I monger in the Dominican Republic and Thailand. I have been reading about Ecuador as a hot retirement location. I also learned that prostution is legal in Ecuador. I have read some posts (RTFB) and it seems that $20 for 15 minutes is the Norm. So I have a few questions.

Is long time available in Quito? How much should you expect to pay for overnight? The wham-bam-thank-you-mam is not really my thing

Do you need a Visa to visit Ecuador with a US passpost?

Is their hotels with girls (like Blackbeards in the DR)?

You can get 30 or more mins. in a chongo for US$8 if you do not mind the low-end places. Check the Quito List. You do not need a visa with a U.S. passport for a visit, but read the tourist requirements if you plan to make multiple trips in one year.

Arrived in Quito last night and went almost immediately to Akershuz because it’s walking distance from my hostel.

There were no real stunners working there but some were attractive enough. Both the sessions I had were enjoyable and not rushed. The girls seem to enjoy their work. I think this is a decent place and it’s certainly convenient if you are staying in Mariscal.

Went to Café Rojo today. It’s still the happiest place on earth. Cudos to whoever’s running it.

Could somebody say to me how and where is possible to obtain the LONG time in ecuador?

I have only understood that it is possible(but the scene is almost all inside "clubs").

Is it possible to find girls in disco/street obtaining the long time for reasonable prices? (I'm saying if is possible to obtain the same result how in Pattaya, Angels city and so on where you pay the night with illimitated sessions to freelances.)

If it is possible do you know the range of prices(I know that could be difference among girls but one thing is 20-30 EUR and another thing is 100-150 EUR!)

Here's a little something to continue to be a contributing member of the boards.

First time here. Thanks for the maps! I stopped in Akershuz and was pretty impressed with the little setup of the club. I like how they (waiters or girls) are not in your face like central american countries.

It was a busy night and I stopped in at the recommended hour of 8-9 pm. About 10 girls, but only 3 real hotties that were do-able. One short little guy was partying it up with 2 of the chicas, including the best one there in my opinion. Young Brunette with a flawless body, no fake tits. One other girl was very hot but was not making eye contact with anyone, only chatting with another girl. Forget that. Quite a few guys sitting around just looking. Then a party of 6 business men showed up and the men way outnumbered the chicas. I left.

Few days later went out during the day. Guajira appears to be REALLY closed. I mean, you guys posted the address, and the big house there looks deserted. Chains on the gates, and there was plastic wrap around the gate, indicating that it hadn't been opened in a few weeks. Maybe it's a temporary shut down? Looked permanent.

Then looked for La Diosas but stumbled into Body instead. It's pretty easy to find, and was open. Finally! No do-able girls in here, haha. But I did the Columbian anyways. We hit it off, she has a pretty face, jet black short hair, looks way less warn out than most of the girls there, and has a big booty. The big booty is not usually my type but I was tired of walking around. Apparently the daytime price, or maybe off season price, was $15 instead of $20. CBJ although I tried to talk her out of the C. I did a little grab for the hair while we were in doggie and she said "si! " and put my hand back on her head. See, I knew we'd get along! Good attitude. I didn't really take my time and just pounded it home. Gave her a $2 propina.

Today late afternoon I went to Las Diosas on La Nina y Daigo de Almagro. I got the info from the board that entry is 2$, requested was 3$. Well, prices can change. I got a good looking ecuadorian girl from Manta with me. Everything else I saw sitting around there was average I would say. A ficha was 20$, not 15$ as previously mentioned here. The service was not that great, no BJ, but besos included. After a while she turned around and I got nice rear view. Next time I will rather check out some other place.

Just made a quick visit to Quito. I owe you all for the info. You guys have it good here.

Went to 2 clubs while there. First was Touch Me. I had written down the old street number and could not find it easily. saw an old number across the street and knew I must be very close. Then I just looked around and saw a pink entrance with no signs but with a shotgun toting security guard in front. Bingo. Once in saw about 20 chicas sitting down and about 30+ guys just standing around. Thinking to myself wtf??? Used to having the girls come up to talk to you but none of that going on here. stepped out and asked the door man why everyone just standing around. He said didn't know or didn't care as long as they were buying either drinks or fichas, he was good. He gave me the rundown on the selection. went back in, made my pick and was a happy camper. Nice gal, but would have been all business. Then I spoke to here in spanish (fluent gringo) and she changed from business to non stop talk and much better service. great time until the cleanup when she pissed in the rubish bin. wtf? I know this is a cheap place, but can you at least wait until I get out of the room to do something like that.

next night went to club rojo. much better selection IMHO, but lots of fake tits there. Again, spanish got me much much much better service. No reason to go anywhere else.

Also found a few freebies around town while there. just have to be friendly in public places like main plaza or historic district. The street walkers I saw around there were trashy, however I am sure there are some jewels that I did not see.

I believe if you pay the double rate than they shouldn't bother you, but I'm not sure about that.Indeed, if you prefer this kind of hotels you're gonna pay aprox 100 bucks for a double, in Majestic it will be 30 - 40 (depending the longth of your stay) However, if you are a month or more in Quito an apartment is much more comfortable, cheaper and. You can always invite girls.

Also many hotels cater to the tourist crowd. Depending on how long you are going to stay, you can always find great deals. Hostels are always an option and many of them have private rooms and baths. www.Ecuadorexplorer.com has a list of hotels and hostels you can check out.

I basically now look for apartments or apart-hotels. In my opinion, they are more comfortable and a better value for my money. In April I paid $60 a night at the colina suites. Atinea hotel is nice but also around 60 a night. They also have nice suites No matter where you stay you will have a blast.

Now is where things start to take a turn for the worst. I arrive at the shabby looking hotel. They have my reservations but not my online payment. After 20 mins and showing a confirmation of payment. The manager still forces me to pay them what they say I owe and take it up with the online company later. Whatever man just give me a room! My fault I have no plan b, I accept that. So, I change recheck the boards and I'm off.

I arrive at Extisis (sp) about 9pm. Heavy intimidating security. I'm told the entry fee is 24 USD not 17 USD as quoted on the boards. I say hell no then leave. As I'm walking away I ask several guys, was that the right price? They said yes, so I return. I get inside the place is great, lots of hot girls. Even a couple of negras (my fav.) I was told the 24 dollar covers 3 drinks. Now I'm happy again ready to make a friend.

I call over a young pretty negra from Cali, Colombia that was at the bar, she's average height with lots of curves and a huge bunda. We hit it off immediately. Were telling jokes drinking and having a good time. Now I'm ready to move in to close the deal and make this party private in a room. I asked her how much? She told me $120 USD. I'm used to hearing this after coming from Colombia for a week, even though I did flinch. Then she tells me that I have to buy here 2 drinks and pay 40 bucks for the room. So, I'm looking a 200 bucks USD for 1 hour and one leche. I told her that was too rich for my blood and that was a bad deal. I told her I wouldn't pay that much for a piece of ass in the States or anywhere else. I didn't fly 4700k miles to spend 200 bucks USD on some ass, it's counterintuitive. The lowest price she quoted was 90 USD I said goodnight.

Over all awesome place, hot chicas, however over priced, security is too jumpy and intimidating. They asked for my ID and entered me in to a computer. Now I'm part of some sex trade database. GREAT! That's exactly what I need hanging over my head that could pop up at any time in my life.

I hit a few more spots, Kats near the hotel. Girls suck. I asked the waiter for a negra he send over a chick that had to be 50 years old. I bought grandma a drink for her trouble and got the hell out of there. I hit another place down the street, Dolce Vita. Found a chick there she asked me for a 100 bucks USD. I just left. Tax driver brought a girl by my room. Offered here 50 bucks USD. She wanted more. I just said Fu*& it and went to bed solo. I can't believe my wing may was right I should have never left Medellin!

The best thing about Quito is afternoon play. There a lot of places that charge $8, $10, $15, and $20. But you do have to go to the casas. Cafe Rojo has a lot of beautiful women. Be careful though. They will definitely try to tell you a different price and also keep track of the time. One beautiful lady told me it was $100 for the hour. I just laughed. Also some of the women like to take their time in the beginning and then say, "times up".

Guajira is my favorite and Medellin Masajes has a lot of women. Just go past 3:00 PM. Tung's list is priceless.

Also, many of the ladies work at the cheaper casas in the day and than go to the higher end places at night.

La Gata Caliente on 520 Tamayo was also a great place but I'm not sure if they are still open.

Forget about the high end clubs and just do the mid range chongos $20/25. Besides that go to otovalo and kotakachi (buy leather). The food is very good in grinolandia. The sex is on the bottom of the list when it comes to fun in quito.

I don't know if it is close to Quito or Swiss Hotel, but the Hilton Colon is girl friendly.

I did not ask for it, but they have a back door beside the casino and there it is no problem to pass with the girls.

I had never problems.

While I've never brought anyone back to the H. Quito, I've heard it's fine, and it seems as if it would be extremely easy to do. I have also seen a working girl or two hanging around the casino before, so, again, I suspect there would be no problems.


I don't know if it is close to Quito or Swiss Hotel, but the Hilton Colon is girl friendly.

I did not ask for it, but they have a back door beside the casino and there it is no problem to pass with the girls.

I had never problems.

Checked out club 122 earlier. Definitely not in Colombia anymore. Probably about 25-30 guys in there around 17:30 and maybe 7 chicas! I'm now in Quito more than 6 weeks and I can tell that there are some changes.

Most important is that most chongos with prices up tioll now from 8 bucks now have a 10 bucks tarif: 122, Swinsito, Blues, 4033

Swinsito has a new interior but the rooms are still the same. The entree fee here is now 3 dlrs.

VIP International at San Gregrorio also has new interior and there are working now some 15 girls (most from the Ec. Coast but some Colombianas and de Rep Domicana too) There are more rooms now however still without any comfort.

Some 3 weeks ago there was a wapened robbery at Blues at a Saturday evening. Take care!

Do a google search for the british govt. equivalent of our travel.state.gov. I forgot what is it called but they had an excellent update about the current situation. I will use that site from now on over travel.state.gov Do a google search for travel warnings ecuador then click on the british site.

I was chatting with a girl from guayaquil while it was going on and she mentioned there were robberies and looting. The next day or so she said everything was back to normal. Basically crooks will use any opportunity or lull in policing to commit crimes. The same thing happened in LA and New Orleans.

*All of these countries teeter on the brink of disaster. That is why we get the prices we do for PFP. Ecuador can be prone to serious natural disasters as well which would trump any political turmoil.

Quito is no joke when it comes to safety. Macho men might think otherwise

arrived monday morning, with a powerful jetlag, sleep deprived and short-breathed by the altitude, i had to concede on the first night. i knew about the altitude, but the combination was a real killer.

on tuesday, however, i hit the jackpot. my hotel is a few meters away from guajira, and i went there at five pm. place is really nice, it looks a bit like a bar and a living room together. prices confirmed, entry 2, girl 20.

i have been there for a while, trying to get the vibe. after one hour and two beers, i categorised the girls more or less as 'old and chubby, young and chubby, young and good looking'. guess what, type three is the minority.

altogether, my opinion on the whole lot is the following:

quito is worth visiting, definitely. for an european monger, 20 minutes for 20 dollars is an oustanding deal, despite the hit-and-miss constraints. quality is rare, though, excluding karol, services are standard, despite the fact that ecuadorian girls know how to fuck. they take a well endowed man without complaints, and they are specialists in doggy style - they spread their legs, lower their ass and take it all, full power. if you are looking for extras, though, you must pay, and you don't know what you get. besos (gfe) are very rare and unconvincing, anal is generally on offer but bbbj can be tricky - girls are very health conscious, and bare-back activities (including daty) are looked upon with some concern. finding a girl who actually enjoys it is really difficult - these are pro's, and well experienced ones as well.

however, with 100 dollars (approx. 70 euros at the time of writing), you can potentially have 8-9 girls for 15 to 20 minutes each time. potentially does not mean practically. between extra's, drinks, entrance and taxi, i guess you could get 6. anyway back home, for 100 dollars i get maybe two sessions with low-range rld girls. a hell of a difference.

i do not suggest the lower end of the scale, based on the touch-me experience. the place is dirty, the customers also, and the girls can be ill. if you want to go that way, i highly recommend using a condom for everything and refraining from bbbj - the chance to go back home with an unwelcome feeling down below is high, and quite frankly it is not worth it. the price differential is 10 dollars between good and very bad - just a no-brainer imho.

also at the high end, it remains a hit or miss. karol was luck, but no standard. girls quality, at least as body, is directly proportional to price, with some exception.

my advice is the following, with in mind foreigners coming from us or europe:

1. book a hotel in the vicinity of the action. it will save you some (very cheap) taxi ride and especially time - traffic in quito is no joke. you will also be in a better position to invite the girl of your choice to come to your hotel. if you do your homework (one basic thing any monger must be good at), you will get yourself a nice spot, surrounded by options and safe.

2. do not drink too much in these places and in general. booze is cheap, and they push you to drink, but they will take profit of you, both the bar and the girls. besides, do not forget you are at 2800 meters above sea level - even after a few days, performances will be impaired v. what you are used to (unless you are a mountain person yourself), and alcohol does not help. i am myself a reasonable beer drinker, with 50-100 cc a day, but in quito one beer would have a noticeable impact. so, if you want to get wasted, mind your money and, in general, do not count too much on high performances. also remember that alcohol reduces your alertness, and to go around in quito by foot in confusional state is a big 'hit me' advertisement for any criminal you would come across.

3. stay out of troubles. the local newspaper yesterday reported that, from the beginning of the year, there have been almost 500 assaults on people and properties, in a single district - so not the whole city. laptops are particularly looked after and there are a lot of weapons around. mind your steps.

4. use only licensed taxis, and be prudent with flashing out cameras, watches and what else - quito is not a safe spot as a whole. taxis go by the meter at day, but i heard at night it goes by negotiation.

5. the tradition in ecuador is that guys approach girls, not the other way around like in many other parts of the world. so girls are mostly waiting, hoping to be approached. they get tired to sit down and bored to hell.

6. business is slow. in all places i have been to, i noticed that most of the action is represented by guys drinking beer and looking at girls, but there is relatively little bed action taking place v. the amount of men around. all girls complain, and i wonder how do they get a decent living. this means that in theory you can negotiate... but in practice, these are pro's, and the general mindset is that they could earn nothing comfortably sitting and chatting with each other instead of having to work for a few bucks. prices are already rock-bottom, and despite the moaning none of the girls i met was in real distress.

7. if you don’t speak any spanish, you are in troubles. none of the girls i interviewed could speak and/or understand english, not even at basic level. the situation could be different in the expensive nightclubs, but there you have to cough up 100/150 dollars for 30-45 minutes. so come prepared - either some basic spanish or a large wallet. apart from pro's, it is difficult to find anybody speaking any english anywhere, which is a real shame. a country that does not speak english is dead at international level.

8. surprisingly, a lot of colombians are coming to ecuador. they are attracted by the dollar, which apparently is considered way better than the local colombian peso. i did not quite get the reasoning behind this strong preference, but that is the trend. so you will find regularly colombian chicas in ecuadorian brothels.

9. if you find a girl you like, i advise you to stick with her. overall quality is low, despite the big-breasted standard. good attitude is rare. while exploring can be fun, it eventually means to pay a lot of money in entry tickets, observing a lot of girls who could not care less if you are alive or dead, and ending up having relatively expensive gym sessions, but not 'real' sex. with that i mean no passion, no warmth, and an experience that most of the times i forget in less than a day. if you like, as i do, gfe, good luck. kisses are possibly more rare than anything else. my attempts to convince girls to be my 'novia' for some time were not even understood - their view of things is that you pay, they condom you, suck you, get banged for a few minutes and... next please.

10. another aspect to consider is that girls are typically low educated and not very smart. they are used to volatile sex sessions with as many men as they can, and they do not have a clear picture regarding the advantages of having a few, loyal and frequent guests. so if you hope to convince a girl that she should discount you on the basis of the fact that you will return, think twice - it is not going to fly in most cases. and, before you get a girl to abandon the wham-bang-thank-you-mam approach, you might have to pay a lot of propinas, or be very lucky. a real shame, i feel. as said before, these girls can fuck, and it would take just a little bit more to make of them great lovers.

11. most girls are single mothers, according to my experiences approx 80% of them. girls here do not become hookers to buy trendy phones, and most of them just need to feed themselves and their children. if asked, they will proudly tell you how many kids they have. however, genetics help - i could not find one girl whose pussy was devastated by pregnancy. stretch marks are normal.

12. you don't really need a gf hotel - action takes place in chongos. my hotel was flexible in terms of visitors, short stay was allowed, and long stay would have required to know the name of the visitor and pay something like 6 dollars (i had a reservation for one person only). but again, why bother? you can fuck your way from 11 am to 4-6 am the day after, without the need to risk it by bringing a girl at your place.

13. about the above - stealing is the second sport after football in ecuador. robbers are everywhere, and if you decide to invite a low-priced 'deal' in your hotel room do not be surprised to find that your comb is gone - everything here has a value, and if it can be stolen, it will.

Last week, I was in Quito. As it turned out, it was not one of my best mongering experiences. First of all, the weekend of 27 and 28 November was a disaster due to the census. This really sucked because I picked my hotel to be conveniently close to these chongos. Perhaps all these places were closed in the week of my visit because of the census in the first weekend and the 'Festival de Quito' in the weekend that followed?

Further North, most places were open after the census weekend. 'Touch Me' seemed open but there were such shady types hanging out in front of it that I didn't care to enter. I did enter both VIP 3 Star and OE1, near Trole Carolina but there were only girls in there that I wouldn't have done if they had paid me.

In short, every day my search ended at the same place: Cafe Rojo. The vibe in this place is good but I found it overcrowded. On every day I went there, it was a real sausage fest. The guys:girls ratio was 3:1 on Monday to Wednesday and even 5:1 or worse on Thursday. I guess that the closedown of chongos in La Mariscal had something to do with this. Here's updates on the places I visited. Even though they are a few years old, many of the places on Tunguruhua's maps are still in business that I went to. Those maps are simply priceless! I like to visit chongos at night after a little liquid encouragement so a lot of the best places just aren't open by the time I'm ready. I know. Cafe Rojo. It will just have to wait for another trip.

Akershuz: Is a 3 minute walk from Plaza Foch, the center of Marischal. Vibracion didn't seem to be in business so this is the only Marischal chongo that I know of. I stopped on my first night after a late flight. Same old chunky ladies with deep calous' on their hands from years of handjobs. There are a couple of gems in the rough. From the jacked-up host trying to hustle me to the flabby gals, I bolted from this dark depressing place. Fechas $15 but qutoed by $25 by the host.

Cheers: I liked this low-end dive. Read Tung's directions to the 3rd floor and by pass the basement disco. After climbing a shitload of stairs, the host hands me a large beer for my $2 entrance and pulls back a curtain to a small room with a stripper pole cranking reggeaton. I saw the goofiest, funniest dancer here. She was completely drunk and naked except for a backwards baseball hat. She rolled over each and every guy sitting in the old bus seats against the wall, each time turning around on their lap to incert a couple fingers in her snatch! What a happy hour! The girls are $10 a fecha and are in the 4-7 range on looks. I enjoyed a couple flithy visits here.

my advice is the following, with in mind foreigners coming from us or europe:

1. book a hotel in the vicinity of the action. it will save you some (very cheap) taxi ride and especially time. traffic in quito is no joke. you will also be in a better position to invite the girl of your choice to come to your hotel. if you do your homework (one basic thing any monger must be good at) , you will get yourself a nice spot, surrounded by options and safe.

2. do not drink too much in these places and in general. booze is cheap, and they push you to drink, but they will take profit of you, both the bar and the girls. besides, do not forget you are at 2800 meters above sea level. even after a few days, performances will be impaired v. what you are used to (unless you are a mountain person yourself) , and alcohol does not help. i am myself a reasonable beer drinker, with 50-100 cc a day, but in quito one beer would have a noticeable impact. so, if you want to get wasted, mind your money and, in general, do not count too much on high performances. also remember that alcohol reduces your alertness, and to go around in quito by foot in confusional state is a big 'hit me' advertisement for any criminal you would come across.

3. stay out of troubles. the local newspaper yesterday reported that, from the beginning of the year, there have been almost 500 assaults on people and properties, in a single district. so not the whole city. laptops are particularly looked after and there are a lot of weapons around. mind your steps.

4. use only licensed taxis, and be prudent with flashing out cameras, watches and what else. quito is not a safe spot as a whole. taxis go by the meter at day, but i heard at night it goes by negotiation.

5. the tradition in ecuador is that guys approach girls, not the other way around like in many other parts of the world. so girls are mostly waiting, hoping to be approached. they get tired to sit down and bored to hell.

6. business is slow. in all places i have been to, i noticed that most of the action is represented by guys drinking beer and looking at girls, but there is relatively little bed action taking place v. the amount of men around. all girls complain, and i wonder how do they get a decent living. this means that in theory you can negotiate. but in practice, these are pro's, and the general mindset is that they could earn nothing comfortably sitting and chatting with each other instead of having to work for a few bucks. prices are already rock-bottom, and despite the moaning none of the girls i met was in real distress.

7. if you don't speak any spanish, you are in troubles. none of the girls i interviewed could speak and / or understand english, not even at basic level. the situation could be different in the expensive nightclubs, but there you have to cough up 100/150 dollars for 30-45 minutes. so come prepared. either some basic spanish or a large wallet. apart from pro's, it is difficult to find anybody speaking any english anywhere, which is a real shame. a country that does not speak english is dead at international level.

8. surprisingly, a lot of colombians are coming to ecuador. they are attracted by the dollar, which apparently is considered way better than the local colombian peso. i did not quite get the reasoning behind this strong preference, but that is the trend. so you will find regularly colombian chicas in ecuadorian brothels.

9. if you find a girl you like, i advise you to stick with her. overall quality is low, despite the big-breasted standard. good attitude is rare. while exploring can be fun, it eventually means to pay a lot of money in entry tickets, observing a lot of girls who could not care less if you are alive or dead, and ending up having relatively expensive gym sessions, but not 'real' sex. with that i mean no passion, no warmth, and an experience that most of the times i forget in less than a day. if you like, as i do, gfe, good luck. kisses are possibly more rare than anything else. my attempts to convince girls to be my 'novia' for some time were not even understood. their view of things is that you pay, they condom you, suck you, get banged for a few minutes and. next please.

12. you don't really need a gf hotel. action takes place in chongos. my hotel was flexible in terms of visitors, short stay was allowed, and long stay would have required to know the name of the visitor and pay something like 6 dollars (i had a reservation for one person only). but again, why bother? you can fuck your way from 11 am to 4-6 am the day after, without the need to risk it by bringing a girl at your place.

13. about the above. stealing is the second sport after football in ecuador. robbers are everywhere, and if you decide to invite a low-priced 'deal' in your hotel room do not be surprised to find that your comb is gone. everything here has a value, and if it can be stolen, it will.

I did a quick search back through December and was surprised to find that no one is talking about the crackdown in Quito. As of mid January, there are multiple closures in the Mariscal section, including Guajira, La Gata Caliente, Casa Palacio and likely many others. I'm a big fan of Guajira, and I was therefore shocked when I found the place closed up and padlocked on January 13th. I'm friendly with one of the girls who works there, so we got together and she told me that the city is cleaning up the Mariscal because it's a tourist area. She said that every week or two, the Guajira management calls the girls to a meeting and promises that they'll be back in business soon, but of course that never happens.

I think that these closures have pushed a lot of business to Cafe Rojo because I headed over there several times and there were quite a large number of guys.

Aside: I went to Cafe Rojo on a Saturday afternoon, assuming that the place would be nice and quiet since most customers are married businessmen. Boy was I dead wrong! The place was PACKED with guys, far outnumbering the girls. They appeared to be young and likely single. A different scene for sure. I'm not making that mistake again.

I went to guajira 2 hours ago and it was closed and padlocked with a chain that looks like it had been there a while. I spoke with the security guard next door at the other building. He confirmed it has been closed for a while. It took me around 3 days to get rid of a dull throbbing headache which I attributed to the high altitude and effects of jet lag. I'm a middle-aged guy who is in reasonably good shape, but I still found myself gasping for air after climbing stairs and walking up hills for the first few days of my visit.

Yes, most of the La Mariscal chongos listed on Tungurahua's 'Central Quito 2' map dated 11-28-08 have been closed down. I spent a day walking around to just about all of them, and found most doors locked with no signs of life.

The only one I found open during the day was #20 from Tung's map, listed as the 'Las Diosas' sauna. I can't remember if that's the actual name of the place, but it is indeed posted accurately on the map and was open as of 2 weeks ago. Coming from the center of La Mariscal, I walked down Juan Mera until I reached La Nina street, then turned right and walked 3 blocks. The place is on the left side of La Nina street in a blue and white building (building number 270).

I showed up at 3:30 pm and encountered no signs of life as I entered through the front door. I walked up the stairs in the direction of music and was met at the top of the stairs by the 'boss', who was a hard-looking yet very pleasant lady in her late 30's.

My Spanish language vocabulary consists of about 20 words, while her English skills weren't much better. But the only words a guy there needs to know are 'cerveza' and 'cuanto cuesta'. No entry fee, but she asked if I wanted a cerveza, which of course I did. Pilsner for $3.

There were 3 ladies working that afternoon, with no other customers sitting in there. None of the ladies were stunners, but all were doable based on my standards. By far the most attractive one in my eyes was Paola, aged 23. She was wearing a black pleated mini skirt and low cut top with some high CFM heels, which of course I really liked.

She and I spent a few minutes trying to converse, but my high school Spanish knowledge made that futile. So I motioned to the boss that I wanted her, and asked for the price, which was $20.

I had never had this happen to me before. Yes, I had read that the Mariscal district was unsafe and no-one should venture outside without taking a taxi. I consider myself street-savvy, but I never noticed anyone behind me until it was too late.

Gentlemen, please don't make the same mistake I made. I love the thrill of picking up streetwalkers, but there is no way on God's green earth I'll ever do it again in Quito. To me, the Mariscal district has the same gritty feel as Tijuana, and is probably just as unsafe. I never felt unsafe there during the day, but at night there are a lot of unsavory men and women hanging around.

Whenever I walked down Amazonas or any street late at night, I never walked on the sidewalk close to the buildings since muggers tend to lurk in the dark doorways. I always walked as close to the street as possible and sometimes in the street. . . However, it's still possible to still get mugged.

This report is a bit old but I think I owe the boards alot of replies as I've read more that I've wrote in the past few years. I only passed through Quito for one night on a backpacking trip through south America two years back. For those who don't know about the scene there I Rtff and decided to head out to Cafe Rojo which is right across the road from the Airport. It was slightly hard to find at first. Its on one of the smaller side streets perpendicular to the airport. Found it paid my 5dollars entry and headed in. Other people may disagree with me by after almost circumnavigating the South American continent I thought some of the hottest "Babes" I'd seen were working here. I really couldn't believe the tits and ass on some of these chicks.

If I remember correctly there was a free drink, maybe, included in the price so I sat there talking in my rubbish Spanish to a customer watching the chicks. I moved over to a couch so I could be closer to the girls and I spotted one totally boobalicous / bootilicous babe. Still can't believe those jugs were real! Her big ass, massive tits and small waist were fuping yum yum! I really pounded her hard and she loved it! I think I paid almost 20dollars for 20minutes. Can't remember her name but she was hooooot! As were many, many chicas in that club that day.

Finished up and went back to the hostel to listen to some dirty hippies talkin trash about how great life is.

I will be in Quito soon. One of the guides that my friend here has gotten me in touch with wants $150 for 3 days of car rental. Of course he will be there all the time and I don't have to drive. Is that normal price for a car rental along with driver for 3 days in Quito. I will be using the car to go to Otavallo and other areas surrounding Quito. Please advice

That price of $150 for three days is very good, almost too good. I would be a little careful with it. Maybe the car is small, old and crappy. Maybe the guy will later say it's extra to go to Otavalo. Maybe some other baloney. Maybe the guy is not a real driver, just some buddy, and wants a few extra bucks.

The going rate for a real driver, maybe even a bilingual one, is $9-$11 per hour to take you around, which comes to about $100 per day, often more. Note that it's VERY important to the driver how much time and miles he will actually be using the car v. How much down time. They like it when you go to an activity and they have to simply wait without using the car (or gas). Be sure to get all of this stuff clear before heading out or you will get mixed up in some wacky after-the-fact-negotiations and that's not where you want to be.

Today I went to La Cantera Rosa at the western end of Calle Rocafuerte at around 3 pm. There were 12-15 chicas and about 10 local guys. There was music but no shows, but believe me. I was today at massaje Medellin, address 110 Menses why La Gasca, and had my worst experience in Ecuador so far.

I haven't traveled to other parts of Ecuador so all of the following info concerns Quito, and I've only been to brothels.

Climate / Weather.

Quito has about the same temperature year round (20 degrees at day. 9 degrees at night) , however, I've checked the digital thermometers on the streets and when it rains it's apparenty much cooler, goes down to 12 degrees during day. Precipitation and sunshine hours vary greatly throughout the year though. According to the world weather information service, June through August is pretty dry precipitation wise, while February through April is the wettest.

From my personal experience, the first 2 weeks when I arrived in mid December were really sunny in the morning, with some precipitation during the afternoon. Two weeks after that, much less sun, maybe 3 hours a day on average and rain. Two weeks after that, much less rain, but still some occasional light drizzle but still overall cloudy. The coastal area has a much different climate. Definitely not spring like. It's about 27-28 degrees during the day.

Women.

Now as far as women are concerned, I believe it's mainly a matter of opinion. But, I have been to a few places in the world, my home is Canada, I have seen the mongering scene in Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore among other places. If I am honest, I will say that my best mongering experiences were in Pattaya Thailand because of the accesibility, the prices, the fact that everything is so close, the fact that it's a safe place. Well, according to my experience, brothels around the north of the city are safe. Stay away from this place unless you have money to burn. A colleague dragged me there last night. What a disaster. $24 cover includes 3 basic drinks or 2 higher end drinks. From Quito you can visit Otavalo the market town in the highlands. Close by is Cotacatchi where you can buy GOOD LEATHER ITEMS FOR CCCCHEAP.

Take a tour of Volcano Cotapaxi.

Visit Plaza Santo Domingo and the vicinity in the old section of town. Just beautiful.

See a local soccer game at the stadium. Be prepared to bolt if fans get too rowdy!

Eat and Drink in Gringolandia (next to hotel amazonas). GREAT FOOD at bargain prices.

Visit a few chongos. Ask around. You have way too much experience not to find any.

* Bring small change if you can. NOBODY can break anything higher than a $20.

Guajira, went around 4 pm, friendly place, $2 entry gets you a drink took water instead of beer. About 8 chicas, imo the best was a low 6 others 5, did not want to waste anything here. Disappointed in quality.

Tungurahua posted that report in January of 2009 and credited Full Throttle with the initiative, and someone updated it six days ago. In particular, I was wandering if anyone has used an iphone to sucessfully navigate to the chongos from the map. I'm not sure what kind of accuracy the iphone would have in Quito. My last time in Quito I had a hardtime finding a number of chongos just because I knew the street they should have been on, but not how far down. With the blue dot showing you exactly where you are on the iphone map, I think it would be almost impossible to miss any chongos. That is of course if it is accurate. I just spent 2 weeks in Quito; this was my 4th visit in 10 years. Things have changed quite a bit, everything is more expensive and service has become more mechanical and business-like. But heck, that's the way it is.

General tips:

-Carry a bag with the following items: hand desinfectant and toilet paper. Hand soap and toilet paper seem to be foreign concepts in this land. Only the very high-end restaurants and hotels put those in the restrooms.

-I excercise daily and just passed a physical with flying colors. Altitude in Quito will affect most people, especially if you mix it with alcohol. Take it easy the first couple of days.

-Things die on Sundays. Keep that in mind.

-During the holidays business hours are more unpredictable than ever.

arrived in quito tuesday night for the first time in 4 years. missed the 11pm bus so i shelled out $26 for the taxi. bus leaves every hour on the hour. don't ever arrive in the day if at all possible. the ride took about 45 minutes with no traffic, but the driver told me it could take up to 4 hours if traffic was bad.

started in on wednesday. i got tung's old maps out to reaquaint myself. i noticed that a place called techo rojo was right around the block from my hotel and open in the day. i had never been there. good place to start. walking down the street there was a door with a sign that read 'videos eroticos' and there was a guy standing outside with a grin that seemed to say this is the place. but the map made it look like it was further down the street. address was 217, but the addresses there are so out of whack that i walked to the end of the street and figured that must have been it. i headed back and the guy was gone. there was a bell and i rung, waited a couple seconds and then walked away. the guy came back out and waved at me to come back. i asked "aqui hay mujeres?" "hombres." whoops. ok, scratch that one.

club 122- that's always been a fun dirt cheap one. but passing the front door it seemed closed. a guy outside said it was closed until monday. merde! that was one of my main reasons to come to this city. he told me to try around the corner at swing. i thought it was only open at night, but he told me that the upper floors were open in the day.

above swing- this wasn't on tung's map. if you like grimy and cheap, this is your place. $2 entry with drink and $10 for a room. but this place is pretty grungy. there's a a big corridor when you walk in and can see everything clearly, but then up some stairs and it's really dark and crowded. and this was wednesday around 3pm. it must get out of hand on friday evenings. probably the worst thing about the place is that there are about 5 or 6 rooms and you have to sit and wait in a grimy hallway, while others finish up and then go into a grimy room. a lot of ugly women, but definitely some cute ones. it's kind of like a dirtier version of club 122. from there i headed to cafe rojo.

The local authorities are also trying that the clubs go outside the city, actually it is illegal that these places are in the city but with good lawyers they make the fight to stay). I read today that it was open but the police arrived (we`ll have to wait to see the outcome). Near the 122 is the Blush and some of the girls were working there (of course totally overcrowded) , but it was also closed last week; now the girls are all over the remaining clubs. The swincito and 148 were the last available near the place so now they are full but not a good option in my opinion.

Actually the private show is more common when you are with a group of friends if you are alone is out of question. Cafe or 155 are very similar, there are a lot of people because there are good looking girls but the hottest are usually always in the room (guys even wait for them upstairs and the rest of people don't have the chance to even see them in a very long while, but you can also find very good options). If you go to Cafe you can ask for Karen colombiana (she is nice looking and you don't pay extra for ass) , Zulay, Paty or Tatiana (they are great).

Locally know as "el cuarenta treinta why tres" or 4033- is one of the victims in this campaign against chongos, some users of the Ecuadorian forum report that it is open but with the door half closed, almost without any music (which is good considering the awful taste of the so called DJ) and which is more important with just a few girls working.

Just let me tell you that if you have never been there is not like you have missed anything, the quality of the girls has declined in the last years and the rooms were awful as always.

Some of the girls that used to work here have been reported (in the EC forum) working at El Swingcito and Cafe Rojo, some even say that the new 122 (which was closed because of a fire) would open again on these days.

Well I was in one of those once but I was completely wasted so I can't say if it was good or bad or how much did I paid to get into it.

Regarding to 122, the original 122 was in a house just in front of the galleria over Murillo st. Then (not sure how long ago) it changed its name to "Blush" but it is closed now, the "new" 122 was in Bolivia between Murillo and Perez Guerrero, lets say from the old one walk south until the end of the street then turn right a few steps.

But in the other direction (going to Av. 10 de Agosto) there are 2 more places 148 which I don't know if is still open an almost in the corner "El Swingcito" which I think is $10 in the morning and $20 at night, however I can't recommend any of them I had a very bad experience in 148 a few years back and I haven't got back there for good, and El Swingcito has been always a shit hole.

I'm there for just 24 hours anyway and after a long flight (and working during that time) I might just go to bed anyway.

I'll have a 48 hour layover in Guayaquil right after Quito so I think I might just go to Calle 18. I'm really looking for cheap pussy this time around, I have a long lay-over in BKK soon (well long for me anyway) and this is coming out of my BKK budget. Not that 10 dollars isn't cheap but at 6 dollars at calle 18 I can fuck more pussy. Besides I understand there is also an entrance fee you have to pay in most Quito clubs add to that the taxi fares for going all over town it sounds like calle 18 is the better option for me.

Only thing I'm a bit concerned with is the safety of that area, but I intend to go in the morning when everything is (hopefully) still quiet and the girls are still fresh hehehe.

I just moved to Quito from NYC. Wow what a culture and price shock. So I figured I should finally post something, as this board was so helpful when I came to visit back in February. I've been to Touch Me 3 times so far, it's my go to for a cheap quickie, since it's so easy to find. 10 de Agosto why Rumipamba, as posted earlier, Floron Trole stop. When I came in February I was frisked but not asked for ID. The first two times this go around I wasn't asked for anything, nor frisked. Today I had a bit of a problem as the security guard didn't want to accept my copy of my passport. My Spanish is passable and as with most things in Quito, if you argue enough you'll win. I explained that it wasn't a good idea to bring my actual passport. He explained that if the cops came and I didn't have a stamp it would be my problem. A risk I'm willing to take. 122 is still, unfortunately closed. I asked one of the girls at Touch Me, whom I recognized from 122, last week, if she knew when it would be open and she told me she had no idea. I passed by yesterday and it was still shut. I loved that place back in February. I think I went there 4 days in a row. I plan on going to some of the spots down by Recreo, since that's where I work and will report back. For now, I can only report on Touch Me. Some really thick girls if you're into that, some flacas too. $2 entry including beer, water, or Cuba libre. $10 fichas. Rooms are very basic. Protip: leave your socks on. Lots of Ecuadorian guys standing or sitting around, soccer on the TV and girls either standing or sitting around as well. 4 times there and I've seen maybe 2 gringos. If you see something you like, grab it because someone else will pretty quickly. I love that you can leave this place and the trole is right across the street.
