After visiting Bogota for my cherry trip in July 2023, I'm planning my route back from the other side of the planet (Australia).

One thing I did in Santa Fe last time was focus on the clubs. Woodman09 was a great help! This time I want to focus more on the street girls.

Bogota's elevation is 8,612 feet. Definitely not double; just a little over one and a half times.

Do yourself a favor and never visit Cripple Creek, Colorado at 9,494 feet or Cusco, Peru at 11,152 feet. As soon as the plane landed in Cusco and depressurized I could not breathe. I had a headache for 3 days in Lake Titicaca, Peru at 12,507 feet.

I used to get short of breath arriving in Bogota and walking to immigration in the old airport. After all these years I have become accustomed to it and it no longer affects me.

What time is too late for walking back Plenty of taxis all outside the entrance to Fiebre, Antones, the drive / restaurant Troya entrance, etc. And safe. If you felt really uncomfortable you could probably ask your mesero and tip him for getting you a driver but honestly never done that as you Just walk up to a yellow taxi even if there's not a driver in one of the ones parked, someone will notice you and call the next driver wherever he is to take you. It's their source of income so they're all usually on top of looking for their next job. For Ibis it usually cost me 15 k but one time around 2-3 am one guy wanted 20 k. One tip: Spanish isn't my first language and I always use to pronounce Hotel Ibis the gringo / spanglish way of pronouncing it (Otel Eyebus) and the drivers often didn't know where I meant so it was helpful to know the directions sometimes to get back from the clubs and I'the just point where he had to turn. Quickly figured out though that the confusion was my fault and I wasn't pronouncing it how it should be in Spanish (Otel abyss. Sort of) LOL. After remembering to pronounce it the proper way never had any confusion LOL. Others have had luck with Uber but I could never get Ubers to pick me up from the clubs and in addition sometimes in the clubs my reception was crap to even use the Uber app on my T-Mobile non upgraded plan.

Walking would be fine up until about 11 pm I suppose but around then the streets become less populated and while I've never had problems you're going to inevitably pass some people on the way back to Ibis that are drunk, high or just not in the best social economic status or homeless that depending on how you look and handle yourself could make you a target. I should stress though that I have never had an issue. For others just the thought of walking around SF puts them on high alert so to then add walking back to ibis would probably not be that fun for them so to each their own and for 15-20 k for a taxi ride I would just opt for the taxi after midnight plus it's quick and easy.

Others have had luck with Uber but I could never get Ubers to pick me up from the clubsVery difficult to get UberX (lowest level) to pick you up from Santa Fe. Easy to get Uber Comfort or UberXL (higher levels, hence higher cost) to pick you up. The first or second driver usually accepts.

InDrive is also good (this is where you bid on the service). I prefer InDrive because the system almost guarantees the driver will arrive within 5 minutes. Uber arrival times varies. I prefer ride-share because you don't have to pronounce your address.

Also, if the ride-share vehicle is a normal car, they cannot pick you up in front of the clubs on the main street. I usually use the back entrance of Troya. It's safe to wait there; you have the protection of Troya security. That's why I like to leave before 3 am (I think that's when it closes). InDrive can be either a normal car or an official taxi. Not sure if the official taxi (from InDrive) can pick you up in front of the clubs; but I don't believe you can tell from the App which car type it is. InDrive is cash only.

Why such a large cut? Simply put; ghosting and dishonesty. The 4 remaining gals were the only ones that responded to me again, after our initial communication, a few days before my arrival. The other 3 were cut due to dishonesty in the age and / or looks department which was made very apparent during our video calls (it's hard to edit, filter, crop, photoshop yourself during a live video obviously). All of this with the understanding of sex being included.

What I could have done better: I could have been more patient and maybe found some better options if I had spent more time on the site. But with my work-life that way it is, that just wasn't an interest of mine. Plus, going back and forth with 20 gals seemed plenty. I'm also willing to admit that I might be too selective in my tastes (will elaborate on this in another section). What I could have done better:

2. I could have done more research and found an lux apartment / condo to stay in on Airbnb. According to the forums there are plenty of options. Escort Agencies:

Beside the 1 SA gal that I made a arrangement with, there were two agencies I saw mentioned several times in the Bogota forums that I used for all my other sessions. Those agencies were LaCelestina and EncountersVIP. Search them on Google and you'll find their sites. Both sites have options to select English as the primary language to make it easier to navigate. Both agencies also offer different higher-tier (Platinum or VIP) gals for higher prices. Both responds to WhatsApp and Telegram messages and provide info on the women there.

1. LaCelestina: Overall an "OK" agency based on my experience. I sessioned with 3 gals from the agency (2 standard and 1 "Platinum" I had 1 great experience with a standard gal, and the other 2 were mediocre / time wasted experiences. Keep in mind that what you see on the site in terms of girls available is not accurate. You need to reach out via WhatsApp or Telegram to confirm who is available that day and from what "tier". This goes for EncountersVIP as well. They'll send you a complete list of names (typically around 20), which you then can search (using the search bar on their site) to pull up the profile of each girl. My routine when using LaCelestina was to get the availability for the morning / evening, and then pull up all the girls names in separate tab searches and go through the list of who I liked. Then I would follow up with the agency with who I wanted, for how long, and at what time. Important note. They will send you additional photos of the girls (with their faces visible) if you are interested (LaCelestina) or have Diamond club access (Encounters VIP club). Faces on all these sites are blurred out as per standard but don't let that stop you from asking. You'll avoid the issues I ran into.

Session #1 - We'll call her Genna (privacy). Genna (22 yrs old on site, and truthfully 22 years old) was my 2nd girl in Bogota after my first 1.5 days with the SA girl I met up with. Genna had only been with the agency for a few months following some family financial troubles that required to her to make money faster than her previous job at a call center. Agencies can definitely be a mixed bag. In the past year, I have used Encounters 4 times. I had 2 great experiences (Lia + Juliana), 1 okay (Nathalia), and 1 poor (Emma). See my post history for more details. Agencies like Encounters and La Celestina doll up their girls and it would be naive to think the listed ages are realistic. I lucked out and signed up for the diamond membership before I selected my first girl. If you plan on returning to Colombia in the future, the membership is good for 3 months, just ask them for a new password as they change it monthly.

Given your preferences and unlimited resources, I think you would have done better with Seeking had you been more patient with it. No idea how to join, but I imagine it's just a fee you pay online. I got it for free after a disappointing experience with one of the the gals. No one is forced to get a bottle, even when sitting at the stage. Just look at the locals; not all have bottles. When the locals order beer, I've never seen them tip. I've never tried not ordering a beer. I always get a drink at any bar I stay at. I've peeped/looked around for a minute, and not ordered anything; there's no problem with that.

All the MFer waiters at the strip joints will rip you (all Gringos) off. They will add a 50% -100% tip to the bill (for a beer). They are extremely happy if you give a 2 K tip for a beer. Even with the 100% mark-up, the beers are cheap compared to US standards, but I can't stand to be ripped off. If you care about the principle, you can order / ask at the bar. Most / all bartenders will not rip you off.

One positive. Tequendama Suites is nice. Under $100/ night for the master suite is a good deal. The room is huge. Good security. Location is good for Santa Fe. And some food options around. Pretty busy area.

As opposed to other bars, Troya and Fiebre were not high pressure places. The meseros aren't hounding you. Neither are the girls. But I just couldn't find anything interesting. Welcome to Bogota!

Welcome to the land of putas, arepas, and thin air! The nicer parts of the city, like La Candelaria and Zona Rosa were quite clean. But, I found some other areas were a bit trashy and riddled with graffiti. Having said that, I felt safe wherever I went. Because of the altitude, it was pleasant during the day, but it got chilly in the evenings. Because I am old and already walk slow, I did not have any issues with the altitude.

According to Wikipedia, "The city is located in the center of Colombia, on a high plateau known as the Bogota savanna, part of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes. Bogota is the third-highest capital in South America after Quito and La Paz at an average of 2,640 meters (8,660 ft) above sea level. Subdivided into 20 localities, Bogota has an area of 1,587 square kilometers (613 square miles) and a cool climate that is constant through the year. "

Why Bogota?

I have been to 5 other cities in Colombia, but for whatsoever reason, I have not spent any time in Bogota. Thus, off I went!

Travel Insurance:

The SquareMouth web-site gave me over 50 quotes from over 50 different companies. I chose Trawick from National Mutual. It was for 5-days and cost $127.

Money:

All the money I quote is in COP, Colombian pesos. According to Oanda, the current rate is 4,013 COP to one US dollar. I just divided the currency by 4 and it worked out for me. For example, 100,000 COP was around 25 bucks. I arrived very late in Bogota and I decided to cash in some dollars at the airport at the exchange place next to baggage claim three; rate was 3900. I used ATMs thereafter as needed. Tip from Woodman: You can pull 2,000,000 from the ATMs at Davivienda banks; around 500 US.

Flight:

I flew Aeromexico from Tijuana round-trip to Bogota. Each way, there was a layover in Mexico City. Total flight time was around 7 hours each way. Returning, there was a Sala VIP El Dorado Lounge, which was outstanding.

Immigration / Customs:

Because of my last trip to Colombia, I knew there was a Migration Form I needed to fill out called CheckMig. This is the website: migracioncolombia. Gov. Co. There you need to fill out the immigration registration form 72 hours before your trip OR up to one hour before.

It took me around 10 minutes to fill out the form and submit it. Once I did, within a few minutes, I received the document in my e-mail box. I had the completed form on my phone and I also printed the form out.

When I was going through immigration in Bogota, I was asked to show the completed form to the agent. I gave him the printed form and it was never returned to me. He stamped my passport and I was done.

Customs only existed to ask me if I had any bad thingys in my carry-on. No x-ray machine was required; quick process!

When I was returning, I completed the form online. But, the only immigration process there was when I had to place my passport on some machine and the little doors opened to let me move on to security. The CheckMig form was not asked for and nobody stamped my passport.

Hotel:

I stayed at the Tequendama Suites in Centro internacional.

PROS:

- Walking distance to the Zona de Tolerancia.

- Safe location.

- Solid WiFi.

- Large rooms.

- Great staff and service.

- Free breakfast buffet from 6 to 10.

- Chica friendly – They needed to register at the front desk. I brought in a bargirl, street girl, and an escort.

CONS:

- Rooms had NO heating.

- No free bottled water.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

Communication:

I have the T-Mobile Go5 GPlus55 plan; no worries whatsoever.

Transportation:

When I arrived at the airport, I did not see a taxi booth, so I just headed outside. All the taxis quoted the same price; 60. Because it was late, the streets were empty. It should have taken 15-20 minutes to reach my hotel. But, my airport taxi could not find the hotel! Hell, I am sure he could not find water if his dumb ass fell out of a fucking boat! I really need to learn this phrase in Spanish, "You only have one job!

Other forms of transportation:

Uber – Reliable during the day and early evening; iffy late night.

DiDi – Decent luck in the afternoon and evening.

InDrive – Was never able to get the app up and running.

Taxis – The majority of the drivers were clueless. Most of the drivers were older and had no concept regarding google maps.

Returning to the airport, my hotel called one of their van drivers and the cost was 40.

Spanish:

During my stay, I did not hear any English, which included my hotel, restaurants, drivers, and putas.

Restaurants:

I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the food scene:

Santa Fe. Outstanding.

Cantina 15 – Outstanding.

La Scala – Excellent.

Andres DC – Very good.

El Son de LOS Grillos. Outstanding.

Overall, the food was pretty damn good. There was an abundant amount of street food venders scattered throughout the city.

Strip / table dance clubs:

In each club, I asked several questions and wrote down the answers as usual. Thus, if I am wrong; correct me please. I wrote down the lowest ficha price.

None of the clubs I visited had a cover charge!

The first 7 clubs were all in the Zona de Tolerancia. Many of the chicas would start out asking for 150 for 30 minutes, but if they thought I was interested, they would drop the price to 110 or 120.

I only went to one spa; Tantra. I went there around 5 on Friday and I saw 6 chicas, good to very good. I wasn't sure if I was even in the right place! The sign above the place said, "Tantras. " I decided to choose a dark skinned chica and she wanted 120 for an hour.

When we decided to go to the room, we left the building, turned right, and went into a different building. We went upstairs and at the top of the stairs was a different spa with a "nurse" theme. Maybe that place was Tantra? Before us, there were 4 other couples waiting for a room. As we waited at the top of the stairs, we waited for 15 minutes, and there were still 4 couples waiting for a room. All the 4 girls were wearing a nurse outfit.

I said, "Fuck this!" and we returned to the first building. I found the manager and asked, "WTF?" She told me her building did not have rooms and for that reason, we had to go to the other building. But, the chicas (nurses) at the other building had priority over their club for the rooms. I did receive a full refund, so the only thing I lost was my time and patience.

So, the big question is: Was I in the right place? Please chime in because I am still confused!

Zona de Tolerancia and Street Girls:

Woodman took me there around 4 on a Wednesday afternoon. After walking around for 15 minutes, I came to the conclusion the Zona de Tolerancia was the biggest monger candy store I have ever seen! There were 100+ street girls available and their prices varied.

Woodman sent me a map of the active streets, which I will share with the board. From what I gathered, the area was from Calle 24 to Calle 19 and between Avenida Caracas and Carrera 17.

Besides the street girls, the area had numerous clubs. Basically, it was like shooting fish in a barrel. It was the shopping mall of putas; I loved the area. I was there every night during my romp.

Escorts:

As I was skimming through the ads on Mileroticos, the prices ranged from 100 to 400 for an hour. They all wanted more money for "oral al natural. " I had only one escort during my romp and the cost was 300 and included, "oral al natural."

Final thoughts on Bogota:

It was a seeking putas and eating good food trip. I thought the city was quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. If I lived there, I would learn other forms of transportation. The city was huge! Would I ever return to Bogota? YES, I felt like I only scratched the surface of the monger scene and restaurants. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!

I'll start by saying I know some love this city. And I'm certainly not trying to sway anyone from avoiding Bogota. I just have to say it's not for me. One problem certainly overshadowed my entire trip. That incident was bad and will certainly prevent me from considering a return. (More on that later).

I won't bore everyone with blow by blow details. So forgive the general nature of my report.

The city: traffic is insane. That said, it seems like just plan on going anywhere took 35 minutes. It can be close by or far away. Every trip seemed to take 35 minutes. I stayed near Santa Fe and frequented alot of casas to the north. In hindsight, I should have stayed up north. I stayed at Tequendama Suites. The room was nice and more than adequate, especially for the price point. The surrounding area was part of my problem. If you choose Tequendama, just know that you are in a busy area. Think about sleeping near Times Square. Horns amd sirens. It's a big city amd except for a few hours overnight, it's hectic. One other issue: uber drivers had a HELL of a time finding me. Most of them came down carrera 13 and missed their turn on carrera 10. Then they'd cancel. There's not really a parking area there, which also caused minor issues.

Girl quality: it's almost stupid to discuss this broadly. But I would say for my tastes, Medlellin has a vastly superior selection. In my opinion, Bogota is filled with good looking girl next door types. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's kind of my sweet spot. I'm not one that goes out and hunts 10's. But I do think the overall quality in looks is a step or two below MDE. As for service, in my experience the GND usually delivers better service. I really have no complaints about the service levels I had with any of my sessions. Compared to MDE, Bogota seems to have more laid back, service-oriented chicas. And price wise, it's not even close. MDE is easily twice as expensive per session. (That's apples to apples; of course there are ranges for each area you shop in). For what it's worth, Bogota seemed to have alot of good food options.

Santa Fe and SF bars: total let down. I arrived on Thursday so it wasn't the days of thr week. Honestly, they were a waste of time. In any of the bars, there were between 5 and 20 girls. If you are a guy who wants to walk in and choose the girl, go upstairs and knock one out, these places are adequate. I typically like to have a drink or two, party a little bit. Well, that just never happened. It had kind of a weird vibe. Maybe slightly depressing? I can't find the right word. But it was not a party feel. And every bar had near ear splitting music. I like the party vibe. I like the music. But when you can't hear the person next to you, it's too loud. I didn't session with a single girl in those bars. I'm sure they are gold mines for some of you. But it wasn't my scene.

Santa Fe is, in a word, interesting. There are definitely some diamonds there. It has a dangerous yet thrilling feel. To say all shapes, sizes and types are available is an understatement. I was surprised that some of the most attractive girls I saw in Bogota were on the streets of SF. That said, a little foreshadowing. Walking the streets of SF you can just feel the target on your back. I'm a gringo. I always travel alone. I've done alot of travel. But here more than anywhere I've been, you can just feel the target on you. Interestingly, I did not have any problems in the heart of Santa Fe. But.

My incident: I'd consider myself a seasoned traveler. I have a fair amount of street smarts. I take reasonable precautions and accept that there is an inherent risk in how we operate. Well, I finally got got. Outside of Tequendama Suites, I got mugged. I mentioned that target on my back. In hindsight, I made a mistake or two. But I also feel like the odds are just stacked. A gringo walking alone there is just a matter of time. I'm a big dude. I remain alert to surroundings. One mistake was that I felt the area I was in, literally in the shadows of Tequendama Suites, was so busy that no one would be that bold. Walking past Itau, essentially across the street from the hotel, a group approached me and pulled a knife. They directed me just off the main street and robbed me. They got a very small amount of cash and my burner phone. They made me unlock the phone and took off. The four guys were all dressed very well, but to be honest, I never saw them until they had the knife on me. But they definitely would not have caught my attention based on their appearance. What struck me was that this busy area with seemingly 100 or more people was all of a sudden empty. There was NO ONE within a block. There was not alot of commotion. I chose not to scream and yell. But after it was over, it sure felt like everyone knew what was going on and they all scattered like rats. Rookie mistake: for convenience, I had a few apps that I should have kept off my burner. So that's the biggest loss. It's a pain in the ass tracking down digital footprints. Obviously, that soured me on Bogota. But, even if that didn't happen, I just didn't like the scene.

Lastly, a couple bright spots I would call out. Vicky's Spa. It is not a cheap option by any stretch. But all of the girls there are spectacular. I would recommend Sara if you like them wild. LOL.

I also hit the jackpot with a couple selections off of Mileroticos. Tequendama Suites has a good security process to the point they won't let the girl leave without you confirming all is well. So I took a chance there and was rewarded for it.

For those that love this city, enjoy it. Just not for me.

After Cali, I headed to Bogota. Both for a dentist visit on Monday and Santa Fe. I like Bogota but don't fancy the weather. Having to pack a sweater in the summer seems ridiculous. Airbnb near Santa Fe is very convenient. Work on Transmilenio and Ave Caracas means even slower traffic than usual. Walked around Zona T -- Crowded with shoppers for a Sunday evening. I had to buy a jacket because of the cold. No skimpy dressed girls walking around here. Taxied to Santa Fe. Have never been too far south of Calle 22. Wow. Compared to the areas around the strip bars, South of Calle 22 is the Wild, Wild West. Perhaps a lower quality girl and certainly groups of Trans girls, but quite the spectacle. On two occasions I saw two different girls standing with their breasts fully exposed on the street corner. That's how fierce the competition is, I guess. I chatted up one young thing and as soon as I mentioned BBBJ she turned cold. Wouldn't budge. Moving on, you have to be bold to approach these girls standing in the darkened corners. I imagine pretty much any kind of action wouldn't be too hard to find with a bit of effort. And you will see more addicts and zombies. I think the biggest difference here on this side of Calle 22 is it's not as well lit, a bit more risky if you are alone, and the girls don't put in too much effort to look good. Pockets of people in small bars and on street corners having fun, which I took part in. Trans girls hustling with supply far outweighing demand. Just keep your wits about you and don't act too drunk. I found a girl I liked and moved to a love hotel. No pressure on time. 50 K standard rate. Average service, but friendly, not too crazy. BBBJ included, but I tipped her in appreciation. The next night I returned and found more people out than the night prior. The girl I met was freezing in her short shorts and thin top. But a cute, innocent thing (to my eyes.) I negotiated BBBJ in the room, which she did, if reluctantly. Bonus 50 K on top of standard 50 K. I could tell she was new to the scene. My two night venture in and around Santa Fe included stops at the three liveliest clubs -- Venus, Troya, and Atunes. Very few girls inside any of them. Like, maybe three to five? Not many men either. Venus was the most interesting in that two separate girls did a full strip lap dance on their clients at the table, getting very into it. Sexy as hell. But in general, Santa Fe proper -- where the bars are -- seemed very dead. Not many girls hanging around in the streets. Could be the time of year. I was there from 8 PM to 10 PM and felt safe everywhere. For an extra shot of adventure, I recommend heading over to the streets south of Calle 22 towards Calle 20 and Calle 19. When clubs are good there can be 15-25+ girls.

You did not mention Texas which away from the club row on KR 16 and Calle 23, Texas has some dirty fun girls when it is good some of those girls work the streets too -- and can have some good pussy during the day too as it has action early.

Similar to Venus and Atonis they have less regulation and you can tip the waiter to leave you alone They even will usually let me bring in my water or other beverage (they know me) -- The sessions can be for less than at Fiebre- Troya-Paisa although there usually is more hot girls in those.

Best time for clubs is evening-- say wed-Sat but can be good on other days.

Street girls are usually really good at rush hour be great and prime times too-- the South stroll dies early-- but there are always usually girls.

Just come back from Bogota and I saw only a 9/10; the rest were 5 or 6 according to my taste; I went to SF, 7 de Agosto, mezzanines, but did not find anything worth spending more than $20; I have many regulars of mine that went to spain where they can make more money.

When I arrived at the airport, I did not see a taxi booth, so I just headed outside. All the taxis quoted the same price; 60. Because it was late, the streets were empty. It should have taken 15-20 minutes to reach my hotel.

InDrive Was never able to get the app up and running.

Returning to the airport, my hotel called one of their van drivers and the cost was 40.Man you got to get that Indrive fixed. That is a 15,000 peso ride.
