If you book a taxi as you come out of the arrivals door, it will cost 150 k plus tip. I don't use these guys anymore. Your best bet is to bypass all the taxi guys and head up the stairs to where taxis drop off people outside the departure area. As a taxi drops someone off, you can approach them and confirm they are using a meter. To get from the airport to where I stay on Danau Poso is never more than around 90 k so, with a tip added, I only ever pay 100 k (plus the 10 k for using the toll road if I arrive at a time when the traffic will be bad ie. Anytime that's not late at night).

One of the delights of being in Bali is that the daily (or more) massage is on offer everywhere. I had several very nice massages on the beach, costing usually 80 K or 100 K. I just realized, I already book a hotel at Sanur more than a month back. So its a few days for me at Kuta and a few days at Sanur. I'm wondering just how bad is the traffic on the way to Sanur from the Kuta night scene around 7 pm? Is it worth cancelling and losing the first nights room charge of $50? I suppose a two way trip will cost me $15 per day and there is no point in losing the cancellation fee.

I'll try my luck till 8:30 pm at Sanur then head to Kuta then.

I'm spending a couple of nights in Lovina and thought I'd spotted somewhere promising. It's called Seven Night Cafe but is actually a karaoke bar. I'm well aware of the X Houses, MPs, bars, and nightclubs. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find FL / WG daytime (10 am - 8 pm) that are available to come to my hotel? Particularly if you have any venues in mind where I can put eyes on the girls vs some app or dating site. Both in Kuta & Sanur. While we'll probably try out an MP or X house, we're much more into the idea of bringing girls back to the hotel as we do in all the other countries we visit.

Thanks for any suggestions.I'm afraid I don't know about Legian but, as for Sanur, as far as I know, there are really only a couple of ways to have FL / WG come to your hotel during the daytime. One is to meet them online on one of the dating sites (DateInAsia, Indonesia Cupid etc) which takes a bit of an investment of time before arriving. The other would be to go to one of the X houses and ask for a girl to be delivered. I know that Putu at 41 x will deliver a girl to your hotel room if you give him your details. The downside is that you don't get to choose what he will bring beforehand (there's no catalog to pick from) but presumably if you don't like what he's brought he'll take her away and bring another like he does when you 'dine in' at his establishment. Maybe others have an alternative idea.

LT starts with 700 k, but I didn't try this time.

For accessing ISG I now use unblock. Ca but it cost some time to figure that out.

As mobile provider I use Telkomsel which have the best network coverage over all Indonesia.

What mobile provider provides best 3G in both Bali and LBJ?FWIW, posted some info sometime ago about Bali / Indo SIM. As others have said SimPati is best and I use it and keep one active. Just add internet when in Indo. Locals use other ones which are cheaper.

Think I still see the kiosk at airport and phone shops selling them. Both will set up for you. I had paid from 20 K to 50 K for the SIM only; some places sell for 200-400 K. Now being older and wiser, my girl from phone shop will setup reload for me when we meet. Similarily in Jakarta.

If you have problems with accessing sites, get a VPN or Tor. Some VPNs are quite cheap by the month or year if you do not have a corporate solution.

Hi Guys, I spent three days in Sanur and three days in Kuta last month, both at Mercur Hotel which I liked very much. Been back a few days, so time for the trip report. 2 efforts.

My preference is for Internet, order-in to my Sanur hotel for festivities. First free night I manged to arrange an o / and booking with a contact off CL. The disappointing thing was that she was not available that night due to a friends party (she sent me photos. LOL), so abut 10.30 pm I figured I was getting nowhere that night on line so would go for a massage and see if I could get lucky.

Low and behold, 5 min walk from the hotel and a guy offering girls approached me on the street. Yep, I'm as surprised as you are. WAY out my comfort zone, but I was ready to go and figured what the hell, would risk a rookie mistake. I jumped on the back of his scooter and off we went, 5 min to a hotel around the x houses. He said wait 5 min we bring girls. Sigh. Not many lights on, expecting to get mugged. The girls (2) came in on the back of a scooter, and I thought I had won lotto. I am hoping that someone on this forum can update me on the current condition of Yeh Panes, a hot springs resort, maybe 10 K north of Tabanan.

I stayed there 3 times during the late nineties and have fond memories of my visits (up to 21 days at a time). I was generally the only guest apart from a few buses (full of Taiwanese tourists from cruise ships) which visited the hot springs every week. Only one lot of those tourists would stay overnight.

Of course there is zero mongering with Balinese ladies. I remember chatting to a Balinese girl (university student) who was attending a function at the resort and wearing traditional dress. After a few minutes her father got quite angry that we were chatting! That was the end of my attempted seduction! She apologetically, but dutifully, left me and joined another group.

My days consisted of early morning landscape photography followed by a relaxing spa. After lunch, my petite Javanese beauty (who was on permanent night shift at reception) used to visit me. We oft times used to share an intimate spa in one of the fenced spa pools higher up the slope. Late afternoon I would do more photography and after dinner I would often lie in bed making love to a Javanese girl in the romantic light of thousands of fire flies (that resided in a big tree less than 5 feet from my balcony). The security guard at the back gate would always offer to arrange a nightly girl for me.

I got very friendly with the Balinese working there and often helped some of the staff (for example bringing tablets from Australia for a lady whose husband had been badly hurt in a motorbike accident - they were too poor to be able to afford any medicines). In return, I was invited to the homes of some of the Balinese villagers and even attended a Balinese wedding (an all day affair) and a couple of fiery funerals. I wrote the history of the Yeh Panes hot spring, that had miraculously sprang from the base of the Banyan tree to cure a King's bad skin (long story). Apparently, the story had never before been documented, and this was sincerely appreciated by the locals as the Banyan tree and spring was actually a local 'temple'.

I am very aware that these types of locally owned (actually Denpasar Chinese owned) resorts have little proper maintenance and fall apart quite quickly. Can anyone advise the current state of the property. I would like to visit again, although this time it will be with my Chinese SYT.

"Targeting prostitution in Sanur, Denpasar City to issue order for Rp 50 million fine for both 'users' and 'providers'.

The city of Denpasar is ready to crack down on the infamously thriving prostitution business in Sanur.

The Denpasar government has announced it will issue a public order, Denpasar Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2015, that says either providers, users, and / or those that offer prostitution services will be subject to criminal sanctions and a fine of Rp 50 million, according to Merdeka.

"This regulation is not only for the provider, but also sanctions users. We are holding socialization for each district, village, neighborhood, and so on," Head of the Denpasar Civil Service Police Unit, Ida Bagus Alit Wiradana, told Merdeka on Thursday.

Wiradana says the public order will take effect in 2016 after it's been thoroughly socialized.

And I visited three spas on my Bali trip. The first one Riverview was the most expensive and with the most horrible lineup. Most of the dozen or more gals looked malnourished slumdweller type. The kind you would shrink away from if they approached you on the street. I picked the most healthy looking gal and she turned out to be nicer with plump boobs and well padded in the right places. The type of gal you would find in more well-off family homes. Had some spanish name I can't remember. Refused a second shoot in the jacuzzi even after I hinted I would pay.

Verdict: Avoid - Pathetic lineup. Maybe the better ones were occupied, but pickings are slim and uber expensive at that for the quality.

The next was SeleXtion SPA bang opposite Bidadari Biru. Chose the most expensive beer massage at 600 K with full nude for 90 minutes. Only HJ for the price. The one I was recommended was called "Astroid" (without the "o") and she turned out to be a real performer of P0rn star levels. A mature lady, half Chinese with a figure very close to Kim Kardy curves. And she worked real hard to get me up a second time (unfortunately) immediately after the first shoot. I should have asked her for a half-time break, I did not and after 20 minutes of trying I gave up. She didn't really (to her credit) - I told her to give up as I couldn't feel the bullets loading after all that effort (LOL), but she would have continued to try and please if I had insisted. Unfortunately I forgot my strip of taladafil back home and paid the price. And I didn't feel like shopping around and navigating fakes and spurious goods at the last minute.

She wanted 2 Mil for FS which I refused. Said she has an 8 yr ol daughter and needs to provide for her. Lots of sincere eye contact during the post shag conversation, embrace and cuddle. Gal selection is on computer screen. You need to ensure that it doesn't end on the hour and remind the lady its 90 minutes.

Verdict. Really worth it, ask for her by name, you won't be disappointed.

Third day I went to Celibrity spa on Tukad Cetarum Road. Can't remember what I paid for one hour but it was above 400 K maybe 650 K. No line up or computer images but the gal I got was a healthy and sweet somewhat semi-rural Indo gal with nice assets. Tall and buxom with generous boobs.

She did a good job not to the levels of Astroid, but with a sincere effort to please, and I let myself shoot on the 40th minute thinking I will ask for a double after a 10 minute recovery time. No sooner than I finished being scrubbed and bathed by her I realized one hour was up! She refused FS anyways and didn't want the money. Kept her panties on and I recall I may have opted out of a full nude offering because I got uncomfortable the previous day with Astroid rubbing her genitalia all over my thighs. What if one of them has some STD? I was a little appalled when she started it as normally I have always done a kitty inspection in the first minute of stripping (always at the risk of overt embarrassment on part of the gal) before proceeding.

So I was relieved when it was over the day before and opted out of a full nude offering this time. At 600 K definitely a very expensive shag. But if the treatment was satisfying, the time I waited for my taxi to arrive while at the reception was even more emotionally gratifying. The gals all wear lingere that is playboy movie standard and three of the lovely gals (who are normally not visible or on display in a lineup) decided they were interested in seeing me again and stepped out from their hideout (on cue from the receptionist) to engage my attention. Also visited Village Arum spa on Danau Poso and left in a hurry when an olympic wrestler type rural gal beckoned me to my room. I originally tried contact Body Arum Beer Spa based on the X map but the phone was unreachable and google did not help. And since the map is old I decided it may be closed now? The Village Arum SPA is a low end el-cheapo scam with the google web results advertising it as an upgraded body arum from the original owner. Avoid! It is tin-roofed / tiled low cost dwelling with un-glamorous women.

Apart from the spas I also picked up some FLs at sky garden. One porky looking plumpish gal (looked almost filipina-chinese cross) turned out to be really good. Upon reaching my room I sank into bed realizing the days travels had made me extremely fatigued. She really exceeded my expectations by showing a real sense of responsibility and pleasuring me with BBBJ and Cow gal etc as I lay mostly passive except when it was time for me to mount her from the rear. I forgot to take her number the next day darn! I missed her on the days I was too tired to stay late outside from a long days hectic activities. IMHO visiting an X house is nothing to be excited about unless you dont find an exciting stripper/Bar Gal/FL in a lively atmosphere to take back to your comfortable hotel room or budget is a constraint.

To get to it you head East back towards Singaraja from Lovina and turn right at the first traffic lights. You then turn right again (so now heading west again) and the place is along there on the left. I honestly can't remember how far that first set of lights is from Lovina. I am sure he wasn't talking about the lights at the intersection of Jalan Mawar (Rini Hotel) and the main road. Maybe these lights are almost back on the outskirts of Singaraja.

Have tried a Spa for which I didn't find a report using the search.

Prince Spa, Jl. Mahendradata Selatan no 57 be, so like opposite end of the street compared to Bidadari Bidu.

I came to this place through a girl working there which couldn't find my place as I'm living a little out in the sticks.

She is Arin, around 35, slim with nice skin, soft breasts, not shaved.

I took the basic massage with HJ as we agreed FS before online.

Rooms are small but clean and with 1 AC for 2 rooms, so if there are all rooms booked you might hear the neighbour as the wall it not closed.

Google for mybestvpn or something similar. Takes a few seconds to manually setup up a vpn on android or iOS nowadays.

So walking around Kuta you will get accosted by woman who try to get you to have a massage and often try to make you think you will get more.

Maybe you will but they all looked a scam to me as the hot woman stay outside and you get lead to a dingy shop.

After reading here I went and tried Kuta Bugar, I foolishly walked it there, don't bother as you will get there a soaking mess!

Anyway, I arrived and found this unassuming place, everyone was friendly though so all good.

The lady demanded 120 k for 1 hour up front but I said show me the girls first! She laughed and showed me the goldfish bowl behind. Annoyingly the window was striped so you couldn't easily see everyone.

I struggled through the plain, fat and ugly before settling on a plump cute girl who called herself Angela. She did tell me her full name so I understood why she was called Angela! Way too long.

We go upstairs, she has a lovely smile and makes me feel at ease. Get to the room which is small, with a massage table, shower plus small cabinet to put your clothes in.

I shower, get on the table face down and she gives an ok massage but chatting all the time, very pleasant. Only after 20 minutes into the massage does she enquire if I want more. I say yes, how much? She wants 300 k so I laugh and say 200 k. She pulls a face so I say 300 k if I get extras. We go through my list (BJ, FS etc) but get nowhere and as it is killing the mood I say take off your top and bra then.

She agrees and pulls out these lovely soft tits, I have a play but she is looking at the door all the time which I then notice has a window in it.

She tells me that they often look through to check what is going on and anything over a HJ means the sack.

So back on goes her clothes, and she starts the HJ with loads of cream. I sneak my hand back under her top and just lie back and enjoy things.

I'm well traveled. I've been to most of the major scenes around the world. Usually multiple times. I've had fun everywhere from hidden gems like Hanoi to the neon plastered streets of Pattaya. I've been multiple times to Phuket, Bangkok, Costa Rica, Mexico, the States, and various places in western Europe. I've been to Angeles City too. It can be endlessly frustrating given the forum layout to educate oneself on the Bali scene. Sifting through 1500 posts on a single topic for a city is not efficient.

So I will just tell you about my experience. Maybe this can help you avoid having to read through hundreds of posts that are not organized by any topic other than "Bali".

Disclaimer. This was my first trip to Bali. Even worse, I only spend 4 days in Bali (2 in Legian, 2 in Sanur). I in no way pretend to be even a novice at this particular scene. This is just my experience.

Landed at DPS and hauled ass to domestic terminal to grab a 4 G SIM card. Traveling with a factory unlocked phone and a local SIM with plenty of data is a must for me. Exchange rates at the airport looked terrible but had converted enough of the last country's currency to pay for a taxi. A taxi from domestic seemed cheaper than the rates I read posted. So perhaps grabbing Taxi service from domestic is a notable discount from international arrivals. But it's a long walk.

We had booked All Seasons Legian from suggestions on this thread & various travel sites. Girl friendly. Looked decent. Both rooms were terrible. I like a warm room but the AirCon in both rooms on full blast for hours was terrible. And the second you leave your room (as you expect in SE Asia), the A / see goes off when you pull your room key. They had an awful cover band playing at the pool until 10 pm. I don't mind idiocracies of scene like this as it didn't disturb sleep. The room was OK. The safe was small & both my friend & I got locked out of our own safes. I've been to about 18 countries, he has been to double that. We understand the variety of room safes a traveler is bound to encounter. Things were not looking good at All Seasons. The hotel is located down a back street that is one way. I don't understand why this place is favored except for their girl friendly policy. You really have to walk a long way to get anywhere, grab Uber, or be at the mercy of seemly rather shady taxi & mototaxi services.

We decided to hit the clubs despite an early private tour the next morning. Our taxi driver from the airport told us M Bar Go had closed or was bankrupt. We asked to go to Sky Garden & figured we would sort it out from there. Our motorcycle taxis took us all of 200 meters & stopped at two vans full of girls. The pimp came out & the motorcycle taxis asked us if we like the girls. Given we had plans early am, we each grabbed a girl & took her back to the hotel. Probably the sleaziest transaction ever but it turned out OK for both of us as we compared notes next day. The pimp wanted 700 k, I laughed and said I can go to Sanur for 200 k. The motorcycle taxi was the translator between me & the pimp. I offered 500 k. We settled on 600 k which given the circumstances worked out well because we had about 6 hours before our driver picked us up to take us across the island.

The girls were OK. Decent enough performers. Certainly not the 1-2 million quotes I've heard mentioned. It was pop & go as was expected & wanted. No real complaints but nothing memorable either.

In the previous country before landing in Bali, I installed an Android app called FakeGPS Free. This allows you to set your GPS location which then allows you to look "local" to other Tinder users in Bali without paying the $20/ month Tinder fee to add locations out of your "current" region. I had been working a few girls briefly with minimal effort for a day or two before arrival. We woke up & had a driver take us to the north side of the island. This was an all day affair. No fun at that night as we were in major travel recoup mode.

After 2 miserable nights at All Seasons Legian, we moved to Taksu Sanur. I had done Google Maps street view & Legian looked a hell of a lot nicer than Sanur. But quite the opposite happened. I'm so glad our virgin Bali trip we split 2 days between Legian & Sanur. Clearly there are nice resorts on the beach north of Legian. But I actually preferred Sanur without question. Despite staying at Taksu, we took Uber up to Oasis Lagoon & Nesa Sanur. We asked the desk to show us the rooms for future reference. We originally were thinking of staying at Nesa Sanur but after comparing the 3 properties in person, Oasis is clearly the most upscale of the 3 (Oasis, Taksu, Nesa). Nesa feels like a budget guest house. It's perfectly fine but pretty bare bones. Nesa showed us their 2 BR suite with a fancy name. I preferred the standard rooms to their suite. Online, Taksu rooms looked very bland. No personality. But in reality the layout was spacious (unlike Oasis Lagoon & Nesa Sanur). If I was going to stay further north of the X houses in the future, I would definitely choose Oasis over Nesa. But Taksu was great. Better than expected. The safe was bigger. The room was clean. The AirCon worked great. The bathroom was clean & supplied with toiletries. The room was bright & fresh. Plus, the staff was great.

Nights 3-4 were spent in Sanur. We hit the 2 X houses near 67 X. I used the Bali Monger Map & Sanur Fishbowl Trail Map (on Google Maps) to check out the area. I wanted fish bowls because I didn't want to roll into a place & have a guy take off on a scooter & bring me some unknown quantity. Both my friend & I hit the X houses that result in a session at 67 X. He went to 18 X, I went to neighboring 66 X. He paid 250 k, I paid 200 k. The rooms were better than I expected. My buddy took the only girl I had interest in at 18 X so I walked 100 meters to 66 X and grabbed a busty girl. Handed the guy 200 K & he pointed with a laser pointer to the room I needed to go to at 67 X to meet the girl. She didn't speak English but the session was decent. For the price, it was quite a good time. Tipped her 100 k for letting me do what I wanted and off I went. My friend reported similar results with his session.

So the time has flown by with the exploration of the island & switching hotels from Legian to Sanur. The last night I invited a Tinder girl for dinner. She came all the way from Seminyak and I figured the odds at about 25% that she would show up. I never mentioned money, boom boom, or anything but dinner. I told her I would like to take her to dinner & would pay for her taxi. Her taxi came to 98,900 on the meter which seems a bit high given our Uber from Legian was half that. I paid the driver 100 K. We went for a nice dinner down near Mecure Resort. That area was very calm & peaceful but full of retired couples. She was so curious about Taksu. She looked at every painting. She stared out the window at the pool like she was looking at Taj Mahal. She was 29 but looked 20. A little spinner who spoke decent English. We had a great time which ended up in a little night action. Some sleep. And some morning action. No rules. Took her to breakfast at the hotel which by the way is good but way overpriced. At least their bacon is real bacon which is more than I can say for 95% of breakfasts in SE Asia. Paid her 100 K for her taxi back and gave her 600 k for her. No problem, no complaints, no hint of an issue. So all in I spent 800 K + breakfast + dinner for about 14 hours with her and 2 sessions. She was a great find but not particularly difficult to find. Bali was just a pit stop on a 6 country venture so the Tinder effort was minimal at best.

So that was my experience. Whether it is representative of what you will find in Bali, who knows? I just know how frustrating it is given the forum's format to sift through a thread a mile long where topics jump from A to Z. Not one minute spent in a nightclub. 4 nights & 3 days in Bali (2 Legian / 2 Sanur) were worth the trip. In general from the limited areas I've experienced, I'd really say go for Sanur. Play the X Houses by day & Tinder by night. And definitely use Uber. It's a lifesaver.

Thanks to previous reports and the Sanur map I set up shop at Sukun Bali Cottages. It is almost directly across the street from On On Bar. On On bar was a good place to drink and chat with other expats while playing some billiards. Some free lancers pop in there but overall it's not a good place to pick-up ladies.

So day one I decide to try out fishbowl 29. I walk down the driveway and turn right and there's a guy standing there and asks if I want a girl. Of course, why else would I be here. It's about 8:00 pm on a Sunday and the fishbowl is full of girls. Somewhere between 20-30. Some decent lookers. A few say Hello, and make some noise to get my attention. I survey the crowd and make my choice. Walk out and start walking towards one of the rooms and the pimp says "you pay now". So I'm like ok because I thought I was getting short time. But we wake up at about 8:30 she grabs my equipment and gives me the cue for round 2. We have another nice session where I finally get off drilling her from behind standing up. She says she needs to shower and get going. This is why I say medium time. Because it wasn't short time and it wasn't long time. I'm completely satisfied and ready to go back to sleep so I say no problem hand her 500 K and a tip and off she goes and I go back to sleep. Here is my report from last night (8-Dec-2015, Tuesday).

I tried to find a girl. I went to Hard Rock Cafe at about 10 pm. Taxi driver said it was the best place to find a girl (paid or free range). Also some other sites said it would be good. At 10 pm it had maybe 5-10 people in total. So I took a (bluebird) taxi to Sky Garden.

All taxi drivers including bluebird (supposed to be cool) do not use a meter. 5 min ride cost me 100 k.

Got to Skygarden: before entering, checked out Poddys, VIP, Bounty -- all dead at 10 pm.

Stayed at Skygarden until 11:30 pm, found only one old freelancer.

The rest were the usual (apparently) Australian youth getting drunk.

I did not want to hang around wasting time, so took a taxi back to my hotel.

I was desperate, so when driver said girl boom-boom, I said OK but I need to see the girls first.

It took him 30 min driving around calling people before we arrived and at some Legian location.

Van with 3 girl. Two were fat, one had a cute face. They asked 1.2 m for 1-hour. I said 800 k, since it is only for one hour.

Pimp agreed since I only had 900 k left in my pocket.

The girl was 5-6 out of 10. She said 23 yo (believable). Nice cute body, but a lot of stomach stretch marks (looked like she had a baby recently).

Coming from Australia, I am used to fuglies. So, I turned her in ways to minimize the stomach blubber and finished my business.

So the bottom line: I spend (1-1.5 m IDR, $80-120) and got the same average lay as in Australia (and only slightly cheaper).

Any quick pointers to get a quality fuck in Bali.

I am 50 yo, slim and fit. But I do not want to hang around bars for hours looking for a girl.

Looks like the hotel is making sure nothing happens to their guest. I'm a bit confused though guys: I thought Bali was like the rest of Indonesia where all the hotels, except the Syariah hotels, are girl friendly. I've never been queried about bringing girls back to my room ever and I've stayed in 30+ different hotels in Jakarta, Medan, Bali and a few other places around the country. I've been charged extra in Thailand for a guest but never in Indonesia.

Went to 11 X. Easy to find, located right on the main road. Talk to the papasan and tell him what I want and he says take a seat. It will be about 5 minutes. Sure enough in about 5 minutes a guy arrives with a cute girl on the back of his motor bike. He ask if she is to my liking and I say yes. Got to head into the room and he says "you pay first". So I try the same trick again and pull out 200 K and hand it to him and turn to walk away. He says no, 300 K. I say no it's 200 K. Now I realize we are haggling about approx. $7. 30 US but the principle of the thing takes over and I say 200 K or nothing. He stands firm so I leave. I tell him before I leave that house 29 is only 200 K. He said he doesn't believe me. So off I go.

It's only about 4:00 pm but I stop at house 29 anyway. It's dead but there's about 4 or 5 girls on hand. One gives me a nice smile so I say why not and pick her. Hand the papasan 200 K and off we go. She gives good service for what the situation is and I finally pop and clean up. Hand her 50 K tip, she's satisfied, I'm satisfied. So on my way back passed 11 X I stop and say only 200 K right down the street. He shrugs his shoulders and off I go. So to summarize house 29 is 200 K and 11 X is 300 K. The only advantage to 11 X is they seem to expect business a little earlier than the fishbowls.

So later, long story short, I strike out later with the freelance seen. Not because I couldn't get one but because I didn't really find one I was interested in. I decide why force the situation and have a bad experience so I call it a night and live to screw another day.

Also not really consistent if you write "Both rooms were terrible" and a little later "The room was ok".

My last stay in All Seasons was for just 31 nights (September / October 15), so yes, some people like this place.

The ACs are not the best but when knowing that the room card envelope can be folded and entered in the key card slot (like in nearly all hotels using this system) in the room you always come back into a nice cold room.

The band playing is only on the BBQ night once a week.

And just out of the hotel you can rent scooters to be wherever you want for 50 k a day.

The safes, well they are the usual type repeating your code after locking, so if you don't verify you don't notice if you mistyped your standard code and get locked out. Not hard to get the principle while not too drunk.

- Went to the Royal Palace Spa and Cafe (45 Dewi Sri). That "100 Bar" website said the price was 900 K Rupiah. I had to pay 1. 2 Mil Rupiah. Did the price go up, or did I pay a tourist tax, or did my hotel driver get a commission?

Anyways, I paid. I was there at 2 PM. Line-up was marginal. Maybe 6 girls in the fishbowl, and a few more upstairs putting on their make-up. Chose the chubby (not obese) girl with the decent face over the skinny (which I prefer) plain faced girl. Chubby girl had nice tits.

Girl gave a decent Balinese massage. Not as good as the hotel's massage, but decent. BBBJ and CIM.

IMO, Thailand's massage scene is better.

- Transport Tip: I was able to get a car and driver, including petro, for 450 K Rupiah per day at the Calvin KU tour agency at the Bounty Hotel. This was for both the Ubud / Volcano tour and a day tour for shopping / touring in Legian / Kuta / Uluwantu Temple.

Introduction to Mongering in Sanur

Sanur has numerous fishbowls and short time hotels, separated into two geographical areas. The main 'Red Light district' is in south Sanur, Semawang, south / east of the Bypass. The second, smaller, 'Red Light district' is on the opposite side of the Bypass, north / west, of the Bypass. There actually is also small RL area in Padang Galak, just north of Sanur.

X houses

The name / number of many fishbowls and ST hotels include the letter 'X', but the letter 'X' does by no means indicate that a house has some sexual activity, see Dazednconfused's excellent post #2680 (June 2011) in the Bali section. So be careful when approaching a not listed X numbered house!

Fishbowls

Fishbowls are brothels that have a lineup of girls; usuallly the girls are sitting in a large room and you stand outside looking through a glass screen. (At 11 B on Jl Sekar Waru and Diyan Ayu on Jl Bet Ngandang 1 they sit outdoors on the terrace and you stand right next to them.) The girls can see you, and mostly they are completely indifferent to you. Only in Hotel Barokah the girls tend to smile invitingly towards you. The number and quality of girls in any fishbowl seems to shift on daily level (and of course also hourly level): At 8 pm one evening there can be only 3 girls there, at 10 pm another evening it can be 10 15 girls there and vice versa.

Short time hotels/bungalows

ST hotels / bungalows don't have their own girls; in the afternoon they fetch girls from their sleeping quarters, and in the evening they fetch girls from the fishbowls. You need to tell the papasan what kind of girl you like (age, body type etc.), and he will go away on a motor bike and bring one or two girls within 5 10 minutes. If you don't like any of the girls he brought just refine your specs and tell hime to try again. Or just walk away.

Modus operandi in Sanur fishbowls and ST hotels

Fishbowls

You pick a girl of your liking from the line-up, walk with the girl and papasan to the room, pay the papasan, enter and lock the room, get acquintainced with the girl, "shower" together (the girl will wash your dick) and do the deed. Once you have cum the session is over, regardless of how long time has passed.

Short time hotel

You tell the papasan what kind of girl you like (age, body type) and wait for him to fetch. If you don't like the girl he brings, give your specs again, and wait for the next delivery. When happy: pay the papasan, enter and lock the room, get acquintainced with the girl, "shower" together and do the deed. Once you have cum the session is over, regardless of how long time has passed.

Payment and tip

As of October 2012 the price is 200 000 IDR if you go there on your own. If you had a taxi driving you there it might be 300 000 to 400 000 because the driver will take his commission. Don't ask the papasan 'How much'; just hand over the 200 k from your pocket (have the exact amount ready in one pocket).

Only tip the girl if she made you happy, maximum 50 000. You might be able to talk her into a second round if you wave a 100 k bill in front of her as tempting tip.

Opening hours

Fishbowls open after 7 pm (89 at 7. 30 pm, Barokah at 8 pm). ST hotels can get girls after 2 pm (the girls sleep until then).

Girls are usually available till 2 3 am (both fishbowls and ST hotels).

Where to find specific girls

Girls are not like birds where different bird species occupy different habitats. In any given fishbowl you can find any age and type. Slightly chubby seems to be in majority. So the question 'Where can I find. . . ?' is not relevant.

Flea Pits

'Flea Pits' are extremely rough or simple brothels popular among the local male population. In ISG the expression 'flea pit' has been coined for obvious reasons. See 1Balls point of view on flea pits in Bali post #1463, July 2009.

Pop price should be 100 000 150 000 IDR.

There are two Flea Pits near Nusa Dua (only one is on the map), two in the north / west 'Red Light district' in Sanur and two just north of Sanur; in Padang Galak.

After a long time away, I'm going to be in Bali for a few weeks and will be looking for a travel companion.

My research has left me totally shell shocked with the prices now being paid in Indo for a bit of fun. "When I was a boy". Rp. 250 k for a hardened pro was being generous and a weekend could be easly found with a cold A/C, decent food and Rp. 150 k. Now I see guys are paying 2 jt in CJs and even 1 jt on Blok M. Crazy.

This could be for a couple of weeks. Both of the two spas next to the portal that marks the start of Prof Dr Ida Bagus Mantra Bypass north (sic!) of Sanur have changed name (and probably management): Marina Spa is now Moon Sky Spa and Maharani Spa is now The Aquila Spa. I have not checked out what treatments are offered.

Shinee Spa on Jl Tukad Badung XVI (where I had a failed visit some half-a-year ago) has got a new name and management: the new name is Nu Shine Spa. The menue (sorry for the bad focus on picture) has five items from 250 K to 800 k. , the last one whith HJ & BJ.

The menu lists some styles like Dogy and Snake (69), but I doubt that is what is usually meant by 'doggy' and '69'.

There are about 8 girls in a photo binder, no one particularly attractive.

I decided I'd take one for the team, and I chose Korean style and Bitty, 22 yo from Karangsem. Her massage was quite good, but she started to ask for tips for anything extra, like 200 k for removing her top. As she wasn't attractive it was easy to decline.

Just got back from 2 weeks in paradise. Lots of changes in Sanur, but some things stay the same. Business slow due to terrorist threats, papasan at 11 x says very quiet, but found nice one for me. There is a bar on jl Cemara that appears almost closed but offers Massage, girls not bad. Juli from Tantagan salon (always good for a day time romp) appears to be running show with Meri. Mamasan has moved around corner to jl Cemara. You will see the sign, nice petite girl there called Ella likes DATY worthy of a visit. Body arum spa has some new girls, nice ones. On on still has sexy dancers on Wednesday night. Goanna bar is sliding into an abis, just too many bars in one area. New legit spa up the road next to 10 x is very good for a massage or pedi / Mani cure. (don't call me gay, girls like nice clean hands when you are poking around in the dark.). Snack bar has moved across the road and D & D. Bar moved in, I missed something because on Google its called bootleggers. Sukun cottages has been sold to a major hotel chain which will build a 200 room resort. This will help the local economy. And and bar still same. A lot of single western women at beaches, mmm makes one think freebie action might be good there.

I finally gave in and have decided to document my mongering adventures online.

This report is a result of my working holiday in Bali at some point last year (keeping specific details anonymous for obvious reasons).

Accommodation: I stayed in 3 different hotels in Sanur.

1. A 'boutique residence' hotel with handful of rooms and private pool for rooms on ground floor. I opted for the first floor room as the pool did not offer much privacy. Very discreet and GF.

2. The usual big name hotel in south of Sanur. Obviously a resort style place. GF but, the sheer number of people sometimes resulted in walk of shame.

3. Beach bungalow right on the coast with traditional Balinese style decor. Very private, but security was tight and sometimes required a quick walk or hand gesture to the guard to let the ladies in. GF and semi-discreet.

Now to the exciting stuff.

Mongering activities I used IC, T'der and Wechat.

1. IC. Started pipe-lining about 2-3 weeks in advance. Very easy to make contact, but most girls were outside Bali and probably required some mode of finance to visit. English skills were next to non-existent and Skyping was frustrating. Helped me weed out the time-wasters. It appears most of them are there to improve English and just chat. Eventually narrowed it down to 5 and made contact with 2.

One was based outside Bali, but good command of English resulted in me inviting her to spend some time visiting me. She made her way to my hotel and settled. Within 3 minutes I was in her mouth. Initiated by her. Obviously I paid for the travel and she stayed with me for few days and did everything I wanted. A true goddess who was wet within 5 seconds of entering. She's set the bar for me, at least in the freebies category. We also visited several tourist sites around the island. She genuinely looked after me. Never asked for a single penny, but when leaving I did give her a parting gift. I still keep in touch with her and plan to visit her some day.

The second lady never materialized. Apparently she works in real estate in Bali and started flaking. Her loss.

Overall, IC requires substantial time investment. A lot of time wasters out there.

2. Tinder. Now this is where one can get quick action. Made contact (or matched) with several ladies and after the initial Hi / Hello, the conversation moves to having fun. Most of them are based Kuta and thus wanted 1-1. 4 Million IDR for 2-3 hours. Eventually I gave in. Had about 3 to 4 outcall to my bungalow resort. One was a part time freelance from Sulawesi -a little thick but at 20, I was not complaining. She was fun, and became instantly wet within 20 seconds of fingering her. Really, these Indonesian girls are amazing. She agreed to everything and a fun time was had. Still have her contact.

The other girl that stands out, classes herself as a part time model but I am certain she's a pro. Works in SkyGarden and during the day and late at night, fuck and sucks dick. Very good looking and good converse. Said, she does not fuck more than 2-3 times a week. I guess she forgot the 0. Regardless, she was very compliant as well.

The other 2 were not remarkable, mechanical albeit a little cheaper.

Be very careful with Tinder, a lot of Ladyboys around.

3. X house.

During my stay at the boutique residence, I asked the night receptionist to help me find a girl. We jumped on his scooter and went to about 3-5 different houses. This was my first experience for this sort of arrangement and felt very self conscious. But after a while horniness took over. All was well. Did not particularly like what I saw, the ladies were very rough and aged and I also wanted a take out. Cannot imagine the hygiene in those places. After not finding what I liked, the receptionist asked the papasan to show some thing good and that's when he took us to a house on the other side of Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai. Overall a very successful few weeks in Sanur. To be honest, X houses are probably great in Sanur, but outcall no so much.

Apart form the X houses, all girls suggested covered sex, but within few strokes it was BB as they got so wet, they did not care. Obviously, I did not partake in this through out the session. Prefer safe sex.

Yes, he has plans to rebuild the villas and extend the complex, but no decision and planned building phases yet.

From third partis I have heard that Goanna Bar and Tantangan salon will close around October this year as land owner (Sukun) has not extended their leases. That might explain two things: Firstly, Sukun might extend their (new) buildings into that area. Secondly, this is the reason why Tantangan has opened a second shop in Jl Cemara for continuity.

It is basically free but they keep trying to get you to pay for extras. Not too expensive. About Rp250,000 for 6 months and possibly worth it. Of course, most users are not paying. It has useful facts if the person is fairly honest, like height and weight, smoker, got kids etc so you can eliminate unwanted possibilities. Recently they have stopped showing who "likes" you unless you pay!

Indonesian Cupid is also popular but as a punter you probably need to pay to get the best information. I think there are more "serious" girls on there.

Tagged is less popular I think.

I concur on the recommendations for social media, I have been successful on a number of the recommended platforms. My preference is for order. In, and I don't use fishbowls, just not comfortable and despite some amazing looking girls the services have not been great.

Couple of other options to build your contact book.

Cekirge, you have plenty of time to read back through the pages of this excellent forum and you will then be well prepared for your trip and sure to have a pretty good time. I am guessing it is your first trip to this area so I suggest staying in the Southern end of Sanur which is closer to the action. There are about 5 or 6 "fishbowl" places where you can walk in and pick a girl. I would stick with this method for your first visit. The rooms are a little grotty for sure but hey, that's Asia!! If you offer a little extra they might bring the girl back to your place or call a cab for you both to go back. But. As a new visitor I would suggest just using the rooms right there or you will pay far too much. Everybody in Bali is looking for money and you will be an easy target!! No offence intended! The last time I visited Angel in February 2015, I paid 300 k plus 100 k tip. So is 400 k-500 k the current price?Don't know. Had better luck with security sending us deliveries for 700 k for 2 hours / 2 pops. Usually they sent over what we asked for--young and slim and generally very do-able. Only once did they have to bring seconds. Girls were 6-8 and performed well in general although as usual you can't predict what you're going to get by their look or demeanor. I've attached a 7-10 April trip to Bali onto the front of my weeklong visit to Patts; I booked my first night in Sanur in a place near Jl. Sekar Waru, and my remaining two nights in a suite at Harper Kuta Hotel. I've noticed that it's mostly bars and clubs with FLs in Kuta, whereas the scene is more oriented towards MPs and Fishbowls in Sanur. Why would an actress sleep with a total stranger for USD 1500 when she would be spending much more than that for a night of partying in a 5 star joint. Yes. She might sleep for free with someone who could get her a film. Or if she has a relationship like Luna had with Ariel or Cut Tari had with Ariel.

Just RTFF and you will find some good leads as to where to find top quality girls In Bali. There are also websites such as bali escorts etc where you will find top quality girls masquerading as models and charging you a bomb for a shag, while they are actually shagging away through a pimp or through a bar for about USD 30 to 70 a night.

I know that 18/67 X / 23 and 29 were targeted.

The last few weeks I've been in Bali and have been very disappointed with the freelancer scene here. Went to Mint for a couple of hours last night and there were only half a dozen fairly ordinary freelancers there. Sitting there I couldn't help but think that nightclubs in general are a pretty poor place to meet ladies of the night due mostly to the lack of light to see what they actually look like. At first a couple of them looked ok but upon more lengthy inspection they were not attractive, that didn't stop guys chatting them up.

Anybody that is coming to Bali looking for freelancers should set up social media accounts before you get here. I have Tinder, Tagged, Blendr, Scout, WeChat and Date in Asia accounts and I'll give a rundown on each of them:

Tinder. My search criteria was 20-38 yo and I've easily had 30 matches in the last few weeks, all except maybe 5 were P4 p and quite open about it. Had a threesome with the girl pictured and her friend for 2 mill. It was ok but threesomes with Asian girls are usually not exactly amazing and this one was no different.

Also met a student who claims she needed money for school fees the next day. When I matched with her she immediately offered sex for 350 k. It was ok. Nothing special.

Advice. Try Jenja in Jl Nakula or LaFavela in Seminyak they are where the top end girls are heading too. Sky Garden has good girls on weekends and tonight is Girls Free so many will head there for the free drinks. Mint has really seen its day and not a place I personally would go for good talent.

I have to admit I use Badoo and WeChat and a little facebook and they don't let me down. Also pricerange try not to go over 1. 5, they may start high but they will negotiate down if you stand your ground. If not, there are plenty of good girls around.
