Yes... I know.... HK is part of China since 1997 but don't they have their own Threads?

Go to Hong Kong. Try 141 sites. Great selection, less bullshit than the mainland.

1. Keep ALL of your valubles locked in your hotel safe. Passport, atms, cash and other. Carry only enough cash for the one night.
I never carry more than 1000 rmb. Usually I only carry 300rmb. No watch or jewelry, and only a very cheap phone.
2. NEVER follow street touts, especially males. Only follow a mommie if you know she is legit.
3. Do NOT follow a girl to her place. Take her to your hotel.

Lay off the newbie. Lemme throw out the initials FKK. I'm sure most of you reading this know what an FKK is, but if you don't would you know which FF to R?

Thats pretty simple. Just do a forum search on fkk and see which country's results dominate. Same applies for 141. Except that we are mixing the results up by mentioning those words here. Also google does miracles once used. Its just the lazyness that I don't understand. Go to a software developer's support forum and ask them how to switch on a computer. The answers might not differ much.

Hello,
In China most internet cafe have centain websites are blocked. I believe it's NOT the the great fire wall of China blocking ISG. The reason, I can login into ISG from certain internet cafes while other places in the same city are ISG is blocked. Therefore, it's individual ISPs, or hotels, or net cafes are doing the blocking.
I tried logging into ISG using unbl0ck.com, africanrabbit.com both work fine. I am able to read ISG. Now, I need some help. When using unbl0ck or africanrabbit or another proxy, I CANNOT login using my account. I am getting an error from ISG something like, "POST REQUEST FROM FOREIGN HOSTS ARE NOT ALLOWED". I need to login to my account to read messages. Can anyone suggest something.
Thanks....

Does anyone know of a way to get on asianfriendfinder.com? I tried some of the links below and if I use www.unbl0ck.com I can't send messages. I tried using www.asiafind.com but that site is blocked now too. Hmmm I have a few opportunities that will be lost if I can't send a message through there. The only way I'm thinking of getting around this is to maybe have my brother send some messages for me to get them my email address. Anyone know of another alternative that I have?
I wrote email to AFF yesterday and today got this response........

I am not a computer guru, but if you use a program like unbl0ck, you cannot access some websites that you have a membership with, due to the website not being able to access your IP address and/or cookie which they use to process your data/account.

Share a tip with you fellas. Here's the new URL (accessible in China) for AFF:
http://chinesefriendfinder.com/
However, a lot of the general population is still unaware of if it's existence so those of you awaiting response from the ladies will have to wait until the new address makes itself known to all.

Not possible unless fully password protected. As long as ereryone can read it their spiders can too. Jackson may possibly be able to stop google if they provide a tool to do so, but not spying search engines who do not want to respect his wish.
Furtermore deleted posts show up in the cached pages for months after they are deleted.

没问题. But can depend on many, many issues. Lastly of course if the viewer has installed any Chinese fonts. It's hit and miss.
For those of you who cannot access Asia Friend Finder (AFF) now, you can use www.chinesefriendfinder.com
If you are a member of AFF you can log on CFF and it is the same site.
Problem is most of the girls on the old AFF who are not on CFF don't know this so they are still 'out in the cold".

This request really is not according to Hoyle but in a way it has to do with the gist of the forum in that I can post photos if someone can help me.
I have stored all my photos on an external hard drive that I now cannot access (please don't flame me for not making a second back up, live and learn).
Do any of my fellow mongers know some place in Shanghai that offers a data recover service? My laptops will not recognize the external drive and when I check 'device manager' it tells me that the external drive must be initialized. Obviously that is not a good option since I would loose all the data.
Anyone can offer suggestions? Post here or PM me. Thanks so much.
ES
ES,
Based on what you have described, I'm not too sure what's exactly the problem
Here are the possible causes
1) Your portable hard disk is corrupted
2) The system lacks the driver to run the portable hard disk
3) The system encounters an error with the hard disk (power related) and automatically shuts it down
4) The connection on the portable hard disk is bad
5) The connection on your laptop is bad
There are a couple of things that you can do before proclaiming 1) is the reason.
I'm assuming that this is a portable hard disk with the USB connection.
If your laptop has been able to plug in other devices on the same USB port, then 5) is definitely out.
Have you tried plugging this portable hard disk on some other machine? If so, do you see the same problem? This can potentially eliminate 4)
The windows operating system sometimes have a funny behavior and shuts down the USB port when it feels like the power needed has been overloaded. You may want to change the settings on that USB port to not shut down on power overload.
If all else fails, then you have a corrupted hard disk. Should try running Windows Diagnostics tools on it...if you cannot even access it, then that's a bigger issue and you have to consider data recovery service.
Hope this helps.

Go to Puxi (don't confuse this with Pussy), Xu Jia Hui, Pacific Digital Plaza, 2nd Floor, up the escalator, U turn when reach second floor, Walk straight till the end, turn left walk 3 meters, there is a Computer Hospital. They will repair Computer Harddisk etc etc....
The price is resonable. Not more than 400RMB
But I can't imagine the looks in the face of the technician when saw what was in the hard disk!!!! :p

Eaglestar, it also could be a virus, I had one of those before and it kept on telling me to format my drive. You could try to plug it into another PC and see what happens.

Sound like you bump your harddisk while it is still spinning. That would have cause a head crash which may leave your harddisk damaged. When you plug it in, does the PC display a "Mass storage Device Found"? Or it just did not show up in the "My Computer" screen? If it is the later... than I am afraid your harddisk control may be shorted. In such case normally you can get a new Harddisk Enclosure for your Harddisk and it should work. But if it is a head crash... good luck... all those wonderful photos may be lost!
Bring it to the Computer Hospital and see what they say. But be careful though.. I had a case when they told me my External HDD and the controller are both burnt. I return, took out the HDD from the Enclosure, open up my PC, plug it directly into my PC, and wala..! I works. So don't thrust them 100%

I was in Shenzen 4 months ago, and you can find stunners (like the good ones in slicers pictures), cuteys and Less. For 80-150RMB either with the touts that wait for YOU around the trainstation (northeast exit), or a little bit more east, there are different places away from the mainstreets, where the girls are waiting and showing themselves. With the right lightning and clothing of course. If you go with the touts, just say you want to see others if you don't like who they show you, takes 3-10 trys to get the ultimate. The girls get 50-100RMB for shorttime, so you know that you can still bargain at 150.
In chongqin and (guangxi de) nanning also, always 80-150rmb short time (room inlcluded, 20-50minutes).
And I mean stunners, so. For details just look in the respective threads. I have no Idea about anything east (in China) of shenzhen, but shenzhen surely and chongqin also are are good places to do the deed with beauty, for a good price.
If there is no good information on the places in Shenzhen (what I doubt), then I might try to paint. Exe something on a map on the net.

Well, you just linked the two user names yourself. Google and other search sites will have this stored somewhere for years and years. Most people don't realize every little details of their life that they leak to the internet a bit at a time can be collected over time and reconstructed. If someone is determined to find something about you on the internet, they will succeed.

I thought about it and I really don't care anymore. The entire internet is an invasion of privacy. No body claims ownership. I looked up my last name and I get some prostitute in Poland , so now there is a cookie out there that says that I love porn. I looked up about the breed of my dog , yes , you guessed it. Now there is a cooking out there that thinks I like animal porn. I must have a "don't give a fuck attitude" and I do.
One of my ex, off and on, again GF in USA said , you did all that shit in China? I said yeap and more. I really don't worry about it anymore.

I was watching Dateline, The title was called, “Bitter Pills”. The subject was on fake pills like Viagra, Cialis, Lipitor, Tamiflu, Celestor, Procrit and other types of drugs. Pfizer said some of the fakes contain stuff like drywall, cement and, dry paint, scary. Has anyone gone almost blind yet? Sounds like they hired some construction guy to make them. Others pills are just filled with only a small percentage of the real chemical formula.
Most of the drugs are from China but some are from other part of the world.

I heard that sometimes the police arrests foreigner as well, and banishes them from China forever.
Is it real? Does anyone have an experience of crack-down?

It's one of the risks of mongering in China, alongside following touts and getting worked over by heavies.
Apparently carrying a passport helps, as I have heard, but really, you do not want to be there when the cops arrive, especially with your pants down.

Do not carry your passport, carry a good photocopy.
Do not carry more cash than you need, and leave your cash and cards in your hotel room safe.
Do not follow touts.
It's better to take the girl to your hotel room, but I will do girls in the bbs. Sometimes it's dirty but fun.
I have never had that "raid" experience. If they are legit cops I would predict they would do nothing more than check your passport copy and send you on your way. If it's a scam, then they will take your money and valubles and send you on your way. If you have an atm card, they might keep you and force you to give them the pin number.
I found a gal through one of the various dating websites. I met her only once and she's a good person, but I guess not too smart. Kept in touch through email. Here is her story. And no, she did not ask for any monetary help from me. I set her straight about what was going on. It just shows there are some real jerks out there.
Once a week I get a scam letter promising a share of millions of dollars, but I've never met anyone to fall for one of these scams.
Snipped from her email:
Very happy to get your comfort words!
It is difficult to start. Actually I'm not sure whether I've cheated up to now! I met a person from Oragon, USA on internet. At first we were in touch use e-mail. Several weeks ago he told me he would go to Nigeria for a court case. He told me he is an orphan (his parents were all dead) and lives with his aunt in UK for almost 20yrs. His mother was a Jamaican and his father was a caucasian. He was a Christian. After he went to Nigeria we still wrote mails. One day he told he would leave and booked plane ticket (from Lagos to Shanghai), then I received his flight information. It showed that he would come on July 25th. He chated with me on MSN and said he have no money to pay the bill of hotel. He asked me to remit USD400 to him. He said the plane ticket cost him much (about USD3000) and he had only USD3000 left, it was his base travel expense. He said if he has not enough money, the Custom would not let him in! (I don't know if it is true! )I believed him and remitted money. This was July 18th.
The day after that he told me because of the court case, his lawyer wanted him to pay USD721. He called me and say that he had no friend to ask for, begged me to help him.
I remitted USD751 again because of sympathy. This was July 20th.
Maybe you will consider I'm fool. At that time I really sympathized him, and he promised me he would reimburse to me surely.
Two or three days later he called me again. He said he must stay there for another two weeks. Because he must get the important documents from the court! He had no money to pay the bills of hotel and he said the court would give the documents to him after 8-10 days! He rescheduled the flight, he would come to Shanghai on Augest 6th, and asked me to remit USD400*2 for another two weeks. I remitted the sum of USD800 at July 25th (400) and Augest 2rd (400)!
Two days ago he called me that, when he paid the bill of the hotel, they asked him to pay the expense of internet using. I gave him USD150 again!
I gave him USD400*3+721+150=2071, and charges: USD32*3+42+21=159, so the sum is 2230!
In fact I haven't enough money to give him, so I borrowed from my friends. I doubted him after I remitted USD721. He called me and said"please, please, I beg you. I promise you I will reimburse you. ". So I trust him again. I'm willing to help others and my heart is very soft! I brought all my savings. I tried my best to help him. And now I'm worried that when he come, whether he has money to give back to me. If he says not, how can I do then?
I borrowed from my friend and I promised to give her back next week! I'm worried about another thing: my son will go back to school at September. I have no money to pay the tuition fee! I'm worried all the day and think about this. I will meet him at the airport the day after tomorrow (Augest 6th). I have an ominous presentiment that I must be cheated. He would not reimbuse to me the money! So what can I do? Do you think this is a trap?
I don't know how you think about this, but you must think I'm a foolish woman. A stranger asked me to remit money and I did!
Maybe it is a lesson for me? Before I meet him, I'm still not sure if it is a trap.
I don't let my frined know this matter. You're the person I'm willing to tell. Can you give some suggestions for me?
Several years ago I was in an internet cafe. An african guy sitting next to me was sending an e-mail to a japanese girl telling her a similar sob story and asking her to deposit money into an account. What caught my attention most was when he told her he was in Japan. In reality, he was in Changmai, Thailand. Fucking shithead!
Many women play this internet con game with lonely men, so it shouldn't surprise us that some men do the same thing.
We all get cheated sometimes. I recently loaned $1500 to help a "friend". I have now learned that he is smoking crack, so I now think I will never get my money back. "A friend in need is a friend indeed". "Lend, and lose a friend".

I get at least one email a day from africa tell me about their lost lost uncle in the USA that has $40 million here in the USA and they need my help to get this money. They always end with "God Bless you" . I tell them all "Fuck You including your fake God" . There fake God is not Jesus or other religious figures. There God is "Deception and Money"
As far as Chinese woman , I would guess maybe 999 women ask and try to deceive men out of money to every one shit-bum westen man who tries this. Philippine woman are even worse. This is another group who will use Jesus to help them. I would also guess the ones that are asking for money is a man translator. Just PM or email all of them 2 words , "fuck you". Just go to China or Phillippines in person and meet your women. You never know who hides behind this electronic screen.

I was buying Creatine locally until a trainer at my gym said it was best to buy it in HK because there had been reported cases of the local brands using CHALK as a substitute for the real stuff.
I had also tried some of the hard-on pills in the past that had major side effects, which I reported about in the past.

You have a good trainer because alot of them just try to sell you their own stuff.
Along with all the other fake stuff. What about fake liquor.
I've seen fake beer, red wines and white wines. The beer was obviously recapped and smelled more "fruity". But I figure spiked alcohol is the most dangerous because of the volume consumed and alot of times things are just attributed to hangover or food poisoning.
Any tips on how to catch fakes or at least reduce encountering them?

I have recently learned that OldAsiaHand has joined a christian brotherhood and has become a monk. He is now living in a Dominican monastery in the mountains of Moldovia.
Apparently the food and wine is very good, and he believes being with his christian brothers is now more important than women.

Stop speculating,
If that is true, AG is going to retire and dedicate his life to teaching these young girls the true meaning of life.
OAH is on summer vacation in states and will be back end of August. We have a road trip planned for End August.

Do any of you mongers know of a pharmaceutical site where I can get Cialis or something equivalent that is not Viagra? I tried a site in India but seems I was sent a placebo. Viagra causes issues that are not viable so I want to try something else.

Cialis will be available in all major Pharmacy in major cities throughout China soon. The Ministry of Health in China will be releasing 500+ new licenses to Pharmacies throughout China on 1st September 2007. Previously there are only limited places where Cialis is available due to the limited licenses issued.

You are kidding me right Albert? :D
As you know, unless these Pharmacies get their supplies from reliable source, there is no guarantee that their supplies are the real stuff. Not to mention that a lot of legitimate Pharmacies in China also try to make more money by selling the fake stuff. In the course of inspection not long ago, we had also found one of our resellers of our brand of Vitamins also carried the fake supplies of our Vitamins. We had taken step into warning that Pharmacy and removed the reseller status from our list. However, as for Cialis; their main supplier may not be in China and thus, they may not carry out regular inspection on their reseller stock. Thus there is no guarantee that they carry the real stuff. Moreover; I am not their supplier of Cialis (My company does not supply such drugs), I will not be able to guarantee.
Now, coming back to Web site selling Cialis, I don’t think anyone can guarantee that the drugs they are selling are the real stuff. What seems to be a legitimate website selling real drug can turn out to be a scam deal.
It will take trained eyes of those in Pharmaceutical Supplier to recognize the real trademarks, Serial numbers and packaging of their own drugs. Each different brand has their own unique markings on their packaging. The American Pharmaceutical Sales Association (APSA) has a set of marking which identify each drug but however, there are thousands of manufacturers of drugs that are outside America, plus these marking can also be copied from the real packaging as well. Our inspectors will have to match the Serial Numbers with the batch numbers and the Dates of manufacture in order to determine whether the drug is the real stuff. Of course these are information only available to manufacturers and distributors of the drug itself.
Enjoy!

I was watching Dateline on "Bitter Pills". It might not be even 100% safe in the USA to buy drugs. Guys in the USA also want to make money. For example, some guy was selling fakes to wholesaler made over 28 million.
To protect against counterfeit drugs, or that have been tainted or poisoned,
they are trying something new called electronic pedigree technology, ( RF-ID ). It's something the federal government require companies to track medicines from the factory to the pharmacy.
It's some kind of scanner that's linked to some centralized database. If I had to guess, if the pharmacy doesn't have a scanner, they can check the web or maybe call the company. It's still not 100% safe but it's just another layer and adds more cost to the product. Yes, if I was suffering from something like cancer, I would buy the drugs in the USA rather than any other place like the web or China.
Some Viagra has drywall, cement and paint. Rumor has it our friend "Santa" made them. He's a millioniare now.

I have been using a Chinese brand called "Tiger" for awhile now and have not gotten any side effects I got with other crap here. Tiger comes in a metal box, 6 tabs and looks like Viagra. I take a half tab sometimes and get excellent results. If you don't like being a "lab rat" best to stick with the real stuff rather than experiment.

Hi,
What experienced did you made about racissm in China.
I was sure to have found paradise on hainan island. But the last months a couple of foreigners was beaten up there for no reason.
Last victim was a very good friend of mine. They nearly beat him to death. He was attacked by 2 Chinese guys inside the 66 bar in haikou hainan. He went out to go home. Outside there were allready waitng 3 more guys with iron tubes.
This friend of mine has contact to the highest people in hainan. He is absolutly nice guy, no trouble maker. He loved hainan same as I did. Now he is more dead than alive.
I know from about 3 other foreigners was beaten up after visiting bars in haikou. Chinese guys beat themself up every weekend. This I don t care. But it s allways, they come with many against one or two others.
The police care nothing. In sanya I saw 2 times more trhán 10 Chinese guys beat 1-2 Chinese guys nearly death. Police was standing beside doing nothing.
I m really concerned about foreigners in China. It can happen so easyly. Even I was nearly beaten up after visiting the seaclub in haikou.
I was lucky my little brother showed up. He is taxi driver in haikou and so suddenly we were 15 of his friends against this 6 shitheads.
They with their small dicks pissed off.
I would like to know if other members noticed violent racissm in China too.

I met a 9 on-line from Hainan , I wanted to meet her. But right from the horses mouth ( 3 Chinese women ) told me not to go there. This Hainan woman went to school in the UK . I find Chinese women who went to school in the west seem to have both cultures and are the best to be with. But they are rare. Most of them leave China.
As far as racisim , I did experience it in HK , Guangzhou and Nanning. I thought racism was only black and white as a young American man. As I grew older, not so anymore. You will experience racism no matter where you go in this world. You must be smart , try to advoid it, know your area and most important have an excape plan.
You did not go into how your friends got themself into trouble. It not important , but I too put myself into the wrong place at the wrong time. Your friend maybe did the same. If your read this CP gang post and read between the lines of their post. Yes they get cheap sex , freebies and all that good shit but they also have a little support system there and they know their area.
PS , I will still meet this Hainan woman , but on my turf. One of the above Cities that I mentioned.

What you guys describe has nothing at all to do with racism. It's simply crime. Hainan, outside of the resort area, is infamous for its crime.
I've been to many countries of this world. I've seen suppressed racism, I've seen blatantly open racism. China is one of the, if not the most foreigner-friendly country on this planet.
I've never felt safer than here.
And if the guy who's supposedly been beaten up really had contact to some of the highest people in Hainan, the folks who roughed him up would now be off the streets and nowhere to be found.
"They with their small dicks pissed off" could be considered a racist remark.
Friends,
My typical stomping grounds are in Medellin, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paolo. Today I find myself in Tokyo and am contemplating a spontaneous trip to China. The Zhuhai threads have convinced me that China is a must however, where in greater China can I find the fuller, taller, and more buxom gals? I'm not a huge fan of the 'spinner' types.
Any suggestions?
The fuller, taller, and more buxom gals in China are called Mongolians and can be found en masse in Beijing.
The local variety can be found in Harbin. But the Mongolians are fuller, taller, and more buxom. They also enjoy sex more.
If you want fuller, taller, and more buxom, then Zhuhai is not a good place to be. In my view, ZH is overrated anyway.
Hey guys,
Just a quick question.- I hope it hasn't been discussed elsewhere (I RRRF but came up blank).
Anyway, I've been to the late night barber shops once or twice in the past and have had decent services. There's one next to my apartment and I'm often tempted to go in. But usually the girls are not to my liking.
I know these bbs are everywhere but I'm wondering if I went in and said, "hey, what are the chances of getting a (for example) really tall girl in here next week, blah, blah, blah" (In Chinese of course).
Do these places have any say as to what girls work at these places or what?
Just wondering. And yes, I do infact have a thing for really tall asian girls.

For the past 4 years I have spend at least two months in Hainan, Haikou and Sanya. I routinely walk the streets alone, patronize the local 'establishments', stay at Chinese owned hotels. I have never ever had a problem that I would consider racism or violence. As a matter of fact, the only racism I met with was a New Zealander who told me he didn't speak any Chinese because "the only Chinese worth speaking with already know English".
This is not to say that a western tourist should not be careful, expecially when consuming alcohol or practicing our hobby. But in my opinion, Hainan is not more dangerous than most areas in China, and much less than some.
Having said that, I do agree that the availability of quality working women has deteriorated in the past few years. But that just requires more effort in the hunt. And for the true 'sportsman' the hunt is part of the enjoyment.

Thanks for your statement.
I was living in hainan for 6 month. My friend who was beaten up lives there for 1 year now. He went many times to this pub and drank a lot of times there with the owner of this place. My friend is mid 20th not rich but good looking and has his business in haikou. No truble maker.
So I was shocked this happened to him. Even the doorman of 66 bar beat him down, incredible.
In September I return to haikou. I will never visit again 66 bar or bars in'the seaclub area. There are even nicer places in haikou.
Take care all of you

Guys:
Apologize for asking a non mongering question, but would really appreciate your advise as I am not familiar at all with the new Guangzhou airport (believe its no longer Baiyun?):
Need to send my visitors who are here in Hong Kong to catch their plane leaving at 9 pm (back to the U.S.) at Guangzhou airport.
I figure on taking the direct train from Hunghom to Guangzhou East and then take a taxi to the airport.
Then take a taxi back to Guangzhou East train station and catch a train back to Shenzhen. The questions I have are:
- Is this a good plan/any one have a better way to do this?
- Are trains still available at approx 9PM from Guangshou East to Shenzhen? Or is it from another station in guangzhou?
- Are there other means of transport from Guangzhou Intl airport to Shenzhen? i.e. a direct bus or perhaps a train line?
Thanks in advance for any guidance/advise

I don't think they will give up their best source of information and block this forum in China.
The government employs thousands of "patriotic" university students to police the internet. A few years ago, I read a story about it in the New York Times.

The actions of ISG men and other foreign men (not on ISG) who visit China are a simple grain of sand compared to the illicit activities of its local people.

.
I don't think they are concerned about men looking for sex with women, that is a socially acceptable behavior in most countries.
We should not allow any political, religious or racial commentary, since that is not the "purpose of the forum".
I think the photo gallery is a problem. There is a legal and moral problem with posting a woman's picture without her permission, even if she is "just a hooker". Also, the chinese are very sensitive about pornography, and we should be aware of that cultural difference. Porn is more acceptable in the western tradition. Just my opinion, but I like the photos.
I think we should worry the censors. We want them to accept us as just average guys doing what guys do, having fun with women. We like China and have no bad intentions. We do not want them to block this forum.
Anybody who comes to this forum to promote political, religious or moral agendas should be immediately rejected.
Just my point of view.

Hey fellow players.
I was recently in China (CP in particular) and I couldn't get connected to ISG, either in an Internet Bar or at my friend's home private computer.
The thing is. The info on this site is most needed when one is travelling or living in China (as it was the case for me when I was visiting CP in July). And there's a real possibility that I may be heading back to China to work and live, which makes the need to connect to this website even more "imperative". So my question is. How do you guys get connected to ISG while in China?
If I'm lucky enuf to actually get to live in China, I will certainly want to be a subscribing member so I can meet up with "like-minded" friends to go do some serious "hunting". But if I can't get access while in China, then. What's the point.
Thanx for any feedback.

I'm not a computer guy either. My computer ability is limited to the everyday use of the machine and getting online. Don't know anything about connecting to a proxy or the likes.
The problem that I think I had when trying to connect ISG in China is that the name of this site has the word "sex" in it. And we all know that the Chinese Big Brother blocks/censors all words related to "sex", "porn", etc.
So Albert, how do you get connected...do you just type in the website name in the address box and...it appears??
Anyone else can give me some feedback.

You should not need to bother with proxies and the like and they tend to slow things down a lot. It should work and I have only once or twice been temporarily unable to access it here.
I would try other locations first, or try other links, like:
http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=233
:and see how that goes.
Good luck on the move.
Hi ,
I decide to quit this hobby, for too many bad experiences.
Followings are summarized experiences (focused on North China. my work field for
North China)
1. Tianjin Municipality including suburbs
KTVs of Jixian county.(2001 2003 2005 2006)

- appearance : 6-7, attitude : 7-9, service : 7-8
- 100RMB for tip, 400-800RMB for LT
Sauna of Jixian(forget where)
- very pleasant and openminded girls
- 150RMB

- tip : 100RMB, 400-800RMB for LT(2003-2005)
KTVs city centers
- their appearances wore worse than KTV girls in Jinmu, price is more expensvce

- All staffs were kind.( winter time, not so many guest)
- I believe that almost of the sauna here will do reasonable service

My conclusions
1)
High Price and good appearance of products do not mean good service
The girls in expensive KTV(including passion bar)

Outside of room, do everything, inside room, do nothing
They make me feel that I am walking wallet with dick
If you are expert with many experiencces, you can tr.
2)
Do ask taxi driver about good place.
Exception : Taxi driver in shenyang(Saunas with good service are well connected with drivers)
3)
Do not call special massage in Hotel. (Just for me, others have many good experiences
4)
Best place for mongering
- County(small city)area with many business tourist. (Rongcheng, Yingkou, Lianyungang) all good
- Just for short time tourist, shenyang was best place
5)

First of all let me tell you that I regret you had so many bad experiences.
However, as you state, maybe reason itself for that is late knowledge of ISG and you couldn't benefit of all clues given here.
It happened same to me actually, but I didn't give up and now I am a very happy monger.

This may be not necessarily be obvious, so I'll say it anyway. Chinese men score a helluva lot more "freebies" than foreigners. I would even venture to say that natives score a helluva lot more "freebies" than foreigners in just about every country in the world.
In China there's a sense that women who go with foreigners do so for one of 4 reasons; curiousity, money, crazy, or can't do any better cuz they're ugly. Yes it's racist, but that's pretty much how they feel.
May I pose a question about the above? (I know I'm coming into the discussion late, but I was reading some older articles and came across this.) Apparently, many of the "freebies" that Chinese men get are (1) women who regard the relationship as serious, i.e., potentially marriage-track, (2) women who expect financial support, and (3) women who are not particularly attractive. Suppose we exclude these categories. The question is, if by "freebies" we mean "attractive women who don't expect a serious relationship or financial support," then, is it still the case that Chinese men score a helluva lot more freebies than foreigners? Or not? Thanks for any insights.

Thanks for any insights.I'm reluctant to provide a non-monger perspective in our dear twisted community, but 99. 9% of all human sexual activity occurs without the direct exchange of money, I. E. 'freebies'. Spare me the lectures that all sex has it's price; my divorce attorney has provided that expensive narrative on multiple occasions.complex sexual economics aside, direct P4P is not the way that most of the world exchanges fluids.
Yes: even in modern China, women overwhelmingly see sexuality as a preface to marriage, or at least part of the process to find a suitable lifetime mate. Do Chinese women experiment? Get drunk? Make foolish choices? Thankfully: of course! But likely your success ratio with 'freebies' will be in direct relationship to your 1) suitability as a potential husband 2) your ability to project (or falsify) this suitability 3) your flexibility to accept less than 'young and beautiful' into your hotel room 4) your willingness to invest time and energy sustaining this new 'relationship' prior to (and after) entry and finally 5) how soon your flight leaves China to return you to the arms of your loving wife and the kids she tells you are yours.

Here are answers from someone who works/has worked hard on freebies.
First of all, I would like to clarify that for “freebies” I think everybody agrees we don’t talk about sex-for-free, as always you invest some money (food, club, gift even if not requested) and time (everybody knows too that time is money), but we only mean common girls, i.e. neither pros nor semi-pros.
Freebies I was/am with cannot be categorized under (1) as when I meet them I openly/clearly tell them what I am looking for, or under (2) as I have never been requested to support them financially in any sort of way. On the contrary, in some cases they took care of restaurant bill, or at least insisted to do that.
As far as category (3), many girls I have been with are young and good looking, besides being pleasant/funny to be with.
In any case, beauty is subjective and, most important, I don’t think that sexual attraction is necessarily linked to beauty.
May I pose a question about the above? (I know I'm coming into the discussion late, but I was reading some older articles and came across this.) Sorry, maybe my question wasn't clear. I was commenting on a discussion that happened a couple months ago, so maybe the context got lost. I'll try to make this simple.
To recap: Moody's assertion: Chinese men score a helluva lot more "freebies" than foreigners.
There was general agreement, and I agree with it as well. However, a lot of the "freebies" that Chinese guys get are "supported," "serious," or "unattractive." If we exclude those, then does Moody's assertion still hold?
(A) Yes.
(B) Yes, but only somewhat more (not "a helluva lot more").
(C) No, in that case, Chinese guys are getting no better results than us laowai.
My guess (based on having a few Chinese friends over the past 5 years) is (B) (with the understanding that "freebie" in any case still includes costs of hunting, dinner, gifts, etc. -- I'm not excluding that).

This subject can be more complicated than..... Chinese men get more pussy than Laowai's. One thing I know for sure is Chinese men get better service and bang (no pun intended) for the buck or free sex than Laowai's. Why? Plain and simple , language and knowledge of culture. Period.
I can maybe get more free pussy in my country for the same reason like Moody said. I said maybe because I did get my fair share of free pussy in China . I am 100% sure that I can get more younger free pussy in China than I can get in the USA. In fact , I do get more free younger pussy in China than USA. But , I must admit that nothing in this life is free. Like Night Cat said ............ the cost of hunting , dinner , shopping , etc.
OK , The question was....... Do Chinese men get more pussy . Chinese men and all other Laowai's men countries come in only two categories, single or married. This is where it can get complicated.
MARRIED MEN:
I guess that 90% of Married Chinese men who cheat PAY. I did not say 90% of Married Chinese men cheat but the ones who do cheat, PAY , I am sure of this. 90% does not leave much room for free pussy.
Like Night Cat said , I also have 100's of Chinese women friends who have told me this. Yes the 90% number could be irresponsible of me including the Chinese women who have told me this. no ones knows the real numbers , so take it for what its worth.
Maybe 90% of our Laowai's Countries married men Cheat to, but its free , except for the hunting , gifts , dinner etc. , like Night cat said.
So when is comes to married men , who is getting more free pussy? Hands down , the married Western man wins. Morally I don't think WIN is the best word , but men will be men and this string in not about morals.
SINGLE MEN:
The 18 to 30 OR up until they are married , I really don't know. China is going through a sexual revolution for maybe 10 years now , but again because the West is and has been more open to sex than China's youth. I would give the Western young man the edge. This is not good news if you have a young daughter or son , but this is life. I would hope to hear other opinions on this age group. The problem is , we don't have many home town Chinese men on this site. We do have many Western / Chinese men on ISG and maybe they can help.
THE REAL FREE SEX:
The 15 to 18 years old all over the West and China experiment with sex all the time now and there is no gifts , dinner , hunting , etc. Remember those days?
Good post Night Cat , Moody and others.
Stay safe gentlemen

... and didn't get question properly.
So, I have to apologize.
In addition, I don't have answer for the real question.
As a foreigner, I can only say it appears very easy for us to score. Basing on conversations with my Chinese partners and friends, it seems very easy for them too.
Who scores more ?
Maybe it is not important to know.
Probably, our targets are just different and we never get into competition, which I believe is important issue at the end.

In New York, I live in Chinatown, and I see the complimentary situation: Chinese women with American men that they must have met on Jerry Springer.
If we were such desirable mates, Maggies would be charging local Chinese women an entry fee and I would be insisting on 1500 for my world class DATY.

But really, aren't the only ladies giving it up for free either ugly, already rich, married, or think they will get paid later (aka through marriage)? Will a smart, attractive, single girl with normal chinese income give it up for free to some guy who will probably leave her soon after to find a hotter girl?
And if the guy is married with no intention of divorcing and does not lie to the girl, doesn't he have almost no chance to be with a very hot chinese girl for free. If we agree that none of us wants to waste our time with someone who is stupid or ugly, then if a married guy wants a freebie, he will need to find married or already rich woman who is just looking for fun, no? If she is married, there are many risks there that most will not want to expose themselves to. Which leaves rich, bored attractive women as potential freebies for married guys. My spidey sense tells me there are not many of these women in China.
Attractive freebies, it would seem then, are only for unmarried men (or married men who lie to the girl) who can offer marriage and security to the girl. Am I wrong here?

... as far as I am concerned.
As already stated in old posts, I never lie about my marital status to girls and I can confirm that I am/was able to drive to bed hot girls much younger than me.
As I am not a professional playboy nor a model type, but just a common man, I believe others can do that easily in China.
...
Am I wrong here?
In Zhuhai I saw a lot of prostitutes walking the street chatting you up, trying to get you to take them back to your hotel room for 200 RMB. First I thought they were freelance, since I didn't notice any pimps following them.
Then I noticed that the same girls were always walking the same locations. I also followed one of the girls in 30m distance and noticed that there was some kind of pimp thug going with her, trying to get customers.
Now my questions are:
1. What is the status of these prostitutes? Do they do this work on their own accord, or are they the "slaves" of the pimp? E.g. if the girl didn't want to continue to work, because she wanted to look for another kind of job or felt she had earned enough money, could she just stop and leave? If not, how does the pimp control that she comes back to him after she was in my hotel room. Obviously he doesn't wait in front of the room, at least I never saw anybody.
2. If I give the girl 200RMB, how much does she keep for herself and how much does the pimp get?
Most of these girls appeared nearly desperate that you take them out, i.e. they talked up men on the street very aggressively for 12 hours a day and their facial expressions often showed signs of being stressed out to get more customers. This whole experience was really rather unnerving.
Another thing I experienced that was unsettling was this: I had sex with a girl from Sichuan who looked like a country girl from a village. After we had finished, I asked her at which age she first had had sex. I don't want to repeat the answer here, but it was unnerving.
According to my amateur psychological interpretation, she was probably a victim of child abuse in a peasant family, who then fled her village to come to the city, where she began working as a prostitute to support herself. These observations really show you the dark sides of this business.
Also, has anyone here noticed that some of the girls have blue spots on them that look like being the result of beatings?
Thanks to those who responded. Clearly, freebies are an area where "YMMV" especially applies, so it's hard to make any generalizations, but I think some useful observations have been posted. To close the loop on my original question, I would agree that Chinese guys probably get more freebie action than foreigners, but I also think that the girls with the Chinese guys are almost always of the "girlfriend" variety (she thinks she's his #1), or the "lover" variety (she knows she isn't #1, but gets some kind of financial support, e.g., he pays her rent). When speaking Chinese, "nupengyou" and "qingren" are usually understood to have the above meanings, respectively (which is why, in Chinese, it doesn't make sense to say "one of my girlfriends"). Again, there are so many variables (age group, region, socio-economic class, marital status, etc.) that it's hard to generalize, but that's what I've observed.
Where foreign guys may have an advantage is with girls who see themselves as "open minded" and want to go beyond the above model (which is seen as something Chinese) and try something more casual (which is seen as something foreign). They might feel more comfortable trying this with a foreigner than a Chinese guy.
We see a lot of guys reporting vastly different results with freebies, which of course has to do with many variables (as it would in your own country). "Everyone finds a different China," and my China is similar to AG's Thailand (where he found that it was easy to get a girlfriend but the marriage or money questions would come up eventually). So, I'm not quite the "alpha male" in China, maybe a "beta male?" But that's still better than my results in my own country. My perception (although this may be a cynical slant, don't put too much stock into it) is that Chinese girls estimate their "market value" according to their beauty, and need to be compensated accordingly, whether financially, or having a serious relationship with a future, or, if more "open minded," entertainment (i.e., they feel entertained by you). The more "compensation" you put out, the hotter the girls you can get. I think a lot of guys who get freebies here approach and chase a lot of women. Maybe they'll chat up 20 or 30 girls, go out with a few, and bed one of them. If they enjoy the process, then they don't see this as a cost. Personally, I find it inconvenient. During my first couple years or so in China, I had some "no strings" freebies, but I noticed that I was spending an enormous amount of time hunting, going on dead-end dates, dealing with girls who want the strings, and hanging around in places where I'd otherwise not want to spend time (like the disco). So I cut down on that and shifted more toward P4P. Now, I'm considerably less "social" than I used to be. But who knows, the pendulum may yet swing again.
That's my story. YMMV! Cheers, and good luck,
NC

Unlike Albert Punter, I am not always upfront with freebies initially about my marital status, albeit I will tell the truth if asked which is more often than not. One of the first questions normally asked is, "Is your family here?".
I find that some Chinese girls don't care whether you are married and find it as a challenge. I even did one freebie in SZ that told me she never asks the question. On the other hand, many bolt when they know you are married and there is no long term potentional. There is no question that you can get more if you lie, but I prefer to be honest. Married women are a good option, but I always feel guilty about doing this for some reason. And, I do not want to find myself in a confrontation with a jealous husband.
Frankly, I never get the hot stunners for free. I believe that rich Chinese guys have the best chance here and pay up the nose for the priveledge in the form of rent (house), cars, gifts, dinners, allowance, etc. Divorce is on the rise in China so these girls still think they have a chance. One good friend of mine (a TV dancer) just pulled this off. They guy bought her a house and car when he was still married. He has since divorced his wife and will marry my friend next month. However, this type of girl never looks twice at a middle aged laowai.
Even the top, top, quality P4P do not do laowai. They don't have to. I mean why should they take the chance of a big dick and never ending FS (real or myth?) when they can have as many Chinese punters as they want and the chance that one may decide to "keep" them.
YMMY, but like Nightcat, I have had to invest time in freebies with a lot of dead ends. Only once was I able to score a one night stand in China, but I do not spend much time in bars and discos.
To put it in perspective, I do over 100 girls per year in China and over 90% are P4P. It is just quicker and easier for me.
Just my POV.

OAHYes. I totally agree.
I believe that the single man, Chinese or Western, in his search for freebie is actually in his own blind search for a lifetime mate. How many of us have seen that freebie morph into the ***** with a wedding ring, a lawyer, our children and our money? Now in China, rather than the hunt for the freebie, I find my hunt to be for the non-pro who will do the deed for money for the first time (or one of very few times). A working-girl virgin if you will. She wants the money. She is curious about sex and western men. She certainly doesn't want marriage to a lao Lao Wai. She doesn't want anyone to know. So a wealthy middle-aged western man who is seldom in China is a quick low-risk adventure.
The cute shop girl, the hotel waitress or the young married woman shopping in the mall, etc. , will not have the performance capability of one of Maggie's Mongolians. But she will not be as jaded to the deed, and her pussy will not have the mileage. She will not be faking her orgasm and her nervousness and freshness are. Well, priceless.
Perhaps most importantly to me, once back in the hotel room, there is a mystery about what will happen and I have that stupid testosterone feeling of having made a new 'conquest', even as I count out the red maos into her well-manicured hands.
What I have experienced in China is that you can ask for "Short Time" for approximately 200 RMB. The problem with that in my experience has been that many of the girls want to leave after having sex for approximately 15 minutes. This kind of sex is pretty unfulfilling, often I haven't even climaxed.
The other option is "Long Time" for 800 RMB, where she stays overnight. I'm not interested in that, because I don't see any sense in a girl lying next to me, while I'm sound asleep. Also, I'm afraid she may steal some stuff from my hotel room, while I'm sleeping.
Is there an option of "Medium Time", maybe for 400, where she stays for like 2 hours, so you can have good long sex, with foreplay etc.?

All Chinese WG's know that their one job is to make you pop. My Countrry the same and I'm sure all Countries the same. Sure there are some guys that just want the company of a woman with no sex at all , including Chinese men.
For 200 rmb , you should have made it clear that you need a quick HJ after you fucked her so you won't have lovers nuts all day. By the sound of your post , you paid her first and this gave her the chance to bolt on you. I would think with all the good post on ISG that we would learn.
Years ago , some guy wrote a book "Computers for dummies" and now there are many of these books for 100's of other subjects. We need one more - "Sex for dummies" I am not saying that you are a dummies because we all have made these mistakes.
Good luck on your next one Phil be safe

You pay for one hour session of short time for 200 RMB and if the experience is a good one, then you extend for another period hour for another 200 RMB.
Yes. I totally agree.
I believe that the single man, Chinese or Western, in his search for freebie is actually in his own blind search for a lifetime mate.
I agree with the lifetime mate Meiguoguizi but, I think the reason why many of us men talk about free sex is............... For the basic man's needs:
to be desired
to be wanted
to be touched
to be needed
to be liked or loved
and much much more, not to mention our ego's being stroked with the above.
Men don't like to admit or talk about the above but we all want it and need it to survive .
I am sorry to say that your lifetime mate quote ends up with lifetime lawyers and support for us divorced men , but many of us search for the about "until death do us parth".
Mongering just helps us to get the above touching and avoid the lawyer and support shit.
Good post Meiguozuizi , take care and be safe.

I agree, I'm not sure why so many White guys are whining around here. It's really not difficult to get into contact with ordinary Chinese women as a White guy in China, as long as you know some Chinese and aren't butt-ugly. In my experience it is far easier than meeting women in any Western country.
Just as an example, about two weeks ago I sat in a small street restaurant in Zhuhai drinking some beer. After a while the female owner of the restaurant came up to me, asked me the usual questions (where I'm from, where I have learned Chinese etc.), after about five minutes she takes out her cell phone and starts showing me pictures of her 20 and 23 year old daughters and tries to get me to call them up and meet them. I felt kind of uncomfortable and left after a short while. Still, I have never had such experiences in any Western country.
The only negative aspect of going out with Chinese women is all the stares you get from Chinese guys when you walk down the street with her, not that I care, but many of the girls mind.

Seriously, whilst the Chinese can be pushy and 'aggressive' on the subway etc it is pretty lightwegiht stuff. If you ever see a fight in China it is mainly 'slapping' and pushing than actually fists. In the west, fists would be out and blood showing way before the Chinese guys get really started.
Big cities seem safe - hell you walk into a dark alley anywhere you are asking for trouble, but less likely to find it on a main street in Shanghai or Beijing than New York, London or Sydney where alcohol has so much a bigger part to play.
Now, if you will follow touts (see recent threads on Shanghai forum) that is a different matter.
WGS
Phil1980, I was robbed in Beijing in 1997 by three pussies with switchblades. Almost directly across the street from Kempinski when there used to be a little alley with a whole neighborhood back there.
Take was 2000 rmb, 800 US, and my Tag watch. It was my fault - I'm a city kid and was not paying attention to my situation around me like I should have been.
Three little punks who I could have snapped in two like a field bean. But they had the knives, and wasn't interested in getting cut.
Take was 2000 rmb, 800 US, and my Tag watch. It was my fault - I'm a city kid and was not paying attention to my situation around me like I should have been.
How come you were carrying 800 USD on the street in Beijing in 1997?
I normally stow my money in 2 pockets, in one I carry daily use money (like 150 RMB), say when I want to buy a beer at a street stall. In the other (concealed) pocket I carry somewhat larger amounts, though I would disrecommend carrying more than you are willing to spend that evening with you.
BTW, I had money stolen twice from me in China: Once in Shanghai somebody on the street opened my backpack and stole approximately 2000 RMB, since then I always carry my backpack in front when in China. The other time I was drunk in Haikou and asked a taxi driver to get me a girl. Afterwards the driver followed me and the girl to my hotel room and stole several thousand RMB from my hotel room, while I was having sex with the girl.

I agree, in Germany I have even seen women in a disco beating up a guy. They totally scratched out his face, there was blood all over him, all because he supposedly touched them.
Also, I still remember from my school days there were several events where students had teeth knocked out in schoolyard fights. Then again, I grew up in a bad part of town.
Personally I have never been a victim of serious violence in China, once a woman in a disco slapped me in the face, because I fondled her butt, once a guy kicked me in the ass, because I was hitting on his girlfriend, that's about it.
At the same time I have often engaged in high-risk behaviour in China, which probably would have gotten me killed by now in cities like Moscow or L.A., like walking through dark alleys at night in a drunken stupor, driving along with people I had just met to locations I didn't know, trying to chat up women who were obviously attached etc. Then again, I'm a pretty muscular guy who works out regularly, so maybe most Chinese guys don't dare to start a serious fight. Anyway, I would fight back as hard as I can.
Nope. Probably will now.
First, this is very funny and probably true. Never temp the gods.
Second, the Chinese will usually leave the foreigners alone because it will probably go bad for them if the police gets involved.
I am Chinese-American and can speak Chinese. I have asked some Police that I have met about safety in China. Most of them don't want to get involved with a foreigner since it causes them a lot of trouble. They would have to get their superiors involved therefore they are very hard on the local Chinese that causes the trouble.
This being said, you have to allow the local Chinese their "Face", sometimes they will lose their temper and will suffer for it if the police gets involved however you would have gotten beaten up already.
You will be fine if you will not call attention to yourself.

Unless you, or someone you're with lifes in danger, just walk away. Stupidity is not bravery, it's just a guy who winds up in the hospital or morgue because he thought he was invincible.
If a man is starving, hopped up on drugs or has lost his mind, he will do what it takes to survive, including mugging a big muscular guy. Muscles don't mean shit to a guy who knows how to fight. I also go to a gym and watch those small guys doing kung-fu and kickboxing and to be honest, I would not want to tangle with them.
If you are confronted, there is something much better than fighting back and it's called running. I would rather explain my cowardness to friends, rather then them trying to figure out how I ended up in a body bag.
Carry only the minimum amount of cash you will need, don't wear expensive jewerly, have a plan before you go out, don't get so drunk you lose the ability to make sound decisions and don't let your little head put you in a dangerous situation.

Another possibility is to carry pepper spray, non-lethal, highly effective in knocking those punks out. Buy several cannisters and practice how to draw, aim and shoot at a person quickly.
Even a knife isn't of any use, when you can't see anymore and your entire face is burning.

That's a dubious suggestion for someone living in the US, much less China...
Haven't you seen how Chinese usually fight? You'll almost never be in a 1-on-1 situation, more like 5-on-1 or 10-on-1...I don't care who you are, unless you have a firearm, you're not going to win with those odds...
It's never going to be a fair fight and there are too many unknown variables that could happen, and that's why I agree with CP Exapt...extricate your ass from dangerous situation ASAP.

I also agree. There is no reason to proof anything to anyone.
Like someone once said, those who lose fight and runs away, lives to run another day.
I'm just curious: Has anyone of you ever been beaten up or robbed on the street in China?
Not on the street. In Chengdu, I had my wallet lifted by a girl I was dancing with in a disco. After dancing closely for a few minutes, she told me there's something on my face, so I went to the bathroom, and then afterwards, she was gone, and so was my wallet. Since then, I don't use a wallet.
In Shenzhen, I was in a very crowded disco, and started getting annoyed by people shoving me as they went past. At one point, I was positioned where a guy would either have to ask me to move so he could get by, or shove me. He chose to shove me. I turned, told him (in Chinese), "you shouldn't do THIS," and shoved him back. Then we mixed it up for a while, sort of grabbing/dragging each other, the only blood was from my arm that got cut on the edge of a table. The staff came by to separate us and escorted him out, and later they suggested I leave by the back entrance (since the guy could be waiting with friends outside). I decided that that would be my first, and last, fight in China.
A week or so later, also in Shenzhen, I was in a bar chatting up a 30+ lady, and a guy who had chatted with her earlier came up to me and whacked me real hard on the side of the head. Considering my earlier resolution, I decided not to retaliate. I would have liked to, but this way, I figure he winds up looking like the bad guy. I tried to get the staff to make him leave the bar, but they did nothing. Then I just continued chatting with the lady. She said she didn't know the guy, other than their earlier chat.
In Beijing, I was walking by an outdoor cafe, and heard one guy say "laowai!" in an aggressive tone as I passed. I ignored him. A few seconds later, I heard him say "cao ni ma!" ("fuck your mother"). Apparently he thought I didn't understand Chinese, and thought he could get in a free shot of verbal abuse against a foreigner. I stopped, turned around, walked up to him, and said to him (in Chinese), "you said 'cao ni ma'? fuck whose mother? can't be my mother, must be your mother. fuck your mother? is that what you mean? fuck your mother?" I repeated these comments until he got so steamed that he stood up and grabbed a beer bottle. His friend stood up and tried to calm him down, but it had no effect, the guy was pissed ("pissed" is American for "angry;" although he was probably also "pissed" in the British sense, i.e., drunk). He made a move like he was going to throw the bottle, so I stepped back a bit, then it looked like he was going to come after me, so I ran down the street, and he pursued. He wasn't able to catch up to me, so he threw the bottle, but it didn't reach me. At that point, it was clear that he couldn't outrun me, and he was unarmed, so, while standing in the middle of the street, I turned back and yelled at him, as loud as I could, "CAO NI MA! CAO NI MA! CAO NI MA!"
I'm usually the kind of guy who never gets into fights, and I'd rather not repeat these events, but sometimes things happen.
I have asked some Police that I have met about safety in China. Most of them don't want to get involved with a foreigner since it causes them a lot of trouble. They would have to get their superiors involved therefore they are very hard on the local Chinese that causes the trouble.
I'm sure that's generally true, but I had a run-in with the cops in Beijing, not about a fight, but about whoring. I picked up an SW and we got into a taxi. Then, a police van stopped us, handcuffed the girl, and then took me and the girl, separately, to the police station. I was questioned, and ultimately fined (a real fine, with official paperwork). The girl wasn't an undercover cop, just an SW who was stupid enough to do business out in the open during a crackdown. Likewise, I'm the only monger that I know of who was stupid enough to get busted for whoring. I think it's true that the cops might be inclined to give foreigners a break, but I suppose when there's a crackdown they have their quotas or whatever.
Just to add my POV on several posts:
I agree, I'm not sure why so many White guys are whining around here. It's really not difficult to get into contact with ordinary Chinese women as a White guy in China, as long as you know some Chinese and aren't butt-ugly. In my experience it is far easier than meeting women in any Western country.
I think that's true, at least I've had better results here in China. I like to say that, here, a "beta male" becomes the "alpha male" (and a "gamma male" gets promoted to "beta male," etc.; you only go up one level, hence the variety of results we see among different men). I don't think people are whining, just comparing notes (which is the purpose of this Forum). What I might like to whine about is guys relating their experience with freebies in a way that's totally positive or totally negative, and so neither side is ever giving the whole picture. But instead of complain, I try to relate my own experience in a balanced way, showing both the positive and negative sides of the situation (although I'm sure I've biased it depending on my mood).
The only negative aspect of going out with Chinese women is all the stares you get from Chinese guys when you walk down the street with her, not that I care, but many of the girls mind.
The other negative aspect is when they start negotiating, subtly or not, about marriage or money (especially the more attractive ones). But yeah, if you're not targeting the hottest chicks, I think a lot is possible here.
I believe that the single man, Chinese or Western, in his search for freebie is actually in his own blind search for a lifetime mate.
I offer myself as an exception to the rule. I have nothing against long-term relationships, but I'd prefer a kind of sexual friendship (or friendships) that could be lifelong, but not necessarily, and aren't necessarily exclusive. Just like other friendships. Not to be too analytical, but I think it may depend on one's upbringing. If I had grown up in a two-parent household, then I suppose it would be more fixed in my mind that the "until death do us part" thing is something I must do.
I enjoy the hunt far more than the capture
I've heard many guys say this, so, once again, I seem to be the exception. I like the capture far more than the hunt. I hope I'm not weirding anyone out.
Then, a police van stopped us, handcuffed the girl, and then took me and the girl, separately, to the police station.
How did they know she was a prostitute? I would just say she was a friend. After all, they didn't bust your hotel room while you were having sex, you were just sitting in a taxi together.
I think in this situation if you had refused to pay, you would have gotten away with it.
The other negative aspect is when they start negotiating, subtly or not, about marriage or money (especially the more attractive ones). But yeah, if you're not targeting the hottest chicks, I think a lot is possible here.
Yeah, I know that shit too, like when she starts to tell you stuff like "you know, I really know how to cook a lot of meals" or nonsense like that.
What I have also experienced is that many Chinese girls when you first meet them behave in an incredibly sweet way, they make you feel sooo important etc., then after a while they become more and more bossy and demanding. You should watch how she treats arbitrary people on the street, in shops, at her workplace etc. to see how she would treat you if you got married to her.
Yeah, I know that shit too, like when she starts to tell you stuff like "you know, I really know how to cook a lot of meals" or nonsense like that.
They might do better to just cook for you than to talk about it. I'd be interested to know if anyone has had any Chinese girlfriends who really are good cooks (I mean you've tasted their cooking on several occasions and liked it). I find it puzzling how rare it is that (1) a girl can cook well, and (2) she comes up with the idea on her own to cook for the guy.
What I have also experienced is that many Chinese girls when you first meet them behave in an incredibly sweet way, they make you feel sooo important etc., then after a while they become more and more bossy and demanding. Yes, good advice.
On another topic:
How did they know she was a prostitute?
They were watching her at a well-known pick-up location for SWs (East 3rd Ring Road in Beijing). After we took off in a taxi, they tailed us and stopped us along the way. This was during a crackdown around Spring Festival 2005. The fine was 1000 RMB.
Also on another topic, looks like you didn't get much response on your posts about girls with black and blue marks, or girls from the countryside coming from abusive situations. What you're observing is not uncommon, I've seen the same things. Some of these girls have a rough life. I'm not sure there's much more to say (unless you want to get into the details of a specific case).

being a cop for many years, i know for a fact that pepper spray does not have a major effect on some people and some have delayed reactions to it (at least long enough to shank you). yet, another thing you have to worry about is wind speed and direction, spraying it with the wind blowing towards you, means you will get a taste of your own medicine. if 5 guys assault you, do you think the other 4 will stand in line waiting for their turn to be sprayed?
also, many people "talk" about what they would do in a hostile situation, but when the "shit hits the fan", it's a whole different ballgame.
just be safe and don't get yourself into a bad situation.

I think the calm guy, who is less prone to angry reactions, is also less likely to become the victim of a confrontation. Night Cat could have been hit from behind by one of the guy's friends. It's always better to stay very calm, pretend you didn't hear what was said, and start walking. Why argue with drunken morons!

How many people in China carry guns? Most Chinese guys wouldn't even be willing to stab you, since they might face the death penalty.
They might however be willing to treat you in a disrespectful way and the more muscular you are, the less likely that is to happen. It's just a primitive, ancient human psychological response from our ancestor's stone age times: Don't mess with somebody who looks like he might be able to fuck you up.

guns
actually there are lots of guns in china even with strict gun-control. they are mostly smuggled in from vietnam and south east asia. since they are hard to get and expensive, they are normally not used in petty crimes unlike the usa. big jobs like bank robberies and triad related issues with guns are more common.
http://www.fsa.ulaval.ca/personnel/vernag/eh/f/manif/lectures/the%20wild%20east.htm
"they smuggle drugs and guns and run the burgeoning sex industries of urban china".
"the police seized over 100 hand grenades and 1,500 guns of various kinds between april and august. in the country as a whole, they confirep001ed 600,000 guns, including 8,800 military weapons, between march and june. that brings the total for the past five years to an extraordinary 2.4m guns. how many more are still out there"?
more recent news was 3.8 million illegal weapons have been confirep001ed but it didn’t what type of weapons.
http://www.china.org.cn/english/china/171268.htm
overall, the amount of crime with guns is no where near the usa. the amount of money from petty crimes makes it not worth the effort and the lack of availability and cost of the guns. then the consequences if caught in china. it’s the death penalty. even with a fake gun, a guy got 19 years in a robbery.

I reckon in the You tube vid, our man Phil would have simply pulled off a scorpion kick before using his phenomenal power and muscles to snap the knife arm, rendering the would be assailant handicapped before delivering a good old American style uppercut - knocking him unconscious before binding him up and leaving a short note for the local LE.

it's a mistake to think you shouldn't defend yourself. most criminals go after the weak and are opportunists. take a [CodeWord126] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord126): if the woman submits, she will be raped, if she fights back and shouts for help, most likely the [CodeWord126] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord126) will run away. just because it's a part of chinese or east asian culture to submit to all kinds of abuse, don't think that's the smart thing to do.

... I would hit back for reasons expressed by many other members too.
I don't think so.
Let's say you walked down the street and a copy of Rowan Atkinson slapped you in the face or a copy of Shaquille O'Neal slapped you. In which case would you rather hit back?

No shit. There are an estimated 20 Million guns in Germany, despite gun control. Still I don't know of anybody who has been robbed with a gun. I do know of people who have been beaten up, though.
I remember once while in Greece, a man pushed me, so I pushed him back, he pushed me again so, I punched him in his pie hole and laid him out flat. Suddenly, I had 6 Greek fellows throwing punches at me because I hurt one of their fellow countrymen.
I assure you Phil1980 (are you 27?) that if a guy wants to tangle with a fellow of your size and muscularity, he's gonna have a few buddies with him. Sure, it might be risky for him, but the reward might be worth it since they think we are all walking banks.
If you can totally assure yourself it's a fair fight, then ***** slap his ass, but I highly doubt he would put himself in a position to give you the advantage.

I think Mr Muscles Tough Guy who says, "I ain't scared of nobody" or "I ain't gonna take that fuckin shit", is more likely to get involved in a bad situation and to become confrontational, and is therefore more likely to become a victim.
The more timid guy will avoid dangerous situations and will walk away when it is the smart thing to do.
In my opinion, it does help if you are a big tough white/black foreigner over 6'5" and built like a football player. Most likely they will LEAVE YOU ALONE or get out of the situations easier (walk away). Then the consequences of being caught and the authorities are more likely to react. The penalties on crimes commit against foreigners are harder than for locals, but most guys are not that big. Then if guns or knifes are involved, then size doesn't matter as much. I wonder where you put your money on, three little pigs with knifes or one big bad wolf.
The negative part of being a big foreigner in China, most girls will think big guy, big dick, too much pain and NO f..k'en way!
Most likely they will LEAVE YOU ALONE
Who is "they"? Maybe we are talking about two different countries.
Many of you here seem to have had experiences of being attacked or beaten up on the street by groups of armed thugs in China. Strange that I haven't had any such experiences, and I'm no 6'5" football player. Maybe I'm just lucky.
BTW, here is a report how you can kill a person just using your head:

In all of my years in Southern and SE Asia, I have never heard about a "Pattaya of China". it sounds like the perfect place for me. Can anyone help me on this one? I'd love to learn more about it and go there.

It was Hainan Island. This was the most extensive *****house area with girls from all over China. Someone said to me that you would find at least one girl beneath each tree on the beach in those days!

My MO is to avoid confrontation at all costs. I posted about an incident on the SZ thread where I witnessed 5-6 thugs kick the shit out of a SW over a minor territorial issue with another SW. The SW made a call, the thugs pulled up in a taxi, proceeded to beat the SW until she laid on the ground nearly dead and then jumped back in the taxi and left.
The same can happen to you if you engage a local guy in a fight.
I agree that it is best to swallow your pride, take the lumps and walk away safe.
Just my POV.

P.S. Most of the crime in China is petty stuff. I was pickpocketed once and several of my friends were also pickpocketed on buses and subways. Another buddy was mugged in an underpass by 4 guys with knives. Ladies get bags/necklaces clipped on the streets and in restaurants.

I have been researching it for months but I cannot get a link between Pattaya and China that mentions such a city. I had found Hainan and was disappointed that it is merely a shadow of its former self and I have seen so much good reporting on Shenzen that I was actually hoping that that was the place. I had seen that there were periodic raids but was under the illusion? that the raids come and go.
Thanx for the reply. I'll enclose a couple of pix of a Thai/Lao gal as a token of my gratitude. I met her in BKK and was there last week but she had been bought out.

Yes, I agree with the "sadly" because it was supposedly legal there and was close enough tto BKK to be convenient, although my initial airline searches revealed that it was a two plane trip, with long layovers. I am trying to find a BKK/Pattaya kind of place that will interest me for longer periods of time as I am bored with BKK. its traffic, heat, dirt, increasingly lousy attitudes of the girls(more and more like CR girls, no GFE) ets. angeles City is great but I can't seem to want to stay there more than 3-4 days. chinese gals just rock my boat and I am hoping that the GFE is there too but never having been there, I am at a loss as to city and decent hotel in that city.
Thanx for the reply--here are a couple of pix of a very naughty BKK girl that, sadly was a starfish. Too bad because she had that delicious Daisy Fuentes look.
The problem with fighting someone is China is that
1. you get beat up by other guys.
2. You get stab by one or more guys.
3. you beat up the smaller guy and hurt him badly and you get arrested.
4. worst case, you kill the guy by accident and spend the rest of your life in a Chinese jail.
Just walk away and be safe. You have nothing to proof.

While Hainan had the girls from all over China and cheap and ready sex was available, China is never like Pattaya / Bangkok. There have never been go-gos nor beer bars. Chinese mongering is a combination of SWs. BBS and KTVs and if you learn how to mix it in well, its more than A-OK.
The scene and style is different but the pussy was plenty and varied crawling all over you in Hainan then. Pity I missed it too!

Hey,
I forgot to ask you what the "spoon fed" was all about? I had already searched the site extensively and came up empty. If you were criticizing me as I see many old timers, that have nothing better to do, then send back the pictures that I gave to you LOL.
Ya' know, actually I tried Google, by linking Pattaya and China together and found it to be Shenzhen.

Just saying, it don't take much research to figure out where the fun places are in S. China. Yeah, this old timer has banged so many hotties here, he has lost count. The only thing this old geezer has better to do, is keep banging the girls here, so you tourists only get sloppy seconds LOL.
Seriously, Shenzhen was great, until the raids came, but you can still find high quality gals there behind the Seibu Dept Store in Luohu. Also the Pink Apts in Luohu can be good, but steer away from the ones by the Shangri-La Hotel and down the street to the McDonalds.
Guangzhou sucks for FS action.

Those guys appear very reasonable, I always thought most young Chinese people just mindlessly believe what is taught to them by "the authorities".
I signed up for a free account on CFF (chinesefriendfinder), and found that, while I can receive messages from women on the site, I am not allowed to open the messages and read them. Instead, I get the "Order Form." In that case, I would say that CFF is completely useless to me, unless I fork over whatever money is required to enable reading messages -- however, the Order Form does not say what option I must buy in order to be able to read messages. So, I could conceivably pay for a Gold or Silver membership and still not be able to read messages. This would not be unusual considering AFF/CFF's way of doing business. A few years ago, I had a Gold membership on AFF, and then they tried to sell me an extra service option called "Allow Standard Contacts," that cost extra, to allow Standard members to send messages to me. So, you don't necessarily get full capabilities with Gold.
I have no problem with having to pay for a subscription if that's what's required. The problem is the deceptive practice whereby they don't say clearly what membership level, or what additionally-priced option, is required to read messages from others.
I would be interested to know if anyone has a free membership on CFF and can open and read messages when other members initiate contact with them. If you have that capability, I may be curious to know if your account was originally opened as a free account on CFF, or if perhaps your capabilities were "grandfathered" over from an AFF account, or from a previous non-free account.
For now, it would appear that anyone who opens a new, free account on CFF will not be able to open and read messages from women who initiate contact with them.

I've been a CFF member since 2001, Silver Membership should be enough to contact any other members.
I've been a CFF member since 2001, Silver Membership should be enough to contact any other members.
My question is not about being able to contact other members. I can already do that. The question is about being able to open and read the messages they send me. I cannot do that.
What I'm saying is that new accounts are being treated differently from old accounts. Yours is an old account, so what's true for you is different from what's true for me. I also had an old account (which was mysteriously disabled) and I had full two-way email capability, even without paying for Silver or Gold membership. Not so with my new account.
If there is anyone with a new account (e.g., created later than the AFF/CFF switch), please share your experience.
What I'm saying is that new accounts are being treated differently from old accounts.
This is possible. I have a similar problem with my QQ accounts.
I have one QQ account I opened in 2002 and I can use it without paying to look at any profiles in the QQ friendship center I want.
I also have a second account, opened in 2004, because I had exceeded the 500 members you can add to your QQ and so couldn't add any new girls. With this account I can't view profiles anymore without first paying a monthly QQ fee. So when I want to look at profiles of girls I log in to both my QQ accounts simultaneously and use the old one for looking up profiles.
I can’t tell ya how to get higher ratios for dates – bedded, 'you figure that one out. But here are a few good to know things.
I have 4 profiles there, I’ve worked that site hard over 4 years. All are free & all able to send the 10 winks & / or messages a day & read any I get in return. The newest is 1. 5 years old, oldest over 4, never been a paid member.
My buddy just opened a free account a couple days ago, (07/10/03) after an hour and a half, they approved him & he’s been getting & receiving messages without troubles as well as all other site stated free things.
All of these have been opened with China being the country profile person resides in.
Now they enforce the No email / phone number until the third message policy.
-if you’re getting messages sent to your bulk box & once ya open them, they have an explanation about the site policy, but nothing from the sender, it means she put her email or phone number in it.
-The bot checks for keywords, chat, email, phone, com, mobile, yahoo, MSN & so on. Then deletes the message, either from her or you if you put those words in a sent message she was unable to read. 'Check your bulk folder to see who you may have missed
Their HTML chat program won’t let you put in email or outside contact in either, there you can do it separate sends; me – send – at – send – wherever – send..com – send.
You can save to draft any messages over 10 a day, then to send it 24 hours later, open it, copy it, open her profile & paste your message in a new message box. If you try sending a draft, it says it costs you 200 points.
I’ve noticed profiles saying they can’t send because of non-paying status & wondered about it.
They give points & short time silver member status for putting up more pics of yerselfs. I’ve never knowingly done anything with the points.
Change your profile in little ways once a week & you’ll be put on top of the new members list, changing your main photo works great. Do this when not expecting many lookers as it may take up to a day to get approved.
Change your "living in" city / province once in a while & you’ll get a whole new batch of fems looking & sending pre-interview type messages.
Save profile names that gave you contact info in a separate document if possible so when they delete the message after 30 days you can still contact her if ever nearby, and so you later know who LinnaGZ is on your mobile phone. This also works great for remembering little details for future messages months later.
Like another member wrote, it’s good to write up a letter that can be tweaked a little for each fem to send to many, once you find one that works, your reply ratio gets pretty good.
Chinese women love it if a man will travel to see Her! (spends money to get there) They gotta be traditional & also always have that hope to "catch" you, so very often, you’re not getting it the first night.
But if you’re a foreigner, you Are an animal with an unquenchable thirst for da kine, so you Have To at least ask And let her turn you down or she will think you may not love her. (if sex was prearranged, 'go for it)
Be patient & wait till morning.
She’ll be there to pick you up for the days plans. That’s when you get what ya come for, specially the 35 & up.
So. Look at cities a couple hour bus, train or short flight away & book two nights if possible.
Many cannot say no to an offered plane ticket around China, are/t tickets can be found for fair prices.
The profiles stating they Only look for a husband & that type are quiet possible for affairs, many will do what is needed when they can to "change you", "be the one" or "catch" a good husband. But beware of the headaches that often follow these women.
Many, Many women there use paid translators!
Often, it’s a young girl with fair English, possibly working for a middle aged women charging for the service and sending a lot of letters to men hoping for replies that need translating. Often, the lady paying will get tired of replying to many men & tell the translator to just 'find me a husband. So think about some of the replies & wonder who wrote them, relatively small % of 30+ year old women know English very well throughout China.
Another friend does well writing women & telling them he has friends back home interested in a Chinese wife & he wants to take her to dinner (as a gentleman) to see if she might be the one fate brought.
Try to see her on cam before meeting, often they don’t look quite like you thought. On cam, "want me to help you" means show.
My very bad guy profile only shows me who has winked or hot listed me, possibly cause it may be said that I’ve sent some pretty bad things to many fems, doesn’t show all the lookers, the other profiles show me. But this profile shows me which fems are naughty or not, I (unknowing to her) work the ones with positive responses to very naughty letters a month or so later with my other profile.
My college girl profile allows me to get email addresses from naughty supposed bi or gay fems.
My real profile needs changing, not as productive as it should be lately.
My near real profile has been keeping me face as wet as I choose.
A/CFF been betty betty good to me
I write this report will All respect to the lovely women in China. I truly love them & in person treat them as the people they are.

Hello Friends. I have a friend who wants to bring his Filapina to the US. After almost 2 years of trying to arrange a fiance visa, which for some reason has gone nowhere, he is now trying to get her a tourist visa. His story is this; she knows someone who is somehow connected to, or has connections with, the US Embassy. For $1200 this agent can arrange for her to get a tourist visa. Also, she must have a minimum of $2000 in her bank account.
My friend has already been sending her money every month for the past two years, and now this.
I have warned him that she might be scamming him and this could be another scam, but he says "I want to marry her and how can I get her a visa to the US if I don't trust her"?
This guy doesn't have much money and dealing with this has already been financially difficult for him.
He said he will marry her as soon as she arrives and then she will be able to stay. I told him I think she will have to leave when the tourist visa expires.
Is it possible that she can get a tourist visa for $1200? She is just another typical filapina without a higher education or special skills.
Also, if she arrives in the US on a tourist visa, can he then quickly marry her and keep her in the US legally?
Please keep your replies polite and remember my friend may be reading your answers.
Thanks.
For the same money and less, why don't your friend just fly over there and marry her? See what her attitude is then. Now she's locked into him and he into her.
Now it may take just as long (if not longer, not as a fiancee) to get a Visa, but now you're, eh, I mean your friend is one step closer to his goal.
Good luck Santa.
Bill

No, it is illegal to marry someone who comes over on a tourist visa, they are supposed to return to their home country then reapply for a K-1 or K-3 Visa. Your buddy could get in a lot of trouble if they find out his intended purposes and at the least draw a red flag.
If he is so sincere about marrying her, tell him to do the Fiancee Visa (K-1), when she gets to the states, he has 90 days to marry her. I think within 3 months he can tell if she is scamming him or not. This would also kind of make her "shit or get off the pot", because if she gets over there and tries to scam him within 90 days, all he has to do is wave the magic deportation wand and she will be sent home.

Santa,
There is a big sign in front of the US Consulate office in GZ where visas are processed that basically says that no individual or company has any "relationship" or "connection" with the U. S. Government regarding visa applications. And, as far as I have been told by friends working in the visa section, all the companies ("agents") with offices nearby claiming otherwise are just scams. If you cannot get a visa on your own merits, they cannot help other than to fill in the forms. The visa officers are not stupid. They have seen every possible angle imaginable. And, the risk is too high for them to mess around.
For tourist visas, they are looking for a reason for the applicant to return. A steady job. A spouse and children here. Money in the bank should have been accumulated over time.
Having said all that, a fiance visa should work especially if they have a record of communication for 2 years; photos, letters, emails, phone calls, etc.
Just my POV.

To add to OAH's informative post, I've worked and talked extensively with people in the visa section of the US Consulate in GZ and the best way to sum up their point of view is "guilty until proven innocent". Applicants have the burden to make a case why they SHOULDN'T get rejected, instead of why they SHOULD get a visa.
And there is no realistic way to bribe your way into a visa because the system is too decentralized to bribe the proper people in China AND the in US to get it approved smoothly. You'd have a better chance with human traffickers physically smuggling a person to the US vs. a bought visa.

No, it is illegal to marry someone who comes over on a tourist visa, they are supposed to return to their home country then reapply for a K-1 or K-3 Visa. Your buddy could get in a lot of trouble if they find out his intended purposes and at the least draw a red flag.
-CPENot wanting to contradict CPExpat entirely, though i know that one can get married on a visit visa, or a student visa. The key is intent: if you enter on a visit visa to marry that is fraud, but if you enter to visit or study and later change your mind to get married that is legal. Of course if you come on a visit visa and a week later you are married, that will raise flags! After marriage then you have to file for an adjustment of status.

Hello,
right now I talked to a bar girl via MSN messenger. She informed me that in many major Chinese cities there are hidden cameras installed on the streets. She was referring specifically to the Gongbei District of Zhuhai city. Anybody got any infos on that?

A few weeks ago there was a big story about it in the business section of the NY Times. The companies involved are using western financing.
There are now thousands of white poles being installed in Shenzhen and the cameras will soon follow. Eventually the cameras will be installed in every chinese city. It includes a sophisticated "crowd assemble" detection system.
This is just the beginning. Big Brother is watching YOU!

Possible scenarios:
Cameras are already stolen
Wires to the cameras are stolen
Cameras are not connected to any monitor
Personal in the control rooms prefer to watch soap on TV
Personal in the control room either out for lunch or sleeping
Personal in the control room does not know how to record
Personal in the control room does not know how to view recordings
At that point I wouldn't worry too much.

as you know santa , the uk has cameras and i have never heard on tv any negative comments on it. but china is not the uk. i do know that beijing is nervous about "crowd assembly" . so i think the cameras would be used for this.
anyone who is nervous about these cameras being used for prostitution , i think govt officials should worry the most. they are the biggest users of prostitution in china. i just don't think they want to do anything about the prostitution business.
my question: my ex gf from nanning ask me for 900 rmb a year ago because she told me the cameras caught her going thru red lights and speeding. this would tell me that guangxi and guandong already have cameras. i did not beleive her and i did not send her the money. anyone have info on cameras for traffic control ? these would be very complicated cameras only because the traffic in these two areas are total fucking chaos. thanks

most of the new highways and big city intersections have cameras installed. speeding is 200rmb, red lights, 500rmb. other offence fines vary. they just send you the citation in the mail and you have to go with your driver's license to pay the fine. i already got 2 speeding and 1 red light, but i asked somebody else to use their license to pay the fines for me.

Many of the city villages I have been in to checkout BBS's have had cameras in place for quite sometime in Shenzhen. I was with Race Track once in CP (Yalan Area) and a police van came by, opened a side window, out popped a big camera and then the window shut and the van continued on. I didn't have a xiaojie in tow, but Race Track had a young cutie.

Some of you may remember me from the SZ forum. I haven't posted much because I have nothing useful to add and was sometimes ridiculed for my opinions and knowledge, but who cares, I'm a big boy, and I still read the threads.
I have a question about SZ hotels-and here's the go. Some may remember that I have a little penfriend who I speak to via email/chat etc. She is the one I wanted to bring to Aus, but her parents won't let her go as they haven't a clue where Australia is, and don't understand my motives. Anyway, my wife and I are going to Singapore, Macau, HK and China next year-just 2 days in China, and I have offered to fly my friend's parents down from deepest rural China to SZ, to spend a day with us at a few attractions, so we can meet them and they can see what we are like, and hopefully let their daughter come to Australia the following year to study English. Before any of you sick bastards start again, she's not an unattractive girl, but not exactly the kind of girl one would use one's wife and her parents to shag, so this is genuine. We never had kids, for one reason or another, and her parents are the same age as us. I want to help this girl, not fuck her.
So, we all have to stay at a hotel in SZ, plus my friend's friend, who wants to meet my wife too. Last time I was there, the girls paid for their own room at the hotel I was at, and although it was pretty shit ( Golden Luster I think in Lohu), they were amazed as it was the first time they had ever stayed in a hotel. The shower was a novelty to them, and having seen their accommodation in the factory where they work, I am not surprised.
Her parents are just ordinary working people, and I am going to pay for them to stay in a hotel overnight, along with the rest of us. Money is an option, but let's face it, hotels in China are pretty good value compared to Aus etc. The questions I have to ask are thus:
How far upmarket should I go? My wife and I want something fairly decent, but at what level does the added luxury cease to mean anything for Chinese people? That sounds awfully condesending, but you know, 3 star, 4 star, what's the difference?
Bearing that in mind, any recommendations? I have done plenty of searches and don't mind spending up to 60USD/night/room, especially because the USD is almost =to the AU$ at the moment.
All the hotels I checked out look fine, but as we all know, in reality sometimes what you see is not what you get. So guys, please, any ideas?
Cheers

If you don't give a shit about KTV, restaurant or any of the other nice things, then just find a 3 or 4 star. Contact via PM and I can tell you my corporate rate at a few hotels in town from 5 Star to 3 Star.

tile manthere are all kinds of traffic camera in china. i have been driving in shanghai. suzhou and area for 5 years now. infact if you look closely on the licence plates between the two letters. after the chinese character designating where the car is from you will see a small silver disc. this disc is a chip and can be tracked at any highway tool booth. it is used to help focus the camera and record the licence (invented by sony) i was stopped at a toll gate on highway g318 (west of shanghai) and shown a picture of my car on the a1 highway to pudong airport. i had broken the speed limit. only 10 km over so only 100 rmb.
your gf telling you she need 900 rmb for running a red light is false. the fine is 200 rmb and you pay on the spot. (ihave had to pay 2 already) other chinese friends have confirmed this too.
i have been in university campases where the cameras can spot you anywhere on campus. i have seen the massive control rooms. with dozens of monitors an guards sitting at them. they claim they canot see you in the dormitory but i would not bet on that.
if you are worried about the cameras the safest place is to use the service provided by the hotel. i have an apartment in shanghai but hesitate to bring them back here. i do not wnat them to know the location of my residence. could become a bothersome factor.
i have found that the hotel 169. on wuning lu and wuding lu to be very girl friendly. they have a good massage parlour on the 3rd floor. room service is 650 rmb and i have had some 8 and 9's one i had in particular. she is gone now (ling ling)- would love to find her again. phone is out of service too. suspect she went back to her hometown. but she could do a bbbjcim in your mouth like no other. she would first start with a tongue massage over your whole body including a great rim job, and then prodeed with a bbbjcim or fs.
enjoy shanghai and do not woryy too much about cameras unless you drive!

In order to know exchange rates you may go to http://www.xe.com/ucc/
There you find all exchange rates, in case you decide to visit some other mongering destination.
As far as prices, normally all amounts mentioned here are in local currency, i.e. RMB. In order to understand what is price level for different mongering opportunities, I strongly suggest you read Shanghai thread.

Ted C. Fishman’s China Inc. is a fascinating look at the new China. It touches briefly on mongering. It seems Chinese men don’t like using condoms, at least when out mongering. This might be a boon for those wanting bareback FS, but obviously risks are involved. Reportedly there are close to a million HIV positive Chinese (out of perhaps 1.6 billion). There is also a Baby Boom among sex workers. In the City of Shenzen alone there were 520,000 out of wedlock children under 20 born to “working women” and mistresses in 2001. And China has between 100 and 160 cities with populations of over a million. There must be millions of providers. I may have to look into airfare prices.

The quickest and still quite accurate way to evaluate RMB costs into € is calculating approx 11% of the RMB for the € cost.
It is not scientifically correct as you need approx 91/92RMB to make 10€ but you will get an idea [rule of thumb]
Do not forget that a strict comparison TMB/€ migh mislead you as, in theory, local prices (of anything) should be much cheaper than the same product back home. Again not a rule, but a guidance, as it also depends on the product.
I am pretty sure after a short time (not meaning a ST! lol) you will think in RMB and forget the exchange rate, unless you feel being cheated, such as being asked 3000 RMB for a LT :)
The quickest and still quite accurate way to evaluate RMB costs into € is ...
The quickest way is still to go to Google, and type in something like "exchange rate, currency" as the search criteria, and then do your own search. I am amazed that people are that lazy to do their own work, even more amazed at people who are actually willing to help out such lazy bastards.

The quickest way is to go to google.com and type in "eur in rmb" (without the parentheses) or "eur in usd" or "usd in rmb" or e.g. "usd in krw" for Korean Won or "usd in jpy" for Japanese Yen. You can repeat this trick for any number of major currencies, rates are updated by Google on a daily basis. Just don't forget to not type the parentheses, just type eur in usd.

Here is an article I found...
China is in the news again for making unsafe products.
According to news reports in and out of China, used condoms are being recycled into hair bands in southern China, threatening to spread sexually-transmittable diseases (STDs) they were originally meant to prevent.
No company was named in the article as the manufacturer, but a government official said recycling condoms is illegal in China.
The rubber hair bands and hair ties were found in local markets and beauty salons in the cities of Dongguan and Guangzhou in China's southern Guangdong province.
One of China's news agencies reported that the cheap and coloful rubber bands and hair braids made from the used condoms were selling well -- a bag of ten of them sell for 25 fen, which is equivalent to about 3 cents in the U.S. -- but they pose a genuine threat to the health of those using them because, despite being recycled, the used condom bands and ties could still contain bacteria and viruses.
"People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while weaving their hair into plaits or buns," according to a local dermatologist whose surname, appropriately enough in this context, was Dong.
With millions of toys being recalled in the U.S. and elsewhere for lead paint and other health-threatening problems, toothpaste being recalled, etc., China's manufacturing industy has been having a well-earned tough time.
China's authorities did a good job on the recycled condoms thing by quickly acting to take them out of circulation before they spread to more Chinese cities and before they found overseas markets. It is beginning to look as though China is serious about strengthening is monitoring systems, but the government still has a long way to go before overseas businesses and consumers regain confidence in its products.

I would love to know who and how they collect these little hair braids. I always did flush mine down the WC. Seeing that China only process about 5% of its shit , I wonder how they do this. I hope they don't make some poor guy sort through thie shit everyday.

Guys, please play it safe at all times and do not give in to temptation. A couple of times which I did not play it safe, the b*t*h made me sweat really hard for a few days that I decided not to do it again.
It one of the threads under China, one of the guys provided detailed information about the pill for ‘morning after’. Even a picture of what the pack looks like, I copied it, printed it, and carry it with me at all times. If I put myself in a compromising situation, I pull out the copy I have, add money to it and send her on her way the very next day.

Do you guys know what are some of the countries (besides Thailand) that are 'relatively' easier for Chinese to visit, especially if it means getting a visa just by them self? I'm open to anywhere besides the Americas for the trip. Thanks.

My understanding is that when obtaining a Chinese passport, it would be for a specific destination. It will not be an open passport that would allow you to become a traveler, even with visas. If I am wrong on this, please someone correct me.
I keep reading posts that remind me of myself as recently as last year. Yes, thought about it, looked into it, followed up, and finally decides that no, that was not for me. I realized that taking one of these cuties traveling with you could be a lot of fun but she will be your sole responsibility. God forbid something happened, if something went wrong, how about if she decided to show the other side of her, half a world away, etc. To be honest, some of the cuties I have been with who have been absolutely very lovely, sexy, playful, ……. have been most clumsy. Yes, not only you have to pick and clean after them, which I happily oblige, but you may not leave them alone in a crowd other that, what they are used to. You have to hold on to her hand constantly, even in a Chinese crowd, she’ll be looking helplessly for you to go and rescue her.
My advice is that a long weekend, a week long, in one the local or near tourist’s attractions would do. Believe it or not, the Chinese have not seen or experience most of their own country yet so why go so far and when she is happy, you would be happy. One other thing, what is she going to do about her diet, ... poor gal, she’ll blow up from constipation.
I'm looking to possible take a particularly fabulous freebie on a vacation overseas.
Do you guys know what are some of the countries (besides Thailand) that are 'relatively' easier for Chinese to visit, especially if it means getting a visa just by them self? I'm open to anywhere besides the Americas for the trip. Thanks.

It is quite easy to get visa to Malaysia and Singapore too if she is from one of the big cities like Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. Hong Kong and Macau are other alternatives.

The Chinese can now get passports easily, but must be all done at their home town. However, they can only travel to "Approved Destinations" by the government and in nearly all cases that will involve Visa's and organised travel in groups. There are some exceptions whereby they can travel without groups, notably Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and I think Indonesia. But this is China and what applies today will be different tomorrow and then probably back dated.
Chinese passports are not dedicated to a single destination, so as long as you can get a visa you're good to go. As reported below Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore are pretty ease, and most any travel agent can get a visa in a day or two. Austrailia and Europe are much more difficult, requiring letters of invitation, bank reports (usually 50,000 RMB on deposit for at least six months), interviews, etc. Ireland is probably the easiest visa to obtain in Europe, but still will require most of the above. Of course some countries will just not allow unmarried females to visit. America is by far the hardest visa to obtain.
For mainland Chinese to visit HK and Macau they must have a special travel permit (looks much like a passport, but is different). These are easier to obtain, especially if you have some guanxi. Most businesses can obtain a certain number of HK permits, depending on how much tax they pay.
I say "go for it". It's fantastic to travel with the proper companion.
Vietnam is high on many Chinese travelers list these days too, an easy visa for them to get.
If a Chinese wants to visit a big country in their future, having been to the easy ones And returning to Chinawill help get approved. An empty passport is hard to put a visa in.
What Furias said.
He covers the "obtain visa on herself" part quite well. I'd pick Thailand.
Now, supposedly, this country is all about face. Wouldn't it rate more face, apart from being the chivalrous thing, that he HELPS her getting the visa? Would cement his laowei status, and dispel ideas on her part that she could get the thing by herself.
In the "obtain visa with your help" dept., the easiest is to carry her passport to the travel bureau :)
Obtaining the coveted Schengen Visa (covering most of the civilized parts of Europe) is not THAT complicated if you have (or work for) a European company, preferably one that has a presence in China. The process requires a letter of invitation to the fair maiden, and a letter to the Embassy of the respective European country, in which the inviting company assures that they will bear all costs (travel, lodging) and assume responsibility. The Chinese lady will need a letter from her current employer, setting her free for the duration of the trip, and health insurance (coverage usually being peddled outside of EU embassies in Beijing.) You need to be sure that she will return, if she won't, your company pays. No bank deposits needed. Schengen carries a lot of face. And a trip to Venice, Rome, Paris would sweep the little rascal off her pretty feet.
Highest in the face dept would be the US visa. LittleGoomba rules that out, and it's most likely not the price of the ticket that stops him. As mentioned, America is pretty much off-limits for unmarried females of the Chinese persuasion. Even marrying a US citizen doesn't assure instant admission, there are horror stories about lawfully wedded couples having to wait for years ...
In any case, make sure that the visa application is not denied. Being denied once pretty much closes access to that country forever.

An empty passport is hard to put a visa in.This suggestion might need a little asterisk. Although logically speaking, proving that you return on time from another country gives an impression that you're trustworthy. However, going to a country that is not 'economically' on par to your own doesn't exactly speak much. Ie. The grass is definitely not greener on that side.
Fact: I have a Chinese colleague whose been to at least eight different countries, many of them in europe, and stayed in cananda for 6mos with a student visa. Each time she returned on schedule. She then applied to visit good ol' u. S. Of a and got denied all three times.
So filling your passport with stamps doesn't necessarily help much, plus it is not even on the suggestions from the US immigration folks. So just stick to the guidelines and just pray, pray like hell!

Praying will not work. According to friends in the visa section of the U.S. Consulate in GZ, they are still denying 90% of visa applications after 9/11. The "risk of no return" is too high for a visa officer to take any chances. An applicant only gets 2 minutes to make their case, hardly enough to even say "Hello", "My name is". They process 1,000+ applications a day. Unfortunately, after the first denial, it can become more difficult. Contrary to popular opinion, they keep records of the denials. On the other hand, if you manage to get the first visa and return, subsequent applications are much easier.
Just my POV.

I asked a school mate who has retired from the U.S. Diplomatic Corp, and who used to be one of these front line guys handling Visa applications how he determines who to accept and who to reject. His answer - Gut feeling and his instincts first and foremost. Documentation, proof, letters etc are basic - but always subject to suspicion as they've come across too many of them to put trust in.
First tip off for him - if an applicant is too eager, talk too much without being prompted. 2nd the general demeanour of applicant and how agitated/nervous AND how dressed! 3rd - overly reliant on a single or couple letters or documents. 4th how the applicant reacts to/reply on certain standard questions that he had devised himself. And last and foremost - his gut feeling again

Alot of great info being passed along on this board, all of which is going to help me make a more informed decision about where to travel.
The face thing isn't really a big issue in this case. This freebie is as close to an unofficial girlfriend that I have and since she's in my equal (and surpasses me) in more things than I care to admit, she couldn't give a rat's ass about being impressed. We just enjoy each other's company.
So why I did bring it up in the first place? It's ME who is sick of vacationing in country!!! So if I can rest my bones in a nice exotic locale for a few weeks and invite a good friend and lover along to boot with a minimum of fuss...sounds like a winning plan, eh?
At this point I'm leaning towards Singapore, Cheju Island (Korea), or Bali.

Spot on! My friend told me about a case where an applicant had an official acceptance letter from Princeton University and applied for a student visa. He denied the visa and asked the applicant to request Princeton University to send the letter directly to the Consulate before she applies again. This is the only way he can be sure the letter is legit. She was successful the second time.

Guys, I have a very good friend here in China. She's young, single, owns no home, works for herself, and... is dying. The doctors here have given her about 10 to 12 more months. Her condition is terminal, but she is not contagious or any danger to those around here. Before she is gone she would love a chance to visit the U.S. one time. Based on the rejection rate of the applicants, should she even try? Does she have any chance? If she was to bring her medical reports to the consulate, would they have any bearing on the issuance of a visa? Thank you!

Her chances are approaching zero. No need to expose herself to additional stress in her condition.

I heard that you can leave a $5000 deposit to get a visa (deposit returned when the visa holder returns). Contact the U.S. consulate in Beijing and explain the situation.

I haven't heard anything about posting a $5000 bond for a visa, and there's nothing on the US govt. Web site about this being a part of the visa process. Letters of invitation are helpful, but only a small part of the US visa process. Likewise the guarantee of a US citizen doesn't help much (if any). The main thing the embassy/consulate is looking for is wealth/family ties in China that will certainly guarantee the return of the individual. A car is usually not enough. Sometimes even a family and home is not enough. One mainland factory owner I know (married, with kids and wife here in China) tried three times before they gave him a visa. As we have mentioned as an unmarried female her chances are really less than zero. Maybe you could just get her into Mexico and come across like every other factory worker in California.
It's too bad that this tourist visa process is so screwed up. A guarantee from a US citizen should be enough.

One other thing about the pill is that it would make the woman miserable for a few days. I think about five days, to the woman, it is like having her period three, five times stronger, the older she is, the stronger reaction. You do not want to be there to watch her suffering that much because you keep feeling guilty because you were the reason for that.
Next time I may have one on me. Why keep a copy of what it looks like when I could have it for that reasonable price.
Could someone volunteer to read the instructions on the pack in Chinese and translate that for the rest of us please? It would be greatly appreciated.
B*ss*ove, that was good news.

I will be backpacking/mongering throughout asia for a year. I'd like to stay at least a month or two in China or Mongolia. Which country is best for mongering? My daily budget is only $80 a day, so I need to get some cheap sex like the locals get. I can be a tough negotiator and I will have the time to search for pussy, so I think it can be done.
I'm thinking about mongolia because mongolia is poorer so I guess that means pussy should be slightly cheaper, right? I'm kind of worried that pussy will cost too much in China. So I need to look at other options.

You should spend more time in the Mongolian grassland. Lots of cheap pussies there. Sometime they even give you free warm milk.

First, there is no US Consulate in Beijing, there's an Embassy.
Second, they haven't heard of the bond.
Third, this issue may have come up because there are organized travel groups / tours. Getting the visa is part of the service. If a tour member bails/stays while abroad, the travel agency can close their business, because they will never ever get another visa application through. So the agency often requests a bond. The bond depends on individual circumstances, attachable assets at home etc. But I have heard amounts between 10000 and 50000 Euros (which gives you an idea of the real market value of a visa.) There are millionaire factory owners who's only chance of getting a visa is one of those tours. And they can afford forfeiting the bond ....
Once, while in Europe, a girl I knew from Beijing (rich snotty parents) called me and said she's in-country. She was on one of those "15 countries in 5 days" tours. I picked her up at the hotel, showed here around, and delivered her back. In the meantime, she was reported as "missing," and the tour guide nearly suffered a heart attack.

Man fired for buying sex in China
Published: 20th November 2007 08:51 CET
A man who was sacked after being arrested for buying sex from two prostitutes while on a business trip to China is taking his former employer to court with the support of his union.
The man, who worked for a large Swedish technology company, was held in a Chinese prison for 15 days after the arrest, Metro reports. His company was forced to fly a replacement to China.
The man, who had worked at the company for 33 years was later sacked. The firm claimed that the episode had damaged its "century-old reputation."
The man is now suing his employer in the Swedish Labour Court. He is supported by his union, IF Metall, which claims that the man was not arrested in the course of his work, and there were therefore no grounds for his dismissal.
The union is also critical of the company for not investigating whether it was possible to move him within the firm.
There is no such bond. If there were, every rich Chinese person and their brother would post it and then never return. Tour companies do, however, post some kind of bond with the U.S. consulate/embassy, although it's much, much higher than $5000.
There IS a U.S. consulate in Beijing, the two are just not distinguished in terms of location. The consulate handles visas and that kind of stuff, the embassy handles U.S. relations with China and U.S. interests in China. They occupy the same basic set of buildings.
Some comments NOT referring to tourist visas, but rather longer term visas for work and such. Also it is hearsay as I have not gone through the process myself. My understanding is that if you make a USD 100k investment in the U.S. and/or create employment for over 5 people, then you can get a visa that can eventually be turned into a green card. A friend negotiated this through a lawyer and not personally at an embassy. Back in '97, there were many HK residents scared of the handover that did this in the US, Canada and Australia. Anyway, probably not relevant to the original question so I'll stop. Cheers.

Hey guys,
I read through the FF, but no info on hotels.
I have stayed in great hotels in Changping and Zhu Hai with the bedroom having full view into the bathroom as the wall is glass. Awesome mongering locations and less than 300RMB per night.
Can anyone recommend a similar hotel in Harbin?
Failing that I am wondering the best area to look for hotels, if anyone has a good local knowledge on this it would be great. Basically the most lively area would be perfect.
Any info is greatly, greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!

Yo Black,
Don't you know it's like..... negative 30 degrees up there in Harbin right now??? You're gonna have to get a couple girls every night just to keep from freezing to death in your sleep..... As for hotels, you're probably looking for something in the Nangang area. Someone told me the Jinghu Hotel is very nice, but I've never been there so can't say for sure.

Perhaps she should try a combination of actions, based on the useful comments you have already received here from others:
First, marry someone in China. Then she will not be a risk to marry someone in the US and become an ongoing problem for Condi!
Second, join an organized tour group for her trip to the US. Then the tour group leader will be expected to help Condi get your friend safely back to China!
If this plan is successful, I wish your friend a very good trip, and hope that the US will be as good for her as many people in China imagine it will be! And best of luck to you, Scorpio.

BEIJING, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- About 38 million Chinese are carrying the hepatitis C virus (HCV), but public understanding of the disease is low, said the China Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control (CFHPC) here on Thursday.
The incidence of hepatitis C has surged in the past few years, said a CFHPC report.
The disease was identified in 1989, and research found that a majority of its infections became chronic and led to liver disorders, including cancer.
The Ministry of Health said early this month that hepatitis C was one of China's top five deadly epidemics.
But the public is not well informed about the disease, the CFHPC said, citing its latest survey that indicated only 1 percent of the respondents were aware of how HCV spreads and how to prevent it. Only 5 percent have had a test for HCV.
No HCV vaccine is available, yet 80 percent of those surveyed believed that they could be protected against hepatitis C by a vaccine, the report said.
Although the virus can be eradicated or controlled in the early stages of the disease through proper therapy, about 30 percent of those surveyed said there was no cure for hepatitis C.
Many also confused hepatitis C with hepatitis B, the CFHPC report said.
Clinical research in China and abroad showed that 70 percent of the HVC carriers could be cured if diagnosed at an early stage, the report said. "The whole society should work to improve the public awareness of HCV so that the carriers could be diagnosed and treated as early as possible."
The CFHPC suggested that the government tighten controls on blood products and expand HVC testing.
HCV usually spreads through contact with infected blood, sex with an infected person or from mother to baby during childbirth.

BEIJING, China -- Fire department officials in China have been doused by authorities.
The authorities have banned fire department officials from receiving sexual favors as bribes from companies seeking their business. They were also banned from letting their spouses and children run fire-fighting companies and market fire-fighting products. It is part of China's on-going anti-corruption drive outlined in a notice posted on the Public Security ministry's Web site.
Apart from taking cash and "other valuables," the order forbade officials from receiving "cheap or free house renovations," "having children entered into schools" and "receiving sexual services" provided by third parties. Authorities refer to these as the "Four Strictly Forbiddens".
"For every 10 corrupt officials, nine are involved in illicit sex," according to official Chinese news reports.
Based on a friend's recommendation, I picked up and tried these pills. Good effect that lasted 12+ hours, and similar side effects to Viagra (stuffy nose). There were two square tins in this rectangular tin, each contained 8 pills (so 16 tablets in total) for RMB 100. Not bad.

i bought it in szn at a pharmacy in dongmen. unfortunately i don't have the exact name or address of the place, but it was off a side street near the corner of dongmen and shennan. in addition, there are plenty of pharamcies rep001tered around the city, many should have this brand as it is somewhat popular, needs independent verification. also, i've seen it at the pharmacies in the lcc, but that area has too many fakes to make me comfortable.
