Hey Man...I don't want to ruin your travel plans...but its better to face the truth and reality than get frustrated later.

India is not an ideal destination for mongering even for us Indians or Asians or white or Black American....after reading few pages in this thread you would get an idea. Pubs and normal bars close by 11.30 to 12.30 AM...in gogo bars...frequent raid and closing time of 9.30 PM spoils the mood.

Bar hopping in India is chaotic, unpredictable and frankly depressing...if you monger in India its all comes down to Chance...being there at the right time and right place, luck etc etc..which in this age of information free flow is close to superstition stuff...

You don't have to depend on chance or luck when you are surrounded by so much info ...the problem is...there are not many places to go around with that info.

Compare it to Thailand or PH or China or Hong kong, Malaysia, Macau yeah i need to spell all the countries just on the right side of ours to get an idea of difference between heaven and normal.

If it is absolutely necessary for you to be in India..then by all means try your "luck" here...but even if you have a coupe of free days and you don't have to be in India...i would strongly suggest with my 12 years of mongering in India that you SKIP India by all means you can.

There's a paradise just a couple of hours journey from India...where you do not have to worry about luck or chance or skin color etc etc more than a million working girls 24/7 to serve all man needs. :)

And here is where all the trouble started. After I crossed the street I felt someone put his hand on my shoulder. When I turned around I saw a gentleman, about 50 years old, moustache, glasses, clean white shirt. He started to ask me what I did inside that parlour, he had a few questions about what happened inside.

When I looked around I saw that he was joined by two other men. They showed me their cards which showed POLICE. They took me inside a taxi. Inside they started to make all kinds of threats to me which I will summarize as follows:

1. You did a very bad thing by going inside that parlour;

2. We will take you to the police-station, will make your photograph and get it into tomorrow's newspaper;

3. You will be locked into prison for 14 days;

4. After 14 days you will come out and you'll have to appear in court;

5. We will inform all your relatives and your employer;

6. Aap ki bahut bezati hogi!

But, but, but, now the "but" came: they told me there was a way out! I would have to pay them 2 lakh Rs. As I was not in a position to negotiate, I agreed. And they took me to a ATM. Which only permitted 10.000Rs. On a daily basis. I took the 10. 000Rs and they took me to another atm, which permitted 10.000 as well.

After I had withdrawn 40.000 Rs. (from 4 atm's) I saw that their behaviour towards me changed and became more soft. They started "fathering" me and told me not to go there again, to get married so I would save the money. They took the 40. 000, told me not to talk to anyone about this, and let me go.

Well bro's: I just experienced the Mumbai corrupt police in action. Probably they didn't get enough hafta from Akkichiki so they attacked us customers.

This was a lesson to me but let this also be a warning to you all.

Summarising my mumbai trip which ended with not much success

Monday: caught hold of a friend of mine and we headed all the way to mira road. Traffic was killing and it was 9:15pm by the time we crossed check naka. Since my friend had told me that most of these bars close early, headed straight to Red Horse. Very few girls around - 4-5 and a couple of ones singing. Ordered some beer and call out the prettiest of the lot. She quoted 3k for ST. Not impressed with it and due to lack of choices...exited the bar and headed back. Most of the other were closing by 10!!

Whats happened to mumbai!!

Tuesday : Called a few providers from CL/locanto. One lady quoted 10k for sending a girl. Told her to get lost. Then another said 3.5k. Was not sure of quality but still asked her to send a few for selection. Got a call from some guy to come outside the hotel. Found one lone girl in the auto and she was very average. Paide her Rs 100 and told them to get lost

Provider call many time and promised better girls. But by then had lost hope.

Wednesday : No action and wound up my mumbai trip early.

I am able to get better action in Chennai/BLR than in Mumbai.

Sorry if this sounds pompous. But i firmly believe that if you are gonna monger then you must have the balls to stand up to such a situation. Tell me what did you do wrong ? Were you caught with your pants down ? Christ you weren't even caught on the crime scene. Have the balls to go with them and waste 3 hours, and ask clearly for their name , which police station as you have to call your lawyer for bail application if any. And last but least have the sense to not carry more than 1 ATM. Been there done that, never paid more than 200 (in total) in so many years. Must have been caught about a dozen times. Lie say that you work for a law firm / newspaper etc and that your boss is aware of what you are doing. BUT you just can't PANIC not if u want to hold on to your money.

Somehow, I had avoided the Ma*im MPs since visiting one near the SD temple a few years back. First of all thanks for writing back to me. My second visit to NL, wanted to check out the second building.

But as luck would have it, entered the lane from the other side, i.e. the one not near Ha*kis*an*d*ss Hos*p*t*l and entered the building which was probably the second from that side.

getting infected with hiv is not the end of the day and with modern medications and therapies people live healthy lives upto 20 years.

some of the early signs of hiv are visible after 6 days of infection. this is when immune system reacts to the virus. person might experience some, all or in rara cases none of the symptoms. symptoms are.

body rashes

fever

night sweats

sore throat

flu like symptoms

constant headache

loss of hunger

general feeling of unwell and depression


a situation i faced in my life almost a year back, penning it down as it might be useful for others.

treatment

i did a lot of research on pep, do google it if you want to know about it. if something like this ever happen to you (god willing i hope not) don't be scared, go meet a dr and start the pep within 72 hrs time period since the infection (fear), but the best is 48hrs. this is mainly used in labs for medics after a fear of post exposure, but mind that its not a cure, it prevents the infection to a 90%.

tests

1. antigen test: this is one the most early test that could be used, within upto 7-14 days since the infection. not that conclusive since +ve can be false +ve as well. mine turned out to be negative on the 7th day. available in most of the clinics 600 bucks

2. pcr rna test: expensive and is adapted as international standards in some countries and used in the porn industry as well. it is available in wadala. test can be done from the 14th day to 21st day. very conclusive. chances of false +ve are less. had my chin up seeing the result as.ve again. 3k

3. elisa: international standard and the most conclusive. very cheap and free in some govt clinics. but the big worry. window period. do it once just before the 3 month period and after 6 months. did it twice and by gods grace the fear was gone 300 buck

window period : during this time a person who is doing the test can give false +ve and the other way around as well. the elisa should be done right before the 90th day since infection (3 months) and to confirm it after 6 months. the window period is considered between the 3rd and 6th month



now few things i have learnt, all i could say is

1. use two condoms if you fear the partner could have an infection (especially girls in mp or a sw)

2. nothing is safe in sex, you cannot predict anything or take things for granted.

3. know that you cannot change your fate, so leave it to god.

i hope this long post could be handy to fellow mongers!

Thanks in advance.Its Navalkar Lane (NL). It is quite far from domestic airport. I would reco you visting NL than kamatipura just for a simple reason "Quality". NL has much better quality than Kamathipura.

You can either take a cab from the domestic airport to charni road or take a train from santacruz/vileparle station to charni road station. Routes from station to reach NL are already mentioned in the thread. Landmark would be "Harkishandas Hospital"

Was staying in one of the *hotels in AK road. Called one of the providers "R*j" who caters to that area with 3k stuff.

I knew the girl would not be sophesticated enough to be taken inside the hotel but nevertheless asked him to get her nearby. As expected she was okay looking but surely would have raised eyebrows.

Asked if he has a place. He said closeby Leela for 600. Took her in a rick and found it was a biut shady place. But the set-up was very professional with all amenities for quickies.

I was looking for hotels which are known for this type of short 1-2 hour visits. Few years back I used to visit Hotel near shivsena bhavan, Ash***i Guest House and at Ballard Pier, Hotel Shimla Calcutta. Both used to charge around Rs.300 per hour and Rs.500-600 for 2 hour.

Are there any options like this in proper mumbai without going all the way to suburb or dahisar check naka? Please PM me the info if you do not like to publicly give it to me.

A couple of days back, I had for a seminar near airport. It would be interesting to know who stopped the girl in the first place & what time was it? If its late in the night & the lobby is more or less empty then it could be a problem in most hotels, specially with all the security issues.
