At least it was a few years ago when I brought my "girlfriend for the night" there. I met her at Laranginha (sorry if I have spelled this wrong; its the place where many hookers hang out and they have an "Indian" dance show there that rivals Radio Music Hall and the Rockets for its absurdity).
Remember that Manaus is in Brazil! Girl friendly is the rule, not the exception.
Tropical is a bit expensive for me, and FAR FAR away from the action in Manaus. On the other hand, if you rent a car, its a great place to be because there is everything there (beach, tennis courts, good food, lots of hookers down the street, etc). If you have a car, you won't have to pay the ridiculously high taxi fares in Manaus.
One thing most tourists do not know is that the Amazon River has miles and miles of pristine beach during the dry season. You can get a boat near the Tropical to take you to any number of great beaches, which have food, etc for a modest fare. If you want privacy, you can rent a boat for about $150 USA for the day and go to pristine beaches up or down river near Manaus where you will be all alone to do whatever you wish. If you like sex in warm water (the Amazon in Manaus is about 86 degrees F or 30 degrees C), this is a perfect place to indulge. Actually, the Amazon is dark and murky enough that you can discretely fuck your girl in the water even when there are other people nearby, as long as your girl (or you) is not a screamer. You just put her on your lap, and bob with the waves.
My Manaus girl and I have done this often.
Be forewarned to watch out for alligators!

I would think twice before having sex in a river in the Amazon.
Jacarés or piranhas are not the main worry.
The people who lives in the Amazon have some rules:
1. No swimming nude.
2. No pissing when taking a dip.
3. No sex in the river.
The reason is the risk of getting a Candiru up your penis, vagina or anus. Candiru is a parasite fish that's very hard to spot. If you get it up your penis it's very hard to remove it.

first and foremost, i will admit that swimming in the amazon can be dangerous, but the dangers are greatly exaggerated.
candiru, for example, are a tiny spiny fish that can swim up one's urethra and then become lodged there (due to the spines). they are said to be attracted to your urethra by the smell of [CodeWord109] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109), and there are stories of men who were pissing in the water who subsequently were invaded by one or more of these tiny fish while taking a leak. the stories are probably true, and in the days prior to the modern medical era, the only cure was amputation! one of my acquaintances is a doctor at a public hospital in manaus, and they see candiru cases a few times a decade. now they just slice your penis open, remove the animal and stitch you back up. not a pleasant thought, but far better than amputation.
however, i am not worried about candiru. the areas of the river that are dangerous for candiru are well known (apparently they thrive at the encontros das aguas). there is an indian tribe near manaus where i have gone several times; the tribe is located on a wonderful beach (which has a corner nook just private enough for sex), and the indians swim there too.
as for jacarés, south american alligators are quite tame compared with, for example, african crocodiles. they are not man eaters, although there is a rare incident of fatal alligator attack about once per year in brazil, according to my namorada. far more people die in car accidents in manaus, and yet i don't think anyone would recommend that you not drive there (actually, i may be wrong on this!). i spent a few weeks in the pantanal once, where jacerés abound, and no one was even slightly worried about attack.
my namorada is from manaus, and knows the risks, and where the risks are greatest or virtually non-existent. any of the water taxistas who run the boats near the tropical hotel will know where it is safe to swim.
i think sperto is correct that fucking in the amazon is not without its risks, but in my opinion, compared to hiv, herpes, a heart attack (i am three times the age of my namorada) and random violent death, the risks are quite minimal.

It's very correct all what you said.
Let me just point out one thing. I don't discourage nobody to swim in the Amazon. On the contrary, it's great to swim in the beautiful rivers. It's just the part with having sex (and pissing) in the rivers that I would be cautious with. The risk of getting a candiru up your penis is indeed very small, but still there is a risk of having your penis sliced up.
It also depends on the area. I had a GF who lived in a settlement a couple of hours boatride from Manaus. In this tributary the candiru were supposed to be common, and all the locals took a lot of precautions.

Sperto: if you are worried about candiru, you should consider wearing a condom when having swimming naked or having sex in the Amazon!

NOTES ON THE MANAUS GIRLS ******************************
- In Manaus you'll see a lot of ugly fat girls, but also many stunners. The girls are either very ugly or very hot. Not many beautiful girls over 28 years. Maybe there is only 10% stunners, but these stunners tends to be just breath-taking.
- Be very cautious of the girls ages or you might get yourself into serious trouble.
- In Manaus there are many girls that just live for partying and having sex. Don't come here expecting to find a serious relationship. As a gringo it's very easy to get laid.
- Dating Manaus girls is a pain in the ass, as they always arrives very late.

Thanks Sperto. Completely agree with you. Had the pleasure of visiting Remulus a couple of months ago, based on your reviews, and it is really worth it. Just a tip, try to arrive around 9 PM, a ton of girls and not a lot of guests yet. Makes for an even better selection!
Later on, some of the free-lancers become sloshed with alcohol, personally I find that annoying.
Had one girl spend the night with me at my hotel for 200 R, a real stunner. At the club, paid 50R for the 30 minute pop.

H .... I will reach Manaus for business. I will get one free week or more for resting and fucking. I like very much rainforest and every girls there but reading posts here I am surprised by fucking price. I know Manaus is a touristic town and its cost of living is high. I like a girl friend experience for one week. I don't know if there is a different and cheaper town in the brazilian raiforest but with easy preys. Otherwise I will spent one week at Rio de Janeiro but with great regret.

I too was surprised at the cost of the women in Manaus.
In Iquitos, Peru, the women much less expensive.

Had dinner at Bufalo a Churrascaria BBQ restaurant on a Wednesday evening. It was very good. Took a short cab ride over to Remulos. There were several girls on the street but I went straight in. A couple of bouncers at the door but no cover charge, it was about 8:00. Huge place. 2 bar areas. Kind of warehouse like. R$3 Skol beers, R$5 Heineken. It seemed like 1 to 1 guys to girls. All shapes and sizes so if you can't find a lady to your taste you're not trying. The music was so loud it made the conversation difficult with the few words I do know. After 30 minutes a few girls started making offers. Standard R$50 for 30 minutes. A beauty in a red mini-skirt grabbed my horn, worked it for a while, and lead me upstairs. Covered service. Un-rushed 30 minutes. I left lighter.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn. R$20 taxi to get to Remolus. The hotel is new, clean, decent restaurant, and has good internet service. There is a mall next door which was useless to me. A new brew pub Felice behind the mall. Lots of attractive girls.

This is a great summary of what is available in Manaus, especially the "free" option. However, as I have a girlfriend here in Manaus (who has a job), I am always lookig for a discrete daytime activity that does not tke me where the street girls are or near Remulos.
Do you know of any massage places? The taxi drivers swear they exist, but never come up with a location.

Sperto, since you're the person to ask to when it comes to MAO as I'm thinking of going there very soon. I'd like to know where would a good area in town to stay and :
- get a furnished apartment for short term (say 1-2 weeks) (if not a furnished apart, then a mid range gf friendly hotel would be ok.
- proximity to clubs as I'd be focusing more into the non pros/night life than the pros as I'm young and speak fluent Portuguese.
- a lively day environment would be prefered for daytime approaches.
What would you suggest?
Thanks a bunch.
Valeu.

Staying close to the nightlife/forró clubs might be difficult. Different clubs every evening, most of them in different outskirts of the town (Tarumã, Cidade Nova, Ponta Negra etc).
Centro will propably be your best option to stay at. Centro is also good for daytime hunting.
Apartments for short terms can be found in centro. Lots of hotels as well. When I choose to stay at a hotel in Manaus I actually choose a motel. I negotiate a good deal and can of course can bring as many ladies as I want to.
Thanks Sperto,
One more question:
In terms of vaccinations, what are the must to do before getting there? I did my yellow fever shot 5 years ago and I believe their good for 10 years. Also, is it really necessary to buy Malaria tablets called Malarone from outside of Brasil at high prices or can I just get something similar in Brasil?
What would you Sperto suggest as you are a regular in Manaus, how do you deal with that aspect of coming to the Amazon?
Much appreciated.
Cheers.

I don't take any vaccinations or malaria tablets.
Even though Manaus lies in the middle of the Amazon you will hardly be bother with any mosquitos. I see less mosquitos in Manaus than I see in e.g Fortaleza. If you leave Manaus and head to the interior of Amazonas it might be different. Along Rio Negro the mosquitos ain't such a big problem as along Rio Solimões.
i went to manaus about 4 yrs ago. i had also planned on going on the amazon river and into the amazon jungle area, eventually ending up in santarem. about a month before my trip, i visited an international travel clinic, (located at a major university in my city,) and gave them my itinerary. i got: a booster tetanus shot, yellow fever, and hepatitis c vaccination. (i had a previous hep b vaccination.) was given malaria pills, which i was to take daily while on the trip. was also given a live oral typhoid vaccine, (special order by the pharmacy,) which i took three times over a 1 week period. (made me a lil nauseous at the end of the week.) cost was $350 at the time. peace of mind: priceless. :)
the doctor recommended i avoid buying food from street sellers, drink only from sealed containers, avoid salads, and only eat fruit which i peeled.
it was also recommended i buy a mosquito net treated with deet to sleep within at night. (you can buy these two separately in centro manaus markets.) regarding mosquito's, avoid being outside between 6p-7p, as that's when they come out. also take some repellent with deet with you.
i got bit, mostly by fire ants (i think) in my lower legs, so also take some treatment for the insect bites with you. whatever it was that was biting me, it seemed they liked the repellent, musta added seasoning and flavor to me. lol
to add to sperto post regarding mosquitos: the general rule is: if you see many locals hanging about in the area, it's safe. that also applies to piranhas and gators, should you decide to take a dip in the river. lol
i suggest you check with your doctor, as he knows your medical history before you self medicate.
also there are some posters here that will recommend you only need to take some vitamins to stay healthy and urge to to stay away from vaccinations and such. (to each his own.)
I don't take any vaccinations or malaria tablets.

Along Rio Negro the mosquitos ain't such a big problem as along Rio Solimões.Spent the past week-and-a-half in Manaus and environs. In a country infamous for its tourist traps, Amazonia the most heinous of all. Four Season's pricing for what Brazilians pass off as 5-hostelry. Still, had to go and do it once and been putting it off forever. For Hotel, started with Tropical Manaus at Rio Negro Beach. A great old-style facility to relax away from downtown Manaus, which is: your typical ramshackled and rundown Brazilian city, but one full of all the charms we've come to know and love. Try the Port Manaus inside area (where Amazon Explorers travel agency is) early evening. Girls there will show you attention if you're remotely alive, young and drunk ones. Leaving the Tropical at night to stroll along the 'beach' promenade, we saw working girls sitting waiting for clients. Didn't partake. Then, it was on to riverboat and Jungle Lodge for a few days which is beyond the scope of this forum. Note: mosquitos not a factor. In fact, nothing exotic really at all. Five minutes into the jungle, you could be anywhere there's trees, tropical forest, and swamp water, and over-priced everything including necessities like water and cab-rides.

Some of your mellow mongers in Manaus in November?
Anybody in Manaus in November? (4th-5th Dec.)
Some of your mellow mongers in Manaus in November?
4th-5th December or November? I'm confused.
Some questions on Manaus (I was thinking of spending a few months there, perhaps also in Rio Branco and Porto Velho from Dec). Hope you can help with these.
1) How bad is the rain during rainy season? Is it heavy or light, how many hours per day must I expect? Are the times of day predictable? Just how bearable is the heat?
2) The reports don't usually mention how old, fit and handsome/ugly the poster is! This is why I sometimes find it difficult to understand just how easy/hard the non-pro scene will be. I'm 33 years old, white, in shape with dark hair and blue eyes, can't dance forró but dance well otherwise, what do you think my chances of scoring ANY girl on a given night will be? For purposes of comparison, in Moscow/Kiev, I usually averaged 1 non-pro in two days, but then I speak fluent Russian, know the culture well and frankly, haven't been overly choosy. As for Portuguese, I am learning it right now but what I understand is mostly based on my Spanish (which is reasonably good), not any true knowledge of the language.
3) I've watched some forró videos and I'm not too big a fan of this music, how good are the other clubs for non-pros? Any recommendations? I read about Crocodillos on another board.
4) Are taxis generally metered? Does it make a difference in price if I hail one on the street versus ordering one on the phone?
5) Any ideas on long-term accommodation? Best to go through agencies or can you recommend some newspapers/websites that carry relevant ads? I don't really speak Portuguese, but I can read it very well.
On malaria prevention: I have found out the odds of contracting malaria for the average Manaus citizen in a given month of the rainy season (much worse than dry season). They are 1:1000 to 1:2000, and given the side effects that malaria prophylaxis can have, including dampening your sex drive, I'm definitely NOT going to take it. In fact, I know that locals in a malaria area do not take this stuff because taking it over long time periods is quite detrimental to your health. Note that some locals live in houses without ANY mosquito nets, some of them, as the Brazilian article put it, even "without walls". I figure that living in the centre in decent conditions decreases the probability even further, although of course the forró clubs seem to be farther out.
For reference, check http://www.estadao.com.br/noticias/geral,casos-de-malaria-aumentam-106-em-manaus,509948,0.htm (in Portuguese).

3) I've watched some forró videos and I'm not too big a fan of this music, how good are the other clubs for non-pros? Any recommendations? I read about Crocodillos on another board.
4) Are taxis generally metered? Does it make a difference in price if I hail one on the street versus ordering one on the phone?..............
Be prepared for heavy rain and hot humid climate.
I can't see how it will help you knowing if the posters are handsome/ugly? Scoring in Manaus isn't difficult, at least not if you speak Portuguese well. Speaking Spanish doesn't solve the language barrier, but might help a little bit. Speaking Russian will be a great help. :)
Just about all major clubs plays forró.
Crocodilo is an exception. The club can be decent on Sundays, but small and very crowded.
Taxis are metered, just as in the rest of Brazil. Taxi rides to the clubs can become quite expensive.
No need for Malaria prophylaxis if you stay in Manaus.

SWhen I choose to stay at a hotel in Manaus I actually choose a motel. I negotiate a good deal and can of course can bring as many ladies as I want to.
This is an outstanding idea, which I was considering only a day or so ago with my girlfriend. My only problem is that the beds don't have blankets in most motels (and I get cold if the air conditioner is on), but the motels are typically modern, clean and responsive to ones needs. Ordering food and whiskey at 4:30 am is never a problem at most motels.
I have never tried to negotiate with a motel, but some of the motels are pretty nice. Sperto: which ones do you recommend? (I like Nirvana, between the airport and the Ponta Negra).
I always try and negotiate with hotels, and this usually works. I usually stay at the Hotel Mercure because it has good internet access, but its not near anything except my favorite restaurant in all of Brazil: Choupana (Rua Recife 790; try the costellas de tambaqui for the best grilled fish I have ever had. Also patinhas de carengejo, or little crab feet, are an amazing fresh water crab appetizer, deep fried a la milanesa ). This restaurant has the best Amazonian fish I have ever had- I have been there at least 25 times. It is not cheap if you also drink whiskey- I usually get out for about $90 USA for two, but don't skimp at anything.
I have tried the Taj Majal- old and not so clean, but well located. There is a Best Western downtown, which was girl friendly, clean enough but terrible internet access. I always found it easy to pick up regular girls in that area. I have been to several places in the Industrial area, such as the Sleep Inn. These are clean with good internet, but off the beaten path. Actually, the shopping mall near the Sleep Inn has great shows on Saturday night. I heard and saw both Seu Jorge and Ana Carolina there on my last couple of trips to Manaus.
Next time, I will go to Nirvana, not far from the airport and definitely one of the nicer motels and try to get a nice deal for the weekend. I am not certain if they have internet however. Unless Spero has a better suggestion!
As for the questions posed by Slutlover, rainy season can be very wet, although the rain is intermittent on most days. Indeed, I have gone on some of my best river trips (which I typically do on Sundays) during rainy season. An umbrella is easy to pick up when it starts raining, and a nice raincoat from the States will completely protect you. Beware, it is still pretty hot in rainy season.
As for malaria, there is not a lot in the city. Perhaps, there is none. As you travel outside the city, even if you take the water taxi to the various beaches on the river, there is some malaria. A drive into the countryside, and you are definitely at risk whenever you go through small villages and towns. You need to plan ahead if you want to take preventative therapy. There is no malaria prophylaxis available in Brazil. ANYWHERE. That is because malaria is only treated in government health clinics and hospitals and the government controls the distribution of drugs (which are free). Pharmacies are not allowed to sell anti-malarials. Fortunately, the last two years have seen a dramatic decline in malaria. Last year, there was so much rain that it strongly suppressed mosquito breeding (washed away the eggs), and this year was very hot and dry. The health authorities also claim that they are more successful at suppressing the infection and mosquitoes. This latter claim is absurd, because they had a terrible year for Dengue Fever this year, which is also spread by mosquitoes. This brings me to my real health warning- watch out for mosquitoes. Dengue is really unpleasant and occasionally fatal. Yellow fever also exists in the Amazon, and this is a terrible way to die. Use insect repellent religiously when outside the city limits.
Agree with the observations by others on taxis. I swear that taxis are cheaper in NYC. I rent a car these days. This is not cheap either, but at least I know what I am going to pay, and do not miss out on things because I have a wave of needless frugality.
As for picking up non-pros, this is easy. There are two ways. First, you can message dozens of garotas on web sites like Tagged.com before you leave the States (or wherever you come from). I always get a few good responses (of course, I speak Portuguese, which helps). Some girls speak English (or just enough English). These girls typically require the two date procedure. You act like a gentleman on the first date (don't be too gentlemanly. No matter how much you avoid the subject of sex at dinner, be certain to invite them to your hotel before sending them home in a taxi), and fuck like teens the next night. They don't go home with you on the first date, because they don't want to be mistaken as *****s. Of course, these girls typically become very expensive as you continue to see them. The second approach is one that I use a lot in towns where I am free to be seen in public: I go shopping until I find a cute shopkeeper I like. I flirt, leave, come back, buy something minimal, flirt some more, leave again and the return to invite the girl out on a date. I have 100% success with this approach, as the girls that are uninterested stop flirting after a few minutes. Lunch restaurants are good for this too with the appropriate variation in approach. For some reason, I often get horizontal with girls like this on my first date. Maybe the flirting in the store counts as date #1!
And of course, if all else fails, there is always Remulus. That place has soooooooo many girls, and you can always find a gorgeous one with a good attitude if you are patient.

I prefer to stay in centro. There are dozens of small clean motels with good prices. Choose one that you like and negotiate with the owner (paying diária/day isn't common in motels).
True, about the cold AC. I always ask the cleaning lady to get extra sheets for covering at night-time.
Remulos is excellent for fullfilling urgent needs.

I didn't say the poster should state if they are ugly. That would be slightly preposterous. :) All I'm saying is that the relative ease of scoring a non-pro must be put into context. A good-looking 20yo might say that scoring during Spring Break, Cancun is a piece of cake, whilst this may be absolutely untrue for a lot of other, older and/or less attractive tourists. It's just a fact of life.

Aren't forró clubs a third way? Do girls there think I'm only there to get their phone number?

Sperto, I think you indicated in an earlier post that Manaus has daytime forró on the weekends. Where can I find those clubs? Your (excellent) yearly update doesn't seem to mention them.

There are clubs working daytime on weekends. Clubs with swimming-pools, restaurants, bars and live forró bands. I'm not updated on these clubs. Just ask a taxi-driver and he will take you a good club, or even better ask some girls which club they prefer.
Some clubs are no fun at all, just for families and older people.

In Brasil as everywhere else, top-level girls want top-level guys.
I'd even say that it is even MORE true in Brasil than everywhere else, as brasilian women put a bigger emphasis on looks than Europeans, Russians or Asians.

Mentioned in earlier posts. Is this hotel girl-friendly?
As always, your help is very much appreciated.

Slutlover, how was Manaus? An update would be nice. This is a quick comment. I'll write a full report soon. I'm still there.
Certainly a good place for non-pros (4 one-night stands in 7 nights out with three weeks' Portuguese, didn't try any day game though) but I find it expensive. Taxi there, well, a bit of negotiating is possible, taxi back, expensive for sure. 10-15 reais to get in, once there I find that people claim a God-given right for the gringo to pay the entire company's drinks (I try to gently resist, though). At the end of the night, I tend to find that 150-200 reais are gone. Add to this 100 reais for accommodation or food, and you get to 300. Fine if you are going for a week, but to stay longer term it's not the cheapest option. I do suspect, though, that with fluent Portuguese the place is a dream. I have a better success rate here than I had in Kiev with totally fluent Russian.
Am about to book a ticket to Porto Velho, with (from what I can see) R$35 air-conditioned hotel rooms and compact nightlife, and maybe on to Rio Branco.

It's good to hear that you're enjoying yourself. Manaus is a non-pro-heaven. It's a shame that the taxi-fares becomes very expensive when you go to all the clubs. Manaus girls are shameless when it comes to begging for free drinks. Unless there seems to be a p*ssy-guarantee I don't hand out any free drinks.
Porto Velho is worth a visit. Rio Branco isn't a beautiful city, but has a good nightlife. Very few gringos so you can expect to be a big attraction when you go out.
I'm looking forward to your reports.
FRIDAY NIGHT.
After a 40-hour trek by plane from the Ukraine (compounded by cancellations and late arrivals) a tired, but enthusiastic SlutLover arrived in Manaus on Friday night. 10 December and, for the standard R$49, took a taxi from the airport to St. Paul Aparthotel (in Centro) , which seemed to offer good value for money. More on this later.
After a rather quick journey from the airport, check-in, leaving my bags and a bit of ironing I was off to Bragaça for my first live forró experience; I had chosen it since they have a gallery on their website http://www.forrodobagaca.com.br Where I could check out the typical range of guests. I was standing around for a while, sipping a 3-reais Caipirinha (well, okay, three) and taking in the atmosphere, then went on the dancefloor when they put on a non-forró track that I could actually dance to without making a fool out of myself.
So along comes this guy and tells me his young (female) friend, equipped with a huge rack and an ass you could bounce a hand grenade off of, is interested in me as she likes my moves. So we dance, then the guy wants me to buy a bottle of Red Label and some Red Bulls for him, her and myself. This sent some alarm bells ringing but it all looked reasonably genuine on her part, so I agreed. He promptly shared the whiskey with two more friends. Presumably a status thing, rather expensive for me at 110 reais or 2-3 Remulos girls but it was my first night, so to hell with it, no bad emotions needed. We added some more Red Bull later. But when she turned her head away when I was trying to kiss her some drinks later, and the guy wanted me to buy food for him as well for good measure, I took her phone number, nonverbally expressed my annoyance and went off.
As I go past a few minutes later, the guy stops me and tells me to talk to his friend. She then walks off with me, leaving him behind. After this warning shot, she turned out to be a lot more amenable than previously. Eventually we went off, took a taxi, went to my hotel. Surprise! 100 reais please, Sir,"for your security" as the leaflet they handed me would explain it. The taxis there and back were 32 and 40 reais, respectively, so costs were spiralling out of control.
Anyway, what's a man to do, I agreed (in retrospect, I should have used a motel instead, but I wasn't really familiar with them back then and preferred not to take a chance). I was a bit too drunk and tired to be of much use at first and, after a bit of sleep, found her reluctant to continue proceedings. I was trying to muster my minimal Portuguese to ask her along the lines of "por que estás assim?" but tended to get ignored or an answer to the effect of "what do you mean?", which I was unable to address politely in that language. But after a very cheap, but decent meal at a nearby cafe (15 reais and we were full of food and Coke) , a walk to the Teatro Amazonas, my gentlemanly offer to buy her a cheap pair of sandals to save her ailing high-heeled feet and a somewhat more romantic approach, she granted access again on the condition that the light be switched off. That time a good time was had. And later, I found out that her earlier hesitation stemmed from her cage fighter boyfriend nicknamed "The Titan". The Titan and the 100 reais fee combined led to a decision to change my hotel at the earliest reasonable opportunity. She finally left sometime in the late afternoon after some strong hints. I needed to get some sleep before going out again! I set my mobile phone's alarm clock, unaware that the device had been set to vibration. As a result I overslept and woke up at 1 am, cursing my luck.
TO BE CONTINUED. NEXT EPISODE: SATURDAY NIGHT
SATURDAY NIGHT.
Having started late already, the first place I went to (Companhia do forró) appeared to be closed, so he recommended a place called Maloka as the nearest alternative. By the time we arrived there it must have been 2 am, and most of the girls appeared to be already taken. A bit discouraged, I found no better pastime than drinking a caipirinha after the other, and must have been quite drunk by the end of the night, talking to any random girl that happened to be around the exit at closing time. As luck would have it, a 35-year old in sunglasses invited me into her taxi and we went to my place instead of hers! Not a great night out but a reasonably happy ending. She wasn't top material but believe me, I was grateful at that point! Also, she recommended a friend of hers as a Portuguese teacher.
SUNDAY NIGHT.
Sunday night was a disappointment. I went out in the sort of peacock style that works well in places like London or Moscow (pinstripe hat, slim tie, jacket, crocodile-skin shoes to match the venue) but girls thought it weird and were giving me arrogant glances! Crocodilos was still more or less OK but I didn't get more out of it than a few dances, and when even that ugly fat 30-year old turned her head away when I was trying to kiss her, I decided that enough was enough - especially given the ridiculously bad 3:1 guy-to-girl ratio - and moved on to Xote de Menina. There, it was late, and people there seemed to like the outfit even less. Lesson learned: dress down, don't expect any fashion sense in Manaus. It may have two million inhabitants but in its essence, it is still a provincial jungle city. Seriously, I couldn't believe how unsuccessful I was, it must be a long time since I have been this ignored anywhere!
monday night.
on monday night, i arrived early at balneario the companhia (i told the taxi driver balneario da cia but he just stared at me. little did i know that cia is simply the abbreviation for companhia!). at about 22. 00, the place seemed full off 13-15-year olds and i was wondering if i had gone to the right place or to a teenie disco. i then noticed that another stairway led to a second area where 1) i had some delightful huge portion of pirarucu with noodles, rice, farofa for r$10, and 2) there was a more mature clientele. i positioned myself at the bar and had a look around. after a while, a blonde stunner started talking to me. at first i thought she was **** but at closer inspection she turned out to be 26, with an 8-year-old daughter! we kept drinking beer and later joined her friends at a table on the first dancefloor. she was a bit reserved so i was wondering if she just wanted the free beer and / or was overcoming herself to get a "rich" bf (not that it was that expensive at 3 reais each, and i refused the request for a bottle of whiskey this time) , the kisses i got weren't all that passionate. at one point i was preparing myself to move on, and when a flowers seller came by i refused and said "vc no me quer de verdade" and was about to go when she physically held me back. from then on relations improved, and later i hunted down the guy with the roses (again, not that expensive at r$3 for one) and got her one while she was in the bathroom. she had more or less clearly stated her intention to stay with me that night when a freak incident happened: some girl went up to her with flying fists! i suspect it was the sister of her namorado or something like that, and that perhaps this was the reason why she hadn't wanted to kiss me openly and publicly. not entirely sober, in unfamiliar surroundings and just totally surprised i didn't act immediately. only when that girl came by a second time attacking her i moved between the two. my girl started to cry, complaining that i hadn't helped her ("nao me acudi") , was hitting the table with the rose to break it and refused to talk to me anymore. so, at almost 4 am, i was left to my own devices, even more annoying because a lot of girls had given me looks while i was with her. she had noticed this and had become more and more jealous, even though i was more or less "on my best behaviour"! .
i went back to that bar i had picked her up at (or rather, she had picked me up at) and found a girl there, again not that good-looking and about 30. she was an easy prey. i had changed hotels in the meantime (now, i was at hotel safari) and they flatly refused to let her in without documents! even worse than the st. paul in that respect. we went to a nearby motel, right next to teatro amazonas, where 2 hours cost a mere r$10 and condoms, apparently of reasonable quality, are r$1 each. she had told me she needed to be at work at 7:30 and needed 45 min to go there as she lived on the other side of the river, but when the time came she said she was tired and wanted to stay with me. that she was into me was an understatement, and her slightly inebriated state only contributed to this. i admonished her that she needed to go to work (i both felt a real responsibility for her and wanted to go home to my hotel to sleep alone) but she nearly raped me in response, calling the front desk for another two hours and another two condoms. at about 8 she woke up, came to her senses and told me she had a plane at 10 for work, which she was unable to make. furthermore, it turned out she was married, and that she had told her husband she was leaving the previous night when in fact, the plane was on monday! meaning that not only she had missed work and the plane she was supposed to catch but that she also had some explaining to do at home. i didn't envy her, but then it was her who had been extremely obstinate in refusing to go home. in the end, i paid her taxi fare (not cheap at 70 reais) and we went separate ways.
at that point, i was slightly frustrated - yes, 3 girls in 4 nights but not that great quality apart from night 1, and somehow i wasn't enjoying myself in the clubs themselves the way i had hoped to. many things going wrong, perhaps in part due to communication problems and lack of cultural understanding.
so on tuesday night i had a break. a quiet night in.
Very nice and entertaining reports. Keep them coming.
To keep down the costs for taxis you can take the bus going to the clubs. It's not as bad as it sounds. Usually there are a crowd of girls on the bus going to the same club as you.
Clubs in Cidade Nova: bus 300 or 640.
Clubs in Ponta Negra: bus 120.
When leaving the clubs, ignore all the taxis standing outside the club and take one that rolls by.
landed in manaus on a saturday night, early sunday morning (1am) on a holiday weekend, from a late night flight from rio (4-5hrs). took the bus from the airport at 1:30am for r$1 (yes $1 real, really) and headed to the cheap motels on rua jose paranagua, just above the praca policia de militar park area.
so the first surprise was finding out several of the once cheap motels, now wanted r$100 per day (wtf) , compared to r$25-35 in previous years. i quickly moved on to some of the other motels a few blocks away and after about 1/2 hour of walking around the area, i finally find a good cheap sex motel (motel fromoses) for r$35 / day. despite the fact some of nicer / favourite motels had raised there daily fee to r$100, in the following days, i found out that there were more than enough motels with reasonable prices in the area.
remulos (rua lobo d'almada. 233, couple of blocks from teatro de amazonas).
-opens: 7pm to 4-5am (or until empty).
-entrance / drinks: r$10 entrada, r$3 beer, r$5-7 fake smirnoff and r$2 water.
-gdp #1: r$ 40-50/2-songs (private box cabins to the right of the pool tables)
-gdp #2: r$ 60-70/30min. +r$15 room (upstairs motel rooms, big clean rooms with ac and jacuzzi)
-gdp #3: r$100+/1hr +r$15 room (upstairs motel rooms, big clean rooms with ac and jacuzzi)
-table dance #1: r$30/2-songs (1 or more guys groping)
-table dance #2: r$20/2-songs (just 1 guy groping)
so (sunday morning 2. 45am upon arrival) without showering, i drop my bags off at the motel and head out to remulos with baited breath. great its still packed and still lots of action. so i take a look-a-around and get a feel for the place and once again it seems to have changed for the worst imho. there now have an american style vip section (it's the elevated section, just as you come in the door) and is obviously geared towards the japanese business men and rich tourists. the place is rundown (not that it wasn't before, but more so now) and the overall jungle charm has gone imho, in replacement of an american style type strip club with increased pricing.
so what does all the increased pricing get you? well i'm not really sure! remulos looks crappier than before. the headline strippers are ok at best and imo are no better than the pros that work and dance on stage there on a regular basis. the pros and semi-pros seem to give more attitude than service and what's with this '½ hr service' bullshit (more on this in a minute). the abundance of bad attitude semi-pro freelancers and lack of good semi-pro freelancers was a disappointing and when you did find one, their quotes (for ½ hr. 1hr and tln) were ridiculous. the onslaught of endless table dances you would see are gone, since many brasileiros can't afford them (at r$30 pop) and the groping level has dropped off to a bare minimum.
the overall impression and attitude i got from most of the girls was, to get customers in and out as quickly as possible, while squeeze as much money out of you, in as shorter time as possible. this was mainly due to the fact many of the girls only wanted to perform the '½ hr service' (for r$60-70) and would only do cbj. so what this (in a sense) forces you to do (for those of us that like to take some quality time with a gdp) , is to pay for the 1hr service. i say that, because in years past it was r$50-60 for 1 hr, with bbbj as the standard.
so long story short, i spent probably about 5 or 7 nights at remulos and never took a girl and i never had a table dance. well that a first for me! remulos is one of the great reasons i make the lengthy trip to manaus and it was very, very disappointing for me this trip. so to borrow a line from a friend, 'same set-up but the attitude of the girls has taken a 180 – from sweet to mercenary'
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=84757&d=1196799438
well all you paloma lovers, will be happy to hear, she was there and looking pretty good, but had that air of snottiness about her. you know, nice to look at but the sex would be pretty sterile and very clinical. i checked out of curiosity and the answer was 'cbj only'. not too mention i did she her being escorted to work by her boyfriend (who left after a big juicy kiss) , right outside of remulos one night, so i guess gfe type sex was way-out-the-question. pity i didn't get to session with that ass & tits back in her early days at remulos.
2-doors down from remulos (10pm till 6am)
free entrada, r$5 garrafa beer, r$3 coke. well i leave remulos (on my 1st night there) around 5am, head to this other bar about 2-doors down from remulos, have a few beers, make friends with a drinking buddy for an hour and try chatting with a few of the low-end riff-raff of girls that parade though the bar looking to score a beer or some quick bucks with a client. so at about 6:30am and a few beers later, i spot a nice spinner in tight black shorts and an alter-top, looking cute and just as wasted as i was. anyway, she was just what the doctor ordered at 7:00am in the morning. she took orders well and performed nicely for r$50/2hr plus r$10 for a nearby motel on rua lobo d'almada.
forro / club venues
in general it's always great idea to grab a beer and chill outside the entrance for a few minutes and see what type of crowd and girls are going in to the club. lots of vendors selling beer and perhaps the odd girl or two looking for someone to pay their way-in. if you don't like what you see you can always head back to remulos.
mondays
•balneario the cia (1st time: r$40/$40 by taxi, entrada r$10)
•balneario the cia (2nd time: r$2. 40 by bus #640 cidade novo about 45min, get off at terminal #4, walk down the hill for 1 min and it is on your left-hand side, entrada r$10).
the action was hot, hot, hot. nice crop of young girls here every monday and for a moment made my feel rather very old. just for a moment though. but i got to say the "sweet girls" at the forros are just incredible. almost makes the journey worth while. almost!
my date (a non-pro waitress, on my first trip here) told me that there's a lot of young / **** kids that get in and that there are a lot of young gay couples also. which was evident when my non-pro date's sister showed up with guy partner. good mix of a mostly young crowd, with the older crowd dancing in another dance area below the first upper stage.
i did have lots of fun watching the great forro dance, but unfortunately i did not score. but there were opportunities, had i tried a little harder. lots of jail bait so be careful when pursuing your prey. if you don't want to pay the r$25-30 (by moto-taxi) or the r$35-45 (by taxi) , just keep partying, have a few more beers and wait till about 5 o'clock for the buses to begin running again, walk back up the hill and take the bus at the terminal. not sure, but i often see the #640 running during the night, so it may run 24/7. although it can get packed with the early morning workers, which can be kinda funny with everyone pushing and shoving to get a seat, every man, woman (pregnant or otherwise) and child for themselves.
tuesdays
• emporio pizza bar (r$20 / r20 by taxi, r$2. 40 by bus #640 or #300, just past manaus shopping, about 2 or 3km and a few blocks from cida drink forro, entrada r$10).
apparently, now on tuesday nights emporio pizza bar (like very close to cia do drink forro club, like a few blocks away) is now good forro dance spot on tues. sorry did get a chance to go and check it out.
wednesdays
• crocodile (entrada r$15, old timers night for couples and singles)
• cida drink forro (r$20 / r20 by taxi, r$2. 40 by bus #640 or #300, just past manaus shopping, about 2 or 3km, entrada r$10, garrafa beer r$5)
cida drink forro, isn't that big compared to other forro clubs and is one of the smallest ones i found. suprisingly not that packed and had an older party crowd of dancers. not sure if it's true, but i did hear that this was one of the worst clubs for fighting. i saw lots of security so i wouldn't worry too much.
i actually had a great time at this club both times i went and was able to practise my forro dancing with some of the older women that didn't mind be embarrassed with a novice. just the large bottles of beer here (r$5, no cans of beer) so if you're drinking beer alone, it's a good idea to share.
1st up is a 40+ something loira spinner with blonde hair and an ok body for her age, but no ass. i buy her and her friend a bottle of beer and get to work. it works, as she takes the bait and hardly notices my forro dance moves are crap. long story short, we have a few more beers, few more laughs and a few more dances. then i initially leave the club with her (and her friend) in her car. but when we stopped for more beer on the way to the hotel, she for whatever reason starts french kissing this guy in a car, that pulls up next to us. well 2min. later she returns to our car and begins to hug me and try to kiss me. so at this point, i cut my losses, push her of me get out the car and flag-down the next taxi, back to cida drink forro. i not one for sloppy seconds and she wasn't that hot to begin with.
next up (back at cida drink forro) is a rather slightly over sized indio chick (with a decent body) , probably in her early 40's with a way better ass. once again a buy her a bottle of beer and once again it works. i practice my forro dancing little, a few laughs and its closing time (about 5am). we head to a near by motel (which was crap and not worth the r$25 / hr) and had some pretty good sex, as far as freebie sex goes, with an elder woman.
thursdays
• ladeira do forro [located down a hill from the entrance] (r$15 / r$15 by taxi, r$2. 40 by bus #670, entrada r$10, beer r$3. 50, fake smironoff r$5). good mix of young and old. good size club. lots of very nice girls and women.
friday
• companiha do forro. this was one of the better forros that i used to love to go to, but unfortunately it has switched to friday from saturday, so i missed going.
saturday
• planeta talisma. i can confirm, but was told it still open on saturdays.
• camao de mamae. is closed for good, i found this out the hard way, on saturday night, as i was stranded for an 45min, almost ¾ of the way to ponta negra and had a hell of a time flagging down a taxi.
sunday
• crocodilo (entrada r$15). in pass years the crocodilo crowd has for the most part, has been a young crowd on sundays and it was no different this time either. so i would arrive about 10:30-11:00pm and grab a beer and sit outside the entrance for about 1 hour, to checkout the action going in. both sunday nights, i saw some nice young girls enter, but the guys outnumbered the girls probably 3 to 1.
ponta negra and bar laranaga.
well after finding out camao de mamae forro club was closed for good, i was stranded ¾ of the way to ponta negra, on a saturday night that went from bad to worse. but that's another story.
anyway i ended up in ponta negra (finally after about 45min. of trying to flag down a cab) late on saturday night. where arrived to witness the big nothing. just families enjoying an evening out with their loved ones. bar laranaga is close for good / remodelling. that night i saw nothing that would indicate there was gdp action. i did see lots of plans for future construction and building going on in ponta negra.
plaza do carangaju
meet up with pingwing (from another forum) on a wednesday and went to a popular spot, plaza do carangaju. it is an outdoor restaurant area, with several restaurants making up this large dining area. this was my 1st time here and i had a fairly good time hanging out and admiring some of the non-pro possibilities. i was told it's a very popular non-pro scene and has lots of potential for picking up non-pros, on the weekends. although it can get very crowed and packed on the weekends. food and drink prices are fair and relatively inexpensive.
centro low-end bars and strip clubs
- close to the port and the bus terminal, next to the banco do brasil there are two side-streets with lots of bars and strip-clubs. located behind the bus stop (look for the sign "hotel central"). some of these places are for daytime action.
- on the first street you'll find 4 strip clubs:
# natureza: small place. the strippers comes down to the stage through the roof on a pole.
# mistura fina: big place. tabledances.
# big house: big place.
# aquarella's bar: big place. tabledances.
none of them charge a entrance fee. on the second street you'll find ho-bars.
# bar anaconda, # bar holanda, # bar do junior, # diplomata drinks bar, # novo mania.
- all of these places on these two streets are very sleazy lowend places. they can be quite fun.
- about 90% of the girls are not doable.
- r$ 20-30/30 min, r$ 7-10 / roomthe low-end centro comments by sperto, still hold true as of november 2010, just add at a moderate 5-10% for drinks and r$10-20 for the gdps. i did find a few nuggets in some of the upstairs bars with strip tease shows, table dancers and small cabins to fuck in for r$40-50 for 30min. however, it really pissed me off, when they (management) were asking r$15 extra for 30min. in some piece of shit box (12ft x 5ft) , with a cum soaked sofa and no towels or showers. a few times, i found it was just too fucking hot to go fuck in these sweat boxes.
streetwalkers
praca de policia militar and area. this was another big, big disappointment for me. the sws are gone, the vendors / buskers are gone and the great small outdoor drinking bars are gone. this used to be a wonderful place to sit, chat, eat, drink and admire some of the local girls in the evenings and was a good place to pick-up semi-pros in the bars and sws at night. all gone!
praca de saudade. this was the same theme at this park (located across from the rio negro athletico building). it was a great place in the evenings with several mom-and-pop type tent restaurants. singles, couples, families would sit, drink and grab a bit to eat or watch a novella or the school girls that happen to pass by. all gone or relegated to the back streets to do business.
praca the matriz. sws during the day till 10pm at night when the gates close, gather in praca the matriz (with the igreja de catedral matriz, av. 7th setembro and av eduardo ribeiro, across from the bus terminal). this is a fairely large park area and is monitored by a few policemen (i guess for **** minors and disputes that may occur) , but all very peaceful as everyone carries on with their business in their presence, without any problems. although it was a decent place to sit, have a drink and watch the action. these sws are typically 3s and 4s.
however, i must admit both the praca de policia militar and praca de saudade areas do look very impressive. they have done a great job in cleaning and beautifying the areas, so i give them (the prefeituras) credit for that. but they loose points by removing a lot of the cultural, artistic and creative aspects of what makes up a lively city. yes your parks are lovely and clean, but they feel so dead and a lack of spirit when walking though them.
other areas. didn't see any sws around the treatro de amazonas at all. the only other sws, were some rep001tered around and behind the bus terminal, bank do brasil and the low-end centro bar areas. these sws are typically 2s and 3s.
as with other cities this trip (fortaleza, belem, rio) , there seem to be a big lack of sws. i guess the prefeituras are cleaning house. with the exception being the sws transvestites, which i found to be growing in numbers, especially those hanging around rua lobo d'almada and near remulos.
summary
so overall i did not enjoy manaus as much this time around, just due to the huge absence of jungle semi-pro lovelies i have adored over the past years. i also missed the "lively" park areas i use to hang out at, for a few hours and enjoy the "girly" scenery. so it was a long way to come for such disappointment, so i'll wait and see what develops here in manaus, before making a comeback.
Landed in Manaus on a Saturday night, early Sunday morning (1am) on a holiday weekend, from a late night flight from Rio (4-5hrs)...Impressive that the Manaus section is more alive than the Rio section. First Slutlovers great report and now Spidy's fabulous update. Thank you. I'll try to do an update in January.
Spidy, I guess it has been at least two years since you last visited Manaus? Things have changed, some for worse and some for better.
Remulos is not as wild as it was in the old days (when the strip-stage was where the pool tables are now). Then it was like in the bar in the movie From Dusk to Dawn. P*ssy everywhere, outrageuos tabledances where everything except penetration was allowed, fights and the guys ass-fingering the strippers on the strip stage. The last years it has became more neat. The VIP section is quite worthless as you'll be far away from the girls. I also noticed that the girls asked for more than usual, but what a girl ask for and what she accepts are two different things. In January the accepted price was R$40-50. They said 30 minutes but accepted a bit longer when I told them I didn't want any anal.
You mentioned a place 2-doors down from Remulos (down, meaning you're not talking about Aquarius which would be one door up). A new strip club, nice! Now there are 4 clubs on Rua Lobo D'Almada.
Emporio Pizza Bar and Plaza do Carangaju (Praça do Caranguejo) was news to me. Very interesting.
Thanks a lot, Spidy.
- I have been to Emporio's last Tuesday. It's in the Ferrada neighbourhood. Crowded but rather snobby if you don't speak Portuguese. Crowd thinks they are the shit because the beer is R$4 rather than R$3 and the Red Bull R$12 rather than R$10. I wasn't getting anywhere.
- At Crocodilos on Sundays, I can confirm that the guy-girl ratio is worse than back home. 3:1 indeed, not my kind of place.
- Overall, I was a bit disappointed with Manaus. 4 girls out of 10 nights out. I was doing much better in Kiev, especially on the quality front. But again, I have basic Portuguese and fluent Russian, with fluent Portuguese Manaus will be better, at least for quantity. If I'm back I'll try to use buses and maybe even stay at the hostel, then take the girl back to a motel if I score. Hotel Opção (right opposite the Teatro Amazonas) is a mere R$10 for 2 hours. Condoms are R$1 each.
- Had my hair dyed a dark colour previously as that looks better on me IMO and, it seems, in the London and Kiev girls' opinion as well. Am originally a dark blonde and suspect I should go back to that. Although I'm German, people can't tell from seeing me that I'm a gringo. Not sure, though, if I trust a hairdresser in Rio Branco, where I'll be from Dec 27.
- First night in Porto Velho went well, but again only once it became known I'm a gringo. Before that I was largely ignored, no flirting unless I was acting myself. In Kiev I had lots of girls (non-pros) giving me the eye but not here.
Impressive that the Manaus section is more alive than the Rio section. First Slutlovers great report and now Spidy's fabulous update. Thank you. I'll try to do an update in January. Thanks Sperto!

Then it was like in the bar in the movie From Dusk to Dawn. P*ssy everywhere, outrageuos tabledances where everything except penetration was allowed, fights and the guys ass-fingering the strippers on the strip stage....Yep! It's been about 2 or 3 years since I last visited Manaus and alot has changed IMO, especially Remulos. Yes, yes, yes, I remember the good ole days, where the action on the floor was incredible. It was just as you describe it, a "From Dusk to Dawn" type atmosphere. Pussy everywhere in plain sight, intermingled between dark nooks and crannies, semi-pros everywhere, table dances galore, pussy / ass-fingering everywhere and the best groping on the planet. This for me was the BEST CLUB IN THE WORLD at the time.
You mentioned a place 2-doors down from Remulos (down, meaning you're not talking about Aquarius which would be one door up). A new strip club, nice! Now there are 4 clubs on Rua Lobo D'Almada. No, not Aquarius, this club is literally 2-doors down the street (as you walk down hill on Rua Lobo D'Almada). Popped my head in Aquarius (if I remember) a couple of times and nothing special. Although half of the nights I went to Remulos, it was rather late, like 1am-2am and Aquarius was closed by then.
There is also another strip club (Paradiso or something) directly across the road from Remulos (that I believe is owned by same owner as Remulos). From the looks of things, their efforts is to setup another American style strip club with headline strippers, marquee performers. Etc. I have never been inside, nor to I care to go inside if this is the case. Sperto do you know the real deal with this club?
Forget to mention BLUE STAR, strip-club (an afternoon strip club, on Rua Lobo D'Almada) was in my opinion a waste of time and very "fracisimo" (sp?). Entrada R$3 and GDPs wanted R$50-60 for 30min. (if I remember correctly). This use to be a great afternoon club / early evening club to go to, but was empty (Tues, Wed around 4-6pm) and all I saw were basically the same hardcore pro GDP girls, you would see at Remulos.
Emporio Pizza Bar and Plaza do Carangaju (Praça do Caranguejo) was news to me. Very interesting. I think it's probably a good place to pickup non-pros (if you can get by the snotty attitude, as SlutLover, points out), if you speak Portuguese well enough and have some game. I cannot speak to the quality of the women on a busy night, but I did see a few 8's in the short time I was there. I even saw a couple of young semi-pro girls, trying to score dates.
Well, Sperto, I look forward to your report and views in January. BTW, is there another way to get to some of those Sunday Forros (Xote de Menina) , if you don't have a car, or wish to pay those outrageous taxi fares?

Remulos. I usually pass Remulos quite early, around 7 PM. Relax in the icecold AC, sip on a Skol and have a plate of their delicious batata fritas. It's fun to see the girls arriving in civilian clothes before they dress up in monster boots and ho-costumes. I try to do my picking before 9 PM. Being their first customer feels nice. Afterwards a shower and then of to the forró clubs in a relaxed mood.

Well, sharing that picture was the minimum I could do.
I've had an unexpected 14-hours stopover in Manaus and thanks to the infos on this forum (quick search at the airport internet point just before checking in on the flight) I happened to stumble up into that ass.
It has been one fantastic night and I have to thank you guys for the precious information.
I loved the short stay in Manaus and hope to go there again soon.
Here is two more shots of that ass, in case any of you gentlemen cares. .
Bless

BlessVery nice pics.
I've tried to figure out if it's a Remulos girl. I know the majority of the Remulos girls, but it's a bit difficult identify her just by her ass. The room looks like the Remulos rooms, but the sheets looks different.
Where did you find the madam? Name?

Where did you find the madam? Name? Indeed Sir, that's Remulos.
About the name of the girl, sorry but I don't remember. It seems like I have an ability when it comes to forgetting people's names.
Dunno much about the rest of Remulos' fauna, but danm sure I can tell you that on that night her ass stood out of the bunch.
I have been looking at it troughout the whole night while crusing trough the club, saw her walking around, saw her giving plenty of table dances, I was completely mesmerized. Looking at that ass shaking really makes you want to sink your teeth into her perineum and wave her in the air like a Great White Shark does to a baby seal on Discovery Channel Shark Week. .
She's not tall once she takes those clear heels off, and got no tits worth writing a postcard back home to mom about. About the face. With that ass, she could have had an iguana head on her shoulder and I wouldn't have noticed (I got a thing for asses, as you might guess) , so this is all I am able to tell you I'm afraid.
Bless

BlessThank you for the info, Mr Shark. That ass is really impressive. Congratulations to your find.
I'll be in Remulos in two weeks and I will keep an eye open after this girl. Short, round butt and long dark hair. It must be a crime not trying her out when visiting Remulos.
Non Pro Scene.
Samba Schools.
Samba Escolas build the center of local communities, such as favelas or quite nomal areas.
They are the center of week-and activities.
Each kind of local women (stundent, samba-dancer, non / semi- and pros) can be contacted there.
Successful and famous personalities appreciate it, to return to their origin.
For instance in the G. R. E. S. Samba Escola Mangueira in Rio de Janeiro you can meet.
Renata Santos, rainha the batteria, beeing a centerfold in Brasilian Playboy or Nicole Bahls, beeing a centerfold too. But you can although meet football player from famos clubs such as Flamengo.
Activities in the Samba Schools (competitions, ensaios.) take place from August to Carnaval on Saturday from midnight till morning.
Parallel to the events inside the Samba Schools you can join in front of them a street party the whole night long.
The girls enjoy when you dance with them and they can show their Samba Skills.
Be aware, of what kind of company the girl is.
If she has a girlfriend or body guards, just dance with her. Look how the other man are going to operate.
The first Samba escola in Manaus is Samba Escola G. R. E. S. A Grande Familia (Sao Jose).
I was in luck and observed the selection of the rainha the batteria (Dancing Queen of the percussion group). Rainha the batteria for Carnaval 2011 of A Grande Familia is Suzanna Santos, a beautiful Morena with Afro Look. She had a very strong mulata competitor with marvelous legs, but at least Suzanna Santos won with her youthfulness and ease.
Among the 1000-5000 visitors normaly are many good looking and charming dancing girls. Most of them are open minded to Gringos / estrangeiros (strangers).
Manaus Events.
- Street party after Christmas Concert.
At the 25. Of December takes place a Christmas Concert in front of the Amazon Theatre from 19:00 to 22:00 o'clock with about 80. 000 visitors. Afterwords there is a great street party with many oportunities to get in contact with Non Pros.
- New year's eve.
In Manaus there are actually 3 offical public events on New year's eve.
I visited the event in the Sambodrom, in company with more then 50. 000 other visitors, especially with many marvelous young women dancing to brasilian music like:
Batteria de G. R. E. S. Samba Escola Aparecida, Micheal Telo and Forro Banda Tsunami.
Paritims Events.
During the last three days in June, in Parintims takes place a local (amazon) festival from Indios, called 'Bumba Meu Boi', alternative to the african influenced Carnaval.
Parks in Manaus.
In Manaus universities and public schools have holidays from December to March.
During these months, there is less 'traffic' in Praca de Saudade and Praca do Congresso.
At Praca the Policia (com Ginasio) opend a new Café, a good location to have a drink with a babe, previously picked up in the park.
Ponta Negra.
Lower level: Many people swimming in Rio Negro on Sunday. Underdeveloped beach culture.
Middel level: Bar area with Forro Music.
Upper level: Bar Laranjinha is actually closed for renovation.
Streetwalkers.
The operating area of the Streetwalkers is quite great:
- Rua Lobo D'Alma from Remulos to Praca the Matriz.
- Zona around Palace Hotel.
- West side wing of Iglesia Nossa Senhora the Conceicao.
- North part of the Rodoviaria.
- Street with Low-end and medium bars (1)
- Street with Ho- bars (2)
- Street from Palace Hotel to Praca Dom Pedro II.
- Parking place (Estacionamento) between 1 and 2.
Ho-bars.
The Ho-bars serve the Streetwalkers as meeting and contact point.
Regularly they are quite small. The biggest one is Bar Holanda.
Most of them are opened Monday till Saturday a manha, a tarde e a noite, but not later than midnight.
There is an impact of garotas de programa and clientes late in the afternoon.
On the parking place between 1 and 2 there are two meetings points:
Café Bar (opend just a tarde).
Bar do Gilberto (mainly opend a noite).
Bar do Gilberto is still open, when all other bars have closed. It is the latest meeting point for the dancing girls, which will put there dancing shoes after work on the tables.
Low End Bars.
Between the Low End Bars exist some differences:
Big House normaly stays open in the afternoon (a tarde) for day time action.
Aquarella's Bar and Natureza stay open at night. On Domingo and Monday they close quite early, depending on the clients.
In each Low End Bar you will find a least one very good looking bailarina.
They could also work in Remulos, but they prefer the athmosphere in the Low End Bars.
It is nice to experience them joking with their girls friend and feeling good.
The 'emergency rooms' in all Low End Bars are out of question extrem bad.
You have to take a girl from here away in an Motel nearby.
Medium Bars.
I think, that Mistura Fina is in between the low- and high end bars.
The emergency rooms are as bad as in the low end bars.
At least 5 bailarinas are very good looking and performing.
The music is as good as in Remulos.
The location has an altitude, which is double as high as the one of Remulos. This has a great impact on the girls pole and the acoustic.
The Bar is openend each day of the week from six o'clock in the afternoon till 04 o'clock in the morning (Domingo e Segunda-feira a meia-noite).
Actually one of the best bailarina is 'M* V*'.
High End Bars.
Remulos.
The report by Sperto is extraordinary.
I just want to add some information to Remulos.
As questioned before, the correct adress is: Remulo's Club, Rua Lobo D'Alma. 363, Centro | Manaus.
You can't miss it: White façade with red neon sign 'Remulo's Club', long entrance region.
The Entrance fee of 10 REAIS has to be paid to the doorman, on weekend at the box office.
When you enter, you are in Amazon-Paradise.
From Thursday till Saturday the amount of women is with more than 50 Garotas very high.
From 23:00 o'clock on strippers occur in short time slots.
The emergency rooms are first glass. If you want, you can stay in extreme large rooms up to 50 qm with extreme large beds for group sex etc.
One of the best bailarina is 'C*' (Morena) , but she will stay in Rio de Janeiro from January till April 2011.
Crocodilo.
I highly recommend the combination:
Remulos first (pic up a woman there) , Crododilo second and Hotel / Motel third.
Crocodilo is not a Forro Club, as reported earlier, but a club for 'Musica Electronica' (Techno Music).
It is opened on Sunday and when a Luxury-Liner stays at the port.
Especially then you will find the actual as well as the old Garotas de Programa there (a piece of Garota history of Manaus).
Homen at Crocodilo are muito musculoso and often tattooed.
People dance very ecstatic – because – many of them take cocaine.
I'm grateful.
I think it is necessary to stay in all places many hours to see how they change time by time and to get in contact with the great varity and richness of the womens's culture in Manaus.
I treat them all with great respect, even the ones, which don`t have the luck to be well looking.
I wear them in my heart. That is what I take home with me from all of them. Who share with us their paradise.

So just curious as to your report on the non-pro / samba school scene. Are you saying that the Manaus Samba Escolas, are a good place to pickup non-pros? Do you have any examples of any in Samba Escolas Manaus? Addresses? More Info?
Also, how did you do with regards to finding / meeting or picking up girls at any of these places? Basically, did you get lucky or where you there simply to watch the events?
When you enter, you are in Amazon-Paradise.Thank you, Kurt. Nice report.
I was just passing by the ho-area down at the bus station. I will check it out again in one hour. I know it's a bit of hard work finding the gems there.
I have very busy days in Manaus, but I'll give an update shortly. The non-pro scene at the forró clubs continues to be very good. Remulos is still good. Being a Remulos-fan for many years I'm a bit sad that Remulos is loosing in quality. Still lots of girls, but less of these 8-10 points girls that really have to be tried out. Also more girls with a hardcore style only doing CBJ, keeping an eye on the clock and wanting a fortune for doing extras like anal.
BTW, I identified the bunda-girl posted by Littletruths. A short girl with a very nice butt. She was taken just before I had the chance.
Across the street from Remulos opened Dama the Noite. It's the same owner as Remulos. The club opens at 2 PM and close around 9-12 PM I think. I will check it out today. Aquarius is closed, being renovated.
My yearly update on Manaus. Only minor changes.
PRO SCENE *****************************************************
* REMULOS:
Even though Remulos is loosing in quality it continues to be one of the most fun strip clubs in Brazil.
Rua Lobo D'Almada, 363. Two blocks from Teatro Amazonas.
Opens 18-19. Closes late.
Entrance=R$10.
Girl=R$ 50/30 min
Note 1: The girls might ask for R$60-70, but all of them accepts R$ 50/30 minutes. Just negotiate.
Note 2: There are two kinds of girls at Remulos. The "house-girls"/dancers and the freelancers. In general the house-girls gives a better service. Don´t pay in advance.
Note 3: The service has become different. It used to always be BBBJ and often 2 pops in the limit of almost one hour. Now most girls only do CBJ and are stricter about the 30 minutes.
Note 4: Remulos is loosing in quality of the girls. The quality of the girls is still quite good, but not as many stunners as there used to be.
Room=R$ 15 (big clean rooms with AC and jacuzzi)
Beer=R$ 3
Tabledance>R$15
About 40 girls working, including freelancers.
Quality=about 25% doable, a few stunners.
Note 5: You also have the option of Sala Vip, R$ 30. You go to a quickie-room behind the snooker tables and can stay for a period of during 2 songs (about 10 min).
http://www.remulos.com.br/
* AQUARIUS: Strip Club next door to Remulos. Currently closed because of renovations.
* DAMA DA NOITE: A new Strip Club opposite Remulos. It opens around 3 PM and closes before midnight. The owner is the same as of Remulos. Most girls you see here you also see at Remulos.
* BLUE STAR: A Strip Club one block down from Remulos, on the other side of the street. It opens around 3 PM. A bit rough place. Quality varies a lot but usually a few doable girls. Cheaper than Remulos.
* VIP ROOM: A club four doors below Remulos. I never had the opportunity to check it out.
* CENTRO CLUBS, LOW END:
- Close to the port, next to the Banco do Brasil there are two side-treets with lots of bars and strip-clubs. Located behind the bus stop (look for the sign "Hotel Central"). Some of these places are for afternoon/evening action.
- On the first street you´ll find 4 strip clubs:
# Natureza: Small place.
# Mistura Fina: Big place. Tabledances.
# Big House: Big place.
# Aquarella´s Bar: Big place. Tabledances.
None of them charges a entrance fee.
- On the second street you´ll find ho-bars.
# Bar Anaconda
# Bar Holanda
# Bar do Junior
# Diplomata Drinks Bar
# Novo Mania
Note: All of these places are very sleazy and very lowend. Except for a few of the strippers there are almost no doable women. Go there to have fun, but don´t have any high expectations of meeting sexy girls.
- About 95% of the girls are not doable.
- R$ 20-30/30 min, R$ 7-10/room
* STREETWALKERS:
A few streetwalkers in centro. On the two ho-streets and a few close to the Catedral. usually a few pro´s strolling inside the port building. Restaurant Mitoso, Praca do Indio, is no longer a GP-hangout.
There are also some ho-streets spread out in the city. Requires a car and be very careful of what you pick up.

[B]NOTES ON THE MANAUS GIRLS *****************************************************
- You´ll see a lot of really chubby, fat and ugly girls in Manaus. However there is a small percentage (about 10%) of beautiful girls. Some are really breath-taking stunners. Very few beautiful girls over 25 years..
- Be very cautious of the girls ages or you might get yourself into serious trouble.
- Go to Manaus for partying and f*ck around. Don´t expect to meet girls for serious relationships.
- The Manaus girls are the worst in Brazil when it comes to arriving late to dates.

BTW, I identified the bunda-girl posted by Littletruths. A short girl with a very nice butt. She was taken just before I had the chance. Heheheheh, I knew you would! (How couldn't you anyway!)
Just too bad that you didn't have a chance (yet) to hit it as she is one naughty soul.
Cheers

I´ve been to Remulos a couple of times the last 10 days. As I´ve been very busy I mostly visited Remulos on the days with fewer girls working. I´ve only seen your round-butted girl once. Damn, that she was taken just before I had the chance to grab her.

Some recommendations of Remulos girls:
1. Paloma. A really beautiful slim girl, but she has grown some bad attitude. No re-run this year.
2. Mia. A short slim girl with a small delicious round butt. 20 years. Does excellent BBBJ. This girl is very fun and electric. It´s like f*cking the duracell rabbit.
3. Josy. A very cute blonde with a majestatic ass. 18 years. Performs great.
One warning, that goes to Fabiola. A light morena from Sao Paulo with piercings everywhere. When she showed her tits I wanted to cry. Small, saggy and with long soft nipples. Her ass is fine. Her attitude is really bad.

Hi, do you know if there are some cheap furnished apartments in Manaus? I'd like to spend no more than $30-$40 per day.
Thank you!
Hi, do you know if there are some cheap furnished apartments in Manaus? I'd like to spend no more than $30-$40 per day.
Thank you! Yes, there are simple (not always with a kitchen) but decent apartments in centro, ranging from R$50. Look in the classificados or ask around.
If you want cheaper lodging than that I would recommend getting a good deal at a motel. There are several dozens of small motels in centro. Choose one that suits you and that seems safe.

ThanksClassificados in the local Manaus newspapers (and maybe on their sites).
Manaus, update 2011.
My yearly update on Manaus. Only minor changes. Nice Update Sperto. Thanks!
Yes, it is a pity about Paloma, but I'm sure "the twins" will make-up for any lost sentiment you may still have for Paloma.
Hello friends, if you know Manaus and Medellin, I'd l'd like to know your opnion about them. Then I'nd like to know what towns is more expensive between Manaus and Medellin (for fucking).

Hello, friends, if you know Manaus and Medellin, I'd l'd like to know your opnion about them. Then I'nd like to know what towns is more expensive between Manaus and Medellin (for fucking).
Thank you! Poturu,
I don't know the specific going rate in Manaus, but having done my share of mongering in Rio and a few places in the Northeast, and reading through much of the Brazil section and seeing the going rates in many of the cities, I can take a fair guess at the range.
I'm familiar with the going rates in Medellin. 25-40K pesos on La Mayorista, a little more than that for most of the casas. 100-250K for Mansion girls, strippers at San Diego and other strip clubs, and upwards of 300K for more "premium" chicas.
For GFE and attitude, I think Brazil is generally better. As far as looks, I kind of prefer Colombian chicas.
I kind of like the great variety of scenes and options for hobbying in Medellin too. It can be a lot more accessible for a newbie, especially when staying at CB.
Pricewise, I think Medellin wins hands down, especially the way the US vs. Real exchange rate is going.

Some very recent info and some VERY old info, without comments, IMO totally worthless. TYFM.
Just beeline to the Catholic cathedral at the riverfront. The surrounding area is full of possibilities.
For those entertaining dreams about snagging a regular garota, a likely place to make such dreams come true is the cruiseship terminal. The ground floor occupies a beergarden with incredible loud music. People drinking from 5 liter containers of beer. Lots of young ones, ready to trot. Go early. By 8:30 pm the action is pretty much over.
Between the terminal and the cathedral is the downtown bus terminal which has some strolling tramps. Also there is the downtown redlight district with cheap hotels, high-mileage harlots and a variety of steamy night spots (steamy meaning unairconditioned). I don't know about prices. All I can say that most were nasty.
I did see two women on the street with sparkles in their eyes: one appeared to be a regular woman who apparently was looking for love. Not finding it she finally took a communal taxi with her shopping bags. The other one was a middle-aged charmer. We smiled, passed, and both of us looked back. End of the story.
Language is the real problem in Manaus and in the rest of Brazil. If you have the language, you can hit regular girls and take them -- I'm sure they'll guide you -- into love motels and love hotels that can be found even in the smallest towns. In one Amazon river town I spotted two such establishments from the highway. One was called Snoopy, the other Extasy.
Just beeline to the Catholic cathedral at the riverfront. The surrounding area is full of possibilities.Vittu Perkele, nothing else to report about Manaus, except the most seedy clubs in town?
I'm curious about news.
Sperto. This may have been said once but needs to be said a thousand times: In Brazil, unless you speak Portuguese, you are fucked, and not in a nice way. Sure you can get laid in places that are well covered on this Forum. But you really need the lingo, like nowhere else I have been.

Back in Manaus last week, Sperto is right, Remulus has really, really changed, and not for the better. Came in on a Sunday night, around 9 PM. I know, I know, day and time wasnt perfect, but have done it in the past with good success. About a 20 to 1 guy-girl ratio, and really only a couple of doables ones there at that time. The quality of girls has sunked. I was very disaapointed and left after 45 minutes. Had a smoke outside while weighing my options and several girls started arriving. But not the same quality as it used to be, except for one very nice round little ass in a pair of tight jeans.
In the Aquarium next door, some of the girls were standing outside, one looked very nice from a distance so I walked up there. A beautiful girl, a true stunner somewhere in the 17-19 range, so a no-go for me, not taking any chances on kiddie stuff.
It did inspire me, though, and I went back into Remulus and found the nice ass in jeans. Bia was her name. 28 yrs old, morena. Face looks 28, but she has a killer body and knows how to use it. 50R for BBBJ and covered FS, excellent fun. Very athletic.
Sad to see the falling down of Remulus.

Currently in Manaus found a couple of ads in the newspaper for apartments but was wondering if anyone had any info they would like to share regarding apartments and location.A good apartment at a reasonable price in Manaus might be hard to find. That's one of the few informations I won't share on the forum. Specially not if it's a member since 2004, who has shared no information at all, who are asking.
Check the classificados.

if anyone has the name and number of a girl who would see me in the daytime in mao, i would be appreciative. minha namorada works during the day, but in all the years i have been in manaus, i have yet to figure out where to find daytime action.
obviously, nightime is a different story there, but my girl wants me with her at night. i have met regular girls at dances and met sweethearts (albeit true pros) in remulus and near the teatro in the street. and regular girls are easy to score with when your regular squeeze isn't peeking over your shoulder.
i have looked at the classifieds, but there are no photos and this is always hit or miss. any and all suggestions are welcome.
by the way, i was in remulus a few months ago, and the quality of the women that were there was fine. the real problem is that there are so many men, most of whom are not interested in actually paying to have sex with the girls. the ratio can literally be 20:1 at times. so many of the guys are into lap dances and this tabe thing they do where the guys give the girls money to dance while they rub their bundas and occasionally kiss their cus. these guys have no money to pay for sex, and they just make the dynamic less than satisfactory for me.
If anyone has the name and number of a girl who would see me in the daytime in MAO, I would be appreciative. Minha namorada works during the day, but in all the years I have been in Manaus, I have yet to figure out where to find daytime action. You could try Blue Star, a block down from Remulos. Opens around 3 PM. Don't expect to much. Another option would be the low-end clubs behind the bus station in centro. Expect even less quality.

I usually meet the forró-dates during the day, but that wouldn't be a good option for you as you have a namorada.
Try dating a Remulos girl during daytime or ask a taxi-driver where to find a brothel.

Spent a few days in Manaus back in September, did 24 year old at Remulos but I did not like the scene at the club not my style. The club is a bit trashy for my taste but the rooms upstairs were clean and big. Went to club Kiss this is more my taste an upscale place with a higher end product. The club has pool table, strip shows, and room upstairs though I went to a nearby hotel I could have took her back to my hotel but I had a roommate. The club has alot of beautiful women from all over Brazil. Cost for 3 hours 200 brazil dollars. The apartment scene in Manus is a hard nut to crack I was planning to spend alot more time in Manaus before coming to Fortaleza but could not find decent accomadations for a month or so without paying ridiculous hotel prices.

Another yearly update on Manaus.
PRO SCENE *****************************************************
* REMULOS:
Lets start with the Remulos Strip Club. As I mentioned before Remulos have lost a lot in quality over the last years and keeps loosing even more, but it's still a very fun and relaxed strip club. I´ve been very busy in Manaus with the non-pro scene so I only visited Remulos on the slower days (Sunday-Wednesday). Twice I sessioned and twice I went there without finding anything interesting at all.
Rua Lobo D'Almada, 363. Two blocks from Teatro Amazonas.
Opens 18-19. Closes late.
The Remulos lanchonette on the outside have quite good food.
Entrance=R$10.
Girl=R$ 50/30 min
Note 1: The girls ask for R$50-70, but all of them accepts R$ 50/30 minutes. Just negotiate. Don't pay in advance.
Note 2: There are two kinds of girls at Remulos. The "house-girls"/dancers and the freelancers. In general the house-girls gives a better service.
Note 3: The service has become different. It used to always be BBBJ and often 2 pops in the limit of almost one hour. Now most girls only do CBJ and are stricter about the 30 minutes. If the chemistry is right the 30 minutes can turn into one hour.
Note 4: Remulos is loosing in quality of the girls. The quality of the girls is still decent, but much less stunners. It's tough for firm-tits-lovers as most of the girls have kids.
Note 5: During my four visits I only saw a handful of girls that I considered to session with. The quality could be better on a weekend.
Room=R$ 15 (big clean rooms with AC and jacuzzi). The rooms next to the reception are the nicest and biggest.
Beer=R$ 3,5
Tabledance>R$15
About 30 girls working, including freelancers.
Quality=about 15% doable, a few stunners.
http://www.remulos.com.br/
* AQUARIUS/MISTURA: Next to Remulos. Reopened. I didn't go inside this year.
* DAMA DA NOITE: A Strip Club opposite Remulos. It opens around 3 PM and closes before midnight. The owner is the same as of Remulos. They have better rooms than Remulos.
* BLUE STAR: A Strip Club one block down from Remulos, on the other side of the street. It opens around 3 PM. A rough and ugly place. Not impressive, but it can be fun to check out in the afternoon.
* VIP ROOM: A club four doors below Remulos. I didn't enter.
* CENTRO CLUBS, VERY LOW END:
The girls looks just awful. Propably many drugaddicted GP's.
It's fun to check out and have a beer but don't expect to find any doable girls.
- R$ 20-30/30 min, R$ 7-10/room
* STREETWALKERS:
In Centro you'll find streetwalkers on the two streets mentioned above and a couple close to the Cathedral. All ugly.
If there is a cruiser in Manaus there are usually some free-lancers in the port building. Can be worth checking out.
There are lots of avenidas spread out all over Manaus that have streetwalkers. Not recommended. It requires a car and be extremely careful of what you pick up.
NONPRO SCENE *****************************************************
* Manaus is still one of the best cities in Brazil for non-pro action. Excellent nightlife, and very easy to meet non-pro's.
* CLUB LIST.
Note 1: The club list is far from complete. Several new places have opened which I didn´t bother to visit and they are not on the list. It´s always good to get a current update from a taxidriver on the forró-situation.
Note 2: Not all the places mentioned are clubs.
Note 3: Some of the clubs are good and some are bad. Most are forró-clubs. Some are a bit classy and others are vagabundo-style. Find out for yourself.
# Monday:
- Balneario do Cia
# Tuesday:
- Emporio Pizza Bar
# Wednesday:
- Forró da Cida Drinks
# Thursday:
- Ladeira do Forró. The old Ladeira has closed (sadly). The new replacement lies in Coroado. Tell the driver to go Assua.
# Friday:
- Chariot
- Bragaca
- Celeiro Country
- Asa
- Calçadâo
# Saturday:
- Planeta Talisma
- Maloka
- Cabanas
- Legiao 300
# Sunday:
- Xote de Menina (I heard they are temporarily closed)
- Crocodilo
- Praça do Caranguejo
* Notes on the clubs above:
- Entrances about R$10-20. Beer >R$3.
- Many of them are either located in Tarumã or Cidade Nova.
- If you want to save some money you can take a bus going to the club.
Cidade Nova: bus 300 or 640, Ponta Negra: bus 120
- Taxi: depends on the location. Don't go by the taxi-meter, or it will be very expensive. Negotiate hard.
E.g Cidade Nova to Centro should cost R$20-25. Tarumã is more expensive.
NOTES ON THE MANAUS GIRLS *****************************************************
- There are very many ugly girls in Manaus. Chubby, fat and ugly girls of a strange mixture. Go for the small percentage (about 10%) of beautiful girls. You can find some 10-points stunners in Manaus.
- Most people in Manaus don't care about keeping themselfes in shape. It's very sad to see. They are lazy and likes to stuff their heads with faroffa and getting even fatter. Most girls over 25 years are built like elephants.
- If you bring a girl back home from a club, be very sure to check her ID before.
- The best girls in Manaus, the beautiful ones with class don't hang out in the forró clubs. Search for them elsewhere.
- Be prepared that the Manaus girls are the worst in Brazil when it comes to arriving in time for dates.
- Also be prepared to meet many really dumb people in Manaus. You'll understand what I mean when you get here.

If you go to the forró clubs in Manaus you'll see a very annoying behaviour that is very typical for Manaus. When you visit the men's room you'll notice that 80% of the guys don't use the lavatorypan or the urinal. They do enter the men's room but [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) on the walls, floor and in the sink even though there is plenty of space at the urinal. This behaviour really pisses me off.

Hi friends, I don't know Manaus. I'm more than 50 years old but not bad and I'd like to know how probabilities there are to come back to my apartment or hotel with a beautiful girl giving her US $100 for 3 hours. I prefer no-pro or semi-pro. I speak enough portuguese. I like to understand better.
I thank you for some news.

I thank you for some news.It depends very much on yourself. At the forró-clubs the competition for the beautiful girls are hard.
It can be an advantage being a gringo I Manaus, but 50-plus propably means that you have to go for pro's or piranhas who occasionally f*cks gringos for money.
However there is still hope, I know at least two gringos (who are 50-plus) and they go regulary to Manaus and gets some non-pro's for free.
Not much action in this forum. I may be going there in June and would like to check out the girls. Is Manaus a safe city? Say, safer than Rio? Also, if any of you have taken a boat trip down the Amazon, could you please post or PM some info? Thank you! Yes, I did RTFF.
One more thing: if any of you will be in Manaus June 15-22 or so, please PM me.

i have twice taken the transtur (http://transturperu.vilabol.uol.com.br/reservas2.htm) speedboat from iquitos (peru) to tabatinga / leticia (brasil/colombia) which took about 12 very boring hours. the normal boats with hammocks are a lot slower. there is nothing to see except the same trees over and over again and a lot of water.

Manaus is much safer than Rio.
If you're planning to go Manaus-Belém by boat, bring a lot of books. It will definitely not be an exciting wild-life adventure.
In Manaus there are plenty of guys selling boat-tickets.
Thank you, David and Sperto. Other than the obvious, my main interest is wildlife. Sounds like there is not much to see?
What's the quality of girls like?
Thanks again!
Thank you, David and Sperto. Other than the obvious, my main interest is wildlife. Sounds like there is not much to see?
I'm very interested in wildlife, nature and fishing. If you take one of the common jungle trips in Manaus you might be very disappointed. You'll visit the Eco-parque, fish piranhas, look for jacarés and do a "jungle-walk". The problems are too large groups, too large boats that don't enter the small rivers and just too touristy and crappy. I hate those trips.
To enjoy the wildlife in the Amazon you'll have to get far away from Manaus and into the small side-rivers in a very small group. I had (he has changed phone number now) a very good contact who used to train the brazilian army in jungle warfare. He did trips with up to three people. No comfort at all, very much survival-trips bringing almost no food, eating turtles, jacarés and other unmentionable animals. Great experience! With a guide like that you'll experience nice Amazon wild-life.
If you want to enjoy wildlife in an easy way, go to the Pantanal.

Thanks again for your helpful advise.

Whatever you do, don't hook up with any of the jungle-tours hustlers waiting for gringos at the airport. Check out the tour-agencies in centro.
These standard jungle tours are just too awful! You pass the meeting of the waters, stop at the eco-parque (walk on a short trail where thousands of tourists walk every month and take a photo of the same vitória-régia as countless of other tourists have done before), fish piranhas (no sport at all), go alligator-spotting with a torch-light (the guide will go in the water and pick up a baby-alligator (often tied up before-hand) so everybody can hold him), go for a jungle-walk (the guide will show you a rubber-tree and a "drum-tree") and meeting "native indians".
For sure you'll see animals, mostly captured ones; Sloths, snakes, monkeys and araras.
Skip one day of the jungle-tour and go to Remulos and check out amazonian strippers.
Have fun. ;)
Not much action in this forum. I may be going there in June and would like to check out the girls. Is Manaus a safe city? Say, safer than Rio? Also, if any of you have taken a boat trip down the Amazon, could you please post or PM some info? Thank you! Yes, I did RTFF.
One more thing: if any of you will be in Manaus June 15-22 or so, please PM me.Crypton, if it is possible to you, change your schedule, and go one week later, or stay one week more.
Parintins festival Bumba meu Boi starts in 29:th of Jun until and ends in 1:st of Jun. Parintins is 400 kilometers from Manaus downstream. That is something really different that you cannot see anywhere else, and in my opinion Carneval in Salvador and Parintins festival are two best parties that I know.
It is not easy to find housing in Parintins, you have to know people. And it may be too late to get flights. Going there by boat is part of the fun, you are drinking and many people dancing in the top of the boat, but getting back by boat against the stream is slow.
But still, consider visiting there. You are already in Manaus if you went there in June 15, so you hear everybody talking about festival.
Mongering in festival is difficult, most of the girls from Manaus are bars go there also but how to find them, half of the Manaus is there.
But still it is fun, and lifetime experiense. They may rob your wallet and camera there, also all the thieves of Manaus are there.
If it is possible for you, go there. Maybe you can ask some travel agency to arrange flights / apartments in Parintins? But you have to pay gringo prizes of course. And very few people in Parintins speak english, so Portugueze is kind of necessity.
You can read more about Parintins festival from internet. Parintins is island with town, one hundred thousand people, during festival population double.
Anyone try any escorts in Manaus?
Went to Remulos last night (Tuesday). Thanks to Sperto and others who put together some terrific information. Got there about 10 PM. I have no idea what it used to be like, but it seemed pretty sleazy to me. Quite a few guys and may be 25 gals. Both strippers and freelancers. The quality was pretty mediocre. In my own subjective scale, there were no girls above a 6. I got myself a Skol ($R4) after paying the $R 10 entrance. Sat down and watched a few strippers. Again none that hot. They seemed to be in their late 20s. Walked around to check out the girls. Most were just standing around drinking. Most guys seemed to be there just hanging. Gawking. At least my excuse is that it was my first time! Anyway, after a while, I decided to get a table dance (I had to wait and see the protocol because my Portugese is non existent). Approached one scantily clad stripper and fortunately she spoke a tiny bit of English. She wanted 30 and I said 20 to which she agreed right away. We went to a corner and she started dancing. Across a few tables, she noticed that some guy was taking pictures with his cell phone. She told him no and he would not stop. So, she excused herself and went over to the guy along with a bouncer. He warned the guy. So she came back. She was naked this whole time. She did one more song after apologizing to me. The great thing about table dances here is that you can touch them every where. Including pussy. Not bad for US$10! In the USA you cannot get anywhere near them for 5 times the money. Anyway. I groped her quite a bit and had some fun. Waited another 10 min and saw a black stripper (light skinned). She had a nice ass. So. Went to the same corner with her. She did a great job. 3 songs or so. She was rubbing her pussy in my face. Played with her tits and ass the whole time. She is almost doable. Actually for US$25 for 30 min, it's not a bad deal. Might partake tonight. Have not decided yet.
None of the freelancers caught my fancy, however. At least some of them are on drugs for sure. Will be checking out another club tonight and will post tomorrow.
Cheers.

Crypton; I would suggest Kiss Night Club. It is a more "up scale". Get the bottle service. Sit back, relax. When you find the right girl, make I contact. From there you can decide. There has always been plenty to choose from. Typically, I have taken one out of the club for an overnighter. 300us. Never had one leave before 10am. I have even spent the next day with them. Good luck.
Just got back from Dama the Noite. What a shithole! The place smells bad. Kinda like a stinky pussy. I think you all know what I mean. I look up to the ceiling and there is mold. Went in there about 5:30. $R10 entry and $R4 beer cans. It was semi crowded with about 20 girls. Most were strippers and a few freelancers. Most strippers were either fat, ugly, or both. Two song dances. They also do table dances; did not bother. If it is even possible, this is a sleazier version of Remulos. Did not sample any merchandise on display. This girl with a HUGE ass. And I mean huge. Came up to me and wanted me to take her upstairs. I told her I did not speak Portugese. And then she asked if I spoke Spanish. I said a little. She went away eventually. This is a great ploy. Act like you don't understand and they go away eventually.
Cheers.
Crypton,
Remulos has lost a lot in quality the last years, but it could be worth visiting more than one evening. If you found Dama the noite sleazy, you should avoid the strip-clubs behind Banco do Brasil in the port-area.
Today is Friday, head to one of the forró-clubs. Yu could also try your luck in the bars in the large port-building.
Looking forward to more reports.

US$ 300, that's about a months salary, R$ 618. That's very generous.
No wonder they would stay the next day, milking the cow...

I am pretty green to the area. It definitely sounds like I over spent. But. It was a good time.

Looking forward to more reports.Thank you guys. Unfortunately, I am about teave Manaus in an hour or so. I did go back to Remulos two nights in a row (Wednesday and Thursday). Actually did a girl on Wednesday. I think she said her name was Sao. She had a great body. Slim but not too thin and a great ass. Small tits. Face was not so great. About a 4. Way too much make up on. She claimed 1 hour for R$50. I didn't believe her of course. Anyway. Went upstairs, paid up and went into the room. Large room with porn playing on TV. With mirrors on the ceiling and a couple of walls. Well, once we got in the room, she asked for money. Given my lack of Portugese, could not argue. I gave it to her. Then she opened up her ass and asked me if I wanted to fuck it. I am not a big anal fan. But before I could answer, she said that would be extra money. And also mentioned CBJ (as it turns out) being extra as well. I said no. Was getting pissed but was horny. Anyway, dragged her into bed and started feeling her up. She did have a nice body but she was also lactating. Never would have guessed given how small her tits were. So. Naturally, she wouldn't let me touch them or suck on the nipples. Played with her pussy for a bit (pierced clit) and then she opened up a condom. She gave a brief CBJ and then hopped on RC. After a few minutes I put her on all fours and banged her from behind. Then did missionary for a while and finally finished. She had a pretty tight pussy and nice body. Overall, not a great experience. Very rushed. When we were done, she sprayed me with her milk! ;-)
Went back Thursday just to hang out and watch the scene. No intention of doing anyone. After 3-4 days, it becomes pretty routine. One stripper was pretty kinky. Putting fingers inside both her holes and licking them, pulling her pussy lips apart, etc. Wanted to do a table dance with her but could not find her later.
I find not speaking the language is a big barrier. Both in terms of establishing a chemistry and negotiating. Basically I felt I like busted a nut and that's all. Guess could be worse for US$30 or so.
I am back to Quito for a couple of days and then back home. To the land of milk and honey. But no sex! .
Thanks to all you guys (esp. Sperto) for responding to my posts. Sorry I do not have any pics to post.
Cheers.
She claimed 1 hour for R$50.You did well. Most Remulos-girls would charge R$50/30 minutes.
No jungle-trip?

No wonder they would stay the next day, milking the cow.You nailed it. A girl I know makes R$650 / mo. Working at a clothing store. Before taxes. She visits me for R$200 a throw and seems to like to come over a lot! .
You did well. Most Remulos-girls would charge R$50/30 minutes.
No jungle-trip?I did a jungle trip. Got to Manaus June 15 late at night. Next morning left for Juma river and stayed in a lodge for 3 nights. Did lot of canoeing. Including the standard evening and early morning ones as well as day time. Spent a night in the forest camping. Did some hikes as well. Saw tons of birds, two kinds of dolphins. 4 different kinds of monkeys, etc. Not a real roughing it in the jungle. More touristy. But I was happy for my first visit to the Amazon.
She did say one hour.but she was rushing it. It lasted 30 min anyway. One I got done, she quickly got dressed! So consider it 50/3o min!
Cheers.
Yet another yearly update on Manaus. Very much information is the same as last year and some have changed.
PRO SCENE *****************************************************
* REMULOS:
I´ve mentioned before that Remulos Strip Club have lost in quality. This year the quality wasn´t worse than last year, actually the quality improved a little bit. Unfortunately more silicontits than before. Most of the beautiful girls are Remulos veterans, not many new girls. Lovely Paloma is gone. The Remulos queen Rafaela is back. Now with bigger tits (actually natural). The atmosphere is fun and relaxed.
Rua Lobo D'Almada, 363. Two blocks from Teatro Amazonas.
Opens 18-19. Closes late.
The Remulos lanchonette on the outside have quite good food.
Entrance=R$10.
Girl=R$ 60/30 min (can be negotiated)
Note 1: There are two kinds of girls at Remulos. The "house-girls"/dancers and the freelancers. In general the house-girls gives a better service.
Note 2: The service has become different. It used to always be BBBJ and often 2 pops in the limit of almost one hour. Now most girls only do CBJ and are stricter about the 30 minutes. If the chemistry is right the 30 minutes can turn into one hour.
Room=R$ 15 (big clean rooms with AC and jacuzzi). The rooms next to the reception are the nicest and biggest.
Tabledance>R$25
About 50 girls working, including freelancers.
Quality=about 20% doable, a few stunners.
http://www.remulos.com.br/
* DAMA DA NOITE: A Strip Club opposite Remulos. It opens around 3 PM and closes before midnight. The owner is the same as of Remulos. They have better rooms than Remulos.
* BLUE STAR: A Strip Club one block down from Remulos, on the other side of the street. It opens around 3 PM. A rough and ugly place. Not impressive, but it can be fun to check out in the afternoon.
* CENTRO CLUBS, VERY LOW END:
- Close to the port, next to the Banco do Brasil there are two side-treets with lots of bars and strip-clubs. Located behind the bus stop (look for the sign "Hotel Central"). Some of these places are for afternoon/evening action.
- All these places are extremely low end. They are fun to visit, but don´t expect doable girls.
- On the first street you´ll find 4 strip clubs:
# Natureza: Small place.
# Mistura Fina: Big place. Tabledances.
# Big House: Big place.
# Aquarella´s Bar: Big place. Tabledances.
None of them charges a entrance fee.
- On the second street you´ll find ho-bars.
# Bar Anaconda
# Bar Holanda
# Bar do Junior
# Diplomata Drinks Bar
# Novo Mania
- R$ 30/30 min, R$ 7-10/room
* STREETWALKERS:
This year I had unusual good luck with the non-pro´s. So good luck that I neglected Remulos.
* CLUB AND NIGHTLIFE LIST.
Note 1: The list is not complete. New places opens all the time and old places changes names or close down. It´s always good to get a current update from a taxidriver on the forró-situation.
Note 2: Some of the clubs are good and some are bad. Most are forró-clubs. Some are a bit classy and others are vagabundo-style. I have my favourite clubs. One reason they are good is because no gringos finds these places. Which Clubs that are my favourites I keep to myself.
# Monday:
- Balneario do Cia
# Tuesday:
- Emporio Pizza Bar
# Wednesday:
- Forró da Cida Drinks
# Thursday:
- Ladeira do Forró. Tell the driver to go Assua.
# Friday:

- Calçadâo
# Saturday:
- Planeta Talisma
- Maloka
- Cabanas
- Legiao 300
- Faculdade do Forró
# Sunday:
- Xote de Menina
- Crocodilo
- Praça do Caranguejo
* Notes on the clubs above:
- Entrances about R$20. Beer >R$3.
- Many of them are either located in Tarumã or Cidade Nova.
- If you want to save some money you can take a bus going to the club. Cidade Nova: bus 300 or 640.
- Taxi: depends on the location. Don't go by the taxi-meter, or it will be very expensive. Negotiate hard.
E.g Cidade Nova to Centro should cost R$30. Tarumã is more expensive.
NOTES ON THE MANAUS GIRLS *******************************************
- The bad news is that the average Manaus girl isn´t beautiful. There are lots of fat and ugly chubbies. The good news is that the small percentage (about 10%) of beautiful girls can be 10-points stunners. It´s hard to find goodlooking girls over 25 years in Manaus. Be prepared that many people in Manaus are very lazy and dumb.
- Be very cautious to check ID´s on the girls you meet or you might get yourself in big trouble.
- You´ll soon notice that the girls have the habit of asking for beer and drinks in quite a rude way. Ignore them.
- The best girls in Manaus, the beautiful ones with class don't hang out in the forró clubs. Search for them elsewhere.
- Make sure to take many phone numbers when you go the clubs. Spend the days dating the girls. Be prepared that the Manaus girls are the worst in Brazil when it comes to arriving in time for dates. When dating always have a plan B and C. Date two or three each day and at least one should turn up.
I second most everything you write about Manaus, it is a wonderful place if you speak passable portugese and have been around the block once or twice before. Not for green horns!
I see you list Balneario do Cia on mondays. It used to be one of my favourite forro clubs but a friend told me they closed down last year. Are they back in business now?
Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hi guys!
I am on my way to Manaus in December. How is the situation there, anything new to share?
The famous Rêmulos strip club was closed by the prefeitura, in the operation Centro Seguro, in the beginning of December. Missing the proper permission, no fire exits and the police found drugs in some rooms.
The prefeitura closed the entrance with a large brick wall.
http://www.blogmarcossantos.com.br/2013/12/07/prefeitura-constroi-muro-na-entrada-da-boate-remulos-para-evitar-funcionamento-de-motel-ilegal/
http://www.portaldoholanda.com.br/node/582713#.UrvZJbQ6Uc8
The brick wall was taken down a few days later, but Rêmulos remained closed.
http://www.blogmarcossantos.com.br/2013/12/09/justica-derruba-muro-construido-pela-prefeitura-mas-mantem-remulos-fechado/
Without doubt the owner of Rêmulos, Lobo Mau (Bad Wolf) , will reopen the club.
I used to be a big fan om Rêmulos. However as the quality of Rêmulos declined and the supply of free p*ssy in Manaus is great I were not a big Rêmulos-consumer on my last trip. Still Rêmulos is just about the wildest strip-club in Brazil and it would be a shame if they closed it down permanently. I'll be there in Manaus in 9 days and I'll check it out.
Manaus, update 2014.
Time for another yearly update on Manaus. This time a lot of things have changed in Manaus. The ones who have visited Manaus before will notice that the city is going through many changes. The city has closed many hotels, pousadas, motels, bars and clubs. Some of the best clubs are gone. In centro several bars and lanchonettes that used to be good hangouts are demolished.
As nobody else bothers to gives updates on Manaus I don't bother mentioning all the changes. You can look at my update from last year and find out the changes yourself.

I´ll just give you a short update with just some of the changes.
PRO SCENE *****************************************
* REMULOS:
Remulos was closed in the beginning of Decenber and opened 3 days later. Remulos was again closed last Thursday, big news in local TV. It opened one day later. Don´t worry if Remulos is temporary closed.
I´ve been there 3 times the last 10 days, only sessioned once.
The quality continues more or less the same. A handful very doable girls, some stunners, and a whole bunch of heavy non-doable girls. It´s a fun place, specially on Friday and Saturday.
Rua Lobo D'Almada, 363. Two blocks from Teatro Amazonas.
Opens around 7 PM. Closes late.
Entrance=R$20 (doubled the price since last year).
Girl=R$ 40-50/30-60 min (ALL the girls can be negotiated)
Note 1: There are two kinds of girls at Remulos. The "house-girls"/dancers and the freelancers.
Note 2: Negotiate all details before going upstairs. The time, BBBJ and anal or not.
Note 3: Because of better economy more local guys are sessioning than before. If you see a girl you like, grab her quickly.
Room=R$ 15 (big clean rooms with AC and some with jacuzzi). The rooms next to the reception are the nicest and biggest.
Tabledance>R$25
About 50 girls working, including freelancers.
Quality=about 10% doable, a few stunners.

See the update from last year, which is not up-to-date.
NONPRO SCENE **************************************
* Manaus continues to be one of the best cities in Brazil for non-pro action. Great nightlife, and very easy to meet non-pro's. If you stay for some time you can get yourself a harem with non-progirls that will satisfy all your needs.
* CLUB AND NIGHTLIFE LIST.
Lots of changes have taken place. Several clubs are closed, new ones have opened and some clubs have changed names.
Look at the list from last year and find out the changes the hard way.
NOTES ON THE MANAUS GIRLS *******************************************
- The average Manaus girl is short, overweighted, lazy, dumb and quite ugly. Forget the ugly ones and go for the minority who are beautiful. Manaus have some real stunners.
- Be very careful with the girls ages. Don´t let the appearance fool you. Make sure to check ID´s or you´ll get to know the local police.
- Be prepared that many girls in the forró clubs comes up to you asking for you to buy them beer or Skarloff. Don´t waste your money on these girls.
- The best girls in Manaus you´ll not find in the forró clubs.
- Date many girls but don´t expect her to come in time. They are without comparising the worst girls in Brazil to date as they always comes too late, if they do show up. Always have a plan A, B and C.

http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?564-Manaus&p=1376880&viewfull=1#post1376880
I'll just give you a short update with just some of the changes.
PRO SCENE *
* REMULOS:
Remulos was closed in the beginning of Decenber and opened 3 days later. Remulos was again closed last Thursday, big news in local TV. It opened one day later. Don't worry if Remulos is temporary closed.
I've been there 3 times the last 10 days, only sessioned once.
The quality continues more or less the same. A handful very doable girls, some stunners, and a whole bunch of heavy non-doable girls. It's a fun place, specially on Friday and Saturday.
Rua Lobo D'Almada. 363.
Tabledance R$25.
About 50 girls working, including freelancers.
Quality=about 10% doable, a few stunners.
http://www.remulos.com.br
* Other GP-clubs:
See the update from last year, which is not up-to-date.
NONPRO SCENE *
* Manaus continues to be one of the best cities in Brazil for non-pro action. Great nightlife, and very easy to meet non-pro's. If you stay for some time you can get yourself a harem with non-progirls that will satisfy all your needs.
* CLUB AND NIGHTLIFE LIST.
Lots of changes have taken place. Several clubs are closed, new ones have opened and some clubs have changed names.
Look at the list from last year and find out the changes the hard way.
NOTES ON THE MANAUS GIRLS *
- The average Manaus girl is short, overweighted, lazy, dumb and quite ugly. Forget the ugly ones and go for the minority who are beautiful. Manaus have some real stunners.
- Be very careful with the girls ages. Don't let the appearance fool you. Make sure to check I'd's or you'll get to know the local police.
- Be prepared that many girls in the forró clubs comes up to you asking for you to buy them beer or Skarloff. Don't waste your money on these girls.
- The best girls in Manaus you'll not find in the forró clubs.
- Date many girls but don't expect her to come in time. They are without comparising the worst girls in Brazil to date as they always comes too late, if they do show up. Always have a plan A, B and C.Great report Sperto!
I'm glad to hear that Remulos is open again. It's still one of the best strip clubs in Brazil.
Your description about the Manauara girls is absolutly correct, I only found Manaus's stunners working in São Paulo.
I'm planning to go to Manaus next May.

Passed by Remulos yesterday as well. Nothing better to do on a Monday. A group of four freelancers entered Remulos yesterday. Absolutely outstanding girls. All four 18-20 years, real stunners, beautiful faces, very nicely dressed in sexy dresses and skirts that just covered their intimate parts, slim bodies and tight round asses. I fell in love instantly with two of them. No way to negotiate these four girls below R$70. Sessioned with the cutest one, Nicole. Fantastic session.

But you're right. Remulos is still the number one place. Also the other club across the street (can't remember the name) , who belongs to the same owner has some good chicks.
R$ 70 is good rate, you'll never can get a real cute one in a Boite in Sampa for this amout. Normally I pay 1/2 h. but it lasts 45 to 50 minutes.
Did Nicole BBBJTC? How is she ? Mulata, morena, índia or cafuza ?
Abraços amigo.

ABGThe club across the street is Dama da Noite. It seems closed at the moment.
ABG, Nicole is a morena with just enough of indian blood to give her a exotic look. Very beautiful girl with a face like a model. The only negative was that she gives CBJ.
I'll have no time to check out the privés in Manaus. Right now I'm very busy having fun with non-pro's. It's getting crazy as they present their amigas who also wants to have sex with a blueeyed gringo as well. All this and dates with forró-girls and horny neighbour girls is almost getting to much.
I leave for Ceará tonight.

Hello people, I just wanted to share a question sent by a punter and my reply to him. I hope it helps.
Question: "Hello, I saw your post about brazil. I have a settlement coming and I was thinking of living in brazil for awhile. I want to go somewhere besides Rio. I was wondering if you think parts of brazil are good for finding a girlfriend instead mongering? Maybe, Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza or brasilia. Do you know if these places are too violent or too expensive? Thanks.
Answer:
In first place, let me tell you that I have been everywhere in Brasil but only have a good knowledge of Manaus because my beast friend lives there and I've spent a lot of time there. I've been to Fortaleza, Recife, Rio, Salvador and Sao Paulo"
Brazil is good for both, you can monger and you can also get a good, sexy GF. Brazilian girls are very warm, horny, loving, but also can be very, very jealous. In my experience, the easiest city to get non GDP girls is Manaus, you can go to the Malls, street parties, to the dance venues and hook up really quick with a sexy, young local. But you can get normal girls anywhere in Brasil. It requires you doing your part, which is learning some Portuguese before you go and PRACTICING IT.
For living in Brazil, the safest city is Manaus in the Amazon, it has the best indicators in terms of crime and that's a fact. Now, safety is a relative term because most of the time depends on behavior, on people not doing stupid things. Read the section about safety and look for the guidelines at the beginning.
Brazil got very expensive with the rise of their currency. When it was R3 for US$1, was pretty cheap, but now it is quite expensive, however, the currency tends to devaluate which is good news for tourists.
In general, manual service or labor is pretty cheap like mechanics or maids, imports are very expensive like designer clothing or apple stuff, rent is cheaper than the US provided you don't live in Leblon and the best Rio / SP areas. In Manaus rent is very, very low, an apartment in Centro, where my friend lives, maybe around US$200 for a 3/2 townhouse. Food is about the same as the US but with a maid preparing your food ends up being cheap.
Now, I would choose a city where you know people or have friends. If you don't know anybody, then start with a city with a large ex-pat community, make some friends, learn from them and after a while you can go on your own and explore the rest of Brasil.
I hope this helps.
By the way, where are you from? I am from Miami, FL

Planning on spending 3 days in Manaus. Can someone tell of a good girlfriendly hotel thats located by all the action? Thanks
Planning on spending 3 days in Manaus. Can someone tell of a good girlfriendly hotel thats located by all the action? ThanksThe majority of the hotels are in centro. I doubt you'll have problems bringing girls if you pay a extra fee.
Action? If you mean the forró clubs they are spread out over the city, almost none in centro. Prepare yourself for taxi-rides.
If you mean action as P4P, the main attraction, Remulos, is located close to Teatro Amazonas. It's a 5 min quick walk from downtown centro.
There are lots of hotels in centro. Take a quick walk and choose one you like.

Hi everyone / moderator:
My best friend has a huge 6500 sq ft luxury house which he wants to lease / rent for the WORLD CUP with 5 rooms near the FIFA FAN FEST in Manaus. I would like to know if I can publish here in the ISG the characteristic of the house and the terms.
If not, can I publish in another thread here in the ISG?
Can anybody help me where else I can look for potencial customers? I am looking to target Italians, English, Portuguese and Americans fans.
Thanks in advance.

Please go to the Classified Ads section to see details. ThanksVery nice house, PMR. A house with good potential for parties. Imagine visiting a bunch of the best forró clubs in Manaus and hand out invitations to all the most beautiful girls. I guess the rent will be a small fortune during the World Cup.
Sperto,
Thanks for the info. I plan on booking a hotel before my wingman and I arrive in Manaus. I'm live in NYC, I'm use to and like taking cabs.

You wouldn't believe the pieces of crap being rented for R$1, 000-3, 000. Take a look:
http://www.aluguetemporada.com.br/ferias/brasil/manaus/r29549
Now, it'd be an ideal location for a festinha with a bunch of garotas from forros and Remulos...
I saw Sperto's recent helpful update on Manaus.
Wondering if I could get some other advice from people actually on the ground in Manaus. I have always wanted to go there to see the jungle, as well as have fun on the side. I found some tickets for the June 22 USA Portugal game, and wondering whether to pull the trigger.
Going during the World Cup could make the trip better (added experience of seeing a WC game) or worse in terms of hassle. I know that obviously hotel prices will be up. But how ready is Manaus in terms of infrastructure for the games? Is it going to be a big hassle (can't get anywhere, water and electricity shortages, etc) such that I should wait until after the games?
I could go now. OR I could wait until Feb and link it to a Mardi Gras trip to Salvador.
Thanks in advance.

I saw you've changed from renting the whole place to renting rooms. First I almost spit out my breakfast when I saw your price, R$1000/night. Just for fun I checked out airbnb and your prices ain't bad considering the high standard on your place. On airbnb they are trying to rent out really shitty apartments at extreme prices. Good luck and have fun!

Yes, the room prices are high, but if you research Trip Advisor, the prices are higher and for dumps. Even more, there are no rooms left for Italy-England and USA-Portugal. For the other games the prices are the same or higher than ours and the quality frightening.

In reality, this listing is a test. This house was meant to be the residence of my friend, he doesn't even live in the house, he lives in Centro. While in construction, it was used as a weekend getaway for family and for parties, events for friends and associates. We also have had quite a few surubas when his wife is not around.
He has never been in the hospitality business. The idea came along the way to rent it for short and long term and what better test than the World Cup. Now that the house was finally finished, the house has been equipped with everything new: the furniture, the beds, the linens, the 2 home theaters, the 6 LED TVs, appliances, large screen projector, etc, etc.
As I said, I have been checking on the status of the hotels in Manaus and they are booked solid for England-Italy and USA-Portugal and the few available are going fast and asking for ridiculous prices for, excuse the expression, garbage dumps.
But thanks for your opinion because I also think it is somehow overpriced and I'll let him know.

i'll be there until july 15th. pmr: i will be in manaus in a few weeks, and was looking forward to some fun at remulos. my brazilian gf tells me it was closed. this is an old story in brazil (the municipality closes a boate for pimping / having rooms on the premises / **** girls, but then the owner goes to court and gets the boate opened again as the charges are usually nonsense).
i have googled remulos and can find a few articles about the place being recently shutdown (like it was in december, then again in january, then again in february, etc). now that the world cup is over, i was hoping it would be open.
can you update me on its current status?

Tickets to Manaus have become much more expensive. Prices from Rio to Manaus reaching over R$2000 one way on some dates.
Right now GOL have a promotion. If you book your ticket today or tomorrow you get a discount using the promotion code FESTAMAO. Valid for round trips during the 23 Nov-22 Dez. Prices as low as R$382 one way.
I won't use the promotion, but maybe somebody else here can benefit from it.
I've heard that a lot of Colombians and Venezuelans are working in Remulos. Can somebody confirm if that is right? They are way more Colombians and Venezuelan s than I expected. I spent 3 days in Manaus in Oct. I was wondering to myself why the sex and seevice was not as good as Rio. I had a Venezuela chick with out knowing. Alot of the girl are quick to get you in the room but the sex is just ok and sometimes rush. The sex is nothing like what I experience in Rio. I spent the next 9 days in Rio having fun.
Going from Manaus then right to Rio really showed me that the Brazilian chicks really enjoy sex and can take the dick. All the chicks I had and wanted in Manaus were not Brazilian. There were 3 bad ass Colombian chicks. I fucked two of them. The sex was ok and they were both clock watchers.
I stayed at Go Inn Hotel, which was a 2 min work to Remulos. All of the spot are two or three blocks from Remulos.

That's funny. I've been a lot of times to Remulos but I'v only seen a few non-brazilian GPs.
This year I almost f*cked a colombian girl. A black girl with very big tits, strong legs and a giant bubblebutt the size of a peixe-boi (I normally prefer the smaller bunda sizes). We agreed on the price R$50 and went upstairs. At the reception I payed for the room and the colombian girl wanted to charge extra for lube. I got pissed of, took my money back for the room and went downstairs. The colombian amazon cursed very impressing. I guess she would have been a cold hard-core pro. No loss, I chose another girl.
At Remulos it's important you do a interview and negotiating about all details before heading upstairs. Just to avoid a cold clock-watcher who does CBJ and gives bad service.

Manaus nightlife (regular girls) is good on Sundays. Regarding clubs, RTFF or ask a taxi driver. Which club is currently best change often.
Mongering on Sundays, your best option would be Remulos (even though Sundays are not very good).

Remulos is open. I went tonight. 20 reais cover charge. You can negotiate with garotas from $50-$100 reais for 30 minutes. Not alot of talent in there but some doable. Also, have to pay $20 reais for room. There is another massagem spot on sete de setembro in centro, edifico Antonio Simones apartment 1104. Its next to Loja Americano. There were 4-8.
Girls there. If you text them on whatsapp they will tell you which girls are available before you come. $100 reais for an hour and $80 reais for an half an hour. Girls were OK no real stunners. Will search more tomorrow whatsapp number +55929192-9130.

Girls there. If you text them on whatsapp they will tell you which girls are available before you come. $100 reais for an hour and $80 reais for an half an hour. Girls were OK no real stunners. Will search more tomorrow whatsapp number +55929192-9130.Thanks a lot for the update.
Manaus is getting more violent. 34 people killed in Manaus the last three days. Propably a police revenge after on of their colleagues got shot down. The city needs a clean up so it could actually be good news.

I was in Manaus a few weeks ago for a brief one night stay. For a city of almost two million, I figured that there must be a reasonable amount of action though there is very little information on this thread. I didn't do much research, but on gpguia I found a link to a ******** for a prive called acasadahannaeamigas. Called and then went there in the afternoon. This place is located on Avenida Sete de Setembro in the Edificio Antonio Simoes, number 450. Two girls were working, both pretty attractive. Went with Lohanna, an all natural, light skinned mulatta with a great smile and a big round bunda. Overall very good service, and she was a great actress. At 100 reais for the hour, it was less than 30 dollars US. It's a bit of a dirty part of town, and the place is rather run down, but no worries. When I arrived in the neighborhood in the afternoon a nearby high school was getting out and, though I'm in no way into [CodeWord902] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord902) girls, it was hard not to notice the impressive eye candy.
A quick update on Remulos. Remulos used to be one of the wildest strip-clubs in Brazil. Unfortunately it keeps declining in quality.
Rua Lobo D'Almada, 363. Two blocks from Teatro Amazonas.
Opens around 5 PM. Closes late.
Entrance=R$20. Free entrance between 5-7 PM.
Beer: R$5/33 ml can inside or R$8/600 ml bottle in the outside bar.
Sitting in the outside bar is the poor mans alternative as you don't have to pay the R$20 entrance. You miss the stripshow, but you'll be able to see the arriving girls in better light.
Girls=asking for R$50-100/30-60 min (ALL the girls can be negotiated).
Room: Rooms upstairs cost R$23. (big clean rooms with AC and some with jacuzzi). The rooms next to the reception are the nicest and biggest. If you take a freelancer you can bring her to one of the motels on the Remulos-street.
About 50 girls working on a good evening, including freelancers. Yesterday, Tuesday, there were about 30 girls.
Strip-show: Some girls do a very good show, and others almost makes you go sleeping.
Table-dance: Many girls accept to do a table-dance on your table. Touching, and sometimes fingering/licking is allowed.
Note 1: There are two kinds of girls at Remulos. The "house-girls"/dancers and the freelancers.
Note 2: Negotiate all details before going upstairs. The time, BBBJ and anal or not.
Note 3: If you see a girl you like, grab her quickly.
Yesterday I saw 1 real stunner, 2 beautiful girls, a handful doable girls and a small army of thick chubby non-doable-girls. I didn't session. I would say 10-20% of the girls are doable.
Side-note 1: The new prefeito in Manaus is doing a lot of restoring of Manaus Centro. Big areas are closed off. Praça do Indio, Praça do Relogio, The Catedral and some parts of Av Eduardo Ribeiro. The work will propably take ages. It's good tto see that they got rid of lots of the camelôs. It would be great if they could do something about the thousands of large rats running on the streets in centro at night-time.
Side-note 2: Manaus is way more cheaper than Rio. Lunch/dinner is much cheaper (lots of fresh fish). So are the supermarkets. My apartment cost R$65. A basic apartment with 3 beds, AC, TV, wifi, geladeira, bat hroom and a large balcony (8:th floor) with a great view of centro, Rio Amazonas, the new bridge and lots of rainforest in the distance.
Side-note 3: People here are very friendly but not as educated like in Rio. Nose-picking in public seems to be a popular hobby.
Side-note 4: The majority of the girls have indian blood. Short, chubby, fat, lazy and often ugly. In return the small minority of the beautiful girls are stunners. With a few exceptions most stunners are below 25 years. Caution: check the girls ID very well.
Side-note 5: My main reason for going to Manaus are the regular girls. The girls here are very curious about gringos and flirts a lot. In centro and porto you can meet lots of girls during daytime. Do your best to get them home at once as the Manaus girls are the worst girls in Brazil to date as they always comes too late, if they do show up. Always have a plan A, B and C.
In all the years I've been in Manaus I never visited a privê. Today was the first time. I went to Edifício Antônio Simões, Av Sete de Setembro 1251, next to lojas Americanas.
The puteiros are in sala 101, 405, 905 and 1104. About 4-6 girls working each sala.
They charge R$100/60 min, R$80/30 min. Sala 101 is a bit cheaper R$80/60 min, R$60/30 min. Prices are propably negotiable. Special promotions if you choose a dupla. The 60 min options are completa, including anal.
A welcoming and homely atmosphere in all the puteiros. The best girl was maybe a 7. I'm spoilt with the Rio privées so I didn't get excited at all. Furthermore none of the girls in these privées does BBBJ, only CBJ. The price at these privées shouldn't cost more than R$40/30 min. I didn't session.
I guess I stick with a combination of regular girls and maybe an occasional Remulos girl. Btw I just found out that one of my neighbours, a 20 year old cute blond does programa when she has bills to pay. I think I might knock on her door...

Yesterday I invited my neighbour over. She has a regular work but told me that she and some of her friends sell their p*ssy when they have a lot of bills to pay. Usually they go to the fivestar-hotel Tropical in Ponta Negra where they get R$400 for their services.
A very cute girl, 23 years not 20 years. Way better than the Remulos girls. I wasn't interested to pay R$400 so I only started the negotiation when I was fingering her. She quickly accepted R$70. :)
Today she keeps sendimg messages offering free services. Tempting, but I do have a date with a regular girl tonight.
Now the next step will be to meet her friends. Life is good in Manaus.

Great report Sperto, next time I go to Manaus I will ask you the phone of the girl by MP.
ABG.No problem. She left for Santarém yesterday and will be back in one year.
Manaus has one of the best nightlifes in Brazil, specially if you like forró. There are clubs open every day of the week. The clubs are located almost all over the city with Centro as an exception.
To avoid spending time and lots of taxi money you have to find out which clubs that are really open. This is a problem as Manaus is the capital of misinformation. Very often the information you get are false. The clubs are located on Av Turismo, Cidade Nova, Japiim etc. Very spread out. New clubs open and old clubs close or change names. Check with the taxidrivers which clubs are working.
I won't recommend any special clubs as everyone has a different taste. However, you could try Cabana, Tenda Hall, Copacabana, Via Norte/Planeta Talisma, Forró dos Tres, Forró de nos, Forró de João, Casa da Mamãe, Boteco Ideal, Calcadão and the list could go on forever. Some clubs are considered dangerous by the locals. Those clubs are often the most fun clubs.
You won't have much of competition from the local guys. They are mostly short and chubby guys dressed in flipflops, surf T-shirts and caps turned backwards. A tall gringo stands out very much. Being blond or having blue eyes helps a lot when meeting girls in Manaus. Manaus is definitely one of the easiest cities when it comes to meeting regular girls. The girls can be divided into two categories, the mini elephants and the slim beautiful girls. The beautiful girls are often really breathtaking. Just go ahead and smile and contact the best girls. If it doesn't work just move on to the next one. Whatch out for the girls asking for beer and drinks. Often they just want to drink for free and vanish afterwards. Use caution with the girls ages. Check their ID before trying to bring them back to your place.
Many clubs have started with offering "pista liberada", which is a bad idea. It means that the club is divided into two parts with a fence in the middle. In the paying part there will be less people, and the girls there are a bit snobby as they have paid to get inside. In the free parts it often can be too crowded and too many vagabundos. Also, be careful with those clubs offering free entrance to the girls. It sounds good, but it attracts too many guys. The ratio can be really bad.
Finally, try to get the girls back home instead of getting phonenumbers. Dating Manaus girls often takes a lot of time and patience as they always arrives very late, if they arrive.
Have fun!

Today I went back to check out the privê-building Edifício Antônio Simões, Av Sete de Setembro 1251. I arrived around 9.15. I checked out sala 101, 405, 905 and 1104. Today I got surprised by the good quality.
I chose Fernanda in sala 1104. Darkskinned india, 19 years, very cute, lovely smile and eyes, small nice tits, small round and firm ass and a shaved thick and tight vagina. She did CBJ (all the girls in the building only does CBJ) and gave a very GFE session. Excellent early Monday-f*ck. I negotiated from R$80 to R$60 for 30 min (which really was 40 min). Extra plus for her posing willingly for photos.
Side-note: Last Saturday I took a ride with a lancha from Marina do David (after Ponta Negra) to a small village on a side-river. From the village I took a long very scenic walk by myself along the river, through some jungle and a small swamp. Made me remember the movie Cannibal Holocaust. I arrived at a small indian reserve. The indians were surprised by my visit and that I arrived by foot. I got a very nice welcome from this wonderful and hospitable people. They offered some toasted giant ants, very crispy, and some huge white larvas which were to be eaten alive. Yummy.
I was impressed by the beauty of the tribeswomen. In Manaus many of the women with indian blood are quite ugly with heads like cows. These tribeswomen were totally different. I fell in love with several of them. :) It didn't hurt to see that many of the women and girls were walking around topless with painted tits. Some heavy tits on those indian women. Two of the women were very inviting and flirting a lot. It would propably have been possible to have som fun, but I didn't want to show disrespect (or risking having my balls on a spear). I spent a wonderful day with the tribe before I had to head back to the village to catch the lancha back to Marina do David.
I never have a boring day in Manaus.
P.S I noticed some members (1 post-members) asking for information about apartments. Finding a decent apartmentat a good location to a good price in Manaus isn't easy. I only know about a few apartments and I for sure won't share any info about those as it would ruin my future chances of finding them vacant.
I need to complete the list of puteiros at Edifício Antônio Simões (Av Sete de Setembro 1251).
The salas are: 101, 405, 601, 905 and 1104. Possibly even more that I havn't found. Clearly it's an advantage to check out the girls very early, before 10 AM. Around lunchtime the best girls get occupied in one-hour sessions.
Today I checked out the privées at 9.10 AM. I found several interesting girls for my morning-session. Many of the girls studies at the university so there are plenty of 19 year-old girls. I chose a girl in sala 101, Janainas Massagem. Nicole, 25 years, morena clara, cute, slim, small bubblebutt and large very beautiful natural tits (no kids). I felt I hit the jackpot as I love slim girls with big natural tits. She broke the CBJ-rule and gave an excellent BBBJ. She was exceptionally skilled in all positions. Big plus for her picture-posing so willingly. The room was nice, AC, massagebed, large doublebed, sofa, flatscreen-TV with porno and a locker for your stuff when going to the bathroom in the hallway. Session negotiated to R$50/30 minutes. Very priceworthy. I'll be back tomorrow.
Yesterday I checked out Remulos again. The bouncer let me in for free. The stripshows are quite good, but the pauses between the shows are too long and the DJ fills the pauses with shitty electronic music. The quality of the girls yesterday, Monday, were surprisingly good. There were at least 6 girls I could consider to session with. The business for the girls were really bad. The guys seemed not to have any money. Meaning that hot girls came to sit in my lap all the time offering their services for R$50-80 (plus the cost for the room). As I was planning a morning run today at 5.30 I chose not to session with any Remulos girl. This year will the first year that I havn't sessioned with any Remulos girl.
Before I left I noticed four american guys (looked like fishingtrip-guys) who propably gave some business to the girls. The girls would propably have better business if they didn't constantly play with their smartphones.
A small warning about one of the privês in Edifício Antônio Simões, sala 405. All the privées in this building are very welcoming, except sala 405. The 405-girls are a bit thicker and shows ugly faces in the presentation. I passed by sala 405 today. Only mini-elephants. I told them no thanks and was going to leave. The tia then told me I couldn't leave without paying R$20 for seeing the presentation. She had taken out the key from the door. Never have I seen this behaviour at at a privê. I sat down in the sofa and told them I only payed R$5 to see the peixe-boi at Bosque da Ciência. Rather then listening to my bad jokes they let me out quickly.
Todays session was in sala 101. Mari, morena clara, blond, 22 years, cute, small soft tits, cesarean scar and a very nice middlesized butt. Good BBBJ and good session. Plus for a good photosession. Minus because I got a bit disappointed on her body.
P.S There is one mulatta working in sala 101 and 601 (sister-salas). She looks really hot. Every single time I've been to the privê-building she has just left the shower to start a session. Apparently she's the most popular girl in the building. I'll try to be there before 9 AM tomorrow to try this delicious chocolate pie.

No problem. She left for Santarm yesterday and will be back in one year.Hi Sperto,
I'm a newbie who just arrived in Manaus for 2 months.
I went to Remulos but the experience isn't good.
Would you mind to share the phone number of the blonde girl or the contact info of privê.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Even not considering that you're a one-poster who contributed with nothing, it wouldn't help giving you her phone number as she left Manaus and only will be back in one year.
The contact info of the privées? I've already written the addresses, including the sala numbers, a couple of time.

I spend most of my time in Colombia but I'm returning to Brazil. I hope Remulos is still hopping. I'm surprised there is so little mongering here. If the frequency of ISG posts are an indicator. Last time I was here I was just 62 and had more than I could handle plus so much else to do. I bought a fishing pole and took a girl and her boy to the pier. She gave me a hand job under my rain breaker and a wild time that night. I love those rough bars down by the river. If you'll be there (Sperto?) let's hookup. Also anyone who has apartment info for Manaus, please share it. If you want free cervesa and stories from 30 years of mongering, pm me if you'll be there.

Sorry, I won't be in Manaus until next year. I guess Remulos is still working. There is no lack of mongering options in Manaus, stripclubs, sleazy bar-district downtown and Edifcio Antnio Simes with at least 5 prives.
I do think the frequency of ISG posts are an indicator. The lesser posts the greater are the chances that the city will be a pearl and have much to offer. I'm happy that the majority of the gringo mongers stays in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. More gringos usually means that they will ruin the mongering scene. Manaus is great as the gringos usually only stops there to go on a jungle trip. They find the city unappealing as it's ugly, rough and have thousands of rats on the streets.

To make the price more affordable I chose to stay 1 week to get a weekly discount. Next week I'll be staying on the 5th floor. The total Airbnb fee for 1 week is $416. There are cheaper places on Airbnb, but this is in the love dungeon itself. If I find a nice lady I can ask her to have a stop in my love shop before or after her work shift.
For my daily exercise I might walk up and down and around the floors to find all of these prives. If you like Edifcio Antnio Simes. You might as well rent an apartment there. It isn't very close to the club though, but not too far. I might only look in the club for entertainment and find me ladies in my apartment building. Maybe I'll find someone worth asking to hang out on dates or be my tour guide, or even take her to another city.
In one of your posts you said you took an Indian girl. An Indian girl as in one of the indigenous jungle ladies?

That's a very smart move. That way you'll be able to see all the working girls entering the building and propably getting to know some of them. You shouldn't have any problem to session with them in your apartment after they finish their work. Some girls will propably want to sleep over so they don't have to back home in the evening.
The rent seems a bit expensive to be in Manaus, but you'll propably enjoy the location. It's just about a 5-10 min quick walk to Remulos.

Never been there, would love to go. What places do I check out and what are the prices. Any cheap and safe hotels?Member Sperto has already written a lot about where to go. Read about the last 5 pages, and you will find your answer. I just got here an hour ago, and I already have some good ideas.

It shouldn't be a problem.
Some advices about the privées in Edifício Antônio Simões:
* Visit salas 101, 405, 601, 905 and 1104.
* Ask the porteiro about new salas.
* Go early, around 10 AM when most girls are available.
* Visit the salas several times to be able to meet the most popular girls who are often occupied.
* As you stay in the same building you should bring your own sheets if you session in the casas.
* Negotiate, that's expected. R$50 should be enough.
Other advices:
* Don't miss the nightlife in Manaus, the forró clubs:
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?564-Manaus&p=1824282&viewfull=1#post1824282.
* Dating: Have a lot of patience if you date girls in Manaus. They always arrives very late.
* Be prepared to see hords of large rats running on the streets, specially at night-time.
Looking forward to your reports!
Today is my first night staying in Manuas. I am staying in the building with many prives. I imagine there must be other building with privs. I looked at 405, just outside the door, I think it was closed at the moment, which was in the late evening. There is a sign on it, but I don't understand it. It is about 2 AM and I can hear women in the building talking.
Room 101 actually makes it a little obvious. There are arrow signs pointed to get you to apt 101. On 101 there is a business sign making it look like massage place and it shows the business hours. I will try to take a pic of it tomorrow. I was there about 6:10 PM. Which I think is late for them. I think they close at 7 PM. There were only 3 girls. I wouldn't touch the first one, the second one looked pretty good. I seems like she only wants to wear a towel all day. She goes by the name Gisele, she is 21 and has no kids. She has a nice natural body. Price is $60 reals for 30 minutes or $80 reals for an hour. There was no other fee. I chose the 1 hour option. The room was average I guess, I could see they did have a better room. My room actually had a sex chair in it.
As far as the Brazilian girls I have tried, this one seem to be the most boring. She just kind of went step a, to step be, to step see ect. It was rather boring. She has a nice body though. She I thought it was kind of boring I made sure to finish as soon as I can. I think we only took about 15 minutes. I started to put my clothes back on to leave, but she was surprised. She wanted to lay on the bed together. I think for sure I could have went for a round two. But I was not in to even in the mood for trying another round. We laid in bed awhile, and she wanted to snuggle, then she went to sleep. I was OK with holding her tits and ass while thinking about other things I need to do. I didn't bother to ask for her number. She looks good, and it seems like she might enjoy having to sleep with, but I didn't forget her boring substandard service.
I went to Remulos about 9:30 PM, it is Tuesday. It cost 20 real to get in, and that includes a small sized beer, or water or soft drink. There are maybe 30 girls in there. Some looked to be Colombian, and some of then I could not figure out. I seen a few good looking one and the usual ugly ones, and some ladies that look like they have probably been prostitutes for 10 -15 years. There were a lot of past their prime ladies there. There were about 3 that looked good enough for me to try, but I only went to have a look. I already had a girl earlier. One girl was very hot. I seen her the first time when she walked by me almost naked. She has lots of tattoos. I see her coming out of their changing room with a dress. A few minutes later a guy took her out. I see her again about an hour later. But there was already another guy all over her and buying her drinks. I wanted to get her name and maybe her phone number. There are only a couple girls I would try there. Three girls came up to me inside Remulos and they were all Brazilian. I also have a lot of prives to try here. I stay in an apartment with lots of working ladies.
This is my 3rd day here. I already wrote about day 1.
Day #2. I didn't do with anyone, but. I looked around the prives at Condomnio do Edifcio Antnio Simes. I rented an apartment on the 5th floor. Room 101 is active and makes it obvious that they do something. Room 405 is active for sure. I seen people go in and out of it, but I got a strange look like why am I just walking around. LOL I didn't go in 405 though. As Sperto said it was bad. I will have a look in there before I leave. I went to Remulos about 11:30 PM. Cost was 20 real again, but I didn't get a ticket for a free drink. It seemed a little more busy than Tuesday. I'm not sure if I seen the girl that I craved on my 1st night. I seen a few good looking ones and got a phone number of one of them. I seen a different girl there that I crave now. She looks like one of the girls that people describe as from Porto Alegre. She could pass for a European lady, nice body, but fake tits and quite a few tattoos. It seems like Brazilian girls get tattoos more than other places I have been. About 60 countries. I didn't go with a girl though. At night on my walk back to my apartment it seems fairly safe. The streets are unusually very brightly lit. The streets are so bright you could probably take great pictures without flash. I see lots of rats though. Women free-lancers can be seen near Remulos, but most are ugly.
Day #3 (today) I walked around the building a little bit more. Room 601 seems closed for sure. Before you get to 601 you would need to open a gate. The gate had a padlock on it. I walked around floor 7 and 8 and I wasn't sure about any of the places on that floor. Some of the rooms are actually businesses. One is a dentist. I then walked to 905 and seen a guy walk out of it and a woman at the door. Otherwise room 905 is not marked at all. I knocked on the door, and since I don't speak Portuguese the lady that opened the door just kind of just looked at me for awhile. I could see that it was probably a brothel though. I said in Spanish that my friends come here. I don't know if that works in Portuguese. But she welcomed me in. I wouldn't have sex with the woman that opened the door, but she showed me a girl that was only wearing a towel. She was probably with the guy that just left. I was not disappointed with this young beauty though. She was one of the few girls I have seen in Belem or Manaus that looks beautiful in the face. She didn't have the typical big ass though. She is 18 years old, and kind of looks like one of those white skinned Filipino girls. She didn't look typical of what I have been seeing lately. I'm pretty sure there is no negotiation here. It is 100 real for an hour. The room was OK, but the AC just didn't work good, it acted like it had a clogged air filter. Service was just typical, not special. She was hesitant at first, but she kissed me all I wanted. She kept giving me the I am her first gringo look. She was quite willing to do any position I wanted. I could have finished in missionary, but I wanted to try doggy. For some reason my buddy I wasn't liking the condom or something. So, we tried this and that for awhile, then I did my back up. I gave her a massage and massage her ass until my buddy gets excited again. She actually tried to get me excited by playing with herself and we kissed a lot. She is really good looking in the face for sure. But I could tell she had hair extensions, a slight turn-off. Maybe I thought she had hair like an Asian lady. Overall I completed my mission and she was happy. I got her contact info, but she doesn't want the boss lady to know. On my way out I seen a different girl there, short, not fat, but one of those thick, muscular looking girls. I'd be willing to do her also. Room 905 is only open 9 AM - 6 PM. I think 101 is open 9 AM - 7 PM. The girl I was with in #905 said her name is Agatha. I'd be willing to see her again. She has a nice attitude, but only an 18 year old girls experience.
Today I wrote about a girl in room #905. Agatha. Price is 100 real. I am bored in my apartment and looked online and seen her online, her price for delivery is 150 reals. I only paid 100 in the room.
I got her # today, and sent a Hello, message, but she didn't reply. Another Brazilian girl didn't message me today either.
I found her online here. I see her tattoos today. She is actually rather a rather nice person. http://servicos-adultos-sexo.vivalocal.com/acompanhante-erotico+manaus / emi-takaroni/134843215. She advertises anal. Maybe I'll ask her the price charge for that. In the pics she seems to be in some fancy room that I didn't see today.
It's room 405, not 450. There is no 450. The rooms go up to about 16, so there would be up to room 416.405 is quite popular. I still have to write about 405. I happen to be staying on the 5th floor for my 6th night now. According to the local website there is also 401 which is supposed to be the same owner, but 401 looked to be closed for good.
I've written quite a few reports in the last week. You might not understand me if you don't read my last few reports.
I went to the prive in room 405 on Friday. I was hesitant to go there since another member said they asked him to pay 20 reals even though he didn't like any of the girls. I seen about 5 girls and 3 were doable. The gir I took is Fernanda and she has a wonderful body. Face was pretty good also. The service was only so so. I think she said she was 20. I had a hard time with their damn small condoms, but I finally finished. I would not have finished if her body wasn't so sexy. Price was 100 for 1 hour. I didn't ask about half hour. I noticed this room used to or still does also run room # 401. This is from reading the Brazilian forums. I think #401 isn't being used anymore though. I found a whole webpage of room #405 but I can't find it anymore. Add them as a Whatsapp contact and they show the picture of the current girls. Whatsapp is +559281751727. A lot of girls that work in the prives and also Remulos also have online adds. I notice them for sure by their tattoos. This girl works and I think is the boss of room 405 http://servicos-adultos-sexo.vivalocal.com/acompanhante-erotico+manaus / a-panicat /137675965.

I went to Remulos on Saturday and Sunday night. On Saturday there were a lot of people on the outer side of the club, but about the number of people on the inside. I seen more of the hot girls today. Some look good in clothes, but when they get on stage and you see them naked you will quickly give them more stars in the looks department. I think the most popular girl in the one I cold easily fall in love with, she is a 9 in the face and body. 25 years old, name is Sarah. I took her tonight. Price was 100 for 30 minutes, and 20 for the room. I didn't not negotiate. She is so hot I would have has to come back to Manaus just to do this fine looking lady. Service is very, no kissing and stuff, but the way she will fuck you is good. Her bubble but that had nice wiggles is awesome. She said she goes to the gym a lot, but she has a 7 year old boy. But she doesn't look like she has kids except her tits hung nicely. There is another girl that I'd like to fuck in Remulos. She is also very fit, but more slender. She doesn't have the bubble ass that Sarah has. But she has nice tits, and her face looks like she is half Indian, as Indian from Indian. She was the best dancer. Very white skin, and made her hair blonde. Unfortunate the girl I took from Remulos would not let me take a picture. She said, Americans and Internet. No photos for you. I see he silly photo on Whatsapp at the moment, she has a cute face, but you might not recognize her if you seen her in the club.
There was a decent look woman that was a little aggressive to me, she could tell I was not overly interested. She quoted 80 for her and 20 for the room. So, some girls will take 80 reals. The girl I took quoted 200 if I wanted an hour. So I did the 30 minute version.
You can see many listed prives and other pages on this sight. If give addresses of other prives. And I think there is a prive in this building I am in on the 12th floor also.
Gagoo, thanks a lot for your great quality reports. Very interesting.
I hope you took the chance to enjoy some forró clubs and free p*ssy. Enjoy your trip.
I only took 1 Remulos girl. When she is dancing on the stage she gets lots of attention. She is very sexy. 25 years old, but has a 7 year old kid. You can't really tell by looking at her. She said she goes to the gym a lot. She asked for 100 Real for 30 minutes. Although another told me 80. But this girl seemed to be the most popular. I seen her going with other guys the most often. It was condom for everything, and no kissing, but she was doing quite a show when she was fucking me, we finished with her done reverse cowgirl and she made sure I had a great show. She has a wonderful ass and nice tits. She would not let me take pictures. But I saved 2 of her Whatsapp profile pics. Most of the girl sin Manaus would not do small chit chat on Whatsapp. Attaches are some of her Whatsapp pics.
I did go to one regular club, but I could not undertsnad what was really going on. It seemed like normal woman that seemed too easy to get busy with the girls. I especially got a lot of attention. The girls weren't that great looking though. I went on a Friday night, and the whole night they only played old American and other popular English songs. It was weird to see them dancing to Madona and Michael Jackson and other old song. I later seem what seemed to be the locl sluts that you could probably offer a little money for sex. But just about all of the locals look like they were all sweaty all day long. I wasn't interested in getting laid that night. The locals were friendly though. One guy was worried I was going to get robbed walking back home and followed me for awhile, he keep telling me to get a taxi, but I had to keep telling him I am very close and I am OK. So, I had one night out. As far as other clubs. On Friday they there seems to be a very loud bust club going on behind the Edificio Antonio Simoes. On Saturday, maybe Fridays also, there is a very big line of people at a place found on Google Maps, its called Cabaret Night Club. I think it is only open on weekends. When I walked by there on a Saturday there was a very big line going around the corner to get it the club.
On almost every night, there seemed to be about the same number of people on the inside of Remulos. But on the outside of Remulos there were more people on the weekend. I only got a free drink on Remulos on a Tuesday. The entry free was always 20 real. I still seen the hoot looking girls even working on Sunday. So, Remulos is always a good choice. The prives in Antonio Simoes all seem closed on Sunday. I didn't check them all on Sunday though. I only checked out some of them.
Attached are pictures of Sarah at Remulos. In my opinion she is the most taken girl. Always a condom used, but she has a fun attitude.

You didn't mention which club you visited. If it was close to your apartment it could have been Crocodilo, which is a shitty club. Manaus has the best nightlife in Brazil (IMO) but all the good clubs are a long taxiride away from centro.
Warning! I havn't been to the Cabaret Night Club you mentioned, but if I'm not mistaken it's a GLS club.

But the people were very local, and some look like they grew up in the jungle. But everyone was friendly. I guess I am not use to women trying to be so nice to me unless they are hookers. I don't think they were hookers though, maybe they are women of opportunity though. I seen some women there that would walk around and leave and come back, ect. They where chasing guys down, so I think for sure they were hookers. It looked like nobody in the bar has taken a shower since morning though.
I took a picture of the club so I would remember the name. I thought I spotted working girls near there, but the next day I didn't see the ladies. I noticed another spot, but on Google maps they say it is a gay sauna (Suana H2 O). It is near a place on Google maps called Hotel Chalex. I attached some pics of the club now, and what was on Google maps. This might have been another club before. It looks like a new sign. The area has lots and lots of very cheap looking hotels. Maybe there are some decent, cheap hotels to be found there. I didn't really see ladies standing on the street there. At night I see lots of ladyboys around the town and the theater. The only real woman street walkers were near Remulos. I never ventured far from within my area though. I just went to the Manauara Shopping center once, and was surprised by the high prices. I can confirm Remulos seems to be a good place 7 days a week.
One of the pictures is what I took. The other picture is from Google maps.
I wasn't going to show these pics, but I don't see why not.
Condomínio do Edifício Antônio Simões (on Google Maps) has lots of prives (little brothels).
In the building there is a billboard with contacts to rent apartments there. If you speak Portuguese you can have a try. I stayed in #502, which I got on Airbnb. #502 has a post on the billboard also. The price for a month at some of these places aren't bad. You can rent an apartment on the same floor as a prive. If I did that I wouldn't be able to stop looking through my peephole LOL.
See the pics of the billboard. I made it two pics so the resolution won't suck so much.

In this area there are a lot of small hotels and pousadas, often used by backpackers and the jungle-trek-tourists.
In Centro you'll find streetwalkers down at the super-sleazy bar-district behind the bus station. A fun area to visit but mostly nasty women.
I never visited the club/bar you went to. Next time you visit Manaus make sure you visit one of the giant forró clubs in the outskirt of Manaus. As a gringo you will be the king.
Passing through Manaus again for business, I had one late afternoon and one morning free to indulge. With limited time, feeling a bit lazy, and hoping to get a girl to come to my very nice hotel, I called a few girls on vivalocal, but never got a good vibe. So returned to Edificio Antonio Simoes which I had visited a year ago. I forgot how run down and dirty, some would say sleazy, the place is. I've been to plenty of these kinds of places in Latin America but must admit that I'm getting older, and now money is not an issue, so my tolerance for things like the smell of [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) in the streets has declined. And I've gotten spoiled by places like the higher end casas in Medellin with attractive and comfortable rooms and immaculate girls who make a big effort to look gorgeous. But I was pretty horny after several weeks of work in Mato Grosso, where I had two memorable sessions in Cuiaba with two stunning and excellent performers. I checked salas 101,405, 905, and 1104. No doubt lineups change day to day, and after having spent time in Colombia, Rio, and Panama earlier in the year, my expectations were set to low. Very slim pickings at 6:30 PM on a Friday with two to three girls in each place. The one attractive girl I wanted to go with was leaving for the day as I entered 905. I almost bailed but returned to 1104 and went with a slightly chubby girl, Rafaella, with a cute face, nice smile, girl next door vibe, and beautiful thick long black hair. At first she tells me she's a little shy, but she wasn't. 100 reias for the hour with BBBJ and LFK. If I had been in any of those other places I had mentioned, I wouldn't even have considered her, but horniness, realistic expectations, and her decent performance made for a pretty good fuck.
Returned the next morning, my last free time, to see if the girl I had seen at 905 the previous day was working. She wasn't. Stopped in at 405 and was a bit surprised to find 7 girls working at 10:30 AM on a Saturday. Three made the cut as doable. Went with Fernanda, a dark skinned, long haired girl with an affectionate attitude, and a petite and tight body. I was pleasantly surprised with her sexy performance. 100 reais for the hour with BBBJ and even a little DFK.
YMMV, but unless you speak decent Portuguese and have plenty of time to work on non pros, as there are plenty of very attractive women in town, or unless you're already in the city for business or a jungle adventure, Manaus might not be your best choice as a mongering destination in Brazil. But it is cheap if cost is an issue.

She told me her mother is Colombian. Arriving at 6:30 PM is a poor time. I arrived that late in 101, and it was slim pickings, but I found someone. That building does look ugly on the outside and inside, and it looks like the stairs are crumbling. But the apartment I rented was nice inside. It didn't have hot water though. There are at least 2 AIRBNB rooms in that building. The same owner I think. One on the 5th floor and one on the 3rd floor. The owner actually also lives on the 5th floor. The owner must be doing pretty well to own at least 3 apartments there.
It shouldn't be a problem.
Some advices about the prives in Edifcio Antnio Simes:
* Visit salas 101, 405, 601, 905 and 1104.
* Don't miss the nightlife in Manaus, the forr clubs:
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?564-Manaus&p=1824282&viewfull=1#post1824282.
* Dating: Have a lot of patience if you date girls in Manaus. They always arrives very late.
* Be prepared to see hords of large rats running on the streets, specially at night-time.
Looking forward to your reports! Is it 50 US dollars or 50 Brazilian Riyal? Sorry if it is silly question because I always see the 2 symbols beside the number: are and $ ?

I wrote "R$50". It's not USD and it's not Riyal, which is the currency of Saudi Arabia.

You misunderstood, ABG, it's not about the autospeller. I wrote R$50 and it turned out as it should, R$50. The question from Adelat41 was what R$ currency is.
I was just back in Manaus for work and had a few short afternoons to indulge. Went back to Edificio Antonio Simoes with limited expectations. Meagre choices on a Wednesday morning about 11:30 AM, but in sala 1104, there was a real cutie, Kelly. Young, great body, flawless skin head to toe with no tatoos, gorgeous silky long brown hair, and a beautiful face and smile. Compared to all the other girls in the building, she was amazing and I couldn't believe it. Even more amazing was that she was sweet, fun and sexy as hell in the sack. Fun foreplay, DATY, excellent BBBJ, all sorts of positions, kissed on the lips, enthusiastic, and aimed to please. Next day about 2 PM, I had a few hours free. Quickly checked the other prives at Antonio Simoes and had the same poor results. Returned to 1104 for a second round with Kelly. Even a little better the second time with the same great service and LFK. At sala 1104, there was also a tall, pretty, light skinned mulata, Fernanda, who I think was mentioned here a while back. I only saw her in passing as she was busy with clients. She definitely would have been a close second choice.
I arrived in Manaus around 11 pm. My friend came and picked me up from the airport. I stayed at his place he is renting there. Took a shower then we hit Remulos. He was telling me he has seen a lot of Venezuelans and Haitians in the city within the last couple of months. We went in and I was not impressed. About 30 girls. Nothing doable for me. A girl from Medellin was trying to lore me upstairs. Said would cost $70 reais. I been to Medellin and she was not impressive to me. I didn't see any Venezuelans or Haitians in there.
We left and went to a club / bar with one of his lady friends and her ugly cousin. I wasn't interested and just watch them dance until 5 am until we went back to his place.
Next day was Sunday. My flight left in the afternoon to Sao Luis. I remember there was a prive in centro that I still had their WhatsApp. I tried calling but no one answered so I knew was closed at that point. I headed to the airport afterwards.
Here is the number to the prive +55 (92) 9XXXX130.

This is definitely the case with Manaus. A few hours on Badoo will get you a dozen great looking garotas for free. Remulus can be fun but usually I am too busy to go there. P4P has too much competition.
All it takes is basic Portuguese. I realize that for some people that is like saying, all it takes is a million dollars but for me, Manaus is awesome.

My friend says the same thing. He loves Manaus. He says it so easy to get non-pros. He was there for couple years. I dated a few girls from Manuas but I never stay a long time there because I like so many other parts of Brazil. I recently had one super hot girl from Manaus came to visit me last month. Had a good couple weeks with her. I'm just not the marrying type and she wants someone to take care of her and her kid. Nao gosto kkk. I will be in Fortaleza in a few weeks. Looking forward to being back in Brazil!

Manaus is propably the best city in Brazil if you want to meet regular girls. A great nightlife in combination with flirty girls that are very curious about gringos.
However, there is one downside. The girls in Manaus (with few exceptions) are the worst in Brazil to date as they always arrives late.

Hello all,
I've only been to Manaus once, and that time I stayed close to the Theater.
I am wondering what would be a good Bairro to stay for an eventual next visit?
I am looking at either Ponta Negra or somewhere close to the Theater.
Thanks,
DP.
This was my first visit to Manaus and the plan was 2 nights in the city and then off for a jungle tour. Well. Man plans and god laughs!! My flight into Sao Paolo got late and I missed my conx. So reached a day later and just had actually less than a day. Since I don't speak Portuguese I had used Badoo before leaving and had a date set. She is 24 and a body to die for. Came at 7 pm and had a chat over google translate. She responded very well to kissing and soon I had the pleasure of seeing her naked. Wow. My first Brazilian and well worth the 2 day travel. I can't really express in writing but I had a very good 3 hours. Cost 200+50 tip.
Later at night went to Remulos because I had read so much about it. The place is OK. Nothing great. About 20-25 girls on a sat night. Met with a gorgeous Venezuelan but didn't partake.
I stayed at Go Inn walking distance from Theatro and is girl friendly as long as she has ID.

She wasn't some innocent. She was a convicted drug trafficker who had escaped from prison.
That's right, "Barbie do Tráfico" escaped from prison. She got sentenced after trying to bring 40 kg of maconha to Manaus. Her brother in law ordered the hit. A shame they killed her just outside Remulos. Unwanted attention.
I'm a well travelled professional in Manaus for 3+ weeks. Message me to go out and explore. Down to meet up and make things happen.

Hi ISG people who like what I like, which is girls, girls, girls and then fun.
I am a latino from Miami. Speak portuguese quite fluently from my castellano (spanish) native language. I have been many times in Rio, every year from 1999 to 2019. I was pretty familiar with the P4 P scene but not anymore for not being able to visit for the pandemy.
I know my way around Rio and quite familiar with navigating the city. As a result I am happy to report, from the security point of view, had never been in major troubles or had issues with robberies or scams because I like to be very careful. Thru the years I have taken friends and relatives to hobby with ease given my portuguese. I have also been in 4 Rio carnavals and 3 Samba Parades. I 've been in many old venues like legendary Help, Luomo, and all the major termas.
Having said that. This time I am going alone, and given my cautious approach, I would like to get together with fellow mongers in Rio from 8/20 to 8/27. It is safer to party in a group than doing it on your own. Any Rio expert here can tell how dangerous Rio can be.
I want to live the life. Massages, termas, MAB's, and the like. As I have never been to Barra for the "activities" we love so much (only been there for the beaches), I am particularly interested with Senhor Vagabundo who reportedly organizes sexpeditions to the Barra's venues. That I would love to do if Mr Vagabundo would honor me.
I also want to do Rio touristy stuff: Maracana, centro tours, Sugar Loaf, Cristo Redentor, etc. I also plan to visit Ilha Grande and Paraty. I am staying at IBIS Copacabana. It is very near a metro station what makes moving around Rio very quick and cheap.
After Rio, I am going to Manaus from 8/28 to 9/20. I spent there the 2020 carnaval before the COVID shutdown. Happy to report that Manaus is my specialty. I've been visiting MAO from 1996 and know the city like my own hand, specially the whoring venues. I am a card holding founding member of legendary Remulos and similar venues. I am also into doing touristy stuff like river tours, Teatro AMazonas, centro tours, forro's tours, massages tours, etc.
Also extremely pleased to report that MAO (Manaus) is a prime city for non-pros. I have met dozens of normal, sexy, hot, gringo-loving girls. If you want to get a GFE with a normal girlfriend, this the place.
After my trip I will report extensively on Manaus, there's been a very long time since Sperto used to enlighten us about the beautiful, non-pro heaven, Manaus.
If you wan to meet in Rio, or Manaus, PM me.
Papa.
So Papi, how was your trip? Yours is the only post from 2021!

Ahhh Manaus! I arrived to Manaus for my first ever visit close to a week ago. My intel on this jungle city was very limited but I felt like I had some of the basics down thanks to past bm'er reports. Unfortunately there haven't been any current reports on the ISG so I had to do some digging around for myself.
I strategically chose to stay at a hotel in centro well within walking distance to some of Manaus' famous institutions like the teatro Amazonas and more importantly, remulos beer and strip club where our good ISG buddy Sperto has made the past claim as Being his favorite strip club in all of Brazil. A bold claim indeed! I arrived on rua lobo D'almada in the early evening with high hopes and posted up just up the hill from remulos club at the equally famous bar do caldeira for a few drinks and waited for my first official evening to get started hopefully on the right foot. And then it began to rain and rain some more. Welcome to Amazonas in February!
As I drank I surveyed my surroundings and didn't really see any Garotas that grabbed my attention. The street scene for gp's was pretty beat along the rua imo. Most gp's were way past their prime, most were over weight and to be honest I felt a little grossed out. I noticed many extremely underage girls and felt a bit disgusted to even be in their proximity. I finished a handful of drinks and then made my way down to remulos where I paid a cover only to feel a bit disappointed after entering. In short, I wasn't impressed with the talent or lack there of. It was my first night in town and it must have been an off night so to speak.
So I decided to go for plan be, the non-pros, but where would I find them? I hopped in a cab and opened conversation with the motorista about Venturing to new hunting grounds and boy was I happy with his suggestion! He insisted I try a bar called salome bar Vieiralves which was considered to be a prime local hangout with the college aged middle class crowd. Being the only gringo is oftentimes a fantastic situation to be in. Being the only gringo who can hold conversation in Portuguese is even better! I did what I normally do in situations like these. I scoped out a group of friends with a equal mix of girls and guys and began casual conversation with the men of the group. This way I can feel out the girls without stepping on any toes which is the last thing I want to do when dealing with civilian non pro girls around their guy friends. Much in the same way as my experience was earlier last week in Belem, I let the girls come to me. The local girls were very quick to garner my attention and before I knew it I had isolated a beautiful 22 year old away from the group and into my orbit. I can highly recommend visiting Salome bar. In fact, it was the best decision I made during my stay in Manaus was returning there practically every evening. Thursday night is the best day of the week I am told and I can't disagree. I ended up with a handful of WhatsApps numbers and openly made out with multiple girls during each of my visits there. I had 2 explosive sexual encounters and never paid a dime out of pocket. Ahh Manaus! I can't wait to come back. Don't waste your time in centro fellas unless you want to hang out with the bohemian crowd locals and haggard street girls. The real fun awaits you at Salome bar just down the way from IAES Faculdade. Lots of interesting college aged non pro girls are waiting to get to know the exotic gringo tourist! Next time you're in Manaus, check it out! I'm here for one more night so if you're around come on down. It's Friday!
Ahhh Manaus! Thanks for the report, very nice to have an update. I miss Manaus terrible much and havn't been there since 2016.
A shame about Remulos going downhill, but I'm glad it's open. The owner, Lobo, closed the club in October 2020 because of the pandemic, but reopened in November last year.
IMO Manaus has the best nightlife in Brazil. You really should try out the forró clubs. Most of them are located in bairros like Cidade Nova, Japiim or Avenida de Turismo. These clubs gathers thousands of people and there are clubs open all days of the week. I'm not updated on the club situation. The most popular clubs used to be Via Norte / Planeta Talisma, Casa the Mamãe, Cabana, Tenda Hall, Copacabana, Forró dos Tres, Forró de nos, Forró de João, Boteco Ideal and Calcadão. All the good nightlife is very spread out and far away from Centro.
Manaus is unbeatable when it's comes to picking up regular girls. I know several Brazil veterans who only travels to Manaus. They stay for three months every years and are busy all the time with regular girls.
On my next visit to Manaus my main objective will be to visit "my" small Indian tribe on Rio Negro. Such hospitable and lovely people. I can't forget the beauty of the tribeswomen. Most of them women and the girls were topless. Even though some of the women were very flirty I didn't have the courage to make a move on them. Maybe it would end with a Cannibal Holocaust part 2.
Ahhh Manaus!!Very interesting report. It sounds like an unspoiled place. Thanks!

Thanks for the update on Manaus. From your report, is almost seems like a different Manaus than the one I remember and grew to know and love over the past several decades.
I was surprised you didn't take-in any of the Forros, which typically are good places to pickup non-pros. As reported, they are a hoot, even if you can't dance a lick of Forro, much like myself. I'm always amazed at the rhythmic dance moves performed by the couples in such tight quarters. Truly amazing, to see these hot Brasileiras twirl, gyrate and spin like a top, to the Brasilian Funk, Pagode, Hip Hop Samba and Forro music.
But if you're game, it can be an opportunity to get close up and personal with your dance partner, as Forro is typically performed as a couple. Anyways it seems like you'll be back to my favorite jungle city, so perhaps next time.
BTW, Paradiso de Angelo in Manacapuru as must visit. This place is great jungle hideaway, spectacularly beautiful, resort village. Its situated right on the Rio Solimoes/Rio Amazonas river. Swimming in the river was great. Had the good fortune of renting a boat from Paradiso de Angelo and venturing across to river to see an Indian burial ground was fantastic.
Definitely, a great place to take the "weekend-wife", if happen to hook-up with local gal and want to want to take a mini-vacay. Manacapuru is only about 2hrs trip by boat and bus from Manaus and Paradiso de Angelo is a 5 min. cab ride from Manacapuru city centre.

I see now you're in Rio, so have fun and enjoy.
I got sidetracked. I visited Manaus this year. I went to Remulos on a Friday night. It was great. I arrived around 1 am and stayed until 3 am.
I saw a dozen ladies out of the 50 I would be interested in. A few chicks that didn't strike my fancy tried to ply their wears. I never sampled any of the talent. I didn't approach any of the cute ladies. I think prices were $40 usd. The subsequent Sat. Night wasn't good. I arrived a little earlier but the lineup was weak. I bounced in less than a hr. There are lots of local clubs nearby but more for locals and LGBTQ.
Hi OJeito,
Congratulations for the review on Manuas. Can I ask you which hotel have you been to? 4 years ago, I was in Manaus, and I enjoyed it very much even though it was for a few days. I had booked, a decent 4-star hotel (Saint Paul Hotel) located in the center. As soon as I arrived, the manager told me that "guests" were not allowed in the rooms. I also complained that, because I had booked for two people. They would only accept one other guest (but always that one) and only after checking her documents. Perhaps he had had some previous experience that was too "complicated and embarrassing". The second day I changed hotel and went to a 5 star hotel of an international chain (Accord hotel) unfortunately, on the outskirts. There no one has ever asked me about the many welcome guests. The only negative note: I had to rent a car to be more independent from overly expensive taxi drivers.
Greetings.
Apartment is the right way to go in Manaus. All the Manaus veterans stay in the same building. No question about guests and lots of neighbours who willingly spread their legs. Some for free and some for a help with the rent.

The only negative note: I had to rent a car to be more independent from overly expensive taxi drivers..I originally booked a few nights in a centro hotel before I quickly realized that it was not the place to be. I didn't like the area because it quickly became a ghost town after the businesses closed down for the day. I also thought the nearby restaurants were nothing special so I sought out an alternative site to bring the ladies back that also had better and cleaner dining options nearby. I stayed at the quality hotel in adrianopolis. It was around 60 per night and was GF. I believe the ibis budget in the same neighborhood is half the price and also GF. Sperto's recommendation of renting an apartment near the most popular forro clubs sounds like a great idea if you decide to stay for awhile.
Sperto's recommendation of renting an apartment near the most popular forro clubs sounds like a great idea if you decide to stay for awhile.Apartment, yes, but apartment near the forró clubs is impossible as they are spread out all over the outskirts of Manaus.
Centro after 7 PM is very dead and almost no good restaurants are open in the evening. Still centro is not a bad choice to stay at as you're located as the spider in the middle of the web. In my case I have a lot daytime activities in centro.
... Can I ask you which hotel have you been to? ... As soon as I arrived, the manager told me that "guests" were not allowed in the rooms. I also complained that, because I had booked for two people...
Some BMs have suggested renting an AirBnB at Edifcio Antonio Simoes, located on Av Sete de Setembro 1251 • Centro. Apparently, if all holds true since last reported, there are a number of Prives also located in this building. So you won't have to go far for "catch-and-release" or "take-out".
Even though many businesses shutdown early in Centro, I'v always found more than enough restaurants up and down Av. Sete de Setembro and
in and around Teatro Amazonas (Rua 10 de Julho). Slight walk to some of these places, but its a nice evening walk (in the hot Manaus heat) and typically you'll encounter lots of evening events going on, all over downtown. Just follow the noise, in various directions.
Back-in-the-day (being younger and more adventurous), I would book a room, in the "love motel" area of centro (most are found up the hill past Pra. de Policia) and had no problem, bringing several girls, throughout the day back to the motel. After all, that's what they're used for.
Downside is, the rooms weren't too bad (minus the sex decor and fun house mirrors), providing you could withstand the moaning and groaning at all hours of the day, coming from neighboring rooms...kkk! But on the upside, the motels (are/were) a cheap option and (are/were) teaming with other working girls either staying there or working a shift, so to speak.
Not sure if your in Manaus for business or pleasure, but anyways, I present one apartment option and one "love motel" option if you're in a pinch. BTW, a couple of times I booked a "love motel" option and a hotel at the same time, which worked out great for the number of hookups, given my mood on certain days.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
... I had to rent a car to be more independent from overly expensive taxi drivers. Good for you! Never tried renting a car in Rio (just way too crazy), but have rented one in Fortaleza (a few times), for a quick couple of days get-away-vacay in Canoa Quebrada and surrounding areas.
Just curious, what was driving in Manaus like? With almost everything, (like the dance Forro clubs) being so spread out, did you actually find this to be advantageous vs.taxis/ubers?

Apartment is the right way to go in Manaus. All the Manaus veterans stay in the same building. No question about guests and lots of neighbours who willingly spread their legs. Is it bookable on Airbnb? I have been thinking about heading up to MAO from RIO soon. No, it's not bookable on Airbnb. I just heard from a friend it's "death penalty" if I share the location of this apartment building. It would ruin for the Manaus veterans.
The poster below recommended Edifcio Antonio Simoes, on Av Sete de Setembro 1251. It's a building in centro with several puteiros. I wouldn't stay there but I guess it's OK for some people. However you have lots of options on Airbnb.
Before I started renting apartment in Manaus I used to stay at one of the three Hotel Magnífico. It's not a hotel, it's a motel for short time sessions. I negotiated with the owner and paid 30 reais / night (quite a few years back). Excellent location, 1 block from Teatro Amazonas. Nice big rooms, giant beds, A / see, lots of mirrors, hidromassagem, Tv and video and super clean. No problem bringing girls. The downside was that the rooms had no windows. I prefer an apartment with a balcony where I can watch the sunset over Rio Amazonas and the jungle.
Do you have any more details on it? Is it bookable on Airbnb? I have been thinking about heading up to MAO from RIO soon. Just to be clear, the information w/r to Edifcio Antonio Simoes, on Av Sete de Setembro 1251, was previously discussed by other BMs and I simply offered it up, as a possible option, one may want to look into. I've never stayed there.
Check here and the follow up reports, info and BMs who reported on Edifcio Antonio Simoes:

Apartment/Motel Option in Manaus?
... Back-in-the-day (being younger and more adventurous), I would book a room, in the "love motel"... But as stated, reports and recommendations for staying at the "love motels", can be fun, but isn't necessarily everyone's "cup-of-tea". Enjoy!
We went to Manaus for the World Cup in 2014. I absolutely hated the city itself and was happy that we booked a hotel on the Rio Negro (I think it was one of the Radisson brands, but it's changed hands since). It was right on the beach with lousy rooms but awesome views, beautiful pool, and the lobby filled with working girls every night. It was a very pleasant area compared to Manaus decrepit downtown and a 30-minute ride to the Centro on a comfortable AC bus.

The hotel you're discribing located by the beach and overlooking the Rio Negro, sounds like the Tropical Executive Hotel, in Ponta Negra, which has the only beach (Praia da Ponta Negra) in the city of Manaus. https://www.tropicalexecutive.com.br and https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g303235-d15276829-Reviews-Tropical_Executive_Hotel-Manaus_Amazon_River_State_of_Amazonas.html
The Tropical, which was once owned by Varig Airlines, had put me up overnight (free of charge) on a flight mix-up/delay (real customer service, in those days) and I remember the hotel really wasn't all that (and "a bag of chips"), let alone worth US$250/night (at time), compared to the US$60-75 today. But I did enjoy the lavish caf de manh buffet style breakfast and liked walking around the the well kept hotel grounds.
Totally in agreement w/r to the City of Manaus and it's esthetic beauty, or lack thereof, when looked at in the same ways as traditional cities (ie. skyscrapers, solid infrastructure, polished concrete architecture, pristine roadways and freeways, manicured landscaping ...etc).
But really, who can forget the flight into Manaus and the thick lush green vegetation over the Amazon jungle and its Pantanal of rivers and tributaries, spreading across the land, in an endless weave of greens, blues and earth tones from the fabric of nature. Very picturesque, indeed!
Although, I consider Manaus my fav "jungle city", I think Belem cityscaping is far better and slightly more cosmopolitan. But for me, Manaus, just has more of a cool, rustic, jungle vibe to it, despite all its unpolished urban flaws.
Okay! Maybe I'm just biased, because of (the once famous/infamous) Remulos strip club....kkk!
However, I will say Manaus, did loose it's luster, with me some time ago, due to the cleansing, closing and shuttering of some of my fav outdoor social venues. Pity!

Yes, I also remember it cost a ridiculous amount of money for our dates, yet was very busy due to the World Cup, but we got it on points very cheaply. Our room was huge, but ridiculously shitty, think Motel 6 quality or even worse with the bathroom that was a challenge to fit in. And yet, it had a huge wraparound balcony with astonishing views. I remember sleeping on the balcony one night and I slept like a baby. It was perfectly cool outside and not even one mosquito. Also, the infinity pool was beyond awesome, the breakfast was superb, and the working girls in the lobby bar kept us busy for 2 nights. And it was a couple minute walk to the beach too.
If the new owners have refurbished the rooms, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Since we only stayed for 3 days, we only took one Rio Negro / Amazon tour, but it was really, really good.
Interesting that you mentioned Belem. How would you compare the two nature and hobby-wise, LOL? I thought of trying it next, since I've already been to Manaus.
Or should I go back to Manaus to explore more?
P.S. Actually, just checked Airbnb, and they list this as an aparthotel for only $36. And the same shitty rooms, it seems, LOL. Well, for $36 it's a steal, shitty or not. And the views are still magnificent.
... Interesting that you mentioned Belem. How would you compare the two nature and hobby-wise, LOL? I thought of trying it next, since I've already been to Manaus. Or should I go back to Manaus to explore more? ... Which is better, Manaus vs. Belem w/r to hobbying and exploring nature? Great question, tough to completely answer, since it's been a few years since I've been to either place, but here's my take:
Manaus:
Tours: I think Manaus, wins when it comes to jungle tours, exploring nature and other near trips/sites of interest. (ie. jungle tours, fishing, visits to local indigenous villages, river boating, jungle hikes ...etc)
Accommodations/Hotels: Slightly, questionable quality, but cheaper than Belem for the most part, but more "love motels" for the horny traveler.
Wifeying-Up for the weekend: Paradiso de Angelo in Manacapuru as must visit. This place is great jungle hideaway for a "wifey weekend get-a-away". Nice relaxing, resort village. www.paraisodangelo.com.br
Food:This is just me, but just loved the variety of fish and fresh fruit to eat down by the fishing docks (Mercado Manicipal), during lunch hours. Rough area, but good to explore w/r to seeing business and commerce in the area. The fish market at the docks is huge.
Nightlife/Clubs:Very good dance scene with the open air Forró clubs. The night clubs were OK, with just a few in centro and the rest, regrettably (like the Forró clubs) spread out all over the city. Some nights there are free events around centro and Teatro Amazonas. Saw several very good musical concerts at Teatro Amazonas for like R$2.
Hobbying: Remulos, the once "crown jewel" of strip clubs in Brazil, IMHO, has lost much if it's luster over the years, but remains as a relatively decent P4P option, albeit watered-down, from its former glory.
Downtown bars, clubs and other strip clubs, diffidently catered to the local working class and the quality left something to be desired. For me, it was very entertaining, to grab a beer and "people watch" for a while.
The Women: Easy to pick-up non-pros, but as you may already know (judging by your 2014 visit), the type of quality of girls is different than say Rio or SP. I happen to like the diverse looks and ethnic looks of girls and enjoyed the easy hookups, like at the Forró clubs. Downside is, they could turn into "Klingons", sometimes...kkk!
Belém:
Tours: I friend of mine took the boat ride, from Belem to Manaus (which took about 4 days, back in 2004), but was bored out of his mind, after the first day and scenic aspect of the trip, was basically on rinse and repeat cycle and wasn't as diverse and picturesque as he'd hoped. Also for him a lack of privacy was also a problem. Others reported having a better time during the trip, (I think) mainly due to the bottles of cachaca and the company of friends.
Note: I don't know if anyone has done this, but I always wondered, what it would be like to "weekend wife", such a trip? Nightmare on Elm St. waiting to happen or jungle boat fuck-a-thon?
Accommodations: Much better with regards to quality, fit, finish and furnishings. I loved staying at Hotel Gro Par, (Av. Presidente Vargas, Centro). However, they no longer allow "unregistered" girlfriends.
Food:Again, this is just me, but just loved the convenience of the local markets and fishing docs (Estao das Docas and Mercado Ver-O-Peso), in proximity to my hotel (5 min walk). Loved that I could pick the fresh fish of my choice and get it cooked and fried up, at any of the local market stalls. The docs also offered a good number of decent restaurants, offering a variety of cuisines.
Nightlife/Clubs: Ask the taxi drivers. Much like Forró /clubs Manaus, they are spread out over the city and only open and operate on certain nights.
Hobbying: I have to admit, I enjoyed hobbying slightly more in Belem, list time I visited both cities. It has a decent number of clubs in the downtown core to keep you entertained, with the best, Club Paraiso, Rua Senhor Manoeul Barata 105 Centro, as pretty good pro/semi-pro FL joint.
Other P4P joints, are spread out over the city like their night clubs. Recent reports from BMs in Belem, indicate that the action is still pretty good, for a "jungle city", that is.
The Women: Same sentiments as Manaus, except perhaps the hookups weren't as easy.
For me, Manaus will always be my favorite, just because it holds more dear memories. But Belem had been growing on me. If I had to pick one for both nature and hobbying, it would be Manaus.
Because, I love to visit other Brazilian cities and re-visit some friends and past acquaintances, I also love to checkout the social-economic life in other parts of Brazil. I happen to use the Brazilian Airbus Pass, which allowed me to visit several cites for a nominal fee, over the period of like a month. So while I was this far out (from Rio), it just made sense to visit Belem as well.
My 2-cents. Hope it helps.
Which is better, Manaus vs. Belem w/r to hobbying and exploring nature? Great question, tough to completely answer, since it's been a few years since I've been to either place, but here's my take:
Thanks so much. I think I'll try Manaus one more time and see if it grows on me, LOL.
Belm: ...

However, they no longer allow "unregistered" girlfriends. Sorry, that line should have read: I loved staying at Hotel Grão Pará , (Av. Presidente Vargas, Centro).
Arrrh! That fickin' "Snazza frazza rashin' fashin' ISG auto-correctasin', piece of @%#*$&!% ", will get you every time on the Portuguese words with accents/diacritics, even when following my own "auto correction" tips/advice...kkk!

I happen to use the Brazilian Airbus Pass, which allowed me to visit several cites for a nominal fee, over the period of like a month. Would you kindly share where could one obtain such a wonder? I would love to visit several cities for a nominal fee.
Would you kindly share where could one obtain such a wonder? I would love to visit several cities for a nominal fee.It could be explained by a failing memory of the original poster. There used to be Brazil Airpass (not Brazilian Airbus pass) that used to be popular ine the nineties. Fly to 4 destinations in 21 days paying a low price. It used to be very popular 30 years ago. I used them a lot. I haven't heard nobody mention them for at least 25 years ago.
Maybe be the original poster might tell you about the "Brazilian Airbus Pass"? At least on the mighty Google "Brazilian Airbus Pass" is never heard. I have a source criticism filter so I don't need to see the original post. However, no worries, you can find flights to Manaus very cheap. Look at GOL and TAM.
Cheers.

https://brazilianairlines.com/brazil-airpass/That website shows 2 types of airpasses:
1. IF you fly to Brazil on Azul Airlines, United Airlines or TAP, Unlimited flights for 10 or 21 days, from the day you arrive in Brazil for $400 or $500. Not a bad deal, however, all fights must be booked in advance, which is a major deal-breaker for me as I am a creature of spontaneity and planning even a week in advance is an excruciatingly painful exercise for me.
2. Other passes are basically 4 flights for $500; also must be booked in advance. That means paying $125 per flight; I've been finding cheap tickets inside Brazil for less, without having to commit to a schedule.
I really wish the airlines would bring back "real" airpasses where I could drop a grand on them and fly anywhere for a month on standby basis, just show up at the airport and see what's available. In fact, if American Airlines brought back their lifetime unlimited first class travel pass for $1 million, I'd probably max out all credit cards, sell my house and car, rob a bank for the remaining $950 k, buy the pass, do 5 years behind bars for the bank robbery, and enjoy the rest of my life circling the world on first class flights, never needing hotels or restaurants. Shower in the lounges.

Yes I've seen some cheap fares to that place. Maybe I should make a trip there next time. It's definitely on the list.
Also, I am contemplating exploring the Ayahuasca thing. As I understand, it would be better to do it in some reputable, safe, and not-too-touristy place (I do wish for it to be somewhat authentic). Do you have advice to share? I've heard it's a thing in the Manaus area but I really don't want to do the fake tourst thing.

It's nothing I tried as I never touch any kind of drugs.
