And most of the hottest Venezolanas have already left to the US, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile. For example if you go to Mexico City there are some absolutely stunning Venezolanas escorting there you can bang for around $100 USD, and there are some very nice Venezolanas working in Colombia charging Colombian prices which can be somewhat economical.

The Venezuelans are very family oriented. They are not individualists like Americans who strike out alone. I came across many people that have lived in Italy, Norway, Argentina, but have returned home to Venezuela because they missed family members. It is true that many beautiful girls have left, but they come home from time to time to visit family members, and this is where you "run" into them. There are still thousands on the ground in Caracas, absolutely gorgeous, that choose to remain with family members. Many are students or professionals that may choose to make some money on the side.

The number one headache is getting money exchanged. If you plan your trip ahead of time, you can have your money changed before you arrived so that you can get ready to party. You will have the time of your life and still bring a lot of money back home with you.

Well if you happen to "run into them" Venezuelan chicas who are returning home from working in other countries, they are most likely NOT going to do anything with you for Venezuelan prices since they are already used to making the big bucks in Mexico, Colombia, Spain. So good luck with that.

The number one headache for me is accessing cash. I have friends who lend m a debit card so I can easily exchange my dollars. This is fine when dealing with spas and agencies, but some semi-pro chicas don't have bank accounts and prefer to be paid in cash.

And the party scene in Caracas is OK, but not so great due to the security concerns. Las Mercedes nightclubs are great, and San Ignacio has a cool scene, Chacaito is cool too. I like to drink in las tascas too, but Caracas is nothing like Colombia when it comes to nightlife. In Caracas so many people are scared to death to party at night, completely different from Colombia. Another thing it's almost impossible to find a taxi very late at night. One night I was leaving Angelus strip club very late at night with a buddy and we waited for a very long time to find a taxi to take us back to our hotel by the UCV. And uber doesn't operate in Venezuela.

Plane landed yesterday.

After changing a few dollars in Caracas airport, guys in camo arrested my taxi (150 meters from the airport) to tell me that they have me on camera doing illegal things (changing money out of a "casa de cambio" They kept me on the side of the street 20 minutes, asking tons of questions about my money and I continually answered that I will only talk in a police station, not in the street, they gave up and I arrived at my hotel.

Price for the taxi was 450000 bsf around 4.5 dollars at dolartoday rate.

BTW, how do you connect on dolartoday from Vnz? It seems that the site refuses the connection (well, at least from my hotel). I'm installing a VPN to avoid this limitation but you?

I have not been able to really change since I'm here, only a few at a low rate in the airport. I'm looking for a contact to get a card, which so far is not something easy to find. One doormen told me that he could have me a little bit of cash for Tuesday, well, still better than nothing, but a workaround would be appreciated. Can anybody reading this help with that?

Otherwise it is pretty calm here nothing special. All I can say is you have some BIG BALLS going through all of that just to get some cheaply priced Venezuelan tail. If the guys who stopped you were "guardia civil" they could've arrested you and charged you with anything they feel like. Google "Joshua Holt", he's a gringo who is still locked up in Venezuela on some bullsh*t charges.

If you do happen to find someone who lend you their bank card make sure that you trust the person. I had a local lend me his card then I started noticing the bastard was stealing the money that I was depositing into the account. I think he was logging into the online account and transferring my money to another account of his. The best place I've found to access Venezuelan cash is in Cucuta Colombia at the bus station, but that doesn't help much since you're already all the way in Caracas. Good luck and report back how everything goes.

Ask some locals or taxi drivers about "LOS hoteles" where working girls are available. I think they're like upscale love motels in the El Rosal area. This is the one thing I regret not checking out while I was in town. Other than that my best advice is get your ass to Colombia where you can buy more hot Venezuelan pussy than you'll be able to handle without all the headaches and hassles.

While I don't entirely agree with Jinxx's negative view on Venezuela, I have to say this: If you plan to come here, you MUST have every detail worked out. Something that was simple just a year ago, exchanging dollars at black market rates, nowadays can be a pain in the ass.

Thank you for the great report. I'm always happy to hear more about Venezuela. When you talked about the visa process, you mentioned a name of someone to visit in Venezuela was needed. How did you over come that? Also what was your experience exchanging money, debit card or cash? It's also good that you had reliable people on the ground. As soon as my membership upgrade goes through I will be building my contacts as well.

Thank you once again for the info.Colombia is not a paradise by no stretch of the imagination. Like Venezuela, it is fraught with dangers. You also have to keep your guard up. I have visited Medellin at least 10 times and Venezuela once. A friend had his phone taken from his hands while making a call in Poblado by two guys on a motorbike. When he tried to intervene, a gun was pointed at him. Another tourist had a gun pointed at him, and a watch and chain was stolen. At nighttime, I always have a taxi waiting for me at the club. I never stand on the side the road and try to flag down a taxi. The major problem with travel to Vzla is the money issue. Bell boys will change your money, but for a 50% discount. So, if the rate is 100,000 bolivares to the dollar, they will give you 50,000 bolivares to the dollar. Out side of the big cities, the countryside of Venezuela is safe and people are very friendly. The same can not be said about Colombia where paramilitaries roam in the countryside. Today, the UN has reported that cocaine production is at an all time high in Colombia, greater than before the drug eradication efforts with Plan Colombia. Colombia has the most displaced people in the world, even more than the Sudan. Leave Poblado and you come face to face with the real Colombia. The one major advantage that Colombia has is ease of use of ATM with visa / MasterCard. VZLA needs to let its currency float to determine its true value.

There is the case of an american locked up in prison in Vzla. This guy was living in the barrio with his fiance, and was found with a grenade and an automatic machine gun. No country is going to tolerate that.

The debit card issue in VZLA can be overcome, but not with one visit. One will have to make several visits and establish connections with an attorney or accountant to get one set up for you. Once set up, its game on! Everything is so ridiculously inexpensive. If you plan to go to Vzla, you may make contacts with guys on this board who have established contacts in Vzla. Some charge for the service. Overall, as I said before, Vzla is dangerous but no more dangerous than Colombia.

Some charge for the service. Overall, as I said before, Vzla is dangerous but no more dangerous than Colombia.Venezuelans are currently FLOODING INTO Colombia BY THE THOUSANDS. What does that tell you? Go to any red light district in Colombia and you will find mostly Venezuelan women working there charging cheaper prices than the local Colombianas.

Yes you can engage in activities in Venezuela at ridiculously low prices, but jeez is it really worth it? Is Colombia not cheap enough for you? Seriously I believe that there are MORE Venezolanas selling pussy in Colombia than there are in Venezuela, which in a way is sad for them but it's AWESOME for mongers. Not only is Colombia inundated with beautiful Venezuelan working girls, they're pushing the going rates down because Colombian pesos are extremely valuable compared to Venezuelan money.

And if you like rumba / party Colombia is 10 times better than Caracas. In Colombia they party all night in every barrio. In Caracas outside of a couple of districts, the streets are dead silent after dark.

Yes I know I sound negative, but with that being said I personally love Venezuela. Nobody loves Venezuela more than me. I had a blast there, but it was NOT easy and I can't honestly recommend Venezuela to other gringos. I never personally got robbed there, but friends of mine did and in broad daylight.

Positives- The people / chica watching in Caracas is superlative. Just walking the streets, riding the metro, going to a shopping mall WOW you will see gorgeous women everywhere. And although Venezuela is supposedly "poor" it does NOT stop them from dressing very nice and looking great when out in public. Although rumba / nightlife isn't nearly as easy to find compared to Colombia, when you do find it it is pretty freaking great. Venezuelans LOVE to drink and party the night away.

Another thing that kind of sucks is that in March the cops shut down most of the spas in Caracas, for some stupid reason. Now there are only maybe 2 or 3 spas in the city whereas there used to be 10 or more.

As for the case of Joshua Holt he was a mormon missionary who was in Venezuela to file for a marriage visa for his wife who he met online. There are witnesses stating that the police PLANTED the guns in the apartment in order to file charges on him. Do you really believe that a mormon guy who is in Vzla to meet up with his wife is going to be stockpiling rifles and grenades? And the courts are not giving him due process. They continue to postpone his court date and trial keeping him locked up indefinitely and THEY DO NOT EVEN ALLOW THE US EMBASSY OFFICIALS ACCESS TO VISIT HIM! I don't know about you but I find that VERY SCARY. The Venezuelan government and police are complete mafia criminals. They do not respect just legal process at all. They lock up anybody they want for any reason they feel like and there is nothing or nobody to stop them.

And regarding Colombia, I know it is not 100% safe but I personally walk anywhere I please and I've never been robbed in the streets of Colombia. I do NOT recommend others to do so but I hang out in shady rough areas of Medellin and Cucuta with no problem. I walk all over el centro Medellin day and night and since I'm too lazy to use uber I never hesitate to jump into any taxi from the street. Your average gringo should NOT do the things I do but from my personal experience I've never been robbed in the street in Colombia.

Read all thoses statistics, economical or whatever comments in the reports section instead of reports (today I did this, found that, etc.) is a pain in the ass. Subjects you are talking about (all those red flags and warnings) are important but they must be kept separated from the reports.

OK Sunday was not such a good day. I did not want to write it here because I'm not very confident in the ability of some people to be patient and understanding with themselves but I will write it anyway: I'm afraid that with stress of the situation the guys from the airport did not gave me the expected amount of money (as Maracucho said you cannot trust them). Looking back at it, I can see that I was so focused on verifying if I was not getting scammed with counterfeit money that I forgot to count.

So after paying the taxi from the airport and another one to visit a bit, I was already out of efectivo.

I've been around sabana grande to find a store which could accept to change me some cash but eventually, while speaking with a moto cab he told me he could get me somewhere to change. (Are you saying that this is risky? Sure it is).

Capitolio is the metro station close to where he took me and soon I had the confirmation that it was a well known place to change. That was actually the problem (not the guy at all) because as soon as I had my feet landed, police municipal appeared asking to everybody to show the cedula. No need to go into details, changing on the black market was illegal the day before and still it is. They took me apart, like 100 meters from the changing guys and my driver, then they started the same than the day before. They were younger than the army guys. They asked what should we do, and again I answered that I accept them to drive me to the police station. I was not showing some ballzy attitude or what, I just answer calmly that well, they are right and I want to go to the police station. After a few minutes of this, they asked how can they help me, I explained myself and they offered me 2.500.000 for 50 dollars (the police guys, yes, nobody else was allowed to speak with me at this time anyway, and there was also a young policewoman who joined a few minutes earlier). I asked them to get me 2.750.000, a few seconds earlier I was being arrested so I was not feeling in the mood of a hard and strong bargain. They told me that, yes, it seems reasonable, and they tried to find me the cash. They called almost all the street, really, I saw them speaking with I don't know how many exchangers one after the other. But they kept telling me that cash is a rare commodity and finally they gave up because none of the exchangers had the needed amount. They gave me my money back and asked my driver to take me back to my place (or to another, actually I don't know).

After paying the guy I was then without not even one bsf.

Jet lag, I went to sleep and somehow I was still confident about the fact that maybe I would get out of this, but surely not by looking for cash.

Yesterday in the morning I managed to get one card from somebody who seems reliable and to change cash. Rate is 85 k on the bank account and 55 k en efectivo.

Yes it is better (the truth is that it is unvaluable, not only better) to have contacts here who can solve this money issue for you in advance, I mean, before your plane lands, still it was not such a bad experience (it was not a pleasant one, for sure) and I have learned a lot about myself in two days.

By the way, I went out yesterday and spent a really relaxing time in El Canagua club.

Dear reader, if you want to give me lessons, or share any kind of bad thoughts, I want to let you know that they are not welcome (like not at all, sincerely). But if bad thoughts are the only things you allow yourself to share, we are on a forum so go ahead, let it out.

I just want to suggest you to instead post a report, it will be very apreciated.

Rate is 85 k on the bank account and 55 k en efectivo. It is the correct rate, you got.

I am in Caracas as well and its the going rate. Its correct almost no one has efectivo at least in Caracas.

Bank rate- 15% less than black market rate.

Efectivo- 50% surcharge on bank rate.

Hope this helps.

Here is some good advice for you. Go to Angelus strip club or Morrison's strip club. There you will be able to use your bank card to fuck hot women. You will not be able to use the bank card to use an escort agency because you would need to pay them with a "transferencia" or cash. You can only use the card with people who have a "punto de venta" to scan the card. Another thing you most definitely should do is find a taxi driver who will take you to "LOS hoteles", they are love hotels where there are girls working at the hotel. There you should be able to use your bank card.

I've already asked several times and nobody has bothered to answer about the love hotels where there are working girls available. MaraCucho you are local Caracas right? What do you know about these hotels? What other strip clubs are good besides Angelus and Morrison's?

Another approach you may want to try is find a semi pro girlfriend who will fuck you and you pay her by taking her to buy groceries or clothes at the store maybe?

Walk down Av Las Acacias by Av Canssanova there are a few bars, hotels, and at least one strip club there. Go into some of the bars there and see what you can find. And please report back.

Excuse me for asking a dumb question but, these bank cards have other peoples names on them?

Why would a restaurant / bar or hotel accept a bank card with someone else's name on it.

How is money put onto the card to take advantage of the black market rate. I am assuming bolivares are deposited into the bank but, if finding cash to exchange is the issue to begin with how does one get the cash to put onto the card? Seems like a catch 22.

Thank you as I am quite curious.

Thank you as I am quite curious. One way is to find someone with a US or Panamanian bank account where you can paypal / zelle transfer them USD and they then transfer Bsf to your Venezuelan account to load your card.

When you use the card at a punto de venta you have to give the the cedula number of the account owner which you should have memerized.

Hi,

Don't want to post a long report.

Summary of the things I encountered:

- the big club in CC bello campo (I think it is Antonella's) refused to take my card.

- the smaller one accepted, I don't remember the name.

- Dallas refuses to take my card. There are working girls there. I booked from an agency and the girl was ringing at the door 5 minutes after my call. Also, I was having a drink at the bar and the barman offered me some help by bringing 4 or 5 girls.

- Gil-Mar, just in front of Dallas refused to take my card.

- finding the studios from the information we have here has been difficult. Some of them are not easy to find without detailed explanations.

What do you know about these hotels? What other strip clubs are good besides Angelus and Morrison's?I am from Maracaibo, so my experience un Caracas is a bit limited. The only hotels like that I know are in the "Calle de LOS Hoteles", in Avenida Acacias near Plaza Venezuela. I know there are more near the center of Caracas (near Nuevo Circo and La Hoyada), but I have never been there myself for such purposes. Asking a taxi driver for info on the matter probably would be useful.

About the strip clubs, if you know the Morrison in la Castellana, there are actually quite a few more in the same area.

Kiss Gentlemen's Club is in the old CC Mata de Coco, right next to CC San Ignacio. Pleasure's Girl's Night Club is in CC La Placette in Altamira, in the cross of Transversal 3 with Av. Don Bosco, right across the big Banco Mercantil building. It can be a bit difficult to find because it's semi-hidden in the parking lot of a restaurant, but you can find the location in google maps. Trio's Club is pretty easy to find, it's in the Torre Letonia, right across the street from the Marriot Renaissance hotel. Instead of taking the main entrance, you go down the stairs to the left of the building, and the first door to the left is the club.

Another decent club I found is in a different area, Paradis Gentlemens Club in CC LOS Chaguaramos. Even if the taxi driver doesn't know the place, it's also easy to find because it's located next to the Unversidad Bolivariana.

EDIT: Had to edit all the instances of shortening "Centro Comercial", because if I put a "C" and a period, the forum would change it into "see.", pretty odd.

I used it for three weeks in 2005. I used my card 5 times, only at the hotels, one beach store and one airport store.

They ran up $5000 on my card. They bought car parts, hamburgers, they used in a few casinos and other things.

Hi,

I tried El Rora (90 k short time standard room), Dallas (around 160 k), Gil Mar. (around 130 k), Aladin, and another one: the owner of the card has to be there, otherwise it is a no go.

American Dallas accepted but I had to explain myself and it did really sound like a one time favor.

There is a restaurant on the right when you leave American Dallas, a few girls were waiting there at 5 am today. I think they spend the night here. I forgot the name but I will probably see it soon.

The club Ibiza has a lot of very pretty girls inside. One them was really better looking than all (she has everything in the right proportions and the right place).

It closes around 5.30 am and I can use my card there. I saw like 50 or more girls. They all were really nice looking, and I would say a good 20% were more than nice looking.

Price is also way higher (and experience told me that more expansive does not mean better quality) 1. 500.000 bsf separated 50/50 between club and girls (to be confirmed) if you go to a room and something like 2. 000.000 if you want to take her out. There are frequent shows and pole dancing during the night. Girls come to your table if you are alone. At the very beginning I was not really sure about the public there, a few girls are casually dressed inside. But after a few secs I saw a girl taking her boobs out on the table she was sitting at in front of everybody and then all doubts were gone.

I had a very good time there, at some moments there was brasilian funk music and reggaeton.

El Canagua has all types of girls. Last time they were at least 15 to 20 and some of them are really hot looking.

A lot of clubs were closed yesterday by night.

I tried Trio's yesterday and the day before: closed. I have been told that they did have some trouble, and I understood that it will not be opened before January (not sure about this part if I correctly heard).

The one in CC mata de coco was closed when I went yesterday around 11 pm.

The one in CC la placette also, the day before too.

Ibiza was opened but I wanted to try a new one. After checking all those, I decided to go sleep.

Morrison was closed Wednesday, forgot to try yesterday.Odd. The clubs in CC Mata de Coco and in CC La Placette even open during daytime, I know this for sure. Seems like there is some sort of situation going on with those places.

I am sorry to say thisIf you feel sorry to say something before you say it, then just don't.

but even people born and bred in Caracas don't go to Capitolo Metro station to change money.Well then let me tell you that a moto taxi from Caracas took me exactly there so you might to be careful about what you say because it is not true. Obviously experience shows that some people born and bred in Caracas sometimes go there to change. Is it a good or bad idea, that is another story.

I am not sure who advised you to go there!Nobody advised anything, did you read the post? I have been taken there by a local which obviously knew where he was taking me.

Its extremely dangerous even for locals!

I am glad you escaped unscathed. No particular danger seen, many normal people crossing the place some making photos (there is "I don't know what special building" there). Place was crossed a lot by the police so may be it is the reason why the place is not unsecure anymore if it has been. Actually the only problem was the police. Please note that it was daytime.

But well in the end I do apreciate your kindness for wishing me to stay unscathed.

I was in Caracas between December 19th and December 22nd.

Arrival:

Having read all the previous warning about the hustling and badgering at Caracas airport, I thought I was prepared for any eventualities. I had finished the Learn Spanish with John Noble Course a few days before my trip and it made me feel confident that I could speak Spanish as good as the native speakers. My first rude awakening was inside the flight to Caracas when I tried to speak to the flight attendants in Spanish, but every time they did not understand what I was saying; I tried not toilet this dampen my spirit, so I assumed because they are a Portuguese airline, the first language of the attendants might be Portuguese and not Spanish.

On arrival to the immigration desk, I had put $20 in my pocket to settle the officials but I was determined to push it as far as I could. I would rather tip a girl with the money than give it to some corrupt officers.

I was bombarded by lots of questions in Spanish that I started sweating profusely and did not even know what they were asking. I was told to wait until they brought an official who could speak English. She asked me the most set of ridiculous questions imaginable like confirmation letter from employer that I work for them, my passport does not look real. I countered by showing them showed them a page printout that confirms that UK nationals do not need Visa for entry, confirmation of my hotel booking and my return ticket to Bogota UT to no avail.

I was almost about ready to give them the $20 when I started thinking about my pre-booked taxi leaving when they looked at me in the most disgusted way possible and told me to go.

I met my taxi driver outside and away to my hotel we did go. I was handed the bank card and sim card that I had prepaid for.

The time was around 6:00 pm at this point and thought I should quickly call some agencies to get a girl or two to relieve the pressure I have been through.

All the agencies I spoke through kept saying I should pay them through "transferencia" or "effectivo", I quickly contacted my link through who I got the card but he said the card was not registered for online banking.

I spoke to the receptionist and the hotel manager to see if they could help me change some dollars to effectivo, but they said there was nothing. I promised the dooran a $20 tip ifhe could help me get it but he said nobody has cash in Venezuela and all the cash has been taken to Culcutta.

I was extremely tired at this point combined with a 12 hour flight from Europe that I did know what to do and fell asleep.

The following day, I contacted a few agencies about accepting dollars, none would not bulge from $20 for two hours, one agency even said $40 for one hour. I had one girl over for $20 for 2 hours. The service was great.

In the evening I took a taxi to San Igancio to eat there, on getting there, the taxi driver demanded for his money of 50,000 Bsf, I brought out the debit card to pay him but he started saying, "no punto". Luckily I had a one pound coin in my wallet and gave it to the driver. I told him the pound "es mas que dolares" and he looked happy when he collected. After eating I was effectively stranded at this point in a dangerous country where I couldn't even speak the language because I had left all my dollars at the hotel, I walked to the authorized taxi stand and tried to explain my circumstances in my broken Spanish to the lady inside the office. She said nobody has a punto to take card payments but later she called over a driver and said I should negotiate with him.

The driver seemed like a nice person and I wanted him to take me to a few clubs and asked if I could pay him with my tarjeta, he said he would try his best and see if the places we are going to could give him cashback in Bolivares.

I told him I wanted to try Trio, Ibiza, El Canagua and Antonella. Trio was closed when we got there, Ibiza said they would not let me in without seeing my passport, we ended up at Antonella, they initially refused to take my card, but after showing them the copy of the owner's cedular, they accepted it. There were about 20 girls working on a Sunday and I was happy when they said said I could pay for the girls with my card. I took two girls to my hotel for 2 hours for 4,000,0000, the service from the girls pale in comparison to the escort where everything was on offer.

The next day, there was no light and internet in Caracas for about 8 hours during the daytime, so could not even contact the agencies as I depended on Whatsapp for the translation. When the internet came back on, I quickly contacted the previous night's driver to let him we would be going out again in the evening. I told him we should go to the place Maracucho suggested, Studio Piccola, in Las Mercedes, but the driver said it was a far from where we are so we went to Antonella again and the ladies recognize me again and I took two stunning ladies back to my hotel room again, I was still doing the business when the receptionist called my room to inform me that my prebooked taxi was already downstairs to take me to the airport for my 07:00 flight to Bogota.

Verdict.

Venezuela has some of the most stunning ladies on the planet and even some of the most beautiful ladies I met in Colombia are Venezuelans, but the country is not suitable for mongering at this point in time.

Good know that immigration likes to see confirmation of employer. A backpacker on a gap year would send them into a pink fit! Unbelievable how rude they were to a bona fide tourist entitled to 90 days, visa-free. Show them the regulations (for Europeans), in Spanish, such as from their embassy in Spain. What do seasoned Venezuela travellers think about simply putting $20 into the passport, with a wink and a smile? If flying in to Valencia international airport, immigration is more pleasant than Caracas -- but you then have the 2-hour ride to the capital to contend with.

Your ATM card was unfortunately not set up for online banking and transfers -- and online payment machines (puntos) were not used by taxis, or the clubs you visited (except Antonella). So a good mixture of small US bills would have saved you a lot of grief. Anyone can carry in up to $10,000 without declaring it. Good luck to the taxi redeeming his British pound ($1.34) ... one for his son's coin collection, methinks.

End of this trip for me.

Except the begining that has been kind of complicated due to the lack of change and the corruption, everything was mostly fine.

This forum through the big amount of informations found in the reports but also through direct forum members assistance has provided unvaluable help.

I will not extend on the report, several clubs were closed during my stay and may or not reopen during January.

Prices are low (depending on where you go and what you look for), I did not have to face insecurity but I was cautious most of the time. No issue to eat, even outside, not seen any politic related event or violence.

Clubs are relaxing and there are beautiful ladies available to ensure that you will spend a good time.

Greetings fellow deviants!

For those with recent or current on-the-ground experience in Caracas, can you please share insight on how easy it is to pick up girls from malls, waitresses, walking around, etc? If so, please provide a description of how that scenario might play out, assuming you explain that you're a foreigner and you're looking for a nice night out. Would that be received as a normal asking out for a date or should the foreigner assume it is a for-money transaction? How does the woman's age factor into the equation?

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,

I want to go to Venezuela too but I like to go with travel buddy if there are any? Where can I find them or travel group? I'm from northern California.I am awaiting my tourist Visa, probably leave for VNZ in March. It's tempting to dream but traveling there can't happen without a T. Visa. There are many people on this forum with tremendous experience and when the time comes I will reach out to them. One idea I had was finding an English speaking escort and pay her for a few days. LOL at the going rates it could be a bargain and a lot of fun. $50 usd a day? Just an idea. Who knows of escort services that might assist with that? Or individual escorts?

In truth you can get by with pigeon Spanish and a translation app. It worked well enough for me.

"they do not give an explanation". Guess they don't want us Americans right now. Everyone I've spoken to thinks I'm better off. Now going to Colombia. SFC says "you can reapply later". (Meaning after Maduro is gone?) Interesting they sent back the $30 money order. Weird. I wonder if they even have an office that's open in Caracas. It's a beautiful country. I'll get there in the future. See you all on the Colombia boards.

After reading the inspiring threads from fellow board members Haitek and the ThePrince, I thought I will take the plunge and enjoy what this unique city in Latin America has to offer.

The information provided on the forum here was (to be completely honest) only partially useful. I found that I needed to do a lot of research prior to getting on the plane. A couple of helpful members responded but the Venezuela forum is pretty much dead.

Flights.

Skyscanner seems to be the best way to compare flights. Other sites like Momondo also offer competitive prices. But I eventually bought my tickets through Despegar, the Latin American version of Skyscanner and similar sites. Even though I am charged in USD after conversion and fees it was worth it. I booked my flight two months in advance but I have later come to learn that that has it's upsides and downsides.

Tips on flights for UK / Europe travellees, BA and affiliates through the One World program are really good. Avoid doing your connection at Paris as it is a large airport and quite busy especially if you have a short transfer window. I always advise giving yourself an increased transfer window to avoid the stress, rush and the risk of your luggage not making to the destination.

Avoid having touch down times at night. They are considered unsafe as the airport is in Maiquetia about 45 minutes away from Caracas. I exited the airport just before sunset and it got dark on the journey. Personally I didn't find it dangerous or intimidating but I would not think it is worth the risk if you can catch an earlier landing time.

Visa.

All UK citizens holding a British passport have no problems here. Bring your documents proving your flight return, hotel you will be staying in and bring a payslip or evidence of employment as I have heard they are very strict sometimes and do not want hippy backpackers in their country. I did not get questions about employment, just return flight and hotel.

Transfers & Money.

This is linked very closely to money. Getting cash in the country is more or less impossible. There is an official licensed Taxi Rank just as you exit the airport, this is the only exit there is that I saw. How you will pay them will be a problem. I have been told by locals here that fares from the airport to the city are currently 500 k BsF which means it is the equivalent of roughly $2.5-$3. I am just hypothesising here but if you were to pay in dollars they will ask more, the region of $5-$20 depending on the driver and how easy he can get it exchanged.

I organized transfers and a bank card through TaxiToCaracas website as recommended by several others on the internet. He responds usually a day later in email conversation but credit to the guy he was able to confirm my payment and organise it all within 3 days. Very good even if I think the cost is much much higher than compared to what people ask for on the ground. One way $35 and return is $70.

He also offers sim card option which is $20 but only with 1 GB. I did not take him up on this offer. You can purchase it cheaper in the malls.

The main reason I went with this company is because they offer money changing service. Because cash is impossible now (they say all the money goes to Cucuta and Maicao- government blames mafia but could really be individuals trying to make a fortune and get out of the country) they offer a debit card with a copy of the cedula (local ID card) and an authorisation letter. The copy is as small as the debit card. So far I have not had any issues paying (apart from the first incident and some after) most people accept the payment but I will strongly advise that you check before receiving any service that they are ok and maybe will take payment before serving you in case there is a problem. If payment doesn't go through you will have no other way to pay as dollars is not "legally" acceptable as a form of payment here.

Money.

The exchange rate can be seen at dolartoday website. It is quite straightforward and while you are in Venezuela you cannot access the site. Twitter is your best friend. Their account shares the same information. Bear in mind the website is considered a propaganda site and possibly an agent of the US trying to destabilise the nation. A lot of their news articles are anti-government and I have now come to question the authenticity of some their articles.

When I initially booked the value of the BsF was dropping massively compared to the dollar. This means that every week your dollars could pay for more goods and services at a much cheaper rate. Over the last two months the currency has stopped it's free fall and plateaued at 230 k BsF per dollar. This is good for the Venezuelan people and their economy and bad for the tourist.

Before if the hotel sets its price at $20 per night by the end of the week it is equivalent to $2-$5 per night. Now it is fixed price. Also this means demand for dollars as a more stable currency holding value has decreased.

TaxiToCaracas will exchange your dollars at 60% of the dolartoday value which is not great at all. You can get it about 200 k BsF from the local people. There is no cash so all money is held in bank accounts. The guy doesn't give you access to online banking so you can't make payment by transfer (transferencia) and he will charge you $3 per transferencia. So really just a good way to help you hit the ground running and pay for things including your dinner for the night. I would recommend setting up PayPal account in advance so when you need to pay for the service and load money into the card it will be easy.

I have yet to find someone who can sort me out with a bank card and transfer function. This would be the best solution as you can pay the girls by transferring money to them and and you can exchange the dollars by having someone transfer it to your loaned bank account. I will provide the update on this later.

If you find a contact they will usually buy either US Dollars or Euros. I suggest bringing the bulk for your spending budget in this way, I chose USD.

Health.

Considering the crisis here it is important to maintain a good health while you are here. Getting to a good hospital and treatment can be difficult. Depending on what you plan to do during your stay, if you want to stay in the hotels and fuck then you can avoid most of these vaccinations / medications.

Hep A / B. Everyone who pays for sex should have this vaccination as standard. Start from now if you are reading this!

Typhoid. It would be necessary if you are more adventurous as the water isn't great here.

Malaria / Dengue. More relevant if you are going to do more traveling outside the city maybe even up the mountains, even for excursions.

Yellow Fever. It is a requirement for all entrants to the country but this wasn't verified for me.

Travel insurance is difficult as the British Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel.

Key advice is to keep details your Embassy or consulate here in Venezuela, you never know if you may need them.

Other things.

I was advised to pick up a cheap smartphone that is unlocked and you are happy to lose in the event you get robbed. I say smartphone as sometimes you can use the translation app and WhatsApp.

Also an old wallet would be useful. Put some loose dollars / euros so the person sticking you up feels satisfied.

The plugs are US style so an adapter or two is handy.

I stocked all my toiletries including tissues but the country is not that fucked. It's expensive for the locals but really you can just about get by. Some supermarkets are fully stocked, others have empty shelves.

Apart from booze everything in the duty free is expensive. Plan ahead!

More updates soon.

Thanks LV Monger. Also thanks to Britisher, MaraCucho and the countless other strong contributors.

18+ hrs spent traveling door to door. The whole way through and the days leading up to this trip I was questioning my sanity. Was it really all going to be worth it?

Land at the airport and go through security no problem. "How long are you staying? Purpose of your visit? Which hotel?" Stamp and I'm off to collect my luggage. The next step was customs and I was sure they will try and tax me here for the booze, chocolates and other trinkets. On the immigration card it asks you declare any new goods and gifts. I decided it was best to declare anything that's new and sealed that I would not use for myself. This made customs very friendly and let me through without a word.

I made my way to the exit expecting all manners of dangers but it's just a normal arrivals hall in an airport. Families waiting to welcome loved ones home and some chauffeur services collecting business travelers. I was approached by a porter in uniform and I declined his assistance, some one is waiting for me I said. He spoke more in Spanish and I didn't understand so he asked speak English? Great! I explained I'm fine looking for my driver. He says I can help you if you cannot find him.

He made the call to the driver and we quickly met. Porter asks for tip and explained I have no cash (hardly going to pull out large wads of dollars and his help isn't worth a $20 bill) he left saying have good time.

The driver didn't speak English but he had the card and paperwork for me. Off we go in his small but functional car. Some people will order the armoured car service or bodyguards, but really all that does is bring attention that you have money and a POI.

Driving to Caracas and I am immensely astounded by the beauty of the country with its mountain ranges and Barrios all dotted around the mountain sides. Not long after we are in Caracas and driving up to Altamira. This is a nice residential district with apartment complexes. Very calm and more secure than other areas.

The hotel itself is very secure. It is gated and manned. Checking in and there is a great guy at the reception who turned out to be very helpful in understanding the situation in Venezuela more and we helped put perspective on the situation through our conversations. The room itself was the Junior Premium and it is quite nice. They provide a complimentary two beers, two soft drinks and two bottles of water. Fridge, kitchen, living room area and bedroom. Shower is of a high standard plenty of water and hot and cold is stable. AC available but I only needed to turn it on for short duration. The city is warm and humid (80-95% humidity! Lows of 17 degrees and highs of 27.

I took a tour of the hotel and they have a tennis court, swimming pool that no one seems to swim in but was an OK size and water is nice and good temp. Restaurant and breakfast available. The top floor they have a gym with basic equipment that just about works and a bar called 360. It looks good and has hammocks and good cocktails. Definitely a chilled out area with an amazing view of the mountain range. This is not exclusively for patrons of the hotel, you can visit as a guest from outside. This bar is only open from 5 to 12 midnight.

As I was tired I just had dinner and called it a night. I unfortunately blocked the card as I was confused about how to use it correctly. Turns out they have two pin numbers one for ATM and another for purchases. Later they told me you can only use the card at your own bank's ATM to withdraw cash, which is really pointless because you can only withdraw 10 K BsF max and that is nothing. They were kind enough to put it to the room and let me pay in the morning after the card owner unblocked it.

But you don't really care about all that! You care about the girls! I have been talking to the girls in Seeking Arrangements and Tinder for the last 3 weeks. I've managed to line up 8 girls for this trip. The tinder girls are for free, the seeking arrangements girls prefer gifts and you get the occasional desperate one who will ask you to send them money and give you nothing in return! Since it was night time none of the girls would consider coming. They generally do not feel it is safe.

Made arrangements for the next day and went to sleep.

I woke up and was greeted by the view of the Avila mountain range. It is absolutely stunning! Breakfast included so I went for a meal then I went to for a quick work out. First girl arrives at 2 pm. She is young and slim, very girl next door type. We had a coffee (Meet &Greet) then decided to go out and explore the local area.

A quick word on prices. I had dinner on the first night and it was coke and pasta, total price 1. 5 M BsF. More or less $10 on the exchange rate I got but a decent exchange rate will be a little over $7. Coffee for two was 550 k BsF. This is hotel restaurant so I cannot expect it to be cheap.

We went to a couple of the local shopping centers, telling me about how things work in Venezuela. We saw a queue outside a shop, she tells me this for the flour. She tells on some days she has to queue to purchase items at a reasonable price. I see a supermarket called Excelsior Gama and it seems very well stocked. We go in and ask if she fancies anything for herself and she declined anything. I bought her some cookies and picked up two small bottles of water and a yogurt pot. Total cost of 590 k BsF. The minimum salary in Venezuela is the equivalent of $7. This is almost $2.5 for nothing. I realize that everything is available in Venezuela, it's just not possible for the average Venezuelan to enjoy.

We walked around for 3 hours, telling me about things and which areas to avoid. In the end we had McDonald's as it's not something they eat. It was an obscene cost in comparison to local earnings, about $4.

The whole time we were outside I did not feel threatened or in danger. At times we took out my phone for translation between us. But she seems more worried about that than I am.

Back to the hotel, we had a little time together cuddling on the sofa and chatting but she was clearly very shy. I didn't force it and I walked her back to the metro station when it was time for her to go. No money given. It was more like a first date through SA (Seeking Arrangements).

Unfortunately this has left me a bit blue balled. I decided to contact the escort agencies.

I followed The Prince's advice and followed the girls and agencies in Twitter. So fired up Twitter, sexycaracas.com and sexcaribe.com and see who was available. Contacted three escort agencies as I wasn't looking to pay the independents prices.

Independents charge about 4 to 5 times more per hour. I am not sure if I am getting 4 or 5 times more value or better sex so decided against it.

Of the three agencies two of them sent pictures on who's available. In terms of details of the girls and services I had to go back to the websites to figure it out. Two girls stood out from different agencies.

I ask about cost and let them know which hotel I am in. They said 2.5 M BsF including taxi per hour. So I ask will you accept dollars? They said sure, $15 per hour. I was satisfied and requested for two hours. She arrived within the hour.

Hotel staff call me to say your girl is here. I tried to say I am coming down but they didn't understand and hang up LOL. I start to make my way down but the hotel staff member has brought her up! Great service haha! The staff member asks me something but I didn't understand so he says it's ok. Only then I realized he wanted a little something.

She's about 5 ft4 and very fit physically. Face was nice as well. Overall I'd rate her 7. 5 because she's had a baby see-section but there was some damage there. The plus side is her pussy was still tight!

I offer her chocolate and a drink. Sitting on the sofa we have a laugh and joke, my terrible Spanish and her non existent English. Soon we move to the bedroom and we get into the action. Lots of kissing, she's not shy and proactive. Natural be cups but looks decent. She gives a worthy oral performance and is happy to have me finger her. As we are ready we put on the condom and we get into it. She really enjoys herself and is into it. Then she gets on top and how she moves has really got me going!

A few position manoeuvres and soon I emptied my load. We relax and it's been over two hours so she gets ready to leave. I walk her out and I think I'll definitely have her over again.

However I feel like I got another round in me. I ask the next agency to send their girl with huge tits. They said the dollars rate is $10 per hour including taxi and it will be over an hour so I watch a bit of TV. Same again, the hotel staff bring the girl up for me. They are probably shocked about the fact I got two in one night! I slip the staff member a note for his good work!

This girl was young but she had nice big tits on a slim body. I'd put her at 5 ft4 as well and maybe a size 12. Overall I'd rate her a 7. Her behaviour was a bit erratic even though she gave great blowjob, tit job and was very horny. This time I didn't last as long. I wasn't comfortable with her being around too long, gave her a few minutes before round 2 and I had to have her in doggy. She had an ass that I wanted to enjoy and she was really trying hard to keep quiet as I was slamming into her! Soon after I pop I sent her on her way. She was happy to leave just over 30 minutes early.

I've been around a few girls that did coke in my time and she came across under the influence.

Total girls cost $55, $30 first girl and $20 for the second one. $5 for the hotel staff.

Did I over pay? No. Considering the exchange rate, the stability of the currency, lack of physical cash and the actual exchange I was getting at the time I was not benefiting too much from paying in BsF vs USD. If I was there today I will definitely be paying in local currency as the value of the bolivares is dropping quickly so your cash will take you further. But I would always give a little tip on top to get a little more positive service. And why not? They can do with the extra cash.

I've attached the self taken photo of the first girl and the website photos of the second girl.

Over the last two months the currency has stopped it's free fall and plateaued at 230 k BsF per dollar.
Man, bad timing on your visit because the rate for the dollar has been climbing like crazy for the past couple of weeks, right now is almost 3 times what you got during your stay. Still, cool to hear that you had a good time.

My guess it will be 1 M BsF to $1 before end of June. Cannot make for a good election season.

Just to break the posts up a bit with some more info.

I guess it goes without saying, Spanish is very essential to all those wishing to travel here. Take classes and you may just be able to get by. It is the Latin American type to learn that would be best but you can still get by with the European Spanish. You will just sound foreign and struggle with a few words or phrases here.

Escort agencies in South America are known for using fake pictures and sending a girl that looks nothing like the one you asked for. Luckily in Venezuela the escort agencies I contacted sent me unblurred & unedited photos of the girls. So I was happy to select knowing what I was going to get. In fact the girls usually looked much better than the photos!

And in case you haven't figured it out, it's not World War 3 out there as the news will have you believe. The news is designed to sell you papers, subscription and needs your viewership. Journalistic integrity is non existent! On my third day I was sat in a fully stocked bar, girls were walking around around with shorts so short you can see their ass cheeks, enjoying a cup of tea. Breakfast may be missing an item or two, cash is difficult to obtain and people here generally give an aura of depression. Their lives changed dramatically in the last decade so their feelings are justified. Apart from that, man they are living! Trying to make do. Everyone here is nice and willing to help you. But don't be fooled! Like any other country in the world there are risks. Just be street smart, watch videos on how Venezuelans dress and don't flash any cash or watch and jewelry. Do not be lulled into a false sense of security and don't go where you have no business being.

A bit about hotels. I stayed in Altamira Suites which was pre-booked online prior to arrival which is advised here. The hotel was recommended as girl friendly and was the case. As the currency is currently stable I was not going to get any benefit from paying in cash on arrival. So I booked my next hotel just prior to traveling to Caracas, day before! I used Trivago as it offered the best rates.

Before the local currency was dropping in value so when the hotels set the price at $20 per night by the end of the week it was $2-$5. Now the currency is stable we get no such benefits.

I woke up and feeling lazy so took my time getting ready. I get a call from reception reminding me check out is at 12 and I ask for a late check out. No problems for them as they don't have a queue of guests.

As I get ready to leave I ask them to call a taxi for me while I have a cup of tea. The hotel staff member who was very helpful before joined me and we discussed many topics and put perspective on a lot of things. I don't think anyone can really appreciate the situation here until you see it for yourself. I was introduced to the hotel owner who was a straight forward guy and I ensured I would be recommending his establishment. I don't think he would have thought it would be here on ISG!

Jump in the taxi and we stop for a quick bite at a Venezuelan restaurant (El Budare de la Castellana) with a sign saying open 24 hours so might be a spot for late night meals. We then head off to Eurobuilding Hotel & Suites. Nice big building but a bit isolated IMHO. I was booked into the Business Class Suites which was nice. I might eye up the First Class Suites for next time. The bellboy (man) takes my luggage up and is very helpful and makes sure I am settled in and showing me how to use everything in the room. He says you need anything just ask.

I say what about cash? He says too much here. $1 gives you 80 k BsF but on transfer to a bank card you get 200 k BsF. I said I have a card for now, I need cash. So he says it's hard but he can make a few calls. I ask him to organise $100 equivalent. No worries he says. An hour later he's back with the money 8 M BsF! Wow. I give him a nice cut of 500 k BsF for helping me out and he cannot believe it. It's equivalent to a monthly food budget for some if not many here.

I don't feel like doing much today. Stayed in and was relaxing in the plush room that works but some things are out of order like light bulbs missing from lamps, in the situation the country is in I would not be surprised they are rationing light bulbs!

I realized I gave the first girl from last night the wrong number to WhatsApp me so I decided rather than chasing someone else I can just call her over. Got in touch with the agency and had her come over. At a premium of $20 per hour! They charge more for being at the Eurobuilding.

She comes over and smiles as soon as she sees me! Why are you here? Confused why I changed locations. One of the rules of the Game, love! LOL she likes the hotel and room but says higher floors have better views.

We order room service and have a little bite. She takes my right number and we move on to the main event. A good two rounds, more of the same and very relaxed. We weren't in a rush and enjoyed it. Time is up and she needs to go so I call it a night. She leaves with $40.

Hotel staff did not ask for money but from the corner of my eye I can see the doorman angling for a bribe, beware if you stay here. They are known to charge a guest fee for ladies. I don't know what it is as I have yet to encounter it.

That was me done for the night as I had plans to go out and do more stuff the next day.

I am 47 yo and I am looking to go to Venezuela. I should also mention that I am bilingual. I have a non-US passport from a country that maintains friendly relations with Venezuela. I have traveled all over Latin America and Africa and never had a problem. Not saying that it was "safe," but common sense and trusting one's gut goes a long way. Having said that, I am looking for an adventure. I am thinking of crossing in Cucuta. Much easier to exchange money and arrange other "service" before going into Venezuela.

Stay away from bad areas and bad neighborhoods, the same rule you would follow when you are in your home city and you will be fine. The problem is: There are no good neighborhoods in Caracas anymore. Violent crimes happen in all parts of the City. Yes, you are more likely to get robbed in Sabana Grande than in La Castellana, but that does not mean that you are safe there. So when you really want to stay away from the dangerous areas, don't go to Caracas.

Okay, here is my Report. Maybe it's not really a Report, but more of a rundown on the Situation in Caracas.

I am a European expat, living in Caracas since June 2017. I did not come here because I like it here, or because "Caracas is such a nice City, with really friendly people". I am here because my boss pays me a shitload of money, a nice apartment, two cars and a flight out of the country every three month. And still it does not really compensate for a lot of things.

Big thing is security. There are no safe places, there are places where it's more likely to get robbed / mugged / beaten / tricked or killed than others. Even the "safe" Hotels are not really safe, it's just a very unlikely place to become a vicdim of crime. But still, people got robbed in the Elevators of the Melia Hotel or in the Garage of the Renaissance.

The basic rules are: Never walk, keep a low profile, show less than others. But still, the bad guys will bring your down for an 80€-Smartphone from China. Because 80 Euro are 3 years of minimum salary.

It has been mentioned, Spanish is absolutely necessary. No way around this. There are no girls that know basic English. Those who do have already left the country.

To get cash is almost impossible. The Venezuelans stand in line to get 10.000 or 20.000 Bolivar a day. But two coffee and two pieces of cake are already one million Bolivar.

So everybody pays with Debit Card, but you need to have a residency status in your passport to open a bank account. And having a bank account does not mean that you get a card. Because some Banks don't have any plastic. When I opened my accounts, it took my a good two weeks to get everything in order. And this was a VIP Treatment I accelerated with some Dollar.

But you cannot pay everything with card, often the card readers don't work. Or it takes ages to pay by card. I use cash to pay for parking, tips, or to get around faster. If I need things really fast, I use Dollars.

The girls: I don't want any girls in my Apartment, it will be on the Logs of the guards. So I meet them in Hotels that allow short stay, they are all over the City. There are some that are really good, but most of them are cheap, not safe and dirty. And even the good ones are not really expensive. But the Price adds up to the cost of the girl. I prefer the freelancers from Twitter or Sexycaracas. I had some bad experiences with Agency girls, the pictures are photoshopped and you have to negotiate every extra with the girl. Yes they are cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

One word to the Estudios: Don't go there. They are hard to find, most of them are in unsafe areas, and the atmosphere is not very good. They are for the cheapos.

That's it, there will be more to follow.

I just cam back from an average date with an average girl for an average Price.

L. Her Name is Shannel, or Shanell, she doesn't know herself. I got her contact from another girl I meet from time to time. She says, she is 21, I would say more like 25. She Looks like the average Woman of her age: I bit on the chubby side, but a nice face. Her Tits are not yet modified.

She charges 2 Million Bolivar per hour, withe the rate of the Day this is 3,13 US, Hotel was 1,4 Million (2,20 US). Yes the Hotel was expensive, but I don't go to the cheap Hotels. I want it safe and clean. Then I bought her two Coca-Cola and some Chocolate, another 800.000 Bolivar. So altogether it was 4,2 Million, or 6,60 US.

I got DFK, Oral and Sex, it was okay, but not great. I might have her again, but I had better girls.

And of course it was the usual annoyance with all girls, no matter if Freelance, or from an Agency: They are never on time. She was 30 Minutes late, which is again, average.

Agreed on all points, Caracas is manageable with enough street smarts and common sense, but you have to be aware that even the good parts of the city are not 100% safe. Like Tequeño (I suppose you don't have a keyboard with the letter "ñ", hehehe) mentioned, even the cheapest smartphone is equivalent to a couple of years' worth of our monthly minumum wage, so even normal people will be tempted to take it from yours if they have the chance. It is not like you are going to get assaulted the moment you put a foot there (I mean, I have walked through Sabana Grande at night no problem), but you HAVE to be careful at all times.

This concept of "I'm only here because my boss pays me money" stuff really grinds my gears.

If you are someone who has seen the videos of Caracas on YouTube (Hi-Def drone videos) you will automatically know it will be 100 times better out there! It is a stunning place to be in. The weather, the history, the backdrop of the mountain range against ageing high rises! And if you haven't seen Caracas at night from Bello Monte it's a hell of a view! And anyone who has shit to say about the people lives a life completely different to them or does not trust them at all (read: paranoid). They are welcoming, nice and humble. I was begged incessantly and attempts made at pickpocket and scams in other parts of the world and never once did that happen to me in Caracas. And when I was begged it was only ever for food. They have a certain sense of dignity there.

With regards to security, I will continue my reports soon. But here's a sneak preview, I was out during the day for several hours. I had all four jeans pockets bulging. Cash in one, dollars in the other, phone in the third and wallet and identification in the last. This was repeated again at night for several hours until I was too tired and returned to the hotel. Would I recommend you to do this? Probably not. But I grew up in a rough neighborhood and I know that from the way I walk and carry myself I'm less likely to get approached. I also kept out of areas that are considered no-go and where I had no business being there. When my acquaintance was with me he / she would always advise me to not speak if shady and unsavoury characters appeared near us. This is good advice, they will hear your accent and know straight away you could be a target.

But you know what? These are the same precautions I would take in USA, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey, Kenya, India, Thailand and Australia. And I would know.

Can you ever ensure 100% risk free and safety in life? Probably not. Is there a higher risk in Caracas than in your hometown? Probably. But no where in the world is completely safe. Even a madman managed to get into the White House with a gun and a terrorist managed to enter the Houses of Parliament wielding a knife and they are supposed to be ultra secure.

I have spoken with lots of Venezuelans who feel that it is a very dangerous place. Yes it is I agree. Lots of crimes unsolved, dodgy police you should not trust and you have to ensure your own security. But when I told them stories of what it's like back in the UK they have all had to pick up their jaws from the floor. It's not the haven or paradise they imagined it. Most of them have never left their country, all they know is how a country that was so safe, did not need much police officers and where people only locked their doors at night became this nightmare they live in. They don't realise that this is actually happening everywhere in the world.

Everything else yes I do agree with you. However there is one girl who spoke fairly good English but she is traveling for a few months in Europe now. I have no experience of estudios. On my next trip I will give them a go and feedback.

It's good Friday and it is a massive holiday for a very religious Roman Catholic population. It is very interesting! I call the same taxi driver who helped me move hotels. He takes me to an area on the other side of town called Catia. This is considered the "Brixton" in its days of Caracas (Google it). This is where the girl I met from SA lives. She agrees to show me the traditional and religious aspects of this day for the Venezuelans. On the way there on the motorway I see large slums housing against the mountains. He tells me these Barrios are called Pakistan LOL after I am done laughing I ask him why and he says it is violent and dangerous there, almost lawless. I said in London we call it Thornton Heath Croydon CR7.

So we go to church and we see the crucifixion of Christ performed by the young teens. While we are watching her friend comes over to say Hello, and dios mios she is super hot! And she's not really dressed for church!! I pick up my jaw as I am introduced and I'm trying to figure out if I can even get her details somehow! Anyway as it is finished we make our way out and her mum is around! She apologises and says she doesn't want to get caught and we make arrangements for another time. My taxi driver arrives after 15 minutes and I ask him to go to either San Ignacio Mall or Sambil Mall. We pass Ignacio and not much is happening. They take Good Friday seriously here many stores are closed.

So we go to Sambil. It's the best mall from what I hear. We spend ages trying to park the car as he has agreed to accompany me, yes that busy. We go to pick up a sim card and it's a whole headache in itself. You go to one shop to buy a sim card and then another to top up! The first shop was iffy about my bank card. The next shop the card declined so I paid in cash, which shocked them and had to find someone willing to take the cash and pay from their card LOL! Plenty takers for that here. Cash is gold to them. Total cost for a SIM card with data is 400 k BsF more or less. On current exchange rate $2. We walked around the mall. It is big and they have Levi's, Pull & Bear and even Mont Blanc! What a disaster this country is in! They have Mont Blanc that charges in $$$ this is when I opened my eyes to the truth of this country.

Me and Angelo (taxi driver) grabbed burgers and tequeos (very good food BTW!) and there was a young man begging for food. We offer him a portion of our meal. I told Angelo about the story of the homeless man who died outside Westminster and also the gent who died in Birmingham. He says it is also tough here on the poor and I will see. After we leave we are headed to the hotel and we see the procession of the body of Christ on the streets. This is a big event and is on TV. We watched for a bit and then left. On the way back to the hotel I was shocked to see people and children eating from trash on the floor. It made me a little sick but I've seen it before elsewhere in other countries.

Anyway, back to the main topic at hand which is sex! As I get back in I'm getting into the room I'm getting messages from the girl from last night. She's making small talk with me. I'm already hunting for a girl for tonight and messaged a few agencies. She then starts angling to come over for me. I thought, you know what I'll bite. I know I'm getting a bit hooked on her but sexually we are starting vibe. She says $40 for two hours. I'm like whatever love you're the one who wanted to come really.

She's literally here in a flash. We grab a drink and head to the room. We are talking, laughing, the usual. She is really cute and in really great shape. Made me think I need to hit the gym more often! Refill drink and she's all over me. She is more affectionate, kissing more and I realized she's starting to get into me. We move to bed and lots of DFK, she's wearing nice and sexy underwear now. She's putting a bit extra for me!

She starts by riding me and it's a great feel. She's more wet and more into it now than before. We changed several positions and even was willing to let me slip a finger into her asshole in doggy position. She says she doesn't do anal and its clear as she's super tight there but she was enjoying the finger and anal play.

We overran by an hour as she didn't want to leave. Close to midnight she says she must go as it's late. I offer her to stay over and she declined as her daughter is coming tomorrow morning. No worries I hand her $40 and walk her down. She doesn't ask for more so that's a good sign. She also says how long till I leave? I tell her and she says that's great we still have time.

Tomorrow morning I have the girl from SA coming and she is getting fucked for sure. Then we will go swimming in the hotel. After I feel like fucking a super slim and short girl. $25 per hour. Let's see how that goes.

The entirety of NYC had 290 homicides during 2017. Meanwhile, Caracas has already seen over 300 homicides in the first three months of 2018, within a population that's only 40% of the size of NYC. I have never been to New York, but I can make an adequate guess that I would probably feel a lot safer in Manhattan than in Caracas.

I am not saying people shouldn't come to visit, my position in all my past posts in the thread should make that evident. Venezuela has plenty of pros among the cons. But this is not a Caracas thing, It's not very different in Riad, Cairo, Jakarta or Mumbai.

And what use do I get out of drone videos?. Even Tschernobyl looks quiet and peaceful from this perspective. And of course the Avila looks nice, but this look does not bring any milk into the stores. But I will not discuss security here any further, my security measurements have been made and I will not question them because somebody from Europe has survived Sabana Grande at night with a pocket full of cash. In every visit to Maracaibo and Caracas I have made I have stayed out of dangerous areas, used common sense, didn't attract unwanted attention and have had no problems. In fact people have gone out of their way to be helpful.

People are making a mass exodus mostly because of money along with many other factors.

It grinds your gears? I guess you have to live with it. Because it's the reality how cost expats from the companies and embassies that are left think about life here.

There have been people who didn't, because they had a 30-Dollar-Watch.Some people travel for money, others for pleasure. You can advise people on the former and I will advise on the latter.

You don't need to see the drone videos, you are already there! As for milk, definitely no shortage there for anyone with dollars in their wallet. A trip to Las Mercedes 4 D the will offer you the best gelatos in town!

Chernobyl, really? Tell me how many stunners there are and I'll do my "security measurements" before I book a flight LOL.

I will advise everyone to be vigilant and safe as always. Wherever you are. I've climbed some pretty steep cliffs but I would never jump off a plane. Know what you are comfortable with and do that. For some it is the packaged sex tourism in Thailand. For others it is places off the beaten track. Tequeno is right, people have been robbed for less. Never resist, cooperate and you may be OK.

MaraCucho you have said it well. Mfins, you know as well as I do almost everyone has a story to tell about the crime there. Safety is a priority but if you have gone through life without being a victim of any crime then Venezuela should be crossed off your books.

Everything in perspective. Also I never walked through Sabana Grande at night, seems you have mixed two different members' posts without paying proper credence to the message within. Nonetheless, I look forward to hearing your tales.

My security measures have to work every day, not just once.

Yes, I might be able to buy some milk with dollars, but there are a lot of people who can't. Some postings below you praise "the humble and nice Venezuelan" and now it's more like "if they can't afford milk, let them drink yogurt". And just for your information: The 4 D in La Castellana closed down because of the lack of supplies. The 4 D in CC Tolon Fashion Mail only opens on the weekend, again lack of supplies.

I don't understand, were we saying there is milk for a traveller with dollars or we should not have milk because the Venezuelans cannot afford it? Then we should not be discussing chicas as they are also out of reach for the humble Venezolanos.

The point I made earlier, thank you for agreeing with me, is that it is not all doom and gloom. That there is plenty of food, drink, women and things to do. And not every person there is going to rob you. But please, remember to act and behave like they will of course.

Hi!

I'm planning on a short trip to Caracas at the end of June or early July. I will likely arrive from Colombia by plane. I appreciate all the good info on here, but would like to try to get some consolidated answers to fill in the gaps and maybe help others.

1. What are the best 3 hotels to stay in? Take into consideration safety, assistance, proximity to restaurants, malls, nightlife, chica spots, and other points of interest.

2. AirBnBs are pretty much a no-go, right? If not, what are the better areas to stay in?

3. Does anyone have contact info on a trusted taxi driver or guide in Caracas? What rate would I expect to pay him?

4. What public places would be good to pick up non-pro girls? I'm thinking of malls, parks, restaurants, etc. Looking for specific names of places here.

5. How can I get the Dolartoday exchange rate on my US dollars? Is there any use in changing my dollars to Euros first? I would like to not just get the market exchange rate for the Bolivars. What is legal and illegal with respect to changing money?

6. Does anyone have a contact / connection for lending their bank / debit card for me to make local transactions (for a price of course)? Private message please.

7. How does using PayPal factor into the whole financial transaction craziness?

La Castellana is the area in Caracas that concentrates all the better hotels in the city (for example, there is a Marriot in there), and nearby there are plenty of places of interest.

2. AirBnBs are pretty much a no-go, right? If not, what are the better areas to stay in?I don't see why not, as long as the place has good reviews and is located in one of the good areas of the city, namely: La Castellana, Las Mercedes, Altamira, Prados del Este, Bello Monte, Cumbres de Curumo, La Trinidad, El Cafetal, Palos Grandes, El Rosal, Caurimare, Cerro Verde, El Marques, etc.

5. How can I get the Dolartoday exchange rate on my US dollars? Is there any use in changing my dollars to Euros first? I would like to not just get the market exchange rate for the Bolivars. What is legal and illegal with respect to changing money?
Exchanging foreign currency anywhere that isn't the goverment-approved institutions (at the government-approved rate, of course) is illegal, always bear that in mind. If you get scammed, there is nothing you can do about it because you are partaking in an illegal activity. Also, as you are probably aware of if you have been reading the past reports, exchanging your $$$ gets complicated by the fact that nobody has physical bolivares in bank notes, and everything is done using bank transfers. Unless you can arrange a way to use a debit card (either by paying somebody to let use it, or paying to get your own bank account), things will be difficult in your stay.

Thing with DolarToday is that it stopped being the #1 source for that info, there is a lot of variation right now in what people offer to buy dollars. For example, right now I have a guy who buys my paypal dollars at a rate slightly above of the DT rate, which is notorious because not too long ago people always paid quite less than the DT rate through Paypal. Also, I am not seeing much gain in bringing Euros over Dollars, as most deal with either currency but the dollar is more favored. If you are coming from Colombia, the Peso is also well accepted in Venezuela, and you may find pretty good rates buying Bolivares in Cucuta.

4. What public places would be good to pick up non-pro girls? I'm thinking of malls, parks, restaurants, etc. Looking for specific names of places here.Hotel Altamira Village.

Hotel Altamira Suites.

Renaissance La Castellana.

JW Marriott.

Hotel Eurobuilding.

Not necessarily in this order. Although the Eurobuilding is less to be recommended than the others. I don't know a lot about the chica rules of the Hotels if you bring every two hours another girl. But the Girls from most Agencies have no trouble coming to your room there. And the location is not really important, you need a driver anyway.

I would not stay in an AirBnB in VEN. But its the question where you draw your personal line of security.

If you know where you want to go, I would use the taxi drivers of the hotel. You probably get somebody driving you around for less than 5 $ a day. If you want him to speak and understand English, it will be 10 $ or more.

To pick up local girls: Tinder. Fast and easy.

Forget the DolarToday, it is not even useful as rough guideline. There are Groups on Facebook where you can buy and sell things. There are always people who want to buy Dollar by transfer, the rate is always way above DT. Or ask around, in the last week I have never heard anything below 110% of DolarToday. Up to 125% is possible.

One word to the cash problem: There will be a currency cut on June 2nd. The Bolivar Fuerte (BsF) will be replaced placed by the Bolivar Soberano (BS). And nobody knows how the cash situation will be after this date. Maybe there is plenty of cash available (I doubt it). At the moment there is cash available, but you have to buy it with a 100% premium.

I would no use PayPal, at least I would not rely on it. Because there might be further sanctions against US-Companies or by the US. Cash Dolar to Bolivar Transfer is King. Furthermore I would be prepared to be able to make an online-transfers from your account to an account in the US or to a Bank in the European Union. If you do this to the right account of the right people, the money will appear on your Venezuelan account. You will get a good rate.

Have more questions? Ask?

What is legal and illegal with respect to changing money?Just to give you an example, today I exchanged Euro to Bolivar via Transfer. The published Rate by Dolartoday is 850.165,55; AirTM states 858.453,21. I got 950.000. If I looked further, I might have found somebody who pays 1 Million.

So the Dolartoday is more or less a rough guideline about the minimum you can expect.

But this is Venezuela, nobody knows how it's going to be tomorrow.

The taxi driver who has been taking me around is Angelo and he speaks no English. He is a licensed cab driver who can take payment by card. We communicate by translation app and my super embarrassing Spanish which is just words with a few connecting words that I know and adjectives. I don't have anyone to practice with in the UK and if I did it would have made it easier for me to pickup the language to a basic level. However he is polite enough to bear with me and so are the general population. More importantly he is safe and would not cheat you. If you need him to help you with something he can try. He's happy for me to share his number to you all so if anyone is planning on travelling let me know and I can share.

Bear in mind he doesn't have a smartphone so unless you speak Spanish get the hotel staff to call on your behalf!

Back to the trip report.

It is an early start and I head for breakfast. Guess what? A full selection of all sorts of food. The tea is great and they have Venezuelan, Continental and American style breakfast. What else do you need? Oh full selection of juice and Arepas! If you don't know about this you need to know ASAP! Con Queso really hits the spot.

After breakfast I head to the room and I have organised for Angelo to pick up the SA girl and bring her over. A nice touch. She arrives and soon is in my room. And boy is she shy! I really felt like I was back in secondary school or college with a girl. It's the first time since she's lost her virginity. She's super timid but I soon get it out of her that she wants it. So I gently seduce her like I did the girls back in college and soon she's like putty in my hands. Clothes off she's got a perfect slim body. At first I thought this would not be a good shag but as soon as we made the first kiss I knew she would be great. There is real passion behind her kisses. So as soon as we are naked she guides my covered penis into her. She is so tight I'm happy to fuck someone so young and tight! 19 is just right and (UK) size 6 as well with some natural curves!

After a bit in missionary and with her legs up (which got her really going!) we switched it up with her on top. And wow she rode me like a trooper! Like her life depended on it! Like her orgasm depended it on it and not long after I felt that familiar wetness covering my balls. After we did a bit of prone bone and spoon where I finished. Her moans were amazing.

Total cost? Zero. Love a bit of SA.

After we headed to the swimming pool in the hotel (the excuse why she came) and this is outdoors. Very well kept and they have a jacuzzi. After a little swim and fun we go for the jacuzzi. Soon after we decided to hit downtown. I called up the gent from the previous hotel and we went to pick him up (Angelo, SA girl and I) and after we went downtown. It was really nice to see everything, Caracas' and ultimately Venezuela's history. What about the people? Plenty of people around. I was advised to put my phone away but I disobeyed my new found acquaintances and took plenty pictures. I was not bothered or felt threatened. I saw plenty of poor people just hanging about and it is obvious this is a result of the economic climate in Venezuela. I discussed the consequences of many of these situations between us and it is clear there are many factors to this problem and no real solutions. Everything is fucked either way. After we go back to meet our driver Angelo at our agreed time and place but he's not there. His phone is also switched off. We don't really bother, I say I owe him payment for the day LOL he better find me somehow. We stop at a coffee shop that's quite nice for the area called Paramo Cafe. We end up having a Frappuccino and carrot cake. The total bill would make the average Venezuelan cry (take note, this tells you about the state of the country!) Soon after Angelo calls me as he is here and we hop in and head to an Italian restaurant on the recommendation of the guy from Altamira. We go and have Pizzas and some sides. Food quality is great. He says Italians visiting Caracas say this is the best in the Altamira area. It is called Mamma Nostra. We talk about all sorts and how everything is in Venezuela. It's really interesting to hear the stories of these individuals. A lot of the men had served in the army and they have many tales. After meal I insist I cover the bill for us. Total damage is $25 dollars.

Angelo drops each one of our guests off home. We continue on a night time tour of Caracas. Boy oh boy, they have been telling us lies! We started in Catia and went all around town past what is considered the less desirable side of town. People are out in the streets getting on with their business. We drive on the motorway that hugs the mountain. From here you get the most stunning view of Caracas at night! It's a shame I don't have a high end camera to take quality shots. It really is striking. Then we drive to the exclusive and fancy parts of town. These are considered the Beverly Hills of Caracas. The views of the city are stunning. Guess what? Plenty of teens out just hanging out with their girlfriends, walking their dogs or blasting music from their car. At 8.30 pm almost 2 hrs after sundown. The American Embassy is nearby and it's no surprise. I noted there was no security, checkpoints or police on the way to this area. We leave and head back via Las Mercedes a very popular district near the hotel. At 9 pm and there is a large crowd outside a hot dog stand. I ask Angelo and he says it's because the hot dog stand is Portuguese and very popular. I said we have the same problems, it's called Nandos LOL!

We head back and I ask him about the strip clubs I read about in ISG. He says Antonella cost more but is much better for me than El Canagua (those native Spanish speaking may have more luck there!) and he says Sunday night is not a bad idea. Next I ask him if the Estudias (Studios / Massage Parlours) are any good. He says yes and he has a few up his sleeve. That's it, he has solidified his position as the main contact for us in Caracas until further notice!

I say goodnight and he reminds me tomorrow he will take me to Avila and will be off all day after. Good man!

At the hotel I'm feeling horny so I decided to contact one of the agencies. I can still smell the pussy juices from the SA girl on the bed where she leaked when she came. They offer me a two girl option for $35 per hour and it is two of the nice girls! I say send them over. Less than an hour later they are here. We drink and laugh and they are nice and sexy. First one Luna has an amazing ass and great body and tits, about 5 ft8 or so. She knows how to move but facially wasn't too high, I would say about 6.5. Sexually I would not rate her high enough as she was outperformed by her peer. Patricia the Blonde was about 5 ft6/7 with also great "ass"et which got me questioning if it was really real and unfortunately she had two kids so some minor baby damage but not too noticeable. She also has a pierced tongue which came in handy.

After they had a shower and fooled around they then get to bed and start dancing and kissing. Not real lesbian action but girl on girl. I soon jump in between and they say only oral with condom, not going to argue here though! Patricia starts with great oral while I'm licking and sucking on Luna's tits and kissing her. Very light kisses with Luna. When the switch over happen Patricia had better kisses, more playful and happy to have me finger her. Luna gave an average BJ. So we start off with Luna riding and Patricia licking and playing with Luna. She also turned to kiss me. Soon we do the switch and Patricia is really into it! Proper putting in work! Luna is giving me light kisses. And happy to have my rub her from outside but no fingering. I decided to get Luna to lie in missionary and have Patricia sit on her and kiss me and rub me while I fuck her. This was great! After I get Patricia in missionary and we watch Luna play with herself. She reaches over and rubs her pussy every now and again but her focus is on me mostly. We switch to doggy for a bit then finish in spoon while watching Luna enjoy herself.

The only negative I would say would be at points Luna put on fake moans which wasn't necessary.

Total cost 40 $ inc tip. Not bad for a first threesome!

Arrival from Paris on 14.30 hrs go to apartment facing the 1st and hard issue how to get bank card. The house owner provided 1 but the rate is. 1/2 of dolarttoday but need the card to buy Some food.

Meet a Guy from the bar he change with rate 0.85/$ and 1. 1/€(million bsf) he provide al so the bank card and buy me a sim card free of charge. Next day I need him to guide me because I don't speak Spanish he speak basic English and he watch over my security.

So if you have € no need to convert to $. Bring € to CCs.

Close to the point the reason why I am here. Whatapp the agencies from sexycaracas. The price is from 6 to 15 mil per hours if you pay in dollart they rate is low 6 mil /$10 . So it is better to pay them with bsf by bank transfer so the Guy does all the transfer from and to the card, for all of above service I give him 20% of the Exchange for example. $100 get 85 million bsf. I have 70 mil on the card and he got 15 mil. He has a apartment on the Sabana grande.

About the chica I say come and explore it by you self every day you Will surprise about the quality and price.

For me is worth every penny.

It is the first time in ccs but never feel unsafe since I am here.

I enjoy 2 more days and Will go Wednesday back to Amsterdam this is just the beginning of my journey of CCs.

P.S. The independent chica price Is cheaper than agencies.

In Caracas you can find beautiful girls for $5 per hour or ugly girls for $100 per hour. Price is not guarantee of quality, best to explore and see what you find!

Interesting to see that finally the independent chicas are cheaper than agency girls. Is this on the websites or do you mean in bars or semi-pros?

Happy to hear you are feeling safe. People have not been too aggressive about the recent elections.

Enjoy your trip and I am not surprised you will be landing in Amsterdam. What better way to chill out after a beautiful journey.

It's unbelievable they would stop selling the beers and rum! It actually is standard procedure during election days, always happens. There is a also a prohibition to sell alcohol in sundays, so all the legal bars and clubs will be closed.

Woke up feeling a bit lazy and planned to meet with the girl from SA earlier. We intended to go to the Avila national park on top of the mountain by cable car. She asked if she can bring her mother and I had no problems with that. I kept thinking how will she spin this off with her mother?

Angelo picks me up and we get there only to find her with another girl. She looks decent but I'm trying not to be that much of a creep. Introductions out of the way and I found out its her friend. She has got a lovely rack on her and a great smile, eyes and is a brunette. I am hoping I make a good enough impression to have her join SA: the we queue up to purchase our tickets and they say to me your passport is not Venezuelan and I must pay using a foreign credit or debit card or in physical USD. OK how much? $20. I quickly did the maths and found out that it will pay for everyone queuing at the moment. Locals pay 50 k and $1 is 200 k so I payed the equivalent of 80 entrants. As I hand over the $20 the cashiers till has at least 5 other $20 bills LOL.

Up the cable car we go and it is well built and maintained, feels very safe and secure. It's a 20 minute ride to the top and it is not for those afraid of heights! The views of the city below and the mountain range is amazing.

I was told that the park is unsafe, can get robbed and is very dangerous for foreigners. Guess what? Another lie. Plenty of families, children, performances, music and street acts. Food stalls lined the path selling hot and cold foods. Yes I understand it is the a holiday season so everything is more amped up but really found it hard to see how it could be construed as dangerous unless if it was at night?

They also had an ice skating rink (don't go it's not really a good rink but I enjoyed showing off to the locals my skating skills) and ate from some of the stalls. The Venezuelan people seem very open with each other and friendly. It is a shame the current circumstances have dampened their trust of each other.

Stayed for a few hours then headed back. We stopped in Las Mercedes for dessert and then parted ways as I head back to hotel. I saw they had a couple of places offering shisha which they call Narguile here. One in San Ignacio Mall and the other in Altamira Village.

Back at the hotel I message the regular that's come over for two days. I tried to angle if she is willing to come over for a longer time at a reasonable rate. She wasn't having it and asked for a high rate so I knocked that idea on its head. I reached out to a nice slim and busty escort called Jesika who arrived in 30 minutes. Wow wow wow!

She's about 5 ft or so tall (short), very busty (enhanced but well done) and slim. Brunette with a decent ass. Facially isn't the best but not bad either. Strangely the more we spoke the more I thought she reminds me of a girl I used to work with so not bad to fuck a girl who looks similar to her.

We head up to the room and again no issues at all today. The hotel staff have completely turned a blind eye to my antics. She soon is getting undressed but only does light kisses. She has had a daughter and is 30 but they all seem to do see-section as their pussy is still super tight! I played with her tits for a good few minutes before she gave oral with condom, that has to be the biggest let down they rarely engage in any sexual act unprotected. I don't blame them, they can't just get free antibiotics. BJ was decent lots of movement but still not as great as some of the other girls.

Main event and we fucked for a long time. We hit it in different positions and she was more than willing to please. I preferred her on top so as to see this tight slim Latina that moves her body in such a way that only they do! The rhythms and even in doggy and prone bone made me slow down a bit in case I popped too soon. As much as it is their job they do love sex here!

I decided to finish in prone bone as I was conscious we over ran our time. After her post shag shower I noted she's been with me for 1 hour and 45 minutes. We initially booked for $40 for an hour booking. I topped her up with $10 and she was happy. We shared a last drink and chatted before her taxi arrived. She also gave me her number so we can talk and next time I'm in Venezuela I can make a deal with her direct.

Agencies are great as they have a good selection of girls but the girls are usually happy to go direct for the same rate. Through the agency they have to pay 50% rates or even more. Direct they cut out the middle man and benefit. They would usually stay for longer and provide better services but that has been my experience, can be worse with some girls if they are out to scam.

All in all not a bad night, Total cost $50.

It actually is standard procedure during election days, always happens. There is a also a prohibition to sell alcohol in sundays, so all the legal bars and clubs will be closed. This is probably the case in all Latin American countries. Probably stems from the fact that candidates for office would bribe potential voters with alcohol.

I was told that the park is unsafe, can get robbed and is very dangerous for foreigners.I think it is possible that the person who told you that, did not explain things well. There have been problems with robbers in the climbing paths going up to the Avila, but like you said, the summit where the food stalls are is safe. And man, too bad nobody recommended you to take a truck to Galipan, it's a (rather bumpy, hah) 5-10 minute ride to the town and the food there is great. Plus. The sweet berry wine and the "ponche crema" they sell is delicious.

Hi again! To those in the know, is Western Union a reliable source for changing or receiving US dollars?

Also, what type of budget would be suggested for: 6 days, two short time girls per day, one overnighter per day (girls would be 8-10's in looks), two meals per day (late breakfast and early dinner). Dinner for two, about 3 hours of taxiing per day / night (is Uber an option?

I was thinking $500 USD would be good, but maybe that depends on whether I get black market exchange / bank transfer transactions or official exchange rates.

Please PM me with any good contacts (drivers, chicas, money changers, guides, etc.).

I have my flight and hotel, fingers still crossed for the visa which I should hear about next week.

Does anyone have suggestions on places to hang out in Caracas which may have more than their fair share of eye candy (specific malls, parks, coffee shops, etc)? Bonus if the eye candy is, shall we say, morally flexible!

Similar question for night spots. Latinas love to dance! Where are the spots to go at night to catch them sweaty and liquored up?

How much should I pay someone to use their local debit card? I've got three chicas I banged who said their mothers would do it.

Also, is the best practice to deposit funds onto it each day (if so, how) or put it all on upfront? Should I exchange dollars at the black market rate first and deposit the pesos? Seems like that would give me the most bang for my buck.

These girls go back and forth between Caracas and Bogota to work in the clubs there and bring money back home. I'm guessing they have a good handle on how to best do the exchanges. I've banged them over the course of two years (sometimes without having to pay) so I trust them a bit. Still want to be cautious though!

Will my US cell phone (Verizon Wireless) work in Venezuela. Assuming I have international service activated?

MaraCucho
06-07-18, 23:18
Rodeo9112, your phone should work fine if your plan allows for international calls. We are not THAT backwards, hahaha. But I would strongly recommend getting a prepaid phone line from one of our local carriers (Digitel, Movistar, and Movilnet), you will save quite a buck since they are so cheap.

And absolutely go for a debit card if one of your girls can provide it, otherwise your trip may get more difficult than it should. I would also ask them if they know somebody trustworthy that can exchange dollars and deposit in bolivares (BTW that's our national currency, not the peso! Since they travel often odds are they do know.

No one should have to pay rent on using someone's debit card. If you are generous, leave them a little something in the account.

Unless they are giving you the best exchange rate you can ask for then they are taking a cut already. I would personally leave behind $10-$20 equivalent as a thank you regardless of their cut.

I would rather pay a rent for the card, and have the money transferred from my own contacts. On this way you can make sure o get the best rate. And with companies like AirTM ist no problem. Or just change cash Dollars to Bolivar by transfer. So its a fair deal, the owner of the account knows what he gets and you know that nobody else is skimming off on the transfers.

At this time I would try to change Small amounts, as often as possible. Because the rate drops so fast, you are losing money when you change for two weeks in advance.

Very good advice. I have heard rumours that AirTM cannot be accessed in Venezuela and you need a VPN or something, is that true?As of today, it is accessible in Venezuela. At least via Cantv and Intercable. I have not tried it with the mobile connections from Digital and Movistar.

But as usual: This is today, and it might be completely different tomorrow.

For example: It was impossible to use the DolarToday-App on a Digitel-SIM for months. Now it works.

Very good advice. I have heard rumours that AirTM cannot be accessed in Venezuela and you need a VPN or something, is that true?Yeah, AirTM is blocked, but you don't really need anything fancy to avoid the block, something as basic as the free hotspot shield extension for chrome works. Sometimes the block even disappears spontaneously.

On the other hand, while AirtTM is safe and the rate they publish sounds great in theory, they charge fees on top of it. If you can't find somebody trustworthy who exchanges directly (and offers a better rate), it's a good plan be.

MisterAli
06-12-18, 01:30
That's exactly my experience with AirTM. They take a cut when you load up money on to their platform and again when paying into a Venezuelan account. Also if you do not own the Venezuelan account or you end up using different accounts it's not an option due to money laundering regulations. It can work as a plan be or if you have a trusted individual who will always be able to lend you their card. Again, it's an option to be explored and it depends on the individual.

I woke up and I really started to feel like my cock needs a break. I've just been fucking every night and I am not used to it.

Head over to catch the breakfast and I settle for an omelette and pancakes. I message the SA girl and ask if she wants to meet today. Meanwhile I have been making plans with another girl from SA who says she can come over today afternoon but I delayed until after girl 1 heads home.

The first SA girl replies and says happy to meet but not at the hotel. She doesn't want to have sex on our last meeting so I respected her decision. Asked her to come over anyway and we can go out into town. She takes a taxi down and after fooling around for a bit (she is a great kisser! Perfect lips) we head over to parts of town considered dangerous and unsafe (just like downtown district. Yeah right!) so we go to Plaza Venezuela and walk down a boulevard all the way to Sabana Grande. After we take the metro to Chacao. The tube service looks like NYC subways and is a regular service. Avoid peak hours because it can get packed. The cost of a single journey is 4 BsF. That's right, it's almost free even for the locals! In fact it's cheaper than taking a bus.

At Chacao we stop at a nearby food stand and grab some grub, hot dogs and burgers.

We walk up to San Ignacio mall and had a look around, not much happening here.

We ended up having a meal here before we got into some chat about each other. She's happy to see me if I'm in town again. We call Angelo and I arrange for him to give her a lift home after leaving me at the hotel.

I got a text from girl 2 from SA. She is a morena, a darker skinned girl. Think Rihanna type. We have been chatting on SA and was happy to meet. She says she had her birthday the day I was flying out and I asked how old she would be and she says I'll tell you in person. I wasn't fussed about that but left it till we met.

Back to current events, she has no phone so has more or less agreed to meet me in the hotel lobby at 7 because she's running late. I wait for her and after 7 I get a text from a random number saying she's outside the hotel and I have to pick her up. Walk out and sure enough there she is. The man guarding the gate says after a certain time they don't allow foot guests, only via car. He is happy to let her in and asks me to register her at reception. But before he lets us go he's angling for tea money LOL hand him a 20 k BsF note and he's happy.

The girl herself is about 5 ft4 to 5 ft5. She has got great body and facially very pretty. She has a very island girl vibe going on. We head up to the room and she is just relaxing and I can't help but think why is she here?? She just said let's just have fun.

I ask her how old she is and she says don't be bothered but I just turned 18! Alarm bells went off in my head. I said ok do you have any ID? She says it was stolen last month along with everything else. So I said look I have no issues with you staying but I need to know it's legal. She then gets on my phone and asks her cousin to WhatsApp a picture to me. Sure enough there is the copy of an ID of hers. 6 days ago she turned 18. Then came the problems of legal age of consent, any laws regarding prostitution and solicitation.

So I quickly Google it and it seems almost fine. Just had to make sure no money is exchanged. So we have a drink, order room service and I can't help but think what is this fresh 18 year old who looks like a cross between Rihanna and Michelle Rodriguez doing here?

She interrupts my thoughts and says why haven't you kissed me yet? So we get into it. And wow despite being shy and timid at first it seems she has warmed up to me. We soon get into the action and I'm admiring her body. She has the best anti gravitational natural rack I have seen! A sizeable DD. So good she doesn't even wear a bra!

We skipped oral and went straight into it. Full on GFE, DFK and she rode me with so much energy that only an 18 year old can. I had her at a few different positions but with her amazing rear I had to have her at reverse cowgirl.

Soon after I popped we cleaned up and watched TV until we fell asleep. Next morning we woke up with the intention to go for breakfast and then after head for the swimming pool. Yeah. That didn't happen!

Two questions.

1. Are women in Caracas accepting cash Bolívares for sex (talking person to person transactions, not agencies), or only transfers? As a follow up, would it be expected that they would try to ask for dollars; if so, would they expect an outlandish amount or the fair exchange rate maybe around $7 or so?

2. Secondly, if the food situation is so bad there, would it be so bad to trade sex for a bag of rice or flour or beans? Seems that might be worth more than a wad of Bolívares. For what it's worth, something seems morally wrong about using food to barter for sex, but it seems that may be of higher worth than the money in general.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?My thoughts:

When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys working for you. I am pretty sure, you will find somebody who fucks you for a bag of Rice. But I doubt that you want to fuck this person. And it will not necessarily be a woman. Yes, a bag of Rice is worth a wad of Bolivar. But this is because the Bolivar is worth nothing. Don't apply news stories to the whole country, it's not this bad.

If you get enough cash to pay the Woman in cash, she will happily accept it. But good luck in getting this much cash. It just took me two days and a lot of talking to get 21 Million BsF in cash. And I had a lot of contacts.

But it has been said often and it's still valid: You need to get a Debit or Credit Card from a Venezuelan bank account. You change your dollars to this account and pay by transfer or at the Punto de Venta. Everything else will cost you too much, or it simply will not work.

I know girls that prefer a transfer in Bolivar to their account instead of Dollar. Simply because they don't have to take the risk of being robbed or cheated when changing the money. Others want a mix of both, Dollars to save for later and Bolivar to pay for their Family.

, would they expect an outlandish amount or the fair exchange rate maybe around $7 or so? I had girls that asked for ridiculous amounts, like 50 US $ per hour. I laughed at them and told them off. But even the serious girls will ask for more dollars than the parallel rate. Probably around twice as much. Because changing the money takes time, and they will have to pay a cut to the money dealer.

Must I change dollars to Bolivares at the black market rate (find a money changer) and have that deposited into the debit card owner's account? It seems like this gives me the most bang for the buck. Or, should dollars be deposited into the card owner's account for merely the normal exchange rate? That doesn't seem right.

1. You give dollars in cash to someone in Venezuela and they put the money in a Venezuelan Bank account.

2. You transfer the money to an account in the US or Europe. And they transfer the Bolivar into your account.

If established, Number 2 is faster and runs smoother. Number 1 gives you the better rate.

Forget about exchanging amounts larger than 10 Dollar into cash Bolivar. You will get a crappy rate, because it is very hard to get so much cash.

The Sebin, the Venezuelan Intelligence Service has started to check on bank accounts, they are looking for unusual high amounts of Bolivar that are transferred into bank accounts. For example when a retired person who receives a pension of maybe 5 million Bsf get suddenly 260 Million because her son, who lives in Spain did send her 100 to be changed by the parallel rate, they issue a warrant for illegal currency trade. Nice thought: You are living abroad and find out that you 75 year old mother is in jail because you transferred her some money to buy food.

I think, this risk will affect at least the prices for "renting" a Debit card and a bank account. But time will tell.

Without interfering with the business of the real kingpins.

I really doubt that the Bolivar Soberano will change anything. Rumour says that the Soberano will be introduced in August without having the new notes available. Or just a few to show to the press.

It is even difficult to buy cash on the gray market. Only very few people are able to deliver amounts like 500 Soberanos for Dollars. No problem to get 120 Soberano per Dollar by transfer, but in cash, you better forget it.

I personally don't go on these offers, because rumour says that the SEBIN or other Police are making these high offers. I like to stick the contacts I know.

Today was last day of the week and last day of the month. A lot of the maids, drivers that work for foreigners or have negotiated their salary in cash Dollar get paid on the same day. So they are selling them on the same day, a lot of dollars on the market: The rate drops. So getting top rate is always a bit of a Gamble. But even if you only get 105 for the Dollar, you will not suffer.

Soberanos in cash is a hot topic at the moment, there is no real rate you can stick to. One Idiot today offered me 22 for 1 $ because "It's the price in Cucuta". I have some trustworthy old contacts, I bought 660 Soberanos from one of them today and paid 20 Dollars. A new guy sold me 840 BS for another 20 $. This makes an average of 37,5 for a Dollar. But you can see by the amounts that I am just using them for tips, parking and the bus-fare of my maid. For daily life, you need at least on bank account.

And the rate actually goes a bit lower if you factor in Paypal's fees, which no buyer will take. Last night I sold some Paypal dollars to a guy I known, and he gave me a rate of 85, so what you were offered isn't terrible.

But you can see by the amounts that I am just using them for tips, parking and the bus-fare of my maid. For daily life, you need at least on bank account. When I was there, I had cash, paypal and Ethereum. Ethereum was the easiest and usually I'd get the best rates. I used localEthereum.com. All the paypal transfers I tried to setup online were scams. Bolivars in cash usually went for twice the price but was pretty handy.

Yes, it is possible, at least it was in the last days. Now the rate has dropped a little. The latest offer I had today was 110 by transfer.

I sort of assumed that the bulk of the trading is related to importation of goods, and enchufados liquidating their bolivars selectively when they are not busy buying up things at heavily discounted prices with their near limitless supplies of bolivars. It always seemed to me it the price always goes up and very seldom dips, I had assumed it was just a market correction due to there not being enough bolivars circulating in the right circles, or the prices being really too high and demand getting stalled. Anyways at the moment, I am managing 95 for transferencia, with people I know and trust, and more like 85 if it is PayPal, so that seems pretty decent to me. I actually got a much better price than my previous trades for Soberanos the last few days. I traded $10 for 400, and then with another guy managed 500, and with someone else got 750 for $20, so that is probably a lot more than I need for the next little while, but the prices where quite a bit higher than I was used to, so felt to take advantage of that. I was actually wondering if there might be someway they were able to trade those dolares for bolivars en effectivo at the remesas rate, because the one guy who gave me 500 for my $10 is actually a money changer and I was super surprised that he offered me that much and am not sure how he will make a profit on that, unless he is just holding onto the dollars, and I am pretty sure he is not. So, that had me thinking about bolivars en effectivo at remesas rate.

Hi,

I like to drink various types of Venezuelan Rum and have tried a few, but there are also quite a few that I have not yet tasted, and do not want to buy a whole bottle. A few of the nicer restaurants have a decent selection, but I seem to remember that there is a bar somewhere I think in Altamira or la Castallena, that either specializes in different types of rums or whisky. I don't remember the name or location and wondering if anyone has any recommendations. Basically, I like to drink rum seco, and would like a nice environment, a good selection, and hopefully a fairly reasonable price.

Thanks,

S.

Hi there,

Fast question: what is the price for a good hotel in Caracas?

And I I'm little confused about the currency. I mean how many dollars or euro have to spent for a day with 1 or 2 girls meal, diner, drinks etc and the hotel?

I thougt this could be interesting to any forum members visiting Caracas these days: this week the Exposexo 2018 will be open in the Hotel Tamanaco Intercontinental, starting this Wednesday 26 and closing next Sunday. Basically is a convention of the many sex-related business and stores in Venezuela (for example, Sexycaracas.com usually has a stand), with shows and private rooms and so on. Can't guarantee if the con will be any good with the current crisis, but I did attend the first iteration of the Exposexo back in. 2012, I think? And it certainly was a fun time.

The best hotels which were like the best hotels in USA only really run down (hot water wouldn't be a constant pressure, etc) was around $40. The main Eurobuilding hotel was one of the best in Caracas and it was around $40 a night. The cost for food varied a lot in Caracas. If you eat at fancy places it's like $10-15 per person per meal, normal places are less than $5 I think. It was hard for me to find girls. A lot of the pros I meet had a lot of rules and were mechanical. The girls that were doing extra stuff weren't super good looking.

There was a guy on here that spoke excellent Spanish and was able to get pretty hot girls daily with a lot of socializing. He had photos and everything. I also just read another post about a sex convention that looks promising.

Problem is, right now the dollar exchange rate is nowhere near as favorable as it was just two months ago. Last year I was in Caracas for a month (practically the entirety of November there), and with about $150 I paid for absolutely everything. Nowadays, just paying the same cheap hotel for a full month would cost me over $200.

What you recommend about hotels MaraCucho? For about 2 or 3 weeks. In center is better? For a mid-tier hotel I always recommend the Chacao Cumberland. Another good one I know is the Shelter Suites, which is located just across the street from the Sambil Mall.

Myself, whenever I go to Caracas for business, I stay in the Hotel Harmony. The hotel is old, with facilities that are a bit rundown and certainly have seen better day, but it is cheap and centric and the area surrounding the hotel is pretty calm. The kind of place you leave early to spend the day doing your things in the city, and only return at the end of the day to go to bed. Not exactly what I recommend for a tourist looking for a leisure time, but I thought it worth the mention.

In those or hotels like this, you can call a girl? Is OK for those hotels or you have a problem.

About girls, you call in girls from agency's and freelancers from twitter or you go to "massages" , studios, etc. ? What is the "best" solution about girls, I mean in prices, the looking of girls, etc.

If you go to Caracas "as Visitor" where you stay, eat, and the most important than all, find girls!

I have find a lot of agency's and non-pros in twitter. I can't find some agencies with websites. And I can't find any local forum for escorting in Venezuela. For example http://www.foroprepagoscolombia.com/ in Colombia.

In my experience, most hotels (even the 5 star hotels) don't mind much, but they will at least ask for the name and ID number of the girl for their own safety.

The Sexycaracas.com forums used to be a treasure trove of good info, with several pics and reviews on a daily basis by regular customers. Can't really say if the forums are any good nowadays (and I honestly wouldn't hold my breath, the crisis most likely has affected many local mongers who posted there), but it is worth a try.

Twitter is indeed the easiest way to find girls, there are LOTS of agencies and independents publishing there. If you do stay in the Chacao Cumberland and are feeling adventurous, just a block away there is the Noche de Ronda Bar, in the basement level of Centro Comercial Chacaito. The place is old (pretty sure it's been there since the mid 80's), looks seedy as hell and the selection of girls is mixed at best, but is cheap and relatively safe since it's inside a shopping mall. Plus they open early, so you can get a feel of the place without going at night. Also, if you are feeling *especially* adventurous, two block away from the hotel there is one of the most (in) famous and oldschool brothels in Caracas: El Volta. As I have described in other posts, only the most corageous mongers would dare to enter that place, but it's incredibly cheap and you can occasionaly find a gem in there.

The place in basement of Chacaito. The Volta (double or triple story if I recall).

There was another "nightclub", aka with girl on premises, etc very close to the Cumberland. The name escapes me now however.

I have a question regarding current black market rates. Generally I have been using dolartoday as a guide, but also recall that there was a time awhile back where it failed to adjust for quite some time and wondering if that is happening again now. Prices are again rising steeply and even though I receive more than the Dolartoday rate I am still finding things very expensive. My last exchange I received 110 for when I paid by transfer and received in a local account. At the same time I also just exchanged $10 in cash for 1100 en effectivo. So, I am confused usually there is a greater difference by approximately 200%. On top of this an arepa mixto cost 180 and I just paid 350 for a sopa de pescado and 100 for a cerveza. When I ask the price of things in the market, a lot of things are more expensive than Canada or Colombia given the rate I am getting. Is this just an extreme example of a non-functioning market, are things getting ridiculously expensive? I see on some other sites, some quotes of around 160-170 for the dollar, is that a more reasonable price? Am I getting a good price for effectivo and a poor price for transfer? Can anybody explain a bit?

Thanks,

S.

The place in basement of Chacaito. The Volta (double or triple story if I recall).

There was another "nightclub", aka with girl on premises, etc very close to the Cumberland. The name escapes me now however. It is all pretty much the same. Some of the Studios have closed, and in my opinion most of the agencies seem to be a bit more expensive. Twitter is definitely good. The place in the basement in Chacaito is still open. I don't consider it seedy at all. Just doesn't have great talent. Usually about three girls. Club Bacanao around the corner on Ave Casanova is more seedy, and also never really found any great girls there. There is also all 4-5 seedy brothels near Nuevo Circo in el Centro. Personally I think the first floor of the Volta is actually quite decent. It is about the most authentic old school brothel with a better ambience than most. It has running water and clean sheets, and a few friendly girls. The first time you visit you might finding it shocking as the building looks like a crack house from 1980's LES in NY. But once you acclimatize you can see that the management is honest, it is actually reasonably clean and on a good day you can actually have a decent time there. I spend a lot of time there, I know about 4-5 girls who I consider solid 8's who give good service and who I trust enough to have visit me at home. The top floor is seedier, but even there there are a few decent ones. Payment there is purely in efectivo. Current rates I think are around 150-200 for about 20-25 minutes. Some of the poorer providers will give a mechanical 15 minutes for this price, but if you chat first you can usually weed them out, and avoid the hassle. A tip of 100 is appreciated, and for my favourites who give consistent good service I sometimes give $5 in cash or buy a soup or some ice-cream from the shops nearby. If you don't have efectivo you can also barter where you talk to the girl and see what she needs then go to the supermarket across the street an buy those things. Mostly these days it is in efectivo though. Also another possible hotel recommendation is the Hotel de Las Americas, about a 2-3 minute walk away also on Ave Casanova. I stayed there on my last trip and for some reason was getting the corporate rate which at the time was about $3-5 nightly. I had a small JR suite in the tower on the right hand side. It was nice, had a good TV, a bar fridge, a small couch and coffee table, big comfortable bed, and nice bathroom with big glass doors in the shower. It had running water 95% of the time I was there (which was for over a month). The internet was not great, but it was generally well run, safe and girl friendly. Not sure of current rates. I would say if you do visit, go for the first time mid-week and ask to see a bunch of rooms. A lot of the other Jr. Suites in the same tower where much shabbier looking with old TV, and formica counters. The other tower has bigger suites but I didn't like the layout at all. Rooms near the back and higher up get more traffic noise.

Thanks,

S.Thing is, the economy in this country is going through a weird moment (yes, even weirder than usual). Two months ago Maduro pulled a set of economic policies that among other things, rose the monthly minimum wage at over 6000% (not a typo! Erased five "zeroes" from our currency, printed a ton of new bank notes, and set the official exchange at a MUCH higher price. The economy is still reeling from such idiocy, and the direct consequence is that the prices of everything have soared without control, while the black market for the dollar has remained static. As I mentioned before, right now the exchange rate is nowhere near as favorable as it was barely two months ago. Fortunately, it seems that the dollar price is starting to rise once again, we'll see this month how does the situation develops.

I hope this report is useful to people who visit Venezuela or plan to visit. Venezuela can be an amazing place for mongering but differently. If you are looking for model type girls and plan to give the girls a support for longer term relationship or get them out of Venezuela the hottest girls can be had for a very good workable relationship.

I have been going to Venezuela since August 2016. First time I went currency was 1,000 to a dollar since than BSF has vanished and now after removing of 5 zeros which was approx 2 months ago the currency seems a bit more stable but when the government removed 5 zeros they also bumped the minimum wage 10 folds. It had gone so bad that in the end minimum wage was $1 a month. Now recently they bumped it up to $20 per month but the problem happened that now the new currency BSS is not depreciating as much and prices of all items increased much much more. My last trip September 2018. All five star hotels were $70 per night instead of maximum of $35 per night to $40 range. All food items went up so much so that cost of most groceries, Taxi rides and such are now a bit more than Colombia. I compared it to Colombia because recently I have been living in Medellin approx 6 months a year.

One very important factor guys take many many $1 bills with you. If you don't know people in Venezuela there is almost no way for you to get cash and when you do get hold of some cash you will pay a 200 percent premium to 300 percent premium for cash. If stores will accept US $ it will be at a 20 percent premium in their favor. That means if black market is at 100 they will accept it at 80 to a dollar. This is the case in most places. Best and only way to move around in Venezuela is using ATM of other Venezuelans that you know, but that too you have to be careful whose card are you using because if you don't have trust worth people you will have to keep records of all transactions. I know many many people in Venezuela so it is much easier for me. In short honestly I am using this lovely country to my advantage in a sense that hot model type girls who can not be easily had in Colombia I get them in Venezuela.

For most people who are visiting Venezuela you can easily get working girls for less than $5 but if you really want to enjoy super hot Venezuelan girls they can be had as well. In Venezuela most girls use instagram and not facebook.

I know I have not given any specifics in this post but it is all true and those who visit Venezuela now all of them are aware that it is only worth to visit Venezuela and go through so much hassles for finding super hot girls. To save few bucks I personally would not visit Venezuela as there are many many working girl houses in Colombia that cost $20. To save few dollars not really worth it as you will spend the extra money in other additional costs.

Party On Guys Enjoy the cheapest place for sex tourism in the world or You can enjoy the hottest looking girls that can be had with A class GFE experience Your choice.

Wow sounds like you know a lot about Cuba, please go to Cuba page and give a detailed report, and would be a good start for you.Yes girls are in dance clubs to pick up but you better be careful and ask the girls when she is alone and you just have to sass it up like you are making an offer for a girl friend type situation. Don't bring up money unless she does. You may just end up fucking a girl for free but be a gentleman and give her some money as most of these poor girls don't have money for food.

Tinder and Instagram you have to work it both and if you do good you can start finding the quality girls that I was talking about. These are mostly not for people who are hitting for short term sex sessions. This requires work but some times pays off all the ways to many model types looking for a sugar daddy.

I already posted a couple of alternate twitter accounts dealing with the black market, which give an estimate using various sources like bitcoin traders and such. But ultimately it's just that, an estimate, you get the rate that the person you are dealing with wishes to offer (and you are willing to accept). That currency converter you found is using the official rate, which obviously is not the way to go.

Elaborating on that, El CLub de Baco is in the tail end of Avenida Casanova, one block away from the intersection where it becomes Avenida Tamanaco. The place is inside a very nondescript building, but above one of the entrances it has a sign with the name "Club de Baco" and two cartoony female devils. The neighboring building is a cheap hotel called "Hotel Broadway", and turning left at the end of the block you find the Colombian consulate.

Yesterday Maduro announced that he was breaking diplomatic relationships with the USA and that the embassy must vacate the premises in 72 hours, so the next days should be interesting.

Possibly FB isn't working its magic yet on my contact list. From my experience Venezuelan girls are very sweet and highly competitive in terms of attitude and looks with the native Medellin girls. I've went to Centro a couple times and while my sample size is very small right now, I've only met with Colombianas thus far.

Actually there are a lot more in Bogota and Cartagena than in Medellin.True that about many more venies in Cart and BGT than in Medellin.

As others report the venies are not into the FB thing, not in any numbers right now anyway.

The venies in Medellin are sweet BUT after spending too much time in the bars and on the streets in centro I have found that most of them, not all mind you, but the majority are simply into the drink bars and are satisfied with the couple dozen of COP that the bars pay them each night to sit and drink with bar patrons, uhhhhhhh there are a few that IO would love to bang, real sweethearts.

Just my 2 cents.

Despite what you may read and see on the news, business is being conducted in Venezuela. Trade, commerce, tourism happens everyday without incident. Clearly there are problems. Protests, food shortages for the poor, massive inflation, political issues to name a few but, far from a war zone. Protests and crime are confined to certain areas. You will not be kidnapped, robbed or shot traveling around Venezuela if you use basic common sense.

It is not inconceivable that a tourist could be the target of an extra judicial killing; even more likely, the opposition may yet resort to serious violence. That being said, I would love to be in Caracas at this point consorting with the chicas. But, as an American, I could not enter Caracas without illegally entering the country. It is a bit difficult to get a visa right now.

Its hard to see how anyone could be worse than Chavas was, but Maduro has proven himself up to the task. Americans should take heed. Getting rid of Trump will bring us Mike Pence.

Back in August 2017 the government decriminalized the use of foreign currency for transactions, and thus nowadays it's possible to openly pay (and ask for payment) in dollars. In fact, I know a few shops that give their prices in dollars, since it is much more stable and they don't have to update the prices daily (or even a few times a day) as they do while dealing in Bolivares. Also, bear in mind that 5 star hotels by law have to charge international prices in Dollars to non-venezuelans.Quick questions:

1) Is it not true that if you offer US $ to a girl she will up-charge you massively? And I mean factor of >5 massively? I guess it might sound better to her to offer for whatever $100,000 Boliviar than 16 US bucks.

2) Any idea of interpreting prices posted on escort sites? I see things like $1. 800(.000???) or $80.000 for what should be the same service. Huge discrepancy. I think I am not interpreting right. I know how to figure out Colombian prices. It's like either $150,000 where the $ means COP, or $150 where you have to add "000". Nobody ever quotes in actual US $. But in Venezuela BsF I am finding it very difficult to decipher.

Thanks.

When everything is done and Maduro is no more in charge, it will take a quite a few years for this country to recover, it won't happen overnight. I say 3-4 years for things to start getting better, and a full decade ahead to see Venezuela on track once again. And that's if the next people do everything right. I kow it's difficult to understand for an outsider, but this country is in ruins, the damage done to our national infrastructure goes far deeper than what most people (even most Venezuelans) think. There will be a window of opportunity where the prices (for a foreigner's POW, of course) will still be quite affordable but Venezuela won't be in such turmoil anymore.

I have just spent 2 months in Colombia and my most enjoyable sessions there were with Venezuelanas. I thought I'd visit the source so to speak. I am reading that the country is in ruins. However, I am going to ask myself a few questions before visiting. They are: Can I stay in a decent hotel? Can I eat reasonably good food in a decent restaurant? Can I get a taxi to and from places of interest (ahem)? Can I call an escort service and have a girl come to my room? Will my consorts accept US dollars? If Venezuelan currency is more appropriate, how easy is it to change to the local currency? After I have satisfied myself with acceptable answers I'm heading there.

(1) My post dated February 23rd (in this forum) stated: "Venezuela has reached a climax. You will see a change in the next 90 days or less."
65 more days to go - Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock....

(2) As of March 14, the remaining US diplomats have left Venezuela. The US Embassy in Caracas has been "locked" and the Diplomats took the US flag with them.

(3) Some parts of Caracas are still experiencing intermittent power outages. The duration of these blackouts varies. Outside Caracas, the blackouts are more widespread.

(4) The girls who could leave Venezuela are in Colombia, Peru, Panama, Northern Brazil and the Caribbean.

Safety first. I hope you make the right decision.

They are really not the ones that are suffering from our current crisis.

Yes, if you have money you can eat well.

Yes. Any moderately decent hotel will have at least a couple of taxi drivers that work with them, and it would be very wise to become friends with those guys. Just don't take any taxi cab you may find in the streets.

You would be surprised, most hotels (even 5 star hotels) have become very tolerant out of necessity and won't mind you bringing female company. A year ago I helped around a forum member that was staying in one of the Marriots in Caracas. I asked the concierge directly on the matter, and his response was that as long as there were no disturbances, you could bring whoever you wanted to your room.

Yes, everybody will be more than happy to take dollars as payment. But expect the girls to charge a bit of an extra than if you were paying in Bolivares.

Not easy at all, unfortunately. Cash has once again become incredibly scarce, and even if the person changing the $$$ has availibility of physical Bolivares Soberanos, he will ask for a "penalty" on the exanchge rate. Which of course negates the advantage of paying in bolivares. As previously discussed, there are ways to obtain a local bank account which can be used to recieve transfers, but I only recommend that if you plan to stay for a while, or to return in the future. There is also the option of the legal currency exchange, as nowadays the legal rate is just a bit lower than the black market rate.

With that said, I must add that you should only visit our country if you are feeling *really* adventurous and have a good idea of what to do, what you will find here, and what *could* happen in the near future. A brief look at recent news concerning our country should make it evident what's going on, so please have that in mind. Any questions you may have, please send me PM.

Hmmm, I wish that was true. It's been 4 months since Guaido started his "I am the REAL president of Venezuela" push and absolutely nothing has happened. Hi,

I consider myself to be a smart traveller. How safe is it to be in Venezuela nowadays? There are too many conflicting reports online. You can't go around without any care, showing off a rolex and an iphone and bundle of dollars in your hand, and you certainly don't want to be caught walking on a street in Caracas at night. The minumum *montly* income in Venzuela is a ridiculous $2. 6 at the moment, so you must understand that a lot of people will try, if not outright rob you, at least scam you off a couple of bucks. With that said, with some common sense and taking precautions, Venezuela is manageable for a traveller. It helps if you at least have a passing knowledge of Spanish (very few people speak english here), and if you have a local willing to show you around and explain how things work.

You can't go around without any care, showing off a rolex and an iphone and bundle of dollars in your hand, and you certainly don't want to be caught walking on a street in Caracas at night. Contrary to what the news is reporting you will not be kidnapped, drugged, or immediately shot when exiting the plane in Venezuela. Common sense is what it takes. Really anywhere in the world you go. Probably even in your home town. In Caracas there are nice areas and not so nice areas. In your home town would you walk around the not so nice areas in the middle of the night,. Probably not. Same thing applies in Caracas. People ask this question all the time about, Venezuela, El Salvador, Honduras, Haiti etc. I have been to all of these places many many times and never had an issue. In fact to the contrary. Some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met was in Venezuela and other countries you would never think.

When visiting anywhere I just used basic common sense and don't look for trouble.

Now I have to add that even the "nice" areas, especially in a city like Caracas, are never entirely safe. A few years ago I got my cell phone robbed at gunpoint while waiting for public transport in one of the main avenues of my city, in commercial area with people walking around, in plain daylight. Of course, in that occassion I was caught like an idiot talking with my phone in the open (I didn't even notice the guy with the gun at first), which is a big no-no. So yeah, common sense. I always say this, dress as plain as possible, ideally a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers; no gold chains or watches, and bring the cheapest possible low-mid tier phone with you (which make no mistake, will still be envy of many). All the bling you need get a girl in this place is the knowledge that you are a foreigner with cash.

Yes, hotels that were good 1 or 2 years ago are still good. They are really not the ones that are suffering from our current crisis.

Yes, if you have money you can eat well.

Yes. Any moderately decent hotel will have at least a couple of taxi drivers that work with them, and it would be very wise to become friends with those guys. Just don't take any taxi cab you may find in the streets..Great Write up mate and brave of you to stay in such an amazing country. I have a short work trip to US next month in Miami and was thinking of visiting for 5 days as I am in love in Venezuelan women, they are so sweet and cute and such amazing fuck. Had one in HK a few years ago even now in my SA account I have at least 10 Venezuelan chicas wanting to meet me or I call them to Dubai.

Will you guide me Step by Step as what is latest current situation on ground reality. I had a Venezuelan Business contact also long time ago but she is not active on skype.

Thanks in advance.

I think most hotels will require you to pay in BS but I am sure you can find some that accept dollars, with regards to the girls / agencies they have all started to quote in dollars as well as BS so again you should have no problems. Having said that it would help immensely if you found a local that can set you up with a bank card and SIM, most bellboys will sort you out as they are all looking to make money on the side but if you are stuck I do have a reliable contact that I have kept in touch with.

Hi gentlemen,

I'm going to Venezuela. I have a question, how much do street prostitutes cost per hour? Maybe looking for girls on Tinder for money, what do you think about it? How much money does I need per week if I wrote it in the word section, please ask for information or a link. Thank you and best regards.

The easiest and safest option would be the escorts and agencies advertising online, especially in twitter. Average rate is $20-30 per hour, but it is possible to find girls asking for $15 or even $10. I even know an account offering an hour for $5.

I've been to Thailand three times, now it's time for Latin women. It would be nice to find a woman for a longer time, show the city, go for food, GFE, like in Thailand, it was great, women smiling, nice, I had a good time. I care about pretty women, I don't take mediums but it's a matter of taste.

Seriously in centro Medellin just in the past week 2 of my 4 girls were from Venezuela and this afternoon or this evening today I will again have my pick of about 40 Venezuelan chicas to choose from.

Just a quick example was this past Saturday in centro Medellin, meet a newly arrived sweet 19 yo and took her to my apartment for the night and returned her to centro yesterday afternoon, a sweet and nice girl, we watched movies and had some snacks then slept all night arm in arm then good sex in the morning, and to boot she was happy with the 130,000 pesos I gave her, she is now pestering me when will we do it again. A sweetie.

I and I suppose many other mongers did not start paying for pussy until at least 40, so what are you doing looking for putas? They don't care for your age, they care for your dollars, plain and simple, heck I am over twice your age and a few years ago I took myself off of Tinder as I could not keep up with the interest. It is about dollars not necessarily looks of the size of your swagging dick.

Just come to Medellin and see for yourself but yes in centro anytime between about 10 AM and midnight is good, just last night again I met a few new Venezuelan chicas who would rock my world.

The flight from PTY was smooth on copa, had not slept the whole night work, Habano's and SA pussy what a deadly combination. So for CCS the chat was on in ccs with this SA girl who is a tik tok star blue hair and tattoos all over skinny and a dancer / model. The moment I told her the name of my hotel she was hell bent to see me, but I was busy so I called her at 7 pm after long persuasion by her. I don't know why she was fascinated by the hotel was pretty normal to me. She comes and all my business friends are shocked to see a hot sexy bombshell with me in CCS they are long time visitors in ccs and I am rookie and newbie for them, the girl is so cool that two of the men can't help request her if she has friends she has this dark color clean shaved friend absolutely sexy ass and tight body again a model and dancer.

Drinks start to flow with 3 horny men and this tattoo girl that a bottle of Gin and Whiskey is done in no time, food comes in and so does the dark lady the guy for who she was called gasped and his jaw dropped in 15 minutes he could not control and wanted to fuck her, seemed his orgasm was pending since the last one week or 10 days. Me and my girl are eating, chilling, listening to music and chatting on translator. In 15 minutes this guy is done and by the time me and my girl start to make out. It was super passionate and she starts to ride me dry humping and then naked rubbing and next thing I know she has me inside her she is going crazy grinding and fucking me as she knows how to groove that booty. Doggy style is changed as per her it has me stable and she fucking non stop moving all the time grinding pushing non stop wanting it more deep controlling the rhythm.

So we have to get dressed as her friend has got free and my colleague has asked her to go from her room, so we have to stop fucking as we planned to go club to listen música how much am in love with reggaton and Latina babes is immense. So we head to a club at midnight on a normal taxi non the streets of Caracas (the most dangerous city on the planet) the American media is the most biased I feel on this planet, for there greed they can ruin a country and then don't feel sorry for it. We go easily to this club on a street 15 minutes away from our hotel which is in downtown and it's a very nice bar, simple easy super nice music and good crowd. Not like Managua where at that bar there were more girls then men here it is more men than ladies but I am with 2 women so nothing much is required. 2 hours of alcohol and música the DJ is very amazing so it was fun. Came back at 3 am again in the same taxi easily to the hotel with 2 girls with me drunk on rum and dancing like crazy. The room becomes a after part place with both women getting crazy and crazy by the time the food is arriving there is so much horniness in the room it's absolutely crazy.

All over a nice night and then an even nice morning breakfast in bed.

Cisaaoooo time for 2nd night in CCS.

Peace.

With the people making a miserable $2 a month, how possibly a prostitute can charge $30 per hour? It's more than in Colombia from what I read. I was expecting Venezuela to be much cheaper giving the situation. Instead.

Is there a place cheaper than Colombia in South America? I mean, considering girls, accommodation, food and local transports.

Thanks to the depenalization of doing business in foreign currencies that happened last year, our economy has become semi-dollarized and things have stabilized a bit, and thus the rates have gone up. Still, 30-40 dollars is the average, it is not that difficult to find girls asking for $20 or even $15, and even lower if you look into it.

If not, at least I hope things are getting better for the people there. I'll get there one day.

Thanks for the info E. Will most likely get back to Colombia because I like it there and know my way around a bit in Medellin. Hopefully sooner than later. December is a fun month there. Probably try some other places too. Mazizales and Armenia come to mind as well as Río Negro to stay clase by but in a cooler temp. Medellín is too warm for me lots of the time.

It's not usual to see a Venezuelan beauty abroad married to some average joe who can provide security and stability. It reminds me of West Germany soon after the wall fell down. You would see East German beauties seamlessly starting new lives in the West.
