved at the high end casas and car washes. On several occasions I have used Hotel Platino to meet my chicas and I have never had any complaints from them about the hotel or the location.

Santiago has some of the most beautiful women in the Dominican Republic therefore it is worth a stay just to explore what the city has to offer and Hotel Platino makes a great base of operations.

I read an article about this park as one of the main venues for streetgirls in Santiago. The park is a 12 minute walk west from Hotel Aloha Sol or 18 minutes for the monument. It is very easy to find using Google maps. You can find girls during daytime although peak hours are off course during the night. One woman reported sometimes she gets clients that pay as much as 2000 pesos for a session. Have anybody been there before?

On the weekends, the women are on the street in the evenings and it is a lively scenario. However, it is not something that attracted me personally. I once went to a casa there with an American and a German guy who showed me the place for the first time but it was not worth my while.

This could be a casa. Because it's called "casa Blanca night club" haha.

I stream Santiago music stations and I hear them advertised as having stripper shows and cabaas onsite.

Also live bands and such, kind of like La Pasion I guess.

These pics are from their instagram account.

Can someone on the ground (Tempo, Camaro) do a recon trip for us? Address is Carretera Santiago Licey km 4 1/2.

Santiago in between.

This last short trip, I had planned NOT to see the usual suspects at all. I mean my regular contacts, actually bar two. One was a Santiaguera. As I needed the release as I get there and another one was from Bonao, who I had not seen in a year and I invited her to Sosua. Casa valeria.

The trip did not pan out well. This trip, I had focused on flaquitas as against my usual favorites. I have had two sets of problems: two reneged on seeing me. Actually three (she came the very first day but the day after did not show up. And as you know, you are the horniest at the beginning of the trip), which really made me upset and threw my plan off the kilter. I also met two others who came to see me at Las Colinas but after a 45 minutes or so of delay and so, I gave them a little money to go back home and that was that.

I went on a trip of the countryside and often I have been lucky. This time, the place was almost dry as the Atacama (to paraphrase someone else) and I have recounted my travails in another forum here.

I had one saving grace: I had persuaded one 19 year old from Mao to see me. First she said that she would try in Santiago as her older sister had a clinical appointment. It turned out to be a dud. I went to Mao instead with the idea of seeing her and she texts saying, she has a earache and is at the doctors. That too fizzled out and I went on to Loma. Next, was the plan to see her in Mao, on my way back from Montecristi (By the way, stayed at The Chic hotel smack downtown in Monte Cristi, well appointed and with a decent restaurant but do not ask for fish and yes, I had a nice release with a new contact there. In fact a joint orgasm does not happen to me often.). She texted me the day before but the day as I was driving down towards Santiago, I did not get a single response and so, in frustration, I called it quits. I was seriously upset thinking this must be a game of some strange sort. Two days later, she re-surfaces, apologizing profusely, saying her phone had stopped functioning that day and indeed she wrote using a different phone. That of her sister. I relented and went to see her. Again, in Mao. There is a decent supermercado at Plaza Morel there. Where the cafeteria is surprisingly good. Presumably, the local well offs frequent it. What with Cappuccino etc. She showed up. We had lunch. I was famished and then as I was hoping, albeit with a bit of apprehension lest she changes her mind, she led me to a cabana. The rest was excellent and her lean and supple body was such a welcome change from the heavier women. She was very compliant as young women typically are and she had reasons to be pleased. She was all very lubricated as well. The unfortunate part was that she could not stay long enough and I had to get out of Santiago, the day after.

I am now brooding over this question. Is it better to have many potentials with a revolving door thing or is it better to settle down with a chosen few for a couple of days each time. A stay at a beach place can be fun, and gives the women a break from their day to day existence but young women living with parents (this last one does. With dad and mom for example) sometimes do not have the privilege to sneak out for multiple days. It is also nice to wake up with someone, so that they can take care of you in the morning, you all rested and whatnot!!

What do you guys think?

I am now brooding over this question. Is it better to have many potentials with a revolving door thing or is it better to settle down with a chosen few for a couple of days each time. What do you guys think?I think as a tourist, someone who doesn't live there nor able to go to the DR every month like Grownman does, our options are kind of limited. The little bit of vacation time you spend there, you don't have the luxury to just ride up and down the campo and hope to scoop up a perfect 10 GFE. Yes I certainly understand the allure of non-pro hunting. But the batting average works against us vacationers. That's why I'm of the pragmatic approach, the mongering agnosticism. It's called diversifying your portfolio! Hedging your bets! You can have a few blue chips, the Exxon's and Disney's of non -pro civilian. You may have to spend some money taking her out, treating the free-loading sisters and cousins. But you'll get good return, great GFE. These you want hold on to long term. You may even want to send her flowers on Valentine's Day.

Then you need to allocate some assets to the money market account (cash). It's safe, but it's low yield and kinda boring. Like Sosua! You'll definitely bust a nut if you go to Sosua. The down side is. Really no down side. You just busted a nut for 1500 pesos!

Then if I had the time, I'll invest in some growth stocks. DomCupid chicas are the Chinese internet stocks, the Tesla Car of mongering. Oh lord their pictures look so nice! They promise they'll give you an awesome time! When you meet them you'll either see the real deal or a bursted bubble! You can dabble in these a portion of your vacation, but don't put ALL your eggs in this basket.

Overtime, a few growth stocks here and there will become blue chips. As you spend more time in the DR, you'll probably hold more blue chips. They will inevitably take up big chunk of your portfolio. Your vacation time. But just for variety sake, and a man's got to have variety, you have to hit up Sosua. When you're getting enough GFE from your civvies, you'll just take Sosua for what it is! Why would you be disappointed if you don't get GFE there? You're filling in some sport fucking activities!

Address is Carretera Santiago Licey km 4 1/2.Whats the ig account?

What do you guys think?Self effacing, honest and informative. I will support you for "Monger of the Year" if you decide to go for it. I am presently planning a trip to DR this winter and reports like yours are very helpful. I like dark girls but abjure "fatso's". Your report gives me hope that I can have it all. Je je je.

I am in a peculiar circumstance that I would appreciate some opinions from old hands here. I live in USA and have a old lady GF (my age). I told her when we met that I spend every winter out of the country. She insists that she wants to come along. She is quite well to do and will pay her own way. I wanted to nip this nonsense in the bud so told her that my intention in DR was to bang a bunch of cute black girls. She responded that she wanted to pick up some big black guys! I have no earthly idea how this will turn out but it certainly sounds interesting. Lonely.

The bad news is, if your GF wants to pick up big black men, she'll have to stick with picking up tourists, especially if you're in a mongering town like Sosua. I didn't see many Dominican men over 5'10".

The other bad news is that this sounds like the perfect opportunity for an international incident. Unless you 2 have already been practicing some sort of open relationship, the chances of this going well are very slim.

Long ago, I was an opportunist, hanging with a group of swingers and wannabe swingers. There were 2 new couples wanting to try an overnight partner swap. One couple, both were average looking. The other couple, the guy was good looking and his wife was very attractive. One night they make the swap. The next day, average guy comes home to average wife and asks if she had a good time. She tells him it was a good night. She asks him if he enjoyed himself and he starts telling her about his night. She starts cussing him out, slaps him and a few days later files for divorce.

Now, if she was interested in sharing women with you, that would probably work, but I just don't see it working the other way. She'll have a tough time finding what she says she's looking for, while your only problem will be deciding which one you want.

You can try taking her to a local swingers club, to see how she handles this, or you can do a test before the trip. Pick a night and both of you make a date with an escort. It's much better to have a break up fight at home than in a foreign country.

But the batting average works against us vacationers. That's why I'm of the pragmatic approach, the mongering agnosticism. Great post and a very interesting analogy. I loved the expression "agnosticism". I would agree that a good mix is the smart thing to do.

Personally, and it is just personal, I have never been very fond of "how much" and all the other BS, one has to face with the typical pros and especially when the endgame remains fairly undefined. I went with such a woman in Boca chica (after a long interlude I must say) and if you read my note, she too, once inside the room starts with "this no, that no". I was going to pack her back out when she relented and said, it was a "joke".

In any case, I was wondering, given that as you say, vacation time is limited and even more so, la leche: Should I look at quality more than quantity that I have been doing. The young woman would have been fantastic for a 2-3 day romp, she was completely compliant even when I pushed the anal angle, with barely a whisper that she never did it. I of course bungled it as I did not have any lube so I let it go but the point is, the experience is so very organic rather than the mechanical check list (this yes, that no) that is the case with the known entities on the streets and bars, if you get the drift. So Sosua kind, will most likely continue to get the short shrift from me.

Self effacing, honest and informative. I will support you for "Monger of the Year" if you decide to go for it. Thanks for the flattering comments. I am in no race, indeed I do not even consider myself a "monger" LOL.

In the DR, you find white, black and various shades in between and since I am color agnostic, I go with whoever is willing to go with me (you know the expression, a man proposes and the woman disposes LOL) . I also like large breasts which is why my typical choices are heavier. And so I wanted a change this trip. I had a dark supple and lean type the first day, who for some non-understood reason failed to show up the second day. The last one was a white skinned one.

Re your girl friend's particular predilection, I am sure there are others who can fill you in on that. Apparently that is very popular in Jamaica but I am sure around the beach resort towns, that might be a good occupation for the young males in the DR as well.

You see them more in Boca Chica and Punta Cana than Sosua (every now and then). They even made 2 comedy movies about it, Sanky Panky 1 & 2. You can find them on youtube en espanol.

"A sanky-panky, or sanky, is a male sex worker, found in the Caribbean in the Dominican Republic. A sanky-panky solicits on beaches and has clients of both sexes or only women. When with men, the sanky-panky assumes an active (a. K. a. Top) role, but when with women, assumes the role of an ideal lover.

While strictly speaking they are not prostitutes, since they do not directly negotiate money for sex, they are more likely to create a pseudo-relationship which can be continued when the guest returns home. They then attempt to ask for money to be sent to them primarily by wire transfer, often using elaborate stories of need, involving (for example) sick relatives. A sanky's ultimate goal is to obtain a marriage visa to the tourist's native country, marry the tourist, then leave for areas of the country with large populations of their country persons. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanky-panky.

"In Dominican Republic, the local Genaro works in a small family store and lives with his mother in a poor neighborhood. He is learning a couple of words in English and dreams on being a sanky-panky to get married to an American tourist to move to New York with a VISA and have a better life. He calls his friend Giussepe, who is the manager of a resort in bevaro, and applies for a job position entertaining children but expecting to find a wealthy tourist. Genaro meets the gorgeous Martha, who has come from New Jersey with her fat aunts Dorothy and Helen, to forget her fianc after calling off her wedding. Genaro calls his best friends, the womanizer Chelo and the gluttonous Carlitos, to date the aunts and live him alone with Martha. Martha only speak English and Genaro just know a couple of words in English, but everything works out the way he had schemed until the day Martha's boyfriend comes to the resort. Make no mistake, you're a monger ... Mr. Goodie Two Shoes, you're a monger just like the rest of us.I think you misjudged him. I am sure he was not claiming to be morally better. He was just modestly (no doubt false-modestly) declining to claim the "professional" status of monger, with its implied criteria of expertise and sexual prowess.

But, yes, he is a monger, and a more enterprising and varied one than most here, exploring and reporting on parts of the DR which the Pedro Clisante- or Blackbeards-only crowd have never heard of.

Monger is not a very flattering piece of terminology, being short for "wh0 r3 monger", so I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to claim the title. Of course any man who has ever paid for a sex act may be described as a "monger" if you want to be rude about it.

Personally I recognize that I am from time to time willing to part with money to enjoy sexual experiences that I would not be able to get without some kind of investment on my part, but I don't want to claim mongering as a lifestyle choice that defines me, and perhaps that is what tempoecorto was talking about, nor do I make claims about "being a good monger", "taking one for the team", or expressing solidarity with others simply on the grounds that they are also mongers. It certainly can be a shared experience and a point of contact, but it does not have to be part of one's identity.

The two bus lines Metro and Caribe have their stations in Santiago on the same block so you can choose the better price or schedule as you prefer. I paid 300 Dom pesos for taxi from airport hotel to the bus station. Caribe fare is 160 pesos Santiago to Sosua. Metro is 220. Caribe leaves every hour, while Metro has only 3 buses per day, leaving at 9:15 am, 1:15 pm and 6:15 pm.

The advantage of Metro is that the Sosua stop is at the Texaco station one block from Rumba's and Pedro Clisante street. Caribe stops in Charamicos too far to walk with luggage to the hotels in El Batey (Sosua central) so you need a taxi, or motoconcho if you travel light.

Most information is available on the bus line web sites but the schedules are not entirely clear. Note that when I was waiting for the Sosua bus, the 12:30 bus to Santo Domingo waited until 1:30 and became the 1:30 and 12:30 bus due to lack of passengers.

Okay the people asked for it, so here it is. A couple of weeks ago I headed to Santiago, mainly armed with camaro's report. I went on a bad night so I think I missed out somewhat (Sunday). Still though, everything was open. I stayed at one of the casinos, room was fine but a tad bit pricey. Wifi was awful.

Started the day with a walk to the monument in the center. Wow, is all I can say. Saw a couple of absolutely stunning Dominicanas at the park. Probably 17-22 years old very beautiful and also much lighter skinned than sosua or santo Domingo. I am getting a tad old for picking up the nonpros (37), but I got the urge to move to Santiago for just the women.

From there it was time to start drinking, around 6:30 pm. So I went to the casino and the blackjack rules are fantastic. If you know who Stanford Wong is, trust me you will like gambling in Santiago. Max is three boxes of $250 USD. Some of the dealers were hot, I commenced the process of picking one up but stopped once I was warned that she will get fired. She had a sweet little body, tiny waist but curvy.

International Car wash.

Camaro's report suggested to get there early. And oh boy was he right, this place was packed by 7:30 pm. The talent varied with mainly 7's but there were a couple of 8's. Of course my main target was occupied with a fellow monger. This monger had a rental car and it was wrecked in the parking lot!! Poor guy, I hope he had insurance. But he did leave with the girl, a very pretty fake blonde petite Dominicana with fantastic natural breasts. I had to move fast so I just picked the other 8, bought a couple of drinks and took her to a nearby motel and drilled her. Solid session, solid body.

Car wash Gomez Diaz.

Tired but needed to keep up the research. Took another taxi to get here. In general the taxis were honest and all charged 150 to 250 pesos, unlike santo Domingo where I always get ripped off.

Now this is where my report deviates from Camaro. Agree with him on everything at international car wash. Gomez Diaz is a different animal. Look guys, this place is for drinking and Hookah. That's the main objective of the place. So once you understand that, it will make much more sense. The girls are free lancers. They mainly come here to wait tables and get tips. They are there for eye candy, you cannot take them out unless the place is closing (closes at 1 am). There are a few serious pros but again most of the girls are there to wait tables. Having said that, there is a strategy for this place. Arrive at 12:30 am, right before closing. Get a drink at the bar and be ready to pounce on a 9. I got a solid 9 at this place but unfortunately it set me back 4000 pesos. She was awesome though, so well worth it. And remember the girls are waiting tables and sitting around like eye candy. Don't barge in on some whale Dominican and steal his waitress. Instead sit at the bar and have the security guard ask her if she is available for take out. I would say 90% of the girls are available for takeout but don't be shocked if you are rejected. My girl checked me out first and then gave the nod. You might find some pretty girls here.

Xstacy sports bar.

I was making frequent trips between here and the Gomez Diaz carwash. All you do is cross the street. The highlight here was natural red head light skinned latina. Absolute stunner. 10/10 my friends. I never asked if she was available for takeout because I had already decided on the 9 from Gomez Diaz.

This is where I feel my report really deviates from camaro's. I went to Xstacy on a Sunday and in my opinion it is a spot for drinking and dancing. It gets rolling around 11:30 pm. I mean it's worth checking out, having a drink and maybe asking the waiter if certain girls are available. But again I didn't think the waitresses were available, honestly I think camaro just strolled in to a regular dance club and assumed everyone was available.

Passions.

I have no report. I got there too early and didn't wait. Do not show up to this place until 2 am, minimum. A lot of couples where going in at 12:30 so agree with camaro be careful about who you talked. I think it would be best for the waiter to do your dirty work.

Anyways to recap, a solid day would be International Car Wash at 6 pm. Xstacy sports bar at 11:30. Gomez Diaz car wash at 12:30, right before they close and that only time you can takeout. And then Passions at 4 am. My opinion, take it if you want.

Thanks for the report BobbyJ. The first time I visited Santiago I went to Passions the very first day with a chica I met on internet. It was a very nice nude show at 1:00 am, the girls that night were perfect 10's. Couples were dancing to live music before the nude show. The place was very dark but I had a great time there.

I spent a few days in Santiago and after RTFF I picked out Aloha Sol Hotel. Turns out its nice s since I booked only one day went downstairs to extend another and the rate was cheaper than I got online. I have to admit I wifed up and stayed with one chica for a few days. Mr. Gogo may take my Player of the year title away but I have to say it was kinda a cool feeling. She is attrative and has her own place which she took me to the second day. She said I could've stayed there instead of the hotel but I just wanted to play it safe. The city itself is nice and got to go around and see the scenes. It's a shorter route to drive to Sosua but the airfare is still cheaper to fly into SDQ. Tons of hotties all around and the monument you can't miss it. The driving is a lot better and less likely you'll hit someone like I did with Mr. Gogo in SDQ that turned out to be a cop. I did have fun but I may have to slap out of this wife thing. Time will tell.

My opinion, take it if you want.Good report! I hit international car wash and passions in May. I'll check out the car wash on Gomez xstacy sports bar next time I'm in town. Thanks for the info!

.I suspect that the flow is different at Car Wash Gomez Diaz and Xstacy Sports Bar depending on when you go. When I went to Car Wash Gomez Diaz I spoke with one of the girls who said that she was available I believe it was 6 k I don't remember exactly but it's been a while. She also advised the other girls were available but she did not give a price for the others as they are freelancers.

When I went to Xstacy I pulled a waitress. I paid 500 salida and 2500 to the waitress. On another occasion I went and there were several chicas sitting close to the door and they gave me the Classicos stare like I was fresh meat. In fact one of them stood up and did a shake a booty dance and when I ignored her she sat back down. That night I did not try to pull but from appearances it looked like there were a group of women who were available.

I think the differences in our reports may be based on day of the week and time of year. As in all things YMMV.

How are Black Americans received in Santiago. I have had no issues but Santiago has a larger proportion of light skinned Latinas. The DR is quietly a very racist country.

Actually I thought about moving there because they have some EXCELLENT apartments for around $300.00 a month. At the time I was seeing about 3 chics there even though I was living in Puerto Plata. I generally wear a polo shirt kaki's and casual shoes so nothing about me stands out. There are plenty of dark skinned people in Santiago so I think it only is painfully obvious I am a gringo when I start speaking.

It goes back 150 years when Haiti ruled the DR. It was explained to me that the father of Dominicans were European but African for Haitians. Dominicans who are darker then me believe they are white. Dominicans are proud to the children of the slave master and believe this makes them superior. I had concerns about near white Santiago chicas inter acting with me an African American. In Sosua it is not a problem but in Santiago I have concerns.

Growing up in a " Black Mecca- chocolate city) which was Washington DC where we had the majority (80 percent) and a powerful upper and middle class with black businesses and colleges. I was pro black with no dating whites as the rule. Understand this was the 70's right after segregation. The interesting change came as I went to Medellin Colombia and discovered white beauty. I then asked myself if I was going to let race limit my options. Even though most Dominicans don't have true knowledge of self would that stop me from being happy with one? I wrestled with this for years and decided race issues wouldn't decide MY happiness. We choose to make race an issue and it still resonates with me but as I've grown older I've come to look beyond that and maybe ignore it. I'm on the final leg on this long race we call life and I try to keep an open mind and not let race deny me happiness.

A lion cannot look at a tiger andask why do you hunt the way you do because the lions response will be "I am a lion and you are a tiger. " My point is mongers are similar but choose to hunt differently. I have traveled extensively outside of Sosua throughout the Island and I have seen the Dominican Republic is a fertile hunting field.

I find each area to be a little different from the other. Of course Santiago is different from Sosua it is the second largest city in Dominican Republic with a population of about 2 million where as Sosua is a small town with a population less than 50,000. There are pros and cons to hunting in both locations the issue for the monger is if they are a lion or a tiger.

When you expressed concern for racism I thought you were worried about admission into colleges or getting promoted on your job, or gaining entry into a country club. So you're just worried about chicas?! If they don't like you then move on to the next one! Under what context are you expecting to interact with these chicas? I know you're not talking about the ones in Sosua, money is all they care about. Do you plan on picking up non-pros in Santiago? Keep hitting up enough of them until you find one! And when you get rejected, it may be your color, it may be you're a foreigner, it may be the way your dressed, who knows. Remember it's their loss, not yours. Sure Santiago has a lot of light-bright-almost-white girls, but there are a lot of dark-skinned folks in the population too. I hope you're not limiting yourself to only the white girls.

Go to Pasions night club and see how you do there. Tons of white-skinned pros there available. I'd be surprised if you get turned down. But these girls are getting paid 4000 or 5000 pesos by local Dominicans. One member wrote a report few months back he got takeout for less.

I'd say in general don't worry about it. Being African American means you have cultural cool factor working for you. Hip hop, NBA, big anatomy, etc. The white chicas' parents may not want you married into their family but the young chica will go wild for you. The question "how will I do when I'm black / white / Asian in Colombia / DR / Timbuktu" will always be universally answered by the quote above, under the ISG Inc heading.

.And one more thing my Oldkski brother who forgets money trumps color and age in the DR; Haiti ever ruled Dominican Land. DR was controlled by the Spanish and had former African slaves that mixed in with the other nationalities and embraced its Spanish roots. One of the main reason why its more darker in other area of the DR is because these areas had higher concentration African slave were slave labor was used. The French had Africans slaves that rebelled against the French in only the French controlled area of Hispaniola.

Haiti ruled Dominican Republic until 1849. DR got their independence from Spain and decades later from Haiti. It's worth noting that the DR identity of independence and liberation, the country's "founding fathers" being Duarte et al, all came from freedom from Haitian rule and not Spanish rule. Not sure what atrocities were inflicted upon the Dominicans by the Haitians? Or why Spain was viewed as such a benevolent colonizer. I bring this up because I wonder how many Dominicans truly know this and subconsciously display this in their anti-Haitian attitude. For example, me and a DC chica were strolling by Parque Independencia in SD, when I told her the history she seemed incredulous (or perhaps just bored).

I think it comes down to linguistic, cultural and lifestyle differences. I remember when I went to a prep school in south Texas, mainly white kids, a few blacks, were socializing no problems with kids' whose names were Garcia, Gonzales, Hernandez, etc. Obviously these Mexican kids (first and second generation) were Americanized enough to even play high school football. Years later I see on FB among these folks a few white-Mexican married couples, but at the same time some frequent anti-illegal immigration postings.

Back to black-white skin color schisms in the DR. It's not always clear cut, as in "light-skin folks only talk to their same kinds". Perhaps in the upper echelon of ruling political and business class, but not common folks. Every chica's house I've been to, light skin girls have dark skin family members; dark skin girls have light skin family members. I don't think Santiago is any different from other DR cities.

Also a lot of shit they do seems so racially offensive to us Americans but to Dominicans it's not racist at all. Can you imagine if I walk into my office and say "hey negro / morena how's that project coming along?" Or go to Wal-Mart and say "yo Chinaman / chino give me 5 of those". This however comes natural to Dominicans. I just shook my head when a chica commented "son todos prietos" when we drove by a packed bar. What the hell did that have to do with anything? And she is half dark.

His-tory and History is why most people believed Columbus discovered America. Its true Haiti freed itself from the French on the west side island of Hispaniola; and independent criollo class Dominican allow Haiti to come in there territory it was only political purposes. They felt Haiti had a lot of wealth opportunities and they wanted to get their hand in. When that didn't work because the secret Haiti / French agreement was for Haiti to pay back France 60 million for its dependence. The Dominicans got the Haitian out of there country because having a broke ally didn't benefit them. His-tory calls it DR's Independence War. Read between the lines From Wikipedia:

The Dominican Independence War gave the Dominican Republic autonomy from Haiti on February 27,1844. Before the war, the island of Hispaniola had been united under the Haitian government for a period of 22 years when the newly independent nation was invaded by Haiti in 1822. Previously known as the Captaincy General of Santo Domingo, the criollo class within the country overthrew the Spanish crown in 1821 before unifying with Haiti a year later.

At the time Haiti had been more economically and militarily powerful and had a population 8 to 10 times larger than the former Spanish colony, having been the richest colony in the western hemisphere before the Haitian Revolution. Dominican military officers agreed to merge the newly independent nation with Haiti, as they sought for political stability under the Haitian president Jean-Pierre Boyer, and were attracted to Haiti's perceived wealth and power at the time. However, due to the Haitian government's mismanagement, heavy taxes, military disputes, and an economic crisis the Haitian government became increasingly unpopular, thus the Dominican people decided to forcefully overthrow the Haitian government with no compromises.

After winning the war and ousting the Haitian occupying force from the country, Dominican nationalists fought against a series of attempted Haitian invasions that served to consolidate their independence from 1844 to 1856. Under the command of the "emperor" Faustin Soulouque Haitian soldiers would make incessant attacks to try to gain back control of the territory, but these efforts were to no avail as the Dominicans would go on to decisively win every battle henceforth. Since then, Dominican-Haitian relations have been unstable.

Unification.

After promising his full support to several Dominican frontier governors and securing their allegiance, Boyer ceremoniously entered the country with around 10,000 soldiers in February 1822, encountering little to no opposition. On February 9, 1822, Boyer formally entered the capital city, Santo Domingo after its ephemeral independence, where he was met with enthusiasm and received by andez de seeceres who offered to him the keys of the Palace; Boyer rejected the offer saying: "I have not come into this city as a conqueror but by the will of its inhabitants". The island was thus united from "Cape Tiburon to Cape Samana in possession of one government. ".

I quoted His-tory so you can read between the lines better. From then until this day in DR its about economics. Dominicans are for Dominicans culturally. If you are a African American you are economic useful to the Dominican cultural and welcomed to an extent. If you are African Haitian well you know the deal. This is why when dark Dominicans come to me with that my brother shit I let them know: my passport say American; black people are not my brothers only Americans.

It is true Haiti freed itself from the French on the west side island of Hispaniola.Toussaint also "freed" the east of the island from Spanish rule and ruled the whole island, nominally in the name of the French Republic There was no "Haiti" then, the whole island was one country called Saint Domingue. He was not interested in the Spanish parts and largely left them to their own devices (apart from abolishing slavery) as there were not many resources there. Apart from SD and Santiago, quite small towns at the time, the area was largely unpopulated and carried on localized ranching and logging. His only interest in occupying the east was to stop it being used as a backdoor for an invasion to restore slavery. In fact, when Napoleon's huge army arrived to restore slavery, the French fleet arrived at Samana so Toussaint's fears were justified.

How could Dominicans (who were heavily out number by millions) isolate the Haitian to the smaller part of the country? Could it be the same people they wanted to prevent reconquest or invasions were actually their allies and supply the resources. Haiti knew it a stayed in it place. I have spent some time including food at the restaurant by the gas station in front of PUCMM but never seen one SW that I can think of. Beyond PUCMM, going towards Utesa, there are barrios on the right side, where if one has the chutzpah, can explore but by the autopista? Of course I am not a resident so it is plausible that I have missed that.

I Went back and checked the map. Autopista Duarte traveling from Santiago to Santo Domingo. There are elevated lanes over the entry underpass to Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre why Maestra. PUCMM. Exit Gate # 2 exits to an access road running parallel to the autopista. The access road and freeway are separated by a galvanized metal fence as cars generally will not stop. That said, there are several streetlamps and the girls stand dressed to the role beneath them after about 7-8 PM nightly. I prefer the access road for safety. If you stop and wave they will come to your passenger window and compete. I prefer a car job but here haven't found a place outside an Aparta Hotel close enough to arrange for service and return. Still working those details.

I've attached a link to a map. The pickup location is almost to the exact spot where the road changes from yellow to orange.

I rarely use those as when I catch the highway south, I mostly turn towards PUCMM, right after the Monument (Saldhalla as you rightly mention) and the road later connects to the autopista, after UTESA, as you veer left (Av Hispanoamericana). As a result, I have not been to the areas you describe, and certainly not during the hours you speak of, reason perhaps why I have not seen these women.

The information you left, in terms of map and specific location, could be helpful to those that go for the bar around the airport (the name eludes me) and the car washes.

I found two girls on the Autopista Side at a different location. The streets are not marked, no addresses, so landmarks are key. But if you follow Sadhalla to RD1, take a right on the access road as you indicated, there is an immediate turn Right down to the PUCMM gate. Two consecutive days now I've seen girls standing on the sidwalk literally on the triangle formed by the road going to SDO and turning right to PUCMM. Really flaunting their wares in leather hot pants.

Wanted to turn back around.

Still looking for recommendations.Yes, it was Pasion, the name that had eluded me previously. In any case, I have not been to that or other similar locales. I spend a good percentage of my time in the DR, in Santiago but I start the ball rolling long before I get there and so have had no need to look for others, for years, and hence no recommendations. I have taken women, to, AHI bar or to Lovera but neither of them are "pick up" places. Others may give you heads up on several car washes (again never been to those) or you may already know them, given your residence there.

Being familiar with the area is helpful. Really flaunting their wares in leather hot pants.
.That's across from Hotel Platino right?

I hit the Santiago mall again today. More people came out I the mall during the later hours. I wish my man Mr. G was here to people watch with me. It's so eye pleasing. Right now we're cruising through the city watching all the nightlife. Very entertaining. As much as I hate it; we decided to go towards Santo Domingo Boca Chica.

I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks.Have spent a night there with my sweetheart and found it to be reasonably priced but distant from the city. The draw is the view from above the city and the cooler mountain breezes. Food is good with a more diverse menu than some restaurants in town but nothing to really crow about. Except they had lamb on the menu which was cause to return. I might suggest you check several web sites and call for rates prior to pre-booking which in our case required advance payment. Also, most hotels in DR are todo incluido. But I don't recall that including meals on our last visit as the restaurant is a la carta.

Sounds good where is it and what's the name?Cleaner, cheaper than the RD520 asked for in town and better furnished. My chica suggested I go there rather than nearby Horus which is overpriced. Disadvantage is that you 'll have to continue on the next you-turn on the way to SDO and loop back. There is only one entrance on RD 1 so slow down as you approach the light on the return trip.

Had to make a run to nearby Bravo and swung by to check out the chicken coop on the way back to the barn. There were about 12 chicas on the autopista just east of Estrella-Sadhala at the down ramp to PUCMM. I thought they were all waiting for the concho but three girls made it clear they were all waiting for a Saturday night rendevouz. Competition is up tonight and offers were as low as RD1000 for FS. I had concerns one or two of them were [CodeWord902] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord902) so declined and moved on. But now I know the chicken coop has moved more toward the traffic lights at Sadhalla.

My regular UTR was out of town when I called for some of her special aspirin. But this time she gave me a New Year's gift and apologized for not taking care of me and introduced me to another sweet girl. A fine dreamer who is tight and with incredible riding skills, especially reversed. I am incredibly difficult to get to nut and try as she could. Almost six times with good breaks between. Just couldn't make it happen. But a definite future call that with some good training will empty the nut quickly and efficiently.

She was recommended following a casual conversation overheard by my UTR who privately suggested that if she was willing, she could introduce her to a nice American guy. You know the story! First time as an escort and not at all disappointing.

Still looking for recommendations from other brothers to build a private clearing house.

Had a date with a new UTR this afternoon that turned out to be a total waste of time. Seems like another monger's assessment that chicas tend to be late for their dates is true. WhatsApp seems to be the preferred way to text back and forth so it didn't take long for the excuses to start flowing in. An hour and a half later and a message that our date will have to be short followed. Problem was that it was already 30 minutes before break time. Message received. Just went home.

Got a message this morning that she really needed to see me. Was I angry with her?

No, I'm not answering your texts because I'm overjoyed with the success of our date yesterday. In fact, I probably will not text you again. I could have had a better deal and used the time wasted for another distraction.

Is this normal to-be-expected behavior from Dominicans?

Is this normal to-be-expected behavior from Dominicans?Yes. Not just putas, but workmen, employees, store staff, etc. Very few have any concept of honor, responsibility, truthfulness, punctuality, or customer service.

Experienced ex-pats all arrive at a zero-tolerance policy eventually. Some start with it. Softies like me take years to get there.

You may miss out on two or three good lays, but it will pay off further down the line. Communities like Sosua, Boca Chica, (and even Puerto Plata which is eight times the size of Sosua), are tight-knit and the chicas soon learn which gringos are the pendejos who can be messed about or who overpay.

I guess it would be harder to draw a line in the sand in Santo Domingo, and impossible with internet dates.

I mentioned to my regular UTR that she was asking more now then when we first met. She wasn't at all happy with me when I reminded her of that and concluded that if she didn't get it under control I would just have to find someone more appreciative of my time. She didn't contact me for about four days and has returned singing a new tun. I think they see all Americans filthy rich and everyone pays 200-50 for an all-night. Pull the money back and regain control.

I guess it would be harder to draw a line in the sand in Santo Domingo, and impossible with internet dates.Actually, in Santo Domingo and Internet dates, paying what you want is very easy if you stay focused on the deal and not the girl. I'm in Santo Domingo and I have an entire range of booty girls that want between 1000 and 3000 pesos a visit. I choose my booty call girl based on the price I want to pay. Right now all my 2000 - 3000 pesos girls are on the shelf. Why? Competition. One of my booty call girls just offered up four of her friends for 1500 pesos a visit. I don't argue prices. I shop around.

I stay in aparthotels in both Puerto Plata and Santiago. The one in Santiago my friend was actually living in and paying by the month before he moved to the Philippines. They come complete with kitchens and all. The one in Puerto Plata I pay 1500 pesos for and the one in the Los Pepines section of Santiago costs 1000 pesos. I will say though that the one in Santiago you have to call downstairs to the desk to get them to turn on the hot water. Also they turn the air conditioner off by master switch during the morning hours.

Last week when I was in Santiago, I went along that piece along the autopista you spoke of, as I was curious and also because that is a piece of road I rarely do. I did not expect anyone as it was about 9.00 PM, but there were three women close to where the street bifurcates. One to go down towards PUCMM second gate. I stopped and spoke with the women, 1000 pesos plus cabana etc, but none caught my fancy. Living there, you should have a lot more options I would think.

I asked her up to my room, gave her 200 pesos, the passage is about 50 pesos return and let her go. A second woman, who I met the first time, came to my hotel and was too interested in other stuff as against stuff I was interested in. She had 30 minutes during her lunch break (she works in a close by store). So that one too, I decided to shake off, after she came to the room and without any money. Got in late and went straight where FlbMac described. Sure enought there were about 7 SWs hanging around. Picked up a skinny chica and off we went. Hit a cabana called Villas del sol. 595 rsd. She was GFE. Spoke to her for a bit and did the ahuh I understand, your hair is lovely blah blah blah and she was wet. 1500 rsd. As I am there I told her to call and see if I can stay till morning and the front said said sure for another 100 rsd. Cool! Made it clear I will be in and out a few times. I took her back after 2 hrs and it was about 1 am. Her friends were gone so there is a time here where they punch out. Dropped her off and went to Matum to change bills. 1-45 exchange. There were a few putas in the casino but I need to get some grub. Ate and then cruised down Sahdalla till I hit 30 de Marzo. Went over the bridge and there were 4 SWs hanging there. I didn'tlike any in particular but one stood out. You can tell back in the day she was a hottie. Struck a conversation with her and she said 1000 rsd and you can do whatever. OK! Took her back to the pad and she got a drink. All these chicks will either want a drink or half a pack of stogies. I hit it and then I was done. Told her lets go but she wanted to stay. Nope! I had a mission the next day and told her next time.

When I got back from Sosua I hooked up with my boy in Santiago and drove to a few places in town. One place I wanted to see was Valencia park mentioned in this forum. The area is straight up ghetto. He told me they will rob you there. One guy took a haitain to the hotel there across from the park and robbed him with two other dudes so aviod the area. At night did the same and saw my skinny girl with some others. Took her friend rosa a nice young MILF and off we went. Chilled with her till 2 am and took her back. Want to thank FlbMac for the good intel.

Glad to hear that Sabor affirmed my report about a prime SW location. Temoecorto is spot on with how easy it is not to rely on SWs; however, my personal observation is that they are less needy of both time and money. Tap and go!

There are some hot chicas that hang there. And if want the thrill of checking out the merchandise beforehand, park down Estrella Sadhala a ways and walk back to the corner of Sadhalla and the autopista. Grab a seat on the 4 ft high wall there and watch them roll out of the conchos as they come to work. They dress to let you know who they are. A smile and head motion caught my dream last night. An easy 1000 "todo incluido" before she went to stand with the competition about 150 yards away.

An observation for others interested in this area. You can drive by and check out the merchandise first, and then have to continue down the autopista to the first traffic light, do a you-turn but stay in the right lane to head back to the strumpet zone. You can also take the PUCMM exit on the right and pull up the cement staircase that connects you to the autopista. The chicas hang at the top but keep a watchful eye for clients at the bottom.

It was an easy scoop-up with full satisfying service.

Not in a land so blessed. Just my idiosyncrasy.OK, so we agree on the logic. That said, I am the first to admit I got taken. An old monger like myself should know better, but so the rest learn from my experience. I found three ladies this evening spaced an hour apart. Service requested and agreed to was for bjcim. However, once at the cabana it was interesting to note the request for beer, telephone cards, and even a disposable razor. For others, don't let the chica have access to your room phone as she will order and charge it to you. Those are not expensive items, but it's the idea they'll squeeze you for all.

So, Temposcorto wins on this one. There are plenty of chicas and SWs tend to have a specific and undesirable needs less desirable than the plethora of other available chicas.

Temposcorto wins on this one.

Cheers brother.

If not on a shoe string budget, you can try Hotel Matum. Next to the monument. It has a casino etc.

I met a DC Chica there at checking to avoid the "guest fee" of $20. One thing I have to say about the quality of Chicas in Santiago. WOW. I only had one night there at the disco in the casino but the quality certainly has passed what is available in Sosua. However; the vast majority of these chicas are not P4P (although enough certainly are such). My next trip I will certainly be reducing Sosua time in favor of Santiago time. Better quality of chicas, less of the Sosua hustle, more of a GFE experience. I am sure every disco is differently but if they are P4P after making eye contact they will approach you asking if you would like a chica for the night. Also, the ability to speak a little Spanish makes a huge difference; now, if only I could dance.

I don't usually hang in that area because it's out of the way for me, but I had a chance this last week to drop one of my regulars off there at almost the same spot I made a drop off almost 18 months ago.

Hotel Matum and casino is located just after you take the Estrella Sadhala overpass on Autopista 1 from Santo Domingo and just before you approach Monumento a LOS heroes. The highway name changes to Av Las Carerras. This is a four lane highway with a division between the two north and south lanes that is usually a pretty active local eateries. You can make a safe you-turn at this point over to the lanes returning to Santo Domingo.

I was impressed with the number of chicas standing on this south lane sidewalk about 8:30 this last Friday. The number of cars pulling onto the curb was a clear indicator they were trolling for business. So, this is a second spot for local pickups at reasonable and negotiable rates.

I didn't partake, but wondering if others in this forum can expand on both Hotel Matum and activity in this area?

I like what I read about it, from Camaro and online. Does anyone know if it's chica-friendly?I live here in Santiago and have a preference for the Hodelpa brand. You need to be more clear about your request for chica friendly locations. I summise something has happened here in DR as the Hodelpa front desk clerks are meticulous about checking out the cedula or passport. I personally hate the practice but understand that the desk staff will hold the cedula or passport if there are any issues with a chica in your room. And it is also not uncommon if the chica comes to the front desk to request the card on departure the front desk will call the room and ask how you stay has been. You missing anything, any problems, etc. That means they will call the police and give the card to them if you don't accompany why our guest to the front desk or clear them. For overnight guests or a short visit from the casino girls, it's a great security practice. Since the girls don't want that their card withheld or given to the police, you can pretty much count on a nice time without any concerns.

Now the practice can also be a hassle if you just happen to be traveling with a family member. My wife and daughter go berserk when they ask for their card because the practice makes them feel like the hotel sees them as a streetwalker.

HOdelpa Gran Almirante is a favorite of the Hodelpa brand. It's a little pricey. Want to have a good show then go down to the lobby area and grab a seat before the casino opens. The chicas hang around the front door and in the lobby hoping someone will escort them into the casino. Free buffet and they can get a drink, negotiate some cash to gamble and can go through the guest only door at the back of the casino as there is often no cedula check ro required if security is not there. I always go through the front entrance, and if there are objections, well, adios.

The girls in the lobby usually dress very elegantly in apparent expensive wardrobes. If you want to P4P you are going to be talking about a higher rate as expectations are usually an all-night party.

For me when I want some discrete time, I just give the security guard at the front door a nice tip and ask if he has a suggestion. They know who the problem babies are and can keep you safe at a reasonable P4P rate.

Smooth sailing and let us all know how it went.

Cheers.

Cheers. Thanks for the detailed response! By "chica-friendly" I mean that the hotel will allow guests with a cedula. That's what I became accustomed to in SD and other areas of the DR.

Are you recommending Hodelpa Gran Almirante over the centro location? I am traveling alone. Just 3 nights. And wanted to be near things.

Centro is in "downtown" and subject to the hustle of the city. I cannot vouch for security in the evenings or for parking if you are driving. There is plenty of parking at Almirante.

You have an advantage if you speak Spanish. I am probably at about a 30% testing level, so am comfortable taking the local conchos to get around.

PM me with more details of your plans and I can offer more a more detailed response.

Centro is in "downtown" and subject to the hustle of the city. I cannot vouch for security in the evenings or for parking if you are driving. I cannot think of any reason why el centro would pose a security risk. I walk those streets regularly and some much worse ones without ever facing an issue even at very late night. Of course I am a dark skinned guy and so may not stand out as a "potential". The beauty of the center is evident during daytime, people and shopping all around what with McD and Pizza Hut right there should one get bored with local fare. My personal favorite is Hotel Aloha del sol on Calle de Sol (main drag) also because it should be cheaper than Hodelpa and has their own parking spots as should Hodelpa centro.

The second Hodelpa is far out in the boondocks, next to the airport best for the airline staff. The Almirante is definitely a different class (and obscenely pricey in a place where average people make 6-8 K pesos a month) but is terrible location-wise, with a busy traffic-jammed road smack in front. I am also bored by casinos but both the hotels on the main drag have casinos as well, should one fancy such stuff.

Thank you.If you arrive early, you can take a cab to the Caribe Tours bus stop and buy tickets for Sosua. The bus is very cheap. Cab, guessing would be $25 US.

You may be able to change dollars at the bus stop, but not sure what time the place opens.

You can check the schedule online, not sure when the first buses leave.

Last option, a taxi to Sosua from Santiago would be close to $150 US.

Arriving at 5:00, you can relax, get a leisurely breakfast in the airport, then continue by taxi and bus, but what time can you check in to your hotel in Sosua? I would go to a cabana near the airport and sleep until midday.

I once missed a connecting flight due to American Airlines usual incompetence, and had to to swap to a flight to STI from my intended POP.

Arrived around 9 pm. A taxi that night cost me about $125 to the POP area. I estimated Sosua would be about $150.

If one arrives in the morning, the bus is the better option, but if for some reason a cab was needed, I presume one's position for negotiating a price would be a lot stronger early in the day, when other options are available, versus a late night cab ride.

At night, there was no bus option, so it was a cab or spending the first of my five nights in Santiago.

My cousin and I will be flying in on the 21st into Santiago at 5 am. By the time, you pick up your luggage and granted that the flight is not late, which happens more often than not, you are getting there at an excellent hour. As someone has stated, in the morning the availability of taxi to Sosua is higher which increases your negotiating power and should you want to pay in US dollars, I once negotiated $80 and that was for a night ride. Indeed 3500-4000 pesos as suggested here, are a most likely price during the morning hours. The present exchange rate is 45.60 pesos to a dollar.

If you wish to take the bus to Sosua on the other hand, again, morning is a great time. Take a taxi to bus station ($25) - either Caribe Express that has more frequent services (and has a currency exchange office on its premises) but drops you a few miles out of sosua, or Metro which has fewer rides but takes you smack into Sosua. Both Caribe and Metro are practically next to each other at the Bus station area in Santiago.

Last option, a taxi to Sosua from Santiago would be close to $150 US.Cab fares are under pressure here in sSantiago to drop due to the introduction of a Uber-style cab system. We took a can last Thursday to the airport for 700RD. I have never paid more than that, so suspect if you tell the driver you want to go to Caribe Tours it would never exceed 1000RD. That is not to say they won't try for more, but an empty cab at the end of a line will jump if they think you will just use another cab. They are having trouble filling cabs with passengers so negotiate.

Busses leave Caribe On the half HR starting at 830 for 160 pesos each way. Just under $30. A competitor line is Metro bus which is slightly higher and offers a more business class clientel.

However, this is more appropriate for someone that travels light and is familiar with the territory. Just some questions. Is Gran Almirante the largest Casino in town and does it have a good selection of chicas all nights of the week? If so its a one stop shop for me and I won't mind the price.

Do the Centro hotels (Aloha Del sol or other Hodelpa) also have chicas on site or any around the area streetwalkers etc. I know I should read the forum more.

You mentioned Almirante Casino opens at night. Are there any open during the day? If I remember right Matum was open during the day.

To give credit where credit is due, this is a great report on Santiago hotels. Hodelpa Centro is my choice after reading this and Jaosousa's reports from 2012. Camp David looks great but looks a little distant.

And FlbMac31's responses on PM makes me really looking forward to my STI trip. Thanks man.

I live just a few blocks from Century Plaza; but family are in and out of there too often to maintain any kind of discretion. That's why I prefer to go a little further out of town on the autopista.

I have thought about some trips out to La Vega but have not seen any reviews for the area.

I went to eat and took those first two photos and on the way back, asked the driver to drop me before I got to my hotel. It was about 9.15 and quiet and beautiful with those glowing yellow light. Somewhat eerie in a "centro" so full of people during the day. I posted the picture also to state that the "danger" at night might be merely a "perceived" danger.

I am particularly fond of chivo (goat meat) but it is expensive. I can get it in a few restaurants but it is all frozen and tasteless meat. I asked a young lady to cook it and gave her money. She made it at home (with 4 pounds at 180 pesos a pound) that was enough for her mom and brother as well. She brought the stuff to the hotel and I had bought some steamed rice to go with it plus water and a fruit juice for her. Had a great lunch, followed by a short siesta and then some languorous sex. It is 94 degrees outside. She just left. God bless the Island and its inhabitants.

Goat meat is quite cheap in Florida, but has a lot of bones and fat and comes from Australia, of all places. I wonder whether the goat meat in supermarkets in the DR is local or imported. You would think it would be local, but you can never be sure these days. 180 pesos per pound is pretty expensive if it includes a lot of bone, not so bad if it is all lean meat. Goat meat is very tasty, when you can get it done right. I quite like the Jamaican curried "go-ut", but the Dominican stewed goat with wine sauce is good too. Mannish water is also a form of goat soup from Jamaica that is supposed to have an aphrodisiac effect. It should be effective for old goats everywhere.

While in other countries it is widely used in cakes, tarts, sauces, creme, flambees. Dominicans don't. Here in Bocachica the Ole does not sell it and one gets it at the local butcher. They are native to island and driving in the country side you see plenty of them. I remember that in NY you could by leg steaks with just the bone in the center and 0 fat,.

I've tried to get a few of the girls to meet up early in the day before they head to work. You get a clear feeling that they are terrified to do so for fear of upsetting the bar owner. Did you say Carwash? I must ask. Carwash? Without a car there would I walk into a carwash and say "Give me the deluxe wash Please".Because of the prevalence of dirt roads and poorly maintained highways, plus the cheap cost of unskilled labor, car washes are ubiquitous in the DR. Because of the heat, customers like a drink while they are waiting for their car to be washed, and so the car washes became social centers and traditonal places to pick up chicas, whether on the staff or just hanging. Less so in the tourist areas though.

When I first came to the DR nine years ago, Ojilvy's Car Wash in Pto Pta was a famous pick-up place for working and 'straight' girls. No longer. There were (are still?) two car washes in Sosua but I do not think either of them were noted pick-up places.

Kelvin's was a famous car wash in Santiago. It might still be worth a look if you are in town. Staff are not normally allowed to leave on "salida" like in some bars, so you would need to arrange to meet after working hours.

Why are you keen to go to Santiago? It is hard work there for newbie mongers.

Many Dominicans are not "highly" literate (not unlike some on this forum for whom the expression RTFF has been coined, presumably) and hence they normally do not gravitate towards the written word, on paper or on the new media such as craig's list, to hawk their wares. This trip, I landed at SDQ and as such had to come back to SDQ to fly back and decided to take a rather tortured route and driving in the heat and boy, was it hot!

The fun thing about driving through small roads in that land is that there are always things that can prove to be interesting which mostly it is not on the highways. Nonetheless I had promised myself I would do the road that connects Nagua to Santo Domingo, which turned out to be boring and expensive with three idiotic toll booths. I paid a total of 600 + pesos I think in three installments, not to speak of an additional and final 50 pesos or so, on the way to Boca chica once on the main highway from SDQ going east.

Thanks to Waze, I did some routes that I would never have thought of doing, from Boca Chica to Santiago. The highway was jammed at about middle of the day but waze took me to get out of the highway once I crossed the Ozama river and directed me to the north on some crummy road ultimately delivering me to the highway to get out of the city. I did not have anything remarkable to report except jumping up regularly because all the idiots there believe deeply in using the klaxon!

Spent three days in Santiago and had seven people visit me during that time. Had a very disappointing session with someone new while she did okay with sucking, she had some issue with the other matter which did not sit well with me. I told her to get dressed and go back home. She was new to this and came from Navarrete and I am hoping by next trip, she would come around. As usual, after that event, I was horny and so finally got someone to come down from Moca. The thing with regulars, is that even sex get to be routine after a while, there is nothing like taming a new impala.

Last morning, before I left town, a woman who was very pregnant came to see me. This would be her first child, dad disappeared. I already know her, indeed it was the third time I see her. I did not have any plan to see her knowing that most likely she would be in the hospital for delivery. As it so happened, she gave birth three days later. All good.

I drove out of Santiago for a two day stay at Sosua. At Navarrete, taking the road off the highway, I see a woman waiting at the bus stand. I offered her a ride. About 5 minutes down the road, she was sucking. Unfortunately, I still had not recuperated after my liaison with the pregnant woman and so sucking did not get to a "grand finale". We then proceeded towards Puerto Plata and she got off somewhere around where they sell fish. A mom of 22 , we had a pleasant ride together, sharing a beer during the ride. I gave her 500 pesos, she did not have any money on her as she said.

Once I got settled down in Sosua hotel, I went for food as I did not have any. Went to Stefano's which is right next to the very busy colmado about where bar bologna is. The food is genuine and excellent and without fancy pricing. I urge the food aficionados here to try him out. Nothing happened that night in that I did not have much libido. I drove around Pedro Clissante at around 11 PM, and saw a huge crowd at the disco place upstairs, waiting to go in. This was a Friday night. The other sad news is that the Jamaican restaurant on Romanoff premises had practically shuttered so no curried goat and steamed rice this time.

The next morning after breakfast, I was wondering what to do. The problem with me is that, I really have no interest in picking up women who are actively seeking business which of course abound in Sosua. Went around the town couple of times but did not see anything. Went for lunch at Stefano, who had made an excellent Minestrone, followed by an espresso and a cigar. By 2 PM, I was done and was feeling the need which led me to go out driving again. It was bloody hot by that time and was getting ready to get back when I saw something that caught my attention. Long story short, after about half an hour of effort, I brought her to my place. She is of Haitian origin but born in the DR, very smart and interestingly spoke some English with me when she realized by my accent that I am not a local. I really liked her and given that she was new, it had a certain charm even though she did not or would not do things that I wanted. In any case, I asked her to visit me the day after, a Sunday, prior to my departure. She promised and indeed she visited me the next morning, and we had two goes in quick succession. This is what I mean by good sex, that happens once in a while because the girl is able to kindle the fire. Prior to my leaving, I introduced her to Stefano, who I hope will invite her to visit.

I took the road towards Nagua at around 12 noon. As usual it was hot but beautifully sunny. I had a long trip ahead of me but I was hoping the drive would be interspersed with eventful distractions. Nada! The only thing that could have happened was when I intercepted two women the one I was interested in was not interested and the other was. This was a pueblo (Rio Piedra? And so I had to be careful as everyone knows everyone else. I suggested that we go to this nice cove I had passed by earlier and have a chilled beer. She asked me to follow while she and her friend rode on a moto. I lost interest as I wanted them to hop on to my car. Looking back, I should have followed them who know I could have gotten lucky. As it happens the rest of the ride, what with rain and yawningly boring highway, was a drag.

Boca Chica: I went and looked for the RIG hotel this time which has the good thing that there is no one to check who you are bringing in but the place was not functional. Anyway, the room is nice and the balcony on Duarte is nice too if you could stand the heat. The hotel is right opposite Manolo. $28 +18%.

The next day, I explored Andres in my car quite a bit. Thought I had got lucky with two but both of them turned out to be "not first time". So I had to pick up the food tab but then was left holding the bag. As it happened, both went to University. Just my luck! I did bring in one woman from the street during the daytime nothing to write home about. Had excellent food in three different Italian restaurants, Sal why Agua, the one right next to it was even better with a seafood pasta, and a third restaurant on the opposite side, next to Claro. Had a steamed whole fish. By the way, I must mention that the barbecued pork ribs in Santiago was another major satisfaction.

Overall, the trip was so so, as there was very little real excitement that comes with the unexpected, barring the young woman in Sosua. Certainly, not having anyone in the south that can relieve the pressure immediately after landing was a dampener that gave me some grief. I will post some picture separately. No titillating toticos though, sorry! LOL.

It confuses me that you say you like inexperienced or not looking for date girls but you chose to spend two days in Sousa. What did you think you were going to find in Sosua? He clearly states that he was looking for good food, and has stated the same in other earlier posts, and his report supports that as it mentions several restaurants and meals consumed. Anyway, you can find some girls who would meet those requirements around Sosua and surrounding area, especially if you have a car. For example, you could easily stay in the hotel in Sosua, enjoy the restaurants and make sorties out to Montellano, Cabarete, Puerto Plata, Sabaneta, and so on. And in fact he did find a girl who met his requirements in Sosua.

Also, he says he had promised himself that he would drive the route from Nagua to Santo Domingo, so starting from Sosua on the last day on the north coast would encompass that.

Hope you are a bit less confused now.

Indeed, this woman lives with her family in Montellano! The problem is that to find that "rough diamond", one has to have patience and even then one may not get lucky. That hard luck bit happens to me often, with two in Boca Chica on this trip itself. Of course, for me, the attraction of Sosua, not unlike you and some others, is also the small town vibe, proximity of everything (though it was hard to walk in 100+ degrees this time) and the beach!

Just returning home from a 45-day hiatus stateside. When I left there was a lot of discussion about Pasion Night club being closed or now with limited service? Any update? Any discussion in the forum about where the hungry ladies went?

What's up fellas! I'll be spending a few days in Santiago in November. Possible Oct as wel depending on how things work out. Here's what I have this far. I'd appreciate any added info.

Afternoon early evening. Kelvins car wash, colmado near ahi bar. Xstacy sports bar, migras en bella Terra mall.

Later. Soho, level, lovera, area around monument, car wash Gomez diaz, car wash international.

Any input will be appreciated. I won't have a car so I won't hit the hoe stroll. Gracias!

I only know Lovera which is a regular club (like Ahi but Ahi has a restaurant) and works at night. You do not go fishing there as there are no unattached females unless there are a bunch of girls accompanying one or two males.

Colmado hear Ahi: not sure which one but the one in the corner of las carreras is a regular watering hole for the locals. I met some chicks (high maintenance being from NYC) a couple of years ago but it did not pan out. The rest of the places, especially the car washes, I have no personal knowledge of. I have read here that the casino at the Hotel Matum near el monumento has women.

Landed in STI around 7:15 pm (19:15 for you International folks), was greeted by the longest freaking immigration line ever. Took over 45 minutes to get through! Then another 45 minutes at the Hertz rental car counter, to dicker over the guy's up-charging me for all sorts of shit, and for him to finally deliver the car. It was my friend's maiden voyage to the DR and no doubt he got the proper DR greetings.

First thing we did was go hit La Colonia car wash, the closest one to the airport on the way to city center. There were about a dozen girls there, and certainly some hot ones. Waiter said if we saw anything we liked just let him know. We didn't partake and moved on. It was more of a recon mission as we haven't picked a hotel yet. Drove to Platino, the lot was the fullest I've seen -- receptionist was quoting me $83 for a room as the cheaper ones were all sold out. Moved on to Hotel LOS Jardines, got much more reasonable rooms at $56 each, and bigger than Platino's -- with windows too!

Rested up and hit Matum casino around midnight. Damn some of the dealers and waitresses are off the chain smoking HOT! Especially the floor hostess with a huge ass in a miniskirt!! While my friend was playing Black Jack I took a stroll around the floor and outside as well. I chatted up a cute SW right out front, I declined to take her because the night was still young. In an hour my friend doubled his money and we continued our prowl. No sooner did we start driving away, three hot bubble ass chicks (one in near-see-thru yoga pants) got out of their parked car -- they were walking into Club Tabu (part of the Matum complex). Oops I didn't scope out this spot earlier because the parking lot was empty but now it was full! Mental note: got to come back here.

Drove to Plaza Gomez Diaz around 1:45 am (1:45 to you International folks) place was lights out -- closed. Drove across the street to Ecstasy, no sooner did we order our beer the DJ put on Michael Jackson's Billie Jean -- the universal DJ move to say it's closing time! This club is more for the younger, not-as-spectacularly-put-together girls. I got the number of one of the girls -- turned out she's Venezolana. She didn't ask and even though I tried to steer the conversation that way, P4 P option never came up. Perhaps I'll hit her up later.

Made our final stop at Pasion. Yes this place is very much back open. However since it wasn't the weekend the crowd wasn't as big as the last time I went, and the working girls were a lot more aggressive. No sooner did we sit down these dime pieces with the typical Cibao look were attacking us one after another. Fought off a few, one quoted US $100 for one pop on site and $200 TLN off-site. Tu ta pasao mami. Finally two that could pass for sisters were grinding on us hard, my girl in a miniskirt with nothing underneath and my boy's with a lace bodysuit with no panties. We took them back to our hotel for an overnighter. It was more money than I normally would spend in, say, Sosua. But well cross that off the monger to-do list. My boy couldn't stop talking about the "Santiago look" the next day. (he's not as budget conscious as I am.) Oh shit I thought, as we were driving to Sosua. Hope Santiago didn't get you spoiled because they won't be all like that in Sosua.

Thanks for the report bro, good job. Matum casino complex actually has two clubs, one on each end. Not much P4P but the sprinkle of girls trolling the lot for tourists.

What you call " The Santiago look" is very appealing but you will also notice the different attitude and dress style. They shine bro. Light skinned, long beautiful black hair, superior attitude and classy dress style. But you also need to have your Santiago attitude when there. They are not tourist happy initially, and they hate guys that are hounding. So act like you aren't interested and they will think you are somebody and they are fucking upscale rather than being with some begging tourist. The Dominican dudes there have major money so they could care less about a tourist and his cien unless they are deep in the business.

I wrote a few pages back about hanging with Mr E and his girl at a spot across the street from the monument. When I walked in she was sitting 15 feet directly in front of me and she caught me looking at her and gave me a mean look that said " You will never have this". So I just ordered drinks with E and completely ignored her ass, she was invisible to me. After we ate and drank and got up to leave, she had a look like her puppy just ran away. Mr E and his girl were walking in front of me as I lurked, then she spoke up. Where are you going, where are you from etc? Sorry baby I got my Santiago attitude thing working and you didn't make the cut LOL.

So when in Santiago act like you don't see any of those fine girls walking around and have an air of superiority and that will turn them on. Looking forward to your Sosua report.

But, I must point out that particular time, because that is right around when Spirit dumps passengers off at STI. So, my question is assuming you were taking a cab to town, what would be the best place to prowl at that hour? Or is it a lost cause that late?

Parkinson please tell me yall didn't pay the $200.Heck no! But the lowest we could talk them down to was 5000 pesos. You know anything higher than 3000 will feel very much like US $200 to me.

After the weekend spent in Sosua, we returned to Santiago before continuing on to Santo Domingo. This time we checked into Hotel Matum, based on the talent we saw the other night going into Tabu night club. Ran into a couple of NY brothers in the lobby. As a matter of fact, I did remember seeing them at Pasion the other night. One guy said he's been coming to the DR quite frequently, but only to Santiago, never Sosua or elsewhere.

Early evening we went to International "Gozamba" carwash. It wasn't busy at all. 6 to 8 average girls were sitting about. Out of curiosity inquired the rate from one. She quoted 4000 peso for ST. Finished our beer and left to find dinner.

Again, by the time we rested up and played a few hands, it was too late to hit Plaza Gomez Diaz (closes at 1 am). So we went straight to Pasion. It was very crowded even though it was Monday night. Girls were mostly occupied with other clients. Got two girls to sit with us. I got a short thick girl who was very flirtatious, really tried hard for me to take her. Like the other girls before, she wanted US $100 for ST on site and US $200 TLN. No matter how hard I tried, she would not budge! The lowest she could go was US $150 for TLN back at my hotel. I refused to pay that. My boy wasn't feeling the timid blonde next to him either. A while later we got out of there.

Went back to Matum and inside Tabu. Not much going on at all. Two Venezolanas were available, but were asking US $120 for TLN. They don't compare at all to the hot Santiago chicks. No thanks.

By now it was well after 4 am and we were about to throw in the towel. Wait. There were two SWs right out front of the casino. One is older, probably 32, a white Cibaena. The other a little younger. Both cute. Negotiated 2500 pesos for TLN (well or whatever would pass for TLN starting at 4 am). I took the older one and she told me she is a mother of four! But guess what when the clothes came off, there were no cellulites, no loose skins, no pancake tits. Her butt and thighs were rock hard, the proverbial "you can bounce a 25 peso coin off of". She got on top first and took her time to ride herself to completion as I kept rubbing her clit. As I sent her off after two pops I was so happy I didn't overpay at Pasion for pussy. I found myself a GFE gem here. There's no way a 7000 peso pussy could be any better.

Locals I've spoken to indicate it's a jumping place and just east on the Autopista fm Imperial Aparta Hotel. A prefered meeting place since it is a little bit out of town and away from prying eyes.

I tried to set up an off-duty "outcall" arrangement with one of the girls whose WhatsApp number I had. She responded well, but our convo game me the impression she would just not leave unless there was an exit fee paid at the bar.

The car wash part is set back from the highway via a long driveway on the left hand side of the building. You need to look closely for the signs but a taxi driver half way familiar with STI should know the spot.

Just checked google maps and there is a listing for it. I have not been there in a few years so can not vouch for if the map location is correct but it looks like it is. South of penetration. There is another place further north on other side of autopista but the name escapes me now.

I will be arriving in Santiago on 24 Dec about noon and will be there until the 26 when I leave to Puerto Plata to meet family, no chance of any mongering then.

Will there be much action Christmas Eve and Christmas day or will all the women be with family?

I have booked into the Hotel Planito. Can anyone tell me if there is any action there or recommend a better place?

I love having two women, can anyone recommend a favorite pair?

I get the impression that long time asking rates are somewhere around $US 200 for top end women. Is this correct? Would the Christmas time be a premium price or would the lack of clients mean a lower price?

Where would I find some high-end women? I have read through a lot of posts but any places I can find on the map are a ways from my hotel. I was not planning on getting a car and I don't speak a word of Spanish. This is my first time to the DR and I don't know my way around at all.

I work in Haiti but want to come to Santiago DR to play. I work in Cap Haitian, Haiti and I can get to the border at Dajobon on a Saturday around 3 or 4 PM and want to go to Santiago but be back at the border as early as possible on Monday, say 9 AM or so.

I have asked around but can only get a quote of around US $300 each way for a car and driver.

I would take a local bus but cannot find any information on where to go and where to meet them at either end or any information on the schedule.

I have in the past taken the Caribe Tour bus from Cap Haitian but it leaves too early on Saturday and gets back too late on Monday to be very useful for me.

Can anyone help with some transportation ideas? Does anyone know of a reliable local who would be able to meet me at the border and get me back in time? My budget for this excursion is RD $5. 000 to 7,000 each way. Once it gets more than that then flying through Port au Prince and going somewhere else becomes a more economical option for a short fun holiday. I am open to any idea except a motorcycle for the trip.

They seem to leave pretty frequently, as soon as a bus fills up, then it departs. For the return journey you might need to arrive in Dajabon in the evening and stay at one of the hotels there, or you may be able to get a very early morning bus from Santiago to Djabon and get there in time. I stayed in one near the center, but I forget what it is called. It was quite nice. There is a bus station (parada) for Djabon buses in Santiago. Again you will need to ask for the exact location. The bus takes about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to Santiago and the fare is cheap, I forget how much although it is actually only a few months since I last made that trip. I went on the local guagua express, but I think there are several bus services on that route. Those buses are subject to several spot checks by military and customs officials looking for undocumented Haitians, so they don't stop along the way or are not allowed to. The first stop may in fact be Navarete.

If they ask for $100 just offer them $200 and they will be high end. There certainly are some educated and beautiful female students who moonlight as hookers, but it will be very hard for you to find them, especially if you don't speak Spanish, and if you don't speak Spanish, it will hardly matter if they are articulate and cultured or not or whether they read Cervantes in bed.

Since you don't speak Spanish, but you work in Haiti, you might consider looking for Haitian women in the DR, of whom there are many. Even knowing a small amount of Haitian Kreyol, which presumably you do, will be a huge help in striking up a conversation and getting things off on the right foot.

Rodeo.I think they usually ask for $20 for any taxi ride off the airport. There are two Caribe tours bus stations in Santiago, neither is at the airport. Just ask for the Caribe tours bus station for Puerto Plata and they should take you to the northerly one. The taxi will nearly always try to persuade you to take the taxi all the way to Sosua and you may be able to negotiate a better deal while keeping the Caribe tours option open. If a single girl or couple of girls has a ticket to Sosua on the bus ride, then she is almost certainly open to persuasion, but make sure that you don't cause offense to civilians with inappropriate advances. If your Spanish conversation is good, you would not have any problems in that area.

I'm an American expat retired military living here w / a Dominican wife. We travel through STI often and find you can really be taken advantage of at the Aeropuerto Cibao. Once you clear through customs you'll see lots of drivers holding up Taxi signs, each with a different price for where you want to go. Be aware that those who hang at the airport are part of a pretty strong union and will jack prices up. My personal experience because I live here is to use a driver I know who will meet me at the airport at a given time and charges the same to come to the airport and return to the city. I never pay more than 700RD and would suggest taxi negotiations always be in pesos. We live on the airport side of town and service from the house to the Metro station a half block from the Caribe station would be an additional 150RD. Today's exchange rate for dollars to pesos for $20 US is 930 pesos. An offer of 1000RD is a good offer. If someone wants more and you decline, and another driver hears you decline, they will compete very quickly by dropping rate.

Consider a Uber account while you are here. Nice cars, much, much less cost and a direct bill as dollars to your credit card account.

Enjoy your trip to the Cibao. It's been really cool here the last few nights and downright enjoyable.
