View Full Version : Medellin Reports
So I just wrapped my first visit to MDE a couple of weeks ago and am preparing a major report to share, but I wanted to drop a quick update that seems timely. In chatting with one of the ladies I met, I heard that in the last few days the city is majorly cracking down on everything happening around the Parque. I'm a first timer so I have no comparison but there was definitely a massive police presence there- yet it did nothing to deter the amazing time I had (more on that in a forthcoming report).
But anyways this lovely young woman with a perfect ass and beautiful pouty lips has told me it's been a huge deal, they're making all of the bars at the Parque that are known working girl spots to close down early, and apparently the rumor is that everything is to be shut down in the next couple of months. And girls are getting fined for propositioning people in the Parque itself.
Any of you old pros, expats, or general contrarians can feel free to take that with a grain of salt, but anyone who is reading this and itching to finally pull the trigger, I'd consider doing it sooner than later. It's all political theater. Elections are coming at the end of May.
There are corrupt government officials in every government. Colombia has had my info for almost 20 years without issues. Calling Colombia a third world country shows your lack of knowledge of the country.I've never been in a car crash in my entire life, but I still wear my seatbelt. Just cause you haven't had issues in 20 years, doesn't mean people should not be cautious. If you wanna give your info, good for you, but there are absolutely different levels of corruption. You know nothing about me and I know way more than enough about Colombia to know I don't want them handling my financial info. Let everyone decide for themselves. Colombia is far from a safe haven. Go ahead and wear your rolex in the streets of Colombia. I'll keep mine safe at home.
It's all political theater. Elections are coming at the end of May.100% . The police presence ebbs and flows with elections and public opinion on tourists. That has been my experience since 2014 or so. They've completely shutdown freelancers in Parque Lleras 2-3 x and the action just moved to Parque Poblado. This works until all of the Lleras businesses raise a ruckus due to fewer customers and then they re-open it.

Crackdowns on streetwalkers, bars and nightclubs doesn't really affect the girls from Facebook. It is always business as usual with Facebook girls.

It's surprising how many of the victims in these types of things are Latinos (from the US or elsewhere).I thought about this same thing and wondered why. I think it's because they get too comfortable. You know, they speak the language and can blend in. But, they need to remember they are still an outsider and not one of them! Getting too comfortable and letting your guard down sets you up to get victimized.
It's surprising how many of the victims in these types of things are Latinos (from the US or elsewhere).Probably from the over confidence of knowing the language and culture with the western upbringing and dollar.

The truth is very little is required. The US form 1040 without supporting schedules or documents. So the only information that you would be sharing is your 'social security number'. Not your bank accounts, not your place of employment, not your investment accounts, not your net worth.
Being cautious is prudent in any country. But despite your 'advice' I think most people are more likely to be scammed in the US vs a foreign country.

Enough that he starts thinking "nah, it won't happen to me" and then it does.
Also I'm pretty sure this kind of thing happens to Colombianos as well. Probably a lot more than to extranjeros but the media doesn't care about that.

Only country I have gotten in a vehicle with a stranger was in San Salvador, El Salvador to go to another titty bar. I would not do that in any other country and I bet some of these guys think because they speak the language it will be easier to get help.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/colombia-medellin-body-found-eric-gutierrez-molina-american-airlines/Seen some reports that theres a large police presence in Lleras, this headline won't help at all.
I mean, they're stuck between a rock and a hard place, the tourism money is huge but also can't be allowing Lleras to become a complete passportbro playground.
Headed there for work in a couple weeks but I'm staying in Laureles for 10 days. Might take a trip down to Poblado and see how things are looking.

I might pass through the park tonight after a party, depending on the weather.

It's surprising how many of the victims in these types of things are Latinos (from the US or elsewhere). And gay as well. (His longtime partner, Ernesto Carranza, told CBS News). I know a gay cat who was in Arizona and went out with some people he thought he knew. He said that he had spent the previous Thanksgiving with them. Well anyway, he went out to a club with them and the next thing he knew he woke up in Denny's nekkit. The cops told him that kind of shit happens all the time (so it is not just Colombia) and to just be thankful that he is still alive. He was more so worried about what his dad was going to say, because it was not his first time fucking up and he had warned him many times before to cut the bullshit.

Generally, massages from girls in casas are a waste of time. It is like getting a regular massage from someone who doesn't know how to give a regular massage. So it is not a good regular massage and it is not a sensual teasing massage. If you want a real massage, you should go to a professional and not expect a happy ending. If you want a sensual teasing massage that may end with a blowjob or regular sex, you need to go to a girl who specializes in such massages and she will know what to do.Yes, I'd say in the past decade it was less and less actually girls who knew how to give a massage. Most of the time now when you get a massage from them its so they can check their phone and give half ass massages that do nothing.
However if anyone wants a FANTASTIC massage girl peep Ailen! Top 5 massages in Medellin prob my #1 currently.

She is amazing! I have a review of here if you check my messages.
The poor quality of food is my number 1 enduring frustration about living in Medellin. There are probably 15 to 20 restaurants I consider worth my while. If you are ok with bland and tasteless dishes that are heavy on starch, grease and salt then you will have no problem. Most of the Peruvian places are good (Mistura, Rocoto, Cuzco, etc.), there are a couple of good Colombian restaurants in Poblado (Idilico, oci. Mde, Sambombi). I honestly can't think of another Colombian restaurant worth a visit. Mwanwhile, locals wait on liine to get into Mondongos and Crepes and Waffles (a watered copy of the Cheesecake Factory). There are a few good ethnic restaurants around town. I spend more time cooking than I would like but the other advantages of the city outweigh all that.
This is my longest trip to Medellin. It has been 5 months already and I probably will be here for another 2 months. I left the country in January for a week so I was able to reset the 6 month limit for the year. You could actually extend to a year if you spend the last 6 months here before the end of the year and then leave for a short while and come back the beginning of the next year and that would be a year. I did the online extension after 3 months and it was relatively easy.
The weather is nice except for a lot of rain from time to time. City of Eternal Spring is true.
Food is average. Some guys like it but I think that most of my meals have been average to subpar. If you pay up a bit more, you can get better food. Pizza, hamburgers, fried chicken and pasta are generally your best bets but not the healthiest.
I've been visiting el Centro since I first came to Medellin, 10 years ago. It's one of my favorite parts of the city because of the atmosphere (gritty, but vibrant), the low cost, and the kinds of women I can meet there.
I usually walk on the side of the Veracruz church and up Carrera 53 for a block. I'll often stop in a cafe or bar there and watch the women walking around. Sometimes, it takes me a while to find a woman to go with. I avoid women sniffing the white or pink powder on the street. I'll talk with a woman, but then sometimes get suspicious they might be trans, or it seems they are too drunk or drugged out for my taste. Some women are too high pressure, or won't do what I want for the price. It will often take an hour or two walking around, looking and talking to 2 or 3 women before I go up to the room. I offer a woman 50 k for a half hour. Sometimes they ask for a little more (60 k-70 k total). I don't try to bargain. I do tell them a couple things I like in bed.
I've been going to the same love hotel right there. I like that they check the woman's ID. Some women won't go with me because they don't have their ID to get into this hotel. Short-time in the hotel is 14 k pesos. It's supposedly for a half hour, but they often won't knock unless the woman asks them to. I will usually offer the woman a beverage from the hotel (5-10 k). Sex is usually good, sometimes great. Many of the women I go with have excellent bodies and faces. I'll admit that I had to get used to all the tattoos some women have. Most women are patient with me and do several positions. I often get oral sex with no condom, for no additional cost. I generally tip 20 k for satisfactory service, and up to 50 k for exceptional service with a woman I want to continue with. I always pay after sex. Sometimes they ask for payment before, but I say no and they don't press the issue. Some women are ok with their photo being taken and will give me their phone number.
I've only had a handful of bad experiences over the years. Sometimes the sex isn't very good. One time, the sex was great, but then the woman wanted 200 k when I expected to pay her 80 k. There was a loud argument and hotel staff got involved. I wound up just paying her the 200 k to avoid further drama. Even at that price, the sex was well worth it. I know other people have been drugged, had their phones and wallets stolen etc. The young men on the corner, watching your every movement, are also a potential risk should you let yourself be vulnerable.
While the risks in el Centro are real, they are usually avoidable. Depending on your tastes, the great pleasures of el Centro are almost guaranteed.
My budget for a woman in el Centro:
50 k. Charge for half hour.
20 k. Tip.
8 k. Beverage for her.
14 k. Hotel.
92 k. Total ($25 usd).
I am a Colombian tax resident and I just don't see the big deal. Your info is already all over the place and if you have nothing to hide then what's the big deal?I am a resident of Colombia. Yet I work really hard not to become a tax resident.
May not be a big deal if you only have retirement income or a modest salary. But if you have a successful business or investments, world income would leave you nothing left.
Also it is not 183 days in a year it is in the last 12 months. If you stayed 4 months say Late August, left for Christmas, returned in Feb and stayed 3 months you would already be over.
You might not trigger it on your departure. Coming back in would. Would have to wait to return until the prior August days had all fallen off, best below 180.

I've found some good places around town that have quality food and tasty, but in general, you are spot on. Most tourists will probably wind up going to chains. If you spend enough time in Medellin, you can find a few hidden gems. Weekends can be tough, especially on Sundays, because it's family day and just about every restaurant will be crowded. I tend to like the food on the coast more than Antioquia, but I do like the soups here. In general, it tends to be a positive experience, although the customer service and consistency can sometimes be lacking.
After chatting up with a few girls. I decided to do a price check starting with the 200 k that they say is 200 mil. 90 percent was fine with it immediately or after a little haggling. I soughta felt like I could have dipped lower. Don't try it at home precaution, I am still attractive and fit for 61. So there could be different results. Found a spot seems to be centrally located. Gym on the rooftop. The girls seem to be very aggressive wanting to know when I arrive. Like they want to be first. What's the dynamics with that since its paid sex? What are the flags to abort an arrangement? I took an HIV test negative. Starting truvada today. Anyone with experience with it. What's the first spa I should entertain. The plan is spa a day, visitor a day.
I just bought my ticket to Medellin for April. It's only my 2nd visit. My 1st was in 2022 and I stayed in Airbnb's. I had no trouble with them and found a great place that didn't have security staff. Now that scopolamine is more prevalent, would I be better off with a hotel or Airbnb with security? Did it make a difference? On my 1st visit I used tinder and parque Lleras to find women. That may make me an amateur in many of your eyes, and I am, but I was very pleased with the results I got. Anyways the 2 questions are, best places to stay, best way to find women. If anyone is willing to mentor, please pm me. I'll give you my number and maybe we can chat. Thank you.

El Salvador is worse, Iceland is worse, and Paraguay is worse. Probably a couple of others if I run through the whole list. Arepas suck.

Being scammed in the US is completely different than being scammed in a country that is not your own, especially one where laws are not enforced well. Espeically one where you can hire an assassin to for a couple K usd. Probably even yes.
I've spent as much time as I could in Colombia without being a tax resident. Since you seem to have more experience than I, maybe you could fill us in with what it really means to be a tax resident, because it doesn't seem possible that they will only ask you for a 1040. Being a tax resident as a foreigner means that if you have significant assets in any part of the world, you will be taxed on the total value of all your assets. Provided that the total value meets some threshold. A 1040 only provides information on income, it doesn't provide information on assets at all so it doesn't make sense to me.

At the ground floor is the Medellin Sports Bar where you can watch sports and hang out with other gringos, and a pretty good hamburger place across from it. Check it out.
I am a resident here. Honestly don't do much P4P as meet plenty of non pros who want a relationship on Tinder.
Yet, I hear FB a lot. If I had a huge list of young Colombian girls as friends. My real friends would know something is up.
So do guys not care about family, have 2 accounts?
Would appreciate info on how you pull it off!

Would appreciate info on how you pull it off!Yes, I've had 2 accounts for years. I do the same with IG and also have two phones and use multiple browsers. You have to be increasingly careful as the algorithms will analyze your social media trends, location, proximity, and web browsing to match you to others.
Naan is super bland and ordinary. Zaaika (Poblado and Envigado) and The Curry Lounge are world's better and authentic. Indians who visit Medellin are regular customers. You will never find an Indian in Naan.
I agree Olivia is a good option. Their menu is not very creative but they use quality ingredients and maintain good food safety.
La Provincia has consistently been one of the city's very best restaurants.
I've been to the rest of the places on your list. They are a cut above the standard Colombian restaurants but that is not saying much. I would probably like them more if I were a big red meat eater.

Hello,
I don't use this site much but from time to time check in.
I read some reports on a casa called Purple Elixir, never seen or heard of it before but when I search I cannot find anything anywhere.
Does anyone know if it's still open or location? Thank you!

Pretty chill this week as a lot of people are out of town for Semana Santa. The beaches are probably packed. I even know some chicas vacationing in the DR.

I stayed on the 15th floor once and it was fine.I've stayed on those upper floors several times during the weekend and the noise from the street is very loud. Other people have noted the noise in reviews and I agree with them from personal experience. The noise may be fine with you but not for some others.
This Colombia trip is costing me $90 round trip flight. $290 - 200 credit card credit. I go to Jamaica for 3 months to care for my mother. Job pays for it. Every April I go someplace other than Jamaica for variety. So I stay true to my nature. Free or inexpensive. By the way about this time last year I was in Brazil. So I don't get stuck in one country. The high for me is exploring the world on a limited budget LOL. Ghana next. With my skills and research appearance. I think I can do well anywhere.
Jamaica is full of beautiful womenand I mean beautiful women. If you can be with a different woman every night for the price of a box of KFC, why would you even consider leaving the island for a place like Colombia? Just my thoughts. Enquiring minds want to know!.
AI on Colombia 183 rule: The 183-day rule in Colombia dictates that if you stay in the country for more than 183 days within any consecutive 365-day period, you become a tax resident, regardless of your visa status. This triggers the obligation to report and pay taxes to the DIAN on your worldwide income and assets. Key Aspects of the 183-Day RuleRolling Period: It is not limited to a calendar year (Jan 1 – Dec 31). It is any 365-day period. Physical Presence: The 183 days can be continuous or interrupted (totaled over several trips). Entry / Exit Days: Both the day you arrive and the day you leave count toward your total time in Colombia. Trigger Mechanism: Upon reaching day 184, you are considered a tax resident for the fiscal year in which the period concluded.

My high priced CO tax accountant / attorney who lived in Miami for 15 years tells me. Don't go above 180.
Also my wording on triggering needs explaining. If you do hit 183 days. Yes you are by the letter of the law. You are to keep DAN happy for that Calendar year. Yet they won't know about it in a practical sense on your exit. If you do not stay out long enough to get under preferably 180 in the past 365 day so days falls off for each you are adding. DAN will be informed on your arrival.
In summary what really sucks about this is. If very close you have to plan your trips either at almost the same time each year or later in the year after the prior year. AND best Exit the same time or earlier if you came in the same time.
Royal PITA.
I always leave enough room if I would have to return for 10 days for something urgent in Colombia. (Not talking girls LOL).
I best add this is not legal advice.

What's the advantage to staying in Laureles vs. Poblado? During my first visit I really enjoyed the walking and picking up the chicas near Lleras. If I stay in laureles I assume I would have to walk to Lleras. Correct? Or is there another place to find women in Laureles that I'm not aware of?I find that everything is cheaper in Laureles, plus I like the vibe there better. There are a few casas in Laureles also but I have not been to them. Poblado is much more expensive, especially if you drink or dine around Parque Lleras or Provenza. Usually when I visit my paisa comes and stays with me. If I want to go to Lleras then it's a cheap Uber or Didi ride there. Walking would be too far. I like staying at San Peter because it's safe and I have a whole apartment with a kitchen, plus the noise doesn't bother me. But to each his own. Hope that helps.

Or is there another place to find women in Laureles that I'm not aware of?Laureles, in general, in more residential and less hilly. For mongering, El Poblado is probably the better option between the 2 because of Lleras where there is a critical mass of available women. El Poblado also has better airbnb options, IMO. You would need to take a taxi from Laureles to Parque Lleras because it isn't walking distance. Really depends on what you like. If you want to be close to the action all the time, El Poblado is better between the 2, IMO. If you're doing FB or any kind of online stuff where you're not depending on streetwalkers, then you could probably stay pretty much anywhere (Envigado, Sabaneta, Belen, Laureles, Prado, Boston, etc.). But Lleras is pretty much ground zero for most sex tourists and night life seekers that visit the city. There is also El Centro if you like a more low budget trashier vibe.
I have three FB accounts for different uses. Or simply go into your settings and keep your friends list from being seen, simple.I did the same as Manizales911. When I moved to Medellin years ago I created a 2nd FB account with completely different info so as not to advertise to friends and family.
You also don't want to advertise yourself as a potential target.

I think I can do well anywhere..That's an absolute fantastic deal. I guess you got it down to a science.
There are some hotties in this video! And OMFG look at "las nalgas", like at around the 1:10 mark. It's been a minute since I've run up in some Colombiana cho cho. This makes me want to think about booking a trip! But I got to manage the budget. I got to manage the International Tricking budget hahaha! A monger has too many trips queued up already. It's hard out here for a trick LOL! I need to rethink this shit. Right now:

I think you can get used to anything. That said, it's hard for me to understand how anyone manages to sleep withing two streets of la 70. Medellin is generally pretty noisy but that area takes it to another whole level.
I've stayed on those upper floors several times during the weekend and the noise from the street is very loud. Other people have noted the noise in reviews and I agree with them from personal experience. The noise may be fine with you but not for some others.
AI on Colombia 183 rule: The 183-day rule in Colombia dictates that if you stay in the country for more than 183 days within any consecutive 365-day period, you become a tax resident, regardless of your visa status. Key Aspects of the 183-Day RuleRolling Period: It is not limited to a calendar year (Jan 1 Dec 31). It is any 365-day period. I think AI is failing you in this instance. According to the Migración Colombia web site "Migración Colombia may grant extensions of stay to foreigners whose nationality does not require a visa and who intend to extend their stay, having used an Entry and Stay Permit (PIP), without this exceeding one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days (continuous or discontinuous) within the same calendar year". This is also contrary to another poster who said it is any 365 period, not a calendar year. Either way, it comes down to what the immigration agent wants to do.

La 70 can be ridiculous in terms of the noise. Even with soundproof windows, the noise can be disturbing. Laureles has some very noisy areas. Anywhere near Estadio can be noisy when there ia a concert, futbol game, or other event. Also, around the 2 parks can be noisy, especially on the weekends and holidays. Colombians tolerate loud noise much better than Americans, IMO. With so many options in Medellin there is no reason to stay in an area that you know will have excessive noise. The touristy areas in Laureles tend to be noisy. That being said, you can find quiet streets, if you know where to look and what to look for. Also, if you are booking an Airbnb, read the reviews because sometimes people will be honest about the negatives of a location.

On my first visit I stayed at an Airbnb with no reception, just a private apartment in Manila. I really enjoyed the privacy, and the quiet location. Chicas came, chicas went, no questions.
1. With the whole scopolamine thing, is it really so prevalent and risky to justify staying someplace with a front desk that checks the girl's ID?
2. Does getting the woman's ID actually make you safer?
3. Or is checking your chica in at reception really not a big deal and I just need to get over it? Do the chica's mind?
Thanks guys your experience is valued.
Kinda funny to see the changes in Meddy. I guess Florida doesn't want the Spring Break crowd so now they will start coming to Medellin https://www.instagram.com/reel/DV3eGMTk3Ey/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet.

Thanks guys your experience is valued. If you get an AirBnB in a building that checks IDs, make sure the host is ok with bring back chicas. Some aren't. But as long as your host is ok with the visitors, don't worry about the front desk. They've seen it all before. The guards are typically guys, so the only judgement you're going to get is an evaluation of your taste in chicas.
With no pesos, what is my strategy. Questions. Do I get cambio at the airport? Do airport taxis take credit card? Laureles best choices: Western union, centro mall, ATM? I like Brazil where you could pay chicks with credit card. Is that the case with casas, strip clubs? Advice appreciated.

Some hosts do care about having chicas over but it is mainly women hosts who care about it.

Thanks guys your experience is valued.I would recommend telling them you have to register them online and asking for a Pic of their ID so send to security. I think they'd be less likely to drug you if they can be directly tied to the incident.
With that said, I'd only to a no security Airbnb if I plan on just using getting my nut then kicking them out. If you plan on casually hanging with them in the apartment and eating / drinking in their presence, just get a place with security in El Poblado. I had a place with a sign at reception saying no prostitution and still had women coming and going. They don't care for the most part as long as you're not causing distractions.

I'd just pay the taxi from the airport with cash. When you get to the city, just visit a Banco Colombia ATM and take out pesos.
A some of the girls online do take cards and they'll explicitly state it. Many of them take online transfers with whatever app they use. Casas seem to all take credit though you have to ask.
With that said it's a lot easier to scam with cards so I'd stick to pesos.

I have always wondered why some guys are willing to spend up to $1,000 a month on rent, yet complain about spending $40 or $50 per session with a girl. It's something I've never understood. You would be surprised how many men I meet who will drop a grand on a luxury apartment in Medellin just to impress people, but then nickel-and-dime when it comes to actual dates or sessions. It completely blindsides me.
One of the biggest lessons I learned from my travels is that no matter where you live in Medellin, you're always within a stone's throw of where you need to be. Whether you're in Poblado, Aranjuez, or Centro, you're still in the same city. Nowhere is so far that you can't get there in a 5 to 15-minute taxi ride. To me, excessive spending on luxury apartments just to impress girls has always been a waste of income. While I always prioritize safety and security, that doesn't mean I need to pay triple the rent to impress someone I might only see once or twice a month. Stay safe and stay alert, PN.

Only restaurants and shopping in malls. ATM's are your highest exchange rates. Don't exchange cash at airport. Definitely chicas & cases cash only.

Make sure to DECLINE conversion. Take COMBUSES bus to San Diego Mall-20 mil and from there Didi / Uber / taxi to your Airbnb in Laureles 12-20 mil https://combusessa.com/rutas/aeropuerto-sandiego.
Just a reminder for those who don't know ALWAYS decline conversion -bank is trying to get another 7-9% from you. Don't worry - declining won't cancel your transaction.

Have you seen the house that Mark Zuckerberg lives in? Does it also blindside you that he wears the same cheap ass hoodie everyday? Shouldn't he be in an Armani suit and custom gator shoes since he spent millions trying to impress people with the house?

The best ATMS are the Servibanca ATMs as those would give you the most cash per withdrawal.
Personally, every time I go to Medellin, I bring as much cash as I can in euros. I usually go to the Unicentro shopping mall.
Inside, there are lots of currency exchange places, so I just check a few and pick the one with the best rate. And honestly, the rates there are unbeatable.
I've exchanged money in Medellin many times, and Unicentro is always my go-to spot. I never use my Visa card, because the exchange rates there are way better than what you get with a card.

That is not a lot to spend to rent an apartment in Poblado at all. Why do they then try not to be spend more than $40 or $50 for a girl? It is the whole mentality of trying not to overpay which is separate from the actual amount. Sometimes they get it in their head that there is a so called going rate that they should pay and they shouldn't pay more. If you're paying only $300 a month for an apartment, I don't know about the quality of that apartment but it's all good.

Use your ATM card, or get a Schwab debit card. The best ATMS are the Servibanca ATMs as those would give you the most cash per withdrawal. It depends. I've found that Schwab works best with a Banccolombia ATM where you can withdraw up to 1. 5 million pesos in one transaction. In theory you can withdraw up to 7 million Pesos from Davivienda but it doesn't like Navy Federal Cards for some reason.
Decline the conversion fee so you get the actual rate and all fees are given back on the 25th to your account on schwab. I understand that AMEX and Fidelity has no foreign transaction fee cards as well.
I also suggest getting a wise, dollar app or Revolut recharageable card. There's fees associated with these cards but if you lose them and the wrong criminal gets ahold of them they can only take what's on your card not empty your account which can happen with most Bank cards.
Hope this Helps.

Stopped by Glow with some friends last night. Think this place has changed names a couple of times since my last visit. Wasn't impressed with the talent, but also realize it's Easter and a lot of chicas are with family. Vibe seems similar to Cartagena. Get bottle service for a table. Invite chicas over for a shot to initiate contact. Many dudes were purchasing prepackaged stacks of pesos to make it rain. Seemed to be a high number of middle eastern type dudes in the spot. Not sure if this is the new trend. Also the music was loud and mostly hip hop in English and Spanish. Definitely wasn't my vibe, but I'm glad I took the opportunity to see how things are since I rarely go to Lleras. For Newbies, I think it would be a lot of fun. I did this kind of stuff in Sosua years ago in a much better vibe.

I keep my debit cards locked, and only open them when I want to withdraw some cash. Once I get my money, the card gets locked again immediately, preventing some crook from cleaning out my account. The lock feature is one that I love, and I make use of it without fail. Everybody else should too. It's a free feature designed to protect you and your money. No reason not to. Just remember that you have your account locked before you attempt to withdraw any cash. When I first started using the feature, I had my Schwab account locked for a long time, and I had forgotten I had locked it. Wondered what the hell was going on, and ended up calling the bank, which advised that I had locked the account. Well, at least that proved to me that it works LOL!

Pro Tip as Husker Dude said use a ATM attached to a Bank and even better to do it at a Mall in the same location at the same time. Getting Two million out is 500 bucks You use credit cards for all major non Pussy purchases and even if you're a high roller It's kinda hard to spend 500 USD a day solely on pussy and I know some degenerates.
You can also get alerts on spending on the card by text or email and a check of your balance and statements should track your money.
Anything non Pussy or Party favor related should be paid by credit Credit card companies have no problem reimbursing you if you do lose your card.
One other reason to go with Schwab they mail cards to whereever you are free of charge. It will take a few days even thought they overnight it but you can get a new card in a jam.
Chase has a feature where if you lose your credit card you can lock it down while still being able to use it through the app or on Apple or G pay.
I reccommend that someone staying more than two weeks to have two debit cards and two credit cards one of each that remains in the safe.
Better safe than sorry.

Thanks guys your experience is valued. My whole approach from 2012-2022 (when I was scoped, actually probably ketamine) was to get rentals without porteros in places like Manila, Conquistadores, and broader Laureles. I wasn't doing more than 1-2 a day, but still like to have my privacy. I don't go anymore, but I think you're fine as long as you only drink beers that you directly open. Even if you have mixed drinks these girls can get something in there!
A Portero that has her ID is an even greater deterrent, but given all of the 'sex tourist' stuff these days it may hamper your style. Just what I think.
You can hide your friends on Facebook. Wouldn't that solve the problem on that particular platform? I don't use Facebook to find girls, but if I did, then hiding my friend list would be an absolute must. I keep my "normal' and my mongering lives completely separate, and never the two shall meet!Yes you can, but I like friends of mine from various parts of my 'normal' ife to see things and make connections. I've lived in several different cities and been to college 3 x, plus lived outside of the USA Hiding all of those friends would be a bit much for me. It is literally 4-5k people. My Medellin list was ~1k when I stopped in 2022.

https://www.servibanca.com.co/cajerosYes, that is a lot of discussion about ATMs and money. It's not that difficult. I would agree that Servibanca and Davivienda are the two best bank ATMs. They both allow you to withdraw 2,000,000 pesos in one transaction and the fee is basically the same, about 26 mil or so. Like others have indicated, the Charles Schwab debit card will reimburse you for the bank fees so I don't worry that much about bank fees. The other banks tend to have a lower amount in the range of 600 mil or less but there may be other banks with similar limits. If you are seeing chicas, you definitely have to have cash because they is what they want.
I don't lock down my card because it is too much of a hassle but it would be an extra level of safety.
Using the credit card for eating out and shopping would work for the most part. I generally don't take my credit card outside unless I plan on using it because losing your credit card is a big deal. You definitely have to report it quickly so you should have the telephone number of the CC company written down somewhere.
The best for the most cash and lowest fee is Servibanca, there is one inside the Exito, but there is one super hidden inside of a pharmacy in Provenza.
Davivienda and Servibanca each charge the same ATM fee, 26,000 COP. They both allow 2 million withdrawal per transaction. In my experience, Servibanca only dispenses 100 mil notes when getting 2 million. Davivienda almost always dispenses a mixture of 100, 50, 20 and 10 notes. Also, Davivienda has many more ATM's than Servibanca, and most of them are attached to a branch bank. I think Servibanca only has ATM's, no branches. Last year, Servibanca ATM fees were less, but not now.

Men who don't spent a $1000 a month on rent just to impress people. I don't know where you get that idea. They do it to get a comfortable apartment. Up to $1000 a month? That is not a lot to spend to rent an apartment in Poblado at all. Why do they then try not to be spend more than $40 or $50 for a girl? It is the whole mentality of trying not to overpay which is separate from the actual amount. Sometimes they get it in their head that there is a so called going rate that they should pay and they shouldn't pay more. If you're paying only $300 a month for an apartment, I don't know about the quality of that apartment but it's all good. Many of us will always say it is each individual's money. I have just always found it strange that a person would pay for such a nice apartment or a high-end place to live, yet be very fickle about spending money on girls or entertainment—whatever floats your boat, floats your boat remember it's always " your finances. " I've always thought that was extremely strange in that behavior.
One thing I notice is that they speak the same Spanish in Poblado that they speak in Centro, Buenos Aires, or Aranjuez. I won't spend extra money to be in Poblado just to say it's 'comfortable and nice. ' I can be comfortable in any neighborhood; therefore, I will always find a place where I feel at home without needing to spend the most to achieve comfort or safety. I take my precautions, I do what I need to do, and I find the best bargain I can for mi plata! That's all I'm saying. " PN!

I have been several times to PL but never saw a ATM like that. I always had to walk like 5 minutes to an ATM outside of Lleras Park. I couldn't find anything closer but curious on this as it will save me time as it sounds like it is in the park?

Personally there's nothing like a comfortable home. Entertainment comes with nice livingroom, big tv, space, even a nice view. King, queen bed that's nicely made. Attractive bathroom. You have rewarded yourself. The most important being. But some guys lose themselves when it comes to p $$$why and will live anywhere to offset the money they are willing to spend for companionship / p$$$y. The mindset of that guy who prefers a nice apartment is women I am first / you got to earn my money. You not going to quote a price and expect me to pay it. I am not going to overpay your ass. You got lots of fools willing and able to do that LOL. Just my thoughts LOL. Shots fiyad as we would say in my neighborhood.

I make sure that I equip the home with as many of American amenities as I can, because I don't want to have to leave my home and search all day for items in a grocery store or around Medellin, when I can just ship them to my place. On the other hand, I'm not going to haggle or wrestle with a woman about a price that she's requesting for her services. If I'm not happy with the price of services then I just turned the services down, but I'm not going to haggle with someone Simply because I've already set standard. I'm going to make the most of the place that I live in Colombia because it's mine & it is paid for. I don't have to spend another penny in it If I choose not to upgrade it any further. I know a dog shouldn't purr like a cat, and a cat shouldn't bark like a dog. That's all I'm going to say about that. PN.
Finally got a chance to see what all the hype is about with this place. It's Semana Santa so the lineup was light, as they only had 8 chicas on duty but the talent was very nice. A couple of spinners, different colors, big bootey, etc. The host told us that there is usually at least 25 or more chicas available. The facility is nice with space to chill out and drink, socialize with the chicas, take a dip in the pool or jacuzzi or there is even a party room with a pole. They told us there are 2 price levels (reminded me of Doctor Amor) some chicas are 550,000 and others are 650,000. I took a few pics of the facility and also their business card, in case anyone is interested.

Do you bring a backpack with your suit to go in pool / jacuzzi? Was there other guys there or was it mostly to yourself? I have never been to an FKKK? But is this kinda like that? Was there a restaraunt on site?

Not sure about the pool, if you need a bathing suit or not. You can check out their website I think it's on their card. I haven't looked at the website yet. You might also be able to contact them and inquire about those questions as well as the girls. The host and some of the girls spoke some English. The host actually spoke very well. Why didn't you take a girl?I had a girl coming over to my place later in the evening. Haven't spoken to him because he flew to Punta Cana the very next day.

That's a great deal $50 for 2 to 4 hrs. That changes the scope of debate. You are winning. To add to that. When a girl comes to my place the hourly rate never seems to apply. Who the hell started this hourly rate shit in a foreign country. I had one girl in Sosua say oh shit I been here for 3 hours. She lost sight of the time. It was first nut or when you both felt done with each other when the game started. These 30 minute, 1 hour guys done messed up the game. Anyhow question. Few nices one trying to get 400-500 k. Will that hold when I land in Medellin. Remember I was called the Gusto king for getting low rates LOL. I can't spend big money like chatbot. I think that's is name. LOL

LOL.Based on my observations in Medellin, a significant attraction for local women is the availability of hot water. Since many do not have this luxury at home, they tend to spend a considerable amount of time in the shower when visiting an apartment that has it. This contrast is striking because their own homes often lack heated water. Regarding current rates in Colombia, a budget of 400,000 to 500,000 pesos is generally sufficient for a two-to-four-hour encounter. PN.

I'm being quoted 400 to 500 but they are coming down to 350 pretty fast and I'm guessing will accept 300. I'll let you know.
What prices are people getting for tinder / snap / FB girls vs. Lleras venecas? I don't want to start a debate about what you should pay, can pay, willing to pay ect. Simply question is, what's the lowest you can pay. Yes, I'm one of those that will haggle, no I'm not ashamed of it and don't care what other guys think.

I met a girl that worked at the Mansion on facebook I was with other guys and on a time hack so I gave her 300 K.
Hope this Helps.

Well in Medellin when I book girls from Facebook or Insta or Tinder, usually I pay 300. But I can pay 400 because I want fuck them bareback! For example, last week for the last night I was in Medellin, I was speaking for few days with a sexy lady from Facebook who was 22 and she wanted 300 and I told her OK because she was very sexy. And directly I asked her if I can fuck her without condom because I don't like condoms. Then she asked me 500 instead of 300. And finally she agree for 400 TAXI included. I got a great time with her!

All good knowledge. Thank you for sharing. I have changed my approach from asking the girl what she charges to me making the offer.
Did anyone know if Venezuelan spinners can still be found near Lleras and what the rate is there?
Many thanks.

Many thanks.Making the first offer versus asking how much doesn't really matter. For example, if the girl asks for 400 mil and you counter with 250 mil, it is about the same as you offering 250 mil and the girl countering with 400 mil. In both cases, you try to work out a number that works for both sides. There is also other factors that affect the price such as how many shots, how long she will stay, the type of sex and so on. There is no one going rate price for all girls. Each girl is different and each girl has a different price that she is willing to accept. Flexibility is the key.

If they won't come down to your acceptable number, see if you can add services or time that make it attractive. But always remember, you're in an abundance economy, not a scarcity economy.

You find much hotter freelancers in clubs, lleras park and bars, etc.
I would say knowing Spanish would give you an edge while negotiating with the girls, try to build rapport, take their numbers to negotiate at a later time if you really like them.
Here is another perspective. I don't negotiate time, because if we are not having fun, I don't want her to stay. I don't negotiate specific services, because if she does not want to do it, I won't enjoy it. I don't talk about condoms. So my approach is, do you want to come back to my place for sex for X amount of money? I do not negotiate from X amount. I speak fluent Spanish, I know to treat a hooker like a lady and a lady like a hooker, and I am in decent shape and jolly. If she says no, I say okay, maybe next time. If she says yes, I say, just know I always pay afterwards. If that leads to hesitation, I say I can show them the money so they know I am not wasting their time. If they say no, I say 'nice chatting with you, suerte. ' Many have said yes over the years and I get better sex when I let them do what they like to do vs wanting them to perform specific acts. As far as condoms go, I proceed without until and unless she puts one on me. Obviously this works better if you are clean and well groomed and either have a decent apartment or take them to a fairly nice love hotel. Everybody is different but I just advise guys not to get fixated on certain body types or certain needs and to just go with the flow. Obviously Spanish helps a lot and experience and being able to judge character do too.

Did not care to have it fixed, so for 2 years I lived by heating a water in a medium saucepan, mix it with a bucket of water, take the bucket to the shower and use a water ladle to scoop water and pour on my body to wash and rinse. Probably 60% of the world uses this method.

They recognize this and enjoy it as much as they can. If you have one of those shower heads where you don't ever want to get out of the shower, even better. Same with having a jacuzzi in your spot.
Lleras and El Centro were much different back then. The Mansion was a good option.

Making the first offer versus asking how much doesn't really matter. ...... Each girl is different and each girl has a different price that she is willing to accept. Flexibility is the key.I tend to agree with MoonShot and go with the flow. Perhaps of interest, this from a Harvard Business School Blog on who should make the first offer in a price negotiation, the buyer or the seller?
"Abundant research on the anchoring effect, documented by psychologists Amos Tversky and Daniel Kahneman, shows that the first offer made in a negotiation serves as an anchor that has a strong effect on the final price. For this reason, negotiators are often advised to try to engage in price anchoring by making the first offer. " But the blog then goes on to discuss exceptions based on the respective market knowledge of the parties.
This is generally how I get to "Yes" with a lady of choice.
Once I've made a date with a chica (whether we have met online, in a club, or in Parque Lleras) and we've now moved on to WhatsApp to communicate the details, I write something, to the effect: "Meanwhile: let's agree on the mutual benefits. Pleasures in the sack for me. A generous gift for you." I then describe in detail what I expect in the way of services (DFK, BBBJ, often bareback), add that of course, going bare assumes good hygiene and I have STD tests, and hope all the above is agreeable. I then leave it up to the chica on how to reply.
At this point a few chicas drop out, insisting on doing everything covered. Of those who agree with my requests, I'd estimate one third respond immediately with a price demand of their own (often highlighting a premium for BBBJ and / or bareback), one third will answer, "Bien, amor" but ask me to say how much I'll pay, and one third just agree and leave it up to me to bring up price again. Most will accept what I offer or negotiate but a few of the super hottest chicks clearly can get their asking price, unreasonable as it may sound, be it even in the 500 to 800 range for bareback--take it or leave it amigo. I will almost always take a pass in such cases, but (for a genuine supermodel Victoria Secret quality chica), her pricing may actually be reasonable and market based. These are the same ladies who would be asking (and getting) $1000 to 2000/ hour on escort sites in the US (especially if positively reviewed for looks and performance).
In respect to time, at my age, being a one shot guy, I write something like, "At least one hour to laugh and converse together without looking at the clock. " If the chica proves sociable at all, she'll end up hanging out for another half hour or hour after sex--usually more than enough pleasant but inane conversation for me. That said there are some chicas who are great in bed but have no conversational skill / interest, and I'm just as happy to have them leave after the deed is done.
In sum, many paths to YES.

Same as when I was a kid and could not wait to try moves like the figure 4 leg lock or the camel clutch, not realizing the whole thing was fake.

I then leave it up to the chica on how to reply.Often, when I ask how much, the girl will say how much will you offer, throwing it back to me. I often but not always like to ask how much to get a sense of how entitled she thinks she is. If she is going to ask for 800 mil, then it is unlikely that we will reach an agreement. If she is going to ask for a little more than I am willing to pay, then it is likely we can reach a deal.
Now there is the question of whether you should give a low ball offer first and then raise it in response to her howls of protest. I generally will give a reasonable offer that should be acceptable to many but not all, and give myself 100 mil room if she is worth that amount. There are times when the girl is in a dire financial situation and I could really drive down the price but I don't do that even though I could. I have enough money so I don't feel the need to go down to the lowest possible price that she would be willing to take under the circumstances.
There are also times when the girl says no to your final offer and then 2-3 weeks later or more, she will say yes. I have had girls come back to me on the next trip after a few months and then say yes so no reason to insult the girl or make snide comments when she is holding out for more money. Just be nice about it and you never know. I.

I think this is exactly the point PolloNegro is making. Being able to just go into a shower and enjoy hot water is a luxury for most of these chicas. They recognize this and enjoy it as much as they can. If you have one of those shower heads where you don't ever want to get out of the shower, even better. Same with having a jacuzzi in your spot. This explained everything clearly. Thank you so much! PN.
This explained everything clearly. Thank you so much! PN.No problem. These chicas love luxuries LOL. https://youtube.com/shorts/tABEJmGO35c?si=eK5b5Vl2AqYg4ARe.
Making the first offer versus asking how much doesn't really matter. Flexibility is the key.In business, which may be a bit different, making the first offer helps you set the narrative of the negotiation. While I didn't go to Harvard Business School, I did go to one just a couple notches down, and two things stuck with me for that $100 k plus tuition. #1 In negotiations, make the first offer, #2 - There is a tremendous amount of $$ to be made in non-sexy industries (I. E. Trash collection, pesticides, vices, cleaning in general, prostitution? Simply because people don't want to be associated with them.
The above noted, I agree 100% that you should always be flexible, polite, and keep your temper.
Here is another perspective. I don't negotiate time, because if we are not having fun, I don't want her to stay. I don't negotiate specific services, because if she does not want to do it, I won't enjoy it. I don't talk about condoms. So my approach is, do you want to come back to my place for sex for X amount of money? .... As far as condoms go, I proceed without until and unless she puts one on me.....I agree with you on always trying to be clear about paying after. For condom, I also have good hygiene, but some newer or less experienced girls will be taught to use a condom. If you mention it up front I find they are often ambivalent and will do BBBJ, but if you don't mention it beforehand, it's harder to have the convo in the moment. This of course depends a lot on relationship and location. Some of the more 'done up' prima donna girls will also try to do covered blowjob. I've never had a girlfriend try to put on on me, but if I have an online date it will occasionally happen.
According to my mathematical equation. You went from $50 2 to 4 hours to $110-$135 2 hrs. Man which one is it. You are under oath LOL. Now I am trying to get a girl to stay the full day for $100. She has gone as low as 600 k. Which I am still not willing to pay. Actually I am testing if she wants to fuck me slightly or very badly. If the hot water principal was still in effect the cover charge would be a whole lot cheaper. So I disagree with that assessment LOL.
Based on my observations in Medellin, a significant attraction for local women is the availability of hot water. PN..

Whenever I shower with a chick from a place where hot water is this supposed "luxury", they say the water is too hot and want it to be cold. Same thing with drinks. In a lot if countries they do not fancy putting ice in drinks, so if you give them a drink with ice (how we like it where I come from) they will refuse it. It is their culture to take showers with cold water. They are not seeing the foreign way as a luxury they want. Case in point, when I had a girlfriend in Cali I could not stand the cold showers, so I had a heated shower head put in. The only use it ever got was when I was there using it.

I lived in an apartment where the water heater did not work. Did not care to have it fixed, so for 2 years I lived by heating a water in a medium saucepan, mix it with a bucket of water, take the bucket to the shower and use a water ladle to scoop water and pour on my body to wash and rinse. Probably 60% of the world uses this method. To each their own but I think that is absolutely ridiculous. I worked too fucking hard to not have hot water wherever I am staying. I stayed at a place last year that had a broken water heater and the owner told me it would be three days before it would be fixed and he wasn't going to reimburse me a single peso, I left anyway and went to a real nice hotel, I didn't ask for or expect reimbursement, I wanted hot water. My daughter lives in a house in Manizales that has no hot water, I offered to pay to install a hot water heater, the family turned my offer down, stupid. And the tap water in Manizales is ICE cold.
Hot water is non-negotiable for me. I could do without it if I had to but I have no reason or need to do without it.

If it is something you have to have then tell her at that point. Ifvshe says no then move on. You don't want to be arguing this point when they are at your place. It wrecks the experience if you have to debate and argue to resolve the issue.

Hello fellas,
I'm in medellin this weekend and wondering where to go, I'm more fan of casas than go around the street as since I'm foreigner don't want to end up scamed or worse (although I just carry with me some cash no cards and a burner phone with no personal info which I could happy give it away in case I try to get mugged. I heard poblado is better for that but my budget is to have half hour for 80 and hour for 120/150 no more just to try the experience for a couple of days this weekend. Anyways if is in the street. How does it work here? If ypu see a girl in the street she'll bring you to a near hostel, (is a safe walk?) thay's where you pay usually the room and then you pay her upstairs. If I read well el centro is kinda sketchy so I would prefer a casa or even better a piso but the girls in mileroticos some ask money in advance (no go) others I had the experience they arent half good as the pictures are. So if someone has a good contact for independent I will make sure I'll mention you and give a tip as well. You can PM with links or WA numbers if that's something cool you can do to help on my quest.
Cheers rocketeer!

You can pick a short-time room or go to the one she suggests. Either one should be safe. Don't be there after dark. The casas in El Centro are within your budget, but other areas cost more. If you pick up someone in or around Parque Lleras or Laureles, you have to take them to your place, either where you are staying or a short-time hotel.

In the past, our arrangements typically ranged between 50,000 and 150,000 COP. However, she was quick to inform me that her professional standing had evolved; her current rates now start at 350,000 and can reach 600,000 COP.
Curiosity and a bit of nostalgia led me to agree to the new terms. We settled on a total of 400,000 COP for the evening. Despite the significant price increase, her energy was unmatched—so much so that within just over an hour, I realized I had met my limit. Recognizing that I needed to conserve my energy for the rest of my trip, I decided to conclude the session early. I provided her with a 50,000 COP tip for her time and bid her a polite farewell, jokingly admitting that her intensity was more than I could handle for one visit. She knocked my socks off & even more. Have fun my brothers.
With that being said, I still have friends who come over & spend 2-4 hours for $200 k or essentially 50 Bucks, give or take? PN.

One of my biggest hang ups about Colombia used to be the condiments. Every time I visited, the thing that bothered me most was that despite the wonderful food, I couldn't find the right flavors to go with it. The salad dressings and steak sauces tasted different, and they'd often offer honey instead of syrup. When you're accustomed to a specific taste, that's what you want.
I vowed that for any extended stay, I'd ship everything to my home here in advance. I didn't want to be in this beautiful country with an excellent steak but no A1 sauce—especially since American brands are priced astronomically here. Having those familiar comforts makes the stay so much better. I love southern food and I love to cook, so I enjoy making meals for the people I'm with and sharing those authentic American flavors. By shipping my favorite products months ahead of time, I skip the store hunt entirely. Since the eggs, meat, and poultry are so affordable here, I can make hot wings, steaks, or pasta that taste exactly like home, all while enjoying life in one of the most beautiful places in the world."
Everyone has their non-negotiables. While some are comfortable boiling water for a bath—noting that much of the world lives this way—I have never been one of them. As a middle-aged man, I have no desire to bathe with a warm pot when I can install a showerhead for on-demand hot water. Similarly, while others can go months without specific foods or comforts, those details are essential for me. To stay away for six to eight months, I need to feel like I'm truly at home! Is it too much to have A1 Syrup Hoecakes &A ton of eggs daily for breakfast? PN.
I have a nice young lady willing to travel from afar in Colombia to come to Medellin. I made it perfectly clear that I can only pay $100 for full day. She pushed for 600 k but at first she pushed for 2 mil LOL. She also has interest in a threesome. I do have my reservation cause she has that fast thinking syndrome. She keeps pushing for when will you arrive. I made it clear that I don't want her visit to be dependent on me. Lately everything has been yes yes yes yes. I will do this that. I don't want to have my short stay ruined on the other hand if it works could be a fantastic trip. She says she loves sex. What yall experience guys think I should do? I had three multiple days experience in Colombia. The Gusto girl was great, another girl was great, and then a tinder girl that's great for short stay but ruined my birthday for long stay.

Thing is that it seems many guys think our comfort is their comfort, which it is not. That is an ethnocentric way of thinking.
The same girlfriend in Cali, when it was Christmas time I went to Brandsmart and bought a bunch of kitchen gadgets for $10 each. Electric can opener, hand mixer, and shit like that. Stuff that we see as making our lives easier. She never used any of that stuff. Her bed was literally a box spring with plywood on top. I had to sleep on top of pillows and folded up blankets trying to make it softer while she slept like a baby on that hard ass shit. She would not let me buy a mattress because she liked her bed that way.
I have bought several beds for girlfriends whose bed I did not find comfortable. My main girlfriend in Brazil, in addition to a new bed, I bought a fan for every room in the house, because carrying one fan from room to room does not work for me. I saw the tires on her car were bad so I insisted we immediately go buy a set. She would always want to use my phone to take pictures so one day I asked why she does not use her own phone to take pictures. She said it was really old and did not take good pictures. I saw it was an old ass IPhone, probably the one after the original. We immediately went to the store and I bought her a Samsung A55, which was the best they had to offer in the country part of Brazil. I spend money on girlfriends when I see they need something or when it will make me more comfortable. I do not spend money when chicks are telling me buy me this or that.

When heading for Mexican or Asian fare, I cannot even comment to my gal on how spicy a food is. What is a one or two for me in spiciness will have her face turning red.
It reminds me of the Hot Wings episode with Bill Murray when his costar Pete Davidson came on to eat the last spicy wing with Murray. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUyryfKyQgU
Go to the 16 minute mark and watch it. My gal is like Davidson and I am like Murray, and I suspect you are as well. Hell, most Mexicans are like Murray and most Colombians are like Davidson.
You make a good point. It may be the lack of spices that makes so much of Colombian cuisine so lame.
The salad dressings and steak sauces tasted different, and they'd often offer honey instead of syrup.Honey is natural, most syrup is composed of high fructose corn syrup, artificial coloring, and artificial preservatives. You are complaining?
I remember some time in early 2000's a colleague of mine and I traveled to Japan together for a work meeting. It was his first time. At the airport he was trying to buy a sim card, and so he was very frustrated that the personnel working there did not speak good English.

I think you are probably right about that. Today was an exceptional day. I cooked five racks of ribs, potato salad, baked beans, a garden salad, and some Southern hoe cakes. Everyone at my house was absolutely in love with how the ribs turned out! That's what I mean about having specific condiments and adding those little American touches that make everything taste like home.
Once you prepare food in this country, you realize the difference. I shipped down a gas grill, bought a small propane tank, and brought in wood chips so I'd still have that hickory smell. Between the chips and the authentic mesquite rub, the food turned out absolutely wonderful. I had about 12 guests over, and they couldn't stop talking about it. https://www.facebook.com/MigracionColWhy is that? Sex toys are legal, prostitution is legal.
If one goes to Colombia multiple times within a short time span, clean phone, no sex toys, just Tadalafil, and what he is doing is 100% legal there as well as in his country. Do he need to prepare and worry?
You can buy tadalafil and sex toys here. These guys have had their luggage inspected after they were unable to provide satisfactory responses to questions along the lines of "what is the purpose of your visit to Colombia?" It's a good idea to be able to name an attraction or two. You should also be able to indicate where you will be staying and it's better if the address you give is not one of the better known punter clubhouses.

Propane barbecue is pretend barbecue. But seriously, the longer you are here the more you realize how bad Colombian gastronomy is. Their favorite flavor is bland and their only seasoning is salt, sugar, grease, and cilantro. You can work around it in the big cities where there are international restaurants and specialty grocery chains like Carulla. In the pueblos and smaller cities it is grim. I was in Ibagué last week. I couldn't even find a decent pastel de pollo. One morning I was in a local bakery and everybody was eating calentado. I reverted to fruit and steamed vegetables.

Immigration officials in any country can deny you because they don't like the look on your face, no reason necessary. Colombia is tired of these Youtube idiots. That's pretty much it. You're visiting at their pleasure.

That is the smartest move, but you are not getting the smartest mongers in MDE. They can book tons of attractions and cancel them if they don't feel like doing any tourism. A coffee tour for example. The easiest is to find a local girlfriend or buddy and provide her or his info.

I was in Ibagu last week. I couldn't even find a decent pastel de pollo. One morning I was in a local bakery and everybody was eating calentado. I reverted to fruit and steamed vegetables. You're right. I live in Manizales and generally the food here sucks but there are a handful of decent restaurants but it took a lot of research and trial and error to get a decent roster of restaurants. That said, everything else about this city blows away the big three cities, especially the chicas. Tonight I'm taking a "9" chica to a Mexican restaurant owned by a Mexican family, the chica is the one that found this one, the restaurant has great reviews, we'll see.

Those hills can go to hell, but I guess that is what makes it so beautiful.

Hola amigos,
Regular poster in the Havana thread, going to try out Colombia in June. I've read the thread back 6 months and chatted with some people who've gone. My only issues are logistical. Some great recommendations here on dinero and restaurants and strip clubs.
My main concerns:
1) Where to stay (my preference on my first trip is to stay in Poblado, K. I. S. S.) for chica-friendliness. Some say hotels are better, others say certain AirBNBs (which is my typical lodging). I know the AirBNB drill, ask the hosts, and read the reviews, same as any city. But if there are hotels that are renowned for their chica hospitality, then maybe I can bypass the rigamarole of AirBNB research and host interviews. It REALLY raises my anxiety dropping the time and money on a trip and not even knowing if I am going to be able to take a chica home (not interested in the love hotels, I like home court advantage). Assume money is not a consideration.
2) Which city to fly into? Many experienced Colombia guys have different views on which airport to take and not be in immigration for 4 hours (I am ADD / type A and waiting in line is painful). I want to go to Medellin, but is it really better to fly into CTG (I'm already researching Cartagena chicas). Some say yes, some say BOG (frankly I'm a little scared of Bogota on my first trip), others say all the airports suck, so just redeye it and get there first (I'd prefer not to start my vacay with jet lag, as I'm no spring chicken). I don't mind flying into one city from the US, then hopping to another in Colombia, and flying back to the US from it, if that is more better than wasting 4 hours at MDE.
3) Is June a good month to go? Being equatorial I wouldn't think the time of year would matter, but it seems to be raining a lot there now. Rain kind of buzzkills strolling in Lleras park, eh?
Also, many references to "casas" here, which seems to be either bordellos or clubs that act that way?
TIA guys. I promise to reciprocate with a detailed report upon my return.

I saw this on Fay Boo and I tried to find a matching story by googling this lead line but I could not find anything. Anybody else heard about this?
It says: ....."German inadmitted by Migration Colombia after demonstrating intention of tourism for sexual exploitation.
Inconsistencies during the migration interview, itineraries to Cartagena and Medellin and sex toys in their luggage prompted the measure. "
https://www.facebook.com/MigracionColGuarantee this is not his first time being denied entry. In 9 out of 10 of these cases, there is a missing variable. I have seen guys with super-dooper packages of Magnums, entire BlueChew packs, PT-141, cock rings, and dildos the size of my arm, only lacking a P-Diddy baby-oils. Bags ran through the X-ray and let through without questions.
"What are you here for?" — "Visiting a friend."
"Where are you staying?" — "MIxa in Pablano."
And then STFU.
+30 year in this game and that smells like BS.

When you look at Airbnb be wary of any renters who are (solo) women. They are the most restrictive in terms of having guests.

TIA guys. I promise to reciprocate with a detailed report upon my return.Responses (or at least partial answers) to three of your concerns:
1) RISK OF LONG WAIT AT MEDELLIN PASSPORT CONTROL (Fly into another city?) You write: "I'd prefer not to start my vacay with jet lag, as I'm no spring chicken. " In that case you may be in luck. The elderly (anyone over some age, 60? 65?) can go into a "Preferential Line" with virtually no wait.
2) IS June A GOOD MONTH TO GO? FOR WEATHER IN GENERAL? FOR RAIN? To quote one source on local climate: "Medelland, known as the "City of Eternal Spring," has a mild climate year-round with two main rainy seasons (AprilMay, SeptemberNovember) and two drier seasons (DecemberMarch, JulyAugust). Rain typically falls in short, heavy afternoon showers. " In my experience, even during rainy season, rare to have a gloomy, rainy day--per the quote, just briefer, intense storms, most often in the late afternoon but they can interfere with Parque Lleras mongering on occasion.
3) ARE CASAS MORE LIKE BORDELLOS OR CLUBS. Casas are like brothels or bordellos, generally open from late morning into early evening.
Enjoy your visit and we'll keep an eye out for that promised trip report.

I want to give everyone a heads-up about a situation I recently found myself in. Because of my trusting nature, I was caught off guard. I've known this woman for about eight years—she's 25 now—so I felt I had no reason to doubt her. Over the years, I frequently handled financial transactions for her whenever she asked. Other men would send her money via PayPal, Western Union, Venmo, or Zelle, directing the funds to my personal account for me to transfer to her. I've done this for over three years without any issues; however, the problems began about three or four months ago.
About a month and a half ago, a young woman I know began receiving frequent financial transactions ranging from $1,500 to $2,000. These payments arrived two or three times a week. I was amazed by the volume and commended her for her hustle. Since she was using my PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle accounts, I saw multiple men sending $2,000 a night. When I asked her about it, she explained she was spending upwards of eight hours with these clients, which justified the high rate.
The transactions seemed legitimate because the same individuals would send $2,000 multiple times over several days. I had no reason to doubt her; I personally watched her earn over $30,000 in a single month, which I then transferred to her, her mother, and her sister.
The trouble started when these men returned to the United States. They filed "unauthorized transaction" claims, alleging they had been robbed. Because the money was originally sent to my personal accounts, I was left "holding the bag. " My accounts at PayPal, Venmo, and Bank of America were immediately frozen, leaving me with over $40,000 in total delinquency.
I had to hire an aggressive lawyer to fight the banks. We argued that this couldn't be fraud; if it were a mistake or a robbery, any rational person would have blocked their card or issued a stop-payment immediately. Instead, these men waited two or three weeks until they were back in the States to claim their accounts were hacked.
Once my lawyer submitted screenshots and location data proving these men were physically in Colombia when they authorized the payments, the financial institutions finally released my funds. It was clear these men had "squandered" thousands of dollars and filed false claims to hide the spending from their wives or girlfriends. Given the circumstances and what I have experienced, I want to make it clear that the majority of the individuals claiming to have been robbed are East Indian men with traditional names—such as Patel, Chakra, and Kumar. Despite their claims, they spent an incredible amount of money on this young woman over the course of a month. Furthermore, they waited until they returned to the United States before reporting that any robbery had occurred.
My advice: Never facilitate financial transactions for anyone in Colombia under any circumstances. It can be detrimental to your financial standing and your well-being. I escaped "without a scratch" only because of my attorney, but it was a massive risk. Stay safe out there. PN.

I can't verify if these men were drugged, if she scanned their thumbs while they were high, or exactly what made them spend $2,000 a night with this young woman—but I'm telling you, it happened. They sent money to my account on multiple occasions. I don't know her methods, but the transactions were real.
If you're going to be partying or getting high with women in Colombia, please protect your financial well-being. Do not let your guard down. Throughout February and March, I transferred money for her without issue, and she was receiving $8,000 to $10,000 a week. Whether she was getting clients intoxicated and using FaceID or thumbprints, the risk is real.
By the time you return to the USA And claim you were robbed, geotracking will show you were physically there, making it nearly impossible to get your money back—especially once you've sent payments to someone else's Zelle. Don't let your guard down. " For the record, I can personally verify this because I've seen it with my own eyes. This girl is building a three-story, six-bedroom home that is nearly complete. I am unsure of the total cost or the source of her funding, but the finishing touches are currently being applied. Based on what I've seen, the house is more than 90% finished, and I can only imagine what it took to get this project done. " Stay safe. PN.

Rather than accepting that you made a mistake and contacting the local authorities here in Colombia, you waited until you returned to the USA to make fraudulent claims. Because I'm the third party involved, I actually know your name, your ethnicity, and every personal detail about you. Imagine if I were just some psychopathic fool willing to post my financial records online to reveal the names of the guys sending large sums of money to this girl—or those allowing her to drug and rob them, using their fingerprint or Face ID to access their accounts.
It makes no sense to blame the person who had no knowledge of what was happening other than transferring money for a friend (or someone I thought was a friend). I now have your information and her information, yet you are still out tens of thousands of dollars."
In today's digital age, things move fast. Unfortunately, men often learn hard lessons the hard way, and today's youth—or inexperienced men—will pay a significantly higher price than men of the past.
If you allow someone to drug you, rob you, and access your bank account through facial recognition or fingerprint ID, you are in serious trouble. Do not blame the messenger when you were the one willing to listen to the message. If you know your financial access is tied to your phone, you should hide it as carefully as you would your cash or credit cards.
Don't wait until you are partying with these young women and they rob you of tens of thousands of dollars to return to America and proclaim you were a victim of fraud. In reality, you were partying, doing drugs, and letting your guard down—and it cost you everything.

For the record, I have known this young lady personally for over eight years. I possess copies of her passport, her mother's passport, and her sister's passport. When I reported the situation to my attorney, I provided all of their names, phone numbers, and passport details. I did not just provide information on the individuals making fraudulent claims; I provided comprehensive details for the young lady and her family members.
My attorney submitted this information to the institutions holding my accounts in delinquency. Once that data was provided, my accounts were finally unfrozen.
One thing I can testify to regarding the young lady and her family is that they have not changed their phone numbers. Whether this is due to stupidity or boldness, I cannot say; however, I can confirm their numbers remain active in my WhatsApp contacts. I have their address and all of their personal information. It is possible the Colombian authorities and the banking institutions are waiting for the right moment to act—perhaps to seize the house she is currently building—but I have provided all the necessary documentation required to identify exactly to whom I was transferring money. Wondering if any of you have lived in Medellin for a year or so, then decided to return? What did you get tired of?Last year I moved from Manizales Colombia to Medellin because I prefer the warmer weather of Medellin and the much more diverse restaurant scene. I lasted three months and moved back to Manizales. Now I go to Medellin for few days a month. The reason I left Medellin was primarily the horrible filth, garbage, homeless and druggies lying in the streets. Yes there are areas of Medellin that don't have this problem but the majority of Medellin is a mess. I didn't work my ass off to retire and live amongst that scene. I was in Laureles just last week and watched a guy take a shit on the sidewalk in broad daylight. The streets of Manizales are spotless compared to most of Medellin and there are few homeless and druggies lying around with the exception of a very small area of El Centro. That said, I do enjoy medellin in small doses but I would NEVER live there again. Just my dos centavos.

This is Colombia where life is cheap, cartels fronting multi-million dollar building projects, money laundering, cheap pussy, dr*gs everywhere and too easy getting into serious problems where the only way out is either fleeing the country or in a body bag.
Why anyone would put themselves into this position is beyond belief, IMHO.

I did get all of the money back eventually though.
Thankfully I had the piece of mind to go to the Federal Police and get a full report on the incident. This made things much easier when I reported the fraudulent activity and provided justification.
Knowing the group that you are speaking of, I can see these gentlemen knowingly paying a large amount under the belief that they could report the charges to their credit card company or bank and get out of it. Unfortunately they were unable to in this case. And if no police report then they have little recourse.

I've known this woman for about eight yearsshe's 25 nowso I felt I had no reason to doubt her.
When I asked her about it, she explained she was spending upwards of eight hours with these clients, which justified the high rate.Holy fuck brother!
Been reading your posts a long time and you always had good intel. What the fuck are you doing? C'Mon. You're better than this. It's 100% this girl is drugging and robbing assholes and you could be making yourself an accomplice to a crime in a foreign nation. Her pussy can't be worth the risk you're taking. That much money in Colombia on a consistent basis is a fucking fortune. You can do all night with a 10 for 300 $ easy. No one is doing 2000 $ USD night after night.
But most importantly, thank you for sharing and keeping us updated on possible dangers. The true mongers appreciate that, and be safe and be careful. Hopefully nothing more comes of that.

I was in Medellin back in February, and hooked up with 4 pros from Tinder. TigerMuskie's positive report about chicas on pasionprepagos inspired me, so I did an incall with 1 pro from that site as well. I met and got numbers from a few chicas in Parque Lleras (but didn't session with any.) And I had some dates with a non-pro that I met on Tinder.
The many pros I talked to from Tinder, and the few from Parque Lleras, mostly quoted me between 400 k and 500 k, usually for just 1 hour with 1 pop. Sometimes CBJ, sometimes BBBJ. A few wanted even more money than that as a starting point, while others said that it would cost more for the things I wanted to negotiate. But fortunately, there were enough chicas willing to negotiate for the price range and services I was looking for: roughly 400 k for 2 hours with 2 pops and BBBJ at my hotel (and I paid for their ubers).
Chica #1 - 26 yo, typical Medellin bimbo looks (pretty face, light skin, long dark hair, fake lips) with big fake tits, and a huge bouncy instagram-worthy booty. Looked like a BBL, but surprisingly was all natural. Nice personality, although the sex was a little cold, but her face and banging body made up for it. Did her two nights in a row, before she left town for the rest of the week on a family vacation. 400 k.
Chica #2 - 19 yo, thicc, short, tan skin, and cute. Somewhat cold personality, but enthusiastic sex. Showed me how she liked to be fingered until I made her cum, and we gave each other massages. Insisted on getting paid before instead of after. Did her one night. 350 k.
Chica #3 - 19 yo, braces, petite body, good-sized tits for her frame, and a nice little booty on her. Dark skin, looked like a mix of Indigenous and African roots. She also had a somewhat cold personality, but gave enthusiastic sex. When I paid her at the end, I gave her the fresh crisp bills I had pulled from the ATM earlier that day. She started inspecting them, so I joked that they were counterfeit bills and that's what I do for a living and why I came to Medellin. She half believed me and kept inspecting them, LOL. Did her one night. 400 k.
Chica #4 - 20 yo, another thicc cutie, light skin, pretty and sweet, nice tits and ass. Awesome personality, really clicked with this one. The first round was with condom. As we were starting the second round after some pillow talk, I was rubbing the head of my cock against her pussy lips and clit, and then she just pulled me inside her, no condom. Neither of us said anything about it, we just went right into bareback sex. I love it when it goes down like that! When I was ready to cum, I asked her if she wanted me to finish inside her or outside, and she said outside. I had her come over again on the last day of my trip, we did it bare again for both rounds, and then we had lunch together at a nearby cafe. We had agreed on 400 k, and I tipped her an extra 50 k for letting me hit it raw.
Chica #5 (pasionprepagos) - 25 yo, tan skin, blonde hair, fake bimbo body with great tits and ass. Wild sex. Incall for 90 minutes with BBBJ, 2 rounds and a very good massage. 470 k.
During this trip I had intended to check out some casas, but didn't end up doing that, because I had so many Tinder chicas blowing up my whatsapp who I wanted to try out. Based on the casa prices I've seen talked about on here, I think I was getting comparable prices with my outcall chicas (when you consider the amount of time and the addition of BBBJ.) Still, I would like to try out the Medellin casas scene, so I might go for it on my next visit.
I also had intended to hook up again with the fun Venezuelan MILF that I met in Centro last year, but unfortunately didn't get any responses from her when I messaged her. Back in December, I had told her that I'd be coming to Medellin in a few months, and she told me she'd be waiting for me. But when I arrived in February, my messages didn't even get read. I wonder if she lost her phone number, or if she went back to Venezuela, or something else happened. Big sad.
I'm coming back to Medellin next week, looking forward to seeing some of these chicas again, as well as the non-pro I had some dates with who is ready to fuck now. Might follow up this report with some more info from my experiences back in February. And anything noteworthy that comes from this next trip. Stay safe and have fun everyone! Anyone else in Medellin next week?

I had to hire an aggressive lawyer to fight the banks.
My advice: Never facilitate financial transactions for anyone in Colombia under any circumstances. It can be detrimental to your financial standing and your well-being. I escaped "without a scratch" only because of my attorney, but it was a massive risk. You always post about all your street knowledge yet now you mention your "trusting nature". Those do not mix. The length of time knowing someone never equates to trust. Trust is earned by deeds not given by time. You were a money middle man and could not figure this out? Two things are real tip offs. Repeated money movements and amounts that are very large for "simple girls" in a relatively poor country. Ding ding ding no bells went off?
You did not escape without a scratch. You had and believe you still do a lot of stress and unhappiness about it. Your time spent of this was hardly "without a scratch". All aggressive lawyers are not cheap anywhere on the planet. Care to share the cost you incurred for the lawyer?
There was about 50 officers out there, it was pouring rain off and on and still there was girls everywhere. I would go there every night. I had a girl with the best DD tits I have seen in my life. I posted more but it got deleted by mistake so not motivate to text more. But take my word parque Lleras was fiyah.

My family keeps a very aggressive lawyer on retainer at all times, and it was he who made me aware that the situation was an easy fix. He explained that since the individual had sent money to my account more than once, the problem could be repaired without issue. Once I spoke to him, I had no further worries. This attorney has worked for us for many years, and his word is his bond; he has always been truthful with my family. While I won't say he's won every single case for every family member, he has won the vast majority of them. Because we keep him on retainer, resolving this issue was actually free. PN.

This is really strange but a gal that I have banging from Medellin has arrived in the states. I have her instagram and showed her in New Jersey.
I paid 400 k in Colombia do you think I can get that here? You can't possibly be serious. She will want a minimum of $500. Usd for a lousy hour.

To be fair I've seen this in Chicago. So what, who cares, I've seen it in 20 different countries but we are comparing cities in Colombia. This is about Colombia and has ZERO to do with any city in the USA.

It's because I rely on them and their skillset.
This young lady has done many good deeds for me over the years. As I've said, I have her passport, her cédula, and even her mother's and sister's passports. I considered her a true friend. After eight years, if we are still calling each other, it's because she has proven her value and done some pretty great things for me. PN.

Have you been curious about asking those guys why they paid that much or what they paid for?, or just let them know they were overcharged LOL! JK, I know most of my desi acquaintances pay for the whole night usually. Here's the thing: this young lady has been receiving PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle deposits of $500 twice a week for over three years. Before we jump to the conclusion that $2,000 in payments is 'weird,' you have to consider that she was receiving $500 twice a week from several repeat clients for a long time. In fact, those same people were still sending her money up until I stopped helping her with the transfers—which was only after these new people claimed they were 'fraudulently robbed. ' I had no reason to doubt she was actually working and providing a service; after all, why would the same three or four people continuously send her money two or three times a week for over three years? PN.

One thing about me is that I've never been interested in "watching someone else's pocket. " I don't care what they have or how much they spend; that's their business. Everyone has a different level of comfort. For example, I paid $15,000 cash for dental implants in Colombia and was thrilled with the work, whereas I was quoted nearly $68,000 for the same labor and cosmetic dentistry in the United States.
With that in mind, seeing someone spend $2,000 a night partying with people they've never met doesn't strike me as weird at all. I've seen people spend money recklessly my entire life. So, when someone comes to Colombia and starts partying out of the blue, it might be wasteful, but it isn't a "red flag" to me. Hearing that clients were paying her $2,000 a night didn't alert me to a potential robbery or fraud; I've seen men spend more money on far less. It isn't my place to tell people to be frugal. Nothing about the situation made me feel like I shouldn't help her. In fact, over the last eight years, I've seen men consistently send her $500 payments via Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle—averaging at least $1,500 a week for the last three years straight.
I suppose the four or five clients sending her $500 multiple times a week are victims too. Apparently, they just haven't reported the fact that $500 has been vanishing from their bank accounts weekly for three years straight. Make it make sense! PN.

Yup, exactly. I have met many normal women in various countries on Tinder and the Cupid sites. Some of these have turned into relationships. In Medellin, my experience is about 50% of the women on Tinder are pros, and the other 50% are non-pros. On ColombiaCupid, there's a much higher ratio of non-pros (but also a very high ratio of catfish / scam accounts).

I saw her profile on Seeking in the Medellin / Colombia area on Seeking and it showed her location as the United States. I sent her a message on Seeking and she messaged me on WhatsApp. She wants to meet. I paid 400 k in Colombia do you think I can get that here? She probably hit the jackpot, a couple of girls have told me that it is their dream to get a US tourist visa.

In my experience I'd say 80-90% of women on Tinder are looking for P4P, although they rarely ask for it openly (usually need some gift or help, or birthday is later that week kkk). If under 25 they were surely 'hoping' to work. If 25-30 they were probably semi-pro. If above 30 (which could still be less than half your age if 60+) then they may have been looking for a different relationship. At the end of the day, they will all want some form of 'sponsorship' or very regular support. That is the case of dating, even in the USA If the woman is much younger than you and more attractive. And I'm personally fine with it. It's much cheaper than marriage!

Met several 26 to 29 but just not idea matchl. Met many from 30 to 44. No more 38+ as they get way to possive instantly. Currently dating a 33 yo spinner with a great job. My question what dating app do you think regular woman use in Colombia? CC is lame and fake company generated profile to get you to buy a membership. I was meeting 2 to 3 women a week. Just saying there are plenty of normal girls too.
Yes I get lots of P4P hits too. But honestly not that interested. I am debating about getting a sugar baby who isn't meet tourists.
She probably hit the jackpot, a couple of girls have told me that it is their dream to get a US tourist visa. That's what it is. She does not speak any English. I have known her for almost 3 years. She told me back then that she had a Visa and sent a screenshot but It never clicked with me. I had so many other women up there I forgot.
She's close to me but at the end of her visit. I have looked at all of videos and pics I took of her. I will definitely have her come and see me. It's pure GFE and I will take her to all of beaches that she wants including the nude ones!
First, thanks to all the posters of this forum who made this trip possible and memorable.
Travel: I used COPA and was lucky to book the flight before the war and higher price due to it.
Lodging: After considering many options I opted to stay at Haven Hotel. I also looked a few Air b&b but opted for Haven due to its location and Most importantly for the security they have in place. I booked a 2 room suite as I was travelling with friend. I booked it as 4 people stay and was not charged extra fee for visitors, but we only brought 1 guest each, daily. Haven also have decent breakfast which was included.
Safety: We stayed in El-Poblado neighborhood and did not feel any issues, there was good police and security presence through out the day.
Food: Not too much to write about, although there is Seafood restaurant that we loved and had excellent food.
Parque Lleras: We sat at on of the bars end of the entrance and had good view. This was our main venue for every night. My friend did not want to go to any clubs or strip clubs. First 3 nights the ratio of Girls vs Guys was 3-1 but around the weekend it gotten worse. I think it was due to Good Friday. On the weekend the security guys were too active, as soon as we tried to talk to girls they will come and ask to keep on moving, WhatsApp exchange worked. Police was there and saw them checking IDs of few girls but they were not bothering tourists. The security had more issues then police though.
Going rate: Almost everyone was asking 400 M almost $100. We did not negotiate too much as well, because in my experience too much of lowballing tend to get not great service. They also asking about $300 for night. 1 girl refused for BBJ, 2 had no issues and 1 asked additional 100 M.
Spa: Went to Angels Spa, there were only 2 girls and both were busy so no luck there.
Escort: I tried contacting "La Celestins" got no response via WhatsApp and Telegraph.
Will I return, yes I would love to, but I will make sure it is not close to Good Friday.

What were you thinking? Probably with the wrong head. Last thing you want is to be investigated by FISERV and get hit with Civil Asset forfiture and possible criminal charges for money laundering or pimping / sex trafficking. This is no joke man. You got lucky.
It is possible the Colombian authorities and the banking institutions are waiting for the right moment to actperhaps to seize the house she is currently buildingbut I have provided all the necessary documentation required to identify exactly to whom I was transferring money. PN.
Lots of police presence. They just doing there job. Stop you if the see exchanging of numbers, any interaction that seems like soliciting. Carry passport in your phone. Non Colombians they will ask for that. If they ask you what did the girl say to you. Think of anything innocent that doesn't involve soliciting. Calle 10 and Lleras Park packed. Club Glow, and club next to it packed. Gusto was not so packed. Got into there free. Its normally if my math is right 20 mil entrance. Other clubs 10 mil. Saw my gusto girl outside gusto 2 days ago. Man she has not stop texting me. I started thinking damn my dick was that good. Then she revealed she loved the way I ate pussy. I had mix feelings on that one LOL. Saw three distinguished black girls. My gusto was talking to a client but kept eyeing me. One of those girls ask for 750 an hour. Who is spoiling these girls. I hit 2 girls so far. 250 and $3. Art of buy nice cheap gifts. The $3 girl was a surprise 10/10. On the sex. We did it all. Shower together, bareback everything, passionate. Splash in her mouth. 250 was condom, no oral though. Great tits, nice slim body, beautiful tits. Could really ride. Very creative there. Pollo Negro I could live here with you. Laureles is a great neighborhood. Colombia is great. Lleras has really made me think Brazil or Colombia. I just love our Brazilians are so loving towards you. Today might be the day for a threesome or tomorrow. I have not gone crazy trying to get 3 girls a day. I guess after Sunday. Still feeling out the prices. With stocks booming I really have cash to splurge. Hard to get the tightness out of you. So far my conclusion on Colombia 5 stars but for cheapy like me. Lets keep the offers to chicas down a bit.
I could sure be wrong. I was there in October and thought it said 65.Maybe they changed it since then, because last month the sign said 62+.
I stopped by plaza Botero during my Medellin visit but there was so many damn people and sketchy in parts that all I did was walk around the sculptures for a few minutes and walked down Carabobo and back up to conejitas. But we were so intimidated and paranoid we noped out after a while.
Can someone help me "get it" so I can actually know what to do when I go back?
For one, what area does "El Centro" actually refer to, that has never been made clear to me. Is there any specific days and areas to look out for freelancers other than night time? I think I went a Saturday evening and it was so many people it took our Uber 30 minutes just to clear the street in front of conejitas. And lastly is it safe to explore south of Grieff? My Uber went north and drove thro that sketchy ass druggie area so we know not to go north.

For me, I took the advice of others and ventured there only during daytime hours. So I took the Metro to the stop next to all the statues where you've already been and checked them out for a bit since it is a tourist attraction. Then with my phone in my pocket and my hand inside it securing it, I took a stroll around all the adjacent streets and saw all the freelancers hanging out. This was definitely the freelancer area of Centro but I had no intention of pulling there. It was just part of another mongering tourist element just to check it out and not more. Yes it was crowded and chaotic but that also means it was fairly safe during the daytime since there were so many regular locals around. From a mongering perspective it's just too darn crowded as too many locals were everywhere near all the freelancers anyway so there's absolutely no privacy to have any chitchats with the girls anyways.
From that area I actually walked away from this busy area back to the main road where the Metro line is and walked about 10 minutes up to New Life casa which is a much better area in my opinion and did my session there. So for me the freelancer part of Centro was more of a touristy thing since I had no intention of pulling there. 95% of the girls there were fat or ugly anyway. As long as I kept my phone and cash secured and walked through that area without stopping, there were no issues.

Most posts (including yours) state to blend in and keep a low profile and no jewelry. Spending $2000 USD in most places in Colombia would not be easy.If you never tell anyone you're carrying cash, who would ever know? The day I paid my dentist for my implants, he actually closed his office, called a security guard, and had the guard escort him to the bank to deposit the money I'd given him. Although the entire procedure took approximately eight months, he was paid in full, in cash, all at once.
I do very well in my line of work. As a six-figure earner, I have never been careless with my finances; I've made smart investments that have yielded great returns. Consequently, I avoid going anywhere I shouldn't, and I try to stay away from unfamiliar areas.
I won't claim that no one has ever taken advantage of me—that would be a lie—but now that I have a better understanding of Medellin, I know which areas to visit and which to avoid. I also agree with your point: I make it a rule never to carry more than 2 million pesos in cash. It's a far cry from eight years ago, when I used to walk around with $15,000 in my pocket. PN.

I used to enjoy meandering around El Centro in the afternoon, more for a little seedy visual titillation than any real hope of finding the oft touted here on ISG "diamond in the rough". Seems "One man's diamond is another man's coal. " Is that a proverb?
For chica sightseeing purposes I would define El Centro into three slightly distinct subareas:
1. Plaza Botero itself along with the Avenida Carabobo pedestrian approach to the Plaze by the church between Calles 51 and 52 (the Plaza well worth visiting for itself: the Botero Statues, the Museo de Antioqui, the Palacio de la Cultura Rafael Uribe). It's mostly populated with tourists and locals seeing the sights, but with a sprinkling of working girls here and there in the plaza or lingering on the short pedestrian street leading to it along side the church. Some ISG posters have also reported success picking up (on a P4P basis) the chica vendors selling drinks and snacks in and about the Plaza.
2. Carrera 53 between Calles 51 and 52, along with the short blocks on Calles 51 and 52 between the Plaza / Avenida Carabobo and Carrera 53, with the action centered on the corner of Carrera 53 and Calle 51. This is by far the seediest stretch of El Centro, quite crowded with vehicles and pedestrians, a fair number of drunks / druggies / beggars, numerous (mostly scuzzy) working girls on the street, in door ways, and seated in the open to the street bars that line the street. As I recall, the heaviest concentration of transvestites loiter on the Calle 51/52 short blocks and around the small church. Thiis subarea is the least comfortable of the three for scouting chicas if you are on the squeamish side.
3. Avenida de Grieff / Raudal Corner: Primarily the far side of Avenida de Grieff across from Plaza Botero as it extends fromthe Hotel Nutibara to the Raudal Corner at Avenida de Grieff and Carrera 54 Ccuta. Here I would also include the side streets between Grieff and Calle 54 (a block each of Carreras 54,53, 52 A and Avenida Carabobo). On these streets you won't find many street walkers, but there are a number of bars wide open to the sidewalk with working girls waiting inside as well as several nightclubs, notably Conejitos Grill, Taberna Hilton, and Grill Occidental but also a number of other more hole-in-the-wall, cellar joints (most all with at least some afternoon activity). I've always found this area (on Avenida de Grieff itself and the side streets between there and Calle 54) perfectly comfortable for walking about during daytime and (unwisely perhaps) even on a few occasions at night. Just a mix of locals going about their business and a fair number of fruit and other street vendors on some blocks, but perhaps not the place for someone who doesn't feel reasonably streetwise.
Despite numerous visits to the El Centro streetwalking scene, I have only sessioned with a street chica there once and that was a disappointment. That said, I have found the rare gem of a keeper at the El Centro night clubs, especially Barra Ejecutiva, but that too seems to have declined in quality over the past year or so.

I stopped by plaza Botero during my Medellin visit but there was so many damn people and sketchy in parts that all I did was walk around the sculptures for a few minutes and walked down Carabobo and back up to conejitas. But we were so intimidated and paranoid we noped out after a while.Paranoid about what? Nobody is paying attention to you and neither do they give a shit about you being there.
Is there any specific days and areas to look out for freelancers other than night time?Anytime is the right time. Although I find it best after dark. After about 1 am you are pretty much wasting your time though. The place (Degrieff) is thinning out by then. Botero goes down to nothing way before that. So I will say from noon to midnight for the entire area.
And lastly is it safe to explore south of Grieff? There is nothing there to explore unless you just like walking around on empty streets.
I have posted this in Cartagena thread as well, thought ill post this here. After reading the reports, I am torn between going to Cartagena or Medellin. Brothels, strip clubs, etc probably are the same in both places but what I want to evaluate from safety perspective is walking down old city in Cartagena and pickup some cuties at night or doing the same in Parque ill. In Medellin. Unfortunately, Medellin has been in news for lots of tourist mishaps. Can the experts here suggest where to go for my upcoming trip?
I used to enjoy meandering around El Centro in the afternoon, more for a little seedy visual titillation than any real hope of finding the oft touted here on ISG "diamond in the rough". Seems "One man's diamond is another man's coal. " Is that a proverb?

When I would go, El Centro was just at night to the clubs. There was Barra Ejecutiva, and one next to it that didn't make it through Covid. Just a couple blocks away you have the Grille and a couple others. In years past you would have attractive girls come in from Cali, Pereira, Manizales, etc. For a few weeks to make some $$ but those days seem to have passed, or they just go to Fase II.
Angeles, energy, new life. Thumbs down. Conjeitas, nueva grill, centro thumbs down. Tinder definitely a winner. Girlfriend experience, cum in the mouth without upcharge. Lleras Park definitely a winner even with police and security presence. Paid 400 k plus transport for lleras Park chica. 7 status I think, head game was sick. I gave her a dick beat down and she took it with pleasure. Previous girl was big surprise. She is going to be part 1 of the threesome tonight. Amazing girl friendly skills. Laureles love the neighborhood. Don't hesitate to come to Colombia. Wonderful place. Lleras Park is way better than Sosua.
Better than Sosúa. You really set the bar low.

Since I only have 5 days left. I decided to splurge. This girl was quite patient with my many questions and request. Tinder and WhatsApp pic was okay so I decided to reward her 400 k. Shortly after I arranged the appointment. Gusto750 k girl decided to come down to the 400 k. I really want this girl she's my first choice. But I am a man of my word so kept the appointment with tinder. Very timely girl. Arrived with the best body so far. After giving her a massage she let me take a few photos. I am tempted to share. Unfortunately for my standards the performance wasn't quite up to my standards. There was no passionate kissing and no lustful kind of sex. She was a willing dick sucker. We showered together. The backshot, she made movements like she was preserving the pussy for more clients. Pussy was tight, she was good with affectionate touches. I nutted on titties after 1 hour 30 minutes. Then had her give me a back massage cause I have had some issues there. It was a very good thorough massage. Her body and massage made it worth 400 k. Head wasn't bad either. Gusto750 wants it tonight. But I think I need recovery time. I mentally fucked her so I think she's got the cravings. Stay tune.

I found Tinder to have gotten sketchy since 2021 or so. Watch your dinks!
Actually the visitor cannot leave without the person of the apartment. Rule is you come down together. While being drugged does happen. I think its over hyped, even violence against tourist. I walked from new life to Centro, call me crazy or using my skin color to my advantage, but I felt more startle than afraid. By the way early years at Sosua I was tittie drugged and removed of my thousand dollar chain. So thanks for the reminder.

I rarely post anymore, but I do read what's on here from time to time. I saw the writing on the wall back in 2021 when the influx of gringos started coming in more than ever before. It didn't affect me as I don't hang out in the Poblado / Laureles areas. The ever-increasing prices and restrictions in terms of chicas and accommodations didn't affect me either as I bought my own place up north away gringos a few years back. My style is different than most posters here since I like to drink, do the pink, and party with the chicas. Don't do what I do, but I will not stop what I love to do. Tussi is best with the pussy in a jacuzzi hehe. A girl made a custom shirt that said "No Tussi, No Pussy". I said, not on my watch haha.
My rotation of chicas change over time, but mostly I get references from the girls I already know. It's a hit or miss and when I hit it's usually a home run, but when I miss it's a big swing into thin air. I don't compromise with my demands as I want no condom sex and blowjob and time of at least 2 hours or more. I pay 200-250 k each girl and they stay for hours as I like to party and they do as well obvio hehe. Most of the time, I have to kick them out, so I can recover before my next adventure. If it's a nighttime date, and I'm down to go hard, we'll party till the sun comes out and even into the afternoon, I'm like gawdamn, at that time I had to tap out. These are not hard core pros, as they do not yet know their worth, and enjoy making extra money while going to school or working a minimum wage job.
In a way, I end up paying about 300 k a girl if you include the partying costs (tussi / alcohol) since I can't fuck a girl unless we party it up first. That for me makes it more fun and that's how I usually get no condom and 2 pops without even asking.
For reference, I'm a Chino, in my 40's, but look like in my 30's so I don't blend in physically speaking. But I speak fluent Spanish, understand and respect the culture, and love to hang out in the barrios. I have partied with paisa families out on the local streets of Manrique, Aranjuez, and Castilla, to name a few. I enjoy the barrio party scene, especially during Christmas season, super fun! No gringos to be found, and I still get the X factor looks from locals since I'm the only Asian guy partying up in their barrio. And it's the best and easiest way to meet non-pro hotties as grandmas and grandmamas be introducing me to their granddaughters and grandnieces.
BTW, yes I do know the risks of drinking and partying with chicas, but I don't use any apps or pick them out on the streets, I have my own way of vetting, which isn't perfect, but has worked so far (knock on wood). One of my party friends who does the same thing said we both not going to make it to 50, and I said you probably right haha. I partied enough so far that could fill 2 lifetimes for most people. Tomorrow is not promised, so it's party time! Hehe.

Yes, I am serious. I don't see women who do meets by the "hour."You'll be lucky if she doesn't charge you $1000 here in the states. Why do you think they all craving that tourist visa? To come charge the same prices than in Medellin? LOL. Those who can't get a visa to USA, go to Panama and start charging $200 usd, that's their backup plan. That means paying 400 k cop in Medellin, you've been spoiling them already, and lotta people been telling y'all, since they found out gringos in general are desperate (unspoken truth), thus they can't get away from something they have hard time getting in their home countries. They Know that, and leverage it well. Let's see how it turns out when they build that mall close to Parque l. Maybe the end of that Park.

These are not hard core pros, as they do not yet know their worth, and enjoy making extra money while going to school or working a minimum wage job.I never thought I would find one woman to satisfy my needs and thought I would be living your lifestyle, RR, but yeah, this is how you do it. It is very rare that women in financial need will not be down to fuck for $ even in the USA. I would have been much more aggressive with attractive civilians in Colombia if I were single again.
For reference, I'm a Chino, in my 40's, but look like in my 30's so I don't blend in physically speaking. But I speak fluent Spanish, understand and respect the culture, and love to hang out in the barrios. And it's the best and easiest way to meet non-pro hotties as grandmas and grandmamas be introducing me to their granddaughters and grandnieces.LOL. Yeah, a lot of these Colombian families are fucked up. I have not met a Colombian guy who has not fucked around his wife. The legitimate children are friends with the bastard children which I thought was kind of weird.
Of all my gal's daughter's friends, the hottest one was probably a ballerina. If you like spinners, she was a 10 type for you for sure. Thing is the mom of this kid is fucking bat shit crazy, and she has treated her daughter not like a person but like a cupie doll. The last photo I saw of her she was skin and bones and obviously anorexic. It was a photo that caused me pain.
A lot of people say that we men are preying on these young women. Well, I wish this ballerina had a nice sugar daddy who would take her out, show her a good time, and fatten her up. This whole notion that women are always doing what is best for their kids is something I just don't buy.
So yeah, I definitely could see grandparents pushing their kids to be sugar baby types, and they should. I know Colombian women are famed from their materialism but you should hear what my gal's daughter and friends say. They are teenagers and when I saw some athletic Colombian guys and I joked with them about having them as boyfriends, both were like, "Yeah, we are not interested in them. They have no money. " And I would be shocked if both these girls are not virgins.
So if you leave behind the Colombian hookers and the American conditioning, RR, you and I are proof that men who may not get a second glance from American women can kill it and get the best women Colombia has to offer.

What estrado do you live in?Estrato 4. It's walking distance to metro line and a local mall. I like to hang out in the barrios, but doesn't mean I'll live in one. My apt is always stocked up, close to lots of local bars / restaurants, and comes with a great high rise view of the mountains / buildings. Whenever I walk outside and take a scroll, I don't see any gringos. I can't ask for more. Just imagine Laureles back in 2010.

Ones I befriend them I request their friends and family and once I fuck one of them, it opens the doors for the others. It has worked for me all the time. I've really fucked more than 100 chics from Facebook and I usually only pay them 200 k, more if it's anal. Non pros are the best. You can have that GFE if you choose with them.

You do you, but as a short time visitor I've met very few freelance girls that I'm attracted to who consider 200 k (I. E. $55) in the past 5 years. To be candid, most would be offended as they have regular jobs and spend a lot of money on their upkeep. They also have other guys competing for their attention. I'm a nice guy, but why would they settle? If a girl very willingly goes for 200 k, how many guys are really interested in her? How attractive is she?
Getting to the point, maybe the original poster needs to quickly find a more traditionally attractive girl who takes care of herself, had work done, goes to gym, etc. Good for him. I too have limited time and am willing to pay up for the looks. If the performance matches the looks, then she may become a favorita. On the other hand, there are many guys here that just need a hole. And that can easily be had for 200 k, or much less in Centro. They are quantity over quality. I prefer the reverse... quality over quantity as my time is valuable.
Obviously if you live there and have ample time to build a 'cost effective' rotation things are different. Suerte to all.
I'm a nice guy, but why would they settle? Why is that your concern?
That's the question they should be asking themselves and determining the financial parameters that make sense to them. It's not your job to beg the question for them and raise the bar because you think it makes you look better in their eyes. It just makes you look like a even bigger mark and ruins the equilibrium for everyone else.

Just like when I recently bought my motorcycle. I told dude I would pay $3000 less than he wanted. He said he could not go lower than $2000 less. He could have not settled, but asking saved me $2000. Same when I sold my bike. I moved the price $500 higher than I was willing to take, in order to give someone room to talk me down. So when dude offered me $200 less than what I was asking, it was all good.

You do you, but as a short time visitor I've met very few freelance girls that I'm attracted to who consider 200 k (I. E. $55) in the past 5 years. To be candid, most would be offended During my current visit to Medellin, I am finding quite a few chicas who get offended at offers of even 400 k for anything more than an hour. And many of them are setting their starting price at 500 k and above for just 1 hour.
Fortunately, I have found enough who will give me everything I want for 2 hours in the 350 k to 450 k price range. And one who was happy with 300 k for 2 hours, and another one who is coming over tonight for toda-la-noche for 750 k.
I would be very interested to know where / how one can find good chicas for less than 300 k who aren't Centro crack-hoes. I guess I need to start going to block parties in the hood and meet abuelitas who will introduce me to their granddaughters.

How much for an hour? Any civilian you meet outside of the park or P4P does not think like that. Any time I hear of time limitations it turns me off.
I prefer "non-working" girls who do not think that way. I don't need long visits nor do I desire "toda la noche" with a stranger. So, if you walk into the park you are going to find many girls who quote you prices you deem high.
I really like the park but I don't go there to pull chicas. That's not to say that you can't have a good experience there. But, there's less opportunity to haggle over price than with a civilian.
I said 400 k was just not up to my standards where girls lose all awareness in trying to please me. On my trip, I have paid 250 k ok. $3 us dollars tinder. Blazing. 200 k twice tinder blazing. 3 200 k from Lleras park leche papi poco dinero scams. Gusto girl twice 300 k blazing. 2 Lleras park 400 k for 2 hrs blazing. So there's your science. Now its time to go home. I am a happy man.

I was wasting time before my flight. So I checked out Barra Ejecutiva maybe misspelled. But it was okay lots of girls in there. Some of quality, some not. Went to Lleras park to conclude my trip. Had a fabulous session with Gusto girl earlier and at 61 the norm is one session unfortunately. Glow was fiyah. The girls in there are hot. I mean hot. Its more consistent than Gusto.
Started talking to this FB chica on WhatsApp to arrange all night fun. We agreed on 600.000 COL+taxi for 9 pm to 7 am, and all the things I wanted to do, which she happily agreed. She arrives on time as planned. We re-confirm the terms and comes the surprise; she expected 600 USD. We went back to our WhatsApp discussions; turns out indeed, the translation had turned 600 dollars. Luckily, she agreed to do 350.000 for a couple of hours of stay plus the 25.000 COL I had already paid for taxi. Lesson learned. Don't rely on this-makes-life-easy technology solution. The conversation was flying and WhatsApp was translating spot on except in this most important message.

To be honest, I consider myself lucky to have started coming to MDE over 10 years ago. Wish I did it even sooner. If I was a first time MDE traveler post-2021, it goes without saying my experience and expectations would be totally different and it'll take me much longer to get out the gringo bubble and pricing. Actually, I probably might still be stuck in it and accept it as the status quo. I started venturing out the Poblado bubble back in 2015, so it didn't take me long to go straight into the lion's den (barrios and up North) and I came out stronger and happier.
Yes, Medellin right now is overrun and overrated. It sucks for the people who have known it that way. Unfortunately, it will only get worse. For me though, I'm still having a blast and when I leave and come back, it just gets better and better. I have already put in years of hard work, research, vetting, failures and successes.
Looking back, during my first trip to MDE over 10 years ago, I made many typical rookie mistakes. Most of them at the same time! I never got drugged, but was drunk and high and too dumb to notice shit was stolen. I had my new iPhone and most of my cash stolen within 4 hours of landing, must be a MDE rookie record hehe. All I could do was to laugh it off and learn from it. That was the first and last time I'll let that happen. I still had a great and memorable short term trip, capping off partying with a bunch of Mansion girls at club Fahrenheit when Nicky Jam was doing a special concert at the time when he started revitalizing his career in Medallo. And the rest is history.

Rice rocket, great report and thanks for letting all of us know that Bello, a little town north of Medellin, is now the "cool go to" place.
We will all be checking it out as soon as possible.
Isn't there some walkable area with all the sweet non pro easy going chicas hang out? I forget the name.
To be honest, I consider myself lucky to have started coming to MDE over 10 years ago.
"Live and let live" is an idiom advocating for mutual tolerance, acceptance, and non-interference in the lifestyles, beliefs, and behaviors of others. It encourages focusing on one's own life while allowing others the freedom to live theirs, fostering peaceful coexistence.
That seems to be a good concept to push for on this board.
There is a lot of snide comments when some feel that others are paying too much as if it will change anyone's behavior or that it will affect the behavior of others in the future.
If anything, it might not be the price that they would accept from a short term visitor because I am here for a while.Discussing what one pays, in addition to thoughts on pussy, restaurants, tourist attractions, etc, is what people do on sites like this.
Of course one can pay whatever they want to. Discussion here is simply that, discussion.

Of course one can pay whatever they want to. Discussion here is simply that, discussion. It is one thing to have a civil discussion about prices. It is another thing to call people simps, suckers, idiots, retards, and the like when you disagree on how much you think they should pay as if you are the one who decides what the going rate should be. That type of "discussion" actually discourages others from sharing what they pay.

These forums should be about info sharing only, not on political views nor pushing their own personalities and opinions. Just report intel and each of us are capable of using it the way it suits our individual travelling and mongering styles.

I forget the name. That is where a lot of the girls live but for most mongers it is not the place that you want to hang out unless you want to be robbed. They will be on social media and they will travel to you. Most of the girls on social media are from Bello. That is how it usually works.

I would be very interested to know where / how one can find good chicas for less than 300 k who aren't Centro crack-hoes. I guess I need to start going to block parties in the hood and meet abuelitas who will introduce me to their granddaughters.Go to some of the massage places. Those girls get a couple hundred K for extras, so are more reasonable. Try out the various girls you like (different days) and the ones who you like and click with, get their WhatsApp number and ask them out. Free dinner, good time, they are more likely to be happy with $300 k tip. Even a hard working girl likes a nice night out.
I started venturing out the Poblado bubble back in 2015, so it didn't take me long to go straight into the lion's den (barrios and up North) and I came out stronger and happier.I am also nowadays hanging out in Bello when I visit MDE, though I still stay in Centro. Never again in Laureles, its too loud and attracts the kind of people from home who I don't want to run into.
But yet to find any strip clubs or casas in Bello, any intel would really help.

Seems like 80% or so of the chicas that came there to mingle were from Bello. Any time I mentioned coming out to Bello they always discouraged me for safety reasons.

Any time I mentioned coming out to Bello they always discouraged me for safety reasons.I second this as I recall one past favourite girl I met at the Mansion told me the same thing that Bello is not a place where foreigners should visit as there is a high risk of kidnappings there.
A lot of price discussions lately. I guess there is something for everyone. One can pay 50 k in el centro, 80-130 k in the casas, and on dating sites anything between 250 k and open end I guess.
Saying that, would you experienced guys say that 450 k, bareback, for a young stunning 10 is reasonable? That's what I'm paying, problem is I like here a lot and going to see her regularly. Haggling failed and well going to cry later, back home haha.

To whoever suggested I check out Carulla: I really appreciate it. That store had everything I was looking for! I finally found the sweet potatoes I needed and even actual yellow lemons. That information was a godsend; thank you so very much.
When you live in Medellin, it's easy to get wrapped up in how beautiful the women are; the culture and the overall experience are exceptional. Being able to traverse the city from one end to the other is amazing. But for me, the best part of living in 'Medallo' right now is the balance: waking up to cook a Southern meal—complete with potato salad, a rack of ribs, and sweet potato pie—and enjoying it alongside the incredible company here. This experience is unbelievable; I absolutely love this place. PN.
