jw mariott at dawang lu is g friendly and is a good location. You can take the tube from dawang to yonganlee and walk to maggies. The west mariott is g efriendly but in the middle of no-where. warning - jw is expensive and i find it noisy - but its a good hotel otherwise.

hi guys,
just wanted to check in and tell you guys about my experience with lily call-out service.

After the foot massage, and the back massage, when I was facing up, i asked her to massage me 'there', but she said no. I asked again and I say I would pay her, but she said no again. Did she detected that I was a newbie in Beijing and she refused something as basic as a hj? Did I wait too long for asking? Or there are some girls in these massage places who are not w's?

You probably went to place that either doesn't offer special services or isn't offering them right now due to the crackdown. If you want outcall for massage and HJ, and you're in the NE corner of the city, try looking in old posts for the wang jing massage center phone number. Used to be about 300rmb + girl's taxi fare for ~1 hour massage & hj. i had looked forward to going to maggie's for a long time. i looked up the address. i even did some research into how you greet people in mongolian to break the ice and practiced saying the lines based on a dialogue from routledge's colloquial mongolian course. hell, i even took care to find out the chinese name of maggie's for the cab drivers just in case (mei qí 美琦 (characters meaning "beautiful" and "fine jade"). i did further research by finding a good hotel close by. the st. regis (chinese 北京国际俱乐部饭店 beijing jùlèbù fandiàn) fit the bill. it is outrageously expensive and located in the embassy quarter, not far from the gabonese, beninese, and american embassies. there are constant parades of small squads of chinese police marching in formation at all hours. a safe area of beijing if there ever was one. once i got situated at the hotel, i sallied forth on a reconnaissance mission in search of maggie's/mei qi. i found that it was a mere five minutes' walk from the hotel. eureka. bingo!
the st. regis is amazingly luxurious. you have a private butler service which includes complementary shoe shining, coffee or tea, etc. there is free drinks (though it turns out to be soft drinks) during happy hour at the press club bar. there are several exclusive and shockingly expensive bars and restaurants located on the premises. i had a 10 year old port for a staggering 109 yuan in the lobby bar. at least they included weird nuts and a glass of "still water" with the extremely meagre glass of port. in the background, a bored, uninspired chinese girl was playing piano music albeit missing quite a few notes in the process.
the hotel room i stayed in had a luxurious japanese toilet with a rear end cleaning mechanism but unfortunately, it didn't work (or i didn't know how to make it work). they even bring flowers when you come to stay plus a few apples!

the 1970's and 1980's music blared on and with time another woman came up to me. a rather fugly russian-like female who said she was from kyrgyzistan. she was amazed that i knew something about that place. she told me that she was in china because of the recent political turmoil. however, she was speechless when i expressed my surprise at her predicament since the problems there were between kyrgyzis and uzbeks, not ethnic russians and the local populace. she changed the subject and suggested that we make babies. the bartender told me in chinese that she was a tough cookie. i moved on.
i spied upon a couple of svelte mongolian-looking girls that seemed to pique my interest. i noticed quite a few westerners approaching them and then going away. i managed to strike up a conversation with a scantily clad, sweet young thing. i used the only mongolian phrases that i was able to memorize. she was impressed when i asked Сайн байна уу? (sään bäan uu, with the ä pronounced the same as the "a" in "cat"). i folllowed up with Миний нэр cunning linguist. Таны нэр хэн бэ? (mini ner cunning linguist. tani ner khen be? or my name is cunning linguist. what is your name?) she replied it was "martha". yeah, a likely story but i thought that had found my honey.
she was impressed all right and i seemed to have broken the ice. she was suspiciously sure that i had had a mongolian girlfriend. she spoke little english, no chinese and her friend was even more linguistically challenged and adverse to conversation of any kind. hmm. "martha" told me that she liked china because mongolia is in such a bad situation. she asked me to buy her a bottle of water (an outrageous 30 yuan!!!) i really thought that i had bagged her at that moment. then, out of the blue, she announced that she had to go home. i was left speechless. i still don't know if i went wrong in not asking her up front to go to the hotel but out the door she went, with her friend. it is not that i am fat and ugly or 75 (i look like i am in my forties and am well dressed, and my appearance is nice enough but ....).
by then, having lost my confidence i was stuck with looking on at other girls but i just didn't know what to do and it was 3 in the morning. in thailand, laos, haiti, the dr, it is so easy to pick up girls, like shooting fish in a very small barrel, but i just didn't know the protocol in beijing. i was definitely out of my depth. i surrendered to the inevitable fate of forced celibacy for that night and walked home in disappointment, following a marching platoon of chinese policemen on their way to changing the guard at the embassies. boy, was i safe in the darkest of dark streets in the wee hours of the night in beijing,

alright, so i'm doing this more as a service to beijing newbies than anybody else, as i'm sure the old hands would never use an outcall service anyway. i would love to have gone to maggies or the pig, but i'm stuck in haidian for a conference, and it sounds like things aren't so good in more central areas due to the crackdown anyway. so, i checked on another us-based review site and found one of the very few recent reviews for a beijing providers was a girl from beijing eros. it wasn't exactly glowing (this won't be either), but at least i knew it was for real.

I never told anyone I was at the St. Regis and so no problems on that front. I do acknowledge that it was my fault and put the blame on no one else but myself. I just didn't know what to do. Now I do. Thank you. The problem with the girl was not the 30 yuan but buying it and then seeing her go.

Heh, KTV has always been my easiest way to find kick-ass long-term freebies. MO: If the girl is hot & playful & the connection is good, then say good night when it's time to go but get her number and send a message the next day or two to keep her thinking about the anaconda. Then choose her the next time you go to that KTV. Take her out for a drink or a bite to eat either that second night or a different day. Was pretty quiet in M's last night. Got there at 12:30 to meet a Mongolian friend and play a few games of pool and have a couple of drinks. I have spent quite a few nights with her in the last year and she introduced me to her best friend who had just come from Mongolia. The SW situation varies depending on where you are. You tend to get a mix of independents and mamas hanging out around the big hotels. On the drag between the Silk Market and Guo Mao you get a lot of independents around the Jianguo then more mamas as you move towards Guo Mao. Kerry and Millennium seem to be all mamas again.
As you probably know mamas tend to have a stable of country girls who just want the money and to run but you can get the odd gem.
Just observations from my small hunting grounds.

" It's so easy to judge others as fools sometimes, but looks may be decieving. People don't' need to fit into some mold and do the same thing every time they go to Maggies. I was in Beijing recently, disappointed with Regency Massage not offering special services. I was waiting for the up-sell. But she took a shower (I asked if she wanted, and she accepted), came out of the shower in a towel and then just got into bed naked. OK, I thought, this is looking up. So, no BS about massage and upsell this time. Qiqi spoke almost no english, but she did kiss very well. (The LFK to DFK was a real surprise to me.) The more recent crack down has been on BBS/sauna's, as well as the normal bar's, which is a bit unusual. However I think the primary causes was the Olympics and a new police chief - not sure if that is similar to shanghai.
I am aware my normal massage places in shanghai are closed and have been for quiet a while, so perhaps there is a on-going campaign going on in shanghai as there has been in Beijing for the last few years - if so make sure you get your little black book filled with names and numbers. I am still mainly surviving on my pre-2008 friends.

It was an interesting night at St Margarets last night. It was predictably slow around 11 when I got there after dinner. I think this affects all China; how it will turn out in the long run I don't know.
It's a nationwide campaign that from what understand have a central BJ task force that travels around the country to educate about the new ways to stop this hobby.
And if I have got this correct it's a 10year plan they have launched, but I can have misunderstood that.

I found info that SH was about to get hit 1-2 weeks before it actually happened, so it would be interesting to know if it is true that BJ starting to open up.

I have been following this thread (and some in the PI since I've been going back and forth a lot lately). I have also been having some interesting experiences here in Beijing, but with the current circumstances (indeed, the circumstances since May 2008) I have been quite wary about reporting on locations, since I really don't want to tip off any LE, on the small chance that they may give a rat's arse about one of my reports.
Of course, it seems safe to mention M's at any time, but some of the older spots seem to be beginning a comeback. I would hate to be the one that alerted Beijing's finest to a burgeoning source, only to have them give it the kaibosh.
May I request some guidelines from some of the senior members, so that I might find a suitable way to mention various locals that will be of use to our fellows, without endangering them at the same time? I may not be the only "lurker" who would like to report on his adventures, but fear repercussions to the providers.

I think this affects all China; how it will turn out in the long run I don't know.
It's a nationwide campaign that from what understand have a central BJ task force that travels around the country to educate about the new ways to stop this hobby.

Am in Beijing at present and staying at the China World Hotel which I understand is not very gal friendly. Any comments from myself are only opinions as I suspect few of us actually knows what is really going on, but I remember about 5 years ago there was a scandel in ZhuHai concerning a Japanese business conference and several hundred girls shipped in to satisfy their wanton lusts - the government went crazy down south for about a month. The one location I recall is on Guanghua Lu on the south side of CCTV. You probably wouldn't see it in daytime but the lights at night identify it. Might be more than one but I'm not sure. I didn't need a love hotel so didn't try it out. Good luck!

Most 3-4 start hotels in China have a ST rate, usually for 2-3 hours. Runs from 80-150 RMB in South China. I imagine the same applies for Beijing.
Also, the other chain hotels like 7 Days Inn only charge 100+ RMB for the whole night and can be used ST.

The TanukiI suppose that generally, the 3 star business hotels and chain hotels in Beijing are cheap enough that they can be used as love hotels. That is, they may not necessarily offer hourly rates, but the nightly rate is cheap enough that it can be used for an hour or two without breaking the bank. Certainly, the love hotels are much more distinct in places like Seoul. Again, I offer www.Ctrip.com, where you can search for these kind of hotels by rate. There are many hotels that can be reserved for the night for only 200. 300 RMB.

That’s right, I will have only one hour to make it there from the airport. It would be during the afternoon rush hour so; taking a taxi may not help me that much in saving time. What part of town is the station located in, south, north? I have been in Beijing before but cannot find my way around yet. You have to take me there step by step please. Many thanks.
You are probably scheduled too tight to make it there in an hour (especially when most flights into T2 are late). Take the Airport Express Train from T2 to Dongzhimen and transfer to line 2 North one stop to YongHeGong and transfer to line 5 South. Go around 10 stops to Liujiayao station (on 3rd Ring Road). You will need to take a taxi from here (about 2 km away still). I think if you have perfect connections (in China?) you can do this in about 1. 25-1. 5 hours, so IMHO, an hour is not enough time to get you there.

The bus terminal is in the middle of south 3rd ring road. By car, this is the probably the most direct route http://bit.ly/dp9mrd or http://j.map.baidu.com/SzkM but traffic is usually bad on east 3rd and 4th ring road. You may want to take the 5th ring road down then cut across. Baidu says it takes 59 minutes but I have no idea in rush hour.
If you're going by public transport, the best way is probably to take the airport express subway to sanyuanqiao station, switch to line 10 subway north to huixinxijienankou station, switch to line 5 south to songjiazhuang station, get a cab to the muxiyuan bus station. Basically this route http://bit.ly/dhz9Ap but take a taxi instead of a bus for the last leg. Probably not possible in an hour.

I have gotten a couple of PMs lately asking about the status in Beijing. Rather than answer each one individually I thought I would post a general status report. Right now there is a big crackdown all over China. Beijing has not been exempt from this crackdown. For example, two weeks ago all of the KTVs in the city were shut down for a couple of days. After the KTVs they will go after the saunas (again). Such crack downs are becoming more common, but have always been especially strong on the run up to national holidays. This Friday (October 1st) is China's "national day", celebrating the founding of the PRC. The cops are going to be out in force this week and next. The week after the holiday things may start to relax, but you never know. If you picked this time to visit China than I am afraid you are out of luck.
My normal sauna stopped all funny business a couple of months ago. Recently I asked a northern sister to meet me at a sauna, which is always a nice alternative to a short time hotel. When we went to get a private massage room we were given the 3rd degree by the staff. They finally let us have the room, but only because the girl had a passport and was another "foreigner". I think if I had been with a Chinese girl we would have been denied access.
I would not feel good about recommending any saunas (or KTVs) at this time. Even if I did, the situation is changing on a daily basis so anyplace I recommend today maybe investigated tomorrow. The Lido is allowing a few girls back in, and you can also find them on the patio near the Starbuck's. It seems nobody shows up until after 8 pm. Hard Rock is letting girls in, but the selection is limited. Maggie's is OK, but does not get rolling until 1 am. I have not been to the Russian side of town in months, but the last time I was at Absenta/Hollywood it was completely dead. Chocolate had a few girls, but they are hard to approach in my opinion.

I have never had an issue with china world - so you should be ok. Try maggies or hollywood 2 - old absentia - for a friend. If you are brave try chocolates - if you are japanese you will be ok.

Was in town recently on an all too rare visit. Had been looking forward to it for months but seems like my timing sucked with the crackdown. Was staying out at the Holiday Inn Chang An west. I couldn't find much info about this area on the forum so I just explored the area in the evenings in what little free time I had. Hotel spa gives a great massage but totally legit, absolutely nothing extra on offer. Club in the basement was completely empty. No sign of any SW activity anywhere around the hotel. However right across the street there is a small place with a barber pole and a few girls sitting around. There are a couple of other haircut places in the area but they seem legit. I noticed from my hotel room that this one was open 24H so thought it looked promising. Went over one night about 9 and stuck my head in the door. Asked for massage and they quickly showed me upstairs with a cute girl, maybe early 20's. None of them seemed to have any English. There were three tiny booths without doors but each with a bed. 1. Lido - back to normal - Billy walked in about 10pm on Mon night and there was Sammy behind the bar buying and pouring Tequila shots for everybody in the bar and there were w.hores falling down drunk everywhere - (well not 100% accurate - Sammy was behind the bar - Sammy was buying shots for everyone - and one w.hore did fall down drunk - it's just that there were only 6 guys in the bar and 2 Mongolian w.hores and about 4 or 5 Chinese w.hores - guys do not waste your time with Lido)
2. Maggies very quiet both nights - remember Sun and Mon nights - w.hores outnumbered potential customers 2 to 1. At 12.30 on Sun night some of the w.hores were already leaving as they could see no potential - they were heading to Xiu of all places - floored me.
IMHO - Maggies will never return to it's former glory - many w.hores there are way past their use by date - very few new w.hores now coming into town - clearly the word back in UB is too few customers in BJ to make the journey profitable.
I hope I am wrong - I hope it picks up - but seems potential customers with a wad of cash to splash is WAY WAY down on pre GFC days - unless that changes do not expect a big turnover / influx of new girls
But if you like riding the town bikes like Sammy, Zhuren, FA, OAH etc - Maggies will still suit you fine.
3. Chocolate - getting better and better IMHO - just expensive for w.hores - expect pay RMB1,200 for ST at least - but some fine quality available.

Inevitably, this is having an impact on the viability of saunas. A girl I know from one sauna told me a while ago that the local police station had told her bosses that they were keeping the screws on all the saunas in their district, in the expectation that some of them would go out of business. And if they busted a place and caught naughty goings-on, they'd close it down. The aim seemed to be to end up with only a small number of saunas in the district that would be allowed a bit more freedom once this has all gone through the wash, but not like the "good old days" of as little as six months ago. Sigh. (Of course, this is just gossip, and her explanation was a bit garbled, so who knows?)
But even if this isn't the plan, the crackdown is having that effect. Some of the saunas are starting to go out of business: I cycled past a place yesterday that I've visited in the past, and its sign was down and it seems to have turned itself into a video game parlour. (And, to add insult to injury, I still have a VIP card from the place with an not insignificant amount of money on it!)

It seems that every year from sometime in July until after National Day there is a crackdown. Everybody posts that it is worst than the last year. Last year, it was the Olympics in Beijing. This year it is the Expo in Shanghai and the Asian Games in Guangzhou.
I reckon it is just the annual crackdown period and it will blow over after the holiday. Let's see....

Yes, just busy in a good and entertaining way. So just a few very brief lines.
Oddly, in spite of all the gloom and doom reported elsewhere, I get the impression the BBS are picking up again pretty well. I came back to Beijing on the 1st, took a ride on the 2nd and most places were back open again. If they closed during National Holiday then it must have been only briefly.
Admittedly, Qingniangoulu - a local favorite - has taken a bad hit and probably will not come back into its former glory and that's a sad thing. Other than that though all I see is some areas cutting back a bit while others expand a little again. All in all just migration from one place to another.
Am not too much into the mood though to name specific locations again out of a mix of laziness and caution.

As said in Samy's guide, as a resident I am not willing to pack home and more looking for incalls. And on that point, I got to say that BBS, MP and saunas make me a bit anxious. Maybe a beginner thing I guess! I've seen report on very nice Sauna's but they are in Shanghai and pretty expensive for a young guy like me!
What would be nice would be to find a girl with her own appartment but I am not sure of my understanding of Samy's guide about it.
In your guide you say that we should not follow girls to their appartment and then say for ST appartment is not a problem.

Well, you may think I'm crazy but before getting a girlfriend, and the few month after having her, I had many freebies, only chinese girls.
Always went to their place, not mine (same with my gf for the first night).
The fact is I know some of those freebies may fall into drama, marriage stuff and so on, so I do not want them to know where I live!
Notice that I never go out with my credit card / ID and always plan my budget + 100RMB before leaving home. (the +100RMB is a secure cash to take a taxi back home in case I spend all the rest! put it in a side pocket)

Not sure how many have noticed, but as I was out and about the past week I have noticed that nearly all of the BBS and even most of the legit massage places in the CBD have shut their doors (locked with those big bicycle locks and chains). I can only assume that it is due to the meeting of the Central Committee that starts this weekend. The only places I saw open were a few of the high-end tourist massage places for foot massages near Silk Market and a couple of places (high-end legit only) near the big 5-stars. Has not seemed to slow down Maggie's, at least I hope it won't.
Hopefully my favorite places will open again after the party meeting has been completed.

Things are not good in the sauna scene in Beijing. Of course, it's always tight anyway around the national day holidays (ie, now), but since the crackdown started earlier this year, it's way worse.
Inevitably, this is having an impact on the viability of saunas. A girl I know from one sauna told me a while ago that the local police station had told her bosses that they were keeping the screws on all the saunas in their district, in the expectation that some of them would go out of business. And if they busted a place and caught naughty goings-on, they'd close it down. Prostitution and drug crackdown hits city's streets in latest phase
The city's police department ramped up its campaign on Monday against businesses that front for prostitution and drug gangs and says it will now focus on looking for illegal activity on the city's streets.
The crackdown began in April with the closure of the nightclub Heaven Earth, where prostitutes were allegedly readily available.
This week, the campaign entered what police are calling its third phase.
Statistics from the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau show that the police have broken up more than 240 alleged prostitution gangs and suspended the operation of 39 entertainment venues since the operation began six months ago, according to Mirror Evening News.
Since the campaign started, the bureau has received 1,205 reports of gambling, a year-on-year decrease of 66.4 percent. It received 1,931 reports of prostitution, a year-on-year decrease of 42.6 percent.
The bureau said reports of gambling and prostitution during the past six months have been at an all-time low.
The third phase of the crackdown will target providers of sexual services who have been flushed out of the nightclubs and other entertainment venues and who are now working on the streets or meeting clients online. Some of the prostitutes are also understood to be doing businesses from stores masquerading as foot massage shops and hair salons.
The municipal police have set up a plainclothes team in partnership with district and county branches and are carrying out investigations of suspected illegal businesses.
The municipal police department has also set up a website through which people can report businesses suspected of providing access to prostitutes, gambling and drugs.
Since the closure of some well-known nightclubs and KTVs, many residents have received spam messages that contain vague words such as "healthcare" or "foot massage" that may imply sexual services are being provided, according to Beijing Evening News.
To help root out the prostitutes from local communities, a new branch called the Special Office for Cracking Down on Prostitution, Gambling and Drug Use has been set up and was unveiled on Monday.
The municipal police department has also selected the 11th day of each month to be a Law Information Day in an attempt to spread awareness and will also provide three-day law training courses for employees from entertainment sector businesses in the city.
The training will include knowledge of laws and regulations about entertainment services, safety regulations and lessons drawn from real cases.
The municipal police force has provided general training to 368,000 employees from the city's 857 bathing service providers since Sept 11, according to Mirror Evening News.

I can say with near certainty that you will have little luck or no with the Maggie's employees. Most will be coy about their availability as they coax overpriced (60 RMB and up, if I recall correctly) drinks out of you, quickly slurp them down and move on to the next target if you don't ante up with another.
Having said that, I concede that they are charming and have counted a couple of them as friends, to a minor degree. Funny enough, I met the first of the two as she made goo-goo eyes to me as she sat inside the Starbucks at The Village of Sanlitun. We struck up a conversation, canoodled a little and I invited her to my place. She visited me a week later and told me about her overly obese much older German boyfriend. She further told me of her poor upbringing on a farm, etc., standard tale, but also said that she was attending Renmin U (not true, as I would discover later). Though she was sweet, she was a little overweight and has terrible teeth, poor, poor girl. A few weeks later she told me that she was applying for a job as a Maggie's bargirl. JayI used acevpn.com when I was in China in July. It costs $5.95/month and is easy to set up. I also used it on my iPad and iPhone.
As the other members say, I don't think you want to look at ISG from your hotel room if you're planning on using it for fun if you aren't behind a VPN.
I was staying in a hotel with a very, very crappy internet connection, and it seemed that some things worked better behind the VPN, which was an added bonus. But I am not sure if that was actually true.

Prostitution and drug crackdown hits city's streets in latest phase
The city's police department ramped up its campaign on Monday against businesses that front for prostitution and drug gangs and says it will now focus on looking for illegal activity on the city's streets.
The crackdown began in April with the closure of the nightclub Heaven Earth, where prostitutes were allegedly readily available.
This week, the campaign entered what police are calling its third phase.
Statistics from the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau show that the police have broken up more than 240 alleged prostitution gangs and suspended the operation of 39 entertainment venues since the operation began six months ago, according to Mirror Evening News.
Since the campaign started, the bureau has received 1,205 reports of gambling, a year-on-year decrease of 66.4 percent. It received 1,931 reports of prostitution, a year-on-year decrease of 42.6 percent.
The bureau said reports of gambling and prostitution during the past six months have been at an all-time low.
The third phase of the crackdown will target providers of sexual services who have been flushed out of the nightclubs and other entertainment venues and who are now working on the streets or meeting clients online. Some of the prostitutes are also understood to be doing businesses from stores masquerading as foot massage shops and hair salons.
The municipal police have set up a plainclothes team in partnership with district and county branches and are carrying out investigations of suspected illegal businesses.
The municipal police department has also set up a website through which people can report businesses suspected of providing access to prostitutes, gambling and drugs.
Since the closure of some well-known nightclubs and KTVs, many residents have received spam messages that contain vague words such as "healthcare" or "foot massage" that may imply sexual services are being provided, according to Beijing Evening News.
To help root out the prostitutes from local communities, a new branch called the Special Office for Cracking Down on Prostitution, Gambling and Drug Use has been set up and was unveiled on Monday.
The municipal police department has also selected the 11th day of each month to be a Law Information Day in an attempt to spread awareness and will also provide three-day law training courses for employees from entertainment sector businesses in the city.
The training will include knowledge of laws and regulations about entertainment services, safety regulations and lessons drawn from real cases.
The municipal police force has provided general training to 368,000 employees from the city's 857 bathing service providers since Sept 11, according to Mirror Evening News.I am not familiar with either establishment, but my understanding is that both are (were?) high-end KTVs with takeout availability at 2,000 RMB (roughly $300) and up, not inclusive of the drinks inside said place. I once argued with a rather ugly, naive and stupid local girl (amazingly, one who claimed to be related to a top-ranking cop) that men would not be paying 10,000 to 20,000 RMB simply for "good conversation" with a "college-educated" girl, as she insisted. I've never been there (have walked past it), though another poster here recounted observing the comely talent as they were dropped off for a night's shift. As of last spring there was a sauna (Golden somesuch, recounted in long-ago postings on this site), which I would categorize as a four- to five-star hotel offered FS, with your choice of girls for roughly 2,000 RMB, a bit rich, but a very nice place, included a suite for the act, a nice sauna/whirlpool area and a buffet. I am not sure about whether the JW Marriott is GF, but I heard an interesting thing from a Beijing friend, a girl who's a legitimage masseuse, about the hotel's spa, which she hears may be offering "special massages" (whether that's HE or FS is unclear) in rooms with a staff of girls separate from the spa. My acquaintance quit the spa after management outsourced its services to a company well-known in China for operating spas with "extras". So, anybody interested in an overpriced rub (just a standard massage in the spa ran upwards of US $100) and wants to check it out, I'd be interested in hearing about it. Frankly, I'd be very surprised it would happen at a Marriott (run by a Mormon family), but the hotels are licensed, and in this case to a Thai princess, sez my friend.

You will almost certainly go unchallenged in any 5 star hotel in Beijing - absolutely no need to register a guest.
If you want to make absolutely sure as you check in ask the staff behind the counter to let you have a word to the duty manager - he / she will come out to see you - just take him / her slightly to one side and explain that you spend up to 50 nights in Beijing each year but you normally stay at a rival hotel.
Proceeed to tell him / her that you will be bringing a guest to your room after 11pm and in a firm but not insulting voice tell him / her 'There will not be a problem with that will there!'.
Don't ask it - state it clearly - he / she will say certainly sir - your room number and I will inform hotel security. Guarantee you 100% you will not be challenged whatever time you roll in and with any number of w.hores tucked under your wing.
Been using www.strongvpn.com "open vpn" service.... works great everywhere and seems to be as reliable as I could ask for. A few bucks more a month than some of the generics, but they have been aroudn for many years and I am set up with a US IP address... makes life easy..

For the case of the JW Marriott, it's not even a question of being challenged. I rolled in most nights between 3-5 am except for my set of 3 girls that came up early one evening for a pre-Maggies gang bang around 8. Nobody even looked our way. If you want more privacy, bring the girls in through the B1 level entrance (opposite side of the main entrance). There's nobody down there and you walk right to the elevators without encountering a soul. Simple!

Not real sure what to think of this so far, but a handful of girls have gone over to the dark side recently. There are a couple of Mongolian guys in town that are snagging them and trying to muscle into the "business" in Beijing apparently. I don't know too much about it really, but I assume they're trying to pimp the girls out. With the business being quite limp lately (pun intended...) they probably made some lame assurances about financial stability or something to lure them out. The girls in question were not some of the more popular ones at Maggies so they might've fallen for that old protection BS...
Anyhow, just tossing this out to see if you guys in town are seeing more of it or not. Hopefully they won't have enough of the girls to be able to make real rate hike take effect. Fortunately I don't have to go searching for girls this time, as I am all set up for the coming trip in about 2 weeks. First-timers in town may think we've been drinking electric Kool-Aid with the talk about the Mongolians... :eek:

The place was quite, but there were a handful of girls there. I made a round of the bar and sat with a stunning Mongolian. She offered 2000rmb all night, I said 1000rmb, and she agreed for 2 hours. And we left. I wasn't inside for more than 5 minutes.
Pay 500rmb to chat is not cool. Was the girl you were chatting with wearing a Maggies name tag? From what I've read they don't provide any action, so I don't bother with them.

I am still looking forward to my first trip up there, possibly seeing Bad Boy Billy and the Tanuki as well as some other notables from this thread, casually flirting with the bar girls and letting a stunning mongolian know that she is mine for the evening without the discussion of price, enjoying the atmosphere until I want to leave, then letting her know to grab her coat and follow me! The key part of your message is "A few pops and hours later" - they usually consider that LT and will want more than 1K - but you may be a better negotiator than I am :)

Not quite as doable as it used to be, especially for the ones who are more in demand. But the later the night gets, the better those chances are for 1K. Throw in a breakfast at the Den for a couple hundred extra to get some stamina at 5 am...

If you've read BBB's posts lately, you might notice that some of the "girls" have been there awhile. Not as much new talent of late, though I saw some hotties last month there. There's a Chinese girl (not a bar employee) who allegedly will go for 500 but I don't guess that's LT. Quite a few ladies have been going home alone so hanging out later can bring some benefits. You also may want to consider some of the other venues around, such as Xiu, HRC, Chocolate, etc. Maggies is not the only haunt for Mongolians, just the best, but they're around in various places. Ladies from other lands can be fun also.

Hi guys, this is my first post to the group so I'll start by saying hello (to all the regulars) and that I very much enjoy reading the great stuff that has been posted. Recently I have become a somewhat frequent traveler to BJ, and I'm starting to get a bit more skilled in speaking Chinese. These two factors (combined with my somewhat recent single status) have led to lots of fun during my travels.
Now to the action:
I was in BJ with some friends and we decided to hit Xiu, which has been mentioned here a bunch of times. The scene is great if you are looking for freebie action (have pulled here successfully a few times), or just somewhere nice to have a drink (w a girl or co-workers), but not what I would call a typical spot for our hobby.
I'm sitting w 2 friends and I notice two girls sitting behind us at a different table, one who is super cute, in girl next door sort of way. (They are both Chinese btw), the other who looks a little more umm rough. My estimates are that they are both late 20's early 30's.

I was in Beijing for a week, after RTFF, I called up Lily who quoted RMB1000 full service. I negotiated and she would not go lower than RMB800 which is too expensive in my opinion in China and proves earlier monopoly statements about Lily true. When I was a schoolboy, Mongolians seemed like a think of the past; a group of barbarian people that had a lust for blood and killings. And Genghis Khan used to be a brutal killer while Napoleon, Alexander, Peter (the Tsar) and Charles (Charlemagne) used to be the “Greats”. Mongolians seemed to have lived at a certain period of history, done their barbaric job and then disappeared from this earth. And Mongolians were always men; the “image” of Mongolian women seemed non-existent. That was the stupid stereotypical nonsenses that western-viewed history was creating some decades ago (and still creates in some cases).
And then I grew up and I read some real history and I understood that Mongolians used to be one of these nations that made an empire (actually the largest contiguous land empire in history) and then lost it; so simple. And that they are actually a great nation with amazing culture. And that Mongolia is a country that I must visiting to experience this unique vulture; but never had the chance so far.
And then (two weeks ago), I visited Maggie's. And I found the real Mongolians (the women this time); and I fell in love with 5 of them (although I slept with 2 of them); and it is the first time in my life that I've been with a working girl and still thinking of her 2 weeks after our encounter. And if this preamble sounds to you fellow reader as being “silly” or “inappropriate” for a mongers' forum better save some time and don't read the rest of the story.
I stayed 5 days in Beijing (my second visit there but the first one including active nightlife) and I spend 4 nights with my Mongolian loves (one night I had to sleep, because 5 days/nighs without sleep is too much at my age). In this first part I'll describe night one, in part II (which I do not know when I'll post) nights two and three and in the part III night five (night four was the one that I got some sleep). All the girl names mentioned in this report are not real.
Night One
Sunday night, have arrived in Beijing at about 15:00 and after a short nap and an early dinner I opted for a drink at Hard Rock. I was there at about 20:30 and it was quite dead. Two guys in the bar drinking some whiskeys, 2-3 small companies in the tables and myself having my first taste of a Chinese beer in China (during my first visit my Chinese business collaborators infused me into litters of Chinese wine). Before ending my beer a Korean lady (middle thirties) enters the Hard Rock, spots me and takes a sit near me starting a typical conversation. Kind and polite girl with very good English but not my type, so after smoking a cigarette together I tell her that I leave. She asks me where I go and I tell her that I go to Maggie's. “Maybe see you later” she replies (and we indeed saw each other later).
On a taxi (BTW: I found taxi drivers in Beijing very knowledgeable on all usual mongering places and very capable of finding any place if you have the address in Chinese) and I made my entrance at Maggie's at about 22:00. The place is not exactly dead but close to this; 6-7 patrons 5-6 Maggie's girls and 2-3 working girls. Immediately I liked the place; nice ambiance, nice music, good service from the bar-man (woman) and what was only missing was somebody to talk and probably later fuck.
The moment my drink arrives a sweet beauty that was sitting diagonally to my position smiles and waves me to join her. I grab my drink and join her. During the introductory 2-minutes typical chat I figured out that Nana is Chinese (although she looks more Russian to me) and her English are very good. She tells me a story of being Chinese but having some Russian origin but I do not really care for her ethnic origin. I just care for her perfect tits and her amazingly hot lips that I start picturing around my dick. She asks for a drink and given the cuteness and the very good English I say yes since I also want some kind of discussion before any possible negotiation. Let me say here that I am a very talkative person and I NEED to establish some kind of chemistry with a working girl before going to bed with her independently of how beautiful, sexy or hot she is. And of course the best chemistry starts from the eyes (and this kind of chemistry was not there) but words can create it also. The drink arrives, “cheers”, and after 30 seconds she asks me what I'll do tonight. I say “it depends, let's discuss it a bit later” and she replies “OK, I understand, it is 2000 ST and 3000 for all night”. It was not the price you know, it was this instant “selling approach” that stroke me bad. I smile, not ironically, just in a way that says “that was too fast” and say “we'll see”. And she replies “if you are not interested you can go now” (with a smile). At that point I gave her my “you just fucked it” smile and I left her.
Back to the security of my stool in the bar and 5 minutes after a Maggie's girl comes close to me and starts a discussion. In the beginning I try to discuss with her (her English are not very good) but given the very indifferent appearance and the fact that I am pissed off with my stupidity with Nana I don't give a lot of attention and when after 5 minutes she ask for a drink I politely refuse. Despite this she continues to stay with me and she tries to find new topics for discussion. At that point girls start to arrive and I decide to give my attention to them. Most of them arrive in couple. The first couples are not something very interesting but at one moment two girls at their mid twenties enter and one of them grabs my attention immediately. She is not particularly beautiful but she is very sexy. She is wearing a simple pair of jeans, a nice black shirt with open buttons down to the middle of her chest and her perfectly shaped neck is surrounded by a single line of pearls. My type guys; absolutely my type. While she was giving her purse in the “guardarobe” our eyes met and chemistry started. Yes it was love at first sight :-o
She is going with her friend in the bar diagonally to my position and they order drinks. She lights a cigarette and we started eye contact and then eye flirting for about 10 minutes. The Maggie's girl is still with me and despite the fact that I barely give any attention to her she starts being more talkative than before, making body contact and trying to get my attention. The very moment that I decide to move towards the two Mongolian girls the free places in the bar around them are occupied by a group of 5-6 girls. Seeing me trying to make a move but then holding back, my Mongolian girl takes her friend and they move to a table (the tall ones with the stools). Seeing this I wait 2 minutes, I excuse myself from the Maggies' girl and I go and join them.
Denize is more beautiful from a closer distance and her smile (she smiles with her lips and eyes) can probably melt the equivalent amount of ice melted by the warming effect of 10.000 tons of CO2. While her English are below average the tone of her voice combined with her body language is a Viagra substitute. We talk for about 20 minutes for simple things (how is life in Beijing, why she likes pearls etc.) and after this I tell her that I like her. She makes a sexy short laugh, puts her lips 1 millimeter from my right ear and she wetly whispers “I like you too you know, from the very first time I saw you” while her right hand softly goes around my neck and left ear like a snake made of velvet. How much I love these perfect theatrical-style lies! My erection was visible now.
We stand there looking each other for about 3 minutes without saying anything, just looking deep into each others eyes, and then she drinks the last drop of her drink, lights a cigarette, inhales a big amount of smoke, ex-hales the smoke slowly creating a cloud of smoke all around (but not directly to my face), closes her eyes, approaches her lips in my ear, puts her right hand over my left kidney and asks me: “will you come to my place?”. I want to reply that I could follow her even to hell tonight but my only one brain cell that still could thing about numbers convinced me to ask “how much will cost me”. She quoted 1000, and we left Maggie's.
The taxi took us to a place about 15 minutes away from Maggie's in a big apartment complex. We had to walk about 400 meters from the drop off point to the entrance of her block, it was raining, she has opened her umbrella and we walked with our bodies glued in one piece of flesh restrained by our clothes. We entered her apartment (a very tidy place), which she shares with the girl we left in Maggie's, and we went to her room. She asked me to wait a minute and she prepared the shower while bringing a towel for me. We slowly undress each other while fondling and kissing and we head for the shower.
We had a rather quick shower washing each other and after this straight to her bed. Lots of hugs and kissing and then she performs 34.5 to me, then me 34.5 to her and then a 69 that almost made me come but I controlled myself. Denize joins us again but I am totally captured by Mina's stories and although I have Denize inside my right arm I am keep looking at Mina continuously. At a certain point I feel that I have to make something so Denize can enter the discussion and I completely change the subject into food preferences. We keep talking about food preference for some time and then I invite both of them for dinner the next day (it was actually the same day because it was about 03:30). They accepted with pleasure, we had another drink all together, we exchanged phone numbers and we agreed to meet next day at 20:00 for dinner in a place that will text to me next day.
It was about 04:30 when I went back to my hotel and I've had only 2 hours of sleep in front of me. I had to wake up at 06:30 since my first meeting (over breakfast) was at 07:30.
That was night one in Beijing. It was the night that I had a perfect time with Denize, my “Mongolian love on first sight” and the night that I met my “Mongolian love on second sight” Mina.

Hi Guys,
My first post and I'm happy to share my many experiences across China. Its harder and harder to find PYTs these days and I'm happy to find this forum for the help.
I've been hitting BJ a lot this year and am usually really good at sniffing out all kinds of action, but BJ has so far eluded me. One night during the summer (it was during the World Cup) I walked from Sanlitun to the Hard Rock Cafe and the Landmark, then back to Workers Stadium thinking I might find some street action, but nothing to be found. 2. I passed out and she "almost" robbed me blind! I barely even remember anything after blowing my wad but she laid down next to me until I woke with a start with the sun shining in my room. I panicked and went straight to my pants. Wallet still there less my cash (funny, I had some New Taiwan Dollars that looked like RMB but were worth about 20 RMB each) but thankfully she left my wallet. More importantly, she didn't take my iPhone in my other pocket! Damn. I'm usually a lot more careful. So, guys, be careful out there.
Last thing. She also took a can of nuts which set me back another RMB40! DIdn't find that out until check out. Biatch.
