Google Maps is your go-to resource when trying to locate a spa based on FR. Most spa locations can be easily found via this method. When going to spa, you just go to the counter and say you want massage. They may ask dry or oil / cream and quote the counter cost. Before you pay, ask if you can see or choose from a line up. This means they will get their available therapists to come and you can choose from that line up. Some spas don't have line ups but you can ask for a specific therapist if you have one in mind. This works well if you go to a specific spa based on a FR with a therapist name mentioned.

Unless it is a spa like P spa or Cmft spa, you will need to pay the therapist seperately inside for her service depending on what you opt for. They will not directly ask for service at the start and you should not ask as well unless you have been with that therapist or spa before. After about 10-15 minutes of massage, the therapist would ask if you want any extra. At that time, I typically ask what are the options and she tells what services she provides. 1) Like I said, mongers are your friends and WGs only care about moolah. This is your basic understanding of the system that works. Try and scan the forum and decode hints. The website also provides regularly used abbreviations. DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT expect WGs to do anything except for money, so negotiate accordingly.

2) As for spa mongering, take pointers for the rates from the forum. Osmo (where you said you wish to go), takes INR 1600/- (60 minutes) or INR 2000/- (90 minutes). Stick to those rates. If you speak Bengali well, it is a bonus in most places as you will pass off as a local. Also, helps to go in a groups of 2 or more if it is a first time spa experience. Helps keep your nerves away. But, it is always a high to be able to pull off something scary, so embrace your fear!

3) Once you approach the counter, always ask for the lineup available before paying. If you don't like the lineup you can always make an exit. Though the receptionist will usually coax you to take someone, you can specify what you are specifically looking for there and they will usually give a good recommendation, especially if you are not convinced after seeing the lineup. I usually choose the Thais at Osmo, but local profiles like Piu if available is also workable (she is an old timer there).

4) Once inside, I usually take my time with the massage, if I am visiting the first time. In my experience, it makes the WG want to please if she knows that I am a newbie, I feel, and gives an element of surprise if you inevitably go down the extras negotiation. Once, the talk for extras come up, negotiate hard. Use tips from the forum to come to your price. About the age old debate, I usually prefer SG over anything else, but the problem with SG is that it functions only during night time and its difficult for me or anyone local to leave home during those hours as it will raise lots of suspicion. People travelling from outside Kolkata have an advantage here as they do not have to answer anyone when in Kolkata. Moreover SG has become way too expensive now. Last I heard the premium side was 5. 3 k for shot / dance and I don't usually prefer the non premium side so comparing only premium here. Went inside the room is all dimly lit with some soothing music playing. The reception lady was some young Indian girl who looked pretty. Wonder if she also provides service. - Counter: ₹1600.

- Inside (FS): ₹1000.

This has been the pricing since Pujo 2024 Earlier, it was:

- ₹1500 (counter) + ₹1000 (inside).

- Before that, ₹1250 (counter) + ₹1000 (inside).

With increasing number of spa, indie, online sites etc. There is also increasing chance of getting scammed. I'll mention my top 2 incidents where I got scammed:

1. Hyderabad: In Hyderabad, I fixed a deal through online site (not lozanto). I called A asked rate and about birds. Deal finalized through WhatsApp. Now, few minutes later another guy be called me saying that bird Maya is coming to your hotel. Be also told that Maya will call you before reaching your hotel. Maya called but declined to show her face on video call, we only talked in audio. Now, when she reached the room, she demanded whole amount+tips. She said, she has to give the amount to the driver who will deliver the money to bosss. I paid. Now, here comes the drama. I paid for night (3 shots). After 1 shot, she said he boss is calling her urgently, so she will have to return. I said what about refund, she pretended to make call to her boss, but no reply. She was very eager to leave. She said she would shout, tear her cloth and charge me with rape attempt if I try to stop her from leaving. Of course, I let her go, to not to make a scene in that hotel (it was 4/5 star). So, mood spoiled and money went to drain.

2. Delhi, for full night: Modus operandi, same like A and be. But here, bird Priya called me outside hotel so I can escort her to my hotel room. Outside hotel, she called me some 200 metres far from hotel. When I reached, there were two girls, Priya and one another. They told me to give money. I denied that I won't give cash in public, better come to hotel. They denied saying without payment can't enter hotel. So, I made the Upi payment. Now the scam begins. After payment, the another girl told Priya.

To drop her. Priya said ok. I objected. Then they both began shouting on road that you are paying girl to enjoy her CAt etc. Meanwhile, Priya said that she'll just drop her in 2 minutes, till then I wait in hotel. By this time, I knew that I have been scammed again big time and no point arguing in mid road at mid night LOL.

Lesson: Always, confirm video call before deal finalizing. In my both cases, they had denied. Secondly, online deal could be real risky if not careful, like in my case, I was getting sixth sense of "something fishy", still made payment.
