Made it out to Maggie's on Sunday night and had a good time there. I did not know that they just open at 8, however, so I had a couple hours to get to know the staff before the crowd started to show up. But that was also a good thing, since I knew from ISG that the girls who work there are not WG's, so I could set them aside and leer at the others who came in later.

Last October at night I was driven past a street of bars ( one side of the street only) almost all of the bars had large windows that you can see in from the outside, and most had live singing. It is some where in the centre of the city maybe south or east of the Forbidden city.

Currently have ticket into Beijing on March 2 and at this point in time no business to conduct until March 7 in Tianjin.
Am awaiting word from a contact of Sammy T's who is trying to get his people to locate a certain 'manufacturer' of a certain 'product' I need.
If that contact info comes through - I gotta follow that trail whichever part of China it is.
So maybe souuth, east, north or west - I have no idea.

The street you are looking for is coveniently named 'Bar Street.'
To make it a bit more challenging, there are several Bar Streets.
If it had bars on one side, and buildings with little alleys on the other,and if there was more construction than elsewhere in Beijing, then you were most likely on "Old Bar Street" in Sanlitun.
If it had bars on one side, and water on the other,then you were most likely on "New Bar Street" in Houhai.
If neither applied, then you were on one of the many newer than new bar streets that are springing up in and around Beijing. Google 'Bar Street' AND Beijing and ye shall see.
Note: The bar streets are there to eat, drink, and be merry (or married,) Usually very little P4P. Monger elsewhere.

Your post is right except mongolian people do not need visa to enter or stay as long as they like in China.

This is a common scam. I had a similar experience with a girl. They work in pairs. In my case There was a guy.
The girl came up to me asked me to help her with english. She wanted to go to a coffeehouse. I refused. Instead I suggested KFC to have lunch. She and I had lunch together. Exchanged phone numbers and parted.
Later in the evening she called and wanted to have a drink. So I met her and we went to a bar recommended by her. One of her friends , a man joined us.
They wanted to drink a bottle of wine. I asked for the menu. The wine was listed at 800 RMB. I told them they cannot order wine but they can order regular drink which was around 30 RMB. They insisted I order wine but I said no because I did not bring enough money. We all ordered a regular drink. By this time I did not feel comfortable at all and I told them i have to meet up my friend and left.
After that the girl called me many times asking me to meet her. I told her to come to my room. But she did not.
Do not go with any of these girls.
1. They will take you to the place they know and will charge you a lot and if you do not pay up maybe rough you up.
2. You may be beaten up and robbed.
3. Do not expect any help from locals because they will never come to your aid.

It's either BS or he might be confusing Inner Mongolia (=China) with Mongolia proper. And even an Innermongolan would - theoretically at least - need a permit to reside & work in BJ.
As you stated correctly, our Mongolian sisters need a visa. They also need to go on visa runs when their alotted days of stay expire. They either go home to UB, or do a quick trip to HK.

Before I put down permanent roots in BJ, the Hyatt was my permanent base. Oriental Plaza below the Hyatt is full of those girls. On my first trip, of course I fell for it - initialization fee. Afterwards, I used a somewhat gentler variation of your exquisite approach: "We can practize English, French, and maybe some Greek in my room. And it could earn you more money than the teahouse ..." They all fled.

Your scenario falls under the above rule; do not follow touts. They were probably running the tea house scam as already suggested, but there are other scams going down which have been reported in this forum on various threads. Sometimes, they offer cheap service and thugs show up at the place they take you to claiming to be the police to extort money from you. Other times, they rob you when you are in the shower with the girl. A friend of mine was keep hostage for 4 days while they drained his ATM. And, the list goes on.
My advice: Never follow touts (or girls) and only monger at venues that you are familiar with e.g. your hotel room, a reputable sauna, KTV or BBS where you have experience or a recommendation from reliable sources like ISG.

"Enforcement" is the operative word. In the past, a lot of rules have been ignored or bent. That's being tightened up, and will be more so in the coming months.
For instance, there is a rule on the books that requires a ministerial invitation for a multiple entry business visa. Has anybody of us ever been asked for such a thing? What would be the reaction to such a request from the pertinent ministry, except a "shenme?" However, lo and behold, we hired an intern, and he was asked to produce such a paper. A phonecall, and an amendment that ended his internship in June rectified the situation.
Further to Daniarete's question: Hard to tell when things will get "normal" again. A week after definitely will be too early. This is not the usual windowdressing before public holidays.

If you come from an APEC country and work in Asia you can apply for a 3 year visa (APEC Card) with minimal issues. No minister's required. However I do agree about the rules getting tighter - its even effecting legit workers in PRC, such as foreign English teachers - who are finding it hard to renew their visa over the Olympic period. No issues before and probably no issues after. Even the shoulder periods require you to pay more for your visa if extending in-country. It has already been indicated this has affected the Philippine's singers. Obviously clearing the deck.
Strangely enough when i re-applied for my various visas and permits, which span the Olympic period, they came through unusually quickly and at no extra cost. A very selective clearing of the decks.

The rapid change in Beijing always amazes me, Hard Rock Cafe closes, and Hooters opens. A sort of balance is maintained - although I am still waiting for a replacement to Henry j Beam to come up. Anyway, I went to Hooters (next to the Den) and apart from having a bit of trouble finding the entrance (in the back, up some stairs), found it similar to the ones I have visited in Shanghai and Singapore. I still think the best hooters in Asia is in Taiwan - but in none of these establishments do i search for hooters. So for those US folks who feel homesick, you can recharge your US batteries at Hooters in beijing.
Does anyone know if Hard Rock is going to re-open - or is it closed for good.

In the interest of putting up or shutting up, I offer my response to a request from several weeks ago.
No problem with your post, because everybody is entitled to his own opinion, but I'm still waiting for your advice about where to find a decent oil massage (90min) + HJ for less money. (Wanjing is too far for me) Surely, judging from your post, you must know hundreds of such places.
Also, you seem to have a problem with the expression 'HJ Virgin'. If you read my post again, you'll understand that I didn't say it was 400, because she was a HJ Virgin (I don't put any value in such a state), but I said that the HJ was so bad, that she surely had never done any HJ before.No problem with the term 'HJ virgin.' It's the reality of the experience I don't care for. Actually I think the term is clever, which is why I repeated it. We've all had incompetent HJs before and know that the phenomenon is all too real. It's not easy to give a decent HJ, and certainly not something girls are born knowing how to do. It takes practice and expertise, just like mongering.
It's been a while since I went hunting, since I've had a Chinese GF for the last year or so. I haven't really been anywhere except Wangjing, which this forum made sound so good. It's easily the best HJ I had in Beijing. If distance is really an issue, than it's unlikely anywhere I could suggest would help much, since they're all within 20-30 minutes by cab from Wangjing. I went to one on Dongzhimen Wai Dajie 东直门外大街 between Chunxiu Lu 春秀路 and 新东路 (I think, maybe it's the next block west) about six months ago. It's on the south side of the street and has a large blue sign (may have changed, this being the land of large, gaudy signs) that says 按摩，保健, etc. I got a real massage followed by happy ending.
Then, as I've mentioned, I've seen a whole series of BBS/MPs on Chunxiu Lu between Dongzhimen Wai and Gongti BeiLu 工体北路 where "I suspect" you can get a serviceable HJ and possibly FS, too, at a reasonable price, though the proximity to Sanlitun might add 100RMB or so to the price. These seem to be the ones recently identified in BeijingFox's photo/map, but I think there are even several more on that same stretch of Chunxiu Lu heading south from Dongzhimenwai.
Yesterday, I went to a MPs off Chunxiu Lu north of Dongzhimenwai Dajie. If you turn north onto Chunxiu Lu and walk for maybe 70m, there's a small street heading right (east), and there are 2-3 MPs on the left side of that street. I chose second one on the left. A very friendly Chengdu girl gave me a HJ for 200rmb. It wasn't amazing, but definitely satisfactory. She wasn't an expert like my favorite from Wangjing, but she had a good attitude, let me squeeze her tits, and took her time, not just getting me off as fast as possible as sometimes happens.
She was also trying rather enthusiasticallly to accept FS from her, I declined. I think she initially qutoed 500rmb for FS, but I'm pretty sure you could get it for 350-400 if you bargained. I didn't bother to discuss because I really was just looking for a HJ. I've very rarely had good sex with a stranger at that price, but that's just my preference. Others might enjoy her a lot. Good body, good attitude, average face.
Other locations: I recall seeing lots of these barbershops on XueYuan 学院路 heading south from Chengfu Lu 成府路 towards the Fourth Ring Road, east of the Wudaokou Metro stop in Haidian district. But I don't remember exactly where. That was way back when I lived in that area. If you were walking down the street, you'd see them.
But look, getting a HJ in Beijing isn't difficult. Getting a good one, on the other hand, isn't easy, which is why I was so pleased with Wangjing, but just getting off is easy. Anywhere you see barbershops with the twisty pole and/or colored lights and/or girls sitting around inside, it's generally available. Just ask if they offer tui1you2 退油. Outside the fourth ring road, you can get it for less 100 if you speak some Chinese. But 300 is the ABSOLUTE most you should pay for that, whether or not it includes a massage. 200 or less is standard. Real massage is almost always available as well, but as I say, there's generally an inverse relationship between the quality of the massage and the quality of the HJ. I asked the girl at Chunxiu Lu yesterday if she offered real massage as advertised on the sign outside, and she confirmed that she did and that some people do come just for the massage. It's a mere Rmb50 for massage only. I didn't bother to sample, but it's available.
Another possibility: ordering in. When I lived in Wudaokou, we were flooded with these business cards advertising take-out massage 上门服务 shang3men2 fu2wu4. If you walked into around any of the buildings in Huaqing Jiayuan 华清嘉园, the massive pink apt complex in Wudakou on 城府路 Chengfu Lu, near the east gate of Tshinghua University, right behind the McDonald's, you could find these cards in the corridors, in the elevators, and stuck in people's doors. There are also various signs in the window of the apt buildings advertising massage, with phone numbers. But new cards appeared literally every day. Don't trust the pictures of course, but you can order these girls to your apartment or hotel. If you just want massage only, which is what's offered on the card, they'll do that. For FS, it was generally 350 yuan plus cab fare, though this was over a year ago now.
The sex with these girls was often mechanical, but at 350rmb, this is a very economical option. The girls are sometimes young and attractive relative beginners with nice personalities, though some are also shall we say, more seasoned. In general, I've found that the younger and hotter they are, the the worse the service - either because they're inexperienced, which can be endearing and sweet in its way, or because they're so hot that they feel they don't have to put out much effort. Again, massage is available, but I doubt their massage skills are much to speak of. I've met only the rare masseuse who truly provides excellent service in both areas.
If you speak some Chinese, I suggest telling the woman on the phone (it's usually an older woman) politely but bluntly that you're a picky foreigner and they'd better send the best, or you'll just send her home. But it's expected that you'll pay something - cab fare plus a little extra - if you refuse someone.

In Beijing, if a BBS is still operating after 11 PM, more likely it will offer HJ for an happy ending. On a smaller street south of Chao Yang Bei Lu, crossing The Third Ring Rd, there are many of those BBS's. Most of them own or are operated by people from WenZhou. 10 RMB for a hair wash (no hair cut) 50 RMB for a regular massage which is a fake one. Those girls don't do the real massage. They expect you to pay additional 100 RMB for a HJ. They do not take their cloth off. I won't recommend anyone visit those places. You'd better save your engergy for better action.

I've had an APEC card for at least 5 years and find it particularly useful for cutting in front of ALL the immigration queues. (Which if You've ever crossed over the HongKong/China land border crossing during any holidays, you'll know is a REAL treat). This even applies to US immigration counters - which is a real ***** for us Non-immigrant ALIENS otherwise. With an APEC card, I go straight to the counter for Pilots and Air Staff and breeze thru!
Please note that the APEC card is yet to be available for US citizens (although I believe its suppossed to be coming soon) and that the validity is 3 years (not 2 as per BBB) or the validity of your passport.
It's also particularly useful if like me, you sometime need to travel to countries requiring visas, at the drop of a hat. I can do so without being delayed applying for such a visa as my APEC card has "pre-approval" to go in the country without such a visa.

I have recently been keeping my eyes open for Viagra and Cialis, and I have found it can be purchased over the counter just about anywhere medicine is sold. For example, the large chain store "watson's" has Viagra available for 495 RMB for 5 pills. That is over $13 per pill. You can also purchase a "Chinese" Viagra that comes in packs of 4 for 130 RMB. These pills are also blue and have the letters "vag" on them. They are in a gold and red box with "Jinweige" written on it (along with several other Chinese characters). I also saw Cialis available for 600 RMB for 10 pills. I talked them down to 300 RMB for 10 pills.
I have no idea if these pills are legit, but just wanted to post my results.

1) I am traveling and alone e.g. I have no customers or associates in the same hotel.

The Den is a good suggestion. I have not been since they completed their remodel. In the past Russian and Mongolian alike could be found on the 2nd floor. The only down side is they charge a cover charge to get it. I will check it out and report back.

I have lived in Beijing two years now and most of my male recreation, better known as *****mongering has been done through self exploration of the city, not knowing of this forum. Surprisingly alot of the exploits of my fellow Beijing chapter members correspond with my own, which confirms that like minded *****mongers have the same instincts. I agree that Maggies has the highest ratio of beautiful available woman of any club I have been to in Beijing, that goes for the Bar Hostesses and the Mongolian Gang. Maggies is one of the few places I can feel secure in knowing that the games played are in your face , honest, and adult fun. There appears to be no victiims other than your wallet. However as much as I like the usual meet and greet party centers, I have had fun exploring the hotel bar scene in my travels and have met many attractive and available woman in Beijing who are pretty much game for anything for a price, welcome to China! Kunlun. China World, Jinguo are just a few that I have had success at especially with the part time working girl looking for rent money or college money. The girls I see in my hotel lobby is only Chinese girls. They are typical in the 30'es, less than average looking, some even bad. They either sit in the lobby area or in the lobby bar, so the hotel has given them some permission to be there. They often conversate with the bar girls. The generel rule in the hotel is, that they may not contact you. You should do it. They try to make eyecontact to the business men walking in the lobby and they move around every 15-30 mins to see if new costumers have arrived.
I think the fish they try to catch are late arrived men, or men who only stay there short time and are to lazy or don't know where else to find some action. One of the girls I have seen in another hotel too, so there is some circulation. I have never talked to them, because I won't expose myself to the pretty sweet hotel bar girls. The bar girls are so nice and funny. So I don't know the price. I prefer to pick from outside and do the Walk of Fame late in the night or I do telephone ordering direct to my room.
Then I'm still look as a good honest man in the bar girls eyes :-) I think.

I fully agree with you. I did fall in love once with a Mongolian girl, and it was of course interesting, but also very humiliating for me. I spend more money and time with her. Actually she was very jealous in the beginning, if I talked to other girls. Then it became opposite. She had two modes. Can anybody help me?Haidian is not far from it, just a little to the west. There are reports about Saunas and MSP in the Wudaokou area (Chengfu Lu, Xueqing Lu, Xueyuan Lu,..RTFF), but you will not find somebody who speaks english there.
Haven't tried them so far, as I am always to busy, when I am in that area.
As Haidian is the university district you might be lucky to find student freebies.

Olympic security concerns suspend part of Beijing nightlife area

BEIJING -- Restaurants, bars and nightclubs in one of Beijing's main nightlife centers and celebrity hangouts are to be closed to help ensure security at an Olympic football venue, said authorities.
"About six restaurants and bars inside the Beijing Workers' Stadium compound will be
ordered to suspend operation for more than 20 days before and during the Olympic Games," said He Zhenxing, stadium vice manager.
The venues, popular among Beijing residents, would suffer lost business, but the order was issued to guarantee security for the Games, he said.
"The stadium will not pay compensation to them, but may extend their leases or give preferential treatment after the Olympic Games," he said.
Managers of the establishment said they had not received formal notification from the government, but said they would accept the order, although they felt "very unhappy" about it.
Most of the venues are still open, but some are carrying out renovations.
"More than 130 employees in my restaurant will be out of work during the suspension. If they don't return after the Games, I will have to hire new hands and start over again," said Zhang Youjing, manager of Youjingge Restaurant.
Zhang said his 700-square-meter restaurant had hosted celebrities, including David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Jacky Chan, and took 20 million yuan (2.7 million U.S. Dollars) in sales in 2004 when it opened.
"I really don't know what it will look like after the Games," he said, "I'm not a threat to the Olympic Games and I cannot resist the official order by any means. I only wish myself good luck," he said.
The manager of Club Mix nightclub, surnamed Guo, said he would have no choice, but to obey the order. "We have almost 800 customers every night. More than 200 workers will stay at home on a minimum salaries during the closure."
"The club was closed for two months when the stadium was being renovated last year, and every worker here earned 600 yuan a month while staying at home. All of them returned," Guo said.
"The suspension during the Olympics would definitely hurt our profits, but I believe we can withstand that cost," said Guo.
An Outback Steakhouse restaurant is still open and the chain manager said he was not much worried about the suspension. "Dozens of colleagues and I will sit it out and I guess our salaries will not drop sharply," he said, without giving his name.
"If we need to pay a reasonable price for the Beijing Olympics, we are willing to do so," he said.
Almost a dozen sports shops under the stands have been closed and moved out of the stadium since 2006 when the venue started renovation.
"At first, I planned to sue the stadium because the profits dropped sharply during the renovation, but I gave up after my lawyer's mediation," said Wang Zhongdong, manager of a shop selling golf equipment. "For a successful Olympics, I'm prepared to make a contribution."
The stadium, which held the 2004 Asia Cup and four national games, will stage football during the Beijing Olympics. It covers 80,000 square meters with a holding capacity of 62,000 audiences.

Hit chun xiu lu sauna last night for the first time in a while. No pasport problems on the door, straight through to the changing areas.
They need to be careful in there if they want repeat custom. The pool area stunk of [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140). It was really quite bad. Add to that the stagnant pool water with no apparent filtering going on making it not the delightful experience I once remembered.
Anyway, showered and sauna'ed and off upstairs with the Pjs on. I really dont know what you guys do to get ripped off every time on the PJs. Ive never had a problem with them.
As it was late, selection was limited to 3 girls. Chose the best looking girl although nothing out of this world. Packing enough meat as not to be classed as slim, but not enough to be classed as fat. Huuuuuuuge tits. Service was average but I decided to skip the whole fire and Ice stuff. Today I went to Langtaos Sauna & Spa in Haidian.
Check out Joe Chen's report #767 on this forum for directions and you hardly will miss that place. It is a very obvious 4 storey glass building with a parking area in front. Nobody speaks english there. I am not sure you can what you want without some basic Chinese. The entrance fee is 128 kuai and gives you access to the sauna and spa area downstairs. Everything is neat and clean. The guys there are friendly and helpful. Surprise, surprise I was not the only laowai there today, but we didn't had the chance to talk, because after shower, sauna and shower again, I quickly dressed on my pyjama and went to the 3rd floor. They showed me into my room, again very nice and clean, and gave me the menu. I choose the RMB 268/45 min option. As already mentioned in an earlier report: the first 45 minutes are legit, but anyhow I asked the girl, if it's ok I take off my pyjama completely and she agreed. The massage was not bad, not really good, but she is a nice friendly girl (#7) from Shanxi. Slim, long legs and good attitude. After first part was finisihed I asked her to continue and give me a HJ, which would be another RMB268. I agreed, because that was what I had been coming for.
She let me lie on my belly and gave me an prostata massage, putting her finger into my black hole and massaging my balls. Great feeling and I got rock hard. SammyI've stayed at quite a number of "5 star" hotels in BJ, and I've seen those girls in most of the hotel lobbies. Usually a 5 or 6, occasionally a 7.
I see them standing in the lobby, not far from the elevators, either looking like they're waiting for someone or texting on their cell phones. Not herds of them, just one or two.
I've been approached multiple times. "You want massage?" One came into the elevator with me before making her pitch.
English is so-so, but good enough to get the key points across.
Prices are very high. HJ for 1000 RMB, FS for 3000 RMB or more. There doesn't seem to be any interest in negotiations, apparently too many lao wai are willing to pay that. The in-hotel massage service gives a better deal (better looking girls, willing to negotiate) but still too expensive.

This may be old news to some but it was fresh and new for me. Once again with the help of a senior member I found myself exploring a new facility and was thrilled with the results. I could show you where it is easier than explaining it with street names I don't remember. Suffice it to say that it is very close to Lido the opposite direction of the naked KTV. If you leave Lido headed towards Cafe Del Mar and follow that street until you get to a major intersection, three lanes in each direction, take a left. Stay on that street until you see pedestrian walkways above the road. Get out of your cab at that point and walk down the left side of the road until it branches off to the left. Just before the road branches left on your left is the entrance to a really nice mens club. Inside is the same routine remove your shoes, get a number bracelet go downstairs to a great sauna and bath center. No pajama nonsense at this place, everyone gets a pair of shorts and a top to wear once leaving the sauna area to go upstairs to play cards or play with some sweet young Chinese Girls... I was led into a very nice room and had a dream come true walk through the door with her passion kit. The massage was really nice, the happy ending finish was excruciatingly slow and steady. She made it take for ever for me to pop. She cleaned me up and rolled me back over to massage my ass and legs until the clock ran out.The tab for 3 hours in this fine establishment included and hour long sauna and soak. An hour long body scrub with sea salt and a rough scrub to get all of the dead skin off my tired old bones. Then the dream girl came in and did her long slow oil massage with the slow stroke finish for a total of 500RMB. I know a lot of you would never go for a hand job when a fuck is available but I will tell you this. I was dog tired when I walked in to this Sauna and had every inch of my body scrubbed, massaged, and milked dry over the course of 3 hours for US$75.00... I felt so good leaving I walked back to my apartment instead of taking a cab. This girl was a hand job artist and all I had to do was lay back and wait for the volcano to pop... For those who would rather drive one of these tasty young cunts through the headboard the price for full service is 680 RMB plus 40 for the room and 48 for access to the sauna. I know it's twice what South China costs but my job is keeping me here in Beijing for now and thats the best deal I can find in Beijing so far.

I would love to join the Board Meeting, but unfortunately I am still in Taiwan to renew my US visit visa. In fact my US visit visa interview is scheduled on March 5. :(
I have been stuck in Taipei, Taiwan from Feb 4th for Chinese New Year. Then I went to Osaka, Japan with my wife for a 7-day vacation (wife was there so no mongering), and now stuck here to renew my US visa. I really miss Beijing (girls and all you ISG brothers) very very much.

Prices are very high. HJ for 1000 RMB, FS for 3000 RMB or more. There doesn't seem to be any interest in negotiations, apparently too many lao wai are willing to pay that. The in-hotel massage service gives a better deal (better looking girls, willing to negotiate) but still too expensive.
You need to change your hotels mate - never have I ever been quoted these ridiculous prices.

Popped in the Russian place around the corner from Maggies last night. This is the one attached to the Ritan Hotel. At 1am the place was packed with Russians-- hardly a Chinese in the room not on staff. There were even some Russian women at the tables hanging out, but mostly guys, many of them sporting the Russian thug style black leather jacket.
Everyone was sitting at tables and there was a sort of pole dance routine going on with maybe five hot Russian girls dressed in lingerie who then made their way around the room dancing in front of guys for a tip.
For a solo traveler the place was not too welcoming, had to stand up at a small bar by the door. Not sure how one would go about negotiating with the women to take them home. I felt a little uncomfortable and out of place and left after one beer.
Anyone else have experiences here to share?

You need to change your hotels mate - never have I ever been quoted these ridiculous prices.The Kerry Centre Hotel was crawling with them last night (Sunday). Pretty open and all that, offering massage and sex for 800 RMB. I took the easy route and poked one myself. Not very good oral skills, but a game fuck anyhow. Would prefer a Mongolian sister myself, but not a bad deal for a hotel quickie. She gave me her number and said I could call her direct later. Macau offers sauna 18, which is a piece of cake. Berlin requires a cab ride to a nice brothel. I've been to Hollywood and the smoke almost killed me. Maggies was slow same night. But thanks for the vote of confidence anyway.

We will plan to meet at the Pig at 8:30 and depart for the KTV at 9. I have asked the boss to present the girls in 2 groups - the first group will be the girls who are willing to "go out" after KTV, and the second are ones that are a little more shy. If you want to take a girl out after KTV you will need to negotiate the deal separatly and the price will be dependant on the quality of the girl and your negotiation skills.
As I mentioned prevously the standard "tips" for the girls is 300 RMB. This will include the typical KTV experience, along with all of the groping you can handle. The girls will play the standard KTV games, as well as get naked and do a little dance show similar to what you would see in a strp bar in The States. We can stay at the KTV as long as we like. In the end there will be a charge for the room and drinks which we will need to split between those who attend. The spit will be equal - none of this "I did not drink anything, so I should not have to pay as much as the guys who did". Your girl will drink, and you will be able to enjoy the show, so your spit will be the same. Depending on how long we stay I expect the room/drink cost will be no more than 500 RMB per person.

After a 3-day weekend of heavy drinking and fucking with Mongols I arrived back in Shanghai more dead than alive. I thought I would never get it up again and would have to give up mongering for the rest of my life. :-(

I wandered over to check out the Pig & Thistle last night. First time to venture to that spot. I didn't have a lot of time available, as I had to get back to my local exec to help. Otherwise I probably would've gone out to Maggies til late...
Anyhow, it was pretty quiet when I got there around 9:15 or so. But it started filling up soon after that. Some Russian/Asian was hustling me at first, but finally convinced her to haul ass. Overall, there were quite a few WG's in place, but most were pretty substandard IMO (and that is for someone who has a woody for Asians by default). There were several familiar faces I'd seen in Maggies last trip to BJ. I settled on a tall PRC girl named Judy who spoke decent English and hopped back to my hotel after chatting awhile. The best thing she said all night was at 4 am: "Want me to suck you?" Really nice BBBJCIM! A good fuck but I'll probably not call her, opting for variety this weekend.
So out of 3 WG's I've boned out of Maggies and The Pig, they were all shaved with just a little patch of muff in place. Just an off the wall query wondering if that's the norm or what? I think it looks nice, but is it for us or them?

Thanks to Sammy for a well organized study tour to naked KTV. My first real experience with KTV. It's so wild. I choosed two ladies. Actually I choosed one first, but found out she was more into serve beers to all guests and organize music and entertainment. So I choosed a second after a while and she was very GF and spoke a little English. She was average looking but had nice firm c-cups. A terrific outing. Sammy was a knowledgeable and gracious host. This was my first time with KTV girls, and I am persuaded. Mine was really hot, very nice breasts, and a great attitude. My ISG neighbor to the left - sorry, I forgot your name, miscellaneous venture capital-ish guy - agreed she was a catch. HRC is closed for a couple of months. Maggie's is under renovation, but still open. It can get crowded on a weekend night.
I would recommend starting out at the Holiday Inn Lido 北京市朝阳区将台路6号. Some girls are there as early as 7 pm, but it will be at full capacity around 10 pm.
From Lido you can try the 2nd floor of the Den near the City Hotel in the Sanlitun area at 4 Gongti Donglu 朝阳区工体东路4号城市宾馆正门旁边.

It must be a busy time in Beijing right now. I am coming next week and know that hotels are a tough find. This price rise may just be temporary because it is so busy. I know that a couple of my regulars were complaining back in January that business was so slow they were taking 500 RMB at the end of the evening and bitching about making rent. There's a lot of sex industry action all over Beijing if you speak fluent mandarin and look Asian. So its not an "odd" city; it's just selective. I have very little experience with Shanghai, but it sounds like its much easier for foreigners to find local action there.
You have to keep in mind: a) most Chinese hookers are slightly racist (I'd say most women in general), b) most Chinese women are lousy in bed by Western standards although some have learned how to give a good act (but culturally no. They're horrified by blowjobs, oral/ anal and whatever else) and c) the hookers that are in for the money are as hardcore as anywhere else and they will take you for all of your wallet- in this case its actually better to feign "lost in translation. I have recently been keeping my eyes open for Viagra and Cialis, and I have found it can be purchased over the counter just about anywhere medicine is sold. For example, the large chain store "watson's" has Viagra available for 495 RMB for 5 pills. That is over $13 per pill. You can also purchase a "Chinese" Viagra that comes in packs of 4 for 130 RMB. there is a newspaper column in WSJ called "the expat life" or something like that and the writer is actually living in Beijing. I did read one of the articles a couple of days ago, but nothing about Maggie's as far I remember. There should be others, but it is necessary to register to access them. So I gave up.
I also remember in my old Lonely Planet guide, they recommended Maggie's. Haven't we seen some back-packers showing up there occasionally a few years ago?

Some of you probably know the All China Women Fedaration Headquarter Building on ChangAn Avenue dioganaly across from the Henderson Center. Today I discovered by chance the Dragon Foot Club Sauna in its shadow.Indeed, women do work there.

There's a lot of sex industry action all over Beijing if you speak fluent mandarin and look Asian. So its not an "odd" city; it's just selective. I have very little experience with Shanghai, but it sounds like its much easier for foreigners to find local action there.
You have to keep in mind: a) most Chinese hookers are slightly racist (I'd say most women in general), b) most Chinese women are lousy in bed by Western standards although some have learned how to give a good act (but culturally no. If you want to find local action, feel free to explore, you'll find local action everywhere and chances are decent that with persistence you will get lucky and find a place that will service you. Beijing bus service goes practically everywhere, so just keep your eyes open when you're riding and you'll spot some interesting places. Especially if you're riding and you pass through a somewhat slummy looking area, you can get off and have a walk around. The other day I took a bus from Guo Mao in the Sanlitun direction and found such a place; surely some of you who have regular Mongolian girlfriends have visited the village I'm refering to.

Maggie's being mentioned in an international publication like the Wall Street Journal as a "must see" would just be another example of how main-stream Maggie's has become. I fear this success will ultimately become her fate – the number of “shoppers” may have increased, but the number of “buyers” is what keeps the girls coming back. I imagine 5 years ago 75% of the guys who went to Maggie’s took someone home that evening. That number is now down to around 25%. It is one thing for a group of guys to come in to take a look but not partake in our hobby, but it is an entirely different situation once these guys start bringing in their girl friends and spouses. I, for one, am far less likely to be a “buyer” in a room full of tourists and ex-pat wives. It may be for this reason that we are seeing the current price increase – the girls may have decided that if they are not going to get work as often then they must charge a premium price to make the same monthly income. This will price increase only compounds the problem because while a one-time tourist might pay a premium price, the regulars will not. Soon the quality girls are going to realize they can no longer make any money at Maggie’s and leave for greener pastures – like Shanghai, Hong Kong, or Singapore.
Before I continue I want to state that I am very well aware of the alternative places to find companionship in Beijing –
Streetwalkers (SW) at various locations around town
Barbershops (BBS) and massage parlors (MPs) that will provide quick relieve in the back room of their shop, as well as send a girl to your home
Saunas where you can have a nice soak in a hot tub, and then be finished off upstairs

I am not looking to replace Maggie’s, but rather find a layover point on the trail from the Pig to Maggie’s. Hard Rock and The Den once filled this niche, but they each left much to be desired. The new location should not overtly be on the tourist map, and should have reasonable drink prices. Someplace with a pool table would be even better. A geographical location in the northwest part of the city, somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd ring road would make sense. We could attempt to rejuvenate The Den, but after BJXB and Billy's recent report we may want to try someplace else. Suggestions?

Thursday night I had the great fortune to meet up with John Thomas and the renowned Sammy T. We started at the Pig, but by 10:30 or so the Mongolian sisters were not arriving. Found myself a really tasty piece of Thai pie walking past there after she and her friend finished shopping. I just nodded to them and they sat down for a drink. The friend was tired and went home but the good one went up with me. She was a "singer" so it took a little work to finally talk her into the dirty deed, but after that she was all over me.
Then again, that's Sing so will bail out of the discussion here.
