One question. Why do you always take the conversation to marrying a paisas and putting her on a track? It sounds like you're trying to pimp your wife? Then break down the stats of how much a Colombian _ makes and yeah.

Why? Can't you just enjoy the fun of it all and the natural beauty? Why do you always take it to the math side of thing?

The second part: Which Natsha and Isabela?

I am a fan of that series and I would disagree that they are hotter than most every other Colombian girl I will say they are hot and I would like to make a personal movie with one or both of them.

LMK if this is possible.I wanted to say to guys that has never been in Colombia; yes, it is a Paradise, and you can afford it and you can meet the girl of your dreams, even a man with average looks, maybe not all guys, but far many more than back home! Personality are also a strong factor that are valued much higher here; I get friends and girlfriends since I'm a "persona amable", while it's a fundamental weakness in an aggressive Anglo-Saxon society!

That was a dream, a fantasy, marrying a pornostar / prepago. We all have such and the girls often ask me; what is your sexual fantasy; and we can talk about erotic subjects freely, and of course girl / friends sometimes ask how much girls make in SexPrison, about porno, female erotic stars, as Colombia has many famous bikini-models from Mejor Cola de la Valle, Chica's car Audio, etc. If any arrangement, marrying such a girl in the future; That's would be a miracle; I love miracles!

Half consciously half subconsciously I wright for guys so they don't do the same irreversible mistake as myself; I did not believe the good reports about Colombia back in 2005; so I went to Argentina and Peru instead; I only visited Bogota for a week 2006. That was a mistake based on the view that Colombia is / was South America's Lebanon and Medellin it's Beirut! Which was true back in the 90's. I lost 4 years, which could have been my very best ones, and I hope to prevent other guys from doing the same! There is an enormous difference between Colombia and Peru and Argentina; Colombia wins hands down in very central aspects; without necessarily loosing big on other parameters. It is easy to think that Latin America is much the same, but the difference is sometimes striking; that they all speak Spanish in all the countries (except Brazil, but it's very close) often leads us automatically to the conclusion that the culture are very similar, but it's not!

I apologize that I mixed up $$$ and the joyful living. It is strange that I -just as you say, I often write like that- since in my real life I'm very carefree about $$$ and just do what you advice me to; Just enjoy!

The Colombia feeling, The Cali-feeling, The Medellin-feeling, The Cartagena-feeling; I think Cartagena has the most magical feeling. When coming to Colombia, I just laugh of happiness, and many times living in Medellin; I stood on my balcony, or in the Bodytech gym, La 70; just thinking; I'm in Medellin and it's amazing, It's Amazing!

Natasha is the girl in "La Vecina" and Isabella is "Luchy", just Google; Natasha / Isabella / Luchy + Culioneros.

Colombianos find Venezuelan girls beautiful though I don't. The price of Venezuelan pros around Cucuta are higher than Colombian pros.

.I personally view the Venezolanas as the most beautiful, physically, in general.

Number 2 are the Colombianas, followed by the Brazillians.

The best I've met for girlfriends or more are the girls of northeastern Brazil, hands down.

Amazing beauty and sweet hearts.

I am in country #45 right now, including every Spanish-speaking country in South America and all but one in Central America, and I concur that venezolanas, on average, are the best looking women in Spanish-speaking Latin America (meaning excluding Brazil, where I have only been on the Amazon, not to any of the cities). Too bad everything else about the country sucks out loud. The most beautiful women overall, I would say, are Danish women. Obviously that depends on your tastes but not too many guys don't like tall, green-eyed blondes. I fucked a Danish tourist a couple of times last month in Guatemala and she was so tall, I had to go up on her.

I can see why Dutch wouldn't be interested in Danes since there are also plenty of tall blonds in The Netherlands. However, to me, the Dutch women are a bit more zaftig and tend to look more wholesome and apple pie-ish, whereas the Danes have more of a sly and naughty look about them, similar to Slovak women whom I also rate fairly highly. OTOH colombianas have way too much silicone (or whatever they use these days) for me. Also they tend to apply perfume with a Wagner Power Painter and I'm sensitive to that. There are about five brasileras in my hotel in Honduras right now and while all are doable, none is particularly striking. I had a very good looking brasilera I fucked off and on for a couple of years in Argentina but she wasn't a very good person. I'll be studying porto in Portugal later this year and maybe that will motivate me to go to Rio. Or not; I can't take heat and humidity and even less so in my declining years. I can read porto pretty much but I can't understand it.

I came to Brazil speaking pretty good spanish, and picked up portuguese pretty quickly once I decided to study a bit.

The good news is, as you know I'm sure, the basic language structure is the same, with some nuances and pronounciation differences.

I've grown to really like the portuguese language; spanish with a flair.

Authorities in Colombia have arrested 298 people in a nationwide operation against child sex offenders, prosecutors said. More than 1,180 arrest warrants were issued for the April 20-21 operation, and 298 people have been detained so far, the office of the country's top prosecutor said. This year, authorities have received 11,729 reports of such crimes involving 12,921 minor victims, they added. The bulk of the crimes were alleged sexual assaults against minors under the age of 14. I have now worked out a plan that gives me; 5 times a year for 5 weeks in Colombia, and sustaining my full-time employment at home! Which though requieres a fix of my current creditstatus, but that is nothing that can be done properly in 7-16 months, depending on which mood I'm into; flojo or juicioso!

That will be living in paradise 50% of my time! A dream comes true, yes, it demands restrictions on how many prepago and novias I can have and what to do with them; but I hope non-economical factors; like going to the gym on a daily basis can substitute to some extent for what money before has bought, and some more language-skills and so on!

I have during the last year, since 2009 and even before, noticed a pattern; "all" females that are attractive are always occupied, from Monday morning to Sunday late Night; even my X-novia in Medellin (currently a very good friend) seems to be occupied 24/7; is that for real or is it an attitude?

I have tons of Sparetime and I can't imagine being occupied 24/7, I would crack immediately!

Last girl, from Latineuro; 30 yo with a 12 yo son; works as nurse full time and then spend 3 hrs and the gym 8 pm-11 pm, on a daily basis; another chica almost the same, and a 3rd etc.

Work, studies, the gym, dominating mother, children, or without one or 2 of this; or even three; always occupied; the 30 yo even complained that extranjeros wanted to chatt with her; "trabajo y tengo compromisos why no tengo tiempo para chatear".

What does this Calvinistic attitude in a Catholic country attitude comes from? The contrast to The Barrio Girls and Prepago / Models are striking; many do litterlarly nothing! If they have to; its "aburrido". And they have kids! And moms!

One paisa friend told me about what is Colombians greatest problem and what is reflected in the corrupt and egoistic (and group egoism) "higher up in the social hierarchy"; let someone else do it; for the lower class its the local government, for the rich its the heavliy underpayed poor; "Mentalidad de pobre".

But then you have the total opposite; persons that work, studies, take care, goes to the gym; and are doing so more than 16 hours a day! And do it for life, My X-novia even goes to the hospital; for being burnt out! Yes, its true, she burns herself out!

The mentality about how to rationalize work has its own Catch 22; the shops are full of people that earn minimum-wage. They can be cut in half if the wages raise to a proper level, lets say + one millon pesos; but can employment keep up with such rationalisations? There are people everywhere, all earning minimum-wage. For a person from Northern Europe; 1/4 do the same work here, much due to a very high capital input, which in turn needs a lot of engineers and lawyers since the system becomes very advanced both technically and juris. When that "wave" comes to Colombia, what will happen with millions of persons that today hope of better payment and will maybe end up unemployed? The mentality is that you care about your own group and / or family; that pattern of conflict prevails, especially in Argentina, where rich and influent families does well, while the whole society does not; and it has been like that since the 60's! Now Argentina experience another cyclical economic crisis, a thing that is now a permanent fenomenen! Which pattern does Colombia follow; is the current growth due to factors that are temporarily good and when they change, low economic growth per capita comes back, poverty, civil war? Much of the investments since 2009 has been a one-time thing since Colombia has been the less worse alternative, chosen before the domestic market or Brazil, that risk / yield has been temporarily to expensive! What happens with all those, 100's of thousands apartments and houses that are being built in Colombia today if the economy slows down after a Greek failure and exit, which will trigger a crisis like that of 1998; followed by Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina (again).

The girls want me (us) to surrender; they say they have no time for socializing; and that men only look for sex; then I (we) have to come with a counter-bid; I" can pay you what you earn if you just blablaha" etc, I seems to me that it is their "strategy" to provoce such male behaviour of being a good provider. One of the long-time most popular girls on Colombiancupid one time forgot to put of her Skype when having discussed a date with me; he was telling her female friend about her strategy; how to treat foreign men so that she got the most out of it; all her beahaviour are more or less a theater; and it is easy to fall in a trap!

They keep you alone to make you feel miserable and then, when you are at your lowest, they "negociate". You, me; we loose!

Its an intelligent strategy; but what is the guy are honestly in love? They then push away a willing family provider? Yes, I'm sure that happens. Since this strategy is actually more of a behaviour than a conscious thought since a reality check seldom is done; "what the other part think is purely presumed, never investigated.

Its typical Colombian; the people have no experience of foreigners and treat us, me like either gods or living wallets in a mix that makes me confused from time to time!

I though this might be of interest:

After considering all of the facts and authorities set forth above, then, the Court finds, under the totality of the unique circumstances of this case, that the imaging and search of the entire contents of Kim's laptop, aided by specialized forensic software, for a period of unlimited duration and an examination of unlimited scope, for the purpose of gathering evidence in a pre-existing investigation, was supported by so little suspicion of ongoing or imminent criminal activity, and was so invasive of Kim's privacy and so disconnected from not only the considerations underlying the breadth of the government's authority to search at the border, but also the border itself, that it was unreasonable.

Mexican immigration is really cracking down on any girls traveling to Mexico. Last Friday they flew 13 girls back, including a friend of mine who was coming to visit me, and who has a legitimate job in Santa Marta, a bank account, and had the equivalent of one thousand dollars in her possession. She also had photo copies of my Mexican residency, a copy of my passport, and other identifying documents of mine, as well as a business card of my attorney in Mexico. They told her flat out that they believed she was coming to Mexico to work as a prostitute and the money she was carrying was probably a prepayment by the person or business she would be working for. I have had several girls in the past year vacation with me in Mexico without any problem, but there are now so many girls from South and Central America coming to work as prostitutes that they are cracking down on any females traveling without male companions.

Note: the 13 girls were from various flights and days, but were being held in immigration lock up until they could be put on flights back to there home areas. The 13 left the immigration jail together this past Saturday.

Latineuro offers many hot girls that want to have a relationship with foreign men.

They want to spend money, but not be "putas".

Travelling, gifts, help her with her university etc; that is OK, some spending loose. But NEVER in a more sex = money -way.

+90% get very offended by this, even if it's +90% the same-same in the end.

Play the good gentleman and let her play the good girl, it works like a charm.

Compared to US / EU prices maybe 10-30% for a girl that is +8 up to 10's!

I just love this Latineuro.com site. All girls look good, very good.

There are other sites; I just use Colombiancupid and Latineuro, anyone uses other sites with good results?

Sponsorship seem to be a form that works out for many girls with very good looks and more class; LegalTender; help us, teach us your "scholarship"-strategy!

The good thing with such relationships; it often leaves time and $$$ for some ST sex activities at the side.

Has anyone from the East Coast used JetBlue to fly into MDE (Medellin), yet? There is a 55 min connection in FLL to change planes if you fly in from the NYC area, I was wondering if that was easy to accomplish. Also if JetBlue misplaced your checked luggage on this routing. Last time I flew United connecting in Bogota, they misplaced my luggage and I had to wait over 48hours for them to get it to me.

On their schedule there is even a 30 min connection but I figure that would be playing with fire?

What is the price for the flight?

NYC-FLL.

FLL-MDE.

From CPH (Copenhagen) to FLL to MDE it`s the most economical, but with a lot of hour waiting, complicated flightscheduele. But with detailed planning and some luck it can be both economical and fast. with Norweigan on momondo.com

The best is still CPH-MAD (Madrid)-MDE. There are a place nearby the MAD airport for 27 a night, but you need to stay 3 nights, but if you are recurring traveller it`s not needed. Staying and enjoying 1-3 nights in MAD is`t that bad nor expensive.

Thanks bro!

Searching with www.momondo.com; The best prices I get; flight from NYC (via FLL) to MDE for $US412, October 7th- November 4th with Spirit, JetBlue slighly more expensive.

From FLL only, I get $US 277, with Spirit. JetBlue / Avianca is again more expensive at $US381.

But he wanted to know about Jet Blue, a low cost carrier. He could always go direct from NY to Medellin on Avianca if that was not a concern.I got myself all worked up over nothing. Initially I was going to Rio during Thanksgiving. Prices was around $650 R/T in May on the two frequent flyer programs that I use the most: AA & United. Try booking now and the prices are closer to $800 R/T (AA) and $850 R/T (UA)! So I started looking to changing my destination back to Medellin again (would be trip #3 for 2015) Found JetBlue itinerary at $497 R/T all in, so that's why I am asking about connection time in FLL. But it looks like I fly AA for about $580 R/T, Copa & Avianca for $600 R/T so it looking like I won't be a TrueBlue convert anytime soon.

When we go to the casa I think most of of look for certain extras (for me, kissing and BBBJ).

How do you guys negotiate that? I try to pick a girl that smiles / etc. I usually negotiate before picking the girl (if I wait, I may get a no). But in this case they often ask for a specific tip. The downside to this is sometimes the extras are done poorly, and I still have promised a tip (so I pay it).

Do people have other approaches to getting better service? I guess its the luck of the draw, but maybe I can improve the odds.

I had a six hour layover in Mexico City. Never again will I fly through Mexico City. They make you go through Customs, Immigration and Security for nothing. I was In Transit, but they don't give a fuck. I could have made an earlier flight back home, if it wasn't for their bullshit.I could never understand why passengers in transit had to go through customs / security etc. At stop overs on international flights back to USA. It's happened to me in Singapore, Dallas, New York, Lima etc. Then I learnt that this that the USA government asked other countries to do after 911. It is annoying and time wasteful and outdated policy.

At most airports there is no secure area for people who are only passing through to be while awaiting their next international flight. A person can just walk out of the airport anytime then all of a sudden they are in a country illegally. To keep this from happening the passenger is just processed into the country regardless. A couple of places that immediately stand out where this does not happen are Tokyo Narita, Nagoya, and Bangkok. There you only have to pass through security because there is no way out of their international departure gates without going through immigration and customs.

Mr E is right on. It has nothing to do with USA. Like Me E said, most airports do not invest in the infrastructure needed to physically separate transit passengers from exiting passengers.

IMHO it is Cartagena. That city meets all your criteria and perfect Colombian city for a first timer who is not on a deep budget.

BTW, unless you stick to Casas and street girls, you will find mongering in big cities in CO more expensive than some of the other places you mongered, especially compared to DR (I Think).

My 10 cents is Cartagena or Cali, Beach, water, tourist stuff to do. Girls.

IMO Mede and Bogota Lack the golf, fishing, hiking, etc that the cost cities have to offer. If you're looking for a batchelor party type trip. Drinks, clubs, restaurants, party, party favors; p.

Mede is the way to go with Bogota a distant 4th IMO (I used to go for work, a blessing and a curse).

Prices in Colombia run the gambit. Nothing like SEA cheap. Cheaper than CR, Panama, The Islands and maybe DR.

It has nothing to do with the US government. Actually it is. Check out the state Department. I have missed my connecting flights each and every time. I was hoping that they would get rid off this policy with their last changes to rid off some of their policies, they still stuck with this. Yes, there areaging airports and infrastructure but it has happened to me in new newer airports too. Two unrelated topics.

Spirit flies from La Guardia to PTY for $193 plus whatever robbery they charge for your luggage. PTY to SDQ is $500 RT non-stop on Copa and PTY to MDE is $233. MDE to NYC is $253. So you could fly into PTY, do a round trip to SDQ and back to PTY, and then two more one ways. That would cost you around $1,250 with luggage fees on Spirit.

How come it is so much cheaper to fly MDE-NYC than it is MDE-FLL?Because there is a larger supply of seats to be sold on the NYC route than the FLL route. Remember Economics 101: the higher the supply, the lower the price. Just like when De Beers took over the diamond market. They limited the supply of diamonds going out so that the price would rise. Diamonds (which are intrinsically worthless - it's a damn rock for goodness sake) could be bought at next to nothing if they put the ones they are hoarding into the market. Same as the oil producing countries do. They slow down the production and the price goes up. Same reason I refuse to pay a lot for pussy. There are billions of them walking around just like acorns falling off of trees. There is nothing that makes one worth $100 in my eyes. Now if you happened to go to some remote location where there were only 2 or 3 pussies available then $100 may be justifiable.

Lou23, I just booked a business class from Ohio to MIA, then from MIA to MDE combined total $450 one way. I timed a few hours layover in MIA so just in case of delays, I will not miss my flight to MDE. I used delta and Avianca, man was it cheap. Also, I fly on Tuesdays as these are the less traffic days so more open seats and less demand. I checked other sites to compare, yes it does take time but I saved about $500 bucks. I know booking a round trip is sometimes cheaper but I am a open end traveler, I leave when I feel like leaving and don't put the pressure to try and do a lot of things in a little time frame. Good luck.

Mr adams. Now are we to take you seriously? You have been posting for several years on different boards but only with questions. Not a single report or accounts and tips to help others based on your "wild stuff" in Europe. A schoolboy perhaps?

On the offchance that you are not a troll, some basics are, South America is like a different universe. There is plentiful options in every country you go to, and cheaper than Europe. Brazil, the largest country, speaks Portuguese, not Spanish, and has some of the most sophisticated and varied options. It is vast, with roughly the land mass of all of Europe and covers three time zones, so not much point in giving you a whole wiki on the subject of paid sex until you are more up to speed. The choice of country, until you know them, is more likely to depend on things like your available cash for airfares, what you want to do other than sex and, if you were a budget traveller, how good you are at learning to be streetwise quickly.

But so far, you are all questions and no input. Has it never occurred to you that this is a forum where mongers try to help each other.

Mr adams.I will respond to your question in the hope you will write a trip report after you make your choice.

I will only comment on the spots I have visited so there could be better choices for you than I am commenting on.

1. Peru- So many things to do, and see. Great food, and women.

2. Colombia- A no brainer.

3. Nicaragua- Quite a few drawbacks, but a good spot once you learn the ropes.

4. Costa Rica- Expensive, but hits the spot.

5. DR- Nice beaches, but a place where you have to be on your toes.

6. Mexico- Mostly over priced. Not my cup of tea.

I have been to Medellin a couple times and it is an obvious no brainer (I have tried to contribute a bit on the Medellin board for other newbies). However you seem to rank Peru above Colombia. Never even considered Peru, is all the action in Lima? Is this a viable option for a non-Spanish speaker? How do you rate this compared to Medellin?

Thanks in advance. Both have great weather while Lima does a winter, but it is mild. Lima is a great, and very safe city if you stay in the Mira Flores area. The food in Lima is the best in my travels. There seemed to me to be more English spoken in Lima then MDE. The price of fun is more reasonable in MDE then Lima by quite a bit. So that is a drawback if you travel a little light in the pocket. I like Lima better as I can go to a great sports bar in Lima, and bet horses, and sports. After all how much mongering can you take?

What you failed to mention is it has been years and years since you have been in some of these places due to you falling in love, so things quite possibly have changed. It has been about 18 months since I'll been to Colombia, and about four, and a half years since Lima. In the time since I have followed the boards in both citys, and the only thing that has seemed to change is a better exchange rate favoring the dollar.

Of course if I have been outdated then fellows who have been in these spots lately can step in to air their opinions.

As for you I think Mexico is where you can import your vast expertise while fellows like Hilltopper have become the new CTG go to guy. You were once great in that area, but as they say in horse racing (you can't keep up the pace) .

As far as falling in love well that is what makes the world go round.

Mr adams.I'll make my pitch for Medellin. This gives me an opportunity to share a video (now 8 years old) that's a tribute to the girls of Medellin. I spend about one-third of my time in Medellin and I'm in the dis-accumulation phase of my life. For several years have provided scholarships for half a dozen girls in Medellin. Reviewable after each semester. That's whose on my menu. But if it's a 30 minute sexual interlude for less than twenty bucks, you can't beat visiting one of the many houses of pleasure that are ubiquitous in Medellin. Medellin is called the "Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera" - the City of Eternal Spring for a reason. The climate is "perfecto. " The people are friendly, and in my experience, the most beautiful and sexual women available. There is truth in advertising sometimes: The only problem with Colombia is that you'll never want to leave. Digressing, I don't post often but for some members who have not seen it, and for guaranteed revisit of fond memories for the veterans, enjoy this: https://youtu.be/vfjw28fSVfI.

Pussy whipped is another expression to describe it. Sad but true, and now you are to scared to experience the life a monger again because of the fear of a woman. I am just keeping it real. Whats up fellas.

First off I'm Latino and Spanish speaker and I enjoy traveling to Mexico. I have read a lot about Colombia and its beautiful girls. I'm interested in Non-Pros in the college age range. To those who are experts on this region what do you is your advice to me to make this trip a successful one.

Thanks for your responses in advance.

NV365You're asking about non pros on a working girl message board? LOL!!

Time. If you have a long trip planned, speak Spanish (as stated you do) and are decently handsome than you should have no problem. You meet girls in Mexico, Colombia, Boston, LA, Las Vegas, etc the same way. You say Hello!

If she thinks your attractive you're good to go. If not see you later and move on. Having money is a plus and prob a must as well. Pussy ain't never free, drinks, diner, taxi. That's all on you and if you think you're going 50/50 think again!

You. If you are young (either of age or heart. Please guys don't start the young vs old debate and the tired ass argument that "Some girls like older guys. " We all know what side the butter is buttered)) good looking, language skills (check), smart funny, out going, cool, interesting, in good shape, good dancer (said you're Latino so I'm going to check that off ahhahha) and have money, well dressed. You'll be fine.

Than you'll be fine. At least a combo of these things; be the best you possible. If you're some creepy, old (or mind no just body. Plase guys) gross slob, bald in a bad way (George Castanza vs Vin Diesel), dressed like you stepped off a cruise ship (IE not appropriately, not funny, not interesting, not cool, not a good dancer. You're not getting laid anywhere!

Recap:

Normal girls are the same in any and every country, clubs, malls, bars, everywhere, Bartenders and waitresses are always the hardest pulls because they get chatted up all the time!

You always pay; gas grass or ass nobody rides the pussy wagon for free.

Be the best you can be. If you more of the negative traits than the positive you need to look in the mirror and try to improve yourself. Best foot forward and all that good stuff.

PLEASE guys don't start the Old vs Young argument. If you're of advanced years and pulling chicks it's probably because you always have dud to the traits on the good list. Good for you! And Keep on rocking out!

If you ain't pulling chicks back home there is a reason why. Lots of young guys DO NOT have game either!

This will be trump to the Old vs Young argument. When we go out do we look for the old, chubby, worn out, lady in the ill fitting dress? Or do we go look for the young, thin / shapely, alive and happy, girl in the tight sexy dress?

We are just talking about getting laid here guys.

Real talk. And yes I pull girls back home and non pros. FYI so you know I'm not full of shit.

The only thing on your list is actually Florida where you have permitted a girl to put a ball and chain around your ankles. Pussy whipped is another expression to describe it. Sad but true, and now you are to scared to experience the life a monger again because of the fear of a woman. I am just keeping it real. I find it very sad when a grown ass man permits a woman to control and influence his decision making. Where I am from it is a called being a sissy, and it is looked down upon as being weak.Wow it took you 3 days to think up this post?

If having a real relationship with a non pro is what you call being weak then I guess you have a called a lot of members on ISG weak also.

LOL.

LOL.The difference is they still monger and enjoy the fruits of Colombia and other places, but are not scared to venture out in fear of what another woman may think. That is the big difference. Hope to see you venture out again in the near future.

I'm not of old age. So you can scratch that. I get what you're saying about you got to be yourself and if you can't pick up girls here you can't pick up girls there. That is all well in good. And it makes sense in a uniform world. But what I have learned from my travels is that girls vary from country to country and you better believe from city to pueblo based on their culture, economic status etc. Ii think you touched on that a little bit.

What I really want to know is the ins and outs of female pursuit in Colombia. Mostly where are the cities I should consider what places I should spend my time malls beaches etc. Is flirting with these girls a safety risk etc.

FYI so you know I'm not full of shit. There is no such thing as free sex. Our daddy's didn't get it, and neither do we. Women want security and protection, even though what gives them that is subjective. To some it's the latest cell phone, to others it's being able to take care of a child, parent or grandparent or just survive modestly. Some require a promise of a lifetime others offer a few hours of their time for a gift of appreciation. Now that truth makes this banter about young and old disrespectful and irrelevant. Youth and it's attributes have demonstrable benefits, burdened by lack of experience and proven stability. That's why it's called youth. Women aren't nearly as visually orientated as men are. For very 100 tit bars there might be one strip club featuring men for women.

It isn't even a thick wallet that attracts women, it's being interested in them and their lives, even if you only spend a night or afternoon. And, not surprisingly there is an appreciation for stability, success and maturity. Everyone recognizes class, and yes it's obvious that you're not full of shit.

Only good energy, amigo.

Only good energy, amigo.Oh legal! Couldn't resist eh? Hahhaha! I addressed the "pussy never free" in my original post and keep in mind the OG poster was talking about picking up "non-pros" not how to get a wife. That being said YOUNG has a huge roll in the game of attraction. We're talking about a sprint you're talking about a marathon.

First one to convince this girl to bed wins! LOL! I'll put my money on the young handsome guy 10/10 times and twice on Sunday. The rest you're talking about is what matters in the long run, building a bond and relationship, nobody talking about that! LOL! Even if it came down to two guys in their 50-60's fighting over a girl; a young pretty girl. Everything being close if not equal except one guy was handsome? WHo she going to pick? The handsome guy! Looks matter! Youth Matters!

https://screen.yahoo.com/sexual-harassment-000000677.html this SNL sketch sums it up. Truth in humor.

"Women want security and protection." Actually they want security usually means financial security and stability and attention! I've said it 100 x times! Attention from the guy they want not just any old compliment. See linked Video above.

"It isn't even a thick wallet that attracts women,. " I bed to differ and there are several places such as LA, Miami, NYC, Las Vegas where this claim falls flat. As some rich guy will have several hot women with him. It's not for the conversation or because he is interesting!

You ever have a dating site girl or FB chica ask you to send her a picture? It's not to see if you're a nice guy! It's to see how gross or handsome you are. Even working girls don't want to sleep with gross dudes. They just put up with it. Looks matter en every aspect of our lives!

Are you saying do that over their in Bogota? And then change to pesos. You should have done it before leaving the country that the currency is from. You are subject to lose 20% of what it is really worth trying to exchange minor currencies by swapping in a different country. And it is definitely not a good idea to use the exchange places in the USA. I would just save it for the next trip to Brazil.

Only good energy, amigo. It appears that the Colombian society today is like the west in the 80's- people are fascinated by material wealth. Driving BMW and having a big screen TV is fashionable to them. It doesn't matter if you have read Shakespeare or know the Marriage of Figaro, or have contributed tons of money to academic institutions. You will look good and trendy if you wear $200 jeans and have a nice apartment. To the most people in Colombia, the price determines the value, rather than vice versa.

Driving BMW and having a big screen TV is fashionable to them.It has nothing to do with Colombia. That has to do with being young. I am 43 and have owned 2 Lexus in the past 17 years. In high school, college, and the military I was the Polo kid. Now I shop at Goodwill and if I ever need another car then it will be a used Toyota Corolla.

Investigators can't treat a laptop like a handbag during warrantless border searches, Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington held. ".

In her order suppressing the laptop evidence, Jackson wrote:

"The imaging and search of the entire contents of Kim’s laptop, aided by specialized forensic software, for a period of unlimited duration and an examination of unlimited scope, for the purpose of gathering evidence in a pre-existing investigation, was supported by so little suspicion of ongoing or imminent criminal activity, and was so invasive of Kim’s privacy and so disconnected from not only the considerations underlying the breadth of the government’s authority to search at the border, but also the border itself, that it was unreasonable."

It seems to me the West / the US hasn't changed much in their enthusiasm for "things" in the 90's, 2000's, or 2010's. In fact I'd say our society is as materialistic right now as it's ever been.

Just got here yesterday and am staying in Poblado. The international exchange rate is over 3100 to the dollar but no one will give me more than 2850. At the airport, there were two exchange rates at the cambios. One was 2850 and the other was 2860. So I changed just enough to get to Poblado thinking it is always better in town. Tried three exchange houses and all were stuck at 2850 so I went to BancoColombia and stood in line only to find out that is what they are paying as well.

Finally, I used the ATM which gave me 3100 but that rate doesn't factor in the bank charges. Got to get a Schwab card.

I uunderstand that everybody needs to make a little money in the money exchange business but this seems exorbitant.

Spray generic Viagra ("Lysto") - spray under tongue about 15 minutes before. Very good as a quick booster.

Chewable generic Viagra. Gets into your system a bit faster than regular.

Liquid Cialis (generic) - haven't tried it, but some guys swear by it.

Guys, not too long ago I met a fantastic girl in Brazil.

The more time we spend together, the better we get along, the more I respect and admire her and the more I genuinely care and love her.

The chemestry between us is crazy good!

I mongered for a long time, and had lots of fun, however, the time was right for me to find someone "special".

Being together and traveling together and knowing that someone really 'digs' me is great and totally satisfies me.

The 'mongering game' is obviously fun and enjoyable, and I wish all you guys the best of the best in your travels.

I still get on the ISG, mainly to get some chuckles, check up on old mates, give a little advice at times, and make some occassional sarcastic remarks.

Thats all great! However.

The funny thing is and the main reason I'm sharing this is to say it's just crazy how there is a member of this ISG that messages my girlfriend to tell her I'm still posting on the ISG (she already knew about the site itself), that I'm posting about hook-ups (which I'm not), and that I'm generally a lying scumbag and that she should be with him, even though he's never even met her in person. Crazy guy for real!

It'd be funny, if it wasn't so pathetic really.

I've told my girlfriend everything about my past, and I know of hers.

We've put it in the past.

I'm happy now, only with her.

We talk about this guy too, that writes her, and it just baffles me how pathetic this dude is.

Dude, I know you'll read this post.

I know who you are, I'm a nice guy, but not stupid, and neither is she.

Just move on with your life.

Between Brazil and Colombia, you have literally millions of other girls to choose from!

I feel sad for you, for your actions, however, I wish you luck in moving on.

'Cuba Dave' arrested in Costa Rica.

Traveler nabbed on prostitution charge.

BY ADAM LINHARDT Citizen Staff.

alinhardt@keysnews.com

A 65-year-old Key West man who has long offered online tips for men seeking female companionship in the Caribbean and Latin America is being held in a Costa Rica prison on allegations he violated the country's prostitution laws.

Costa Rica authorities arrested David "Cuba Dave" Strecker on Sept. 4 at Juan Santamaria airport, while he was attempting to fly back to the USA, on charges he was promoting sex tourism by way of his blog and other online activities, Strecker said, in a phone interview with The Citizen from San Sebastiáand prison in San Jose.

Strecker faces at least four years in prison if he is convicted. A judge has denied him bail, deeming him to be a flight risk, Strecker said.

His Facebook pages, such as "CubaDave in Costa Rica," among others, appears to have been taken down. His website cubadave.com — once filled with pictures of women and descriptions of his various sexual escapades as well as tips for others on topics ranging from avoiding [CodeWord902] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord902) prostitutes to practical advise on transportation and hotels — now only features a synopsis of his current legal quagmire with links to PayPal.com to help him pay for legal fees.

In a Miami New Times newspaper profile in 2013, Strecker described his travel philosophy and was referred to as a "self- described sex addict. " That profile featured a picture of his bedroom that was wallpapered with photos of women he reportedly had sex with at least a dozen times.

That profile also stated Strecker was detained in Sosua, Dominican Republic in October 2013 and had his laptop, cellphone and camera confiscated.

Strecker said he is accused of violating a 2012 Coast Rica law that makes it illegal for a third party to profit on prostitution, though prostitution itself remains legal there. He added that he is the first person to be arrested on the charge, according to his Costa Rican lawyer.

The construction worker said he was in Costa Rica for a 12-day vacation and that he has been visiting the country for more than a decade.

Strecker downplayed the sexual nature of his travels, saying that he provides tips to travelers on a wide range of things, from transportation to sightseeing advice, but admitted that he does often give advice on how to safely have sex with women for money.

Strecker is not accused of having sex with minors. He was adamant that he has never engaged in such activity and that he has never suggested to others where such activity can be found, not only in Costa Rica, but in other countries he's long visited — mainly Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

"In their mind, by me posting things or telling others how to safely do this, I'm promoting prostitution," Strecker said. "There are lots of other things to do in Costa Rica. That part of it is only part of the trip, but they're trying to make this look like that's all my focus is. ".

Strecker said the authorities were tipped off by an anonymous source. He believes that source is a former business associate who helped operate some of his websites or blogs who double-crossed him to avoid prosecution. The Citizen could not reach Costa Rican authorities and has no way to substantiate that allegation.

Ashley Garrigus, a spokeswoman for the Bureau of Consular Affairs with the USA Department of State in Washington the. See. , said the USA Embassy in San Jose was closed on Tuesday and the government was working on verifying Strecker's status in Costa Rica.

"Unfortunately, for privacy reasons, we can't always comment" on pending matters, she added.

Key West resident Hank Allen met Strecker in Cuba in 2003 and formerly worked with him at the same airline.

"I don't agree with everything that Dave does, but did he break the law?" Allen asked. "Prostitution is legal there. Dave doesn't have a wife or kids or anybody to shame except himself and he likes to be the center of attention. ".

If you paint a target on yourself you might get hit. CR is probably much less corrupt than DR. He might stand a better chance. Either way he is screwed. If he gets lucky and gets bail and his passport back later he might want to run. Fast. I had a problem in DR and hit the airport quick on bail after recovering my passport.

In my case the chick making problems was a niece of an alcade.

He surely made some mistakes, but he was very helpful with the intel he provided. The sad part is he is now in a terrible place for being helpful to the Mongering community.

I wish him well.He obviously pissed somebody off with connections. Pimping is illegal in CR. A facebook page offering to hook Gringos up with Ticas so publicly is never a good idea. Roberto, in Bar Idem has run that place for years (he's sick now and has been replaced) for the sole purpose of hooking guys up with many different types of girls and never had a problem. So putting 2 and 2 together shouldn't be too difficult. Lesson one, don't try to make money off your hobby and two, keep your info to this form and preferably via PM's, IMHO.

According to the story provided by LocoGringo, Cuba Dave has been denied bail. A judge has deemed him to be a flight risk. So he's stuck in a Costa Rican jail for now until his case comes up for trial. I'm curious how far the govt. Is going to take this case and what they will do with him. The story said they could keep him in jail for up to 4 years. Ouch.

And in the unlikely event they grant him bail, they sure as hell aren't going to give him his passport.

Travel Announcements (No questions or comments please). Using this thread could be dangerous.

Of course it is a longshot that they will bother a regular Monger, but my point is why put a target on yourself by giving them your travel plans. It really does not matter if your handle does not give your real first name. For example in say a flight to MGA which has few Gringos on it. They could look very cloesly at non Nico's on that flight. If they look at the boards, and see a poster giving all kinds of info then see he is coming to town then you are gift wrapping yourself.

I play percentages, and even if it is a 1,000 to one of getting stopped by these political correct Clowns I opt to not give them any edge on me.

If you want people to know you are in Country then do a trip report, and ask if anyone wants to meet for a drink. At least they can't locate you that way.

You can get it in the gift shop at the Mansion. Thanks again C. L. For the heads up on this. Found that generic see is now sold in all the pharmacies in Medellin. The pharmacists told me that Eli Lilly's patents expired a couple months ago and tadalafil can now be legally sold. Of 8 pharmacies in el centro and Pablado the best price I found was across the street from Parque Pablado just south of the church. They offer 2 for 1 promotions on some packages and told me the promotions have no expiration date. With promo you can buy 2 pills of 20 MG for 18 mil or 56 pills of 5 MG for 130 mil.

Powerful stuff! I have a very long payed vacation since our operation is stalled, so during a "pornday" I tried out a mix of 150 MG sildenafil, 60 MG tadalafil and a pill that has 2 active ingredients; vardenafil (Levitra) and SSRI that is in and out of the blood within 24 hs!

2014 I ordered to Medellin 2 times and must have saved several 100 reds of $US since I used them often during a 5 months period.

It take it's time to get the parcel, the site is serious and I besides delays, the service and products are of very good quality.

The name is "Snovitra Super Power", it has 60 MG SSRI, dapoxetine and 20 MG vardenafil.

It works like a charm!

I had a solid warm-steel-wood when ever I wanted during at least 10 hours and a lot of erotic dreams after that.

I'm in my 45 yo period and it's kind of climacteria for us!

Somedays it's needed, other days no pills what so ever is needed!

But I want garanteed success; a Colombian girlfriend only knows about Viagra and doesn't care much, she is more concerned that you don't satisfy her.

A prepago is a waste of money if you are not ready to have a full wood for the hour you are paying 150 k pesos for.

The 2 component pill; it drives away anxiety and holds off early comings, something that prepagos are experts in provoking.

Paulo Cuelho says in a writing that a prepago in reality only work 11 minutes of the hour you pay for; a unpropotional big part of the hour is spend AFTER you have had orgasm.

These pills garantee that YOU, not the prepago get's the most value; I. E. She has to work for one hour instead of Paulos estimated 11 minutes!

Sounds like a magical pill this "Snovitra".

Have you checked to see if colombian pharmacies have this pill??

Have you checked to see if colombian pharmacies have this pill??TDM24 use this method; you pay via your internetbank. Then after 2-3 , often more days, they have the money and send the order to the manufacturing company in india to send the parcel. First it goes to UK, London. There it is re-packaged and get a new EU-EU parcel, which customs not are aloud to touch, formally, they can, but in 9 out of 10 cases I get my pills!

They have separate instructions for the US, I think.

Getting the parcels to Medellin was no problem. But you have to remind them! I always get my products, they are serious. But sometimes it seems that an order can be forgotten in their internal system.

Since some months ago I have started to remind, remind, and it has speeded up the process.

An idea would be to, as I did, order it 2 months before you go to medellin, to an adress of a friend. No problem!

I don't know, but when I was sending something with Fedex from Colombia to Denmark, via the US, it was a lot of extra security rules and extra costs and it seems very complicated.

Who sends "drugs" in private parcels TO Colombia? We are a rare kind of importers, I guess!

The control into Colombia, for parcels at least can'be that complicated.

Sending money though, bank-to my x-novia`s bank was complicated; it was only like $200-300 , but still she had to answer a lot of control questions etc.

It was back 2013-14 I asked in the farmacias; they have sildenafil citrate almost for free, and the best was "masticable", chewable, they work quickly, very quickly!

But tadalafil and varenafil is still under monopol, which makes them super expensive, but soon it should be 10 years and then the patent.

Thats the latest info. I have , but things change rapidly in these days of rapid and enourmous international trade.

Anyone have more accurat info. on this issue?

SSRIs and Phosphodiesterase inhibitors (Viagra / cialis / Levita) combinations do work great. Depoxitine 30 MG (first SSRI dedicated for treatment of premature ejaculation) works really well but it is not as easily available. Paxil (Paroxitine) 10 MG works well also, in combination with ED meds. Paroxitine is readily available in CO for pennies. Reportedly, Lexapro aslo works well. Good luck and have fun.

BTW, I just called "Pasteur" pharmacy and they quoted me 78 k cop fo 4 tablets of 60 MG Depoxitine!! Too much and they don't have generic.

Have you used paroxitine and got good results? Cause it stays longer in your system and could lead to sexual disfunction,. Depoxitine is fast acting and flushes out of your system within 24 hrs that sounds safer to me.

Can I buy that in Medellin? You buy via a webshop; topdrugmart24.com.

You pay bank internationalpayment.

Then they give you the trackingnumber. It is produced in india. If you are in Europe it goes via UK, London, after that customs don't control parcels from one EU country to another. They might do, if they suspect drugs, but in 9 out of 10 parcels I recieve it. If it I narcotics, like benzo, xanax, Valium, Tramadol, whe customs destroy it. If it is anabolic steroids or ED medecine like this one, they are obliged to return it to the sender.

The process from ordering at topdrugmart24.com. Until you get it, it take a month, it can be much less or 2 months, so have it send to a friends adress way before you go, and build up a base of some 100-200 pills if you are a recurring traveller to medellin.

2014 in medellin still only sildenafil citrate was available, some brands very good and very cheap.

But as our friend wrote; 78 mil pesos for 4 pills! It's the same for Cialis and levitra, superexpensive!

I have used topdrugmart24.com since 2011 and their products have been very good. At prices that are in general acceptable.

I suspect US customs are control feeaks, but I don't know, maybe our gringo friend here can inform us.

Another option is to order from Panama; a friends friend could send ED etc. Whatever I needed from Panama to medellin.

It was just before going home so I never tried that service, but it might be a solution. Prices that the panama guy wanted was about the twice of the from that topdrugmart24.com for Cialis, Levitra.

I had a problem in Pereira.

My problem was that I did not make a reservation.

In the old days, when you booked online you paid more.

Not today.

The two problems for me was that I did not bring my passport, just the passport card, which they would not accept at Soratama Hotel.

So I stayed at the Ghl Hotel Abadia Plaza, which accepted the passport card.

But because I did not make reservation I paid US $86, instead of US $44 on bookings.com.

Although I did use bookings.com for the second day.

I don't even know who's involved but read some Ricker posts before, can hardly believe somebody would do that to him or any member, new or retired. But that's why sadly some of us here are forever single--got some serious mental / personality flaws like dude who tries to out a former member and then take his girl.

I'd normally try to insert a joke here, but damn, that is messed up.

I recently spent 10 days in Cali at the Cali Plaza Hotel. I made my reservation with Hotels.com. Their initial discounted rate was $28 a night. But their policy of paying the difference in price if it goes down bet. The time of making the reservation and you go to the hotel gave me a rebate. The rebate of $6 a night knocked the price of the room down to $22 a night. The normal rate at the hotel is around $40 a night, so I saved quite a bit on the price of the room per night.

It pays to use these internet travel companies like: Trivago, bookings.com, Expedia, Travelocity etc. It can knock the price of the room down a lot.

Hello everyone,

Will be back down CO finally after a year long hiatus next week and in my free time and for hopefully less money looking to get some regular Dr. Consults and prescriptions filled. The Rxs do require Doctors notes and some CO triplicate control drug forms however they are legal with the proper paperwork. So my question is other than the expensive Clinicas and Hospitals are there walk in clinics or smaller less expensive Independent above the board Doc. Offices for this type of service?

This IS NOT about me being in CO and trying to get crazy high all day with black market hard drugs but is about trying to treat some pre-exisiting musco-skeletal and insomnia conditions that I either do not have the time to jump through all the hoops in the US and pay all the inflated US Dr. Visit fees (now even with insurance). Plus these treatments I only take at night when safe in bed so can rest and recover for nice long hard days of mongering.

A little about my monger life. Hooked on it since was 23 in the Navy (now 49) and have experienced it around the world. Been to CO and CR combined 60 times +/- the last 10 years.

Cheers,

Cocr (adding MX soon).

The one thing almost every Latina has in common is they will do anything for their kids. So, I try to take 2 trips after Thanksgiving, the first week or two of December for a week or so and January 2nd or 3rd for a week. The point being, a lot of women with kids suffer thru most of the year because of absent fathers and a lack of support. Come Christmas they are desperate for money for Christmas. Most spend Christmas Eve with family thru and until new years day. The week between Christmas and New years is historically the worst time for our hobby. After new years is good again because most are broke and most likely spent the rent money. I have meet a lot of non pros and 'chippers' in December that probably you will never see during other times of the year. I've even had success with waitress and clerks around Christmas. The best part about it is, ok so maybe I'm a sucker, but I usually give them more money then usual and I feel good that maybe I made a nice Christmas for some poor kid.

I just got back from Cali, Colombia. The airfare was $536 round trip, SFO to Panama to Cali. The are very few tourists in Cali.

Everything is most likely cheaper in Colombia, except in Cartagena.

The last time I was in the D. R. a long time ago, it was good with not many guys, but now there are too many guys.

So, the prices are higher.

In Colombia you have different cities with different setups. If you go to Bogota you have Santa Fe, which is widely considered to be a dangerous part of town but if you use some common sense and don't act like you are confused and don't know where you're walking, then you will be fine. Lots of motel girls standing outside, some who are cute and most who are not. But the quality girls in terms of looks are in the clubs such as Atunes (daytime), El Castillo, Troya, Paisas, La Piscina, etc. You also have MP's and casas scattered throughout the city, and clubs outside of Santa Fe such as Pussy House. I have never had a problem finding a girl that I like, and to me they are better looking than DR chicas. Santa Fe gives you a good pump and dump experience, although if you go for an hour and get the girls number you can have GFE. YMMV.

If you go to Medellin, there are casas that are OK during the daytime. The area at night time is considered to be dangerous, but read about experiences in order to determine what you would need to do in order to minimize your risk. There are also clubs such as Fase Dos that have lots of hot girls. With any place whether it's a MP, casa or club, you can ask for the girls number and try to see her outside of work which tends to save a little bit of money. The other big thing with Medellin is FB chicas. There are a couple places such as the Mansion that cater towards people who want good looking girls, and they are right there. It's the easy thing to do, and some of the Mansion girls are very good looking. You have to be a guest to really see what is on-site though. But there are popular FB girls you can build up connections with, and eventually get in touch with other chicas. I usually go with the FB chicas, they generally give good GFE and you can have a TLN for 300 k to 400 k which comes out to just under $100 to $130. An hour will be about half that. I've been to Sosua plenty of times, and also Santiago and Santo Domingo. All have different setups as well, Sosua is point and click and it's hard to say there's any place like that in Medellin. In Sosua you can walk around a couple blocks, and get all that you need. Bogota and Medellin, it's different. They're very big cities, places are scattered around town, some in sketchy parts, so it takes a little bit more of an effort to get around but that should be expected of any large city. Colombian chicas won't approach you, and that's different from Sosua where you just need to sit down at Rumbas, and if you don't have girls coming to you all you need to do is look at one and she'll come over. In Colombia, don't expect too much of that. If you like a girl and there's no one talking to her, go up to her and introduce yourself, and try to talk in Spanish. So overall I would say that Colombia requires a little bit more of an effort, if you don't do any research and just show up you're not going to have a good time. You need to plan it out a bit if you can. The effort in the end, has been worth it to me. Flights are usually around the same as going to DR. If you need a beach there is Cartagena which I have done, but it's not a nice beach, and the hottest girls cost considerably more than Bogota / Medellin.

If you going to South Carolina, you should quit mongering.

Now seriously, if you are referring to DR vs. Colombia. There are pros and cons and that superiority thing does not apply because it all is a matter of taste, preference and the location where the women are.

Lets start with the DR. You will find darker women in the coast towns of Puerto Plata, Sosua, the Capital Santo Domingo and Boca Chica, Samana, Punta Cana. Sosua and Boca Chica are the best mongering destinations in the DR. You can find more variety and more lighter skin types in towns like Santiago, but also less P4 P there. The beaches in Sosua and Boca Chica are nice warm and clear blue water. The women in DR are beautiful. If you like natural women with no silicone surgery, the dark types, canella, dark chocolate Haitians, curly hair, waivy hair, straightened hair, and the minority white skin type, and lots of women with big booties and breast. DR women have bigger booties than Colombianas, I think. The DR girls are sweet and you could get lots of GFE experiences. But those GFE also can turn into big scammers and will try to get you as their western union novio. They will ask you for money all the time, for the baby's pampers, the children school, the sick mom, the sick father, the brother in jail, to buy them a moto, to buy them a computer, to pay for the school of their children, to pay the rent, to buy them a house, a car, to buy them clothes, to pay for the breast implant and butt surgery, and the list goes on and on. And they will be very sweet to you when the ask. E. G. In the first meeting after sex, "Ay papi dame esos condones tu no lo necesitas y tu tienes muchos. Ay papito mi amor mi vida mi cielo dame ese iphone, tu tienes dos why el mio no sirbe." DR girls are pure hustlers. They beat Colombianas in the hustler department. For a newbie, Sosua and Boca Chica is good to start. The weather in the DR is hot and humid in most places except for Constansa.

As for Colombians, it also depend on the location. If you like white women with black hair, cilicone enhanced women then Medellin is the place. There are tons on natural women and most are beautiful and sweet. Colombian women are definitely less needy than DR women but I found less GFE experience (but that is only personal experience), they are still sweet. The best mongering destinations in Colombia are Medellin, Bogota, and Cali. At the coast like in Cartagena, Barranquilla, and Santa Marta, they have darker complexions and less silicone. It is also more expensive in those areas but not necessarily better looking women. More scammers in Cartagena and very expensive. For a newbie, Medellin is a good place to start and is cheaper than Sosua and Boca Chica. In Puta prices, Medellin beats the DR and most other places in Colombia. The other places in Colombia like Carta, Barranquilla, Santa Marta are comparable to DR prices. I don't know if Bogota is cheaper than Medellin because I have not spent time in Bogota. The beaches are dumps in Colombia when you compared them to DR beaches. DR wins in the better beaches department. As for the food, I prefer Dominican food, but food are very similar. I think DR wins in the food area. The weather is hot and humid in some areas like Carta, Barra, Santa Marta, and is spring like in places like Medellin, Bucaramanga, and cold in Bogota. Colombia wins with the weather because of more variety.

I just got back from a trip to Cali and Medellin. Had a great time. For newbies rtff, and pm senior members for some great information. I'am a senior member but still reach out. Thanks wtg for keeping the list current and up to date. I got useful information from bayboy and dcfan post and a big thanks to vitrea for his contact info. Medellin wasn't bad weather wise, but Cali was so hot. Tip, if visiting Cali, instead of taking regular t shirts, take the quick drying t shirts like the ones they sell at under armour. You will thank me later.

The only negative thing that happened to me was that I lost my iphone. In it were pictures, prices and notes of my trip. Most of my post will be on memory, which wasn't good to start with. So forgive me if some of my post don't include names or prices. At almost all the casas, none of the girls would allow me to take pictures. The girls that did let me take pictures said not to post them. I guess it doesn't matter now.

I did alot of walking in both cities and never felt in danger. I was told not to call a cab from the street but that's all I did. Knock on wood, nothing bad happened. Actually most of the taxi drivers were honest and friendly. Lastly, like posters before me, most of the BJ's were covered. Of all the girls I saw, only three girls gave BBBJ.

The best part about it is, ok so maybe I'm a sucker, but I usually give them more money then usual and I feel good that maybe I made a nice Christmas for some poor kid.Very well said and I hope guys will search my key works in the title and find your advice! Super on point and 100% true. I'd like to add that there is a very festive mood this time of year with parties and chivas (bus things) going on plus the normal holiday parties. I would extend the "do no fly" zone till the Monday following Jan 1st because in Colombia that is familia time and they will go to the finca.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkXn-TP98PgI watched both videos. Good stuff for everyone traveling to any country to watch.

True story. Five years ago, in broad daylight, on a main street in Bogota with my back pack on, a crew of two (one in a wheel chair directing and the other standing behind me trying to open my back pack while I am waiting for the walk light) tried to rob me, I grabbed the pathetic guys hand and forced him against the building and with about 40 people watching told him never try this on another person again. Now get this. The ringleader, in a wheelchair rolls up and he gives me shit and I loudly explain to this piece of shit that if he tries this again he will have nothing left as I would break both of his hands too.

The 40 people crowd were laughing and applauding. Good Colombians love to be vigilantes to street scum.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkXn-TP98PgInteresting info about the tricks used in the emerald biz. Had no idea, I'll bet even the large "legit" companies use those processes. Don't know anything about stones so I never even considered buying, I figured I'd get scammed and pay at least twice the real value or worse.

Unless you know what you're doing, buying stones in a foreign country is an invitation to get fleeced, might as well pay the premium and buy from a legit dealer in the states or in Europe.

As for the other scams, that's old news. My advice is be very alert in the crowded commercial areas of Bogota where there's lots of people on the streets shopping or going from store to store. Don't stop for anyone no matter what they try to distract you with and if someone brushes by you, move away quickly.

The scope scams aren't hard to avoid; Colombian women are conservative, they never make the first move, even the putas in Colombia are like this. Any chica that's flirting with you or approaches you cold is either a puta desperate to make some easy money, or possibly a member of one of those scope gangs the TV crew exposed.

Gringos who go down there and are not familiar with the Colombians and their habits and behaviors get easily confused by this, they compare with some of the women back home who behave in a similar flirty fashion, and so think that's normal down there.

Or they conflate the friendliness of Colombians in public daytime settings with night venues that have a more sexual atmosphere. Which as I've just explained is not the case at all.

Always make the first move, and ignore the more aggressive and assertive chicas, and you should be fine.

As for the drinks, I try to stick with beer bottles, or bottles of rum, LOL, it's harder to pour poison down a narrow bottleneck.

Once I order a drink in Bogota, it never leaves my hand until I finish it. I even take it with me to the bathroom, LOL, I don't care about any strange looks I get.

If I get distracted by someone who wants to chat with me, I'll instinctively bring the bottle to my chest, and cover the opening with my thumb.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkXn-TP98PgIt's difficult to believe the guy who made the second video has traveled for any length of time. He made so many mistakes, I don't know if he did anything correctly. Even though he had a hotel room, he had all his valuables in that backpack. Then he says he doesn't know how they opened the zipper on his backpack. Take any pointed object, like a ballpoint pen, and stick in the zipper. It separates!

Here's just a few pointers for the inexperienced traveler. Once you are in your hotel, leave your valuables there except what you will need for the immediate trip away from the hotel. Carry a copy of your passport, leave the real thing in the hotel. While you are traveling, and not checked into a hotel, do not put all your valuables together. Put money and credit cards in various parts of whatever type of luggage you are carrying. Do not use a backpack to carry valuables; have them in something that you can see at all times. That's just a few of the major precautions, I'm sure others have more.

Anyone ever get a part time girlfriend pregnant in Colombia? I got one girl pregnant in DR and daughter is now 7. Never had problem with mother. Once I had test run to make sure baby was mine, I send money monthly which is minimal and visit a few times per year.

But now if true I got this girl pregnant in Colombia. So I am heading there next month to get things checked out. It wasn't an accident I just am wandering if they have more stringent laws. Hopefully I can just work it out with girl, once baby is confirmed mine. I don't have problem with money I just want to keep it a fair amount.

Anyone that's been in this situation any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks.I think Colombia and most South American countries laws are not the same as in USA where you need to pay a lot of money for child support like a big portion of your monthly salary.

But the best thing you should do is stop banging those girls bareback.

Thanks. No worries as there are hundreds of thousand of single mothers in Colombia raising there own kid from a dead-beat Colombian man. The laws are such that the men don't have to give a shit about impregnating a girl with absolutely no responsibility or consequences. NONE! Raising kids with help from the biological father is almost non-existant.

Stepping up and doing the right this is respectable in our culture but not in Colombia or anywhere else in Latin America for that matter.

Hello fellow mongers,

Can you guys recommend some dating sites that have a lot of girls who are open to P4P.

I am not not looking for a wife or full time girlfriend, just looking to do some home work before my trip in July.

I am honest and upfront with the girls on my intentions. I am not trying to mislead them into thinking more than just a good time for money.

I am planning to go to Cartagena if that makes a difference of more activity on certain sites.

https://www.vice.com/read/cocaine-making-classes-in-colombia-303

http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/i-went-on-a-make-your-own-cocaine-tour-in-colombia

From what I understand, a small possession of cocaine for personal use in Colombia is legal. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My last trip I didn't have any problem finding coke to try, and was even given some as a gift by local Colombians when I expressed interest in trying their local product. I told them I bought some in Parque Lleras in Medellin and they laughed in my face telling me if was sub par to what they had. I am not talking about drug dealers, I am talking about what I seemed to be normal middle to upper class Colombian who spoke good English and ate or drank in the bars / restaurants around Parque Lleras. For them they said it was something they did on weekend as a pick me up or a little something extra to add to their party.

I am not a drug addict and I don't even do drugs when I am at home living a normal life or working a proper job, but when I travel I like to live life to the fullest and do what locals do.

Since I plan to make another trip to Colombia this summer, I am curious to go on one of these cocaine making tours, as an an experience and also try to try to product at it's more uncut form. So if anyone has info on how to join one of these tours, I very much appreciate it.

Please don't view this as a post to encourage anything illegal or expose an evil truth about Colombia.

Hola Dudes,

I'm a few days out from my first trip to Medellin, and had a question for the board. I'm currently booked at a Hotel in the heart of Poblado. Let's say I'm getting towards the end of my trip, and want to get out of the gringo area. What barrio would you recommend I checkout that still has a local area of cafes, restaurants, bars, and relatively safe, but less "Touristy" than Poblado?

Many Thanks,

Hey guys,

I'm going on my first trip to Medellin in a couple of weeks.

I've never been with a hooker or at a brothel, so I have a concern about STD's with working girls. I think it's fair to assume that after fucking thousands of guys, these girls have contracted just about every STD on the planet?! The question is, how do we protect ourselves? I've read at length about STD's in general and I've decided to do the following: condoms 100% (sex and oral), not kissing on mouth or DATY, not fingering her. Is there anything else a man can do to protect from STD's?

I'm sure there are a lot of mongers who do the "bare bone" thing, but I'd like to hear from the mongers with similar concerns to mine and if there are any protection tricks you do when visiting Casas?

Thank you very much in advance. I want to put this fear behind so I can focus on the pleasures while I'm with the girls.

Newguy3You are correct, working girls have every STD on the planet. This hobby may not be for you. It is better to live your life vicariously through others.

Yes, you should use a condom, but a condom may not protect you from HPV or crabs. I see on this site there is an advertisement for coastguard, That and a condom may give a little more protection, but nothing is 100 percent. Kissing and DATY you can contract herpes. Some guys use saran wrap, but I doubt it because those guys are hardcore into that. I personally don't kiss or DATY with girls, so I don't have a problem with that. It does nothing for me, so if I am paying, it doesn't make sense to me.

Yes it is a dangerous game and the more you do it, the higher your chance of contracting something. Yes you should use protection, unless you like to take risks and feel the numbers are on your side.

If anything using a condom is best used for making sure you don't have an unplanned pregnancy. Because not only will that mess up your life, but the life of others. Even a condom is not 100 percent, so maybe add some spermicide.

Most professional working girls will use a lactic feminine soap, but if you have any doubts bring your own. I always have it in shower and I show it to the girl and tell her to use it. Nothing ruins a session more than a stinky pussy!

Make a little "monger kit" of all your favorite brand, condoms, lube, soap, tooth paste and brush. Most everything you need can fit in cargo pant pockets but I have seen some guys wear a "fanny" pack fag bag.

You may want to look at it from this angle: Girls don't like STDs any more than you do, and they have to go on the assumption that the men who visit girls have every STD on the planet. That's why all the girls insist on condoms.

I have noticed that recently many girls in Colombia are more intense with hygiene, like spraying the guy's hands and pubic area with surgical alcohol before anything else happens. The most surreal thing I experienced was at one place the girl took a wet-wipe, made a hole in it, and stuck it over my dick so that the pubic areas wouldn't touch.

It's natural for NewGuy3 to be concerned about STDs, and likewise new girls are often more careful than old hands. There are clean girls and dirty girls, and there are clean guys and dirty guys, so be careful, but not paranoid.

I never ask for BBBJ but I've had a few girls do it without asking permission. From that, or from fingers, I once got a mycoplasma infection. Fortunately, most germs you are likely to catch can be diagnosed and then treated with antibiotics. I haven't tried, but I am sure Colombian doctors can do the diagnosis perfectly well, there are plenty of decent clinics, and fees are low (but you should consider travel medical insurance). Antibiotics are all available without prescription at any pharmacy, if you know what you need.

You give a lot of great advice. I always understand being careful. But I am not going to be paranoid.

For me BBBJ is mandatory. Will not even consider a Chica with out it. Only had a few that wouldn't do it so I didn't take them. Talking bar club girls beach girls that you can easily talk to before deciding to take them to apartment.

That's just me. Also I don't care about the best looking girls I would rather have a girl that likes to have a great time and generally wants to hang with me. She could be a 7 or a 10 but I have to feel some connection.

I don't just want the best looking one, I want a good party time. Which I find most of the time.

Thanks.Perhaps it is just my stubborn streak of middle class morality, but I do not want the responsibility for a child being brought up fatherless in some shit hole. Now I have been traveling and banging the locals for almost 30 years now. For all I know there is a blue eyes mini-me somewhere but I hope not. Like I said, other then my kids here in US I have one in DR. Hopefully I have one on way in Colombia. I will know very shortly. None of my kids have been accidents and I take care of them all.

But to each his own. I would never get cut.

Thanks.I have a six year old daughter in Colombia, I take care of her financially, I pay for her to go to private school and such. Keep in mind that your children are automatically USA Citizens and if they are minors still when you hit 62 years old and go on S. S. You can claim them as dependents, you will receive 62% more per month until they reach at least 18 years old. You can also claim them on your tax return as dependents. You must get them a S. S. Number for this of course. If you need any info let me know. By the time my daughter has reached 18 she will have made me over $125 K,nice.

I personally would prefer to only have children in other countries. But I do not consider them shitholes. I am very happy with most of the countries and people I have met abroad.

Like I said, other then my kids here in US I have one in DR. Hopefully I have one on way in Colombia. I will know very shortly. None of my kids have been accidents and I take care of them all.

But to each his own. I would never get cut.Mr Can,

I sense I have insulted you with my comment and that was not my intention. Yes foreign countries are not shit holes, but I was picturing in my mind the child being brought up by poor single mother who could not adequately provide for them, especially once their prime earning years were over. If one does the right thing and takes respectability for supporting their children and provides both financial and parental support, I have no issue with it. Since I do not intend to do that, getting cut was for me the ethical way to go.

In countries like Colombia, WGs are monitored by health agencies, test regularly for everything, and have to attend classes where they are instructed on how to prevent STIs. If you come here to Colombia, worry much more about some girl you meet in a bar than a WG.

In most of the world WGs have a lower STI prevalency rate than the general population, and Colombia is no exception.

Hi guys,

I'm planning to visit Colombia for 2 weeks in April. I've read up on the scene there somewhat and I found that using Tagged is a good thing.

The thing is, I'm not sure how to approach the girls on it. Should I be forward and offer money straight away or should I try and nurture the relation with them and ask for sex much much later on? I do speak Spanish so that's not a problem.

Also, I've read that there are a number of scammer on Tagged. Would the tactic of eliminating girls with a single photo on their profile be good enough?

If you do not know how to approach girls on a website, then the girls are going to eat you alive when you meet them in person. I would suggest you select another location other than South America. I know this is not what you want to hear, but I am speaking to you in reality.

Why not wait until you are there and go to a known hooker spot or search for one on the myriad of hooker websites that exist? That is akin to driving around residential neighborhoods searching for cars that are up for sale when you could just go to a used car lot or ebay or autotrader and find what you are looking for in 3 minutes.

Regarding having no game, I agree with you. If I had it, I wouldn't be asking for such advice.

Like everyone else here, I'd like to tap a Colombian chica for as little money as possible. I'm not poor or cheap, I just prefer to find a non-pro. However, I don't mind paying for a pro. The thing is, since my time is limited I'd like to set up as many (or any) girls as possible before actually landing. Since I'm new to mongering, I'd hate to offer money to a non-pro and offend her since I believe that the best GFE can be had from a non-pro.

Guys,

Be kind to our friend here. If he had perfect game he'd be fucking the models in his home town and not be on this forum.

Man, by all means come to beautiful Colombia and do your best here. See how far your Spanish gets you with all the non-pros while going to the pros to cure any blue balls. In my experience you're less likely to get eaten alive by female predators in Colombia than many other destinations. The politest prostitutes in the region.

Don't offer money to a non pro hoping it'll make her horny. Tell her what you want, like taking her to your hotel room, and leave it to her to say what she wants. If she's a prepago she'll tell you her fee. If she's looking for true love she'll likely need time to get comfortable with you which is difficult in one short trip.

No you didn't insult me, my skin is pretty thick as is my waistline. LOL. But not that I live in the countries I visit but I do visit frequently. I just never consider them shit holes. I have been in some rough places but most all the people I meet love there country and don't think of it as a shithole. Also I try to meet girls while not perfect are still very kool and especially Colombia dress to impress. I have met and stayed in touch with a few girls and enjoy there company.

I am totally looking forward to my trip next week. I love partying and meeting girls! But I also just enjoy getting away from all the work and bullshit I have to deal with in my normal daily life. My little 5-10 day excursions give me the break I need.

Happy hunting!

I can't wait!

But most of the non-pros that I have been with know that I come to their countries often. If they know it is your first time visiting or your visit is a one off thing then I do not know what type of results you can expect.

Would the tactic of eliminating girls with a single photo on their profile be good enough?I find Facebook to be better than Tagged, but they both worth the same way. And also free dating apps like Tinder as long as you are already in the area.

My technique is just start adding as many "Meet Me" and "Yes" swipes as possible. With Tag and Tinder it is all about the quantity to start. I have seen girls accounts and they get hundreds of requests a day. So it is easy for them to choose. The initial entry into a girls online account is the hardest, so you really need to start with some good pictures and a good bio write up.

Once you made a connection, then of course you add them as friends, but be careful with Facebook because they will flag your account. Tagged and Tinder don't seem to limit the amount of people you add as friends or messages sent.

Once they added you as a friend, you can start adding their friends who you think are hot. So in reality you don't have to set your target on the initial girl. Once a girl can see who you are friends with and share an mutual friend, they will be more likely to add you as a friend. Then you can start sending them a copy and paste message that you will be visiting on such and such dates. Again Facebook doesn't like spam and will flag your account if you go too crazy with the copy and paste messages. Facebook is more about patience. Tagged and Tinder is a free for all, but I personally get less results than I do with Facebook.

Most of time you can pick out the pros from the pictures. You will see them in fancy hotels and resorts that the normal girl will never be able to afford. Sometimes they mix in their normal every day house and family where you can see they come from poor area, but a lot of girls have multiple accounts.

The normal girls who are non pros won't have pictures by themselves in a fancy hotel. If they do have their own money and are in nice hotels, most likely their friends an family will also be in the pictures. You can try wasting time with those girls, but it will still cost you money and time. If you are a short vacation it may not be worth the effort, but if you are willing to put in the time, it may work out nice in the end. If they find out you are with prostitutes, most likely they won't want to mess with you and look as you as a playboy.

In the end it will always come down to how much time and money you want to spend. I consider my homework part of the trip. So I don't mind spending the time adding girls to my social network.

Offering money to a girl who is a non working girl is also a way for him to get his ass kicked, as you know Mr. Enternational with your vast experience how Latinas can be if they are insulted, and that is exactly what he is doing if he should offer money to a girl who is not in the pay for play scene.

Has anyone seen this article by the Washington Post? Do you know of anyone that has gotten infected while in Colombia?

=============

Zika has been linked to birth defects. Now it may be causing paralysis.

TURBO, Colombia The Zika epidemic flaring across the Americas has produced several hot spots with large numbers of cases. But there is no place quite like Turbo.

The mosquito-borne virus has spread rapidly here and across lowland Colombia, but the city is unusual for the subsequent outbreak of a rare, debilitating disorder known as Guillain-Barre syndrome, whose precise link to the virus remains unclear. Before Zika's arrival in Turbo, a mostly Afro-Colombian town of 60,000 set amid vast banana plantations on the country's north coast, doctors typically saw one case of Guillain-Barre a year, if that.

In the past six weeks, there have been five, all of them severe. Three patients have died. One is fighting for his life in an intensive care unit. The fifth, a 10-year-old girl, hasn't been able to move her legs in a week.

So was planning a trip to Colombia near the end of March since flights are cheap. Just found out that it's Holy Week during this time and stuff might be closed and people off with their families. Was wondering if it's worth taking a trip during this time or should I just find another place to visit?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

FWIW, I have spent Holy Week in Medellin and it wasn't that bad outside of Thursday and (Good) Friday. I would say that through Wednesday the activity was about 80% of normal. Thursday and Friday things shut down and the only action was if you made plans with a girl you already knew. Then Saturday, things picked up again.

There are several recent posts in the Medellin reports section addressing this issue.

IMO if it's the only time you can go, I wouldn't be dissuaded.

Thanks for the information. I did see the posting over in the Medellin reports but nothing super clear like what you just stated. I was actually looking to fly in Thursday and stay till Monday or Tuesday. From what you're saying, if I do get in Thursday night then Friday is tourist sight seeing day? Also if you had to pick between Medellin or Cartagena during this same time period which would you choose and why? I was thinking about Colombia because flying there is so cheap around that time but I could also do Budapest or somewhere similar in Europe.

However if you are arriving on Thursday, yes, you should just resign yourself to touristy things for Thursday and Friday. Saturday after Good Friday, things will pick up and by Monday, things will be back to normal. Would be nice if you get get there a few days earlier so you could set up something for Thursday and Friday.

Anyone have experience with the less then 6 month validity rule in Colombia? You may not have to worry about Colombia. The airline may not even let you on the plane. They get big fines for letting people through who don't meet the requirements. Two times ago they would not let a guy on because his passport was considered damaged.

I'm planning another Bogota trip for early April, problem is my passport expires on June 29,2016, a little more then 3 months after my arrival. Anyone have experience with the less then 6 month validity rule in Colombia?Last July I asked the Immigration Agent in BOG as I was leaving how Colombia treated expiring Passports. He advised me that the Passport needed to be valid on the Day that you departed Colombia.

I entered on 12/26/15 and departed on 1/4/16 with a Passport that expired on 2/22/16 with no issues. Well, I did have one issue on entering.

When I arrived in CTG, the Immigration Agent had a Supervisor Title on his station and he asked me very sternly after trying to find a page to stamp. "Why do you come to Colombia so often?

I responded, "Tengo Novia". His stone face cracked a slight smile and he stamped my entry and I was off.

Many girls on Cupid or even Latineuro starts the "conversation" on whatsapp, " have no food", " I can't pay my rent, I will be on the street tomorrow".

A former star, rapidly falling in popularity, Lilibeth Winounawal, just few years ago, have no new tweets or followers, and back in 2011 she was host for an major international modelevent in Bogota.

She is awesome, but so are 100-1000 models.

2012 I met a model that had been on Peruvian TV.

After their contracts ends they have nothing more than bills.

That instagram-thread on the Medellin board could be interesting, since it can lead us to those girls that have 10-faces, as a guy remarket, she has to have a 10 face, no matter ig she has a 11 or even 12 body was his points.

Juliana Elejalde fucks her way through EAFIT, or doesn't study there at all. She has an IQ and worldview of a child, just like Lilibeth.

As Legal tender once got a recomendation of a real hottie dentalstudent. From her teachers!

Then, as for all us living in Artifcial Paradises, reality knocks on the door!

Lilibeth and Juliana are now 28/29/30 and still have not left the Estrato1-3, after having being a well payed pet for he Estrato 5-6 for several years.

Ao there the gringo option comes as a savior; it is a stigmatic thing to do, but left with no other options and running out on dope, headache and anxiety, panic comes.

Her normal schoolmates, some of them also having payed their tuition via some prepago work, but never leaving reality and focusing on their formal career.

They, the former nobodies, now she has to meet them, as an addict, going in therapy and gaining in weight since the fell-good and appetite-lowering drugs has run out.

I have been overly active on Cupid and Latineuro mostly, both sites are mainly, but far from total, connection zones for prostitutes meeting clients. Medium or ugly girls simply doesn't get attention at all, while men get beautiful girls, since they have so much more money.

Facing this, that their short but intense career are over, gringos, seen as Living Fat Wallets, but nobody you take home to introduce to your family, except that (she) he has promised them an exotic vacation.

Here the two extremes meets.

Normally we are not interesting for Colombian Girls. They want to advance. They have no contact with the Global Society.

Catching a Gringo Man is seen as cheating, it's not real. The family don't accept it. The sign the papers, but they hope he sends a lots of money and a have big life-insurance and she hopes her wild sexual energy + an overdose of Viagra, legally, kills him, and makes her a "millionaire", by Colombian standards.

People think that "Modelo de Protocolo" and "Mejor Cola de la Valle", Chica's Car Audio" pays accordingly to the attention. But it does not.

The models, they are also in the Pimp-girls book. They earn extra for being models, but the modeling itself is just a way to find the right path, which seldom happens.

Lilibeth, being "jubilada" in her profession, focus to publish fotos from Miss Colombia; and things like Las Las Vegas & Disney Land. , and 90% on herself in a few themes; her lips, her 3/4 naked body, dressed for success.

At the same time we have Universities with tuitions of 6-7 M COP per semester for Communication Social. The public-private Universities, which everyone can afford, one the other hand doesn't give you a job. The Estrato +4-6 have strong rules for which they let in their sphere.

Maybe Juliana, just like that dentist student, and less likely, Lilibeth, can get their diploma from the prestige Universities, without actually knowing shit, but that is also a talent, hiding that your are incompetent.

Any veteran Monger, like Frank Casio, KickBoxer, that have stories to tell; What happened with those Guapas that we admired so much 5-10-15 years ago?

I now have changed from typical Mongering, Paruq Lleras, La 70 life; and are planning to live in Medellin my 180 days a year, maybe get married, even it it means what it means, I can stay as I want to even become a Colombian citizen, after 3 years I think, probably more. You have to be married and having lived in Colombia in 3 years, but permanent Visa might exist, or just be flexible; €100 to live like a King in Venezuela doesn't seems to bad, but requieres planning, it's risky. Juliana Elejalde fucks her way through EAFIT, or doesn't study there at all. She has an IQ and worldview of a child, just like Lilibeth...The whole model thing is like an pro athlete. Because you are young you will make a lot of money fast and for a short period of time but after that you value will decrease rapidly, and you will have no choice but to go try somewhere else. I have seen baseball / soccer athletes on the same pad. Start young going to big leagues and making a lot of money but after some shit went wrong / injury no team wants you anymore, you only choice is to go try in another country change environment.

The same with those chicas a guy told me once most of these models value decrease after 25/27 because there is always going to be fresh 18/19/20 yo old that a lot of guys like. But for me it doesn't matter I still like them chicas till at 35.

Sorry to bother you with questions, but I haven't found an answer (maybe I've just search badly). I've started to learn Spanish, so I decided to go to the Latin America. Colombia or Ecuador. Enjoy the nature, some diving, some mongering, improving my Spanish. I'm used to from Thailand and Philippines to take girl for a LT. I don't want to use internet services like DIA, because of too much emotional investment.

OK, to the question. Is common to take a girl in Colombia or Ecuador for LT? Is any chance to do so in smaller cities? I guess, it wouldn't be smart to do so with girls from the street. Can you advise me, how to enjoy the nights there and don't make something stupid? Whom I could, more or less, believe (hell, in Asia it was easy. I could believe anybody from a club or official bar)?

I'm not from US, so, I wouldn't like to pay US prices. I'm not talking about big cities, because I want to see the country. And I'm not brother of Brad Pitt.

Thanks

It's totally possible. Bottom line you meet girls and if you hit it off it's very possible that they would like to stay LT. Especially if your staying in nice places. Lasrpt time I was in Cartagena I had to tell two girls they couldn't stay and it had nothing to do with money. I wouldn't try to suggest just setting something before hand. Girls are very friendly in Colombia. Meet girls and see were it goes. Dress nice if even casually.

There are many areas in Colombia that are not safe for tourists. Get in the wrong area and your LT might turn into a much longer time, until someone pays the ransom. And that's not the worst possible outcome.

There are plenty of good options, just do your research.

Thanks a lot. In Vietnam, Na Thrang, I wanted to get a T-shirt "I'm not from Russia". In Colombia, I will probably get a T-shirt "I'm not from US".

One important question. Whom I can, more or less, trust? I will be in somehow touristic areas, but can I leave a girl from bar or club overnight without fear, because they are checked by mamsan like in Asia? With freelancers its clear, but dunno about professionals.

Trust? You have to meet girls and get a feel for how things are going. I been going to Colombia a long time and often leave girls in my room sleeping. I get up early (: but I have known them for awhile. It's tuff to just ask who can you trust? I guess no one until you get to know them.

No name on your t-shirts or caps.

If someone ask where your are from say California, don't say USA. That is what I do.

What city do you want to know about.

There are not many Gringos bars in South America.

It is a lot different from Costa Rica or the the. Are.

There are Lists in their threads for most cities, with some other information about tourists areas.

What are the safe areas? How would a newbie going to a strange country know?

Do you know where a list is of the Gringo bars also and how to get to them safely?

If someone ask where your are from say California, don't say USA. That is what I do.That is funny advice. I was in Nha Trang 3 years ago. As a Black guy from Georgia I do not think it mattered what I wore; I was NOT going to blend in. As a matter of fact, the only other Black guy I saw during my 10 day and 4 city tour of Vietnam was a guy in Hanoi who was from Washington, DC. I know this is an extreme example, but no matter how much you think you are blending in, they know their own people.

Think of it in reverse. If they came to your city (other than New York and Miami) would they blend in? I am in Dominican Republic now, and with all of the Black people that live here, if they came to Atlanta they would not blend in. There is nothing about them that says Black American, especially Black American from Atlanta.

By the way, I tell people I am from Thailand. I live there and have a driver's license from there. Nobody questions it because they really don't give a fuck. You could say you are from Mars and get the same response. It is one of those questions the same as how are you doing; just a form of being polite or breaking the ice.

You are right. It did not matter what I wore in China, Thailand, Korea or Japan, I did not fit in.

But, Central, South American and the Caribbean it is possible to not stand out in a lot of areas.

I disagree about Atlanta. The people from D. R. could fit in, so long as they dress the same. But of course the language would give them away.
Same as it would give me away.

What are the safe areas? How would a newbie going to a strange country know?

Do you know where a list is of the Gringo bars also and how to get to them safely? How does a newbie find the safe areas in any country? Do some research. The US State Department website has lots of good information on most countries. They include things such as suggested or required vaccinations, current scams or criminal trends and areas of the country to avoid. That's a starting point.

From there, there are many travel blogs which report on current events in different cities and of course there is ISG. There's more information than you will have time to read.

Another source is review websites such as TripAdvisor. With everything, evaluate what you read. One hotel I recently read reviews on had several recent bad reviews. The hotel is used by some sex vacation companies, where an escort will meet and stay with a tourist for several days (for a hefty fee). All the bad reviews came from members of a Christian missionary group who thought a beach hotel in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic would be a pure, wholesome place to pray. Oops.

If you're sociable, get on some different international matchmaking websites. You can find women who you might not have any interest in, but who are nice to talk to. Some are happy just to have a person to help improve their English. They can be very helpful by informing you of things which never make the news. Often they are a great source of information, not only about safety, but about things you never thought about, but could cause you problems.

As a general rule, stick to the beaten path. If you can book a flight to a city from your local airport, with 2 or less transfers, it's probably safe to visit. That doesn't mean the whole city is like a trip to Disneyworld, there are always areas best avoided.

rotflmfao. Why do you find that funny?

Notice, I didn't say the state department is a good place for mongering information. You won't find current prepago rates posted there (but I'm sure someone knows them). You won't find where the hottest girls are, or even where to buy condoms.

However, you will find warnings about the current political situation, specific dangers to US citizens, disease risks and crime trends as they relate to tourism. For a first time visitor, or an infrequent visitor, this is good information to have.

They tend towards the conservative side on some things, especially those things which may be illegal, but that's to be expected. For any new international traveler, that should be the first stop, especially since you can find passport, visa, entry requirements and length of stay rules there.

But, Central, South American and the Caribbean it is possible to not stand out in a lot of areas. It's Asia in general. Anyone from the west with our pale or "chocolate man" skin height and big noses stand out there immediately. As soon as they see us we might as well be in wheelchair with our hair dyed green.

Even their peripheral vision will spot us as an oddity.

We can't even pretend we are from the "far east" just roll with it.

With Latin America its a mixed bag. If someone with an eye for detail is studying you and paying close attention they will know. Despite what you wear or how you behave. They will see through it.

Others who are busy or just not thinking that much about you may ignore you and you fly under the radar.

Like Mr. Enternational said just use the taxis. They are pretty standard and safe. If you get a chance download an app called "easy taxi" its pretty popular there. It lets you ring up a taxi like uber.

Arriving in MDE for the first time this week, actually first time in Colombia, I made a first-time ATM withdrawal at the airport. No problem, once you understand you have to MOVE FAST or the machine will cancel the transaction if you dally. I tried a few other ATMs with no problems this week, including a Banco Bogota, next to Relax on Carrera 74. However, on Thursday night I needed cash, and I found two ATMs from two different Colombian banks on Carrera 70 rejected my card. I was getting a little worried and then tried the ATM at a nearby BBVA branch, and I withdrew money with no other problems. The next morning I decided to have a last session at Relax, and I tried to get cash out of the ATM, I had previously used. No dice. The ATM rejected the transaction, though it had given me money three nights earlier. I walked down the block to the BBVA branch and got money from their ATM with no hassle.

What made BBVA different from the Colombian banks? I am assuming that being a gigantic, global, "First World" bank might have been a factor. But, the lesson is that if one bank rejects your card, that doesn't mean all of them will. And if a bank's ATM does accept your ATM once, there is not guarantee it will accept it again, despite having adequate funds. So, if you are experiencing trouble using your Yanqui credit union debit card that still doesn't have a chip in it, you are not alone. You just need to find a better bank.

As a rule, expect all Colombia-based banks' ATM's to require a chip card. You may find one that doesn't; but as Eszpresszo reported, it may work one day but not the next. Most of the ATM's have a message on the screen telling you a chip card is required, but the message is only in Spanish. I think Citibank ATM's will accept non-chip cards, but you have to pay the ridiculous ATM fees if you are not a Citibank customer. Also, Eszpresszo reported that BBVA ATM's accept non-chip cards.

Contrary to Eszpresszo's thinking about third-world banking, it is the US banking system that is technologically "third-world". Most of the civilized countries are now requiring all cards, debit and credit, to have a chip. The magnetic stripe is out-dated technology.

All my other cards, from US based banks (both credit cards and a Wells Fargo debit card I have from another checking account) have chips. However, the Wells debit card didn't work in the Colombian banks either, despite it being brand new and having a chip. But the WF card is only my backup card, while I have my reasons for preferring to use my credit union's debit card, with its magnetic stripe and all (and it never works that well at home, either). I recall seeing the locals having trouble with their cards, as well.

Unemployment raises:

More persons reaching 16/18 years than the market can give jobs.

Totally, the number of jobs increase, but since they are so many entering the labor market, unemployment raises simultaneously.

944 k more persons have jobs, but 216 k more have become unemployed.

On the Medellin thread I claimed that unemployment had rose 3% in one month (compared with the same months the year before).

However it's complicated.

DANE can explain it correct: http://www.dane.gov.co/index.php/mercado-laboral/empleo-y-desempleo.

It is not the same as HSBC Colombia or Peru. Although it is the same name I think banking rules are different in different countries so they do not operate the same. Your pay grade is a bit different from mine. I only carried a few hundred USD in case none of my cards worked (there was no way I was going to let any of the stateside "currency exchanges" rip me off for any amount of COP.).

So, if you don't mind me asking, what steps do you take to prevent theft? On my first (and only) visit I distributed my currency in three places: In an ordinary-looking leather belt with a secret stash pouch on the inside, some in my regular wallet, and the rest in a soft, neck wallet that I always tote abroad anyways, to keep my passport in. Luckily there were only brief minor detours in getting cash from ATMs, but I did bring enough to cover the minimum expenses for my stay. Without a safe in the hotel room, which is not a sure bet for security, I'd be nervous about carrying a few grand around. Advice for reducing risks or minimizing losses? I find myself thinking of Rob Schneider's stoner character on SNL, who was always contriving a "place to hide your weed".

I go with Citibank most of the time and don't have any problems. Malls are usually a good spot for multiple ATMs.

I try not to carry large amounts of cash on me. If my hotel doesn't have a safe deposit box then I lock up my suitcase and put valuables in there. A friend of mine locks his suitcase then locks it to something solid in the room.

I always bring cash as back up. Love Mac machines for rate and never had problem. One time I dropped ATM card at store but luckily retraced my steps and got it back the next day. But I always bring a few thousand US case I get into a jam.I do the same exact thing, a couple grand in cash in case ATM issues and two ATM cards and always always enough cash for a quick exit to the airport in case shit goes down. Pacsafe keeps all my valuables secure.

I have been to Medellin many times in the last three years and never had a problem at the airport until my last trip.

Where I was asked a bunch of questions about why are you here so many times and contact info, is this to stop us.

From our hobby?

From our hobby?Just be honest! Tell them Colombia has the most beautiful women and you are in love with their beautiful country! I got questioned by a Dominican customs woman about why I had so much baby oil and women's clothes. I told her the clothes were to get them to my room and the baby oil was for the sex after I got them there. She chuckled, waved me through, and said "thanks for being honest!

This is always one of the biggest questions when traveling. This ring especially true if you may bring a stranger (girl) back to your room.

How does one stash cash and passport?

If the hotel has a safe in the room or behind the counter I will only put a tiny fraction of my money in it. Just enough that may satisfy a thief to stop searching.

My wingman and I typically find hiding places in each others room then test each others hiding spots. I'll go to his room and he will ask me to find where he hid his money and vice versa. Same thing for passports.

Much of this of course depends on the place you're staying and your feeling about it. I will almost never walk the streets with my passport. Only a copy and maybe my DL.

That said I have begun to use more ATMs. I will find a few trusted ones early in the trip and hit them up. I have a capital one 360 account. They charge no transaction fees and it only has money on it for travel. This was if it gets stolen my regular account is relatively safe.

With using the ATM I obly carry a few hundred USD in case of emergency. Much easier to hide a card and a few hundred than a few thousand.

Wow. Well I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who was paranoid about ATMs not working and carried cash instead. Your paygrade is a bit different from mine.

I find this true to returning to US also. I have only been put thru extra customs check a couple of times and was just honest saying I go there to party and have a good time with the beautiful women, which is true and they appreciated the honesty instead of some bullshit.

I do similar to other replies. In Cartagena I feel less worried then in Medellin where I take more precautions because I often stay in places with no doorman / front desk guy. So there's a lot more chance of a problem.

Greetings,

Some friends and I will be in Medellin at the end of June and I have a few questions I couldn't find after reviewing reports:

Is there a "ground zero" neighborhood in Medellin that's central to all the mongering action? I know in Panama it's the Veneto, but how about here?

Generally speaking, does Hotel Security add a chica fee to your hotel bill? If so, what's the typical damage?

Do pharmacies provide items without prescriptions? I'm mostly talking Viagras or equal BTW.

Are tourists usually hounded with handouts, tourist trap scams, etc? In other words, will we be bombarded as we enter and exit hotels, bars, restaurants, etc? Just want an idea what to expect.

Is there any particular neighborhood or establishment that we should avoid at all costs? Usually every country has a least one or more spots that stand out amongst the rest as "stay out".

Lastly, how's the water and food quality generally speaking? I haven't read anything bad about either, but thought I'd ask people who visit often or live there.

Thank you all!

Last time or second to last time I visited Bogota (circa 2009), a Hooters' had opened in Zona Rosa. Is it still there? If so, any success landing any Hooters girls? I had a great time with a non-pro Hooters girl. I think she ended up leaving Colombia temporarily to help train at a new Hooters in Argentina.

Any assistance is appreciated!
