Damn, 70 to 80 BD for ST now? That's insane. I was there about a year and a half ago and going very frequently up until then, and the quality of the girls had dropped quite a bit. They were in large quantity but poor quality for the most part. There is fairly limited information on the status of five star hotels. Are they generally green? I see the K Hotel has been consistently reported green but what about the Radisson BLU or Sheraton? Reports on Radisson are fairly old so was wondering if there are any recent experiences to confirm.

The government, in their infinite wisdom seem to want to crack down on the 'vice dens' in Bahrain by stopping booze and entertainment in 3 star hotels starting after Ramadan. This will definitely affect F1 in the Metropolitan hotel and the Windsor hotel round the corner.
However, I don't believe that it will have a big negative effect on general mongering since the Phoenica Hotel, Pars in Juffair and Delmon in Manama are all 4 star properties. Since a lot of general mongering also continues in furnished apartments in Hoora and Juffair, this probably won't be affected either. It will take a great deal more than a dumb law on the part of the government to stamp out prostitution. It will just move around a bit more.
I just feel sorry for the poor sods who own the properties who have been given bugger all notification. Why the government hasn't just clamped down on the venues who they think are misbehaving and ordered them to clean up their act, I don't know. A blanket ban on all the properties does seem a tad draconian. It will affect a number of the hotels along Exhibtion road and possibly put up to 45 three star hotels out of business. Very similar to the ban a number of years ago on the one and two star properties. 28 suffered very badly and a number closed.
So much for the much vaunted 'business friendly' Bahrain. Another nail in that particular coffin.

I have checked the 3 stars hotels on the web and I feel indeed sorry for the Metropolitan hotel (F1 club, pool bar and Indian cabaret).

I'm a little confused as how to accurately tell which hotel is 3 star of 4 star. Is the ranking on say booking.com accurate? It says Mashtan and Gulf Pearl hotel are 4 star but I wouldn't give them more than 3 any day.
My guess is that we closer come to the end of friendly Bahrain. What is the next step?

It is typical of the region that, despite the fact that it would totally cripple the economy in Bahrain, some big-bearded, short-thobed, fundamentalist morons regularly decide that alcohol is 'haram' and decide to try to ban it.
The problem occurs when the more liberal MPs can't speak out and say that it is a totally dumb idea because they would be branded by the morons as 'bad muslims' which they don't want.
This then means that, with regular monotony, the 'ban' gets thrown up to the Shura council (remember this is the one appointed by the King and has a number of shrewd businessmen on it) who then mull over it until it is too late to do anything and decide that it is 'unconstitutional' or 'doesn't allow for other nationalities' (who outnumber the Bahrainis, especially in the workforce) and so contravenes their 'human rights. ' The 'ban' then gets thrown back to the parliament for revision at such a late stage that they can't do anything about it in the current session. And so it starts all over again.
Thank God, that there are more rational minds in the Shura to prevent the multiple morons in the parliament from getting their way. Such as with the ban on expats driving (that actually went up to the king who quashed it), and other mindless proclaimations.
As far as I'm concerned, booze will never be banned in Bahrain, and the hookers will move (if the three star ban is imposed) to four star premises. The apartments that supply harlots will carry on as usual and, apart from a shuffle around, the situation will stay roughly the same.
This is my hope. Sorry for the rant.

I'm on a bit of a mission to provide feedback on as many places as possible while I'm a free man over summer. So tonight I went to Ann's Spa at Al Safir. I had the body scrub and steam and a one hour massage. I was given a pair of shorts that were made of the same material as a tubigrip bandage. They were useless if they were intended to hide my appendage and were soon removed. However, despite the lady being quite flirtatious there was no action at all. I'm not sure if any other girls may play ball or not.

In between the lines, this measure aims to target the so called "vice dens" by the Government.

And they very well know that the causeway which has bumper to bumper traffic every weekend will become a ghost town as well, and with it will go all the money that Saudi / Kuwaiti tourists are pouring into the Bahrain economy.

Thanks to Aroydee I visited the Mirador yesterday, there is no indication from the outside there is a spa there. Go to the 8th floor, then walk up a flight of stairs to the 9th floor. A reasonable number of girls working there, I was given a Thai girl called Mary. Her effort left a lot to be desired really, but you could tell she had the skills, but not the inclination. No towel was used, but when the added value was offered and accepted, then her expertise really came through, and left me very satisfied.
A lot more was on offer if your prepared to pay, no BJ though as she had a brace.

I have been to all of the Thai bars you visited more than 10 times at least, and IMO the best ladies selection goes as follow:
-Rocky's Dinner & Cafe at Ramee Int'l hotel: The selection here is better than the other bars mentioned at any day. But I find the ladies here to be very selective for clientele, specially the good looking one.
-Boomers at Pars hotel: You can find some serious good looking PRC ladies here on the weekends. At any day, Boomers have better selection than the other bars after Rocky's. Some weekends, Boomers beat Rocky's on the ladies selection. But I still can not have some of the good looking ladies. Because their bf want them to see only senior men, unlike me in my late twenties.
-Cosmos at Ramee Int'l hotel: There are only handful of good looking ladies here, but once these are booked / left with customers, the selection becomes relatively average. Better be there early around 8 if you want to catch something.

There are elections on 22 Nov. So the clampdown is linked to this and is for 1 month. Also some of the hotels have been stretching the laws a bit too much, such as using a coffee shop as an entertainments venue. So it's to get the hotels to comply with existing regulations and probably renegotiate fees and cut down on the girl trade in the meantime. A number of venues will need to be renamed as 'lounges'. More info is in the gulf daily news yesterday (17th).
I doubt it will have any long term impact.

I would sugguest that on this trip you take one for your team and discover the Bahrain scean by staying at a business hotel for your work and visiting a Brothotel during the day and see a couple of Russian or morrocan girls and talk to their manager about your next visit arrangement. I have done this before but cancelled my subscription "on I am not Gona do this anymore guilt trigger", so unfortunately I do not have contact information.
LT is not typicaly available without relationships and negutiation due to the lack of true independent girls who freelance and stay in Bahrain. Having said this, you can make an offer for an extended stay to some of the advertised Russian girls and they might take it if you are visiting in the middle of the week and business is slow. For instance having a disco in a coffee shop, or bands playing without going through the proper channels. It was mainly done to appease the Islamic candidates in the elections, and probably a good excuse to increase the licence fees for when the hotels resubmit applications.

I have passed by those type of apartment buildingsI received a request by PM on my experience and building name information from another member. I want to post on the forum for all to benefit. Apartments will have no guarantee as in general the quality and quantity will be more or less on the lower side compared to my hotel experience. So unless you are going to visit someone you have met before and enjoyed their company and you know what you are getting you are taking your chances. This is also more limiting because you do not have a bar / nightclub pick up option.
In summary it is a process of trial and error. I do not have anything positive to report but I will share the process for those who do not know how it goes. You can drive or walk hora, exhibition and less so jufair. You will be approached by business drummers. I guess they either work for the apartment building or get commission for clients. You walk in and chat with bill boy as he show you the room. If you agree to stay you will get to meet their available stock and your millage will for certain varies.

Though if we're talking about the "Furnished Apartment" buildings around wHoora that I am familiar with, those are all really hotels anyway. Nobody lives there except for prostitutes, and the other half of the building is always kept vacant for the clients of those prostitutes. Though I'm aware there are some proper apartment buildings in the old city that also host working girls.
I always really hated the fucking discos. Baisan Suites was a great place before they opened theirs. Most wHoora brohotels / fuckflats will allow you to bring outside girls in but they will treat that outside girl as a prostitute whether she is or not, asking for I'd and demanding that you pay a premium (usually about 10 BD extra) for the privilege of bringing in outside talent. For prostitutes you pick up at Digger's or whatever that won't matter, they're used to it. But for an actual girlfriend this might be insulting or embarrassing.
I brought a Chinese prostitute to the East Coast Hotel next to the Phoenicia Hotel once, they checked her I'd and made me pay 5 or 10 BD to bring her to the room. The East Coast Hotel is a total shithole and overrun with prostitutes. I would be way too embarrassed to bring a real girlfriend there.

Overall, for me at least, Bahrain is a better place for this hobby than Dubai, considering the ease at which you can find places with ladies. Dubai has just gotten too annoying now with hotels going red out of the blue. I think places like Pars hotel / Ramee INT must be green considering they have some of the famous pick up points in Juffair, will check next time.

After some pretty extensive and reasonably expensive research I can wholly recommend either the gulf pearl or the city centre hotels for the absolute quality of massage. Also, as you become a regular you will get looked after.

The first is high cost international agency type that bring girls that advertise in massage republic and allbahrain-escorts websites, they are typically 150-80 BD an hour and 600-200 full night with Russian talent at the top end and Asian talent on the lower.

Merci / AlexCan't confirm as I'm currently out of action due to the wife being present. But two possible reasons. The first due to the issue with licences for 3 and 4 star hotels during December, and more recently due to the death of the king of Saudi and a 40 day period of mourning that has around 26 days to go.
