I was in Manakara for a few days in June 2013. I don't remember it being especially Muslim although I certainly wasn't there for mosques. Chief memory is the bridge to the beach area had semi-collapsed and sitting in one of the restaurants a couple of times enjoying the dreamily post-Apocalyptic view. You could get across on hands and knees and I can't imagine it will get fixed anytime in the next ten years. I had company and was only there to get the train back to Fiana but it was pleasant enough. There was a club round the corner from Hotel Sidi and a French bar round the opposite corner where I'm sure you could get info. No women hanging around though.
Am currently in Diego. Had plans to go to Tulear and Fort Dauphin but Air Mada are crazily expensive (usually a cheaper price at their offices than on the website though) Getting a taxi-brousse from here to Majunga takes up to 48 hours but there are no flights anymore anyway.
Morombe does sound interesting. Anyone been?
Hello guys,
I am planning a trip in summer in the beautiful Madagascar and would like to get your tips. First of all, I am very into taking videos and photos of girls during performance and an, of course, willing to pay more for this particular service. What is your experience on this matter? Will the Malagasy girls allow you to take some personal, non professional, memories of them? (I am referring to a phone movie or something like that.
Are the ladies in Mada usually shaved? Do they accept things like anal, COF, CIM?
Is anyone else interested in going in this time of the year over there? (around June. Juli) I hope I can get in contact with some of you (after my Subscription problem is resolved) .
I promise to come back with full reviews and photos.
Thanks for your answers!

.July. September is frigging cold in Tana! Can be as low as 5 degrees at night. Most of the hotels don't have heaters. Be prepared and bring warm clothes. But its a good time to watch lemours.

I don't really get your answer. Are you trying to say that July is a cold month as well?It should be read as: July until September are cold. Average daily temp about 15 degr see and at night can be down to 5 degr see.
Bring a warm jacket!
.... Are you trying to say that July is a cold month as well?
How old are you? You ever heard about Weather APPs. So just check out for Tana and you will get all the average / low-high Temperture. Rainfall etc. From the last 50 years.
How old are you? You ever heard about Weather APPs. So just check out for Tana and you will get all the average / low-high Temperture. Rainfall etc. From the last 50 years.Wow. How times have changed. Nowadays all knowledge seems to come from APPS (or the internet). Once upon a time we received some education in school. Among that was the information that Madagascar is in the southern hemisphere and thus the seasons are the opposite from those in the northern hemisphere.
Thanks for the answers guys. I still don't get it why some of you try to engage in arguments. I guess we are all hear to get good information about our common hobby. No need to show which one of us is smarter.
Back on topic: is it better to go with cash or will it be just as easy to use a card over there? If cash is the answer should it be euros or dollars?

But questions asked which were discussed here many times before makes people sarcastic about the intelligence of the person asking.
Changing cash is a tedious process. The ATM's for Visa (no Mastercard) give you 400.000 MGA max all in small bills.

I am presently back for one week in Antalaha, after a little week in Sambava and previously another little week in Antalaha.
In Antalaha , you give 20 000 AR for ST or even LT, and the girl does not even look, she is happy. I even had pro proposal for 10 000 AR.
In Sambava, even ST, most girls semi- pro will ask for 30 000 AR. When you give them 20 000 AR they request more. Only freebies will accept 20 000 AR.
I add that I am a guy who needs A/A.I'm in Tamatave now if anybody wants to meet. I meet non pros who are students or have a job. Never paid more than 15000 AR for ST. Same when I was in Majunga but there were less willing girls there.

My two cents.Disagree! What you mean with 5000? 5000 MGA is just 2. - Euro. Nonsense. The exchange process is tidious in Mada's banks. If you been there you should know. If not, don't comment.
And to carry a heap of cash when travelling upcountry is certainly not a smart idea! If you only stay in Tana and lock it into your hotel safe (if there is any) , then its ok. But who wants to stay in Tana only?

Although the process may be tedious in Mada Bank, in BM Bank its quite straight forward. Carry a heap cash is not that big a deal as everyone does it.
You just have to be smart and carry few million in the suitcase, few million in the hand-bag and pocket change for daily expenses. Its not like the locals don't know that foreigners have money.
Also the most best thing to do is change a thousand or 2 in the capital and keep changing every city you go. If looking for safety and.
If looking for convenience change all at once and carry it around.
From the sea few drops are taken out, the sea does not dry out!

Also if one visits Mada for a few weeks. We will not be able to carry 2 kgs extra in the bag?
Rather than criticizing others its better to just offer alternative solutions let the person decide.
Oh BTW I have my trading business in Madagascar. I stay in Mada for 7 months of the year.
What about the others? Was it hard to convince them to let you take photos of them? Did you paid more for them to do that?

You guys make me chuckle.
I only ever bring about $200 in cash, as reserve, and never use it. Haven't changed money in probably 5 years or more. ATMs are found at every bank, some take only MasterCard, some take only Visa, some take both. Can't remember which is which but there are a few different banks and every city / town has a couple of them. You can use your Debit card or your credit card if you are set up to withdraw cash on it with a PIN, but with CC you get charged a percentage fee. Most banks ATMS allow you to withdraw AR 400,000 at a time, but you can put your card back in as many times as you want, up to your own banks daily limit.

I have seen both extremes, some girls love it and really play to the camera and video for a whole fuck session, but more often I have found most girls are shy and don't even want nude photos. At least the types I favor. But most are also pretty naive, I often take a few pics, while they are covered up, then press record video and place the camera down on the desk (having figured out best placement and zoom before hand), and get great videos without them every knowing.

You want to end up in prison? Forget it.
Be careful with photos and video, in Madagascar is illegal. You want to end up in prison? Forget it.Even if it isn't illegal, the police will certainly tell you it is. We all know they are relentless in their efforts at shaking cash out of Vazaha. In the airport (exiting) recently (January) we observed the officers looking at the cellphones of Malagasy girls going through immigration -- the pictures, messages, whatsapp, everything. If they can do that, the idea of doing it to Vahaza is bound to occur to them.
Be careful with photos and video, in Madagascar is illegal. You want to end up in prison? Forget it.Great! 1 post and then talking bullshit.
In December 2014, the National Assembly passed updated anti-trafficking legislationLaw No. 2014-040 broadening the scope of the previous legislation to cover sexual exploitation, labor trafficking, forced labor, forced begging, and debt bondage. Until to date no case reported that anyone got prosecuted for making intimate photos.
Don't compare the situation with the Phillippines, where the Christian Zealots of IJM have their showcases.
And, if you write here something, let it be a proven information.
Hi guys,
Always take pictures and videos of girls with their CONSENT, that's all.
Be discrete and everything will be OK. The best way is to have a clear conversation of what you want with the girls.
Most of time, (maybe with some extra money), the girl will accept if you agree NOT SHOW or SHARE their pictures in a Madagascar.
Just a tip, always think about changing your camera "SD card" after taking those kind of pictures with a blank or "landscape pictures filled with" SD card with to avoid unexpected check of Policemen.
Most of time, they will do an unexpected check just to ask you some money. (sorry but that's the reality).
Just AVOID:
- having sex, or taking sex pics & vids of under 18 girls. It is EXTREMELY forbidden.
- taking pics & vids of girls without consent.
Sorry for my poor english guys, It's not my main language.

Is it common to do the deed right in the bushes? You just see her walking in the bushes and take her right there and then?
Wow. This is heaven for men.
When I am in Tana, I always try to avoid pros. Semi-pros and other never asked for anything upfront and they do not look how much you give to them the next morning. I always prefer LT myself and close to the mongering scene even if Tana is getting more and more dirty.
This one in the picture that I took was in Indra on a Saturday night. She was with her girl friend more dark skinned. Both were available. I thought she was 18 or 19. She told me she was 22.
She was good in bed and very willing to take her own pleasure.
I gave her 40000 ariary when she left. She did not check. Pictures were taken from a low quality smartphone. She was not shy at all about showing her naked body. I avoid to go out at night with expensive phones or cameras there.

My libertine girl, back from her mother's home had called me, just to know, if I was all right. I confessed her, I had a special relationship with a lovable girlfriend I knew since 2012, and that I would tell her the details later.
A few days before I left, I recontacted her, invited her for dinner and night.
She asked me if she could bring her PC.
I said yes. And I had imagined why. And I was right.
You have to know that this girl had been educated in a catholic college, graduated at Baccalaurat with honors, and is presently in second year of University in Tourism.
So exactly the reverse of my "brousse " girl with whom I have fantastic sensual understanding. (without having learnt sex in books or on Internet as she hardly read and write) and who speak only Malagasy, with a very very small understanding in French.
She told me she was eager to know. I told her the whole truth during dinner.
As she is an educated and clever girl, she is a perfect escort.
Then we went to bed for the night. But before that, she had especially dedicated lingerie for my pleasure!
She greeted pics in various position with lingerie (never nude) (cf below).
So after this lingerie fun, she started her PC. To offer us a porno movie which she had downloaded!
I knew she was fond of sex, with porno movie, as she already did one night in 2014.
So we had our session, with a girl in pleasure, penetrated by two guys in all available holes, on the PC movie.
Fantastic libertine girl, eager to please to men with enthusiasm. And bringing her own equipment without any request or special gift!

Another night, I had decided to womanize again.
To have a feeling of licentious atmosphere of Tamatave , La Terrasse is a good place (as well as the food).
I decided one night to have my dinner there.
I always exclude pros who come to eat there.
But sometimes there is a gem.
I was tasting a chocolate mousse, when I saw an attractive Liana, outside the bar, through the corner of one of the outside doors.
She seemed to wait for somebody (probably a vazaha, as I could imagine), she was sometimes telephoning.
After 15 mn. As her appointment seemed to fail, I started to smile to her. She reciprocated. We continued this game a few minutes. Then I showed her to come to my table if she wished. She immediately came in. We started to chat. She was not interested by a chocolate mousse but by an energetic drink:"Dynamic". She told me she was not waiting for anybody. She expected in fact that I asked her to come in!
19, called Nadia, big exciting lips for BBBJ, and thin body as I like.
I finally asked her if she would agree to come to my room. She immediately said yes.
Pics below are selfexplanatory!
She had a juicy pussy.
Shower, BBBJ, DATY. All classical schemes, and a good pop to end it, both happy!
However I decided not to repeat, as there was a fish smell in the room (I opened window) after she left. So question of cleanness of her pussy?

My buddy left back to Europe. I still had planned 3 weeks alone.
In line with what I had decided, I organized my time: one night with my most beloved, one night rest or alternate girl.
Accordingly, below some out of track experiences.
On a Friday night, I went back to Pandora.
None of my usual girls were there.
I finally opted for a couple of girls: Isabelle and Veronique.
We had a nice session.
However I especially appreciated the pleasure Isabelle was taking, and her wet pussy.
Accordingly, we repeated again two other evening (preferring to have her leaving, not for the full night, to sleep more peacefully) . With her, I especially appreciated stand up positions: her, moaning with hands hung on the bed border and me standing up with overall view on my action and her exciting buttocks. We were exactly each other at appropriate level!
More generally, even when they are thin, the back shape of Malagasy girls is more prominent (without being big) than her European counterparts. It excites me much.
So to look at her ass in action is very exciting.
Sorry, she refused nude pics.

My "apsara" having left to visit her mother for a fortnight, I called my most beloved little doll (cf my post).
On Tuesday evening, she came to my Anjara Hotel room and had our first " floating " session in various positions. She was completely mad of pleasure when my little boy was frigging her sensitive parts and falling from time to time in her private juicy hole.
Next day, Wednesday, I suggested, we meet on the beach with her little boy. Now 2. 5 years old, with the same smile than his mother.
After she left him back home, we went back to my room for another evening then night session.
It would be boring for readers to repeat what we did the following nights together.
However, I cannot omit an exceptional evening we had together as we did not used the multiple positions we were accustomed to.
One evening, we were both lazy, laying on the back in bed, our sensitive parts not aroused.
I started to orient her hand on my precious organs. And of course, I came progressively aroused. In the meantime, I started to action her little button and caress her fence. After such mutual excitement, we came closer together. And my stick started to lick her private parts. Always laying lazily along on our back. I started to go in. Her little buttocks started to go up and down, she was moaning with delight. A thigh just going over the other, we continued action always in this lazy position. It excited her more and more, my hand was operating her button and her lips. I do not know how many orgasms she get in this position. But her fluid ejaculated a lot. My tool, my hand, all my balls, my thigh were covered of her juice in a way I never obtained from any girl in my whole life! My tool was rowing as an oar in a pond!
Notwithstanding our difference of age we enjoyed an incredible mutual pleasure. The Chinese Taoïsts are my bedside books, and the more I deepen my sexual experiences, the more I trust their wisdom. My girl finally fall asleep completely exhausted: my yang had been strongly reinforced by swallowing her yin fluid. And I effectively believe that absorbing the yin of multiple girls through mutually enjoyable sessions is paving the way to achieve immortality!
The following week, my buddy and I, went to Foulpointe just for tourism, enjoy the lagoon, the beach and the lobsters.
I did not bring any "pillow" this time, in consideration of my buddy abstinence.
I do not suggest July / August season for tourism on the east coast, as there are often showers on daytime, certain days, and the water is pretty cold for swimming. However, the temperature is pleasant (around 25°).
In Foulpointe, I stayed in Manda Beach as usual. They increased their rates (85 000 AR for double room double occupancy, or 77 500 AR for double room single occupancy, with breakfast).
The point is that they say that now they offer WIFI (a great improvement) but they are most often lying. My buddy (and I) were angry, when we discovered as it appeared on our IPAD that Orange was asking the hotel to add "credit". After lying, the manageress recognized that as there was many clients. WIFI was costly for the hotel and she refrained to add credit on the hotel's Orange account.
Another point is that July / August is not the season for lobsters and camarons, told us Gentil Pecheur restaurant which is best lobster cooking place.
But on the beach: beach boys were proposing lobsters, cooked by them on the beach?? (50 000 AR per kilo - 15 E).
I understood that restaurants are normally buying lobsters per 10 or 12 kg to fishermen, who are fishing beyond the coral barrier. And it is not the fishing season.
But some fishermen, in connection with beach boys keep some lobsters in cage in the lagoon.
Finally I negotiated with Gentil Pecheur their cooking (with coconut sauce) for 10 000 AR per person - 3 E; and sale of the animal by the beach boy at 40 000 AR -12 E -per kilo!! It did not increased much the Price list of standard Menu. And we get our lobsters!

Tam 2.
Next day was Sunday.
My "apsara", who is a student in tourism, told me she was visiting as from Monday her mother for a fortnight in " la brousse" south of Tamatave.
So accordingly, we had a delicious second night together on Sunday evening.
In the meantime, contact was initiated between my buddy and the " boy " recommended by my " apsara".
They soon had "their business" I did not care more.
Through gay Internet networks, my buddy told me there was plenty of available gays in TANA, but quite none in Tamatave. However he succeeded to initiate finally some other contacts. His conclusion is that Tamatave is missing a gay bar, as they seem to exist as in TANA but it is a small hidden world.
By the way, he told me that he had given 20000 AR (6 E) to his bed boy. And even nothing to other he finally get through Internet. They were just asking "taxi money", he gave 5000 AR (1,5 E!) . Happy world for aficionados of this sect (However it will not change my tastes!

I arrived from Paris through Reunion Island to Tamatavewith Air Austral on a Friday, with a buddy who wanted to discover MADA with me as first trip. And so much said on safety problems.
Settled in Hotel Anjara, as for previous trip (70 000 AR = 21 E).
As it was early afternoon, I had time to buy a new SIM card and to exchange cash at my usual changers office, which always offer best rate over Adam et Eve coffee shop.
1 E = 3320 Ariary.
The best news for MADA is that the rate is always weaker at each trip, but prices remain roughly the same (hotels, taxis.) . Also girls' gifts which remain between 30 000 to 50 000 AR depending upon your generosity, girls profile and satisfaction (I. E 9 E to 15 E. And I never talk of gifts with girls well chosen: the maximum you have to endeavor in case of post discussion with badly chosen girl is 50 000 AR).
First dinner at restaurant of Hotel Joffre, but since they change the decoration to "modernize" it, and the waiters no more in dark jacket, the old colonial flavor completely disappeared (80 000 AR for two, I. E 24 E).
Of course, as soon as arrived, I was eager of action. And the best " library" to chose good "books": is Pandora Disco opened only on Friday and Saturday night.
Action does not start before 11.30, time to go after a nap, with night taxi (6000 AR =1,8 E).
Unfortunately, probably because of my previous night in plane, I was not very accurate in my choice. And agreed with a little animal with too attractive smile and shape who litterally shot on me after I spent more than 30 mn to wander here and there.
Usually I never take girls who canvass me. But I was too tired to resist.
Good behavior but with no pleasure. Started to talk to me of her grand mother sickness. Message well understood, she was not with me for what I am only looking for: girl's pleasure. I was fast demobilized and preferred to tell her to go and sleep alone.
Second day, I had to handle an unexpected question!
One week before we leave, my buddy confessed to me that he was not interested by girls but by malagasy boys (I did not know at all how to handle this question, as to see vazahas with local girls is everywhere you go. I had never seen in MADA a vazaha, with a boyfriend!
I read on Internet that homo relationship with a minor below 21 was liable of jail in MADA. But, even when respecting this rule, I did not know how permissive was the local society on this behavior.
I decided to contact a voluptuous libertine I enjoyed last January 2014 (with another girl, and also alone, even looking at porno video during action to be more aroused).
She remembered me quite well, and as it was Saturday, I conveyed her to a meeting in Pandora night club.
She cheered me very much, arrived with a girl friend; then arrived another past night partner with a girlfriend.
I had soon four attractive girls around me, greeting me with fun.
In the meantime, my buddy was in the doldrum, dull in this exciting hetero world, where he could find a male partner. He refused several girls welcome.
I finally told to my libertine girl the problem: he is gay. How to handle!
She confirmed there was no gay club in Tamatave . But there was gay in Quenn's club.
So we went there. A nice transexual guy came to us and my buddy. But he said she confused, he had no interest in transexual, but only in real boys.
Luckily, my libertine told me she knew such a boy and gave me his phone number.
We left Quenn, my buddy and my libertine. And had excellent moments with her moaning and me enjoying her splendid body: thin, long legged, with superb little tits of perfect shape as I like them. She is really an Angkorwat apsara" sculpture! (unfortunately she is too acquainted with Internet: no nude photo of her).

Sambava sl10.
On Sunday, I had a good taxi- Brousse trip back to Sambava.
I had promised to my and°1 Sambava girl to be there for her 21 birthday which was on Monday.
We had a very sweet session on Sunday afternoon. She made a very good BJ with sweet actions on my most sensitive parts.
Then, dinner. But really no good restaurant in Sambava. Went to a restaurant who had been mentioned to me (on the road not far from airport) : Restaurant Capricorne. She found her fish non edible I found my seeôte de zebu, impossible to eat!
Back under the rain and night together.
Monday we spent together birthday date: bed and beach.
This girl was clearly sad to miss education. At a moment she took one of my books and started to read three times the same sentences. She wished I correct her reading (even if did not understand what was written).
I was clearly moved by this girl who would have like to be educated.
She wished and I paid her an Alliance Française course (45 000 AR /13 E).
I told her I wanted my last night alone, to prepare my luggages to AairMad plane. With so few weight allowed (20 kg+ 5 kg).
I believe she understood, we had good time, but my thoughts where. Somewhere else.
And luckily. As on Tuesday morning, I had the surprise to be called by my Antalaha virgin. Who had come to Sambava (with an aunt visit pretext). She wanted to join me at the airport, and wanted to kiss me a last time before I leave Vanila coast.

Antalaha Sl9.
End of Saturday morning, I went to visit her home.
I was received by mother, father and two children around 4 and 8.
My beloved clearly resembled her mother who was around 38/40 years old.
She kindly looked at me and confirmed the promise made by her daughter.
We had a simple, formal conversation, translated by daughter to mother, with father saying nothing, just looking at me with no comment. Nothing was asked to me, no complain or request of money, just interested by my appearance.
My surprise was father. With Muslim head cover.
She had told me, her father was car painter.
As my beloved was clearly Christian, with Christian chain on her breast, later on I asked her about her family religion.
She told me her mother was Christian -and accordingly her- but her mother converted to Islam as she married a Muslim.
I indirectly understood the family story: my beloved was the wished child her mother made when she was around 18/20 as so many girls in Mada, with an attractive man passing by. (Maybe also reason for which this lady wanted to know the first lover of her daughter. To remember her own freedom at same age).
Then when around 30 she wanted to settle a family. She married this Muslim gentleman and since then had children from him.
Until now Christian and Muslims live in good harmony in Mada. Especially, the indo-Pakistani Muslim are owning shops and trade, they are rich and they live and marry between them. Often they are chiites. Their girls are not accessible, but there is enough to do with ethnic Malagasy girls!
But with Saudi Arabia help, Sunnite charities seem in development. And more generally Islam appears in great progress according to all people I talked to. Easy to attract people with some social actions in such a poor and corrupted country. So, all observers living there say: the question is for Mada in 10/20 years from now. What share Islam will have taken in daily way of life? Will girls with mini shorts or skirts continue to decorate the streets. Or will it become a completely different atmosphere?
I spent my last Antalaha night with my girl. Two interesting sessions. But she was still so tight. I started to initiate her to cowboy position, but it was still painful to her.
She told me she would like a new mobile. I gave her accordingly a final gift to buy one correct one (100 000 AR /30 E).

Antalaha sl7.
On Monday, after my morning sea swimming, I had a nap appointment with my nice connection of 2014. Same smile, sweet, nice body (cf. Pics). Now she had ID, so no problem for nap time. However my end with her, her mother. Was not my best souvenir of 2014. So it remained a one shot opportunity, as she did not become wet.
For dinner then night action, my experienced BB orgasmic girl was booked. And we had wonderful time, as I loved her coming. But she had get a cold, so in consideration of my schedule, leaving next Sunday, it became my last night with her.
For Tuesday nap, I wanted to experience the exciting fleshy girl with nice smile I noticed on Sunday afternoon.
In fact she was fantastic: so happy, laughing, enjoying (cf pics) . I could not resist to come in cowboy position, when she excited just the extremity of my little boy. What a remarkable technician of men's pleasure (as usual left in her handbag a 20 000 AR tip: 6 E).
As I was fully booked till end of the week, I could not renew with her. But very good souvenir. When I met her once later in the street, and of course wanted new session with me, as I told her it was impossible, I could not resist to give her an additional tip equivalent to 3 E!
But for Tuesday night time, I wanted to experience my other girl with nice eyes, which phone number collected on Sunday. No problem, she had ID.
I was also sure she was well experienced with men.
Notwithstanding my nap coming, she was so exciting, sweet, wet, both moaning together, loving give and take caresses. That I came again at evening session.
With her I could not stop to be as strong as a stick.
After she left, she sent me a message in the morning: " I adorn you. I spent a wonderful night with you!
So I took the decision to stick to her till my young virgin be free from her exams.
So on Wednesday lunch, we went together to Cap Est. Both came again at nap time.
Both were exhausted and slept as logs!
Dinner: After a Coco chicken at Joyce restaurant, back to bed. Evening night session shorter as we already gave the best of ourselves at nap time.
But after a good sleep, morning session became memorable. I was terribly tough. Both ended in moaning in cowboy position. But she left at 05.30 as she was going to help an aunt to sell garments on the market.
She joined me at 4 pm. We ate ice cream, then went to a mediocre dinner Chez Momo.
Before night session, I thought a lot: to lie, or to tell her the truth (my liaison to come with other). Beforehand, when dining the previous day, I had explained to her, that I was not the kind of vazaha to promise things to girls, then not to implement. I had seen Malagasy girls suffering of trust betrayed.
So I explained to her on the pillow, that before having intercourses with her, I had met a young virgin who wanted me as first lover, but she was in exams till Thursday, but I promised to be her beloved as from Friday.
She appeared clearly sad. She thought about.
But I did her a delightful DATY, I knew she liked. Then she loved me with passion.
In the next morning she reiterated. I was sure she was the kind of girl wanting to have pleasure until all possible limits. She came again in deep abandon.
Ah, what wonderful butts, sex and tits to taste as delights.

Antalaha Sl6.
Taxi Brousse trip was not as nice as on the way to, as I had to wait around noon time more that one hour to have it filled. And I was requested to pay 10000 AR to have a front seat, to avoid to be crowded on the back where they put at least 1/3 passengers more than seats!
I had made a pre- booking, with the thin, small girl from Andapa, I entertained in such bad conditions in Florida hotel, the week before, and who succeed to have me coming notwithstanding bad conditions demotivation.
I took her for the night. No need of ID with night guard- (evening and morning session) but she clearly had no pleasure.
She perfectly understood my disappointment and did not insist next day (no phone calls).
For my Saturday, I had planned a nap session with my first love, (who had ID) who is coming in my arms so willingly. I made a VIH test with a her, in such a way we enjoy better forthcoming actions BB, and to check previous BB actions.
She enjoyed once again. I gave her an appointment for Monday. She perfectly understood I had several girls. But was so greedy of me. She accepted my wills, without complains, even if she would have like to have me full time in bed with her!
It is that evening, I met in the crossroad near my hotel a thin beauty of 19. She told me she had ID. Appointment made for next day: Monday 6 pm.
On that Sunday, after my beach swimming time in the morning, I collected various phone numbers:
- an exciting fleshy girl (not my style usually, but her nice smile excited me).
- another thin girl with nice eyes.
I later put both successively in my bed.
But by 5 pm, I received a strange message from my scheduled 6 pm beauty: " Good evening Sir, I am already missing you!" I confirmed our 6 pm meeting.
She arrived, thin, elegant, with her nice little tits, thin back. All I like.
She spoke surprisingly good French, notwithstanding the fact she seemed late in studies. She told me, she loved French language, hated maths and physics, and her parents changed her in various school, and each time she joined a lower level. Honestly for French, she seemed at baccalaureat level, not 2 years late.
She confirmed she had ID. But in refection. So we had dinner at Cap Est, then at night guard time, brought her to my room.
She was completely wet.
However, she was so tight, I did not succeed to join with condom. And my action was painful to her. Even if she wanted it!
She confessed she was virgin! (and she was not lying: cf other post!
So I took her very smoothly BB.
She had wonderful little tits, with a little Christian chain. The most exciting way to enjoy the spirit of Christianism! (cf pics).
It is clear she did not want to miss the opportunity to be deflorated by a vazaha like me.
And she had taken her decision in a while at a crossroad, when we met no more than two minutes.
Of course there had been no mention of money.
But I consider unfair to enjoy poor girls who spend in nice garments, elegance to please, and give nothing as old professor. I put without a word 30000 AR in her handbag. A defloration of a 19 years old girl for less than 9 EUR!
As she told me she had school exams that very week, so would be free as from Friday.
I fully supported her serious school attitude. And in the forthcoming week we had several sweet talks in the evening. But in the meantime, I did not remain idle!

The first girl is clearly a pro with no pleasure. She perfectly understood, no reiteration.
The second girl is the one I met first at first arrival. My most mature conquest (25). Was clearly addicted to me. Fascinating to see how the face of a girl can change when in pleasure.

Sambava Sl3.
It took less than 90 mn with surprisingly a half empty taxi brousse, to join Sambava, from Antalaha. (5000 AR).
I already made a comparative post about hotels and restaurants in Sambava, compared to Antalaha. So, I settle in an excellent wide room with A / C of Carrefour Hotel (90 000 AR for several days stay).
After a nap, I decided to go hunting around the taxi-brousse station. It was a good idea. Finally, in a lane not far from the station, I crossed a thin Liane, with nice smile, 21.
(cf pics).
She agreed to follow me straight to my room, but was moving in all directions when in room / on bed. I wondered how to calm her. She explained to me that her father passed away when she was 10, and accordingly could not go to school. Notwithstanding the fact she would have clearly loved to learn. She seemed very affected to tell me about this deceased father. In such a way that after we ended our first session, she suddenly had tears on her cheeks. I am quite sure she was thinking at her passed away father. Finding in me a kind of love by substitution. Then she fell again in my arms for a second session. She was very fond that I frigged her clitoris.
Next day, as I was taking my breakfast in the gloriette of Carrefour hotel over the beach, a pleasant girl came to sit under a palm tree waiting for my call. As other mongers mentioned, it is clear that there can be opportunities from the beach in Sambava. But it remains aleatory. As I wanted to refrain in consideration with meeting with previous day girl, I did not take her. And she had no mobile. So I spent a nice afternoon with my girl, bed then brochettes on the beach.
But this girl was for afternoon only, as she had to stay home with family for the night, so I wanted to find a night pillow.
The day before (a Saturday), by 11 pm, I had gone to the supposed best disco of Sambava (les Balladins) , two mn by foot from Carrefour. No comparison with Pandora of Tamatave or even discos of Antalaha: less than 10 people, mostly friends, no girls opportunities. However, out of the disco, in bar area, I targeted a nice barmaid, who agreed to give me her phone number.
When I called her on Sunday, as I knew she was not working, I thought she had understand an evening dinner in the only acceptable restaurant (Mimi resto) . But she did not come (will or misunderstanding. In fact when I met her again at her bar a few days later, I understood she did not want to go with me.).
So my bed remained empty!
On Monday morning, I felt horny. No beach girl! So I went again to taxi. Brousse station and a young chick agreed to follow me. I understood she had just come in town from a 22 km village, where she wished I follow her. It was clearly excluded, so she came to my room.
I confess I discharged immediately, when below me, as it was my mood and I wondered how old she was. Straight from the Bush, I gave her just 10 000 AR + 2000 AR taxi money and she was happy. She tried to call me again with her mobile, but I did not follow.
In the afternoon, I get my " regular" (cf above). After I visit her home, with mother, brother. But no action as she was having beginning of her period!
Next day, Tuesday, was "Womens's day" , so she wished I pay the family chicken (10 000 AR) plus my standard gift (20 000 AR) to which I added generous taxi money (2000 AR).
So I had to hunt again!
So next day, I started by a beach girl. Not exceptional and requiring 30000 AR. No follow up.
Around 5 pm, I decided to walk on the beach: no action, then, as I was on the way to have my dinner at Pizzeria Boule the'or (decent pizzeria, in a restaurant desert in Sambava! I met a couple of girls.
One of the two (19) had exciting tits to me. The second one was also doable.
I invited them to pizza dinner, telling the second one that I would take her for tomorrow night, but the first one for tonight.
Finally in bed the selected girl was soon naked, then loved very much DATY, with nice tits and lips, but not so much straight action, which seemed painful to her.
After 30 mn I delivered my load. I gave her gift of 20000 AR, but she clearly refused: she wanted 30 000 AR. So!
On Wednesday, no action on the beach.
At dinner time, I met as planned the girl and° 2 at Pizzeria, but she was with another girl, a friend. And they were talking together without consideration of my existence. I concluded that girl and° 2 had no appetite for me and went back to bed alone.
Thursday: I planned a new booking with Hotel Hazavola in Antalaha, (the only one decent with A / see in Antalaha) through the boss wife who was in her Sambava hotel (to avoid to talk with receptionist, and to have a reservation from the management).
Finally, I had a last session with the girl and°1 of pizzeria, before going back to Antalaha. Much better for girls opportunities.

Antalaha Sl2 and Hotels.
As the tricky receptionist exasperated me, I decided to have a look to other hotels to move to.
I decided first to stay at Florida Hotel which has one room with old A/C.
Highly disappointed, as expansive for quality (60000 AR) for old A/C, dirty room, smelly towels, awful bathroom.
Moreover that day it rained.
I decided to hire for nap time a small and thin girl from Andapa of 18, with no carte, I met on the beach Promenade.
In fact she did her best to excite me, as I was pretty tired and exasperated by Hazavola receptionist. I finally joined her hole and came, without having a clear idea if she had enjoyed or not in the darkness of this awful room.
So I decided in my mind I would renew in better circumstances.
I decided to join the most expansive place of the city Ocean Momo.
Room with A/C 111 500 AR.
With less amenities than Hazavola: no minibar, no TV, and no water till 10 am in the morning because of city electricity cut ("Délestage") -as in Hazavola- but there with consequence on water supply! So, plenty of water buckets provided.
However, as in Hazevola good Wifi in pleasant big main hall / restaurant.
Another point is that it is pretty isolated from city center, with a dark lane to join the place. But I would have accepted this constraint, if not so expansive for lack of some basic amenities.
By the way, I do not understand vazahas going to Vitasoa Hotel, as the rooms are very basic and mattresses have reputation confirmed to be hard as wood for 40 000 or 45 000 AR. You have excellent rooms with no A/C in Hazavola or Ocean Momo for 60 000 AR.
I spent three nights there in Ocean Momo.
First night I exercised a new girl (20) with mammals not affected by motherhood, but standard shape. She was not shaved and did not seem to enjoy DATY. She was surprised I used condom, and wished BB, I refused. When I told her moreover that I was no more inducing babies (vasectomy) she seemed disappointed. Maybe the kind of girl wishing baby lottery with vazaha?
She came pretty fast over me, then I continued.
We had 2/ 3 night sessions and she came another time.
I succeeded to retain my load till last session, I decided to offer my liquor.
Not a bad experience, even if not exceptional.
Second night I played my vanila worker again, so happy to renew and come in my arms with a charming smile. She loves sex with me. So I enjoy too.
Third night was Friday. I wanted to look at disco action, especially as it seemed there was a special " bachelor night" at Bamboula.
But on the way to, I observed a big music meeting in a city hall where a lot of young people were enjoying a group of singers. I stayed there a while. I observed two girls who might attract me. Finally we started to talk. They wanted to go to a new Disco which is just in the main street, not far from Florida. I decided to accompany them.
As usual in MADA, two other family girls joined us. And when we arrived at Disco, they wished I pay their entry fee. So I did (12 000 AR).
Inside we had drinks, a brother joined. Finally around 15 000 AR more!
One of my targeted two girls looked affectionate to me, we danced.
She seemed to be half Chinese, with attractive long hair.
She looked young, but age unclear.
As we arrived around 09.30 (night activities are early in Antalaha) by 11.45, I expressed the wish to leave and asked the girl if she wanted to follow me. At first she said no, but when I decided to leave effectively she said I want to follow you. Maybe in the meantime talked with other family members, especially an older sister with bad face.
When outside the disco, this older sister came to ask me to pay one more beer and her taxi. (7000 AR).
As no taxi in view, as so seldom by night in Antalaha, we walked in the night to Ocean Momo in the darkness and deserted streets.
As usual, no control at all to go to the bungalow in Ocean Momo.
When the girl was in room, she went to the bathroom, arranged her hair differently, and I finally saw in bright light her face. Now she appeared clearly [CodeWord902] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord902). And she told me she did not want to stay. I fully agreed, but was angry that she had asked to come with me, without any hassle from my part. She did not answer. In the meantime she had looked in detail my room and my belonging. She implored I accompany her to houses, as she was afraid in such deserted place. Angrily I agreed, and walked back with her in the dark lane along the beach, asking her several times with no answer: " but why you said you wanted to go with me, if finally you did not want stay with me, for perfectly agreeable reasons?
When back in my bungalow, I thought that with the rest of the family, especially the sister with bad face, they might invent a kind of blackmail, notwithstanding the fact that I had no relation with the girl I discovered in room clearly [CodeWord902] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord902).
I did not want to find the family next day on the beach near Ocean Momo.
Next morning I decided to leave with taxi Brousse to discover Sambava, in line with my commitment with receptionist lady to stay 3 nights. I paid my bill and leaved.

Antalaha Sl1.
I arrived in Antalaha after a flight to Sambava as Antalaha airport is presently closed.
I took a " special" taxi, I could not share as no other passenger found to Antalaha when waiting for my luggage. Airmad had told me it cost 60/70 000 AR, but the guy announced 100000 AR, I refused and bargained down 80 000 AR.
In fact another much much cheaper optionis to take the taxi (5000 AR from airport) to taxi Brousse station; then to take the taxi Brousse (another cheap 5000 AR or 10000 AR if the two front seats are provided.
As the road between the two cities is excellent: 80 km is around 90 mn.
In fact I wanted to arrive not too late, as it was Sunday afternoon. And had made the wish to find a girl along the beach promenade.
And so it happened!
I settled again in Hazavola Hotel and by 5 pm I was on the beach promenade.
I eliminated some pros, then I saw a girl with a nice smile who was not wild.
She told me she was bachelor and free for the night! As I had get no lunch, I invited her in a new restaurant: Cap Est managed by a Franco- Malagasy couple, very good.
She told me she was working in one of the vanila factories (daily from 6. 30 to 16.30) to sort vanila beans. 25.
Back to hotel, shower and action.
Unfortunately mammals slightly affected by motherhood.
As soon as I started DATY, she started moaning. I penetrated her deep vagina (vanila and vagina have same etymology " vaina" !) She was very deep and my long dick could play easily. After maybe 10 mn in missionary, she turned me back and climaxed over me in a sublime rattle!
I continued my duty more slowly. And maybe after one hour of mutual moaning we both appreciated, I abandoned my load.
But she was such an exciting sex, that I surprised myself how I became hard again to plough and plough again!
Around 04 am, new session. Her will to enjoy excited me much.
The alarm clock was on 05.30 as she had to go to work!
I put 20 000 AR (equivalent 6 USD) in her handbag. She was fully happy with our night.
I told her I would take the initiative to call her. She strongly wished we renew as soon as possible!
But next morning, I wanted to settle the girls matter with that deceitful liar of receptionist (same than 2014!) who made me a story in 2014 the last day.
Personally, I want only girls over 18.
In 2014. It was mainly the "boss" who was on duty, not this jealous liar of receptionist.
So I started to think to change hotel. But not so easy to have same comfort (A/C, Wifi) in Antalaha.
Just as I was leaving, with my luggages ready, after two nights, the boss'wife came to check accounts as it seemed she did daily, her husband launching a new Hazavola Hotel in Sambava.
So I explained my past story to this lady, and she thanked me on infos about her receptionist.
I confirmed her that I always want girls only over 18. She confirmed that it was the rule to respect, as the other high class hotel of Antalaha: Ocean Momo had problems with the police. Accordingly we both fully agreed this policy.

This girl was very good in bed and we had very good time together, even if I wanted also diversify.
TdJ, You did not only a good job by getting regular girls into the sack. Not the pimped bar girls as most mongers are only able to. But you also did write a long report of your encounters, although the timeline is a bit confusing. Great stuff.
On the facts, I agree. I was there a couple of months later. Perhaps will put up my experience with the hotels there soon.
Mada girls are special, but only connoiseurs will find them.
Ohh. I did like the part that you had to open the window because of a strong fishy smell. Gosh. She must a be dripping a lot.
Hi everybody,
I never came about to file the second report about my time in Tulear last year, so some pics say more than thousand words, Mangily I miss you.
Neddy.
Who thinks will contemplate retirement in Madagascar.
BTW this joint is Tata Dzombe... I love that joint.
Hy guys,
I'll be in Madagascar in July for 2-3 weeks, would like to meet up with fellow members and monger together. Feel free to PM me.

So what s the best option? Should I use the exchange service direct in a bank?It is true you get only 400 000 AR (120 EUR) each time you go to ATM. I do not know how many drawing you can do in a single Bank (it depends also of your bank. Both combined).
It is the reason for which personally, I was addict of Travelers checks. But now quite impossible to buy in our countries and quite impossible to exchange in Mada. I do not understand AMEX policy as it was a free treasury for them and well commissioned!
And these little plastic cards are so easy lost. TC were better.
All Banks take Visa cards.
BNI takes Visa and Master.
Personally I have both and try to separate them for case of loss or steal.
I also have cash (hidden in my shoes usually when traveling!) and some in belts.
And (commission included) I observed from my banks that ATM or cash brought the same net exchange.
Money changers have better rates than banks to exchange cash.
But stick to money changer shops because (except when you know the guy) you might be cheated if changing at street changers.
And always count your banknotes (for memory the biggest banknote is 10 000 AR I.E 3 EUR. So even with good belts. To exchange more than 500 EUR transform you into Michelin Bibendum!

. To exchange more than 500 EUR transform you into Michelin Bibendum!Fully agree! There was this guy here a few months ago "NaughtyBoy" who wrote this:
Quote: Obviously I am talking about 5000 USD. Although the process to change cash may be tedious in Mada Bank, in BM Bank its quite straight forward. Carry a heap cash is not that big a deal as everyone does it. You just have to be smart and carry few million in the suitcase, few million in the hand-bag and pocket change for daily expenses. Unquote.
What a bullshit. But perhaps he was just a joker.
Limit your cash on hand to a 2 or 3 day supply. ATMs can be found in most towns we travel.
Limit your cash on hand to a 2 or 3 day supply. ATMs can be found in most towns we travel.Never leave Tana without sufficient Ariary reserves -- even when you will be in a minor town for a couple weeks. Unless you don't mind inevitable inconvenience and bad exchange rate. ATMs in Tulear are off-line a lot, and when they're not, a lot of people are in line. And always bring Euros to Mada; don't bother with dollars. Or with changing a little each day to chase the exchange rate.
Writing here from Antsohihy a mid-level town between Nosy Be and Mahajanga on a bad connection, apologies, does anyone know anything about obtaining a long term visa? Would love to live here long term but flying out every 3 months a hassle, especially having to go all the way to Tana to get a good priced flight usually. Right now the thieves cough cough I mean bureau is asking me for 5 million.

Coverone.Yes that's not easy, at present I am gambian resident. Just shell out 75 euros and your passport and you are done.
In Mada as far as I know you need to apply for a nonrenewable visa Accord dembarquement ou Visa dentre de 72 heures aux fins dobtention de Visa transformable
with that you apply for the Carte de rsident costs below.

Have fun. 5 milion you mean the inofficial fees hehe? NO way I would pay that. There seems to be no category for retired people. But if you find out let me know.
Your best bet are the expats living there, they might have good contacts maybe somebody offers the necessary papers. I know that it is VERY BUEROCRATIC. A swiss friend of mine had to furnish 24 passport pictures.
But let me know if you have detailled information.
Neddy.
In africa with the right contacts any funny stamp and paper can be had for a fee........... like in Kenya the Entry Exit Stamp solution.....hehehe

Coverone.Hi coverOne,
Why not posting some pics of hot girls from Antsohihy? Probable many of amateur girls in Antsohihy!
Enjoy your stay!
Thank to all for information.
I read the lasts 20 pages and I found good advice for my first trip to Madagascar.
I have only 18 days so I just go to the vanilla coast from 25 June to 14 July.
Next year I'll be retired and than I will have more time.
Of course I will post a report with some pictures in July.
In Madagascar there is a new airline company and it is maybe good alternative for air Madagascar.

Interesting new airline. Sad to note that the prices are more or less the same as AirMad if not arriving by AirMad. Otherwise AirMad is substantially cheaper.
Positive is that they got flights connecting Toamasina. Sambava - Diego Suarez without hitting back Tana.
I am sure, as Fench-speaker you will enjoy your trip. 18 days is ok.
Hey guys,
Thanks a bunch, I really would rather put most of that 5 million ariary for the visa they're asking now to other, more pleasurable uses.
Thanks for the info Neddy, do you know what currency those prices you listed are in? P.S. Found this interesting website; http://www.madagascar-embassy.ca/web/article.php?article_id=251&lang=us.
Sorry about the lack of pics guys, but in lieu of them I can offer some good info on Ambanja and Antsohihy.
Ambanja is the closest big city to Nosy Be. I'd estimate there are somewhere between 50 to 70 thousand people living here, many of them beautiful women. It's the capital of cacao production in Madagascar and is surrounded by beautiful organic forests of mixed big trees and cacao. There are a number of really good hotels that can be found on the main street (Route Nationale 6). A good price for an ac room (probably not necessary except during the rainy season from November to April) is 50,000 Ariary. I myself prefer to get a room with a good ceiling fan and moustiquaire and bathroom for 30.000 Ariary. I would not pay more. There are cycle poussys that can be taken anywhere in the city (500 ariary 1 person 1 trip during the day, 1000 ariary same at night, pay more if trip is longer than 10 to 15 minutes) . It's a safe city. There are lots of police and I've never been asked for a bribe or hassled. Just make sure you have your passport or a copy of it on you at all times and they have no reason to give you trouble. The city itself is rather more attractive than other cities I've been to, it seems to have been layed out on a French scheme. There's more of a grid to it, so it's easier to get your bearings. People don't hassle you in my experience. Lack of cyber and WiFi is pretty bad, just get a WiFi box from Orange or Telma and hook it up to your laptop and you'll have a good connection. I can personally recommend Hotel Meridien which is off the main street but not far, and very conveniently located just down the street a 1 minute walk from the hottest place to see and talk to and take to bed the hottest girls in Ambanja, night club Nirvana. Just tell a Poussy (hahaha!) to bring you to Hotel Meridien. Very friendly staff and secure with good amenities on hand. Friday, and especially Saturday and Sunday late nights are the time to be here, so do yourself a favor and spend the weekend in Ambanja if you're passing through. Restaurant Patricia is good clean French Malgache but expensive comparatively, 10-30 thousand ariary per person. Good brochettes and fried fish are on offer around the two different parkages, parkage Mahajanga and parkage Diego. Less of a Bush feel and more of a refined, hot clubbing feel here. People are generally richer here.
Antsohihy is a poor town in between Ambanja and Mahajanga and is a little bit smaller, and much more spread out in a confusing way. It's a different kind of Malagasy who live there and I find them to be pretty gross. There are a number of good hotels with good security (which is needed because the men there are more aggressive than Ambanja, in my experience) and the prices are generally cheaper. There are a number of good little Hotelys where you can get a fat plate of rice and crab or whatever is your local fancy for 4 - 5 thousand Ariary. The women can be prettier in Antsohihy, but really, it's not a big difference, and I wouldn't consider it a big factor, more a matter of taste. One thing to consider is that in my experience the culture of the women matches that of the men in Antsohihy, more aggressive, less refined, really gross in my experience. Sometimes you can find ridiculously hot girls though. Breasts are a big factor in upping the attractiveness of Antsohihy women in my experience. Method of transport here is by gross old Peugeot taxis and the price is 2000 ariary per trip.
OK guys that's it until I get a computer charger for my mac. Lame. Best price I've found from Tana so far is 100 euros (ouch). Might just wait till I get out of the country, but then that means lack of photos to share until then.

There is now a fee for all visas to visit Madagascar. For the last few years, the visa fee for stays of up to 30 days has been waived in an effort to rekindle tourism. That waiver has now expired and there is once again a fee for all visas.
General / tourist visas are available on arrival at the airport and for stays of up to 30 days they cost 80,000 Ariary (or the equivalent in dollars or euros at the prevailing exchange rate – currently about €23 or $25). For visas for stays of 31-60 and 61-90 days, fees remain unchanged at 100,000 AR (€29/$31) and 140,000 AR (€40/$44) respectively.
There is no need to obtain a visa in advance unless you require a special visa – such as for study, work or long-stay (90+ days). If you do decide to get a general visa in advance from your local Malagasy Embassy, the price may be significantly higher. There is no embassy in the UK, so Brits needing to apply in advance for a visa must do so via Paris or Brussels. Note that the 80,000 AR visa fee also applies to cruise passengers and permits them to multiple entries during a period of up to 30 days.

Who is torn between Kenya madagascar and Gambia.
I spent a few days in FD in April. Always been curious as it never gets a mention even on a French website. The guidebooks say it's pretty and it's poor and is falling down. . . That's about it. On the slim chance it was a Shangri-La I got on a plane.
The landscape of mountains and the bay are beautiful but you get the impression it only exists because some poor bastards got shipwrecked there in 1504. If you're looking for swanky restaurants or a vazaha scene, forget it. The 'anglophone' bar on Bradt is long gone and Chez George on Libanona beach is a nice spot but was mostly deserted and closes at 8 pm. Security seems an issue; I changed hotel after being warned by staff and girls not to walk outside it after dark (although I already had done with no problem) and was told to call a taxi from Chez George.
I moved into LE Tournesol which is 100 m up the road from the only bar with customers midweek. Florida. I liked it, but saw the same faces night after night. Other places were empty or closed, and the mine outside town seems to leave a much smaller footprint than I expected. I was there Monday to Friday and things were way busier my last night.
If you have time to burn FD may be worth a visit but it's definitely not a stand alone destination. Glad I went, but five days was plenty.
Drove across to Tulear afterwards and paid 2 for ST in la brousse!
Also visited Diego, Majunga and Morombe which I'll update about soon.

As I'm new on this forum, I would like to greet you all and to thank you for sharing these precious information.
I had been 3 times in Madagascar and I will be back in July and August. I m looking for buddies interested in travelling together and have some good and naughty experiences with nice girls.
Let me share my last trip in Diego Suarez at the beginning of this year.
Diego Suarez is kind of special in Madagascar, this city has a nice atmosphere of liberty as it is supposed to have been libertalia, a city created by pirates during the 17th century. Anyway you can find khat to be sold in the street, people smoking in some places and have sex very easily.
First, I met a local male friend that helped me a lot. I could rent cars from his relatives (20 K to 30 K a day), this was very useful to move any time and to save some money. He also helped me for security, for prices, to find and to translate to the girls (even if I m French) and we had some nice experiences taking one or two girls at the same time together. I noticed that some ladies are willing to do a lot with vahaza but when there is a local guy, sometimes they are more reluctant.
City: You have a main street with fancy bars, restaurant (Rue Colbert). The center for night life is near the expensive hotel called LE grand hotel. Parallel to this street, you have a street (Boulevard Etienne) with a lot of very good local cheap food sold in the street (from 7 pm to morning). Don t be afraid to go to eat there late, I never had troubles.
From 3 pm to 11 pm: The Vahine is the place to be: Big terrasse, Live music, lots of girls, you can buy cigarettes and play their crappy pool if you like. Just reserve the girl you like, 90 % are available, lot of semi pro there. I also liked to go to a place called les arcades during the afternoon, no girls but nice atmosphere, cheap, and a courtyard to relax without noise.
From 9 or 10 pm to 1 / 2 am: The taxi be is just 3 minutes from the Vahine, you ll see everybody migrating there: Live music, nice place and on Thursdays there is a contest of local dance that will turn you on for a long time I guarantee you, pools tables also available. You ll see some very nice girls there but most of them (the more interesting ones) are waiting for you to do the first step.
From 12 pm to morning: You have clubs 10 mn walk from the taxi be, the Nouveau casino is a club and a bar linked together, in club 5 K a drink, free entrance for vahaza and girls, nice dance floor with sexy girls dancing. It would be very difficult to not find company here. Don t hesitate to dance with multiple girls, they are very open minded, it s a lot of fun. Late in the night, you can always find girls in front of the nouveau casino, not the best one. Two other clubs nearby: la boite noire and l'etincelle I think, just cross the street from the grand hotel, but I never went there.
Prices: For a night, between 20 K to 50 K, usually 30 K is nice.
Thanks Tungsten for the update on FD. Rarely anyone travels there. Reason may be the road connection from Tulear is a challenging 2 day trip. And some street gangs were reported on that road. But put a smile on my face if you say you got your encounters in the brousse: that is the real Mada.
FD is on my list for my next trip to the south.
DO: Tulear, been there many times. Its a bit of a wild west town. Many stranded expats living there. A number of decent hotels and restaurants. The few discos are ok for hunting. But once its dark, roads getting deserted and you better watch your back. For me, 2 or 3 nights are ok. Then I move on to Ifaty / Mangily at the beach. If you like to have pied dans l'eau and relax in a beach front cottage, the filles will find you. If not, walk Friday or Saturday to the 2 discos on the main road.
Sea, sun and sex. Nothing else to do.
Great to read about everyone's different and mostly really great experiences. Here in Antsohihy I just got the full on fucked vazaha experience. Got stupid and cheap and saw a nice room for 10,000 ariary, well of course two hooded guys came knocking the door down at 1 AM, I thought I was done for. Found out the hard way that the pepper spray I bought was about as hot as medium spicy thai food, anyways, the guys were pretty well covered up so it probably wouldn't have worked even if it was the real stuff. Got hit two times on the top of the head with a baton and I consider myself very lucky. I thank my lucky blood vessels that so much blood squirted out on the 2nd hit the guy left me and went looking for more valuable things than a bloodied and pissed scared vazaha. The damage: A nice new haircut and stitches and my money and passport stolen. Lucky I cached my cards before going to sleep. Learned a very valuable lesson; don't be cheap in the land that is already cheap. And also, Antsohihy, never again! I think I'm the only vazaha here and it's a poor town so that probably explains a lot. Also I think the hotel was in on it, I was screaming MPangalatra! (Thief!) for what seemed like 3 minutes, of course no body came till after I was pouring blood everywhere. Also since my time with the police today I've learned that Ambanja isn't all roses and flowers either. More dangerous with guns according to them. Pay attention, make sure you know the security where you're staying, and keep a stash of your valuables hidden somewhere! If I could do it all over again I'd just throw my cash all over the room and hide under the bed. Sad, sad times.

I had been 3 times in Madagascar and I will be back in July and August.....Hi!
I'll be in Mada in July as well, maybe we can do some mongering together. PM me!
two hooded guys came knocking the door down at 1 AM, Sad, sad times.Shit men! Lucky at the end no more serious cuts or bruises. But bad enough already.
You didn't sleep with a girl? She could have screamed louder. And try next time to shout: "Afoooo. ". means fire and gets normally more attention.
To use pepper spray can be tricky and even get the attacker more engaged.
Loosing money. Makes one angry but replaceable.
Loosing passport. A tiem consuming mess.
Loosing Tablet or phone. You feel like a blind men.
Loosing credit card. An absolute drama, even worse if together with the phone.
But most scary if you suffer serious body damage. Therefore I would try to move away in a corner and let them get the money. I also have a 2nd card stashed away with the copy of the passport and a simple 30. -$ Nokia with important numbers in it.
Hope you are safe now, mate.

Often the best you can get in Mada. The French woman who bought and took over LE Boeuf was robbed and beaten while closing up the bar earlier this year. Saw her with two black eyes and face a bit swollen. She said the police told this this was unusual for Tulear.

Pay attention, make sure you know the security where you're staying, and keep a stash of your valuables hidden somewhere! If I could do it all over again I'd just throw my cash all over the room and hide under the bed. Sad, sad times.Sorry man 3 posts and already robbed? The most annoying is passport for sure and creditcards. I can only say that in Tulear I felt perfectly safe. I spoke to a lot of expats, Nobody heard of having been robbed. Years ago there was a frenchman shot as he was riding a quad outside Tulear. In fact I took cyclo pousse many times at night in Tulear, but only from Tata Zsombe uphill to Hotel Central in old centre ville, which is indeed deserted at night. I heard of rumours of people having been robbed by cyclo pousse but couldn t verify. I think you have been very unfortunate, and probably the hotel or whatever room you rented somebody was involved for sure. In Mangily I stayed at a bungalow, ,the area was quite open, it was guarded at night, the only thing I ve heard was years ago some armed bandits tried to rob the compressor of a local dive shop. Other than that nothing in terms of crime. An old africa traveller told me some tricks, always hide your cash in the room at least in 3 to 4 spots also passport and cards and smartphone. Security of the room, most doorlocks and doors are really dingy, what you can try if the door opens to inside use the good old plastic doorjam for 2 euros, that shoud keep anybody from entering the room easily, one will definitely go in my travel kit. I never bother with pepper spray, better not resist, let them take some cash you have stashed away, but this sounds like an inside job for me, in Kenya its very common to be robbed by the hotel staff, that's why I never bother using a hotel safe useless. In Gambia a girl stole 300 euros from my room, but my fault I did not hide the money well enough. I also try to travel with as little cash as possible, I rather pull out cash with my visa whenever possible, even if that means bad rate of exchange, ATMs are really everywhere. To be robbed in the room is really unfortunate always take rooms inspect security, Iron bars in front of the windows or at least 1st floor. Usually all hotels lock everything up at night. In Fianarantsoa I can highly recommend the Dragon the Or. Its run by a chinese Kung Fu man. They lock everything up Iron Bars etc. In Tana I used the Relais de Normandie.
Hope you are well.
Neddy.
Who has been robbed a few times mostly by chicas. 2 Laptops 3 Smartphones and about 600 euros in cash, so don't feel bad, its part of the african travel costs to budget for hehe.
Mada I was only stolen a cheap nokia phone and Air Mada still owes me 200 euros, so my cheapest african holiday....

I personally met people get robbed and beaten in nighttime while taking pouzze pouzze. This in 3 cases, both with tourists and residents.
JP.
I've only ever spent a couple of days at a time in Tulear en route to Anakao, Mangily & Morombe and I'm still not sure if I like it. There's a fair bit of hassle from posse posse guys and kids begging but for such an obviously poor place there are some surprisingly good restaurants.
In 2013 I stayed at Plazza Sur and pulled FLs and waitresses from Bo Beach next door but P.S. Is now a boarding house for the Chinese only (although I didn't see any in town) and BB is now La Blu and has pushed out the FLs and the daytime drinkers. La Boeuf is the vazaha watering hole and there are various local semi-outdoor bars along that street. Za Za was still supposedly closed for refurbishment in April but Tam Tam wasn't so busy. I remember watching some old French guys flirting with girls at Boeuf and slapping their arses plus another guy walking into the night with his arm around 3 girls' shoulders and thinking they all seemed pretty happy there. Maybe I should spend a week there.
DO, Last report was meant for you. As a Mtwapa veteran you're more likely to be underwhelmed than spooked in Tulear.
JP -.
I spent one night in Morombe only. Took a pirogue from Mangily as the winds were good; took two days but can take twice as long. We stopped at Andovadoaka to eat which I remember as just a beach and a lot of huts. It was daytime so hard to tell but you'd definitely need to keep busy during the day.
Morombe is two sandy roads. There are a few colonial buildings including La Croix De Sud where I stayed, but can't imagine it was ever a popular posting for ambitious French civil servants. I arranged to take the crew out for drinks so they could show me round but as they were leaving at first light next day they turned up at 6. 30 which was way earlier than I wanted. The only bar that looks like it wouldn't fall down if you leant against it is Eclipse. Has cold beer too. At 7. 30 pm on a Tuesday the streets were rammed with kids just milling around, too poor or too young to drink. The guys called a woman over for me but she told them she was scared of vazaha because we are pale as ghosts! I had mild sunstroke from the trip and walked out at 9. 30 just as a vazaha was walking in. No idea if I missed a great evening, but word would get around very quickly if you stayed a while. I got the TB back to Tulear next day (20 hours) partly because I was running out of time but also because out in la brousse their French isn't that good and my accent completely flummoxed them. There is an ATM there.
In 2013 I stayed at Plazza Sur and pulled FLs and waitresses from Bo Beach next door but P.S. La Boeuf is the vazaha watering hole and there are various local semi-outdoor bars along that street.Since change of ownership at Boeuf, most of the Vazaha clientele has drifted up the street to Camelos.
Sad, sad times.Mmmm well when I leave in a few weeks I shall have spent five months of the last twelve enjoying pussy in North West Mada, I have to leave as I am now reduced to rowing a small toy inflatable tender after having had both outboard engines and the yachts RIB tender stolen, on both occasions they swam some distance to gain access, I slept through the thefts being in a near alcoholic coma after fine nights of partying fortunately the thieves chose not to enter the yachts accommodation, lucky me. Mada is on the lowest rung of per capita income and is the only country where the annual income has been in free-fall for several years so maybe that explains some of the desperation folks will go to. The local expat french have a joke: What did the Malagasy use for lighting before candles? Electricity!
Hi!
I'm still looking for a wingman for the first part of July. I am opened to travel somewhere else on the island if it's worth it.
PM me,

Hi!
I'm still looking for a wingman for the first part of July. I am opened to travel somewhere else on the island if it's worth it.eWhat do you need a 'wingman' for? Is that the way you do it in Pattaya? Just asking'.
What do you need a 'wingman' for? Is that the way you do it in Pattaya? Just asking'.Nope, in Pattaya I did it always alone but in Madagascar I don't know the culture or the way things work. So it would be great to have someone, at least at the start of the trip, to discover the country together.
What do you need a 'wingman' for? Is that the way you do it in Pattaya? Just asking'.Agree.
If you not a men, stay back home behind mama's kitchensink. Its not Pattaya. Its not Angeles.

I am planning for next month to fly to Mada via Pattaya. That seems odd but from Europe I have 450 usd to BKK one way.
The I will book a return ticket from BKK to Tana via Nairobi (Kenya airways) for 920 usd.
So why not directly to Mada? Because from my country no Kenya-airways or air Mad and I want to travel in Asia after Mada. (at Dry season).
I will also get a stop over in Nairobi so I can visit Mombasa again.
I got some friends from Tana using facebook. How? Well I registered to Afro and copy the name of girls into facebook search and bingo.
I am thinking about Tana and ÎLE Sainte-Marie via Taxi Bruss. (no more domestic flight).
I download the new 2016 lonely planet book for Mada from here:
https://kat.cr/lonely-planet-madagascar-travel-guide-8th-edition-2016-pdf-gooner-t12675510.html
I don't get it. Did you open the door or what? Did they break the door or you just open it for them?Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted an update lately, been going through the whole passport drama with it having been stolen and all. To answer your question DonOmar I was yelling "Mpangalatra! For what seemed like 3 minutes and spraying my (what I sadly found to be) medium Thai food spicy pepper spray at the thieves through the window and crack in the door which opened up as they rammed my hotel room door down.
Well, I must say, fine females have been much further than second priority in my mind as of late, although I am heading to Morondava soon, or so it seems, which I'm excited about as it's an area I've no experience with thus far.
Forgot to mention, I met a French expat in Ambanja a few weeks ago, before I was robbed. He had half a hand, and told me that in the almost 2 decades he's been living here he's seen it become more and more dangerous. The young people today are getting more and more crazy. I gave him my fake pepper spray (which at the time I didn't know was fake) because I had an extra. I've been desperately trying to call him ever since but his number's not working.
To anyone thinking of coming here I have some advice. Spend as little time in Tana as possible, it makes India and China seem like the Swiss Alps by comparison. The grade of gasoline they use here is absolutely horrible and I've been coughing terribly since here in Tana getting my new passport. Nosy Be is the safest place with the easiest and finest females on offer, the most beautiful accommodations and amenities. Mahajanga is a nice second, though dry, hot, and not nearly as nice a beach. It's safe from everyone I've talked to. From all of the people and Malagasy I've talked to Tana, Diego, Tamatave, and Tulear are very dangerous, especially for foreigners. In my personal opinion if you stay in an more expensive hotel you with good security you shouldn't have a problem, though I keep hearing bad things about Diego (lots of young kids pretending to be Jamaicans with guns).
I can highly suggest Nosy Be. There you have fine females who have made it their mission in life to please foreigners. It is more expensive for your typical P4P but you certainly get your money's worth in safety and ease. Since tourism is the thing the economy there revolves around police make it a point to protect foreigners. I thought the women in Tamatave were very attractive but from everyone has their own taste and from what I've heard from everyone I've spoken with it's very dangerous, especially at night. I myself was threatened and basically robbed by a cyclo pousse close to nighttime.
I can't thank you guys enough for all your support and kind advice. Keep posting and most importantly, stay safe!

But TigerdeJade recommends highly Tamatave. Can anyone else offer their opinion on the safety of Tamatave? Also, I have read that sex tourism is not tolerated in Nosey Be BECAUSE it is a tourist destination and that the definition there of sex tourism is very wide, vague, and subjective. Can anyone confirms these points?

Just stay in a hotel with decent security and you will have no problem.
In a ST hotel you stay for ST not for LT that s why Coverone got into trouble I guess.
I actually feel safer in Tana than in some parts of the country but that s just me.
As for the explanation about longer stays as you know in Mada everything is possible.

No need for that.
Just stay in a hotel with decent security and you will have no problem. My last trip I was walking in Antalaha beach daytime and a guy was talk to me rude and follow me testing my weakness. I show zero fear as I came from muay Thai background. Still unpleasant experience. As a result I stop walking on Antalaha beach next to hotel Ochean Momo. Other then that daytime Antalaha center is safe.
Anyway in my country I pay triple price on every item compare to Thailand so I am wandering who are the real robberies. This is why I stop this week in Bangkok in my way to Tana to buy some supplies for my 3 month trip in Mada.

Hope to submit "on the ground report" very soon. Neet to understand how thous expats stays in Mada more the 3 months as the visa is limited. Thanks DonOmar. I've heard from everyone that Tana is "unsafe" but from my experience I think it's fine. Just book an "expensive" hotel (80,000 ariary or more per night) and take a look around. If you see other foreigners there chances are you're in a safe hands. I say avoid Tana like the plague because of the pollution. I've been to many third world countries but Tana is the most polluted place I have ever visited. I get sick just breathing the air there, but in your room you should be fine.
As for the batton, maybe it's a good idea, maybe not. For example, I got shaken down by a pousse pousse guy in Tamatave and didn't want to fight. I had no weapon and all of my stuff with me, I just arrived. If I had a batton like you things might've happened differently. But if you're in your room and guys come knocking the door down, if I would be in that situation again I would just put a stack of money on the table and make sure I'd hidden my passport and cards the night before, then either hide under the bed or just go in a corner. I don't think it's worth a fight. You never know what kind of robber you're going to get and what weapons they have. But like Prison Break says just book a hotel with good security. The places I stay at now I make sure they have at least 2 guys watching the place at all times. Also look around and see if you see any other foreigners. That's always a good sign. I got fucked because like Prison Break said I took a ST room for LT, I wasn't even with someone, it just looked like a comfy room, and it was cheaper. I was dumb. If you do your research and shell out a little money (outside of Tana I would say that 50,000 ariary or more can get you a safe hotel) you'll be fine. I keep hearing things about Diego Suarez though, crazy gangsters running around with guns, the type who don't just rob but kill, so if anyone's thinking of Diego maybe do more research first.

Just arrive to Tana from Bangkok. After two weeks in Pattaya. I stay in Raphia hotel for 36000 ariary. Very nice hotel which I stayed 10 years ago at my first trip.
I am sitting with my facebook girl in the hotel Colbert cafe. Very clean and we can see many girls coming into the hotel looking for vahazas?
The airport was a horror. Very inefficient, 3 lines one for visa one for immigration and one for helth card.
I took a 45 euro visa for 3 month. And a taxi from the airport for 40000 ariary to hotel.
Pattaya was great place to buy a new clothes, luggage and so many gift to the girls. As a result I came with 30 gk.
Taking photos? Well I came here for 3 month's with a mini studio. Dslr flash lenses. Name it.
Facebook. I used it to Pattaya to get new friend but most of them from majunga. I had time to rethink my route so instead the vanilla cost again I am going to Majunga nosy be and Diego.
So this is my second day in tana and I am hanging with my FB friend around Colbert hotel. I did not like the center of villa, too pollution but here around Colbert its much better.
To be continue.
The Francophone Sommet is on now with African Nations Tennis starting, plus its cold in Tana. Many, many armed military and police presence everywhere. There are a few in uniform with rifles at front of every good or big hotel 24 hours. Not many sex tourists this time of year, but not many girls either -- the hardcore regular, but provincial girls don't usually visit their relatives in Tana in winter and don't drop in LE Glacier. July is a better time to be in one of the coastal cities.

If you can ignore the beggars, street children. Pollution and lack of street Mongering opportunities maybe you can find a certain charm in Tana.
I do like the food especially the street food the cafes etc. Delicious baguette full of meat will cost around 4000 ariary. Samosa will cost 200. Taxi just 4000.
For daytime mongering Tana is not the place to be maybe clubs etc but now it is so freezing so I stay with my GF in the room.
I bought a ticket to Mahajunga with the best private company named "transport premiere classe tana" office is inside the "Grand Mellis Hotel". I will travel tomorrow as I leave my GF in Tana.
Same weapon will be used again in Majunga. Facebook-as I have 3 stunners already waiting for me there.
....maybe you can find a certain charm in Tana.
For daytime mongering Tana is not the place to be maybe clubs etc but now it is so freezing so I stay with my GF in the room.
.Thats the real charm of Tana. Enjoy.
lack of street Mongering opportunitiesWhat? Lack of what? You say you're in the Grand Mellis? Right outside of this hotel, moment of the Angelus bells at sunset and they're out everywhere. For sheer volume and selection, there is no better place than Tana in this country for 'street mongering opportunities'.

What? Lack of .Lets leave it. The next big thing is majunga full of stunners. Instead of where to find girls we should ask where not to find girls. They everywhere, outperform 10 times Tana poor street girls. Many matiss very exotic and sexy some tall.

First thing you need to know about Majunga is how to get here and how to get out for example to Nosy be. As I have said the best luxury transport is premier class. Cost to Tana is 78 K and to Nosy be is 128 K including two meals. Brand new Minivan.
Good area to start to look for hotel is "Central Hotel" 57 K for non A/C room. Just next to it you can find hotel "Bella Maria" which has rooms for 35 K.
Google map "Central Hotel".
OK you got here and you have a place to stay but what about food? Restaurants are everywhere that's the best thing about, Majunga.
Try restaurant "Karibo maoraise " next to central hotel.
Majunga has 50% sealed roads and 50% dirt roads. This is a city or what? From central hotel to the "Francois alliance" where the girls hang around on the sea side is the more Vhaza place. From There thurug Avenue andriamisara to Marche de Mahabibo is more down town feel more chaotic.
Tuk Tuk will take you every-ware for 1 K but he will stop to pick up more passengers on the route. Sometimes its like a special hire taxi and you can sit by yourself.
Girls? Mongering? Nightlife? That's not trip advisor here.
To be continue.

"Central Hotel" 57 K for non A/C room. Central hotel has non A/C rooms starts from 37 K as well. Various rooms types.
Score supermarket is behind and ask for "Piste Rouge" for renting moto bikes just near.

First thing you need to know about Majunga is how to get here and how to get out. Good area to start to look for hotel is "Central Hotel" 57 K for non A/C room. Just next to it you can find hotel ".The thing you need to know about Mahajunga is that there's nothing to do. Zilch for nightlife. This is a place which might appeal to very old men with limited money. Or else guys who prefer the kind of girls used to getting up at dawn to the sound of the chickens crowing and then going to sleep at nightfall because their shack has no electricity. If you go there expecting something else, then follow the first advice of Donomar and be sure you know how to get out.

This bar has also Miss Taxi Be not just Miss Mettis but the idea is to attract Vhazas. Every night the bar is full of girls including girls in the photos.
At the sea side that you just need to walk and pick you next meal.

On my way.
Hello Seniors,
A lot has been said in the forum about the club at LE glacier, however not much about stay at LE glacier hotel. Is it a good place for foreigners to stay for a night or two? Thanks in advance.
RI have stayed at Hotel Glacier a few times, but this was about five years ago, so my information may be outdated.
Back then the rooms were large and clean, they had a safe, and the beds were OK. The restaurant was terrible, but who cares with so many options in the area. It is a basic hotel, and the "lobby" is little more than a desk in the stairwell.
It is located right on the Avenue de L'Independence, so there can be some noise from the lively street, and you will also be surrounded by beggars and hawkers the moment you step outside the lobby. It is about 30 meters from Glaicier bar, so if that is your preferred hunting ground, the location is perfect.
It is a fine option for a short stay, where you just need a basic room and a bed close to Glacier, but for longer stays I would choose something different.
The main downside is the reputation that come along with the Glacier brand. If you chase pros or semi-pros at Glacier bar or Indra, this will not be a problem. But if you hunt for regulars they will not be impressed by your choice of hotel. And if you are in Tana for business then avoid Hotel Glacier like the plague.
I have stayed at Hotel Glacier a few times, but this was about five years ago, so my information may be outdated..That's nice of you to reply to this guy -- for all the good it would do.
He private messaged me Sunday in Tamatave where he said he was there a whole week and could not get laid! I advised him I was also in Tamatave, and suggested he walk 2 minutes down the street to La Terasse where there would be many girls hanging out dying to meet him. He responded he could not do this and instead sent me his phone number and asked to share the girl I had. A serious, WTF.

I will be visiting Mada in early-mid December for 14 days. The trip is 80% monger, 20% tourism. To avoid excessive travel days and air fees, I'm confining myself to the towns within the vicinity of Tana (<1 day travel from the capital by road). I plan to visit Tamatave and Majunga.
I've seen so many positive reports on Tamatave, and so few negative reports, that the town will receive a visit. Majunga doesn't appear to have such an enthusiastic fan base, but it's in the vicinity of Ankarafantsika NP, and that gives me an excuse to be in the area. Is this Majunga a worthwhile destination? Or should I skip it and reside only in Tana and Tamatave? That's my dilemma, but I'm willing to find out for myself.
However, my question for the forum is this: Am I missing any towns near Tana that might be of interest? For instance, I've seen passing references to Antrisabe, but nothing concrete enough to stand out.
I understand that I'm missing out on Nosy Be, the vanilla coast, and Tulear. However, with my limited time, I'll have to wait for another trip to visit those places.
First thing you need to know about Majunga is how to get here and how to get out for example to Nosy be.......Good info! Thanks. Didn't know that there is a luxury van from Mahjunga to Nosybe. There was a ferry years ago. But the boat did stop service soem 5 years ago. Looking forward to hear your experience of the trip. But assume for the looong way back you take a plane then.
The the other poster: Mahjunga and Tamatave are the 2 decent options if you want to avoid expensive air fares ex Tana. To both destinations its a full day trip (To Tamatvae use Cotisse Bus). 2 weeks is just ok to explore both. But it will take up 4 full days on the road! In your planning try to travel Monday, Tuesday, as those days are slow in the discos.
The girls are different in their characteristics, but both towns worthwhile a weeks stay.
In smaller towns along the road it can be adventure pure, but you may also end up sleeping very alone in a dirty shack.

When I bought my ticket to Nosy-Be at "Premier class" office at Majunga I thought its Pattaya style, door to door from my hotel at Majunga deep into the hot babe bed in Nosy Be. I was wrong.
The destination was only Ambanja town the closest to Nosy-be. I was keeping a previous report posted by ISG member. The trip took 13 hours which the road was not in a good condition entirely.
We had only 2 passengers in the entire luxury VAN. When we arrive I ask the driver to take me to the hotel Meridien.
"I can personally recommend Hotel Meridien which is off the main street but not far, and very conveniently located just down the street a 1 minute walk from the hottest place to see and talk to and take to bed the hottest girls in Ambanja, night club Nirvana."
Unfortunately, a few days ago the hotel was under construction as entire floor was build above my head. This hotel indeed located next to Nirvana.
I decided to check every hotel in town, every dog house every hole. Eventually I found the best: Hotel Hibiscus in the center of town. As always the receptionist will point you to the most expensive room category in the hotel but I was checking hotels before the idiot was even born. So I took an excellent room for 35 K.
The guy told me that this room is available only for 1 night so I said no problem I will move to another room. He said no! The entire rooms in the hotel are booked for 3 days starting tomorrow. Weekend.
WTF? What about club Nirvana? What about fucking the hottest girl in town?
OK I had half day to monger daytime but I also 70% tourist so I took the camera and had to the outstanding sighting at the Sambirano river bridge. While changing lens to my 85 MM I saw a naked woman bathing and potentially masturbating 200 m away. It was so far I didn't took my zoom with me and that was far then my lens reach. Holly shit I took a few photos and decided to get down from the bridge into the river and try to get a BBJ. But the way down was very very far and she was started to get dressed.
To be continued.

Taking photos? Well I came here for 3 month's with a mini studio. Dslr flash lenses. Name it.Hey,
It's great to see a fellow photographer!
Could you share tips on how to secure costly DSLR gear? I have a Nikon D5 and several lenses. Am thinking of getting a Leica Q so as to not terrorize people, since it should look like a cheap compact camera to most. LOL. I want to bring all my gear for nature photography since I want to combine sex with critters. Any thoughts? Would I be better off just taking the Q or, would I regret not having long lenses?
Hello guys,
I am searching for a good, GFE friendly, hotel in Tamatave or Foulpointe with good internet / wifi (mandatory).
Any recommendation?
Thanks,
K.

K.All hotels in Tamatave are Girl-friendly. It would be more difficult to find one with good WiFi.
It depends on your budget as well.
You need to try on the spot.
Don't believe what they tell you if you contact an hotel by email.

Security is not a problem I saw a guy in Nosy-Be with 80-400 VR shooting girls like ducks. The photos that I took in Miss Mettise was shoot in a very dark bar at ISO5000 not to mention that Beach strong backbit require wide Dynamic range.
So, Go with the dream D5!

So, Go with the dream D5!Beautiful shots of hot chicks!
I think Madagascar seems a lot like the Philippines in 2006 when I went and enjoyed some cool chicks for $20 a day. From what I hear from this forum, the girls of Angeles and their amazing attitudes are no more Seems like Madagascar gives me the best combination of cheap chicks with great attitudes, very similar to Angeles at its prime. Would you say this is so?
Funny, I have that lens but think of it as more for birding than girling.
On the D5 I can get surprisingly good results at ISO 51,200 in super-dark nightclubs. I would suspect you could get away with at least 12,800 with the D750. Hope you give it a try and report back.
The guys at the Leica store who of course want to sell me the Q say that photographers have gone to the brokest of countries with the Q without incident. Google Leica Q review to see how addictive this absurdly expensive camera is.
Am quite in suspense about your story with the naked hottie you found bathing. Any luck with her or was she the one that got away?

Don't believe what they tell you if you contact an hotel by email. It is not an issue to find a decent hotel with Wifi in the center Tamatave. In the low season last year, a taxi driver indicated me different options. The hotel that I chose (quite new) with WiFi did not cost me more than 70000 ariary. I had even a flat screen connected to a paid cable network including a few French canals and other.
Just ask any taxi driver located close to taxi brousse terminal when you get there.
I have stayed at Hotel Glacier a few times, but this was about five years ago, so my information may be outdated.
And if you are in Tana for business then avoid Hotel Glacier like the plague.I stopped booking rooms at hotel LE Glacier a few years ago because the owner did not try to renovate the rooms, even if I must admit that the last room I took was bigger than other hotel rooms in the neighborhood for an equivalent price. Still like DonOmar, I would not recommend to stay there for a long period unless you have a tight budget.
What? Lack of what? You say you're in the Grand Mellis? Right outside of this hotel, moment of the Angelus bells at sunset and they're out everywhere. For sheer volume and selection, there is no better place than Tana in this country for 'street mongering opportunities'.Even when it is cold there are still street walkers in Tsaralanana. At night fall, some of them prefer to stay hidden in parts of streets without lights. This make it impossible to know more about their face, body and age.
I assume they do not want their family to know.

I assume they do not want their family to know. Its correct, even till sun rises you can find them, wrapped in thick blankets sitting at house entrances, dozing. But once you walk by they will look at you and if you say: "Bonsoir, dixmiille, fait l amour cherie" The reply may be "ventemille", and she will stand up and follow you, some pearls, some groofties, a lotterie.
But. Most of them don't have an ID to get them into many (but not all) of the hotels.
She was one of them, sitting in front of Sole Hotel and followed me upstairs to my room when I arrived 2:00 morning and left once the sun came up.

Its correct, even till sun rises you can find them, wrapped in thick blankets sitting at house entrances, dozing. Same in Diego, girls are all over next to hotel Valiha opposite Vahinee bar call you "chri Venir". 100 m away is Taxi-Be.
Hotel Valiha offer Air-con rooms with in room WIFI and frig for 40 K. Best deal in town.

Nancy? She looks like an Adriana. Wait, am I going to get sloppy seconds? ;).
Day 17.
It is week end, so Pandora opened.
I wanted to have a new session with Natasha, so I conveyed her to Pandora.
But it seemed there was a kind of partial curfew, as the police was looking for bandits, so taxis avoided to work to avoid any kind of racket. She did not find a taxi to come.
In Pandora, I found my excellent go-between Nancy, and told her I would willingly have another 3 P session with her and another girl.
She brought me a superb cake called Cynthia, with nice tits, only 18, and who revealed to be a very juicy fruit when in action.
Unfortunately, being in DATY with Nancy and intercourse with Cynthia, so juicy. I came too fast. I was probably tired of so much action!
I even did not ask the phone number of this superb Cynthia.
In fact I started to have a girls excess!
I gave to each 30 000 ar (10 E).
Nancy said: " but last time you gave 50 000 ar".
" yes, I answered, but it was Christmas night!
She laughed!
So are easy Malagasy girls without stress!
Hi,
Counting last days for first trip to Madagascar. Read through all messages and choose two main destinations. Toamasina and Antalaha.
About Toamasina see few hotels mentions in the topic. Which one can you suggest with decent security (safety box in room is preferred) and A / see - 20-35 dollars per night.
In Antalaha many recommends Hazovola, Vitasoa, Ocean Momo. Is it necessary to pre-book in advance or can pay upfront, and about in room safety box is all of them have?
And main question, that bothers me a lot, cash or credit card. How do you carry funds? As understand in Antalaha no ATMs or banks, and what about Toamasina.

Hi,
Counting last days for first trip to Madagascar. Read through all messages and choose two main destinations. Hazovola has safety box / no need to pre-book.
Credit card is a way to go. Two of them. Most ATM will allow up to 400 or 500 k.
All towns has ATM!
Flights to sambava need to be booked full 3 weeks in advance this season, there are no roads. (Anthala airport is not active).
Taxi-Brusse needs 2 days in advance to get a seat next to the driver.
Last thing if you can't speak basic french or if you are expecting a non-pro monger-paradise you will be very sorry for coming.
Hazovola has safety box / no need to pre-book.

The flight situation could strand you somewhere.
About ATMs: you cannot trust to rely on them; ATMs go off-line, or else there are many people in line, it could take you all day. Change in Tana (airport rate is usually very good) all that you need before going to other cities.

On flights: if you go to any AirMad office, they may have free seats on before fully booked flights. Specially in "business class" which is just 10% more. And the fare is lower then booking through internet.
Hazvola hotel:
Say Hello, to the room maids. Both like to do additional cleaning of your pipes for as low as 5000 MGA. LOL.

I am already a month in Mada never had any problem never saw a single person in line.
Nobody has credit card so nobody in line!
Make sure you don't redraw more then 400 K otherwise you will see error message and bring Visa. (Other card type may or may not work).
Is it that cheap.
If so my urges would soon find my flying there for these birds.
Seems obnoxiously low damages.
Have fun.
All very correct!

.Its a country with a high jobless rate and an average low income. BUT. For you as tourist, most items and services are not cheap: Flights, decent transport, good hotels. From Europe spending 2 weeks in Mada is more expensive then in Pattaya.
If you can click with the ladies in a language they understand as gentlemen you will get rewarded. If you can attract ladies on your home ground, you also will be able to do so in Mada. But if you only know how to pay a barfine and drag the chick back to your room better don't go to Mada.

My advice is do not come to Madagascar! Its not what it used to be. I am on the ground now and I am here since 2006.
If you like focus on sex go to Mombasa Mtwapa. I am glad I have seen Mada in 2006 when it was a Monger dream Now its over. To many problems and personal safety issues.
Advise well noted.
Appreciate the swift response.
Cheers.

A few words as a new poster and one that speaks very little French. It is not completely true that Madagascar is out of bounds with no French, however it is much easier. In places like Diego and Tamatave there is enough info on this thread to allow even a newbie to find some action. I have found that freelancers are not put off if you cannot communicate well but is can be frustrating. The fact that both of you know why you are there will make it possible. Learn a few words and if you are afraid of being burned pay the rate that people on the board are quoting. You will probably get some that demand more. My suggestion, give them another 10000 and be done with it. It's only 3 euro.
Tamatave hotel - 2 years ago I paid around 75000 at Anjara. Decent location and good security and one of the girls at the desk speaks decent English.
Money. Do as you will but I would not feel comfortable carrying around enough cash for a month or 2. That is a huge stack of bills.
Antallaha. No french and you will probably be bored as hell.
DonOmar. Could you tell me the location of the VIP minibus service in Ambanja? I will be going the opposite direction to you soon and would be interested in a far more comfortable service than taxi brousse even if it is 2 or 3 times the price.
Cheers guys. Hope to post and receive more useful info in the future.

Going to Mada without speaking French is as useless as going to South America without speaking Spanish IMHO.After a month in Mada my conclusion is that very little left to monger which will justify the travelling cost and effort. If you fancy professionals then no major advantage over mainland Africa. And forget the 5 k girls its very rarely happen.
For non pro you need to come with pre arranged phone numbers but many many of them. Girls will tell you that they moved city, they live out of city etc.
Counting the girls I had in the last month means that I should get a refund from Kenya airways.
My route includes Tana Majunga Ambanja Nosybe Diego Ramena Diego Ambanja Majunja Tana. All by road.
The highlights of my non mongering experience was Ramena. One of the world true adventurous place.
I will post soon reports of how to travel from Diego to Tana by road. But for mongering Diego has nothing to offer.
If you insist to visit Mada I would say that you should try tana and some one small town such as Anthalaha.
Tana hotels are not good value but I had manage to find a private colonial house, a villa, so I rent a super room. Forget hotels.
Tana offers a great food, coffee and nightlife so to keep expenses under control is better to pay for a stunner then to keep looking 2006 hot girls. You will not find them even after spending 24 hours in the taxi brusse.
I am back in Tana, finally Hot water, real cappuccino, out of the world cakes and soon I will go out to check the girls.
I will also reveal the best central accommodation that outperform any of the hotel around.
Soon Back to BKK with Kenyan airways. They charge me only 100 k ariary to change the flight dates. That's nothing compering with other airlines. Very good stuff in Tana office. Roger aviation office.

Wow. The reviews for Mada sure turned negative quickly. I agree that travel to and from is expensive and French is the way to go but if you have the time and the money I would give it a try. I do speak enough so that I can at least make contact. Perhaps it truly is nearly impossible without but I just find that hard to believe.
As for mongering, DonOmar I'm not sure what you expected but surely you didn't think you were going to find many stunners for 5 K? I like SEA girls and truly find the Mada girls not especially attractive but there are so many you can't help but find something tasty. As for Diego, you must have very high end tastes if you did not find anything. I am here now and a very cute 22 yr old is coming over in an hour for some fun. Each night and even afternoon if you go to Vahine or sit with a coffee on the street you will see plenty on the make. If it isn't obvious many will approach you so no need to even try. Granted many are too old or not very attractive but a little patience will be rewarded.
As for your trip, I will be doing the reverse from Diego in a few days so would like to hear you travel details as I will be going all by road as well. I'm guessing that with your opinion of the place any reports I make in the future will be of little interest to you but perhaps they will be helpful to others. Sorry you did not enjoy your trip.

Kenya Air: I did try to get an urgent one way back ticket with Robinson Travel after Air France (f*#k them) refused to change dates. They were not very helpful.
Air Seychelles were the most friendly ones with good fares, even one way, and on board a very good service.

The check it in TNR as you check in. In fact in every country. Without this you will not get into flight to BKK.

Golfino, Amadeus and Donomar are all seasoned Madagascar vets so my views as a 2 time visitor may let some newcomers see things fro a newbie perspective. I won't bother with the expense and language issues. They have been done already.
I have spent 10 days in Diego and have to say I had a good if not great time. I never knew the non pro days (if there is truly such a thing, enough said) he sadly recalls but after my time there and seeing what is on offer I would return. There are heaps of freelancers and as I said earlier most are not to my taste but you cannot help but find something decent after a couple of days, as I did. Sweet 22 year old, no kids GFE to the max right down to I love you and tears when we part. Not really my thing but hey better than some cold heart. She has lost her "patron" and is trying hard to find another. We communicated in a mix of mostly forgotten high school French and pidgin English. Granted perhaps I got lucky but there were plenty more very tasty girls around if you wait and watch. DonOmar says it's over. I say give it a try. I know what it is like to see the heyday gone and am pissed off every time I visit the PI and knew what it was like in the 80's and 90's. Same as Cambodia for the 90's and 2000's and Thailand for the 70's and 80's. Gone and never to return. But if you have never been to Mada before, don't mind pros for a great price and have a bit (OK a lot!) of patience try it. Pattaya or AC it's not. If that is what you are used to don't bother. It's like new guys going to AC, they think it's wonderful, never having known the true paradise it was in the 80's.
If you are up for an adventure and new horizons it might be for you. On the other hand as Amadeus believes, maybe I should be discouraging people from coming so they don't fuck it up even further! Best words of advice, don't come for 2 weeks. You need time and patience.

If I may add something from a different point of view.
I reside in South Africa have never been to Mada but read the posts with interest.
One factor in my opinion is that each of you commenting is that you yourself have aged by ten years, this could also be a reason for not being as successful in pulling non pros as you used to.
I am in my fifties and am experiencing this in SA or in any African country I visit.
Great reports.

I was in Nosy Be absolutely no Problem to change in the street near market. The rate was better than in Tana in the Bank - because they don't pay what's written on the board - they will take a commission: about 5%!

Hello everybody,
I am looking for the best way to go to Sambava Antahala from Tana Tamatave during the dry season September October.
3 choices?
1/ by air: the plane is too expensive, unreliable and uninteresting (Tana sambava 450 euros).
2/ by car:4 X 4 is great. We can stop when we want, already took hitchhikers last year (see photo) ! (already experienced it last year on RN7 salary Manakara tamatave) but it costs too. Also expensive with 4 x 4 (40 Euros) petrol, hotel. Unless that anyone interested to share travel and expenses? Does someone have any experience on that trip?
3/ by SEA: Someone gave me an hint and told me that it is possible to go by sea Tamatave Sambava or Antahala. Does someone already experience it? Which company? Where to book? Duration? Price?
Thanks beforehand.

Duration? Price?
1) Tamatave. Sambava: AirMad has a flight stopping in Maroansetra. I did book last year at the Tamatave office for 190 EU in Biz Class. Eco would be 180 Eu, but was full. Its difficult to find the schedule on their webpage.
2) Tamatave to Sambava by car not possible. The "road" ends in Maroansetra. From there a 3 day trek to Anthala and then on by car again.
3) No vessel on a schedule. Only to Ile St Marie. You can try to ask around in Tamatave harbour to be a passenger on a small freighter. But be prepared for a tough ride.

Hello again,
Yes by road it is the best way to find "friends", perhaps it is possible to make friend with hostesses on plane!
Another example of what we can find on the road!
But the goal of my next trip is also to "visit" Antahala, Andapa, Sambava and Brousse girls.
Anybody there on September October? I am french, useless to say cause everybody has notice my poor English.
Thanks again.

.Did you ever go by taxi brousse those long distances squeezed in between farmers, chicken and bags of charcoal. ?
Amilobe. Vohemar: that trip takes at least 12 hours and if theres rain, it may take 2 or 3 days, stuck at a broken bridge or a mud pad in the middle of nowhere. Be prepared!
Here the official webiste for prices and taxi brousse durations: http://www.edbm.gov.mg/fr/Informations-economiques/Couts-des-facteurs/Transport-urbain-et-interurbain.
If you want to have a rough ride, go to Diego within 2 days. Explore Diego and fly from there to Sambava. Tickets bought in Diego should not be more then 150 EU one way.
Can anyone suggest trusted company or privet driver to travel from Tana to Toamasina?

Can anyone suggest trusted company or privet driver to travel from Tana to Toamasina?Look out for one of the many white NGO-girls, for excample working for MercyShip. They ride very new posh 4 WD, and driving as they like all over Mada, paid by innocent Good doers hoping to help poor Malgaches.
Or, go the the taxi brousse terminal for Tamatave and look for Bus Cotisse: a reliable company, Mercedes buses, seat reservation, no overload, Wifi on board, smooth riding.

and look for Bus Cotisse: a reliable company, Mercedes buses, seat reservation, no overload, Wifi on board, smooth riding. There are actually two type of class of service the regular and the VIP. VIP fare are even more expensive then premier class but also offer 7 persons in A/C minivan. Premier class does the route from mellis hotel in Tana to Tamatave and offers coffee and lunch.
Madagascar is not a pleasant country to visit and one of the contributors for that is the extreme poverty that you see everywhere, so its very recommended to "hide" in a luxury VAN till you get to your hotel.
Setting on the Mekong river now in Thailand I do not want to remember the trip I did from Tana to Diego by road especially the horrible Taxi brusse from Diego to Ambanja and Ambanja to Majunga. Mada completely lack of any sealed roads but Tana-Majunja. You can ask yourself where is all the money from tourism goes? Yes the country is being hijack each election by criminals that refuse to see the people crawling on the streets.

That's a real mystery LOL no reports photos just questions. Interesting!
Look out for one of the many white NGO-girls, for excample working for MercyShip. They ride very new posh 4 WD, and driving as they like all over Mada.Haha, yeah, but The Mercy Ship has sailed (a couple months' ago). For transit to Tamatave, can hire the white airport taxis. Don't need a 4 WD, SUV as the route is good enough. The taxi brousse place in Tana place is a gigantic, inconvenient traffic jam- avoid. Departing Tamatave, can use Cotisse going to Tana (G. Mellis) as their office in Tamatave is easy to get to- go day before to reserve. Also, many girls hanging around this place- at all hours.
If you want to cover a lot of ground- like every place south and west of Tana- book a car and driver for the duration.

Here for a few days and have to say I enjoyed Diego more. Perhaps it is because in Diego the scene for girls is all about Rue Colbert and the Vahinee club at the bottom. I find the layout of Majunga really confusing as the streets go in all directions and at night I get turned around very easily. I actually stumbled across the Taxi Be last night around 9 by accident looking for another place. I doubt I could ever find It again if I looked but most tuktuk drivers know it. Not especially impressive. 4-5 girls and 3 old expats sitting around. OK Monday so probably a quiet night but I expected a little more than that. Also strolled the promenade and while it is very busy it is mostly families and hicks from the sticks. I doubt I saw more than 3 girls obviously in the game. Also strange that the expat hangouts seem to attract very little in the way of girls, either strolling by or entering the place. Not sure why this is. Will be leaving in 2 days and that will be plenty (4 days here already).
As for travel DO is right about the TB from Diego to Ambanja. Absolute shit road. I got lucky and shared a 4 x 4 with a French couple so only 5. 5 hours and relative comfort but you feel like you have been on a roller coaster. Cost me 40 euro, yes 40 but it was worth it.
As for my next leg. Cotisse from Majunga to Tana by VIP, 80000, then next day Tana to Tamatave 30000. Not VIP but "premium" which just means a few less people. In both cases I have the seat next to the driver. I can recommend these guys. They are far and away the best organized and were able to do both legs from the office in Majunga in a few minutes. Organization like this is pretty damn rare in Mada, about as rare as finding fast internet!
Will post again from Tamatave. I doubt I will have any problems getting laid there unless it has changed a great deal from 2 years ago. Anyone who has been recently that can recommend daytime FL hangouts? That's the one thing I had trouble locating on my last visit.

You can't find it again? This a fundamentally the basic of any traveler trip management, just save location on google map in your phone and add a label which will be "Taxi-Be". Where did you stay how much did you pay.

Never considered saving a location on google maps. Unfortunately the tech wizards at Orange could not get the internet working on my phone anyway but I can live without it. You are right about timing. My problem is that by the time some of these places get going I am probably pissed and thinking more of sleep than wandering around looking for pussy. My fault of course but I am not and never was a late night type of guy. Hence my question about daytime venues in Tamatave. Still hoping for some intel on that.
As for where I am staying, Continental hotel for 70000. It is fine, or as fine as Mada usually gets. Surprisingly only 200 metres from the Ravinala, which took me 3 attempts to find, twice during the day and once at night I finally succeeded yesterday afternoon so will try to stay up late enough to check it out! It is not exactly a well signed place and during the day and I suspect early evening you would not think anything was possibly happening there.
As for transport, yes I bought 2 seats from Ambanja to Majunga but was far more concerned with being killed on the overnight drive. Within the space of 30 minutes we almost went off the road encountering a cow in the middle of it and then roaring up on an ox driven cart that we nearly rearended and missed literally by centimeters. Not for the faint of heart. As for the Majunga Tana trip the VIP has only one seat next to the driver. I suppose that is why fares are so high. The Tana to Tamatave run I have done before and for a 7 hour trip having the seat next to the window in the front is not so bad unless you get the fattest person in the country sitting next to you.

In both cases I have the seat next to the driver.Although for TB this is a must, for private minivan its a bad idea most of the time. The sun will burn your face, no ware to run or hide. I always take the seat behind it.
Let me be clear, Primers class has only two seats in each raw!
Has it not ever occurred to you to: buy 2 seats?Seat next to the driver?
Hi guys,
After working through the last year worth of posts in this thread, I have found some information but still some questions remain for a 50% mongering, 50% relaxing holiday.
From some recent posts about theft and burglary it seems that Mada has become a little less safe. Esp. Tulear does not seem to be that easy to navigate safely (except maybe in taxis after dark and in hotels for 70 k+ MGA).
Nosy Be: the Ambataloaka / Madriokely beach strip; "LE taxi-be", "LE billard" and the "beach bar" seem to be good sarging grounds. Hell-Ville seems to be pretty mixed with impressions.
Tana during the day: "LE glacier", "LE Buffet Jardin" near the Hotel Colbert, avenue de l'Indpendance.
Internet pre-sarging: tonga soa, badoo.
Sim: get a local Orange sim.
HIV risk is significant, but in UK and FR quick-tests can be purchased over the counter for roughly 25 EUR pp.
For travel, bus Cotisse seems to be recommended.
Open issues:
- How to travel from Tana to Nosy Be without the horrendous airfares? How long would that take?
- How to allocate three weeks between Tana, Nosy Be, and traveling / day trips?
- How knowledgeable / useful are the Tana taxi drivers? Do some speak some little English?

A fantastic fishing village 10 km away from Diego. Various activities including trip to Mer the'Emeraude with a boat. The captain came back with 50 kg of fish he got by spearfishing. Amazing experience.
Unfortunately nothing much as far as mongering but few ladies propose massage and extra. Extremely cheap place to stay.
If you download the photos right click- properties. Details you can see the date the photos were taken and more info such as camera type etc.

SoutheasterHello,
In Tamatave, You find Freelances in the evening mainly along the main beach avenue, foch and St Paul area and in the small unpaved streets (lalanpasika) and in strolling around the city at day time with a big smile! And you bring her to foul pointe when you find the right one!
Seat next to the driver?Golfinho is right. 2 things I avoid in Africa like the Plague. Travel at Night. Whenever possible. And to seat next to the driver in first row. The best Spot is second row, which increases survivability in case of frontal crash. Exception Taxi Brousse Truck. Where I travel in the cabin.
And choose the most reliable and comfortable bus service available!

True there are no photos of my "conquests". First I am not currently a paid member and do not have the ability to post them. Second, I don't take pictures of the girls I have taken because I am not interested in it. The last photo I took of a girl was 13 years ago in Vietnam. As for reports, yes my last detailed one was of Diego, which was my favorite spot so far and completely at odds with your own opinion. Nosy Be. Did not like it much but took a drunken girl from the bar next to Belle Vue Hotel for 30,000 and she was OK but difficult to get rid of. I didn't fancy Nosy Be in part because of the number of real "tourists" there and was too lazy to head up to what is supposed to be better hunting at the beach. There did not seem to be as concentrated an area as In Diego where the girls stroll / hangout.
Ambanja. Dusty shithole with nothing to offer except as a waypoint for transport.
Majunga. I did finally get to Taxi Be and after 10 pm or so it starts to liven up. Met a girl who spoke a few words of English and after a THB for me and a coke for her we went to the hotel for an ST. I am not much of an all night fan and had to get up at 5:30 for the trip to Tana next day. I did not see much at the seaside but then again maybe my radar is broken.
As for Tana, got there after dark and stayed at the Sole Hotel. If you like lots of beggars, would be pickpockets and hustlers in dark surroundings in the cold then this is the place for you. Could not wait to leave. The only saving grace was hookers on every corner. Sorry to disappoint but did not partake but if you are looking there can't be a bigger abundance anywhere in the country.
We didn't exactly hear a whole lot out of you your last trip other than to say it's shit and you won't be going back. Your favorite place was Ramena which I agree is a nice spot but in your words a non mongering destination. Aside from photos, what exactly do you expect of me? If anybody wants more specific info I'll be happy to share it if I can. If I don't have a lot to say then I usually say little.

What the. O. Means is that if you don't speak French at all, don't go-or if then only to the big international resorts with a group tour.
Tana to NB = 2 days by taxi brousse plus the ferry to Hellville with waiting another day. Return the same = 6 days. Just consider how much your vacation is worth 6 wasted days?
Perhaps check on routard.com for touristic questions.

But its also seems to me that all the new members seeking help on Mada eventually canceling their intended trip, Trolling. Asking questions that already discussed to dead and more important don't post anything valuable in return. Some also pretend to visit Mada by posting reusing others members posts.
Just arrived in Tana in the night. At immigration they asked about yellow fever vaccination where I checked the "no" box. Was afraid this would cause complications but the health counter lady didn't bother. Buying the via in EUR is easy, they even turned the change in EUR. Was fucking cold at night so I definitely need a warmer pillow this time;.
Not speaking French definitely limits options but a translator app and esp the new ones that can even "read" photos makes the challenges in Tana acceptable so far.
Yes, trading six days vs 400 eur is a tough decision. Likely I'll fly on the return leg.

Google map "Saint-Germain, Rue Est Ravelontsalama, Antananarivo, Madagascar" there is a colonial villa with room that outperform Colbert for a fraction of a price. This room we didn't want to leave.
The name is residence Mareva. The sign is so small that you can easily miss. Look very carefully.
Tana best kept secret period. Its not hotel its a home stay. Very fancy.
Thank me latter.

Wow, was feeling like an alien today. Only after the first steam was blown off, I start to arrive here. LE Jardin near the Colmert was unsuccessful in the early afternoon, but LE Glacier was occupied enough. She was a 24 yo full pro and easy to recognize as such. I liked the way she sat opposite to me with her legs nicely spread in my direction. 45 k plus drink and taxi. She was the first I ever had that was lactating.

Well do, you wanted it so here you go. Admittedly they were definitely pros so probably not be of interest to you but others may find it interesting / useful.
A couple of nights ago I was in La Terasse having a couple of beers and the usual older persistent type sits down across from me even after I try to wave here away. Instead of telling her to fuck off (which needs doing sometimes but I am not good at it!) I ask her to call over a friend sitting at another table I fancied. Pretty and 20-22 I guess. Anyway I buy them both a beer, have another myself and decide it's time to go for a ST. Off we go in a taxi to the hotel. The older one tags along and as I have had happen in the past I figure she is going to wait in the lobby and collect a commission from the younger one for the introduction. Wrong. They both hand over their ID and follow me up the stairs!
Oh-oh. Now what. Do I tell the old one to bugger off and will it fuck up the whole deal? I decide what the hell lets just play it by ear. I haven't had a threesome since K11 days so decide what the hell, go with the flow. As it turned out it was pretty damn good service and a good time was had by all especially me! It was right down to business and after 20 minutes they were out the door and I was left a bit bewildered but with a big smile. No girl on girl, was not expected and was happy to have all the attention on me. Taking a day off and will head down to the beach road tonight for a stroll and see what comes up.

At Prison: Guess this was the LT rate;.
Yesterday I invited a girl that responded on Tonga soa over to the hotel. She was 20 and more of a village girl. We first had soft drinks together but this lead nowhere as we had no common language. To call the situation I said "froid ici ales la chamber?" and she accepted. In the room she sat on the bed and let me kiss, undress, and flip her over. We basically fucked from afternoon till morning and she kept me nicely warm. I even had to stop her and send her home when the gun was completely empty and I really need those two hours of sleep. In the end she asked me. And this explains the behavior to me. If I was looking for a serious relationship. I declined and gifted her 50 k.
. In the end she asked me If I was looking for a serious relationship. I declined and gifted her 50 k.50 k is a very serious relationship, LOL.
Go tomorrow to the AirMad office at Place Independence and buy the ticket there. If you lucky you may get the rate for locals, which would be around 140 EU.Wasn't lucky at air mad. They frankly told me that the local rate is basically 50% but also that I wouldn't get it without residency proof or int'l air mad flight tickets.
As I couldn't stand the child weather in Tana. Which even won over the availability of cheap and willing girls, I jumped into a taxi brousse and just arrived in Nosy Be after a 24 h tour de force. (Will definitely fly back to Tana when it's due.).
On the ferry boat trip from Ankify to Hell-Ville the girl next to me was really afraid of falling out of the boat and into to ocean. She firmly grabbed all three legs until she felt safe enough. She was too heavy built for my type but would nicely have done for a blow job. I should definitely polish my French to get my pipe better polished. Any one having a phrase suggestion for me? Tourlutte?
But in either case I am saved for today as I am now eating opposite the Taxi Be and the street gets fuller.

I don't see how you could have got the local rate anyway without any of those.I did: some flights have business class. A day before departure, none of the 8 seats were taken. The fare is just 10% above the eco fare. I got it for the local price. Yes, lucky.

Still in Tamatave. Thought I would share some info about here and in general. As it was 2 years back the best area I can find for early evening is the beach road area between Neptunes and Gastro Pizza. There is a 1-200 metre stretch of open area cheapo mostly local bars where a few FLs hang out and on weekends especially walk the street and hang around the corner away from the beach. They do not seem to cross the road and slow down in front of you as much as before. Don't know why. This makes it a little more difficult to asses the talent as it is extremely dark in the streets here, as in most of the country. This means if you are really interested you may have to do some strolling of your own to see them up close. Aside from random encounters on the street or at restaurant and bars I have yet to discover a place like Vahinee in DS where there is almost always something hanging around. The closest you will probably find is La Terasse where one or two can usually be found sipping a drink for an hour in hopes of latching on to someone. Evenings there is always 2-10 girls there looking for company. I was told by 1 46 YO (yes 46!) that most of the other French owned bars do not let the girls hang around, hence their presence there.
Food. The above mentioned does good food and at a good price. Try the half roast chicken if you are really hungry or the Plat du Jour. Even if you don't know what it is (non French guys) it is usually good. Both great value at 4 bucks US. La Ficche down the black also does similar food, No FLs and a tad more expensive.
Money. Look for Mauritius Commercial Bank in any city. They allow 600000 withdrawal and accept both Visa and MC. Particularly good if your bank back home dings you for every transaction as does mine.
Flights. Book as soon as you know your date at the office, not online. Considerably cheaper. Fares can jump dramatically in a couple of days. I inquired about a flight to Tulear on August 31 and when I went back Sept 2 it had gone up 25 euros! Don't entrust your flight to last minute deals. Amadeus was indeed lucky. I'm willing to bet it won't happen very often.
Accommodation. Can recommend the Anjara. Big comfortable beds in fairly newly refurnished big rooms with Ac for 70000. As is everywhere I have been TV is shit to the point where you may as well not even have one and WIFI is slow but not bad overnight if you want to download something.
My turn. Anyone got a good recommendation for Tulear and Mangily for hotels and restaurants? Any and all suggestions welcome. Budget 60-80000. As you can probably figure out if it is close to any daytime hangouts that would be a bonus. Cheers gents.

Let me tell you now that antalaha is not a perfect place, we have two days power cut from the morning to 4 pm, all the sity every weekend.
GiRls are easy to get but somtimes hard to get rid of. This is not a joke. Another issue is that the girls look avarage not super sexy and mostly black. The town became more busy then 3 years ago.
W.Hello,
I am going to Antahala sambava in few days. Many girls over there and already also with tonga soa, I would like to change everyday!
Any advice how to get rid of without making any trouble?
Just book by internet the domestic flight, but called Madagascar office in Paris, the lady advice me to check in early! Surbooking?
I will stay in Hazavola hotel at Antahala and Carrefour in Sambava, not all ready book. Do you think I should?
Tigedejade said he had problems with the receptionist of Hazavola about age of the girl and ID card?
As Tigedejade, I am not interested in [CodeWord903] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord903) but as mostly the girl didn t have their ID card, it is a problem if the receptionist wants a ID card? Do you experienced in Hazavola?
Do someone know a Vahaza or a Malagasy who can advice and help if any problem?
I start a little but I will increase my participation to this forum (I am a little shy I am french!
Thank you beforehand.
Andre
Was broken. Didn't find more than one or two service providers on the beach. And each day only one approached me. They seem really, really shy here. Is it due to all the other tourists here? (So many middle aged western couples here, the guys bringing old and to the beach.) But thank god it's Sunday today. Lots of action on the beach, many welcoming smiles, massages being offered.
Other than that of course there is the usual selection of working girls in our near the LE taxi Be. Bit only after ten pm. So not really useful for my rhythm of getting up, getting a morning blowjob, relaxing a bit, getting an afternoon fuck, and have the evening for me and a nice dinner.
I'll explore Hell-Ville tomorrow for daytime options but of course I'd prefer home delivery. LOL.
DonOmar: So close mate! Get on the speedboat to nosy be and lets have a beer and hunt together.

So far the girls at least in Tana and Nosy Be seem to understand a "no" (or non in your case) all fine when they ask about long time, relationship, or going to the disco together. I frankly tell them "maybe I will see you again but I will try other girls first". Though they don't really understand English and I never bothered to Google translate this, they always get the message. Only and still gives me a call once a day (which I neither accept bit reply) but even she wrote herself that she is fine with me having as many girls as I want as long as I only see her again.
Also, you get a reputation real quick. It took less than 48 h and some of the note pushy local males asked me that I seemed to prefer more than one girl a day. "Sure mate, you don't?" Always solves it. LOL.

DonOmar: So close mate! Get on the speedboat to nosy be and lets have a beer and hunt together. The boat service from Pattaya to Nosy be are off now LOL. I was last month in Nosy Be I can advice to rent a motorbike and drive to andilana very nice beach and many food vendors will barbecue fresh fish and rice.
Hallvile is dead nothing at all. To be honest I wasn't so excited about nosy be. Professional place.
The cheapest home hotel is next to Taxi be up the hill from the gym. Its opposite hotel Benjamin. Google map it. The cheapest you can find.
Hello,
...Just book by internet the domestic flight, but called Madagascar office in Paris, the lady advice me to check in early! Surbooking?
Sometimes they cancel the Flight 10 Min before departure.
Madagaskar is very difficult for travelling. Expensive flights and they cancel as they like without warning you in advance!

Madagaskar is very difficult for travelling. Expensive flights No honey for those who travel on budget just pain.
Many places has been degraded as far as girls availability not many places to choose from. Very little sweet memories left.
To be honest I wasn't so excited about nosy be. Professional place.Tanti Chris on Sunday nights in Nossi Be, unless you were too busy experiencing professional place.
As golfinho said: If you want to see Nosy Be's real stunners and at the same time non- / semi-pros then the Tanti Cris is the place to be. Amazing chicks! The cream can compete on an international level (and the others get creamed for very little money scnr). But the question is why you would want to seek the non-pros in the first place (pretty than to get a cheaper bang); they usually create more hassle / heart ache when it's time to dump while the pro doesn't care at all how many chicks you bang a day (or night).
Either way, my radar is up and running again. A power outage forced me on the beach earlier than expected and I got two "massages" today, one in the early afternoon, one right after sunset. The latter service provider already wanted to install herself in my bed. But I was hungry and so she had to go. LOL.
Be reminded that the beach quality of those advertising openly is lower than the Taxi Be quality than the Tanti Cris quality. Bit anyway sufficient for a relaxation by my (possibly more) standards. Just look out for handbags or more-than-5-USD-phones.
Tulear: the action is usually near the sea. There you can find Tam Tam disco, Tata Djambe (more gasy but good fun), bar for expats like the bernique, dromediares (always some pro-semipro during the evening), bouef and quite a few of bars gasy.
In this area there is Amazone hotel (good standards but double your budget), Petaluvier (I don't know the price), Manatane (near the area where leave ferries to Anakao) and few others. Restaurant in the same area: etoile de la mer (honest price and best pizza in town) and LE Blu (very nice place near the sea but quality of food. Up and down).
I usually go in a cheap place near the center named LE palmier: WiFi, good security, English owner. In the city center I surely suggest the restaurant les Jardin: Italian owner but international kitchen, good ambiance.
Mangily: hotel on the beach not expensive Vovotelo, Chez Alex (but there are others). Restaurant: outside the hotels the only one with good standards is Chez Freddy (good food, honest price). It's on a small road (but easy to find) between Chez Alex and the main road (la Route Nationale) where you find the 2 disco-bar: there you can check different and cheap hotels but you are a bit far away from the beach. In this area a good one is Hotel Solidaire; price around 100.000 AR but swimming-pool, WiFi etc etc.
The closest you will probably find is La Terasse where one or two can usually be found sipping a drink for an hour in hopes of latching on to someone..

Saifee hotel is a very good choice.
I don't know the Corsicans resto.
Where is located?

In September 2015 I stayed in "Paletuvier" and all I can say is that the swimming pool is dirty. Apart from this, it was OK but a bit expensive.
As far as Amazone 's restaurant, I ate with my guide and it was good. Of course you must like Indian food. We took chicken and lamb Massala.
It is only my experience.
I am I Tana right now. Nobody is there?
Tomorrow I am going to vanilla coast for 2 weeks. Is there someone going at the same time?
Thanks.

JP and Golfino, thanks for all the information. Looks like I will not be trying Amazone! I will be there in a few days and post a report after I find my way around.

If you like we can have a beer together. I'm in Tulear right now.

Just booked the Saifee. Looks very nice. Thanks for the heads up Golfino. Location looks handy too.
JP will be on the ground Monday if Air Mada doesn't fuck up. Would enjoy a beer or two for sure. We can meet somewhere easy to find, perhaps near my hotel or yours that is if you are still there.

Amazone breakfast in inedible, resto is stifling hot, they lie about the internet working. Their new Bollywood restaurant we avoided. The owner has this hotel and another and the contract to domicile Air Mada customers when flights are cancelled, plus needless to say Indian clientele. Not the place of choice of middle aged French, European guy to relax and enjoy female company for any length of time in Tulear. Just an opinion from experience.
Hello fellow mongers,
I will be in Tulear on the second week October 2016, I will be glad to meet one fellow monger if someone is in the place. Send me message.
Corto Maltese is the restaurant name. Everyone knows it.Ah OK.
I know Corto Maltese.
Best Italian food in town. However from my point of view nothing special but worth a try.
I'm sorry SouthEastern. I'm leaving now to give a try on Mananara and Maroantsetra.
Some recent updates to share?

Ah OK.
I I'm leaving now to give a try on Mananara and Maroantsetra.
Some recent updates to share?Maroantsetra- a village, nothing there you must book a return ticket or you will not be able to come back. The local air-mad office know nothing about flights and they will send you to the airport to get a flight even if they say its full its not.
As there is absolutely nothing in that jungle village you can try Zanzibar 1 and Zanzibar 2 Disco.
How did you find Tulier this time?
Tulear. Good as usual.
I found safety a little better. I was even stopped by police in the nightime (first time in Tulear; it happened several time in Tana, Tamatave and Mahajangha but never before in Tulear). And I found also some chiefs of districts around the town during the nights.
Good fun to pick up a 19th in Tata Djambe at opening hour (9,30 pm) and a Rasta girl of 20th at 6 pm In a bar in that area.
The (in) famous Zaza is closed but still there is enough to do.
Thanks for the advice on Maroantsetra but I think I'll fly just once. The way back I found Melissa express from mananara but they don't make service between the 2 towns and this is a problem. I'll solve it. I hope not by a Taxi brousse.
How was quality and % in Zanzibar 1 and 2? Are they opened all week or just the weekends?

How was quality and % in Zanzibar 1 and 2? Are they opened all week or just the weekends?Zanzibar 1 is in town as 2 is in the way to airport. Night is completely dark as no streetlights so I went early just to see the place but its operates at weekends only.
"LE Coco beach" is the best hotel 70/90 k for a night with restaurant but its a bit out of center and is fully booked with Some tourist NGO, researcher etc. Instead I took a local place in the center of the village for 10 k or so but some Cockroaches. Don't forget it is a jungle. So go to Coco beach.
For Mananara try Volume 5 next to orange shop.

Internet is working so thought do it now. Arrived for my first time a couple days ago. First impressions flat dusty hotter than most places and pretty quiet. Found my way down to the waterfront (so to speak and met a girl in Dromedary which seems to be something like La Terrace in Tamatave. Busy expat bar with FL slowly drifting in around 7-8 PM. She must be somewhat new to the game as she spoke less French than me and I don't speak much! Anyway new or not she was good value, knew what to do and very pleasant. Only difficult part was getting rid of her after the deed. I find that most girls want to hang around, I'm guessing they hope they can turn it into a long term thing until you go.
I recall that La Bouef was apparently like Dromedary (correct?) but was informed by a girl at the cheap Malagasy place next door that it is "vacant". Don't know if that means the place has been abandoned or is up for sale.
I am getting tired of moving around and have 6 more days. Would I be crazy to skip Mangily or is it a must see destination? I even broke down and am flying both ways from Tulear. Could not face 2 more 20 hour taxi brousse trips, especially overnight.
Info. No MCB here.
Southeaster.
LE Bouef is open but nothing special.
From my point of view. Mangily worth a try. It's so closed. Less than 1 hour. ! Sure weekends work better. But this is the same like rest I Tulear.
Tulear just push in Tam Tam and Tata Djambe. You will find your fun.

Hotel Colbert ask 100 euro per night. Don't pay.
Very fancy.
Thank me latter.Uhhh, they wanted more than 100 k AR from me. Maybe I misunderstood something? Anyway, now staying in LE Lotus Bleu (quite rooms, thick blankets for cold nights) with rooms from 60 k AR up.
Haha, the price level in Mada has spoiled me.
Nosy Be reports and a Mada as a non French speaking monger thoughts will follow during the next days.

Uhhh, they wanted more than 100 k AR from me. Maybe I misunderstood something? Yes, I told you to stay home if you can't speak or don't know how to speak.
Many factors effect the price. As a rule do that:
1. Deal directly with the owner not a middle man.
2. don't ask how much.
3. tell your story-You came for a week stay you like Tana but you are very disappointing from you previous hotel.
4. they will show you the lowest grade rooms they have which is on ground floor.
5. smile say nice room but you like to see the upper floor and don't wait for response. Lead them upstairs. They will tell you rooms up are full but its not.
6. after you impress with the best room on top floor the owner will tell you that the price is 85 k.
7. say you can pay 70 k because this is what you pay at "Sole" hotel.
8. take out the money don't wait for response put on the table.
9. you will get the best room in Tana and the owner will be your friend.
Remember is not an hotel!
Its a colonial villa with "home stay" feel. "residence Mareva" this is it. Again you need basic French and some sort of skills.

Advice on negotiation tactic received and understood. Can confirm that this tactic generally works very fine. If you know the price for sth (maybe from prior experience or from asking some other! Local or exist) you really should just do it and afterwards lazily hand over the correct amount. E. g. , when I was using a taxi in Tana, when asking the driver they insisted on 7000, 8000, 10000 AR. But for within city trips without too much uphill travel (seems to affect the price) 4000 or 5000 is a sum they accept without complaints.
However, I disagree with the assertion that one should not go to Mada without being able to speak French. You can still go to Nosy Be and have a hilarious amount of fun. Of course they will overcharge you even more and you won't see the authentic Mada but what the fuck you will still get so many great fucks for (from western point of view) cheap money. And add to that great weather and an amazing scenery.

I disagree with the assertion that one should not go to Mada without being able to speak French. How do you speak? Do you get friends? Do you joke with the locals?
My best experience was my local FB girl from Tana.
Anyway I am thinking about Tolier for my next Trip combined with Mombasa. Almost same price from BKK for both destination.

I admit that I did travel to Cuba but could feel I could not get the sweet hot chicas but only the hardcore prosI am in Vietnam, Holly shit. They don't allow girls into hotel and the girls don't want to get fucked. They think after love will come sex. No love No sex. I am using badoo, Tinder, and Wechat (tell you by GPS who near you so you can chat). Super models for 50 USD per hour or 100 USD per night. No money no honey.
My Tana girls went with me with no complains to the shit hole called "Hotel Raphia" which used by dogs. No word of complain. Did everything including bargaining, Taxis etc. Didn't asked nothing. They We moved to Resident Mareva".
When I left she hot Galaxi S5 and Tons of women fashion clothes I brought from Pattaya. So where in Asia you can find this kind of girls? No-ware.
I 'traveled' in Mada last June. Took Cotisse from Tana to Tamatave, which was recommended on this site. Yes, Cotisse is well organized and offers probably the best overland service. Even so, after some 8 hours or more in a small mini van, cramped for space, and with lots of mountain serpentine which had several passengers vomiting, I was not looking for the same displeasure for the return trip. Took 'business' class back to Tana. 'Business' class because of ampler allowance for luggage (which in the end they didn't seem to check and weigh anyway, as far as I could determine). Because of seemingly permanent rain and because of lack of comfortable options to travel around, I felt I'd better stay in Tamatave and make the most of it for the three week period of my stay then. I am working on a more extensive report.
Now I plan to visit in October, heading, if not too uncomfortable or pricy, for Tamatave, Sambava, Antalaha, and Diego Suarez. I can stand 4-5 hours in minivan maximally. Otherwise I'd prefer air travel. What would be my best itinerary and air prices? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It's been a few months now since my last adventure in the land of love, just want to write down one of my most memorable encounters to give you guys a sense of what are some possibilities:
I came in to Nosy Be, booked a place I thought was on Nosy Be but turned out to be an hour boat ride away on the mainland! Anyways, got a super, duper, paradisaical place. Traditional Malagasy home with all the comforts, tea / coffee / whatever was my pleasure served in the morning, local arrange (fruits soaking in local rum for months) in the afternoons / evenings. The best fish I've yet had in my life, always. In the forest (or at least, what was then the forest. While I was there I saw more than a few plots of great big beautiful forest being chopped down and burnt to plant, of all things, rice. The Malagasy have quite an obsession with it.) Took dips in the sea just in front of the traditional house, water warmer than the Caribbean, warm like a warm bath, and, I kept asking and being told, "no sharks!
Anyways, most memorable encounter came my last night there before I left to explore more of the mainland. The grounds-keeper, a local, kept telling me, every day, for almost 2 weeks in broken French, "hey! Camaraderie! The women! The women are pretty here! Do you want a woman?" And me, not being keen on upsetting my host, and wanting to continue my adventures to the bigger cities minus any potential complications, kept telling him thank you, but no, and definitely again, no. Well, surprise surprise, guess who I see my last evening there but a very beautiful woman dressed exceptionally well for those parts (really in the Bush) just staring at me staring at her from about 100 feet away. She comes down and enters the grounds and is met by the grounds-keeper and I wonder if it is one of his relatives (I had no idea he'd actually arranged for her to come for me). He comes over to my place excitedly but in a whisper, telling me that he's arranged for the woman I've just seen to spend the night with me, but that she will come once it's dark and my host can't see her come into the main grounds and out of the grounds keeper's hut. I tell him again, thank you, and she's really pretty, but no! I didn't want to get in trouble with my host. He tells me OK. But sure enough, once dinner is finished and it is dark, he comes back again, telling me this time "camarade, it's a problem, she cannot stay with me in my small hut and it is too far and dark for her to go back to her home. Can she stay with you?" I'm not very adverse to the idea. I have a big bed and imagine it wouldn't be hard to fall asleep with two on it. So I go over to his little hut and meet this young lady. I check her identity card and find that it's her and not her sisters or something and she's just about to turn 19, and take a picture of it too (no chance of any surprises happening later on). So, her and I sneak back to my place. She speaks no French. I speak almost no Malagasy. I show her some movies on my laptop (I think she might be very interested in them, she lives after all, in what appears to be a place with almost medieval-level technology). I ask her after a few minutes if she's tired. She says no. I tell her I am. I turn out the lights. We put up the mosquito net. And both lie down on the bed. She seems discontent. She tosses and turns. I can't sleep. I turn to her. We look into each other's eyes for what seems like an hour. I haven't forgotten that I'm extremely attracted to her. And I slowly, gently, searching her eyes and her body language for her consent, cuddle with her. She seems more content. We continue to look into each others eyes, now with me staring into her while on top of her, taking care not to squish her. We spend. In each others eyes, some of the most beautiful moments I have ever, if ever, experienced in my life with another human being. We kiss. Slowly at first. And then more passionately. I know now that she has me. I am not going to think about tomorrow. At least not much. I am not thinking about my host. I am not thinking about complications. It's just her, and me, and our eyes, and we meet. I can hardly see her but for her bright eyes. It's pitch black in our hut, and she is almost as dark. We spend hours together just looking into one another's eyes, cuddling, and kissing. Finally, after what seems like 3 hours, I remove her clothes and enter her, and am struck profoundly by how delicate she feels. I have never, ever, experienced a woman who embraced me with her sex so tightly and lovingly. She is tighter than the women who were virgins I had before. I experience the most beautiful moments I have ever experienced together with her. Looking into each other's eyes. Just her and me and our feeling. Unable to speak the same language and yet speaking beyond it. When the very very early morning comes, and it is time for me to take my taxi bus into town (at 3 AM) she walks with me and the groundskeeper whose help I had so adamantly before denied, and now more fervently thanked. She came together with me as a lover. We embraced as two who have fallen in love up until the moment I left. But she has never stopped embracing my heart. I watched a documentary on the desert war, in North Africa during World War II, the war between Rommel and the Commonwealth troops gathered to oppose him, and one of the British soldiers, now in his 90's but very very sharp recalls his visit to Cairo, and his encounter with an enchantingly beautiful prostitute he met there. His recollection of their encounter at first awed me, (I didn't know people in that era were "supposed to be" like that), his honesty impressed me, but more than anything else, at the end of recounting his tale of such a profound romance of just one night spent together with this prostitute he met in Egypt while on rest from the front all those years ago, and a tear rolled down his cheek, at 90 something years old, I too remembered my encounter with this woman in the wilds of Madagascar, far away from home like he, yet, most perfectly at home and in love for that one night. As he said in this documentary I watched, it was an experience that has never left him and still causes him to shed a tear, 70 years later. He touched me profoundly because I recognized myself and my love in his story as well. We are different people, in different eras, in different places, but with exactly the same emotions. It is an experience that will not leave me I think so long as I am alive in this life. And I would not trade it for the world. Anyways, Madagascar is a place of adventure above all. It is Africa, but it is so very uniquely Madagascar. - Walu.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.I haven't tried getting to Anatalaha, Sambava, (SAVA) region myself, but I've heard you can get boats up from Tamatave. If you plan on saving money this seems like the best option, otherwise your other option is an insane amount of taxi broussing from Tamatave to Tana to Diego and from Diego back down to Ambilobe and then across to Vohemar (Ambilobe to Vohemar alone can take up to 3 days when the roads are bad), or spending a lot on planes.
I would suggest skipping Diego if you aren't planning on flying. I don't know if there are boats from SAVA region to there. Only other option besides flying if you're planning on doing Tamatave then up to SAVA region is doing the bad road from Vohemar to Ambilobe and then up to Diego. I went to Diego. I'd heard old French men rave about it, and Malagasy people tell me how ugly the women were. I ended up agreeing with the Malagasy's opinion, mostly. Tamatave and Majunga offer far higher quality with less gold digger mindset. Also I've been hearing more and more how the young guys in Diego are going crazy smoking "jamal" (marijuana) and then going and shooting and robbing foreigners. Apparently, according to Malagasy people, if you smoke Jamal you will go crazy and kill people.
If you're going up to SAVA region from Tamatave you might research taking a stop in Nosy Boroha (ile Sainte Marie, an old pirate island with a supposedly somewhat developed tourism industry) and Maroansetra. But as for the women in those areas I have no idea.
Flying to SAVA best so long as you have onward or return, because flight can be full. Have taken flight Tamatave to Antalaha, private taxi to Sambava, flight to Diego, 4 wd to boat ferry to Nossi Be. Simple easy trip. Isle Ste. Marie laid back, can find girls there or bring your own favorite from Tamatave for a couple days: several hours bus, then an easy ferry.
