She would then get off stage and come introduce herself. Tipping was optional. I didn't tip. I was told they dance full nude on stage on Saturday nights.
The club is super clean and the music is loud but not crazy loud.
They have a private dance area that I didn't go into, but did ask a lot of questions. 1000 DOP for 2 songs. One dancer said she would do 3 songs for the 1000. I noticed that the DJ has the shortened songs going. Literally every song is 60 seconds or 90 seconds. Thats crazy. With that being said, you should negotiate 5 songs for 1000 DOP or you are paying more here than in the states. The girls do get full nude back there.
Anyways, club is in an L shaped set up with two stages. Plenty of places to relax. Drinks were ok. A bit lean on the pours. XV with ice ran about 250 DOP each. Lady drinks were about 50 DOP additional.
All the dancers were wearing their knee high boots. Probably to hide their hairy legs. Haha.
The women looked ok. Maybe 3 of the 12 were attractive in my book and they were the lighter skinned mulatas.

I walked in around 12:30 AM and it was super empty. But the wow factor of the place is incredible! I can only imagine the eye candy in this place for a Wednesday or a Friday. I was told those are the best nights. The entire club was all chairs, couches and what not. No place to just hang out and meet women. Thats the one thing I hate about the DR.
Drinks were heavy on the pour side. XV with ice. 300 DOP. Great service from the waiter. He had nothing else to do. Haha.
Anyways, I would highly recommend this place, but bring friends.
Ok, I headed here today without an appt. Not a big deal as I wouldn't know who to ask for and its a Tuesday so I figured it wouldn't be busy and it wasnt. After a short wait, Sherry (or Cherry) came out to greet me. Big smile. But not the most attractive body. Short and kinda oompa loompa with long brown hair. Prob in her mid 30's. She took me to the back and directed me to shower across the hall. I did so and headed back into the room. It was warm so she started the AC. Room was clean and the massage table was comfy. I still left a decent tip as well I'm not one to be a jerk. But I will say this, If I had taken her up on the happy ending, I bet she would have ended the massage after 15-20 minutes.
As I was leaving, I crossed paths with a gorgeous young blonde. I wish I got her name for you guys. Maybe its best to call and ask specifically for her if you make an appt.

The well heeled of the town who drive fancy four wheel drives go there and bring their own company and you get to see the best of the town, very often blancas. One may get into trouble there thinking the women are open to advances from strangers.

I too bumped into Lovera, because a girl took me there (sorry never been into girlfriends in those faraway lands) and that is how I figured out the place. This was around 2009/2010. I have always been an Internet person like you; scoring in a bar is an inefficient way, as far as I am concerned. I also feel, older people are not invisible in many parts of the world, certainly not in the Hispanic world, including the DR.
Close to the monument, there is another club I went to, the back side of it but I cannot remember the name. It has been a long time. That too was a good club. Went there, again with someone and enjoyed dancing. I love the music and rhythm of bachata. The rap thing is so crappy!
On one occasion, at Lovera, I saw a young and beautiful Santiaguera dancing with a suave and well dressed gentleman (an estranjero) who was decidedly older than me (and I ain't no spring chicken). I must admit, I felt a twinge of jealousy, not something that happens to me. She looked ethereal.
So, the moral of the story is: I use the bars and restaurants, not as a pick up place but only as a place to reward someone. I have taken women to the clubs, when they pleased me, so that they can take selfies and show off. These clubs are pricey.
For me, the internet is the place to cast a wide net and then whittle it down by speaking with them.

Santiago does not have a place where gringos can pick up women with ease like Sosua. Sosua will have several 100 ladies every week end from all over the Island many from Santiago. Members of the Justice Department, operating in coordination with the police, carried out 15 simultaneous search warrants in the Gurabo area of Santiago de los Caballeros late last week, and broke open what is described by the authorities as a major human trafficking and prostitution ring. Some 20 women from Colombia were taken into protective custody, two persons were arrested, and more are expected. Not many details were given to the press.

There was a place called White House in Santiago. I do not know if it is still open. The place in Puerto Plata is / was called Crystal I think. Ahnvee was a ripoff place as you can see from the TripAdvisor reviews. It has closed down as well. As far as chicks are concerned, Dominican Republic is largely a freelance market.
Not sure why you are staying 2 nights in Santiago. Most visitors that do not have family there only stay there 1 night if their flight gets in late or they have an early flight out in the morning.
Sosua does not have strip clubs. Every women in the town will fuck you for the price of a lap dance in the states and guys do not come look at pussy. But what happened to the market in Sosua is ls what is helping kill it for the casual monger.
Namely, The Internet.
Sosua was always there. I talk to guys that have been there for 20 years or more. But it was one of those places in the World the general public had never been aware of. It wasn't until the WWW that folks started discussing it online and promoting it. Like how he natives were friendly and had no hang up about sex. The were poor and would happily trade their bodies for trinkets, because it was legal, and they even seemed to enjoy sex! LOL.
The game was on!
Then came the Media outrage from the virtue signalers, pearl clutchers, and the do-gooders in the West, who described in detail how young beautiful women were lining up to welcome Western sex prisoners, and that made Sosua and other places more popular than ever with guys like me, who wanted to see heaven before I died!
With the resulting explosion of visitors, the infrastructure, airlines with daily flights, girl friendly hotels, restaurants, catering to it, it became commercialized, and the result was the inflation of demand vs supply. Now it's getting a little more like the West, not so in your face, sex by appointment, and consequently more expensive.
But it's a work in progress and we can enjoy it before it changes totally into my Toronto, which is now reduced to literally thousands of hole in the wall AMP's manned by aging fat Chines ladies, who don't even switch off their phones, while jerking you! I gave a chance to Santiago and I have to admit I regretted it a lot. The place was probably great a few decades ago ago but its definitely not what I would call a mongering place. The girls and agency ask insane amounts of money like if it was USA (6000 in average). I visited a lots of place who are not point and click action but where it's easy to finds some girls at good price. Santiago gave me the feeling of a city in ruins with nothing to do. If I need a guide or to master a foreign language and go full GFE with a hoe to get some action and it cost me the same then if I was in my country its clearly not a good spot. Don't go there more then 1-2 days and be sure to already have girls on your WhatsApp ready to visit you if you go there, it's not a good pace for improvisation and the amount of scam feel dangerously high everywhere I went.
