Anfitriones de Venezuela which has the fleet of black Explorers took down the ticket kiosk they had inside the terminal building itself so the official rate no longer exists. It's whatever they can get.
very interesting.Thanks.
it would also explain the rates. The locals don't use these fools. Since foreigners are conditioned to convert everything to dollars, 20 US doesn't sound preposterous to them even though it might be by local standards. Probably a smart business decision.
that said, I don't remember them having a "ticket kiosk" inside the terminal. They had a certain set rate of prices outside, but the one time I used them, I was able to negotiate them down anyways.
btw the reason I feel reasonably safe catching regular taxis outside of the terminal is basically the following.:
the people out looking to do no good, typically 'case' out their potential victims ahead of time. This makes sense, you want to maximize your opportunity, right?
the regular taxis I catch outside the terminal (just above/below the black Explorers) are not officially ALLOWED to pick up passengers there and they can't stick around, which allows for no "casing" or staking out opportunities.
So what I get is simply a taxista either trying his luck in catching a fare, or someone who just dropped someone off , so my odds are automatically drastically better.
btw. fares from Caracas to airport are usually even better. Rate from Chacao to airport a year and a half ago from almost any taxi you'd catch on the street was 12K, 15 tops. If you want to call a taxi service, you can get one for as little as 9K.
And no.. their gas prices haven't gone up. Gasoline prices are regulated by govt and I think they're still something like 26 us CENTS a gallon!

Here's a true story that might help future Caracas travelers. (shouldn't really be in the photo section, but what the hell)
One night I punched up the website www.sexycaracas.com in an internet cafe and decided on a 20 year old girl named Astrid from an agency called "Secrets of Love". I just went on the website and she is still listed there.
She arrives in the lobby of my hotel and the hotel stafff calls up to my room and tells me that there is young lady here who wants to come up but she doesn't have her i.d. only a copy of it. So I go down to the lobby to see if I can mediate the problem and I meet Astrid. Major hotty! Blonde hair, pretty face cute little strappy sandals and a nice VERY enjoyable body! Small chest but VERY hot!
She and I chat it up a while in Spanish and she tells me that her "boss" is bringing her i.d. - should be here in 15 minutes. So I wait with her and start getting totally "juiced" for this little sexy package! I pop a vita V and buy her a beer at the bar while we wait. About 20 minutes pas and her "boss" arrives with another copy of her i.d.!! She has no idea where the original is and neither does Astrid. Since the next day was Mothers Day and Astrid was planning on spending the day with family there was no way I would be able to see her again. :(
I sat in the bar drowning my sorrows in Regional Light Beer while the viagara wore off. Sad I never spent any time with her except in the lobby.
Anyone traveling to CCS should seriously consider "meeting" Astrid from "Secrets of Love". Tell me how it went and make me jealous! (but make sure she has her original i.d. with her)
Cheers,
FORD
Hi Ford,
Thought I'd reply to this here so everyone will be happy.
I’ve had something very similar to this happen to me in Rio. I don't know about Caracas, but in Rio they have many love motels that couldn't care less if the girl has an ID or not. Ultimately, that's what I pursued... I wasn't too exited about spending the extra money for a love motel, but once she and I got inside the room, I forgot all about that...
Btw, too bad they removed the Tijuana section from the www.sexycaracas.com; your girl was really cute. Oh well, at least you had some fun with her!
Take it easy,
Y & R
y & r i think what happened to me is that i became very jaded. there are so many beautiful women in ccs that i got lazy. i mean i was all "set up" in my room at the hotel paseo las mercedes that i didn't want to move.
i should probably explain what i mean by "all set up"
i'm a little different kind of "player" - on my trips i bring a pair of expandable high frequency speakers, an ipod and sony discman with a full assortment of merengue, bachata, and salsa loaded - three different speed vibrators/clit buzzers, digital cameras, digital camcorders, candles etc. even some "hard-core" players are shocked by me!!
for example i have traveled to the island of curacao 3x. here, most guys
meet girls in campo alegre and spend 20 minutes with them in their little room at the complex for about $20. not me!! :)
i take 2 or 3 girls out of the complex for the day, bring them back to my hotel where i have disposable string bikinis (3 or 4 wears - you can buy them on the internet because very few girls bring there own and buying them on the island can get expensive) and then take them to jan thiel beach and lay in a beach chair with two girls draped over me topless for several hours and then back to my room for a threesome!! ;)
i am not a "quickie-motel" kind of guy.
cheers,
ford
Ford, I could not agree with you more. Most guys simply are not using Campo on CUR to its full advantage. I am all in favor of your approach. In fact,Campo I would say is the easiest place I have been to to obtain GFE - if you are willing to provide BFE to the girls.

Yes, Tbird I do love Campo very much but my point of mentioning it here was just an illustration of the kind of traveler I am and the reason why I didn't run the little "Secrets of Love" chica Astrid to a "quickie" motel.
Nothing wrong with this arangement (some guys in the Dominican Republic for example love taking girls to the short term cabanas - they're beautifully decorated) but its just not my personality. I like setting up in a good comfortable hotel like the Paseo Las Mercedes - and doing my business there. :)
cheers all,

I'll be arriving on Saturday for a two month tour of the country largely based out of the Andean state of Merida.
I'm interested in the overall state of the cellular phone system. Any idea on how well a Caracas based cell phone will get coverage in areas like Merida, Puerto Cabello, Valencia, San Cristobal, etc.
I'll probably spent most of my time outside of Caracas but want a reliable means to communicate. Any information would be appreciated.

Telcel? Digitel? there are several others.
my memory fails me now and plans and coverages tend to shift, so what was the case last year might not be the case this year.
When I was there, for e.g. Digitel was the cheapest and limited to the Caracas area only, whereas Telcel for e.g. was country wide.
I know since then Digitel has upgraded system and raised prices, I don't know what their current coverage areas are.
There are like three or four main cell carriers that everyone uses. I've named two.
Figure out who your carrier is and simply ask them or a local what the coverage of that carrier is.
"Caracas based" means nothing. It depends on who your carrier/company is.
A number of good experiences at the massage parlors. Does anyone have the addresses to these places. The sexycaracas site has the names, but not the locations. The individual websites also without addresses, to my search. Thanks.

There is a report in the photo gallery section.
Prosbocito
Not much action on the Caracas board ... guess I'll have to make a quick trip there and stir things up a bit.
Heading down in early July and again in late July ... looking forward to seeing some Chamas again ... I've been hanging in Colombia lately.
Hopefully ... something worth reporting will come up ... seguro que si!!

Is there a main strip with street walkers in Caracas?
Also escort prices are ridicoulous in this place.
Is there anybody you guys would recommend? Small frame and young? For a good price? Any good webpages for escorts? Pics Pics

Almost any decent hotel you stay around airport can direct you to a closeby joint to get some good Venezulian pussy. Don't woory, once you get thre ask around to right people and you canget some decent room service. Pussy is lot better in Caracas than in say Isla Margarita.

Hi Tasty,
please enlighten me in your statement WHY pussy would be "better"in caracas??? because it's (probably) more expensive?? because there are more girls to pick from?? Because they are more "educated".
What are your standards WHY pussy is "better"?? Is it better because the girs are more pretty??? Is it better because they give a way a better performance??? Did you had a bad experience with pussy performance OUTSIDE Caracas???
IMHO most pussy which is more expensive (probably) will NOT be better at all.
So that is why i tell you guys NOT to overpay in such countries. It's ridiculous to pay 100 US $ an hour (I have seen such prices for take out hookers on Cararcas-based escort websites......I am sure you find some listed in this section) in a country were the average wages for a whole MONTH is probably NOT more then 200 US $./....!!!And that will be if you have a GOOD job;-)
That would be the same if you payed in the US 1000 $ for an hour of sex!!! I kindda doubt that.....;-) So lets get real here.
Up till now the best p4p sex i ever had was with a 5 Euro(!!!!) streethooker i met in central parc in Fortaleza-Brasil. She was hanging out there (during the day) with some 10-15 other hookers;ready for take off with locals or turists. I paid her 5 Euro for an hour sex and 2 euro for the rented (love)motelroom we went to. Two buddies of mine were waiting outside.....just incase because it wasn't the best barrio from town.(certainly a no-go area at night!!)
All this was in early 2003. I can tell you this girl was GREAT. She fucked and sucked me with such a passion i never experienced before!!!! Her attitude was great, tell you that.
Many (more costlier) hookers i met after her were snobby or had more other lousy personality features (clockwatchers....you name it...).
Even in my home country the Netherlands i had good sex with socalled "homeworkers"(at a rate for € 60,- an hour;which is considered "cheap"overhere)! In fact most of the times it is better then the sex you ever have in the clubs which cost about 80-100 euro an hour or more if you want extra's!!! But all this is MHO.
So again: WHY would pussy be "better" in Caracas then on isla Margarita????
regards,
Johan.

it's not, depending on how you look at things.
pussy is pussy.
but odds of getting a GFE are probably much better on the island because many girls are freelancers. The CCS scene is very commercial/professional.

In my experience, there's more pussy to be found in Caracas than on Margaraita Island. Thus the possibilities for getting better pussy exist in Caracas.
Like I said before " I kindda doubt that"....
If you are on the Island I guess you will be swarmed with hookers. Far more then on any day then in the Capital. IF this is better for the QUALITY of the services....I don't know. I do know that prices on the Island in general are much higher then on the mainland. So any hooker could make MORE bucks on the Island then in Caracas. That's WHY so many girls leave from the mainland to Isla M to make a buck....;-)
Pussy will go were the $$$/€€€ is....and that is on isla Margarita. Why?? Very simple because the place is a wellknown travel destination for inland and international package tours. The Island has many (i said MANY) turists with money. Many Europeans and North-Americans are seen there.Even richer venezuelans will travel there......
Caracas indeed has about 4.5 million people...but from those 90% are just on or even UNDER the poverty line. Do you REALY think they will spend money on middle/upper class hookers??? No way.
Please read up on recent venezuelan history; and you'll know what I am talking about.
It's just simple maths.
Johan

Each of our experiences are different, but I've been to BOTH Caracas and Margarita Island and I did far better in Caracas, including with "up-scale" ladies.

Hi guys,
I see you guys are have a lovely debate but forget to include details about any of this in your posts. I was a lonely tourist down their a couple of weeks ago with very little information about caracas or the isla marg. luckily someone posted lots of good info about caracas in the photo section which got me better oriented.
First of all I did the escort agency thing while in caracas, you just cant beat the no hassle of having a chic come to you while you chill out and watch tv. I hate to be the guy telling you to check out the other post but I just dont have the time to write every agency and what not that i did but I will explain to hopefully help someone out.
The agency escorts chics ran from 100,000 bolivares to 150,000 with the 150 being for top notch pussy. I stayed in the embassy suites in chacao and was not dissapointed as the guys let all girls into my room withiout bitchin about me being there alone. the Chacao area is a good area for those caracas newbies. The escorts were all good the lower end girls were lower end but I guess im just gettin to picky nowadays. I managed to work out a price of 400,000 bolivares for this gorgeus 18 year old escort who stayed all nite with me. Considering the agencies are asking for 1,300,000 for an all niter i thought this waws a bargain, I talked to the girl directly not with the agency.
My clubn times in caracas were short but ok, I went to a place called divas but left and went to the main one in caracas agua something dont rememeber but i beleive it starts with an A. The girls were plentiful and hot, i took home a nice black chick 180,000 door fee and then she stayed all nite and i paid her 200,000 as i didnt know what to pay her and she didnt ask so whatever. Like i said they have all kinds of girls here just name your desire.
An important thing to know is that the Escorts do not work on sunday, I mean if you dont have an appointment set for sunday dont expect to make an appointment on sunday. I found out this the hard way as i was forced to order and ugly hooker from the taxi cab guys downstairs at the embassy sure she was cheaper 60,000 plus but the quality was lacking so book ahead or hit the titty clubs which dont start until 8pm. If any one needs any info just let me know, thanks.

Is there a bus that passes near the airport into town ?
Does anyone know if a small 125cc -250 cc motorbikes
are rented anywhere in Caracas?
Johan007:
Pussy in Isal Marg is mostly island girls, homey, dark and crude. While in Caracas they are soft, fair colored and chic and elegant. If goal is to fuck anything with a hole, Isla is ok. But in Caracas, pussy is clean, better looking and not with "hotel maid" look. I know tastes are different. But if grabbing your crotch and bad breath is your style, Isla is ok. If you wish CLASS, from how they smell to maicured nails etc, Caracas is lot better. Just my opinion, does not make it right. Take it what it is worth.
Hi Tasty,
I agree with you completely. But wouldn't you say the ladies in caracas also TEND to be more snotty and/or pretentious as the women on isla M?????
What i saw untill now (via the internet) doesn't look promising at all.....certainly NOT the women in caracas. But maybe i just gout bad luck?
Right now I am having my doubts of going to venezuela at all!!!!!!!!!!!!
I allready paid my ticket with Iberia.(yes...FUCK ME for 732 euros)
I am rethinking to go to DR or to Honduras after all.
hell even the women in Panama were more easy going then the "baracudas"I've met from caracas..!!
yes I know......i am a libra and i don't know what I want. LOL

Hi Johan,
Not to get off topic here but I've been to Honduras 2x and the DR 6x and , my friend you will have a great time in either destination!
(Also Port Royal Beer -Honduras, and Presidente- Dom Rep is a hell of alot better than Polar.) :)
cheers.............
Johann007:
I have not been to DR or Honduras. So can't compare. Out of all central/south america, Venezuela was my least favorite for mongering. I got better and cheaper pussy in Poland than in Venezuela. See my Poland posting. What a great experience in Warsaw. Screw (no pun intended) Venezuela.
tasty1:
i may inform you that i (had to) cancel my flight to caracas. i had to pay a fine (100 e),pay the taxes (another 170 e) and another 20e for admin costs.
only after doing this i could again buy online a ticket to santo domingo (dr...yes that's right). all in all i got fucked for 300 euros. that is better then to go to a place and have a bad holiday for 18 days. don't you agree?
a few reasons made my rethink my choice not to go to venezuela:
1)present policaly unrest ie chavez versus non-chavez activists. i predict more and more protests and upraisings. i wonder how long chavez can uphold this policy of his?
2) the very arrogant, snotty and at times very rude/ignorant behaviour of venezuelan " ladies": indeed fuck them! who the hell they hink they are??????????? 100 $ an hour??? yeah right! not even in your dreams baby.
3)venezuela doesn't appear to be a country were it's easy to invest nore it's easy to settle down and start a small business. (i have plans doing this....)
indeed in poland good and cheap hookers can be found. however it is a matter of personal taste. i personaly would prefer a latina any day over an eastern european women. unless of course she is a snotty, spoild rotten arrogant ***** from venezuela.
indeed after making a choice for the dr.....within a week i found myself chatting with 4 lovely gorgeous latinas from that lusty island!!
maybe end of august i will peep out for a week to croatia's coast....and i will see what the sight is there;-)

What did I miss?
With all your reasons to NOT go to Venezuela,
what possible kind of reasons did you ever have
to go there in the first place and buy tickets just
to throw away 300Euro to not go?
Well ... I have to say, I've had some great experiences with the Venezolanas.
Between my travels to Maracaibo and Caracas, I've met some really cool chicas.
Have I met some arrogant princess types? ... sure but lots more sweet ones ... pros and non-pros.
I was just in Caracas last week ... great time!
I'm back again in 10 days ... can't wait!
I've been all over Central / South America ... the DR, Puerto Rico, Curacao, etc ... many times ... Venezuela for me is one of my favorite places.
I've made many friends ... chicas, both pro and non-pro ... and some cool guys too.
Don't let someone else's bad experience influence ya too much ....
Suerte!
yes you are right Bez...I fucked up.
I should have known.....stupid ME....:-(
O well....as one great French filosopher (i am blank on his name right now) once said "seulement cést d'argent"....it's only money;-)
ie it's not the end of the world.
I am allready enjoying my DR contacts;-) truly women...and no snotty attitudes..:-)
I stay away from venezuela as far as possible. If anyone else gets his rocks of there....congrats. But that country is definately NOT for me.
I allready mentioned MANY reasons NOT to go there. And for sure NOT to invest or retire/start small business there;-)
keep the faith,
Johan

Did Angelus on Friday night. Like standing in a football stadium surrounded by beautiful women. Both dine in and take out. Did dine in first night and take out the 2nd. Lots of silicone. No freebies to persuade you in bar area but good action in the back.
Have to admit the hottest girls I saw in Caracas were at Salsa bar on Saturday night. Not at Angelus.
On appearance and dancing ability I have to give Venezuelan women 3 thumbs up !!!

Anyone have the address and maybe some directions to get to Angelus. I will be in Caracas next week and will be staying at the Eurobuilding Radisson.
By the way, anyone know how girl friendly this hotel is, I am thinking about calling a couple of girls from sexycaracas.com for a hotel visit.
Thanks.
Frgethenam,
It is a chica friendly hotel, but you have to come down to the lobby to pick up your girl, because you need your room key to operate the elevator. I had called few times the sexycaracas.com chicas when I stayed in Eurobuilding, no problem at all.
Good luck,
Mark
Angelus ... ask for the centro comercial ... mall ... ´Bello Campo´.
It´s on the basement level.
PS ... I´m in Caracas now ... met the sweetest, beautiful morenita yesterday ... I´m in love again!
Met her in el Recreo ... a big mall ... wow!

Mark SOS and Ricker,
Thanks guys for the info.
Ricker,
I will be in Caracas on Wednesday through Saturday, if you're still there, maybe we can hook up for a beer and "sightseeing" (LOL) one night.
Well ... I'm in and out of Caracas all the time ... maybe someday we could hook up ... I have the new chica I met, meeting me for now ...
good luck out there!
What hotels are not girl friendly in Caracas? We haven't booked our hotel, and we are looking at the Hilton, Marriott, Raddison or Hotel Centro Lido Regency.... on and some places to go to pick up none working girls would be helpful also.

I stayed at Intercontinental in Mercedes and had no problem bringing a girl in. Note: security is pretty tight in hotels in Caracas due to crime problem.
I know this is not Poland forum but I like clean, shaved, good smelling, tanned pussy and Venezuela is just too complicated and hit and miss. IMHO, if heading to Venezuela, re-think your plan. I have had better looking maids in US than these chicls in Caracas.
With all due respect Tasty1 ................
Caracas and Venezuela in general has some of the hottest chicas on the face of the planet ...
"too complicated ... hit and miss" ... like you put it ...
If you visited Caracas and had that bad experience, you must have been doing something wrong.
The city has more hot chicas per square inch than any place I've ever seen ... and I've seen plenty.
EVERY place I have visited in Venezuela ... there are pro chicas sweet and beautiful.
The country may have political problems ... (and the USA doesn't? ... ha) ... you have to be carefull about the street crime ... but the Venezolanas ... the chicas ...
... are amazing!!!
I stayed at Intercontinental in Mercedes and had no problem bringing a girl in. Note: security is pretty tight in hotels in Caracas due to crime problem. Thanks ChicagoBoy,
When you say that security is tight. Is that to say I may trouble getting girls to my room. The Intercontinental is booked. So we are looking at the other ones.
My friend,
I believe that you are misinformed about Venezuela. Although the political situation is problematical to say the least, it should not affect your mongering since you will most assuredly stay in the east of Caracas where we all live in a bubble. I do not agree that there will be uprisings etc since oil at USD sixty per barrel means that there is plenty of money around. I believe that Venezuelan girls, if well treated, compare favorably with any on the planet and if they are snooty they may be the exceptions, not the rule. Investing in Venezuela is a different issue and certainly do not consider this unless you have a local partner to show the ropes. Money and friends and sex can be found here if you have the attitude and the time.
Be safe
Be there
With all due respect to Johan who is a very respected "major" member of this board and huge contributor I have to agree %100 with Be There, Chicago Boy and Ricker!
I think you are short changing Venezuela! Venezuelan women are incredibly beautiful. The most beautiful women on the planet! All true.
Ricker said that "Venezuela has the most beautiful women per square inch than any other country on the planet", and I must say, I agree! :)
To trade in an experience in this lovely South American City because your "contacts" with Dominicanas have been positive and because the Dominican girls that you've written don't come across as snooty could be quite disappointing for you.
After 7 trips to that island paradise I know first hand that Dominican women are amazing salesman! They know what to say and they know how to say it to get what they want. I have often said that Dominicanas are born as natural "emprendedoras" (enterprising females) who can market themselves better than any women on the planet. They are taught (at a very young age) by their parents how best to "sell" themselves to touists and foreigners. In emails and on the phone they can be quite charming but inherently disingenuous.
Bad experiences with some Venezuelanas shouldn't turn a person off of the entire country or cause a person to cancel a trip.
my opinion, but Johan this is not meant to be a flame, just a difference of opinion. You are a respected member of this board who's opinion and views I trust!
cheers,
FORD

You can bring girls to your room without shakedown. You just have to meet girl in lobby. They are worried about crime (thiefs etc).
Awesome pool.
Dinky rooms.
Nice location.

Venezuela is nice place. Don't know why somebody who has never visited there would bad mouth it. Oh well - thats the internet for you.

I've been to Venezuela and agree the chicas are something else.
BUT, Venezuela is a scary place and things can go crazy some times, or all the time. I've seen taxis where you can't open the door handles form the inside, taxis where all the control panel dials are missing, taxis with aC vented from the muffler for openers.
My clients have told me not to walk on the steets at night even next to upscale hotels. and to use only the chicas that frequent the hotel lobby and bars, or via a service.
Problems abound at the airport. The sign with your name may be copied by a crook who takes you out to the country to rob and kill. I ask for advance information as to who will pick me up and a photo of the driver.
Well, that's enough for today.

I recently visited Caracas (2 weeks ago), did some walking around at night in downtown area and never got the feeling that I was not safe. I think as longs as your careful and don't attract attention to yourself you will be alright in just about anyplace. Apart from that, the chicas in Caracas are gorgeous and sexy. I stayed at the Radisson Eurobuilding and had a great time with a couple of girls from sexycaracas.com (Mandi & Veruska) and a great night at Angelus (Thanks to Ricker for the directions)
Well I just got back from Venezuela ... it was horrible ...
All the chicas were ugly and every Venezolano I met tried to rob and kill me ...
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
Great time again ... I have a girlfriend there now ... unbelievable chica ...
Can't wait to get back!
Like the Rastaman put it ... if you're afraid of it ... don't go.
The same horror stories of taxi driver ... robber / killers are all over S. America ... not just Caracas or Venezuela.
Take precautions ... have fun!
... by the way ...
I made a stop in Angelus while in Caracas ... the quality seemed to have dropped from what I've been used to there ... maybe I was just there on a bad night .... but also ...
A cab driver ... one that works out of the Angelus parking lot ... told me that the high quality chicas have migrated to a newer club called DIVAS ... located near Angelus.
Gotta check that out next time.

Hi friends,
I'm quite new in the forum for Caracas, I have more experience in Eastern europe. Sorry for the poor quality of my english.
I'm coming on sunday to Caracas.
I would like to meet real model stile escort( 1,75, slim body, smiling face, great attitude). The quality I have seen in the indipendent part of sexicaracas is not that high.
Does someone hase experience in using Vipmaximo or Caracas al desnudo-vip page? The photos are real? Quality of service is good for the price?
Any place or suggestion to spit with me?
Tks so much in advance

Divas, Caracas, Venezuela
This is my first posting on this site, so I’ll introduce myself before I describe Divas. I am an American who has lived in Caracas for three years. I like my girls immaculate, meaning gorgeous, with no or virtually no smell. Though I have visited many of the less pricey places mentioned on this board, I find that some of the girls at the lower end don’t take perfect care of themselves, so I pretty much stick to Angelus and Diva’s, with occasional visits to Morrison’s, Saxo, and Magnifique.
Divas is a new club, located in the upscale La Castellana area of Caracas (you can find directions at the club’s website). The owner is young, Canadian-educated, and speaks perfect English. He previously owned Fantasy’s and A.M.
Divas is by far the most upscale club in the city. The girls make good cash, so it has drawn many stars from Angelus and other clubs. Some of the girls are spectacular, most are good looking. The girls are charming and friendly without being overly aggressive. The main room is medium-sized, smaller than Saxo, larger than Magnifique, about the same size as Morrison’s.
The owner makes sure that at least one girl is always dancing, and employs a professional choreographer to keep the shows interesting in an arty way. Still, IMHO, it doesn’t compare with Angelus when girls are dancing on all seven poles.
The club has lap dance stalls, of course, and some very nice rooms in the back, decorated in an Arabian nights style, for longer sessions. These are far superior to the cramped, seedy rooms at Angelus, which have small beds, no ceiling, and security cameras overlooking each bed.
If money is not an issue, then Diva’s is the place to go, especially if you don’t want to bring a girl home or hassle with love hotels. If you’d rather take a girl home, the cost runs much higher than other clubs: $150 bar-fine per girl if you’re lucky, more likely $200. This compares with $60 or less at other clubs. (I think in terms of the Bs.2,500 black market rate.)
A final word of advice: Venezuela is a culture where a smile and a few friendly words go a long way in any situation. Taking the trouble to learn even a little Spanish and turning on the charm can get you a lot more than you paid for.

ever find yourself womanless or chemically unable to sleep at 5 a.m.? there are alternatives to going home and jerking off: after-hours clubs. these clubs cater to working women who want to wind down after a hard day's night. some of the girls are looking to pick up a little business, some just want to dance and have fun with their friends, and a few are willing to go home with you for free. don't be offended if you get the brush off. after-hours clubs are also great places to arrange to meet girls from strip clubs if you want to avoid the bar fine. men pay a cover of bs.10,000 or bs.20,000, but there are no bar fines. the clubs typically open at 3 a.m., but don't get going until after 5, when the strip clubs close. they're usually open until noon or later.
the mother of all after-hours clubs was a.m.. very upscale, it drew the best of the best, one stunner after another, and i stayed in touch with several girls i met there long after it closed. unfotunately, the authorities shut it down.
the best thing going now is the box. located on avenida casanova, very close to saxo and magnifique, it is "underground" and has no sign, but is identifiable by the small crowd around the door. one enters through a meter-high gap in a store-front shutter. can you say fire trap? as long as you can live with non-stop throbbing trance, the interior is alright. the crowd is rough, and there is a lot of coke snorting in the bathroom, but i've been there many times and never been hassled.
farther down avenida casanova is phenecia (or is it fenecia?). it has a proper front door, but the favorable comparisons with the box end there. same throbbing trance, but the crowd is very rough. there are a lot of male as well as female prostitutes. while drug use at the box is rep001tered and seems recreational, it is desperate at fenecia. someone slipped a friend of mine a mickey (i wasn't there at the time). as soon as he went down, a crowd pounced and got his cell phone, watch, and wallet. three other friends got him home. he was comatose for 10 hours. obviously i do not recommend the place!
Thanks for the DIVAs report ... I noticed definite quality reduction in Angelus on my last visit there a few weeks ago.
It's a shame because I really like the large floor area there and the shows like you mentioned.
Anyway ... I visited DIVAs a while back when it first opened ... seemed a little cramped ... I guess I was accustomed to Angelus.
I visited when they first opened, before they got the high quality chicas I've heard they have now.
Prob worth a second visit now.
I also heard from a couple of my friends that work at Angelus ... (guys) ... that another new place is opening soon ... I think they said it was called ... Bon Bons. More info later on that,
Suerte!

Responding to my review of Divas, an ISG member pm’d me asking if I thought there might be a club in Caracas that blows Divas, Angelus, and every other place discussed on this forum away. I’ve wondered the same thing ever since I got here. Half an hour in any shopping mall in the city, and you’ll see dozens of girls who would clean up in any pro joint. I used to live in Sao Paolo, and the cream there makes the best of Caracas look Bush League. I’m not knocking the pro Caraquenas, they’re fun, charming, sexy, and generally know when to back off. I just don’t want to give the impression that the scene here is world class.
That said, let’s move on to the rankings.
1. Angelus – enormous for a strip joint, it features five dance stages on three levels, with a total of seven poles. All are visible from every vantage point in the club, the highest through plexiglass from underneath! The three poles on the center stage are 20-25 feet high. The dancers perform some truly amazing acrobatics on these, risking injury from falls (one did hurt herself seriously during one of my visits). When Angelus’ show goes full on, it is a breathtaking spectacle. You’re sure to see a full show at midnight on weekends.
The quality of the girls on average has declined in recent months, but there are so many of them that you’re bound to find a few pearls. The two best looking pro-club ladies that I’ve come across in Caracas are still at Angelus.
Bar fines (“bottles of champagne”) are on the high side. The barmen will ask for as much as Bs. 200k per girl, but try to get it down to Bs. 120k. They’ll offer you different levels of champagne, but take the cheapest. Once the girls are out, they’re out. I usually pay the girls for two hours, because they’ll often settle in for the night, especially if they don’t have kids. This runs up to Bs. 200k depending on the girl.
There are some rooms, stalls really, in the back, for full on-site service. They are cramped, separated by thin boards, and have small beds, each overlooked by a security camera, very seedy and not to my taste.
I’ve taken slept with about 10 girls from Angelus, with many repeats, and have had nothing but positive experiences.
For the show, the variety of girls, and the price, Angelus is still my #1.
2. Divas – I wrote extensively about Divas in a prior posting. While the girls are better on average than Angelus, the artsy show, small size of the club, and outrageous prices don’t measure up. Still, it’s head and shoulders above #3. I’ve also slept with about ten girls from Divas and its predecessors and had nothing but good experiences with them as well.
3. Saxo – To be fair, I’ve only gone to Saxo in the wee hours, when things are winding down. It’s second in size to Angelus (and has the same owner), but with only one level I can’t see the shows being nearly as good. I’ve always found a chica worth leaving with though, at prices similar to Angelus. It’s in a dangerous area, but the doorman will find you a safe cab.
4. Magnifique – The most down-market of the five listed here, you can nonetheless always find a pearl or two. Prices are a bit lower than Angelus. It’s the smallest and most crowded club listed here, sometimes hard to find a seat. The show is run-of-the-mill. It’s around the corner from Saxo, and the doorman will also find you a safe cab. I’ve had two bad experiences from Magnifique, a cokehead who slipped away with my watch, and a girl who was not up to my standards of cleanliness.
5. Morrisons – Way past its heyday, this place always annoys me. I only go when I want to avoid seeing girls I know at other clubs, and because it’s down the street from my main non-pro spots. The “champagne” system is more complicated than a 1040 and amounts to management trying to control what the girl does with you once she’s out. Fuck that! I haven’t seen a girl worth the trouble there in a long time anyway, really. There are on-site rooms, but I’ve never tried them. The show is usually mediocre, at times pathetic. Despite its reputation and convenient location, don’t bother with this place.
I’ve been to 5 or 6 down-market places for one-time visits, not really my thing, so I won’t comment much on them. I’ve had bad experiences at two of them, one with management grossly inflating the bill (can’t remember the name), another with a girl whose crotch stench might as well have been the Berlin Wall (the Capri Casanova). I am curious about trying the Embassy: Prospocito’s listing mentions that the girls there speak English, which is a rarity. Also looking forward to following up on Ricker’s tip about Bon Bons.
Don’t bother looking for streetwalkers. They exist, but the authorities vigorously and for the most part successfully keep things indoors.
Coming soon: A 2 or 3 part review of non-pro spots and prospects.
Gringocaraca,
Very good posts! I lived in Caracas for three years (96/99) so I know my way around, although some of the places you report about didn t exist at that time...
I was travelling to Cuba then whenever I could so I was not very familiar with the pro scene there, but apparently I missed a lot! I remember though that fitness centers were perfect places to meet girls, pro and non pro. Speaking spanish was a must!
I am thinking of going to Caracas in December, so here are a few questions I hope an expert like you will be able to answer >
I don t like the idea of having sex at the club s premises...is it possible to get the girl s mobile number and call her the day after? in fact, I am friends with the manager of a four star hotel where I stayed at for a while, so to bring a girl there would not be a problem.
Last year I made a three day stop in Caracas on my way to Brazil and I got the impression that caraquenas became addicted to silicone...and I can t stand enhanced tits! Do I have a good chance of falling in with slim big natural titted girls? what is your assessment?
Thanks in advance

Tavares,
It is very possible to get cell numbers and call the next day, if fact I should have recommended that in my post. Many of the girls are delighted to get a night off from the club, as long as they get what they would have earned hustling drinks and doing lap dances, which isn't a lot. If you find one you like, invite her to the beach. If she likes you, you'll get far more than you pay for.
Tons of silicon here at all social levels, and I don't like it either. Some of the work is very shoddy. All I can say is keep your eyes open, it's usually not hard to tell.
Happy hunting,
Gringo

like most latinas, caraquenas of all classes are outgoing and friendly. if approached in a confident, respectful manner, they’ll generally give you a shot for at least a minute or two. if you see a girl who’s with a guy but not hanging all over him, they’re probably not a couple. it is perfectly acceptable to approach them and read the situation. don’t expect a 100% kill rate, just relax and enjoy.
two factors have the greatest effect on the speed with which the panties come off: social class of the girl (the lower the quicker) and your level of spanish. if you’re visiting and don’t speak any spanish, unless you’re a very good looking guy, count on several days working a well-educated girl with no certain pay off. two other factors are your willingness and ability to dance salsa & merengue and your apparent wealth. i’m assuming most guys reading this can pay for dates without grousing. but, if money is your only game, go straight to a pro establishment. don’t worry if you can’t dance. it helps, but it’s not crucial. a cell phone will come in very handy.
shopping malls are a great place to start. i recommend centro comercial el recreo or cc sambil. you’ll see a wide variety of shapes, sizes, ages, and social classes in both. caraquenas are exceptionally hot and sexy, and they like to show it when they shop. sales girls and customers are easy to approach. cc santa fe, el tolon, and paseo las mercedes are also worthwhile, but are smaller and generally limited to higher classes. you can also stroll down la sabana grande, a walking street filled with shops, cafes, and street vendors. it’s become shabby, so don’t stay alone after the vendors shut down and don’t walk west of plaza venezuela.
though the rumbas don’t get started until around 11, there are plenty of places to have a drink early in the evening. sitting at a café in sabana grande watching the talent walk by can be a pleasure. safer after 9 or so are the sidewalk bars in las mercedes: la cueva del oso, wassup, and trenchtown to name a few. a little spot across from el tolon is very popular (i don’t know its name). lots of young hotties at all the places i’ve mentioned, but probably a waste of time for older guys unless you just want to enjoy the eye candy.
there must be hundreds of salsa & meringue clubs in the city. el mani in el bosque is widely regarded as the s&m club with the best live bands. while i’m not much of a dancer, i like the place because it is one of the few clubs in the city where different social classes mix with ease. the area is a little rough, so you might want to make arrangements with a cab driver to take you home in advance. a great place to pick up if you can dance, worth the cultural experience if you can’t.
the majority of mid- to down-scale clubs that i’m familiar with play mixes of s&m, reggaeton, rock, and electronica with a little hip hop thrown in. they all seem pretty much the same to me. youngish crowds, cheap but strong drinks, very receptive chicas, some hot, some not. i’ve been to a few in rough parts of town, but only under the protection of venezuelan friends. there is no reason for a visitor to venture out of las mercedes to find this kind of spot. like i said, they all seem the same to me, so you can pick one at random and have a good time. the beer station and u bar are always packed. maroma is popular with an older crowd. for details and more options, check rumbacaracas.com, a great source of information on events, clubs, bars, and restaurants in the eastern half of the city.
if you’re an electronica fan, try elmo in las mercedes, just around the corner from texaco. the crowd is young and a little druggy. not a great spot for chicas, but alright on a good night.
la belle epoque in bello monte is in a somewhat rougher neighborhood, but it’s unique in caracas and worth a stop. it will appeal to many younger guys and older guys with a sense of adventure. ages range from 18-50, with guys tending to be older. in a culture that seems very conformist to a northern eye, la belle is a breath of fresh air. along with el mani, it is one of the few night spots in town where different classes mix. the main room always has live local acts, many of them very good. depending on the night, you might hear acid jazz, all sorts of world music, reggae, rock, and fusions of latin with many types of music. a must for the music aficionado. the second room used to be all chill-out with visuals. the last time i went though, it was s&m, an unfortunate switch. the back room is trance. the place starts slow, but is packed by 2. it closes at 6 a.m., an hour or more later than most spots. la belle is one of the few places in town that charges a cover (bs. 10,000). surprisingly, the chicas aren’t as hot or as receptive as a lot of run-of-the-mill spots, but they’re not bad either. drinks are a little more expensive.

Always check the sexycaracas website when I go to Caracas on business... Every time I go I spend at least one hour with thich chick Marylin. She is listed in the independent ladies section.
I met her 3 years ago when she worked for a studio and ever since got hooked. She is not tall, but has a sumptuous ass and great tits - silicone though.
She is very hardcore, outgoing, chatty, does not speak english - at least I think so - but is so fun to be with that I do not think it will be a problem.
I try to have different girls, but every time I go back they are out of the business, but this girl is always there and always willing.
Besides her, I recommend contacting the Exotic rose agency, the girls are very well mannered, very professional, but also fun to be with, their prices are a bit steep, but in March I spent 2 hours with a beautiful young girl, who was just starting in the business - I was her first - and man, was she fun.
Hope this helps, have fun and remember to wear your condom.
Gringocaraca ...
You sure make a nice report ... muchas gracias ... looking forward to your upcoming reports too.
As far as getting tel. numbers from the chicas de Angelus, etc. ... I do it all the time ... I've had several "girlfriends" from Angelus doing this.
Outside the club .... it's much easier to relax with the chica ... and like you said Gringocaraca ... it's fairly easy to do ... but much much easier, obviously if you speak espanol ... almost essential at least basic ability.
Also ... I like this salsa club that is located down in the parking garage very near to Angelus.
I'll make a stop in there sometimes to have a drink and check out the chicas before heading to Angelus.
I've ended up meeting chicas there a couple times and never making it to Angelus ... which is OK too.
Well, thankfully, I'm heading back to Caracas next week again ... not for mongering this time though.
I met a really hot / sweet chica in the el Recreo mall a month or so ago ... last week we explored a little German town outside Caracas called Colonia Tolvar and the beaches to the east of Caracas ...
This time heading to Maracay and then to the coast towards Puerto Cabello.
Should be fun ... nothing like hanging out with a new chica and feeling the "love".
Suerte!

Do you pay that 250,000 Bol. she lists as her price for service?

Ricker, I do not ask for the discount. If you think what these ladies are earning with their jobs I am more than willing to pay that price.
In Europe a chick like would cost 3 to 4 times as much and maybe not that fun. I pay what they ask for, do not bargain and enjoy the evening.

Right on again Ricker, the salsa place in the basement with Angelus is called El Sarao. Only been there once cuz I'm usually on a mission when I go to CC Campo Bello, plus I can't listen to Salsa all night, but a great tip for visitors.
Better to get the girl's phone number without giving her yours. Some will call ten times the next day and beyond, which you don't want if you change your mind.

I understand what you're saying ... obviously the treatment you can get from some of these chicas is fantastic.
I take care of the senoritas too ... especially the good ones ... but ...
... to pay 300,000 Bol for 2 hours and 1,000,000 for all night in Venezuela is incredible.
Yes ... a chica in Europe / US charges more ... that's why it sucks there.
That's why it's so expensive in San Jose, Costa Rica too ... because guys come down with the same attitude ... these chicas are awesome ... "I'll pay whatever they ask" ... and the price keeps going up and up ... because ... the chicas know they'll get it from these guys.
Cunni ... I am absolutely not dogging you at all ... I understand where you're coming from ... you're getting good service ... and for you it's a fair price ... and convenient ... ... I guess that's what the sexy caracas website is for ... have at it.
I'm sure your favorite chica Marylin cancels all other appointments and runs to your place when you call ... you pay her muucho and I'm sure you treat her nicely also ... jackpot!
Just to say though ... for those prices or less actually ... you could get yourself the hottest chicas from the clubs that Gringocaraca talks about ... and if you meet them outside the club ... you could have them for a week or more! ... I've done it ... lots ... also, believe it or not ... if the chica ends up liking you, she'll feel embarrased taking any payment ... but of course you're going to insist ... and yes, she needs to eat, so she'll take it.
Just from experience ... yes, obviously these chicas want and need the money ... and will take it of course ... but paying a FAIR price and then TREATING the chica nicely and with kindness goes a long long way too ... everybody wins.

Except maybe for the hottest girls, SexyCaracas is way overpriced. My strategy is basically like Rickers: pay a club girl her asking price for two hours (which usually ends up being much more) and treat her well so that she wants more time with me. I can then name your price as long it's reasonable and I'm subtle about it. I asked a club owner what his average employee turnover is. He told me two months, which indicates that the work isn't much fun. Making it good for the girl and she'll make it good for you.
My limited experience with SexyCaracas is mixed. Frenesi (not currently listed) had a great body and huge natural tits, but she was a clock watcher and must have answered her cell 10 times in 2 hours. Not to be repeated.
On the other hand, Karelys (along with Cristal) came to a buddy's apartment for a bachelor party and got so horny she begged any of us to fuck her there and then, even though we'd only paid for a lesbo show (none of us had the balls for public sex). By the way, Karelys is hot in her pics and even hotter in real life. Cristal is dowright ugly. Maybe I'll call Karelys one fo these days. But, my birthday is coming up and I'm tempted to open a package with Adara and Salma in it!

yes it can sometimes get a little rough in there.. but that's ok, it's part of the atmosphere.
the box attracts a lot of the strippers from magnifique, as it's a block or less away. funny thing about that place is that it was one of the top drawing gay (aka homesexual) clubs in the city a couple of years back.
you sound like a very observant guy so i'll read your comments with interest.
that said, we have a different approach to our women. you couldn't drag me to a place like diva's if my life depended on it (though i suppose i'll check it out just once just to say i've been there) and i hated angelus with a passion.
i can't remember a single time i met a "smelly" venezolana, and that includes places that might be considered "dives". of course, i exercise great discretion in "dives" (or anywhere else really) so that makes my odds a little better.
one thing that should be emphasized a little more though is the fact that the pro girls who are hanging out there after "work" tend not to be interested in "working" at the moment. it's their free time.. their relaxation time. they'll hang out with their girlfriends.. drink, dance, do drugs, whatever.
for you to grab one out, you'll have to either rely more on your natural charm and normal seductive powers or you'll have to flash some cash the expenditure of which when you're more sober will have you asking:
what the fuck did i do that for?
speaking of "why the fuck" :)
why the fuck are you talking about belle epoque, caracas's great "secret" in regards to nightlife?
you're dead on correct (again) in saying that the girls in there are seemingly "less impressionable" than other places, but the atmosphere and the music can not be beat.
though not to worry, most of the guys reading this who'll have the balls to venture out to bello campo (or find a taxista who knows the place, cuz not all do) probably won't get in lol
(when it gets busy in there, they "work the rope")
(and if you're over 35 or look like it, you'll look like the "old man in the club" there or in any of the discos) (and after hours places)

I will be @ the Trinidad Carnival Feb 23-Friday - March 1st -Wednesday, but I wasn't scheduled to return to the states until March 5th, so I wanted to hop over to Venezuela since its sooo close (15 miles), wanted to see how I can make that happen...via ferry or short hop plane? Anyone with any information on how to do this I would greatly appreciate it!

Catire,
I look at least 35, and now doubt I'm at times perceived as the "old guy at the disco," but I couldn't care less. In fact, my non-pro success rate is highest among hot lower middle class 19-22 year olds, much better than hot 30+ middle and upper class caraquenas. I leave the "old guy" sensibilities to uptight North Americans. Latinas simply don't care as much, and often prefer guys 10+ years older than they are.
That said, I don't spend much time rooting around places that target the under-21 crowd. There are plenty of spots that are great for 25+ guys that attract fantastic women of a variety of ages.
I've never had trouble getting into any club (except one, Vintage), and I'm almost always let right in whether there's a line or not, including at Belle Epoque. I'm not a particularly good looking guy, average to above average. My best advice for older guys is to dress nicely, in a way that conveys prosperity without being flashy (and leave the fucking blazers to the pretentious and insecure!).
Interesting about The Box. Very few gays now, but many of the girls are lesbians.

A close as they are, it's easier to get to Venezuela from Miami than from Trinidad. Flights are spotty and expensive. A ferry runs from Port of Spain to Guiria on Wednesdays and is only for the most adventurous because Guiria doesn't offer much. Try BWIA for flights.

I agree with you about the Box, you have to bring a little game. Also, it's dark enough inside that it can be hard to tell what a girl looks like. A friend and I negotiated Bs. 60,000 each for two ladies, but when we got outside their faces were so ugly that we made quick excuses and took off.

This report is pretty long, so I've split it in two and CAPPED place names to make it more user friendly. The second part follows.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the middle- and upper-class (muc) Caraquenas are the hottest women in the world. There are genetic reasons. Perhaps no other culture values feminine beauty (distinct from sensuality) more. For many generations, marrying a beautiful poor woman has brought just as much prestige to a Venezuelan man as marrying an average girl from a wealthy family. The result is an extraordinary breed of woman, many of whom speak English.
This is not to say that Caracas is the best place in the world for sex with non-pro 9’s & 10’s. (IMHO, Sao Paolo is.) Whether they believe it or not, most mucs live at least superficially by the adage that a woman has nothing but her reputation. They live with their parents until they are married, and have to account for their whereabouts well into their 20’s. Despite abundant evidence that men are pigs, most believe that their “principe azul” (knight in shining armor) is just having a little trouble finding them. So, courtships of varying lengths are required, too long for someone on a short visit, a gamble for a longer stay. A good looking guy with good game can manage it. Otherwise, you need either great game or lots of time. On a positive note, since they have a shot at moving up the social ladder, a lot of smoking lower middle class girls (who aren’t as troublesome but require Spanish), frequent the places I’ll describe. If you can postpone the mongering until later in the evening, here are some suggestions for rubbing elbows, if nothing else, with world class beauty.
In an earlier post, I recommended wandering around CC Sambil and CC El Recreo. CC SANTA FE is smaller, but is at the center of several muc neighborhoods. It has a gym on the top floor that is unreal.
The cafes at CC SAN IGNACIO and El TOLON are great for happy hour. El Tolon also has a half dozen posh bars and restaurants hidden away on the 5th floor, which get busy after work until 1 or 2, but the mall has nothing open late.
ATLANTIQUE and NEWS CAFE, two blocks east of Plaza Francia in Altamira, are stylish places to get the evening started. Great for muc dates too, either dinner or drinks.
MALABAR in Las Mercedes is another great date spot. Although the lounge isn’t intended to be a pick up spot, I’ve stumbled onto some winners there.
The bars in the steak houses of Las Mercedes are literally meat markets for women in their 30’s and 40’s. TERRAZZA attracts the best. Go early in the evening.
LE CLUB is private, and its name accurately reflects the parochialism of upper class Caraquenos. Still, getting introductions never hurts, so go if you're invited.
Continued.

Upscale club and bar owners gravitated to CC SAN IGNACIO as soon as it opened. Only a smattering of options remain elswhere. Viewed in the light of safety, it makes sense. You can crawl San Ignacios numerous options without concern.
San Ignacio contains two tower blocks, a four story concourse, and has many bars and cafes on its north and south faces. Many additional bars, cafes, and discos are spread around the interior of the concourse. It is in and of itself an architectural marvel, maybe the most imaginative multi-functional building that I have ever seen. I could go on and on about it, but this is not Architectural Digest. Suffice it to say that San Ignacio lends a bit of credence to muc cultural aspirations.
Two good places to start are SUKA and Whiskey Bar. Suka was created in the Buddha Bar image and transitions from lounge to house as the evening progresses. Lots of very hot women aged 21-35 most evenings, including local fashion models and actresses. The ratio can be ridiculously favorable until about 11 when guys start pouring in. Still, the place is a lot of fun until 3 or so. Getting numbers is easy in Suka and can lead to false optimism. Actually getting somewhere with an 8+ is a different matter.
WHISKEY BAR is ridiculously pretentious, but finding a piece of ass is a lot easier there. No beer served, so take it slow or prepare to get hammered. The music is mostly 80’s rock, blaring louder than it should in a meat market. The women have hungry eyes, so even the most obtuse guys can read them. They’re generally hungry for boyfriends, but I’ve gotten laid and gotten a BJ on different occasions without having to leave the parking garage. Friends have had good luck there too.
When it’s time to move on, check out a new place on Nivel Chaguaramos (the second level) called LI BAR. It is unique in San Ignacio in that I’ve seen pro’s subtly plying their trade there. Most were 6-8, but two were 9+ and looked expensive. The crowd is youngish and the music is the standard salsa/rock/electronic mix. I was alone and shit-faced the first time I went in. After just watching for a while, I discretely puked up two semi-digested arepas on the side of the dance floor, walked to the bathroom to tidy myself, returned to find a cute little non-pro in my spot, chatted her up for a while (pointing out the chunks that some oaf had left under her pretty feet), almost got her to leave with me, happened onto her as I was driving out, and took her home for some pretty good sex. How’s that for a comeback play?
Two levels above Li Bar is VINTAGE, mostly early 20’s to early 30’s. A lot of very hot, very approachable women, with better odds than Suka. Standard mix of music. I have witnessed the bouncers, themselves people of color, exclude people trying to get in on the basis of race.
An interesting little spot, tucked away in the back, one level below Vintage, is BACKSTAGE, a gay bar. The reason it is interesting is that it attracts top Venezuelan models and actresses, who go because they don’t get hassled by guys (much). Hats off to anyone who can get anything going there, I only know one guy who has. Still, stop in for ½ hour between 2 and 3 to see some truly amazing talent. Inside, the music is house and trance. You can get a breath of fresh air in the outer lounge.
There must be another 20 places in San Ignacio that I haven’t mentioned. Many cater to the very young, but have a look around, maybe you’ll find something interesting that I haven’t noticed.
Las Mercedes lost its upscale crown to San Ignacio some years ago. Recently though, SAWU opened. Muc pretentiousness is at its most garish here. Prints of fox chases, classical dark wood furniture and shit like that. Standard music mix. Still, the place is crawling with gorgeous, approachable 20-40 y/o mucs. Fills up after 11. I have also witnesses racial discrimination at Sawu.

Yeah I checked Aeropostal and it costs $367 Round Trip!!! From Caracas to Port of Spain which is too much for a country 15 miles away!!! Do you know when the return ferry from Guiria returns to Port of Spain? Would'nt mind checking it out there for a few days then returning...any action there? Let me know. Thanks!

The ferry runs only once a week, on Wenesdays, that means a one week commitment. It costs $121 according to the Guia Valentina Quintera, which must be with car? You can email grupoacosta@cantv.net for more info.
Never been to Guiria myself, but I don't imagine that there's much there. Only three posadas listed. I have been to a lot of other places in Estado Sucre. It has some fantastic beaches - Playa Medina, Playa Piu Piu, San Juan de las Goldones, and its two peninsulas are fascinating. Don't know about mongering, probably ok in Cumana, maybe in Carupano too. But, women are easy to talk with if you have some Spanish, though the accent is harder to follow than most in Vz.
I doubt that you can rent a car in Guiria. If you're willing to bus it, it could be a great adventure.

Will you have time to write about the beach scene ?
Thanks once more.

dude, once again you're so correct with your social/cultural assessments it's not even funny. San Ignacio was already getting hot just before I left, and considering the factors, it's no suprise that the hottest nightlife has gravitated there from Las Mercedes.
re Malabar, I dont know how it is these days, but it was kind of entertainingly pretentious when I was there about 2 years ago. (and preposterously expensive)

Excellent report!
Well presented overview on the non-pro scene in Caracas. It is great to know where to buy it but equally as important to know where to go to test one's ability to close in the native language.
Keep it up...

Atlantas finest,
The price you were quoted for the flight between Caracas and Trinidad actually isnt that bad, 15 miles away is Venezuela, but not where you want to go. By plane its going to be about a 3 hour flight!!
I head over there on business every month or so for the weekend I used to think the same way, how the hell can they charge so much for such a short flight, until I did it . Then I looked at the map carefully. Caracas is WAY! up the coast from Trinidad, and the only plane they use is a little turbo prop. So that portion of the flight sucks.
Whatever you do , do not use BWIA airlines,(This was the carrier I was using) No end of delays, cancellations, you name it. They have now wrecked three vacations for me . When its all said and done and you write them a letter , they send you back a voucher for $100 bucks, if you are lucky. Mind you this is after they have delayed you , not a couple of hours, but sometimes a whole day , or two !!!!.
Also , if you are going to Trindad , make sure and book your flight so that basically all of your time is before Canival Mon & Tues. You want to be leaving on Wed or thurs the latest. Its almost like someone turns off a switch . The whole island goes dead after Tues night. Like I mean DEAD!! You want to be there for all the pre carnival parties.
I wouldnt try too hard to stay in the city, basically you are in the band partying all day, no one leaves to head home?? why? All the pre Carnival parties you will have to drive too anyways.
Hope I was of some help .

If you’re only interested in worthwhile spots (and who can blame you), read the next four paragraphs and skip the rest.
The closest beach to Caracas worth the trip is Choroni, 4 hours to the west, north of Maracay. During the week, it is a sleepy fishing village, but on weekends it fills up with all sorts, from barrio to middle class, from Maracay, Valencia, and Caracas. It is also the only Venezuelan beach that I’m aware of that attracts significant numbers of foreign tourists outside of Margarita and Los Roques, but they are very much in the minority. While it’s far from world class, it has the best combination of natural beauty and tail-chasing near Caracas that I’m aware of. You can get by without Spanish, but that narrows the field significantly. Non-pro prospects are very good among all classes and with foreign tourists.
I’ve never come across pros in Choroni, though I haven’t really looked. BUT, if you’re willing to buy yourself an expensive dinner, try Casabe, a little bit out of town. The waitresses and hostesses are VERY hot, and the eye contact and body language strongly suggest semi-pro possibilities. I haven’t been in the right company to pursue.
Most of the daytime action centers on Playa Grande, which lives up to its name. You’ll want to spend most of your trolling time there, and if hooking up is your priority, I don't recommend going elswhere until you get something going on the big beach. A trio of small beaches, collectively known as El Diario, are a 20-30 min. hike from the town. Turn left at the water and climb along the rocks to reach a small patch of sand where nude bathing is tolerated (not worth the hike solely for gawking). From Puerto Colombia (the name of the town that’s actually on the water and the focus of action, Choroni itself is a little inland), you can jump on a fishing boat to try several beaches inaccessible by land. Chuao and Cepe are popular enough for trolling, the others are either too small or unknown to me. If you have a car and can get directions, there are a couple of waterfalls worth a stop on the main road.
Choroni has a few nighttime options. Early on, there’s not much to do except eat, drink, and chat up whomever comes your way. As midnight approaches, head to the Malecon for the Tambores, Afro-Caribbean drums and dancing. There’s a small disco behind the Malecon, but skip that if something is going on at the casa on the way to Playa Grande (on the left, you can’t miss it at night).
Closer to the city, I wish that I could report that the Caracas beach scene kicks ass. It should. But it sucks ass. If you’ve read my prior posts, you’ve noticed that I prefer places where classes mix. Nowhere in Venezuela is the gulf between rich and poor as starkly evident as it is between Maiquetia and Los Caracas, the most heavily visited and populated stretch of coast near the city. The wealthy and middle class sequester themselves behind walled and gated private clubs. While these are pleasant, the members have known each other since early childhood and abide by a code of conduct that makes it hard to break in. Like Le Club, go if you’re invited for the contacts, but don’t expect anything to happen then and there.
The public beaches are narrow, jammed on the weekends, and strewn with trash. The vast majority are barrio (not sure where the lower-middle class go). The women are ugly (there are many beautiful barrio girls, I just haven’t seen many at the Caracas beaches). The men get shit-faced and annoying. Some guys might find it to their liking, or may have found better spots, but not me. If you’ve found anything good, please post!
Higuerote lies 2½ hours to the east. While the class dynamic isn’t as stark, it’s there, and the beach itself is crummy for all. There are plenty of hotels and mini resorts. Maybe I haven’t given the place enough of a chance, but I’m not impressed.
If you have 4wdr (not necessary but recommended), there are many beautiful beaches between Los Caracas and Higuerote. Not great for chicas, but you might luck into some. Go with two or more vehicles, because the main local industry seems to have become armed robbery.
Thanks for the compliments the beach report is coming up. Catire and Ricker, I hope that you have something better to report than I do!
I love Choroni, the only problem is that the ride there from Maracay gives me a huge fucking headache, with all those constants twists and turns along a tiny road, especially is sitting in back seat. etc.
when I stayed there, I found the action a bit wanting at night. In fact it was dead, aside from the drinking and tambores along the Malecon.
the time to go is on weekends and during the seasons when most young Venezuelans go there (which would be the summer when they're out of school).
since Choroni is a lot closer to Maracay than it is to Caracas, you can also meet up with a lot of girls from Maracay (and Valencia, even)
the scene at Maiquetia beach is one reason I never really went there (plus the fact that I found the transport a pain in the ass, so I would just tan outside on the cement).
there IS however, another beach in the La Guaira area that the middle classes hit, I was told the name but it now escapes me. THAT would be the place one should go.
(the "sifrino" scene you describe at the likes of Le Club and other places also annoys the living fuck out of me)

Some friends of an expat acquaintance (now gone) started putting on parties at the little house on the way to Playa Grande, which has immensely improved the nightlife. There's a Bs. 5,000 cover but the drinks are cheap. I'm 2/4 on bedding girls I've met up with there (after chatting on the beach) the night I've met them, which beats the living daylights out of my Caracas %. One was barrio from Maracay, a 7 or 8, the other middle class from Caracas and spoke excellent English, about a 6. It's not the Litoral de Sao Paolo, but worth the effort for anyone in North-Central Venezuela.
Catire, I actually think that the drive there is pretty cool!
If neither of us knows about it, I expect that I'll have as much luck finding a middle class public beach near La Guaira as I did being elected Pope. But I'll put some feelers out. Something probably existed before '99, but is now washed away.

Very good post, as usual.
Funny you mention the Sao Paulo's Litoral Norte (Ubatuba, Mariesas, ect). The beach scene there is really good, nightlife is fabulous during high season, yet curiously Litoral Norte remains quasi-unknown by gringos.

as to Choroni drive, yes it is very cool, but not if you're in the back seat (I got very queasy) or if you have little patience for an hour long drive thru twists and turns, a fucked up road.. and God forbid that one of those trucks and or buses catches you unaware and blasts their horn, you'll probably lose control of the car and roll down the cliff.

i recently went to caracas and thought i would update the brethren mongers. upon arrival to maiquetia airport, i noticed several construction improvements have been completed. the arrival of passengers occurs in the upper floor exclusively. in spite of my late arrival (11: 45pm), reynaldo, my trusted driver was there to receive me. imho there are ways to cut corners and save money, but when it come to transportation, i like to err on the side of safety. reynaldo speaks english and has a well maintained vehicle. you can fin him at venezueladriver. com he took me to my hotel and after checking in, we went on a scouting drive. we visited divas nightclub. the place is two blocks from plaza miraflores and in a nice office building. you walk down from the first floor and enter the place through bank vault. the place is medium size and there were around 40 girls on a tuesday night. the girls ranged from 6 to solid 10s. the establishment wanted 400, 000bs for take-out. i always get cel numbers to hook up later, thus avoiding the ridiculous bar fines. we had a couple of beers there and then went to saxon nightclub, which is close to the gran melia hotel. this place is quite big and unfortunately had only about 20 girls, with only a few 9s. again, a tuesday night.
i decided to call it a night and figured i would call-in from a list i had compiled off the el universal newspaper. this is a fruitless excercise if you don't speak spanish or talk to reynaldo in advance. he will make the calls for you and pick-up and deliver your selection.
the nexty day, i was quite busy and could not get off from work until 7p. at that time i decided to get a massage. i had done some research and thought i'd try spa mystic moment 212 271 0186. i had heard good things about a girl that goes by the name of germany (go figure). i arrived at the place which is about 15 min from downtown in a penthouse office suite. i called ahead and confirmed that full service was 100, 000bs (around $45 at the official rate).
upon arrival, i was treated to a beverage (water, whisky or beer) and a parade of the available girls. there were only about 10 girls available and only 2 that struck my fancy. germany was busy at the moment. i selected a girl by the name of veruska. she is not in the online gallery, about 5'2'', slim hot body and perky breasts. i chose full service. she took of her top off and proceeded to deliver a nice massage asking me the things i liked and how i liked to be treated. we struck up a nice conversation while she continued to relax and excite me skillfully. i responded by caressing and sucking her breasts which she enjoyed. thirty minutes into this very stimulating experience, she asked if i had ever enjoyed the "hielito" (little ice cube). i responded no. she gave me a devilish smile and grabbed a piece of ice from my cup and started running it around my thighs and groin. i had to be peeled off the ceiling.
i would have thought this would be torture, but it actually was quite excitin and only the beginning. she put the ice cube in her mouth and proceeded to give me a covered bj. this girl was astounding! i had to stop her as the whole thing was bringing me to the edge. i proceeded to pay attention to her clit and kiss her neck which she enjoyed immensely. when it came time to mount her, she said, we weren't done witht the ice cube. she grabbed another one and inserted it into her vagina.
she grabbed my penis and put it right in. this was quite a surprise, but it turned out to be quite memorable. needless to say, we melted the ice and continued with some very athletic sex. once i came, she proceeded to clean me and took me to their shower, where she lathered me and helped dry me off. i gave her 20, 000bs tip and got her cel number for a later visit. this girl was total gfe and from my research, pretty close to the overall experience in this mp.
caracas is a nice place to monger if you have the time and a good driver. venezuelan girls are imho the most beautiful girls on the planet. i have sampled colombianas and orientals too, but venezuelans are quite special.
monger on.

This is a recently passed law that makes it illegal to buy or sell dollars at other than the official rate.
I'm wondering if it's being enforced ie have they cleared out the money changers from the airport etc.
The law provides for fines amounting to 2 times the value of the transaction.
El Universal no longer publishes the parallel dollar rate.
The Chavez government made it illegal to exchange $ on the black market. If caught you can be fined and imprisoned.
This does not stop the exchange of foreign currency just takes it away from the open. You have to be very careful going forward.
For example I understand that there are many people offering to exchange currency at the airport even today after the new law is in place. Don't do it. In my opinion corrupt officials will figure out they can make money by preying on tourist with $$$. If they catch you (the exchanger maybe their partner) they will scare you with arrest. And you are likely to end up with neither dollars or bolivares. It's a matter of time.
You must now work a little harder to exchange your $$..
I am sure local board members such as Catire and others who reside in Caracas can hook you up with a local that will help you get a better rate for your bucks away from the eyes of government officials

It should definitely be mentioned that there are many cases of counterfeit Bolivares being sold to unsuspecting foreigners. Be careful who you change your money with.
I was warned about this by the locals. Once I settled in though, my hosts were able to get me a better than avergage exchange rate without any worries about the money being bad.

I read the law and you can't be imprisioned unless you're exchanging thousands of dollars. That's why I posted that the fine is 2 times the amount of the transaction.
There's a link off the Universal page for both the law itself and a FAQ.
Does anyone happen to know how the law has affected the black market rate ie is it higher or lower than it was before the law went into effect.

Hi,
besides all the hassle you need to go through to change $$$ or Euros I have heard and read on some Dutch and German boards about Isla Margarita that there is a lot of SCAMS with ATM's too. Peope couldn't get money out....but after getting home they saw that money was off there bancaccount! Or in some worse cases the ATM just took their card in for some reason. Also on Margarita Island lots of criminals like to rob you when being at an ATM.
These (and some more) were the reasons NOT to go to Venezuela and I went to the DR for my last trip.
I never regreted that choice.

Hi all. Thanks to all posters who have supplied a vast amount of info for my trip. I'm planning to be down in CCS next week. If anyone is interested in hanging out, please PM me. I'm early 30's and speak fluent Spanish (padres de Chile). New to the mongering scene, having spent time in Cuba and DR. Will be checking out the pro and non-pro scene. Leaving those high-priced sexycaracas.com chicas as a last resort. Will post reports upon my return.
Need some help on finding a hotel. Hotel Paseo Las Mercedes has gotten good reviews but does anyone know the price? I've seen $68 posted on this board but their website indicates $100. What's the deal? Does their website show gringo prices? Should I call them directly? Can anyone recommend anything else? PLEASE HELP!
If anyone wants to hang out, drop me a line. I plan to leave on Monday so if anyone needs anything brought down from Toronto, Canada let me know.

It seems to me that Ave. Casanova has got alot of sex action along that street. Can anyone tell me what to expect there (SWs, bars, niteclubs, love hotels)? And is it safe at night?
Thanks for any info you can give me -- bayboy

I had no problem with ATMS in Caracas.
Disregard postings from people who have never visited Venezuela.
Only issue with ATMS is Bolivar is so week it takes multiple withdrawals to get out a couple hundred bucks.
I thought the chicas win Venezuela were super hot. Definitely hit a Samba club the chicas love to dance!

Heading to Caracas very soon, I need to know what are the best clubs in the city. I want smoking hot exotic chicks only. Price is not a object, but I want only prime girls that give awesome action.

You may have forgotten to disclose that the exchange rate given at ATMs is the "official" rate, so anyone following your advice will get very little money for their dollars.
Best thing is to bring cash in Venezuela and exchange it in Caracas.
There is a great difference from the oficial rate. It is also not advisable to use a credit card.
Last february we got much lesser exhange rates at Purto la Cruz and Isla Margarita.
So, plan ahead your expenses.

Try hotel Avila in San Bernardino area. Old hotel but in a fantastic location, you can have breakfast by the pool, spacious rooms, satellite tv, 60 US breakfast included, girl friendly.
I am going to stay there myself between Dec 3rd and 6th for an update on the Caracas mongering scene.

Hello guys.
I will be soon in Caracas.
There is a lot of websites with service providers, but that is kind

Can you recommend chicas that you have personally used

I was in Sabana Grande on January 2. It was dead, dead, dead.
I was so desperate that I stopped by the "La Fantasia" and gladly paid the 220,000 Bs for a bottle of champagne, a room and a girl.

Hi all,
The Morrison is located about one and a half Square to the east from San ignacio Mall, in Chacao/La Castellana border. Is like passing in front of the mall towards the Altamira Square, at the right side of the road (not visible from the avenue, you have to go a little down in one of the streets)
For what i heard, too costly and no rooms, you have to empty your pockets and sell your family just to cover the exit fee.
I've been reading reports that the bridge that connects Caracas to the international airport has collapsed or been closed for safety reasons, and that the only way to get to the airport is via an old, winding mountain road that goes through some of the worst slums of Caracas. I have a round trip ticket to Caracas a few months hence, my idea being to use Caracas as the starting point for a trip via airpass throughout South America. Now I am rethinking this, maybe just start my trip somewhere else, or just skip Venezuela, or at least Caracas, altogether. I'd like to know if anyone has tried getting to/from the airport since the bridge has been out of service. Maybe the press is exaggerating the whole thing. Also, I wonder if there is helicopter service from the airport to downtown Caracas; that may be the easiest solution. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Lorenzo
The way from airport to Caracas takes now between 3 - 4 hours instead of one hour and the taxi cost is around 200.000 Bs. Thats a little bit painfully but do not be scared about that. You are not alone on that road, there is a lot of traffic and a lot of police / military guys at the road. You may be should avoid to travel there late night. I drived that way yesterday two times, the second time around 2 AM at night.
You heard correct senor ... the main road is closed ... pain in the butt.
I was just there ... they're saying at least a few months to fix the problem.
There is another airport in the city itself ... don't know much about it though or who flies there.

It seems to be the cancer of this goverment, as many main roads to Caracas suffer from the same agony. The authorities just closed the way to Maiquetia by now, leaving the old road as the mayor way to get to La Guaira and back (now is about 3Hrs of a very unpleasant journey).
The taxi rates skyrocketed also.
La Carlota airport is a military base, pretty much in the middle of the city, so i really doubt that any mayor flight can be redirected to this one.
If you really need to avoid the long road time to Caracas, might be a better idea heading to Valencia, from there you can still get to Caracas in about 1-2Hr, or just stay there.
Let's hope this problem clears... any time this century.

LorenzoThere is helicopter service to the city from the airport but the rates have skyrocketed as well. It would probably be wise to skip VEN altogether or just avoid the city and use the airport as a jumpoff point to your other destinations. It is amazing that a country with some of the worlds best building engineers could let this happen. Has nuthin to do with Chavez, just 50 years of neglect.

Borrowed from http://www.tripadvisor.com site:
Bridge to Caracas is Out.
The main road will be closed a long time. One of the bridges on it is in danger of collapsing, so the traffic through it has been suspended.
There are 3 alternate roads, none of them is very good, so travel times are much longer than the 40 minutes it used to take before.
You can take the old Caracas-La Guaira road, and depending on traffic it will take between 2 and 6 hours, also, at night this road is closed for cars and taxis and only trucks are allowed. (did this one last week to get to caracas, was lucky, took only 2 hours)
Then, you can go through Galipan, up and down the mountain, for this you need a 4x4 vehicle, it takes about 1.5 hours and costs 150.000 bs. (did this one last week to get to the airport, and it was ok, there isn't much traffic and you can even enjoy some views of the city and the sea)
There is also the road through "El Junquito" which is the one I think taxis are commonly taking, and travel times are around 2.5 hours.
The government is very inefficient, they are building a temporary way to bypass the broken bridge, but it will take a couple of months, and then a new bridge will take years to be done.
Other alternatives are to fly from Maiquetia (the international airport) to a small airport in caracas using aerotuy or avior, also you can fly to valencia and then drive 2 hours to caracas.
If you can read spanish, take a look at this page in "El Universal" (one of the main newspapers in vzla)

I assume you're referring from the airport to La Guaira and Macuto right? No it's not. If you mean from Caracas then yes because we're talking about the same highway for the 3 destinations. As for the closure of the main highway between Caracas and the coast an article in today's online El Universal says they are working 24/7 on the bypass and hope to have it ready by late Feb ie before the start of Carnaval. The bypass amounts to a 1 1/2 mile detour around a bridge.

I don't have any first hand experience but my understanding is that many caraqueños head for the beach to celebrate Carnaval and the closest ones are accessed via what is now the closed highway to the airport.

I am looking for a hotel for a about 20-30 dollar in Caracas. I would like to stay in Las Mercedes area or other safe area. Any info?
More out of curiosity than any thing else I paid a visit to what is arguably Caracas most famous or is that infamous brothel which occupies two floors of Edificio Volta. Turns out it is located on Bulevar Abraham Lincoln in Sabana Grande equidistant between the Sabana Grande and Chacaito metro stations. If memory serves me the closest cross street is Humboldt. The letters Volta on the building aren't huge so if you aren't paying special attention you could miss it. There is a food court across the street.
I went in the afternoon for safety reasons. There was a guy sitting at the doorway and I asked him if there was a estudio in the building. For the uninitiated estudio is a euphemism used in Caracas for brothel. He laughed and said there indeed was a burdel and recommended the second floor. The entrance to the building is on the ground floor.
Prominently displayed was a sign with the price $20,000B. There weren't many girls working or if there were they were mostly busy. There were just a few sitting around. I thought one of them was doable so I went with her. I would say she was a 6 in her late 20's. Morena, Her best feature was her rack. Her face was just average She took me to a room that overlooked the street.
I thought the fact that I was a foreigner although a spanish speaking one would spark her curiosity but it didn't. Service was perfunctory but included cbj and several positions although she did not completely disrobe. The room was sweltering albeit equipped with a slowly revolving overhead fan.
Prominently displayed was a sign with the price $20,000B.
According to XE Currency Converter, that comes to US$9.31! And to think she had to split that with the house! Sounds like you got your money's worth. At least you got off.

I don't know why this place is not recommended, its my usual hotel when I stay in Caracas. Its near some of the action, its cheap, and they give you a free toothbrush.
Of course, you may be killed or robbed if you walk more than 100 meters from the hotel.

Mongering brethren,
I had the opportunity to go to CCS on a last minute trip this last week. I have been to CCS on and off for the last ten years and frankly it is quite sad to see the slow decline of this country. Venezuela is a beautiful country with great restaurants, a serious party scene and arguably the most beautiful women on the planet.
If you go, make sure you have a reliable driver waiting for you (I use and recommend Reinaldo from venezueladriver.com). The main highway is closed and the alternate routes are risky and/or lengthy in terms of time (3 hours+). I recommend the El Junquito route as it is scenic and not stressful.
My favourite hotels are The Embassy Suites in front of Centro Lido ($175), Altamira Suites ($70) or the Altamira Continental ($50). All of these hotels are chica friendly.
For entertainment I called a thin gal from tumami.com and to my surprise, she proved to be quite good ($35). She was in her early 20s, long legs and a great disposition. We hit it off quite well. As a matter of fact, after the experience, I invited her to dinner the next day. I never thought she would be around since she is quite popular (a solid 8 in my book). I had to work until around 7pm and didn’t have a chance to call her until then, but when I called, she was happy to hear from me and told me she was looking forward to dinner. I took her to a nice restaurant, there are many choices in town.
We had a nice time and I treated her like a lady. Afterwards, I invited her to come back to my room and she agreed. We hung out for a while and I started to caress her and kiss her. She lied on the bed and asked if it was ok to fall asleep. This surprised me as I had a raging hard-on and wanted to do her, but I told her ok. Before she fell asleep in my arms, she told me I would have a nice surprise in the morning.
Needless to say, the morning was a great one. BBBJ, multiple positions and total GFE. She came multiple times and we truly enjoyed each others company. When it was time for her to leave and me to go to work, she asked if she could see me again. I told her of course and offered to give her a gift. She politely declined and said she had enjoyed herself too much and it was personal this time. As a matter of fact, she asked me to call her next time so she can clear her schedule.
This is a first for me. I’m a fit man in my early 40’s and never thought in my wildest dreams a girl like that would like me so much.
The semi-pro scene in Caracas is possible provided you are patient. You can go to the Sambil shopping center and scope out the girls there. It is possible to strike conversations with nice looking girls. If you are pressed for time, I have a couple of recommendations that would be sure to please. The studios are a great choice provided you have some time. The studios are particularly good to get dates for later at reduced prices. I found a 10 in a studio that I ended up dating for over a year.
PM me if you need help or have questions.
Please be careful in Caracas. Situational awareness is always key.

For what i heard, too costly and no rooms, you have to empty your pockets and sell your family just to cover the exit fee. They do have rooms, but nothing special. The girls perform better if you take them out of the club. And I never could figure out the fine - it's worse than estimating US taxes.
First day in Caracas, I had a cabbie take me first to Edificio Volta, where I got a nice blow job from a latina redhead and then to Cazadores, cross the street and down the block a little.
Unlike other reports about Volta, I found the chicas to be fairly good-looking. They all were in their 20s, dressed in short skimpy skirts and tops and sexy high-heels. There were a few scroungy guys hanging around, but they didn't seem too menacing, they were all focused on the girls.
There were about 6 girls on the 1st floor and about 10 on the second. They all looked ready to go. The gal I picked was actually quite friendly and talkative, and wanted to know how long I had been in Venezuela etc. 25,000 BS. set price.
Then the cabbie walked me over to Cazadores and I went up to the first floor, where there was about 10-12 chicas. A few black. Not a bad selection in my opinion. I just looked around and left.
More to come -- OUT
4th day in Caracas. On Sundays when all the sex venues are closed you can always count on Volta and Cazadors to be open. I notice that there are new chicas every day at those places. My last 2 encounters have been the best. Theres a gal that goes by the handle of Charo, gives good head.
I went over to Rodundo for a drink (basement of Chacacito Comm. Cntr.). 7 chicas floated in and out. One doable the rest average. They wanted BS 170,000 for an hour, and BS 120,000 for half; plus 70,000 for the room. Way too expensive for my taste. Beers are 7,000.
I tried the studio at the Andrea bldg. (close to McDonalds on Av. Francisco de Miranda nr. Calle Muneco, buzz no. 28, 7th floor). Got buzzed in and met a krachity old mamsan who only had 1 average looking chica. She said there were 3 others but they floated in and out and didnt know when they show up. It was a nice apartment, very comfortable. The rate was BS 70,000 complete with massage and blow job. Ill go back later.
These Venezolanas must be real high maintenance. They spent alot of money on clothes, jewelry and makeup. Good-looking but snobby and stuckup.
Nice, modern and cheap metro system. Something for the Venezuelans to be proud of.

That is a tough one.
Be cause the bridge (Viaduct) was out for so long, it seems to me that business meetings that were cancelled are booking most of the hotels.
At some hours of the day the road to Caracas can still take around 2 hours. We went over the old road to save time. It took around an hour.
The only thing we could find was the Hotel Paseo Las Mercedes. B$177,000 on weekends and 236,000 during the week.
I could not stand Caracas, so I flew to Curacao. And one other friend flew home. BayBoy stuck it out, but could not find any cheaper hotels. Everything was full, even hotels in Sabana Grande. We really wanted to stay at the Hotel La Floresta in Altamira around US$50.
So, contact any hotel that you want to stay at, Way before you go.

That problem has been going on for years. Chances are the charges were made by a hotel clerk to whom you gave your credit card and copied the numbers and name. They may also have sold that information.
Hey guys ... got a call last week from my Master Card company ... somebody was charging up a storm with my credit card number in Caracas.
I haven't been there in a couple months ... got the charges reversed and cancelled the card.
Looks like quite a scam is going on in Caracas.
Ten cuidado!
My charge issues are concerning my ATM card. Somebody got ahold of my number and tried to charge some things. The funny thing was that the charges came from Holland, Aruba and Maine of all places; a long way from Venezuela..
Fortunately my bank stopped all the charges. But a couple of banks in Caracas have tried to charge me for transactions that were rejected at the ATM site. I'm in the process of getting them taken off now. Somebody in those banks stole my number.
Hi guys,
I'm on my way to Caracas tomorrow. This will be my 4th country so far out of the 9 that I'm traveling to in the next couple of months. After reading the latest reports about Caracas, I want to know, is there any reason to go to Caracas at all? I was thinking about spending a couple days there before heading to Merida. So if there is anybody living there with up to date knowledge, please give me a heads up. I don't want to stay in such a dangerous city if the reward isn't worth it. If anyone is there that would like to hook up for a beer, please let me know. Also, please check out my latest reports from Costa Rica, Cuba, and Dominican Republic. Thanks for any help in advance.

I was there in early March.
As far as I am concerned I will never go back to Caracas.
I could not wait to get out of there.
Besides the trouble getting into Caracas and finding a place to stay. Everything was full. Try Hotel La Floresta, hotellafloresta@cantv.net, Fax: 58 212 267 7519 Tel: 263 1955.
There is not much to see, except maybe the teleferico. I was told by a travel agent that lives there that she used to go to the musuems in the Capitolio area, but it is too dangerous to go there even in the day time.
If you want to go to Angel Falls the cheapest way to get there in by going to Isla Margarita and then fly from there. It will cost around $240. for a one day round trip. I waited and tried to go from Caracas. They did not have any one day trip. Only overnighter and they wanted about $800. round trip.
If you are going to Merida, I would recommend getting hotel reservations first. We didn't, and all the hotels were full. We only got lucky with the airport travel agent. She found an apartment for us to rent for four days.
WT69
CIRCLE -- I was with World Travel in Venezuela and spent 8 days in Caracas. I can tell you there isn't much to see there. I couldnt even get a budget hotel (stayed at the Hotel Las Mercedes, $100 a nite) in town. And to top it off the sexual venues were really lacking compared to other cities in South America. I pretty much went to the 2 *****houses listed earlier.
Merida was a nice town, very safe, with good weather. I highly recommend the Teleferico to the top of the Andes mountains, and also La Venezuela de Antier, an historical amusement park a little out of town. Also we went to the bullfights (which I enjoyed unlike my friend). We didnt find much in the way of mongering though.
Happy travels
Hey guys,
Thanks for the info. I happend to meet a french couple and a spanish girl when I was trying to find someone to share a taxi into caracas with me. They were not all traveling together, but we all met kind of at about the same time and they all spoke spanish better than I, so I decided to hang out with them. And since they were taking a bus to caracas and then taking the overnight bus directly to merida, I decided to go with the flow and go with them. Besides, all the hotels really are booked up in caracas. Even the budget ones I normally find in my travel books. So I'm in merida now, and I hope to have a nice update coming soon. So thanks, and hasta luego

30 minute trip from the airport to Caracas. There is a bridge out as described but perhaps they finished a temporary one? The road goes next to a collapsed bridge so that is my guess. It does go through some pretty spooky looking parts of town. From first glance, every area here is a spooky part of town.
Ford's timid little mountain creatures (or something like that) would be scared.
A couple of money things...
Tons of black market exchangers right at the airport. 2300 seems the going rate on any amount.
ATM scam: This one is tricky. I saw one and a guy showed me what you can do. Generally on outdoor, easily accessible ones a guy will glue on a card reader. Your card goes through his and into the real one. They scan your card and pin and can then counterfeit it. The trick seems to be to smack the card reader hard on the top. You can tell if there is a seam that bends a little. Real ones are one piece of moulded plastic.

Nothing ground breaking to report. I checked out at couple of strip clubs that are already well reported on here. Everything is as described.
I just needed to add that even though this city is not exactly to my taste there are some unbelievable looking chicas here. The average is probably higher than the average anywhere else I know of. And they are everywhere. If a lot of the mainland is like this, I can understand why some really go for Venezuela. You get more horny at the mall than at a titty bar in many places.
Went back to one of my old haunts, previously reported, Edf Yetauso, spelling not so sure, PH B on Ave Libertador, about 50 mts west of Hotel Crillon on the north side of the avenue. Only one girl available, around forty years old, rate her a five at most, Bs 90K after negotiations. One hour and not so great. Place has gone down as has the rest of this country.

many people here think that the price for paygirls in venezuela is to high, and I totaly agre with u.
Some people say that it is still ok because it is less than back home (there wrong). The onley fair way to compare is to look at the normal salary in the country bacause salarys and livingcosts always goes hand in hand (exept p4p girls in venezuela)
So I spent lots of time to make this list of salarys and p4p prices for you.
The everage salarys is for bricklayer/carpenter in each kountry.
The p4p prises are low mediumprices and 1 hour.
The % is based on the salarys.
The curency is for each country
..........................................................................
country------salary-----p4p------%of salary
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
germany......2,400.........72............=3%
australia......4,095.........160..........=4%
japan..........298,540......13,000.....=4,5%
usa.............3,222.........160.........=5%
uk..............1,629.........150......... =9%
thailand.......7,000.........700.........=10%
philipines......7,000.........700........=10%
venezuela....200,0000....200,000...=100%
------------------------------------------------------
1. If Venezuelan girls charged 3% (same as German) it woud be 6, 000veb. How come the Vnezuelan girls charge 33 times more than German?
2. If American girls charge the same as Venezuelan girls it wod be 3,222 usd.
Would you pay that?
3. A carpenter charge 1,250veb per hour and pay tax on that. A ho charge 200,000veb per hour and no tax.
4. If a skilld worker make the same money in 160 hours as a ho in 1 hour something wrong.
5. If a ho works 1 hour evry 4 day she makes 1 year's salry in 1 month, and 12 years salary in one year.
6. I don't understand why theres any girls in skool or college as a ho they make more money than lawyers and doctors.
7. Yes my friends, this means they are richer than you and me. They can by more things and luxury for their salary in ther country than you can in your country for your salary (unles you're BillGgates:)
8. The escort and clubgirls have to splitt the money but freelancers keap 100% but they all charge about the same eaven the ugly ones.
9. An honest question who is f-cking who?
10. We all know why the prise is to high (owerpaying and tipping) and we all know what to do to keep the price on a normal level -REMEMBER ITS A TEAM EFFORT-
11. If you feel sorry for the girls and want to do somthing for them do somthing that some guys forget, treat them nice. That way they think better of you than if you just hand them shittloads of cach.
12 .If you like to give your money away give it to the poor carpenters.
13 .The salary statistic is taken fromInternational Labour Office <http://www.ilo.org> the p4p prises taken from this and other forums and own experience.
14. The salarys and pices may vary from state/province in the same country but i wont be much differense.
I hope this was helpfull to you.
Please let me know what you think of this.
speedy, i think you are not comparing apples to apples here. for starters, the venezuelan minimum wage is bs 460,000 plus obligatory incidentals like vacation, prestaciones, aguinaldos, etc. which add another 50% so in reality you are looking at around bs. 690,000 or usd 300 and change. second, you are not comparing this minimum wage to other countries minimum, rather the average wage. i don't know about other countries but the us minimum is not usd 3000 per month. third, don't confuse the top rate with the average. as a foreigner in venezuela you probably paid top rate. in other countries you are probably paying more standard market prices. here in venezuela the standard prices range from bs 30,000 at volta to bs 120,000 at massage parlors with around 80,000 - 100,000 being a good average for top flight massage parlors. notice i am not including the houses for working joes in non touristy parts and the interior where going rates of 15,000 to 20,000 bs can still be found. using these latter numbers gives you a ratio of 20:690 or 1:35, more in line with your international benchmarks. but above all, forget the money, enjoy!

thank you for corekting me -be there-
You told me exactly what me and my nervs neded to hear.
The salarys I wrote about where not minimum wage.
It was male ewerage bricklayer/carpenter salarys.
I didn't invent this numbers myself it came from ilo-International Labour Office and for venezuela they wrote 171, 550veb per month in year (2000) but I coreted whith more resent informtion from people saying 180, 000 - 240, 000veb.
You say 690, 000 for minimum wage so I gues a bricklayer/carpenter have even higher salary than 690, 000 thats a big change from 6 years ago maby 400%. The usa informtion was to old to be acurate (1997) so I adjsed that whith other info on internet.
Pleas tell me what the real salary wod be in usa
As for the p2p in venezuela I calculated on150usd for girl and 50usd for exit =200usd=429, 000veb for topprange like morrison or angeous (forum info) for lowrange it was newspaper-freelansers 180, 000 - 250, 000veb.
I am an expeiend traweller but I never ben in us or venesuela but I never claimd to know more than ilo or forums wrote.
My reasons for reakting so strong is beacause I am sick and tierd of being overcharged for my collor or nationality, I woud newer do that to tourists in my country.
And I am not a sheepskate I just don't like to pay 10 times more than I have to. Anyway I am happy to hear the salary was higher and prices lower (thanks be there) by the way have you heard the minimum wage from reliable sourses or many people?

I have been to all of the Central and South American cities, and I speak fluent Spanish. Recently spent a week in Caracas, and I address this to anyone who has NOT been there and is trying to decide whether to go. There are, as noted a LOT of gorgeous slim dark girls around, BUT they are not very friendly, don't like to talk to strangers. Even if you speak Spanish and look decent, there are MANY other places you can do better.
Overall sterotype/generalization: Caracas is dirty, crowded, smoggy, not very interesting, not many good restaurants, ful of pushy obnoxious people, and very dangerous. As soon as I left my hotel, sinister people started shadowing me, and EVERY taxi driver, doorman, etc. told me I was risking my life by taking a walk at night, even in a well-lit area.
Now I am sure that someone is going to respond that Caracas is the most wonderful safest city on the planet, etc., but let me tell you my subjective YMMV opinion: SHITHOLE! For the same price I could have gone to Rio or Buenos Aires, etc., where the food, girls, people, traffic, value, beach (Rio, Dominican Republic), nightlife (Rio or Buenos Aires) is MUCH better. Here is my subjective ranking of major destinations, based on friendliness, pricing, value, food, scenery, and "other things to do and see":
Rio 10, Buenos Aires 9, Costa Rica 7, Panama City 7, Dominican Republic (if you like it dark) 6, Medellin/Cali 5, Tijuana 5, Lima 4, Caracas 1,
Let the flames begin! LOL
Hey Rabo Verde, I feel you man..... I know that sometimes our experiences vary greatly from one place to another. The same applies to how those experiences occur to different people in the same places as well.
The main reason why I am responding to your post is because I should be arriving in CCS in less than 3 weeks from today and current/ updated information about the city interests me a lot. I have been through CCS en route to Puerto La Cruz (by land) and by plane (Simon Bolivar Int'l Airport) on my way to Colombia. However, I have not had the opportunity to stay and get to know the city at all :( This time, I am also heading to Puerto La Cruz and Margarita but I would like to spend a couple of days in CCS to do some sightseeing and to delight in the art of what we all brethren of this forum partake in while abroad :)
I agree with your assessments of Rio and Buenos Aires, however, categorizing Medellin and Cali with a 5 - I don't know. IMHO, Medellin deserves a higher rating than Cali because of its cosmopolitan lifestyle and its prettier, more modern women. Second, categorizing Medellin and Cali on a par with Tijuana (5 for all three) is a real disservice. Tijuana, although being my backyard for P4P (and thank God for that) comes by no means close to either Medellin or Cali - in all aspects, that is. The P4P scene in Tijuana is strictly on an assembly line/ mechanical/ non-GFE basis whereas in Medellin/ Cali one definitely finds better options in terms of beauty and experience.
Just my two cents worth with no intentions of starting a flame war here. :)
RABO VERDE ...
Well actually, I have to agree with your assessment of Caracas ... most of it anyway.
I know Caracas pretty well also ... yes, wow, lots of beautiful chicas ... more per square inch than most places on the planet ... but yes, they sure can be a bit stuck up.
I've gotten lucky there meeting chicas that work in the malls ... Sambil or el Recreo ... also some chicas from the massage places I've ended up dating.
DANGEROUS ... definitely! I've had a couple run ins there ... would never walk around at night ... especially alone.
I've been to Caracas many times for work ... and I've had several girlfriends from there and have gone to visit them also ... but ... I wouldn't choose to go there now just for fun and chasing chicas ... especially with the political climate the way it is.
I've actually been turned down by hotel management to stay in their hotel because I'm from the USA ... politics.
HOT chicas ... but I have to agree ... wouldn't be my first choice to visit on vacation.
Hello!
I across the ocean only one time for Recife, not good choice. In future I would like to try something else, I am thinking about Venezuela, Colombia or Argentina.
I love white skin girls, my type is russian girl, and I do not want to go to dangerous city as it seems Caracas is, so how do you compare these 3 states about beauty of girls, easy level to score regulars and cost of holiday there as prices of pro, hotels?
Thanks in advance and nice weekend everywhere you are. :)
Luksek -- I would definitely say go to Buenos Aires, Argentina. The women are so fine there, and yes they are mostly white skinned plus some latinas thrown in too. But the main thing is that Buenos Aires is a very safe city. I've walked around there late at nite and never had a problem. Columbia I've never been to, so I dont know the scene there.
Rabo Verde I'm down with you, Caracas is a shit hole and VERY dangerous. A couple of times when I was leaving Edificio Volta or Cazadores the security guard there warned me to be careful leaving the premises, that I might get robbed. The women are good looking in Caracas but they're not interested in p4p or are too stuck up to meet foreigners. Take care

Hello!
I across the ocean only one time for Recife, not good choice. In future I would like to try something else, I am thinking about Venezuela, Colombia or Argentina. The girls in Argentina are indeed beautiful and if you are going to live there I would give it very high marks. I checked out the scene in Buenos Aires in February and found it very small, even smaller then Costa Rica which is very surprising for such a large city. I would not consider BSAS a major mongering destination.

I guess you did not look at www.argentinaprivate.com for places to go.
I have been three times and there is nothing small about it. Now Costa Rica I would say is small. Having been there three times also.
Hi guys, I started to get in interest about Venezuela, when I meet at my work a new workers from Caracas, I unfortunately worked with her only one day, but she was not very nice but also she gave me the feeling she was "quite" easy to date, even if she was married...
I will think about Argentina, I had to go there 1 years ago..
Why small scene there? I am curious too.
Luka
Hello to all,
I am planning to arrive in Caracas the week of July 12th and would like to spend a couple of days visiting and getting to know the city. If anyone is available for meeting-up and hanging-out, that would be very cool.
I also plan to visit Puerto La Cruz and Isla Margarita, "the Rock", as it has been previously referred to as in this forum LOL!!! I am not sure yet if to continue on to PLC upon arrival and then on my way to Bogota, stop by CCS for a few days, or do it upon arrival.
I keep hearing how dangerous CCS is and this is a big concern for me given that I will most likely be travelling there solo. I know that CCS is a beautiful city and has lots to offer in terms of tourist attractions (Avila, Hatillo, etc...) and night life combined with a deluge of beauty pageant contestants everywhere......
The BA scene is NOT small at all. You have a choice of streetwalkers, nite clubs, cafes, massage parlors, apartments, escorts and other options etc. Theres lots of action to go around there. I'm going in October. Take care --

I am planing a trip to venezuela in a few month.
I heard so many god thing about the country, but now I geting worried from what I read here.
(stuck up girls and extreme danger) I know that people have difrent opinions but when even ricker
Who I guess is fluent in spanish and know the drill and sad so many good things aboute the country agres to what rabo verde say I get realy worried.
Ricker also aded (had a couple run ins there. Would never walk around at night). I don't know how late (at knight) is and if sabana grande is icuded but I guess the tittybars don't open at lunchtime so the onley time to wisit must be at knight. I'm not build like a toothpick so streatscum usualy leave me alone but of course I can't outrun a bullet.
I've been in Manila that is supose to be dangerous but I didin't think so, I had a great time there.
If anyone can compare danger in caracas whith manila or maby girlatetude with usa so I get an idea of the situation I realy apresiate it.
'muchas gracias'
Amigo ... Caracas at night is muy DANGEROUS! Please don't walk about at night ... especially around Sabana Grande and areas such ... doesn't matter how big you think you are.
It can be dangerous in the daytime too ... but more of the petty crime type mostly ... they look for prey, and 2 or 3 guys will make a quick attack on you ... one or two guys from behind, and the other 2 grab your stuff.
I know ... I had this happen to me ... and so have a couple of friends.
Stay in the crowds and always be aware of your surroundings.
Aside from that, Caracas can be a great place to find beautiful chicas.
Speaking Spanish is key to meeting regular chicas ... the malls ... I like Sambil or el Recreo.
Go to the sexycaracas website and visit the studios listed on the site ... I've had good service and good luck meeting chicas there and making friends with them for later hook-ups.
At night I liked Angelus and Divas strip clubs ... they are also good places to meet chicas and make friends for later hook-ups ... as service in these clubs is a bit expensive.
There is an area also called the "hotel area" ... a series of cheap hotels where chicas hang-out in the lobby / bar waiting for guys to buy them.
Ask the taxista about this area.
Street chicas in my experience, are not too good
Hope this helps out .... Caracas has some trully beautiful chicas!
Suerte!

Muchas gracias Ricker,
My reason for traveling to Venezuela is vacation not work and of course I like to visit all strip joints.
So Carcel/Monson is unsafe at night downtown and near the bus station unsafe after 8 PM and Sabana Grande is unsafe at night (do you men the whole area blvd Sabana Grande/Av Casanova and all streats between).
Has it always ben like this or is it only because of recent politic-instability.
It sems to me that most big redlight zone's are to dangeorus to visit I sinserly hope that I am wrong about this.
Can you tell me if there is at least a resonable safe area for p4p in Caracas more than (angelus-divas-hotell aria), and if so when is it time to leave the aeea at night.
Ohters in this forum have been to the unsafe areas and lived to report it, maybe they don't run around with Hawaii shirt and Bermuda shorts cellphone and tourist map in hand and camera aroud the neck or with Armani suit and Rolex and looking lost, if they did I think they woud probably get robbed anywhere on this planet.
I don't mind a little bit unsafe but if there is a (knife in the back guarante) I skip Caracas, maybe I go to Merida or Isla Margarita, or maybe Medellin.
I ben reading most of the Venezuela forum and thot it was reasonable safe in Caracas if being careful (compared to Bogota/Rio) ex.
I been in about 19 countries and in unsafe areas I always dress cheap but not crappy and carrying "nothing" and (using decoid wallet allmost emty) big money somewhere else, my spanish is slim but enough for small conversation. From what I been writing here does it sound like I can visit most of the p4p seen with my friends being careful, or does it sound like I should go to Medellin insted.

In response to a PMed question:
After Hours clubs typically open at 1-3am and stay open until 10am-noon. They appeal to working girls who want to party with their friends after the strip clubs close, typically at 5am.
For mongering purposes, they are best used as places to meet club girls to avoid bar fines and to score GFE points. They are not great places to make initial contact with quality girls since most of them just want to relax. Don't be surprised or offended if they are not interested in talking with you or don't want to close a deal.
You'll find the best looking girls at AM and 12:34. Both are safe for newbies. Older guys tend to stand out at 12:34. Be aware that not all of the girls at these two clubs are pros.
I am aware of 6 after hours clubs in the Avenida Casanova area and have been to 4. All are unsafe, inside and out, except for the Box (now called the "New Box"). Unless you are familiar with the area, do not go there.
If you don't feel like partying late but want to avoid paying a bar fine, El Budare (locations in La Castellana and Las Mercedes) is a 24-hour restaurant that is safe and familiar to all.
Hi all,

O, dear mongers, I stand among you as one who has suffered one of the greatest indignities that a self respecting monger can have - being stood up, cock up in a motel room by one of our supposedly reliable service providers. It started yesterday at 4 PM when I called Karen, phone: 0416-XXX.5919 and confirmed her services at Rema Hotel at 5PM. At 4:30 I called again and she confirmed that she was on her way; 5PM: checked in and waiting, rock hard; 5:30:no show? called cellphone and no answer; 6PM, after multiple calls I finally get through to Karen and she cooly replies that she had had "a problem" and couldn't make it. Said she would meet some other time and gave me a Plan B. Luckily Plan B worked, in that the girl showed up, but she had as much enthusiasm as a turkey for Thanksgiving. NO oral sex, NO kissing, NO response, in sum, a waste of time and money. Her agency "Chicas Calientes" should be called "Frigid Females". Over and out... better luck next time.

I'm going to Caracas this summer. leave for Rio soon. I'm planning to spend 2 nights in Caracas. Gonna be my first time there. I been reading the Caracas list and the forum here. I'm thinking about Angelus and Club Dicas and maybe a massage places. Just some questions cos I dont dont know how strip joints work in Caracas:
In the strip club can you just sit and watch for 3 hours or do you have to tip the girls every dance? Is taking pictures allowed?
Massage places, do the girls just assume your there for the sexo when you enter? Is there a bed or just a massage table?
Finally be great if people can tell me the address of Angelus, Divas and Spa Mystic moment. I only know angelus is in some basement. Roads / Directions would be great.
Many thanks
USA today article says you have greater chance of being killed in Caracas (15,000 murders a year) than Bagdad (7,000) though both are the same population.

Nice map, WT.
Divas is in the basement of an office building on the corner of Tranversal 1 (which runs west of Plaza Altamira) and Avenida Prinicpal de La Castellana, immediately north of Restaurant El Budare and one long block south of Plaza la Castellana. Although I have walked around San ignacio, La Castellana, Altamira, Los Palos Grandes many times at all hours alone and in groups without incident, I RECOMMEND THAT VISITORS TAKE CABS.
CC Bellocampo is just 2 or 3 blocks south of Divas, but some of the other clubs in the shopping center attract malandros and the neighborhood is rougher. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND CABBING IT, even from Divas. If you are going for the first time, insist that the cab drive you to the front door of Angelus (it is in the parking garage for discretion). He probably will anyway.
Cabs are more expensive at night. Expect to pay Bs. 15k from San Ignacio and Bs. 10k from Divas to Angelus from a cab stand (cheaper if you flag down a cab on the street). Also, bear in mind that getting in and out of CC Bellocampo can be a pain in the ass for the taxista.

After staying away from the clubs for a while, I made a few visits:
Angelus: Still the best IMHO. 120K salida, 200K TLN.
Magnifique: Some good looking girls here. However, many are cokeheads, which equals lousy GFE and high theft possibility. Screened 4 cokeheads before finding a "good" girl. Sorry, no price update, but it's always been a little cheaper than Angelus.
Saxo: Went with some visiting oldtimers who used to be regulars. About 40 girls, not one, not a single one was acceptable. They were crushed. Don't bother.

Today after checking out El Universal, PJ's and Sexycaracas list, decided to visit Lorena's studio since it was in the East (ie safer) part of town. Damage was Bs 130K for a special 2 shots on goal promo. Went with Sasha, only one of 2 girls av ailable, they had 5 in total today, but the others were busy when I got there. Nice rack, perhaps too full a body, as I like mine skinny, abt 5'8" light brown, morena skin, nice eyes. Took a shower first, then Sasha proceeded to lube me up and gave me a superb CBJ where she stroked my balls and thighs perfectly while giving me a finger job up my ass, really nice. we switched to DATY, which she liked, but not like some of my superior performances. After a couple of minutes she returned to the CBJ and hand job and I exploded. She cleaned up, then proceeded to get out the massage oil and gave me a wonderful massage for about 30 minutes. After that, she started on a hand job stroking and pulling and getting Mr Junior back up. She then said, let's get on with it and proceeded into series of positions: missionary, doggie, her on top, split, face together on the chair, whatever I wanted. Finally, after about 40 min of more pull and tug, I got her back to doggie where I gave her what she wanted. Second shot on goal w/o a problem. No DFK, but everything else, Greek optional, but not for me today. Nice boobs, pert and natural, straight up as a 20 yr old should have them. Not bad. Price to value, 8/10. looks, 6; attitude, 8, ambience, 9. Safety and convenience, 9. Check out at Edf Provincial, Apt 62 (intercom code = 62), sixth floor, apt B. Avda Fco Miranda in front of Banco Venezuela in La Casona. Safe and no hassles. The other girls were better, slimmer, more petite and waiting for next time.

Skip CCS and head straight to RIO CCS is not worth it. Unsafe, and expensive.
Hey Droplet .... if you do decide to go to Caracas ... you can find Angelus easily ... see the Caracas Lists section in Venezuela ... spells it out perfectly ... by World traveler ... nice job.
Yes, you can sit and watch the strippers dance for hours. Angelus puts on a pretty good show for like 20 min every hour ... a show on the main stage plus mini shows thruought the place.

This is a belated report from Caracas. I was on a 60 day tour of South America from July 3 through September 1, on a OneWorld Visit South America Airpass, visiting 10 countries (all but the Guianas). Although this wasn't strictly speaking a mongering trip, I resolved to monger wherever I could. I ended up mongering in every country but Peru (stomach flu) and Bolivia (altitude sickness). I was in Caracas August 21-24.
It's my custom every place I go to read this forum thoroughly before attempting to monger, and Caracas was no exception. I was largely put off by what I read on the Caracas thread. Most of the reports are less than enthusiastic, to put it mildly. Moreover, many of the reports here, as well as what I've picked up elsewhere, stress the high crime rate in Caracas and portray it as a dangerous city. The difficulty of getting to and from the airport, with the main bridge having collapsed, is highly exaggerated. It is necessary to go through a mountainous pass and a couple of nasty looking barrios in order to get into the city, but it only took a little over an hour to get into the city from the airport, and about 45 minutes to get to the airport from the city, although the latter was at 6am. I would strongly advise against traveling to and from the airport at night, however; as I said, those varrios looked pretty scary. I stayed at the Gran Melia hotel, which is a little more upscale than the places where I usually stay, but it was near the end of my trip and I felt like splurging, and I also felt security would be better at a 5 star hotel.
I decided against going to a brothel and decided instead to try to find someone on the internet. After looking at a few websites, I decided that the best selection was on Amantes de Caracas, and I chose Isabel, phone number 0212-731-21-78. An older woman answered and, after asking me if I had gotten the number from the internet, told me that Isabel no longer works there (big surprise!). However, she said she had a fine selection of girls and asked me what kind of girl I wanted. Since the elusive Isabel had been a blonde and I was in a mood for a blonde, I asked for a blonde. She assured me she had just the girl for me. At this time I told her the services I wanted, which I consider non-negotiable: DFK, BBBJ, DATY, and CFS. (I advise all mongers to do this before you commit to a girl, whether it is an escort service, a brothel, or a streetwalker. Always get a commitment to provide the services you want, to avoid later disappointment. The few times I haven't done it, I regretted it.) She told me this would be okay, but a few minutes latershe called back and said that the blonde wouldn't do BBBJ, but that she had a morena who would do everything I asked. We the agreed on the cost: 140000 bolivares for one hour, plus 20000 for the taxi, total 160000. She would come directly to my hotel and meet me in the lobby. I expressed a little concer about Gran Melia security causing a problem, and she told me not to worry about it, that they send girls to Gran Melia all the time. I then fortified myself with 100mg of Viagra and proceeded to wait.
The girl showed up within 30 minutes and I met her in the lobby. I was disappointed in her looks, as I didn't think she was at all attractive. She also had a bland personality, but she was friendly enough and had a pretty good body. (I have a couple of nude photos that I'll post in the photo gallery so you can decide for yourself.) We went up to the room without incident of any kind.
I paid her upfront and she called the agency to tell them she got the money. We then got naked and got down to business. I'm afraid that I've forgotten the girl's name, since I didn't write it down. However, she provided excellent service. We proceeded to DFK for quite a while, our tongues intertwined with hers going deep in my mouth. I ate her pussy and she emitted the appropriate moans. I then lay on my back and let her suck me, which she did expertly and at a leisurely pace. The Viagra had taken effect and I was soon rock hard, so I proceeded to fuck her first in missionary, then doggy. Incredibly deep penetration with doggy; I was thrusting right up to the hilt and proceeded to have a volcanic orgasm, the kind where I remain hard after I come, so I can keep thrusting. We then collapsed on the bed and talked for a while. All in all a pretty good GFE, although I wish she had been more attractive.
This having been said, I can't really see any good reason to come to Caracas. It's an unattractive and dangerous city, and there are very few tourist amenities to boot. For example, I wasn't even able to book a city tour, even though I was staying at a 5 star hotel! If you have to come her on business, then I'd suggest going to an online escort service like I did. Otherwise, stay away.
Lorenzo
Nice report Lorenzo ....
Thanks for that report.
Truth is though ... I hate calling for blind date escorts ... praying that someone bonita might show.
I used to call this agency in Caracas where they brought several chicas in a van to choose from.
The massage studios have very nice looking chicas ... see the sexy caracas web site ... the fotos are mostly real ... and I've gotten many numbers from these chicas.
I prefer this over calling agencies like that and hoping for the best.

Its been about a year and a half since I've been in Caracas and I agree with Ricker. Called girls from the Caracas website, in 11 tries 10 were as advertised.

Hi,
I have been to Ccs many times and it is not as unsafe as many suggests. A LOT of nice girls that for some reason sees to get orgasms quite easy. Go to a massage parlor and enjoy some nice wet morena teenage pussy.
I recommend www.sexycaracas.com for any info.
Expect to pay ca 60-70 USD for an executive massage.

I totally agree with you about the great massage places and nice morenas.
To say that Caracas is not unsafe is foolish though.
I have been going there for over 10 years now and it's just getting worse.
Daytime running around is tolerable, though I did get mugged in the daytime.
Night time running around ... watch yourself ... not many areas of Caracas where it's too safe walking about at night ... especially solo.
Defintely, GREAT chicas though.

What you write is true. A fairly good chance of getting robbed or that somebody pick your pocket if you strawl the streets of Caracas, especially after 18:00.
Of the 11 000 murders in Venezuela last year, A LOT was comitted in the barrios and by people fucked up by polar and drugs fighting terrotorial wars.
What I am saying is that if you take the metro or bus during the day in Altamira, LPG, Chacao or other areas with a lot of people owning more than a pepsi, you actually CAN survive ;-). Or if you take a cab from you hotel in Las Mercedes or Altamira to St Ignacio for some evening clubbing you are likely to have a great and hassle free night. Somebody wrote that Bagdad is safer than Caracas, and while that might be true (at least for some nationalities) I think those kind of comparisons adds to the hysteria that isolates Venezuela as an all over totally unsafe country. Use both your heads while in Caracas and you'll be fine. :-)
In my opinion it is totally worth going there.
My first visit to Venezuela.
Question 1: staying at hotel near airport for a couple days. Any good massage parlors or other places to meet ladies without going into the city?
Question 2: Besides Margarita Island, any other good places to visit to meet the ladies?
Thanks
Will be visiting Venezuela for the first time.
Question 1: can you recommend a safe place to meet the ladies near the airport?
Question 2: anywhere else in Venezuela to meet nice ladies besides Margarita Island?
I'm not saying that Venezuela is the most insecure country in the world but insecurity is definetely a problem over there.
Reading the forum of the sexycaracas page and viewing the page regularly I must say that Venezuela does have some of the most gorgeous women you can find and the P4P scene is more than decent but it seems that people really do think that security is an issue.
Then again Colombia is not that safe either but mongers fly over there more frequently.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the middle- and upper-class (muc) Caraquenas are the hottest women in the world. Whoa dude, Are you saying that the only place to find decent pussy is in these classes? this is probably going to be mission impossible. These women wouldn't give us the time of day, even if we lived there.

Introduction in the Bogota thread
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=626832&postcount=1003
My entrance in South America was in Caracas.
HOW TO GO
The International airport of Caracas is Simon Bolivar, 26 km from Caracas on the sea. Venezuelan airlines like Avior or Aeropostal are not the most reliable. Else, there are from Europe Air France, Lufthansa and Alitalia and from Northern America Continental, Delta and American Airlines. Latin American airlines going to Caracas are Cubana, Copa and Avianca.
MONEY
Local money is BS (yes, I don’t mean Bolivares, but Bullshit). This money is not worth a shit, it is not convertible in any other currency since 2003. Getting cash in a local ATM is pain in the ass, for some reason you have to give two more digits from your Venezuelan ID card which you don’t have of course. The official currency exchange is 2941 BS for 1 Euro or 2147BS for 1US$. But never change your money for that rate in the official change offices. There is black market everywhere who will offer you nearly the double. On the other hand, trying to change your BS before leaving is at half of the official rate, as the official Cambios don’t do it. This gives an idea of how Venezuela is underdeveloped. My advice is to come with cash money in Venezuela and change it on the black market, your trip will be half the price.
SECURITY
Caracas is dangerous, be aware. Take all usual precautions, leave everything except a bit cash in the safe of your hotel and don’t walk outside at night.
LANGUAGE
Spanish, anything to add?
LODGING
There are plenty of hotels in Caracas, the classier hotels can be booked through www.hotel.com. If you are on budget, there are plenty of budget hotels on Avenida Acacias and Avenida Casanova. The good thing is that you can’t be closer to the mongering scene, as it happens right in these hotels.
LOCAL TRANSPORT
Best is to use taxis only but there is also a good metro network if you stay longer. Most taxis have no meter and try to ripp you off. Price for taxi from and to the airport is 60 000BS.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Trips to Venezuela always go wrong and this one was not an exception. My arrival flight was delayed and I was unable to get my Avianca connection flight for Bogotá. I hate this airport, everyone just don't give a damn shit about your problem, I just received as an answer that I was too late and that there was nothing free for Bogotá until two weeks due to Copa football event in Venezuela. Everything I had planned would be worthless, and I just couldn't imagine staying two weeks in Caracas.
I tried to get cash in the ATM of the airport, but it took me more than an hour trying all of them before I got anything. At last they paid me a dirty hotel in Guaria, an hour drive from Caracas center. I took a cab to go for mongering in the area but the taxi couldn't go very far, due to a mechanical failure. I took a second cab and arrived at the only club in Guaria area, Claramar Avenida de la Atlantica con Calle 3 Catia La Mar. Place opens at 19H30. There are everywhere mirrors in the bar. Rooms are available on site, I didn't check the pricing, there were just half a dozen of ugly women.
CLUBS IN THE CENTER
I preferred to go to the center and discovered at first Saxo, in a side street of Avenida Casanova. It was too early, the place was still empty, just a few girls, but the facilities are impressive.
I decided not to take any risk and go for one of the best Clubs in town. I chose Angelus, in the basement of Centro Commercial Bello Campo. This was the usual Strip Club, upscale facilities with high pricing for everything. There were probably some 40 girls; none of them turned me on. I guess it was the look on their face, the same as the people in the airport, bored and for sure not customer minded. At last I approached a little spinner. She started to offer me upfront to go for a Champagne bottle for 800 000BS. She claimed at first that this was the rule before going to the room, I didn't believe her a second. She coted me 500 000P to go to the room, but I already wasn’t into it anymore.
I left the club and I found Canagua also in the basement of the mall. I decided to give it a try. There were a dozen of girls with the same bored face. There was also a room available on site, but I had just the time to drink a couple of drinks with them before going back to my hotel and the airport to try an early flight to Bogotá. I hate spending time and money with girls without any sex. Needless to say, I was just hoping to arrive as soon as possible in Colombia,
Similar clubs I have not visited are Morrison, Majestic, Magnifique on Avenida Casanova or Flashdance on Avenida Libertador,
At the airport I saw for the first time in my stay two nice faces. They smiled and initiated conversation, they were also waiting for a connection to Bogotá. Needless to say, the only nice faces of my stay in Venezuela belonged to two Colombianas!

GIRLS
I was again in Caracas for a night, and I just hated it to be here again. I went to take my room in Hotel Luna an average Hotel in the Center with air-conditioned rooms for 112 000 BS. I was afternoon and I walked down Boulevard, the main pedestrian avenue in Cabana Grande. I watched the local beauties and couldn’t find anyone that turned me on. Yes you read me, not one! I know, I believed too in the Venezuelan beauty with their multiple victories during Miss World and Miss Universe contests. I try to be optimistic, but I just can’t put more than 5% of the local feminine population between 20 and 30 in the fuckable category. Only when I continued walking and arrived in the richer barrios on Mercedes, I saw this rate slowly going up, but never more than 15%. Remember, the same rate in Northern barrios in Bogotá were above 90%! No, sorry to say, Venezuela is not for me. What I hate most is their bored attitude. I promised myself that the very first girl that would watch and me and smile would be invited for a drink no matter how good or bad she was looking. In Bogotá most girls smiled at me when I watched them. Well here, I stayed for 24 hours and the only drink I have offered was to a pretty European girl at the airport just before leaving. Yes, she was the only girl that had smiled to me!
BARS IN THE CENTER
I passed close to Chacaito Center and remembered about a bar in the basement during daytime. Indeed, in the parking lot downstairs there is a bar with a blue neon sign named Noche de Ronde. I entered and it was quiet weird entering a brothel during daytime in a mall. There were a dozen of girls in the bar and I ordered a coke. A girl approached me and explained me how it worked. The club opens at 14H00 and closed at 22H00, it’s one of the only Club in Caracas opening during daytime. There is one room on site and pricing is 220 000BS for the room and 220 000BS for the girl including a bottle of Champagne. I watched around, but none turned me on. Still, I liked the relaxed atmosphere, probably because it’s a daytime bar.
It became already dark outside. I went back to my hotel, took a shower, emptied my pockets in order to have only a bit cash money with me and exited. Caracas is definitely the most dangerous cities I had done during my trip. What made me feel uncomfortable is the feeling that I was not really welcome anywhere I went. I entered a salsa bar, usually the most open atmosphere anywhere in the world. Not in Caracas. I had trouble inviting a girl for a dance, most refused. I answered to one of them : ”Crees que no se bailar?”. She smiled uncomfortable, I guess there is some kind of social pressure preventing girls from dancing with gringos, dunno. Anyway I didn’t care, once again I didn’t see any girl that could turn me on. I walked around the streets by night, relying on the quantity of red cells I had in my blood after one week at 2600m, to beat any local sea level guy in a race. I soon arrived on Avenida Acacias, the street of the hotels. This is together with the expensive clubs the main spot for mongering. Each Hotel here has a bar with hookers. I did all of them, entered had a look and left. From names I remembered, El Encuentro, My Fantasia, Embassy Hote. I considered all the scene as a freak show, I would not have fucked any of those girls even for free. I ended up in a real salsa club named Mambo. This was a more upscale salsa bar with an excellent life music band. I enjoyed the music, but didn’t feel really welcome once again. I still managed to invite a girl, had trouble with my Cuban style to make dancing a Venezuelan girl, she simply wasn’t used to spin. It was enough for tonight, I returned walking back to my hotel. The second time in Caracas, and the second time back in bed without scoring. No tengo suerte in Venezuela.

Routard one thing that confuses me.
Why would you go to a place that you don't like?
I explain this here:
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=626832&postcount=1003
Caracas was only a stopover for my trip to Colombia and Brazil. But honestly, I don't think that Chavez has anything to do with it. Castro has a much stronger anti-Western politic, but Cubans are among the best people you can meet.

I have been to Spain and seen many of them& most girls are not what I liked to see. I am not saying the whole nation is like that just the ones I have seen. The whole "venezuelan women are hot because of the pagents" is more myth than fact. Those hotties you see on tv are not like the population. And lots of people are leaving since this man came to power. Wheather he is good or not is debateabele. I may have to go there &see for my self. Colombia seems like a better option for now. Aswell as peru and brazil.

Unfortunately, too many people post negative reports about this beautiful country after a short 2 day trip to Caracas when they A) don't know where to go and B) don't speak the language. Granted, Caracas can be dangerous. Even the people that live there understand this fact. Yet this is the reality in most capital cities in all of Latin America.
Nevertheless, Caracas is a great place to find beautiful women, both pros and beautiful non-pro's, which are everywhere. One of the greatest things about Venezuela is how cheap it is with black market Bolivares purchased at 3500 to the US dollar. Gas, at about .11 a gallon is another one of the great things about the country that make exploring it with your own car so much fun.
Colombia has beautiful women. And in my experience the people in general are nicer and more open. If I had to generalize, I would also argue that the average Colombian works harder than the average Venezuelan. Yet, violent crime, including kidnapping, FARC/ELN related violence, etc. is something that if you are outside of Caracas and Maraciabo, one really doesn't need to worry about in Venezuela.
Margarita Island has great beaches, awesome weather, and both $40 18 year old escorts and plenty of local free talent available if you have just a hint of gringo sex appeal. Valencia, is another amazing destination, with so many beautiful women. San Cristibol, on the Colombian border, is the closest you can get to the FARC action in Venezuela, and while one should take pre-caution, the place is great to party for the weekend.
Clearly, the infastructure for inexperienced mongers that exists in Medellin, does not exist in Venezuela. (Except for the all-inclusive rip-off adult themed hotels in Margarita) Nevertheless, there are plenty of young and eager beauties waiting for the traveler in Venezuela!

Come On Perry.
I was there for three weeks and posted lots of places to go.
Where did you go?
Did you use the Lists? Can you add any thing to them?
Where did you stay? What cities.
What Clubs?
It is the most dangerous of the 70 countries I have been to.
First time me and my two buddies ever had our Credit Cards copied and used.
Mine for $5,800.

I guess everyone has different taste but the general concensus seems to be that Venezuela is not the best place to monger or even look for non-pros. And they are not as attractive as their colombian sisters.

World Traveler,
I'm sorry that you and your buddy had a rough time in Venezuela.
I just got back from an extended holiday in South America and while I concur that Caracas can be dangerous, especially if you're not familar with the city, that is clearly not the case in the vast majority of Venezuela.
This trip, I spent time in Barinas, San Cristibol, Valencia, Merida, and on Margarita Island.
I stay in each destination for at least 2 weeks, find an apartment to rent, and prefer to spend my time wooing the local gals. I'm alway's on the look out for pros, and in my opinion the best market of opportunity is in Margarita, with all kinds of young gals from off the island coming there to earn hard cash. Sure, 99% don't speak English, and you don't strike pay dirt on the first call. The going rate is 140k Bs, or around $40, for an hour. Yet, there is so much beautiful and available local talent available for free all across the country if you have the time, the Spanish, and a little bit of game.
In the past I have posted extensive reports on Merida, in the Venezuelan Andes, and always anwser any specific questions that members direct towards me.
Cheers.

Debating the potential danger and mongering opportunities in Caracas and all of Venezuela is understandable; debating the beauty of the Venezolana is funny.
Of course there are not so pretty girls in Venezuela, as well as in Colombia and everywhere else.
However, I have seen and met soooooo many beauties there.
As a matter of fact, if you've ever been to Sambil Mall in Caracas on any afternoon really, you'd see more beauty per square inch than in any mall I've ever visited in Colombia or anywhere.
I have had great times mongering and playing in Venezuela.
That said, I've also been mugged and had my credit card number stolen and used there too.
Colombia in my opinion is a more "user friendly" country for us guys but Venezuela definitely has its plusses. If you know what you're doing, Venezuela is great!

It looks like I forgot to post a report after my last trip to Caracas. Anyway, as usual, I stayed at the Hotel Embassy (NOT the Embassy Suites):
HOTEL EMBASSY
Av Las Acacias Sur.
Urb. San Antonio, Sabana Grande
Caracas, Venezuela
Tel: +58.2.782.78.21
Its not too far from the intersection of Las Acacias and Avenida Casanova in the Sabana Grande district.
Its cheap, and located among a bunch of hooker bars. I would not recommend walking very far at night here, the downside of doing so is death. So, apart from that little problem, and the fact that the chicas want $100, its OK.

I think Caracas is enough expensive and I like to reach a different and cheper town and to get a girl friend experience for 8-9 days (with a semi-pro o regular girl). In your opinion what is the best town for me, please?
Thanks

Look for posts on Maracaibo. It is the next largest city in Venezuela, an oil boom town. Some have been there and it seems to be able to offer what you are looking for.
Greeting guys,
I'll be making my first visit to Caracas next month, so I began my research here in advance. I don't speak Spanish, and based on what I've read so far, it doesn't look promising for my stay.

I might be making a quick run to Caracas in the coming weeks. I've read through the board, but need some updated info. I speak pretty fluent Spanish.
A trusted local contact of mine is getting Bs5000 - $1USD these days, and stated that Bs4500- $1USD is widely available at the airport as well. I'm pretty sure this is true, as it's been confirmed elsewhere as well.
My questions to the board relate to these exchange rates and applying it to our hobby.
1. Have local hotels (not high-end types like Gran Melia) adjusted their rates to these black market rates? Or can one pay in bolivares?
2. Do places like Angelus and their chicas quote in dollars, or in bolivares? I know how to negotiate. Just want to know what to expect walking in. I always speak in local currency only. Apparently, sexycaracas has already switched prices in bolivares to ridiculous numbers.
3. What's the deal with the bridge from the airport? Has it been fixed yet? What's the current approx. time to/from airport outside of rush hour traffic periods?
Just trying to come up with a way to take full advantage of these exchange rates. Thanks in advance.
FYI - I won't be using a credit card in Venezuela

Hoof ... you can trade for Bolivares and pay with them. The hotels don't adjust for black market.
Sexy Caracas has always had inflated prices. You can meet the chicas in person at the massage places and places like Angelus. Much better, especially if you speak espanol.
Angelus chicas, all negotiable. Best to rap with them and get private phone numbers.
By the way, Angelus used to give out a pretty good price on the dollar too ... black market rates. Haven't visited in a bit, not sure if that's still true.
Watch your back in Caracas!! Makes Colombia seem like Disney!! Serious.
Hi guys,
Anybody can recommend me the best and safe place to change dollars en Caracas. PM please
1. Have local hotels (not high-end types like Gran Melia) adjusted their rates to these black market rates? Or can one pay in bolivares?
You can pay anywhere in US$ or Bolivares but never pay with US$ a hotel or any other business, they will just give you the official rate. you can get twice as much Bolivares from anyone in the street. Safest is to do this with employees from your hotel for example.
2. Do places like Angelus and their chicas quote in dollars, or in bolivares? I know how to negotiate. Just want to know what to expect walking in. I always speak in local currency only. Apparently, sexycaracas has already switched prices in bolivares to ridiculous numbers.
Same as 1
3. What's the deal with the bridge from the airport? Has it been fixed yet? What's the current approx. time to/from airport outside of rush hour traffic periods?
Bridge has been fixed for monthes already. Still it will take you an hour between airport and center.
If you are a good good judge os Soth America, can you tell me which is the cheapest country for fucking pros and no pros?
I thank you!
I would have to say that currently it is Asuncion in Paraguay. USD$10 girls all the time.
Read some reports on ISG on it, it is great for short time sex.
Enjoy
Greeting guys,
I'll be making my first visit to Caracas next month, so I began my research here in advance. I don't speak Spanish, and based on what I've read so far, it doesn't look promising for my stay.
I do speak Spanish but I have travelled on my own to countries where I don't speak the local language. How I have solved the problem is to befriend a hotel employee and pay him to be my guide, make my phone calls and find me girls. Being an employee of the hotel where I am staying is much safer than asking a total stranger you meet in a bar to do this for you at a price.
It always works well and they act as a bit of a body guard as well because they have local knowledge of where to go and where to not go, you will be quite safe.
The other trick with them is not to pay them until you return safely to your room each night. That way they have an incentive to get you home safe and an incentive to not let anything happen to you or they will loose their job at the hotel.
Enjoy.

I second that PY is the cheapest....closely followed by Bolivia.
The most expensive i would say is Brasil and Chile/Uruguay.

anyone know of any good hotels in Caracas?
anyone know of any good hotels in Caracas?
If you want a good hotel, check on www.hotels.com for the four stars such as Gran Melia, Hilton, Marriott or Western, pricing about 200-300$ a night.

Since I will visit Venezuela soon, I was wondering if you can answer some questions for me:
1. Is it better to have cash Dollars or cash Euros for exchange?
What is the black market exchange rate for Euros?
2. How safe is the airport bus from CCS to the city? Can you recommend it?
Any help/ answer highly appreciated!

i really wouldn't waste my time in ccs. i am surprised that master yoda still has not been. i took the hit for everybody this time. i went back in october but i didn't post a report. i went to meet a hairstylist who i met online. i figured it's south america, how bad could this place be? the answer: very bad!
i landed and only had us$20 on me. i changed it at a booth and got about 40,000 bolivars. boy, i thought, just like colombia, dr, ecuador, peru, this 40,000 is going to take me a long way. wrong! since my flight arrived at 8pm, the little airport-city shuttle bus had already stopped. so when old girl arrived we had to take a taxi to her house. we went to the near end of the airport and she asked a driver how much it would be. he said $75. damn, i thought, she must live a hell of a long way. i gave her the money that i had exchanged. here baby, i only have 40,000 bolivars on me. she said that it was okay and she would pay the rest. so we went to the other end to find a cheaper taxi. she told me not to speak. $50, he said. she said it was a bargain and we hopped in and went to her house. (she actually lives in the barrio, but same same.) i set my stopwatch as always. 18m30s of highway driving and we arrive at the bottom of the barrio just off the exit. the rest of the night was just formality, stretching the ten minute walk up the hill out by stopping to meet cousins and aunts and having a beer with the family and finally getting to the house for a home-cooked meal followed by intense fucking.
she lives in her own house (shack) with her son. i would say the whole place is 20ftx10ft (yeah i live in the states and we are still on the assbackwards system). that includes kitchen/couch(10x10) separated by a doorway curtain that leads to the bedroom (5x10), which is separated by a wall to the bathroom/closet(5x10). her and her 15 year-old son share bunkbeds. but he does have sense enough to go to his friend's or cousin's houses at times to give us privacy.
the next day all three of us headed to the beach. we took one bus (the little ones that are independently owned) to downtown and another to the beach. the whole day she paid for everything because i had not been to an atm. two hours passed before we arrived at the beach, which is just 10 minutes on the other side of the airport. this must have been one of the worst beaches i have seen in my life. no sand, just dark brown dirt. and the dirtiest water. i ended up biting the bullet and getting in the water anyway.
we headed back to the house to take showers and go to dinner. but thinking of going up and down that hill, i said baby why not eat now, then go home to take showers and rest before going out. good idea she said. so when we got off the bus close to the barrio we walked to a restaurant. and a basic restaurant it was. we had 1 whole rotisserie chicken, boiled potatoes (nothing fancy, not even butter... just peeled, cut in half and boiled), her son had a personal-sized pizza, we had three glasses of juice and one bottle of water. $50 (fifty fucking dollars/87,000 fucking bolivars). i could have sworn the bill was wrong, but after looking at the menu again i went ahead and put it on my card.
so we leave there and go to the atm. baby, how much money will we be needing to go out tonight? well the taxi will be about $50 and we will spend about $75 at the club. $125 for a night out in a third-world socialist country? you have to be fucking kidding me. uh baby. i don't think we are going out tonight. there is no way i am going to spend more to go out here than i would in my own damn country. so we went back to the house to take showers, talk, watch music dvds and fuck.
when i left the next morning there was at least a 20 minute walk to catch the shuttle van (good thing i travel light). the shuttle was $6/person to the airport. i think it runs from 6am to 7pm, as for the location where you pick it up and it drops you...god only knows.
summary: this place is not recommended.
1) i know there are some blackmarket people where you can get us$ exchanged for twice the interbank exchange but everything will still be fairly expensive.
2) the women were not all that. you probably would not give them a second look. i think my girl was the best i had seen.
3) my friends tell me that other cities in venezuela are much cheaper than caracas.
4) i can not speak on p4p or hotels, but judging from the price of everything else...jesus!
5) y'all are grown men. make your own decision. maybe your experience will be different than mine, but why risk it. go to colombia or dr instead.
p.s. if anyone knows how the favelas in rio look just picture one big city full of them. that is caracas.
$50 (fifty fucking dollars/87,000 fucking bolivars)..
I've read on another board that on black market dollar was at 6300 bolivares, and Euro around 9200.
Venezuela seems damn cheap currently.
Try Valencia its somewhat cheaper, just 4 days ago I got 6150 bolivares per dollar, I was with a friend a native of Caracas and this was in Caracas.
If you go try Sexyvalencia.com, I was satisfied with Tahis, and later Carol.
Google "dolar permuta" or "euro permuta" to find out the free market rate that you can get from individual traders. The permuta rates are essentially a futures rate so there will be a slight variation. Also the farther away the trader is from Caracas, the better the rate you are likely to get. Today the futures rate is 5,100 Bolivars to the dollar.
of course you had a bad time. you paid official prices! any atm or credit card will get you raped. any and all mongers should arrive here with a huge wad of cash carefully hidden throughout their body and luggage. the larger the denominations the better. the beach you went to is a craphole beach because it is accessible by bus. all the poor people go there, [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134) in the water and don't pick up after themselves. the nice beaches are only accessible by car.
shopping for a fuck on line is always high risk in my book. you could have wound up in a hairdresser's favela in rio, lima or bogota.
in conclusion, venezuela is not the destination for the casual monger. you come here if you have scoured the forum, made a plan and brought a wad of cash.
[quote=mr enternational]
$125 for a night out in a third-world socialist country? you have to be fucking kidding me.
I am living in Caracas. the Grand Melia is a great hotel in a crappy part of town, near stripper bars and SW corners. The Marriott or Embassy Suites is near/in El Rosal which is neighborhood to most of the upmarket love hotels like the Hotel American Dallas.
You will notice on Sexy Caracas (which has a stanglehold on most P4P adverts) that the majority of girls operate in El Rosal. If you are just coming to fuck, you might want to see how much it would cost to book one of those hotels and skip the pretense of chica friendly.
I use a local car service. They recently picked me up Sunday night at the airport at 23:30 from a trip outside of Caracas and took me to my house on the other side of downtown.
The trip was 20 minutes, the driver had been waiting for me almost an hour. The cost was 80,000 Bolivars or 16 dollars at the free market rate. I paid in local currency. I don't think the driver would have complained if I had just given him a 20 dollar bill.
I don't think they speak English. But if any of you are interested I can post their phone number.

If you want safe and not get taken, i would use Reinaldo
http://www.venezueladriver.com/
I used many times before, he pick me up from the airport, took me everywhere i requested and make sure i got back to the hotel safe. He help me with the translation when getting girls. He can also take you ot the beach.
Dont know if anyone can speak more about him, but he is top notch in my book. IM if u want his email.

it's definitely not as user friendly as colombia. i never used atms, always exchanged money black market, and knew the places to go.
good luck ....

Coming to a foreign county and making the ladies pay for is more than cheap.
The only one that has to be blamed is you.
Travelling to Venezuela with 20 USD is naive if not stupid.
You could inform yourself here in the forum, you did not, its your responsibility.
But you prefer whinig and complaining about Venezuela.
And when only having 20 USD in the pocket every country is expensive.
And when your lady lives in the middle of nowhere you cant blame anybody that there is no busstop in front of her housedoor.
Stay at home and enjoy the local girls.
Thats not Caracas but your way of living aand seeing the world.
W.B.
Dude.
1. I never said I had a bad time. I had a good time. But it is not a place that will be high on my "to do again" list such as Rio, Bangkok, Puerto Plata, or Guayaquil. Next time I will skip Caracas and go experience Margarita Island.
2. I never travel with cash. I always use the ATM when I arrive and use my card at most places.
3. I never made anyone pay for anything. All day I kept saying that I need to go to the ATM and she kept telling me that we would go later.
4. She didn't live in the middle of nowhere. It was just a long walk up the hill.
5. There isn't much info in the Caracas section. It's one of the barest on ISG. If you click on page 5 in this thread it will take you back to the middle of 2006. Whereas page 5 in other threads won't even get you as far back as last week.
6. Every country is not expensive with $20. As I explained to her, in Colombia with $50 I can take a taxi from the airport($7), get a good hotel for a night($25), eat a decent meal($4), and go out to party(with the $14 left over). And she agreed because she has family there and travels there a lot.
7. The gist of what I am saying is that Caracas does not come close to a city that one should be paying $200-$300 for a hotel (according to Routard's post) or $50 or $75 for a taxi. Hell, how much are those same brand hotels in the States? It is not like it's Paris, Tokyo, or London and in no way resembles either one. As I said it looks like a big ass ghetto. As a matter of fact what is the first picture I see when looking up Caracas on Lonely Planet? http://www.lonelyplanet.com/worldguide/venezuela/caracas
There are much better places to go for chicks pro and/or non-pro.
8. Again I repeat to everyone in the Caracas thread, do not listen to me. I am only reporting on my personal experience. GO GET YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE and report back.
No doubt Mr. International is internationally cheap and unscrupulous...
Coming from a wealthy country with US$20 in hand and using ATM as excuses for not paying...man you are less than nothing...
How could you take advantage on that poor favela woman (whom surely spent a last penny to satisfy your greed) and then brag yourself in this forum...
Be decent...be a man Mr. Stingo Cheap.

Maybe something is getting lost in translation, for I MADE (caused, induced, or compelled) no one pay for anything. Did you read carefully that she said that is okay and that she had money? I did not say woman I came all the way here to Venezuela, I only have $20 to my name, so you MUST pay for this, that, or the other. It was not like that.
However that is the relationship I have with most women/people. They do not mind doing things or spending their own money. They are not all out looking for a man to spend money. They have their own shit and don't play the cry baby poor girl role that many mongers are used to seeing pros play.
How did I take advantage of anyone and what greed did I satisfy? I do not recall getting anything out of the deal. We took a damn taxi together. Took the bus together, sat at the beach together, ate snacks and drank water together. She spent $50 max. You guys make it out as if I swindled someone out of $10,000.
What did I brag about? I simply wrote a report. Take it for what it is.
Who said she was a POOR favela woman or that I came from a wealthy country and was rich? She works everyday just like me. As a matter of fact, I tried to call her yesterday, but her son said she was travelling. He was happy to hear from me and asked me when I would return.
This was not a mongering evolution, and even if it was I do not remember being elected as the person who was to make all mongers proud by throwing money all over the place. Neither am I a person that must spend money in order to get people to be around me or like me. When I have a friendship or relationship with someone it is not based on money. Neither I, nor they could care less how much money the other person has or spends. Money is not a cure-all and I do not need to use it in lieu of my personality and do not need to spend it in order to determine my self-worth.
Last year I have been in Caracas for two months . It was relatively easy to change dollar 1:5000.
I did it in restaurants, airport and through my friends. With such rate I paid
For taxi in the city from $3 to $6, local beer 60 cents, dinner $5, hotel $26, girls in studios $20-25,
Subway ticket 8 cents! Sometimes women insisted to pay for dinner. Women have money
in Venezuela and they want to spend money too. I don’t think that Enternational deserved such a bad
reviews. Certainly Enternational made mistake using ATM instead of cash but he is right that Caracas is not very easy city. I found a lot of others problems in Caracas too.

I hear ya amigo.
I could care less how much money you spent or if a chica paid for dinner. Big deal. None of my business.
Actually, I wish I could find one to buy me dinner .... just once!! hahaha.
I'm guessing that was your first visit to Caracas. A first vist anywhere is always a learning experience.
I just wanted to say that I've had some great times in Caracas.
It's definitely different than Colombia, has it's problems, but definitely has some great chicas and fun times to be had.
Probably not a great destination for an inexperienced guy or non-spanish speaker though.
Take care ....
I arrived at 3pm at my Hotel (Eurobuilding, 470. B$F by night) and began to work on my computer (Free Internet by wire). 2 hours later, I decided to look for activity. I browsed sexycaracas.com to find a nice girl, but, I realised that the firewall was filtering the sites I wanted to explore. So I looked for a proxy to bypass the filter and finally found http://www.online-proxy.net that did the job.
I choose to call an agency as it is so difficult to call an independent girl.
At that game, Hadas del deceo was my choice as they had a beautiful very skinny girl. Unfortunately, she was not available when I called and had to wait for an hour as she had just left for another service. I asked who was there and I was tolled that Karen was available and that she was small and skinny.
I looked for her on sexycaracas and said ok send her.
She arrived 25 minutes later at my hotel. I had to go for her as the elevators only work with the door key. She is not that small or skinny but she looked ok to me. We went to the room and we had a shower when we start to explore each other. In no time, she had my dick in her hand and her second hand was fingering me. That was delicious! But I had to keep control for not coming immediately. After the shower, we went to the bed and I gave her my favourite DATY. She remained like that for a while and at a moment put me on my back, covered me and start to blow. I asked her if she couldn’t give me a BBBJ, but no, she would do everything covered.
Her oral technique is good, but, of course, it’s not as good when I’m covered. After that we start the intercourse but she has pain. We tried several positions but she still had pain. So I asked her if she wanted to stop and leave it there but she told me to keep on screwing (but not to hard).
After a few minutes she was dry and had no lub. I proposed her a body cream I had but she didn’t want that as it would hurt her even more.
She then took the condom out, and start a very good and strong HJ. I came after 5 minutes.
We then talk a little bit for the remaining time.
She wants to quit soon sucking dicks and establish a small business in a shop.
She has 3 kids and, of course, no one to help her.
I really can’t recommend her for mongering.
I have made one movie with Karen.

An Excellent Report. Top honors for providing the film clip. It really gave a vibe about her. Leaving the storm & strife for a business trip to Maracaibo. Will try to get some play in and report.
A fellow monger has been asking me for help on planning his sex tour to Venezuela and beyond. I sent the following to him via PM and then thought it might be of use to other members.
I have been doing some research. I would choose hotels like the Crillon, Tampa or Hotel Caracas Cumberland. These are about 40 dollars a night at teh open exchange rate.
http://www.hotelcrillon.com.ve/ubicacion.htm
http://www.hoteltampa.com.ve/
http://www.hotelescumberland.com/
All are ideally located near Sabana Grande and Libertador, where you will find most of the wh0re houses, oops I mean spas and estudios.
If you want cheaper hotels, just about anything on Avenida de Las Acacias will suit your needs rooms are between 85,000 http://www.hoteles.com.ve/hotel/Hotel_Cuatricentenario/440 and 120,000 bolivars a night. Some only rent by the hour. I cannot vouch for their safety or cleanliness. Some even have girls operating out of them.
http://gocemoslojuntos.com/venezuela/Hoteles.html
For finding bargain fucks I would recommend the following strategy. (Disclaimer: Because of work and other considerations I have not yet mongered in Venezuela, but this is how I would do it)
Get the names/phone numbers in advance of massage parlors (estudios) from the sexycaracas website. There are pictures, so you will have at least some idea of the general quality of the girls they hire.
Go to the newspaper. I've found Ultimas Noticias to be the best. Most fucks are 90-140,000 bolivars which covers oral, vaginal and two pops in an hour. There is usually a surcharge for anal.
Call the ads that mention spas, estudios or phone numbers NOT starting with 0412, 0414 or 0416 for day time fun. Most of these apartment brothels are located on or near Libertador, Sabana Grande or Francisco Miranda avenues. Pay attention, most of them close by 7PM. That is because Sabana Grande is a "No Go" zone at night.
After 6PM you can take a taxi or the metro to the Centro Comercial Sambil to hit on the non-pros or start calling the ads that start with 0412, 0414 or 0416 because those are girls or pimp agencies with mobile phone numbers. Note Centro Comercial San Ignacio turns into a big pick up joint after 11PM on Friday and Saturday nights.
I hope this helps.
Returned from Caracas about a week or so ago. I like the Sexy Caracas website, never had any kind of problem with phome numbers beginning with 0414, 0416 etc.day or nite. Just my input, begin calling Chicas on the site for about 6 yrs.
Please don't misunderstand my post. I was only suggesting that he call the land lines to the apartment brothels during the day when it is safe to walk the streets and to call the mobiles and have the chicas come by his room after 7 PM.
