No YF required when you arrive from EUROPE. Crossing borders in Africa they might want to see one. For Kenya GlobalHaven vaccine certificate COVID is still mandatory. Or a 1000 KES Note does the magic.

Mwalimu.Globalhaven is a can not a must.

You are free to prove your Covid vaccination with the WHO yellow booklet as well.

Globalhaven is a can not a must. You are free to prove your Covid vaccination with the WHO yellow booklet as well.I'm not disputing this info but this is my testimony:

The Kenya Airway website gives the GlobalHaven QR link to fill out with COVID vaccination info. I brought my vaccine books and the QR when I checked in at JFK. The clerk used my QR only to check COVID vaccines. She was not interested in my Yellow Fever vaccine book. I asked her if the COVID books would have been good enough instead of the QR. She said that she could NOT check me in with my COVID books. I must have the QR. I still keep my books handy but I've only needed the QR. I flew to and from Zimbabwe and Ethiopia via Ethiopia Airways as well but I didn't bother to ask about books vs QR.

This is what Kenyan authorities say on their websites:

'There will be no paper verification of COVID-19 test results and vaccination certificates upon arrival into Kenya. Airlines should ensure that all travelers have uploaded both documents into global haven before boarding via www.globalhaven.org'.

Meanwhile I was told this might not be valid. However when I entered Nairobi Airport this month I passengers without QR were held up.

Here are Lufhansa requirements, when flying from Frankfurt to Mombasa, right now:

"Passengers:- must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival; or- must have a COVID-19 PCR test in English taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or- are subject to a COVID-19 rapid antigen test upon arrival.

Passports and other travel documents accepted for entry are considered valid until the day before the expiration date.

Passengers with flu-like symptoms must submit the Travel Health Certificate Application before departure at https://*******.com/3uszn3hk . ".

So no reason to visit any website unless you have flu, that is how I understand this. Airline companies are generally more strict of rules than immigration, in most of the cases. Because they are the ones who have to arrange flight back to the passenger somehow if he can't get through immigration. If you can get to the airplane then immigration will be solved usually.

Mwalimu.Sorry for the delay getting back to you guys. Thanks a lot. So far, I think I will be ok. It seems in Nairobi YF may be recommended but not required. I did upload my vaccination documents on the GlobalHaven portal. The best part was that I did not have to resize any documents/pics to make the system accept them.

Was leaving Tanzania on a 1 hour flight to Nairobi on the 29th of Novemeber (2022). I had the GH QR code handy if requested, along with my vaccination cert. The only reason I knew about the Global Haven website is because my travel itinerary through Kiwi.com, informed me that I needed to certify my vaccination. And complete it through the Global Haven portal. So I completed it.

At Tanzania airport, Tanzania Air had their staff pre screening passengers passports, checking vaccination status, before allowing you to get to the ticket counter. Ticket counter never asked to see a QR code, nor asked to see my vaccine card. They just concentrated on ticketing and baggage drop off. At Tanzania immigration, I had to fill out a departure card for my stay in Tanzania.

I get to Nairobi, and way before you are allowed to get to Immigration, staffers are just outside of the building asking for vaccine certs. This was a quick process that took seconds. They were not spending any time closely examining vaccine certs. I showed my vaccine card which was quickly glanced at and then I was allowed to go straight to immigration. I'm not sure if there were any individuals who volunteered to show a Global Haven QR code instead. But showing a QR code obviously wasnt required.

At immigration there were NO arrival cards required to be filled out (Like I had to do in Tanzania). I showed my 5 yr e-visa, was asked how long was I staying this trip in Kenya. Was then advised that since I have a 5 yr visa, I should go to the US embassy in Nairobi to get my passport stamped so I won't have to rely on the paper copy of my e-visa for subsequent visits.

Another thing I was happy about, is that no other vaccinations were required to enter Kenya, namely not needing a Yellow Fever certification. Entering Kenya was a very smooth process, same as it was entering Tanzania. Not having to wear masks in these countries, on their planes or within their airports was a very welcome change to what I was used to.

On December 8, I asked Kenya Immigration a question that comes up often between long stay travelers in Kenya:

Q: "After my Kenya 3 month tourist visa and 1-3 month extension expire, do I need to leave the East Africa Community (EAC)?

A: "We get this question often. You must leave Kenya and apply for a new Kenya visa; you are NOT required to leave EAC. ".

In fact, I apply and print my new Kenya visa before I leave Kenya.

RG.When I arrive March 15 I was able to receive 140 shillings to the dollar in nairobi which was above the official rate then the President made a speech about the giving dollars over the official rate so the dollar is now before the offiicial rate I was able to receive 135 on Friday April 28. I guess Kenya has a big black on dollars they want dollars here.

Kthx. You could always have gotten a VoA if you cross via land borders. That goes for Uganda too. Even though you can use a eVISA at the land borders, you only needed eVISA if you flew in. Since the site is down, you can get a VoA at the airport now too.

I crossed a land border today. The eCitizen site has been online since the Aug 3.

I should also explain VoA at land borders. Kenya immigration officer will refer you to a cyber shop where a familiar will create an eVisa for you for a fee. Once you pay, the cyber shop familiar will hand carry the receipt to the immigration officer and the officer will give you a visa even before the eVisa is approved. You will be instructed to print the eVisa once its approved.

I agree with.

Now done my e-visa number 5. Visa was alltime out after 1 day.Flew into NBO Aug 21; had applied and received my e-visa in < 24 hours. HOWEVER, I was in same Customs line in NBO after deboarding with a couple who had not received evisa after a week. Lufthansa had still allowed them to board. I don't know exactly what happened as I was ahead of them in line but I am certain they would have been granted a visa on arrival.

I feel a bit fortunate as there is a POC with the local embassy who quickly responds to my email inquiries, and the e-visa (short) are all processed locally and not in Kenya. Unfortunately, I have been waiting over 2. 5 months for a 5 year visa and those are all processed in Kenya so sure if or when I will get that visa.

Anyone else having issues with eCitizen visa application online? I get to the part where I upload a photo and then I get a message that says "oops were having trouble connecting to the internet" and then I'm back at the photo submittal page and it will no longer allow me to upload or progress to the next part of the application. I resized the jpeg image multiple times to see if this would fix the issue, but I don't think that's the cause.

It got stuck at the upload of the hotel reservation. It's Africa. Nothing you can do. Connection probably froze for a reason. I tried multiple times and it finally ate it. I was afraid I had to do it again. Don't do it on a smart phone. I only use regular laptop. I used latest WIN 10 H 22. EDGE Browser. Latest version. Payment went right through. But have to use 3 D Security. SEV was issued exactly 24 h later. Make sure you upload only JPEG and less than 267 KB?. Size. Another tip. I saved passport pics and Passport bio page in the cloud. So I didn't have to do it again. Reservation I used booking just a week. Which I'll cancel afterwards. NO need to upload an air ticket. It's not mandatory.

I found a couple sthat list the Kenyan Immigration Locations. However, I know of two offices not on the list. Let's complete a list:

Nairobi - 9th Floor?

Kisumu.

Eldoret - 2nd floor. The most friendly.

Mombasa.

Nakuru.

Kisii.

Embu.

Garissa.

Not on the List:

Malindi. Ground floor.

Bungoma. Ground floor. I'm told this is where those to be deported are sent. The woman is an awful human being.

What is so Special about them, that they want to charge Double of what others are charging?

Asante sana to all Brothers for warning about new active custom duty extortion.

I'm going to have to play this carefully with their antics. I got a second laptop for work, but of course will lie and say it's my own. Don't know if this will work, but I'll find the same model for each on Ebay, print the pages showing sales price (Used, of course; and closer to $200-250), and claim that's the value of each. "This is Kenya" so such nonsense may actually work. Karibu Kenya!

I have gifts already wrapped. They're clothes from my sis to KE friends. No way even collectively they value 500 USD. I'll be honest with this one and describe that; if they want to see inside I'll slit one opening just to prove, then retape it later.

All else is easily individually under $100.

To be more specific, tax for objects entry above 500 USD value is a proposal, not yet active I think.

Other increase in txes for parcs and reserve are already decided, starting for Jan 1st I guess.

All this shows their will to fin the money evrywhere and may be specifically from tourists!

And yes, soon we could see some taxes added to ourr business, for sure.

And yes, soon we could see some taxes added to ourr business, for sure.No. It's not a proposal. It just had never been enforced. It's law since 2004. Exempt are used personal items. If you think you finance your trip with used 4 iPhones or 5 used laptops they hit you with import duty. Same as new electronics in the box. I. e. For example new iPhone more than 500 $ customs value you find pay. As simple as that. They scan all luggage and whatever they find that mark it with white crosses. Hand luggage is also scanned. How I know that? I arrived a couple of days ago.

It is "supposed" to be on new items worth more that $500. This is Kenya, meaning they will make it up as they go along. New / old what it is worth decides upon how much the customs officer wants to try and shake you down. Someone has took the new gazzette to court and it is supposed to be suspended. We shall see.

Personal Update: I'm back in the land of the mongerers' playground! Let's see if this el nino mini-rainy season will improve the chances of getting the ladies over for netflix & chillin'!

And to add to the luggage-checking-at-Kenya-Airport, the evening of my arrival Customs ushered all travelers thru checkout very quickly. They actually told us NOT to put big luggage in the scanner, just small bags. I guess we all dodged a tariff bullet that night.

As for currency exchange, just wanted to share that today I got rate 152.80 KSh to one Dollar -- using (transfer) Wise. That's the service I use to transfer cash from personal bank account directly to my MPesa. Thus, no need for ATM card while in Kenya.

Anybody experienced getting a better rate when going to a exchange shop and presenting hard greenbacks?

The checked in hold luggage is scanned before the carousel and you are able to collect it. They were marking cases with an X that they wanted opened.

However, I have heard they have stopped this the last few weeks? Hopefully someone can update on if this is accurate.

The KS is 192 v GBP, unheard of in my 20 years in Kenya. Average is about 140. It will be 200 by Christmas.

It is being replaced by an Electronic travel authorization, same price though could be reduced to $30.Oh, that's great. I'm planning to arrive on the 5th of January. Will I still need a visa? Or an Electronic Travel Authorization? The main evisa site seems to be down. I clicked on one of the travel agent sites and asked them about the coming visa free changes. They said they hadn't heard anything official.

So. What do people in my shoes do? Just trust that I can get in with no issues? Probably not. Can't get onto the main site now. Should I just got ahead and try to get a visa from one of these 3rd party sites?

After the complete UTurn of the kenyan government they will start to roll out eTA. There's already a non functional test site:

https://www.etakenya.go.ke/en

When that will go live anyone's guess. But they hired a professional company which already had an off the shelf IT solution. That's how they'll roll it out quickly. People like you might be left out in the cold. TIK. The new eTA is supposedly easier to use. There'll be an app. Read the information. 30 $. Single entry only. That means. Hop over the border to TZ and come back again. Another 30 $. The immigration officer determines the length of stay. Nobody knows what the policy be. I figure 3 M. 3 months. And then?

It was 51 dollars as before. What was new was that there is now expiry date for visa, 3 months.

So I was lucky with my timing.

I wonder if there are just technical problems in website? They should have some service up soon, Kenya gets so much money from tourism.

By the way, I see sometimes that people get nervous with E-visa and hotel confirmation. I did not got any confirmation from my hotel when I was filling visa application. So I copied emails where I had been discussing about reservation to text editor, removed all the "maybe I am coming" and similar stuff, and then took screenshot of it, hotel confirmation have to be in. Jpeg mode. It was accepted, I got visa. One other time I took screenshot of the whatsapp chat of the same hotel manager and put that to application, no problem.

So this hotel confirmation part of the visa application don't have to be so official.

I wonder if visa on arrival is still accepted? Well even if it is, it may be that airline company don't let you checkin, if you don't have visa with you.

There's supposed to be a mobile app.

And now that it's December 27th, the site now says it will be ready in 'a few days. ' It also makes clear that the site as it exists now is just a dummy site. If you try to apply as it is now, it won't be processed. Great. So my departure is Jan. 4th. Evisa site has been down. Apparently this ETA site processing will be at least 3 business days. I may be in a fix for my flight. I think I may just get a cheap onward ticket from Nairobi to show to the airline checkin to avoid offloading.

Perhaps fly to TZ and get a visa on arrival and cross a land border.

I finally went the e-visa route. And most impressively the approval came in just 12 hours. In fact it was only 2 hours or so into the first working day. So now I have peace of mind. The ETA site is still saying 'in a few days. ' Glad I'm not waiting around for that. So in the next week I can focus on communicating with girls I might meet. I submitted an eTA on Sunday afternoon and it was in my email box approved Tuesday morning. The website was simpler and the total cost was less than $35. It took my credit card without issue. Just like the eVISA site, I still needed to creat an airline itinerary and hotel reservations for the first few days upon arrival. It's a visa by a different name.

Thats good information about being able to web chat, OT.

You can go through the eFNS site and apply for a free extension. Even though you are allowed 3 months, the site assigns you 60 days. You print out the approved extension and take it to Immigration. You can apply a second time I'm told but I never have.

The other way is take your passport to Immigration and hope they stamp it. Don't offer a gratuity because some offices will have you arrested. If you have a 'friend of a friend', you can pass 2 k-3 k in your passport and get a stamp. If you're an idiot, you can pay 5 k and demonstrate your supreme stupidity for paying for something legally free.

Installed under android from the play store. When you start the app it asks for camera rights to scan your passport and to make a selfie of you. Scan of your passport means just to hold your phone at the site from your passport with your ID data. Surprisingly this works good. Next is the selfie, this will be added to your eTA document. So maybe not too silly funny smiling when you taken your selfie. LOL. Now the usual questions will come, how long you want to stay, where you want to go and so on. Then the upload from the flight itinerary and hotel reservation is coming. You can save and leave the app and when you come back you can resume. Last but not least the payment with credit card (35 $). In my case I get a mail after two days that it's finished (eTA document as attachment).

So it was easier as I thought with the app. But as I'm not a fan of tons of apps at my phone, I will delete the app soon.

There have been demonstrations every Tuesday and Thursday. They start out peaceful but the Police and Army ultimately turn on their own unarmed citizens. Sometimes groups vandalize businesses but mostly it's the authorities who create the violence.

You may want to reconsider your travel plans. The government is already trying to blame foreigners. I predict the police and immigration will take advantage of the situation and find more creative ways, including violating your human rights, to shake you down.

You can debate my warning but, especially novice African travelers should stay clear for now.

We have violent riots all over the UK. Political protests galore. One group of people protesting about others. Violence from one side to another and vice versa. A police force that is one sided and corrupt. Jailing of people who were just watching a riot, happened to get caught up in it. A corrupt authoritarian government. Daily stabbings all over the UK. Including tourists and children in Leicester Square. There are now travel advisories about the UK. As told by both sides. Including the lies, misinformation and half-truth included inside such descriptions.

None of that is The Point.

The Point is-- these forums are not the place for any of that.

You or anyone who wants to spout off on such stuff, go back to Reddit. Or Russia or China or whenever you're really from.

Here-- we talk about 'The Beautiful Pursuit', and stick to that.

If you don't, you'll be called-out and booted. Goes for all of us.

I'm a US citizen. As one, I can get a 5-year multiple entry Visa to Kenya online. "The Kenya 5-Year Multiple-Entry eTA is an electronic travel authorization that allows US nationals to enter Kenya multiple times within a 5-year period for tourism, business, conference, work, or medical purposes. Travelers can enter and exit Kenya multiple times within the validity period. " Obviously, I wouldn't need to obtain the eTA (evisa) every time I reenter for 5 years. With this visa I could stay in Kenya for 3 months and extend it to another 3 month for a total stay of 6 months. After that, I would have to leave Kenya and reenter in order to be able to stay another 3 moths again. The big question is will they impose the 6 months in 1 year rule. How soon will I be able to reenter the country? Do I have to wait for a year to pass to be able to reenter? I was looking for info on the web, I couldn't find any. Also, some countries in Africa have Visa on arrival, such is Zambia and Malawi. In those countries, the 6 months in a year rule will be enforced? Based on what some veteran contributors are saying, the answer is NO! However, the eTA is now is done online. Please anyone who has experience let us know!

You need to get out on June 30, day less, day more (do the math on 180 days), if you decide to stay non stop. You sit and. See you Jan 1 the next year. As simple as that. If you break your stay in 3 month stints. You can do two of them in the 360 days after the first entry. The total days of the different stints must not exceed 180 in the 12 months after you enter first.

It's all a matter of finding the proper balance in staying in and staying out.

The 180 days is a global requirement linked to tax residence etc. If you never want to go back to your country you will need three countries to browse here and there.

Your home country will still ask for tax payments of your revenues accrued abroad, net of what paid abroad in taxes.

It's a complicate matter to be debated in a sex forum, BTW.

That doesn't have to exceed a total of 180 days in a 360 period of time. Up to the individual how to work it. Well, lots are disillusioned and will be up to some surprises thinking they can stay 5 years with no consequences. They can of course, but then become a tax entity in the country. And pay taxes. Renting for 2-3-5 years? Not forbidden. Be aware it will be vacant for half year. As I said global rules are aligning to avoid one is a tax exile from his homeland, and doesn't pay taxes in the hosting country.
There have been a few years I was entering Thailand very often: few hours, three days, one week,
Every time on the 30 days free stamp. The most times was 19 times in one year. But all in all I probably never exceeded a total of 30/40 days in the 360. Immigration can easily count if they wish. Seeing the IN and OUT were close to each other they never bothered to check,

Hey I recently did a extensive review on Nairobi Kenya, I've also travelled to Mombasa but I'm going to opted out from putting out that information all I can say is that Swahili and Mijikenda people are very greedy for money and they are the predominant ethnic groups on the coast! And I'll avoid doing business with them in general too much of a headache. Kenya is a dangerous country in my opinion Colombia is way more dangerous and that's even if you are a native speaker of Spanish. Kenya is a much safer for the night club scene and it's also safer for the hooker scene too. Kenyan women bodies are naturally curvy while in Colombia it's not to me it's more than silicone and BBL heaven which is a turn off for me. Most nightclubs in Kenya have rooms upstairs you can take your girl to. And the prices are reasonable to use the rooms while most nightclubs in Colombia don't have that option. Premium pay for play in Nairobi is roughly $40. While in Colombia premium pay for play can cost you several hundreds of dollars. And the location for the best looking girls in Nairobi is on Mombasa Road it's best to go there around 8 pm that's when they come out you can have your tax cab driver bring you there and tell him to wait for you while you get the girl you want. Mombasa Road girls will try to entice you for an overnight stay in your hotel. And to be honest most Kenyan women will try to do a sleepover vs a overnight stay. I feel much safer in Kenya than in Colombia despite the fact both countries have friendly people, Colombia crime just put it as dangerously high compared to Nairobi.

If you were to catch an STD infection while in Kenya, I strongly recommend going to a real pharmacist like the one in Westgate Mall they sell excellent quality medication. The so called Chemists located in CBD and in poorer estates sells poor quality medications and medications that can potentially damage your organs! I know this because I'm a pharmacological expert. Never argue with Kenyan police or the locals about money on the streets. You're literally asking for trouble, people in this country are highly sensitive and they can get offended very easy. Never visit a woman in the ghetto especially with the attention on spending the night over here place! Always assume that a Kenyan woman has another boyfriend and never fall for romance scams. A lot of people in this country are miserable and they looking for a way to get out of this hell hole! And they'll anything and say anything to find some sucker that'll help them get a visa to get out of this place. Be prepared to get fucked in the doctors office, I had actually gotten sick and had to go to the hospital I was in there for less than 2 hours and received a $5000 medical bill for something which should've cost no more than $90! Lucky for me I had travel insurance's and that's something I strongly recommend having anywhere in the world!

If you can budget it, you can have a good hotel in a estate like Westlands, Kilimani, Keliwasui, Parklands, Muguthai and etc and have a sex hotel in places like in CBD you bring ladies from the streets there. Never show signs you have a lot of money dress just plain. Paying 5000 ksh to multiply women in the same area is a red flag! That's a lot of damn money in Kenya period! Especially for paying for sex! Finally most women are very cautious about having unprotected sex in Kenya and I suggest you do the same, most Kenyan women do not shower after they have sex even when it's no condom sex, they just find the next John! And just to set the record straight 30% don't even shower period on a regular basis and they get offended when you request that they shower.

Also, in Colombia you should be able to speak Spanish at least little bit, only seasoned girls speak English. In Kenya and East Africa, people speak English because countries were English colonies once. Kenya is cheaper.

A major difference: In Colombia you can get white girls, in East Africa they don't exists, or if you find some white woman she is looking for local black partner, just like us. Actually it is not easy to find black girls in Colombia, they are minority, and girl clubs have gathering for local guys, which means that girls are as white as possible, blonded hair, and that silicon. Silicon in front and back and face. Colombian men like curvy girls, so it is difficult to find slim one without silicon.

I personally prefer Kenya and East Africa.

It seems like you're just pulling stats out of your ass based on a few encounters with some ladies. A blanket generalization like that is in terrible taste.

Let's try and inform people on the board with objective facts and figures.

Hey I'm surprised you even asked me that question, you can virtually almost anywhere in that country and you'll find women who smelled like they don't wash period and that's including in the malls such as Westgate, Broadwalk, BCS Mall and the list goes on. I'm pretty sure it was plenty of times you was about to have sex with with a Kenyan woman and her vagina just stink! Or she doesn't use deodorant or it smelt like she haven't showered in days. That city (Nairobi) has numerous of public showers and CBD has the highest price I've seen 50 while you can go somewhere like Umoja and pay 10 ksh regardless of that good hygiene is not practiced by the women in that country. And even after a no CD (no condom sex) visit the women will not take the time and properly remove cum from their pussy. They just move on to the next guy, and even the so called cat callers who seek out foreign men for casual get togethers don't clean properly after sex and have foul smells on their 2000 touchable body parts. I said 30% only because the number of ladies I've met stunk that bad in that country.

But you say he is wrong and want to inform people with objective facts and figures. Fine. So where exactly are your facts and figures? What is your informed guess as to the percentage of girls not showering? Complaining about a post but then not giving any corrective information is more wrong.

As someone who has spent time mainly in the US, Colombia and Kenya (and that's basically it), I feel uniquely qualified to answer this. Colombia.

I'm a chocolate lover, but Colombia is just easier. And the paisa's are tremendous. Much hotter than Kenyans overall.

Hello,

I'm really hesitating between Colombia and Kenya for my next summer vacation. I go to Thailand every year, but I feel like trying something different. Last year, I went to Madagascar, and it was really nice.

What I love most are nightclubs and girls. Would you recommend Kenya or Colombia first? Which one do you think is better?

Thanks!

Again, I mainly spend time in 3 places. The US, Colombia and Kenya. I'd say this Kenya is safer than narrative is UNTRUE. All 3 countries, US included have good area and bad areas. If you put yourself in the line of fire in any of the countries you could face some harsh consquences. The black girls comment about Colombia is totally untrue. There are a ton of good looking black latinas in Colombia. Absolute LIE to say they are rare. They are not. It's less than 50-50, but not uncommon or hard to find at all. Also I do not speak spanish at all. Has never hindered me in Colombia.

Unless you have a month or more under your belt in both countries, you should not be offering your 2 cents, because your 2 cents is not coming from a place of actual knowledge, it's coming from hearsay and feelings.

Also in my opinion, Kenya is safer than Colombia, and East Africa generally safer than South America.

Nice, thank you for your answer.

You feel more easy Colombia than Kenya? Why?

I feel for a white people, really easy in Africa.

The only reason why I hesitate with Colombia, it's all the story's we heard. I'm only nightlife person, so it's more risky.

Unless you have a month or more under your belt in both countries, you should not be offering your 2 cents, because your 2 cents is not coming from a place of actual knowledge, it's coming from hearsay and feelings.I was living in Bogota at some point, couple of years. It is some years ago now but I don't think things have changed so much. I felt more unsafe there, taxis were dangerous sometimes, robbing people. But this is old debate in this forum, which one is more safe, Kenya or Colombia.

Population of black people in Colombia is 9-10 %, according to internet. That would be enough but you don't find them in the girl clubs which I was mostly visiting there, local men want white girls. In Bogota there were usually one or two black girls in each clubs, because gringos like me wanted them. Usually from Cali. So I went to Cali thinking that I find lot of black girls there, but no gringos visiting Cali, so no black girls at girl places at all. Locals told me that I should go to some salsa places far from centrum and dance with them to get a black girl, that would have been interesting. Black people are mainly in coast, so I went to Cartagena. Beautiful city but no black girls in clubs. Pacific Ocean coast. Not a place for gringos, dangerous.

So Bogota was best place to find Colombian black girls, mostly from Cali. But it is boring city otherwise, for a tourist. Best just go to Medellin and take a room from Mansion, whatever name is nowadays. There are lot of girls and hotel guests are similar minded mongerer gringos. Some of the girls maybe black. Easiest way for first timer to explore Colombia, Medellin is beautiful city, good for tourist.

This definition of black is of course relative matter, in Kenya and other countries if some black girl is more light skinned than others she calls herself white.

This Colombia versus Kenya debate comes once and a while. Interesting that it is not Brazil versus Kenya. In Brazil you can find girls of any color. But since Discoteca Help was closed hundreds of years ago (rest in peace) Rio got so boring, guys like me lost interested of Brazil.

I admit that JoeF479 was right in everything, and I was wrong, so I don't have to participate this debate any more?

I just wanted to add about Colombia that they have a big issue of girls putting drugs in your drink to knock you out. There is actually a facebook group about this issue where people constantly post about getting drugged and robbed.

It seems that they drug your drink at the bar or the girl does it when she comes to your apartment. They actually have many drug gangs that target tourists.

You can just search about this and you will find many stories about guys being drugged and robbed. What is scary is you can probably die if they use too many drugs, these people really get messed up from these drugs.

I don't know if this is even a thing in Kenya, but I would be on high alert if I was in Colombia.

When I arrived to Nairobi earlier this year I was told by several locals including the police that the women in Kenya will do that too you! I never eat nor drink around hookers and that's including the so called good girls off dating apps. You'll have a higher chance running into those women in the estates.

Hey, question please.

Preparing a trip, had a look at exit entry requirements. Never thought of this before, but I noticed it said currency restrictions to enter: None. Currency restrictions to exit: 100,000 KES. Anyone ever heard of anyone being fucked with? I don't recall ever being searched exiting any country. But I'll be doing onward travel, and I like having cash. Say the guy happens to look through your shit and finds your envelope with $4,000 dollars. That's going to be a good fuckin day for him, and a bad one for you.

Maybe it's just plain stupid to travel around Africa with much cash. And so too maybe is this question. Haha. Thoughts please?

Thanks.

Thanks.I believe the cash limit expressed in KES refers to KES banknores, not to other currencies. Which you can bring within other limits, clearly stated too. Check on government website or call the Kenya embassy where you are.

Those countries do not like their banknotes go abroad.

Usually, globally, the entry-exit limit is 10,000 €/ Vietnam has 7,000. UAE exit limit is 20,000 $. Just some random examples.

If you enter with more than that, and expect to exit too with more than that, simply declare it at customs on arrival.

Countries do not want you leave them with money earned locally without paying taxes. So if you exit with more than what you entered with, you need to explain why and how. Cash can be spent reasonably, even if a lot (when you enter with excess) simply keep receipts.

Your explanation was perfect, and you are correct. KES is not the same as other banknotes. It gave me a chance to recalibrate. I plan on buying another motorbike if I find the right place. But there's really no need to carry around much cash anyway. So thank you, appreciate your time. ✌127996;.

The largest note in that country is a 1,000 bill and you're going to be carrying 100 of them! Soon as you pull out your wallet people will be looking like they want to slug you bro! Man I had 8 1,000 bills in my wallet and I was shuffling between them trying to find two 200 shillings and it was women behind me looking and they looked as if they wanted to bust my head bloody with a beer bottle! 8000 ksh is a lot of money in that country for someone to have on them at one given time! And 100,000 ksh is a fucking fortune don't take that risk. Dude I tired to pay this Tanzania woman in Mombasa 1100 ksh for a job done man she saw that I had 5600 ksh in my wallet she tired to kick me in my nuts and snatch my wallet. Man folks are really struggling in that country and they are desperate as hell to feed themselves and their babies you'll see way more homeless children in CBD in the streets now. Due to the fact parents throw them out to the streets because they can't afford to care for them!

Well actually I wanted to post this for a while, there's nothing unique about this post because other guys reported on this however, I just want to share my experiences. I was always curious about how it'll feel to be dealing with someone who tries to convince you to send them money overseas and what'll be the most successful method to get them to stop. Well fellows curiosity literally killed the cat. Let's start off with the men of Kenya somewhere in the streets of Nairobi you'll meet extremely Kenyan men. Whom got some of the most interesting stories to tell about how successful they are despite the fact they dress and look like bums these guys will follow you to the ends of earth in hopes you'll spend at least 500 bob on them. Unfortunately I made the mistake of giving this one guy my telephone number I got like 6 telephone numbers by the way. Even though I left Kenya months ago even to this day he'll still call my phone internationally (which is extremely expensive for the locals in hopes I can send him some money. Well according to this guy he's a successful investment banker and he has millions in dollars in gold in North Kivu DRC and he needs someone to sell it in the EU or USA. So why do I keep answering this guy phone calls. Number one he's a scammer and number 2 it's only hurting him financially to keep calling me.

On to the women of Kenya geez they all use the same scams there, you fuck them only once for 1000 bob, you move on to the next working girl. And soon as you leave Nairobi they're messaging you through WhatsApp talking about how they miss you and they want to start a family with you and you're the one for them. Any attempt to tell them why'all last encounter was just business they'll get extremely offended. And it gets worse from here. They need you to send them some money to keep there appearance up. How much they're asking for roughly 7. 5 to $50. And trust me these messages won't stop neither these women call back to back from there WhatsApp numbers and sends endless messages. Now I'm going to say this those lies do sounds somewhat convincing only too someone who's green to the game. However, I'm a firm believer that when you leave make sure your wallet leaves that country too. Apparently some guys had to fall for that crap because dude it doesn't matter you meet this lady in a shopping mall, the block or even at a night club they all try the same tactics in order to get to your wallet. These women lie like crazy in order to get some freakin money out of you. And to make matters worse these gals have boyfriend's 95% of the time sometimes dudes put them up to this shit while others are cheating on their boyfriends. These messages stops temporarily and then it comes back. Just a reminder of what goes on there sometimes you have been warned!

The airport is the easiest route to get it done, unfortunately anything is pain in the ass. Now I know that the airport is the best place for cellular service. I understand the cost of living is very high and women are trying to keep the money flowing in, unfortunately that's shameful too. Topics like these needs to be retold or tell different experiences so people will learn. I'm older in my 50's now my mind cannot remain sharp for ever I will fall victim one day it's just the laws of nature.

I'll never walk around a country like this with a large amount of cash don't get me wrong I do it all the time in Sosua but that's different they got the police everywhere and folks are cautious about doing stupid shit in front of them. Nairobi has plenty of ATM's and lots of businesses are card friendly. And speaking of ATM's I the fees are ridiculous small vs up to $30 in the DR! Now they do have muggers and robbers in this country and not only that the police are extremely greedy for money like any other third world country! Expect to be shake down for the police for cash. And expect them to want an unreasonable amount of money from you. And when you pull out your money expect them to want more. If you pull out too much money in front of a hooker expect them to want more money too. I still don't see a reason for excessive cash in this country especially reconsidering how cheap the ATM fees are.

As for safaris I think it's more complicated: in the dry season the animals concentrate near the water sources, in the rainy one, apart from the problems related to the passability of the paths and visibility, finding them can be a serious problem. On the other hand, probably less competition with the girls.

The receptionist at the hotel said to go to Bamburi, but when I went there the lady said they only do accounts with a Kenyan ID. To sign up with a passport I had to go to City Mall. After getting the SIM, the same ladies signed me up for MPesa.

My question to you is after how long not adding credit to my account do I lose my safaricom number? If I lose the number, what happens with my mpesa?

Apart from topping up small amounts from time to time, you can keep your sim alive using their daima service:

I am considering purchasing a one month subscription to Afrointroductions for a 10 day trip in Kenya that I am planning in 6 weeks. I find online dating sites the best way to quickly find the prettiest girl and establish whether I can expect sex on my first date. This approach has worked very well in Thailand (Thaifriendly), the Phillipines (Pinalove and Dateinasia) and the Dominican Republic (hi5). Although I sometimes don't mention money before the date, I have always felt most comfortable if a deal is made ahead of time. In the past, I have used the dating site to make a cash offer, with considerable success. Alternatively, I take the conversation to WhatsApp before I make an offer.

I have been expelled from Dateinasia several times for offering money for sex. A few years ago, I was kicked off of Tinder for making my offers through the site. I recently was kicked off of hi5 for the same reason. I am curious: does anyone know if Afrointroductions tolerates paid members who offer money for sex through their site, or do I have to do this on WhatsApp? I do not really mind being expelled from dating sites, but this can be somewhat disruptive to my plans.

Thanks. MG.

Thanks. MG.I guess it is almost 100% certain you will be expelled. It is soliciting.

I guess it is almost 100% certain you will be expelled. It is soliciting. With all due respect, I can guess just as well as anyone. Have you ever subscribed to Afrointroductions? Do you know of anyone who has? Do you know of anyone who has been expelled?

I could solicit each and every girl with a paid subscription to Thaifriendly and I would.

Not be expelled. It required several years of misbehavior to be kicked off of hi5 and half an hoir to be terminated Tinder. Each site has different tolerances.

I am trying to see if anyone here has experience. I am not interested in guesses.

Many girls are Luo who I'm sure would be happy to accept your plan. Since they are there to sell sex.

Kenya has reasonable hotel prices based upon its country economy. You can take a country like the Dominican Republic (a country I frequent often for business). The hotel rates are ridiculous on top of a 28% tax! There exists a country in the South Pacific I haven't been to in ages called Papua New Guinea the price of lodging is ridiculously crazy! And that country has a serious development issues right along with crime! I think Kenya's hotel rates are reasonable for its prices and far as the guest fees that's associated with them too.

Hi,

Since I have never been to Kenya and I am thinking of going, I would like to know how beautiful the women are compared to other African countries.

In other words what is the scale of comparison (rating) with other African countries about women beauty?

But I would also like to know how easy it is to have sex with a regular and beautiful Kenyan girl in Kenya.

Thanks.
