Terminal C (where almost all international flights arrive) at the Orlando airport is the poorest design of almost any airport I've traveled through. It's approximately a one half mile walk from an arriving gate to baggage claim, almost all an uphill grade. There are no elevators or moving walkways. It was about 45 minutes from the time the plane was parked at the gate until bags started arriving at baggage claim. The irony is, that is a new terminal. It's only been open for about a year.The mayor there, "Flubby Tire" Dyer is on the airport committee and responsible for this terminal / concourse see. They want to see if you can walk the long distance without collapsing from drugs, prescription overdose, etc. Sometimes they have dogs along the way to sniff your baggage or your undies and smell if you have been a bad boy while out of the country. I had a fantastic experience in both Sao Paolo and Rio in 2024. However, I have always wanted to experience Colombia, but am afraid after reading up on the dangers. I have a stop in Bueno Saires and Bogota, but 14 days of free time in between. Would you who know Latin America advise me to immediately repeat Brazil or explore new areas in Colombia? I can't figure out where in Colombia it is best. I don't like to be afraid, but I'm not a complete wimp and I'm used to traveling. Since I have to go to Bogota for a few days and could stay there longer if I feel like it, would you drop Medellin, Cali, Cartagena? I'm looking for young spinners and don't spend money on older ladies I could get "for free" in Europe. I hope you with experience will give me some good advice. I know tastes are different, but I'm trying to make a plan. I haven't been to Bueno Saires in 10 years and I see from the reports that there have been big changes. In Brazil I always found something I liked every night. And unfortunately I am picky so the hunt is a challenge in places in the world where the really hot ladies are far apart. If you are asked for payment before, you kindly ask them to leave. Its up to you if you want to give them taxi money or walk them outside and pay the taxi directly. But to avoid an argument or a problem it is best to just pay the taxi.
I'm going to be visiting Colombia for the first time in a few weeks. I don't speak any Spanish.
I've travelled a lot (80+ countries) and have done plenty of mongering in Europe and Asia (and a couple of experiences in Paraguay) but I've never been to Colombia before.
Now, ordinarily, I'd look through these forums for info and advice but the Colombia boards seem to be full of a lot of general chit-chat and despite going back a bunch of pages on a few of the boards, I didn't really learn much.
I think I'm correct in believing Medellin is Colombia's best destination for the hobby. Is there a best area to stay in (from a general tourist perspective, not necessarily for girls.).

Is that assumption incorrect?I mostly stay downtown. Two times I have not stayed downtown, I have stayed in Laureles. There really isn't an expat area. Expats stay all over. The tourist area is Poblado. The only thing different about there is that there are tourist prices for accommodations and food. As far as anything being convenient from a tourist perspective, I would say they are all the same. The difference I would say is that if you are up in the hood somewhere it takes longer to get the rideshare to come amd of course there are less restaurants and stuff. But Laureles is just as good for tourists as Poblado.

Last time I went, there was only one person working Immigration at MDE.How long ago was that? I wasn't sure if there was a diff in Petro's personal or Diplomatic visa now tht you mentioned it, and it's actually all his access that's revoked incl Diplomatic after I searched. Then the Col foreign minister also voluntarily renounced her visa, and Petro rebutted that he doesn't care and has Intl access to any UN base and that's that. You talk of trade, and you already know higher tariffs are next. Just like China and that's already in the works, per the devil's mouth himself. Just like during covid when folks were scared to go outside. Meanwhile I was in Santa Fe and downtown Medellin without a poke. My advice as always is to turn off the TV and internet and go see what folks are doing outside in the real world. I am in Bogota on my way to Cartagena and everything is the same as it always has been. Most people here would have no idea of what you are even talking about.
