I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR SOME STORIES ABOUT HEDONISM SINCE I WILL BE GOING THERE NEXT YEAR
anyone have any experience or advice on Ocho Rios?
Hey Culebra, are you taking the 7 day Royal Caribbian Cruise?
No, but I'll only be in town for a day...
Hoping to find out what's available in Ocho Rios, so far doesn't look like much...
I am planning a trip to Ocho Rios for August 6th staying at the Marriott Renaissance. Any info available as far as SW, Escorts in the area would be appreciated.
Hey team,
I want to plan a trip to Jamaica. What is the best area for working girls? What is the average price? I have been to Thailand and Mexico and would love too trade some info. Please PM me. Any info helps!
Thank you
CHI-Man,
Check out the photo section of Jamaica on the site and there are some links to sites that will provide you with the necessary info. Also, go to any niteclub in the tourist areas and there will be some action, especially as it gets late.
I'd warn that I haven't actually been to Jamaica yet, but I'm going in August. I found a really cheap ticket, and based on research it looks like a reasonable gamble. I thought I'd share what I found out so far about general impressions and reasons for going. After my trip I'll report specifics.
MoBay and Negril are the places to go for a good time, WSG-style. Kingston is a bit dangerous with no obvious advantage, and the rest of the country is a backwater (Ochos Rios is a dim possible third option). In MoBay you can get an inexpensive hotel near the beach on Gloucester or Kent Avenues (Hip Strip). Avoid the all-inclusive resorts, they seem to be geared towards high-end tourists and families, not WSGers. Same for Negril. I read that the majority tourist experience is to stay safely tucked away in walled-in protective enclaves removed from the citizenry and the action. How boring. I want to mingle with the people.
Reasons potentially not to go: a) Prostitution is illegal hence unregulated (as opposed to Dominican Republic where you can find health-checked girls, but admit I haven't been there either). b) Infamy about hustlers, touts, surly/rude service. Like I said, I'll know for myself after I go, but this point is emphasized by all the guidebooks; the grim social history of Jamaica might explain it. and c) About 2/3 of reports in WSG and related sites are negative.
Reasons I am going: a) Very cheap ticket was found, b) English spoken, c) Girls of rather pure African descent (if you like them), d) Can probably relax/enjoy a few days on the beach even if I did't find a girl (my opinion, no need to flame). e) I knew a few Jamaican girls 10+ years ago. They were so hot (related to point #c).
After being blown off course by hurricanes last year, I finally made it to this tropical paradise in early Dec 05. One hint: avoid hurricane season.
Jamaica is not really a sex vacation destination, it mostly has tourist couples or families who stay at resorts. I did see quite a few single white women getting their groove back with Jamaican men (gigolos), something I've seen very little in other countries. Apparently, Jamaican men have a certain reputation (Big Bamboo, Jamaican Steel and all that). But they only cater to women (not that I cared), as Jamaica is very homophobic.
As for Jamaican women, let's be blunt about it, Jamaica is a great place if you like black Jamaican women. If you don't like them, or if you want a variety, then you should go elsewhere.
Crime is not a problem because tourists are highly valued and well protected. However, the Jamaicans will hustle you with great skill, trying to get you to buy anything. Just a small example: I was in a bar (Roots Bamboo) swaying to the music and having a great time when a Jamaican guy comes up to me and speaks in a friendly way. He puts a multi-color string on my wrist and explains the colors, then compliments me on my comprehension, etc. Then he asks me to buy him a beer. I said "sure" and head to the bar, but he says "No, you can just give me the money for the beer." I should have known better, but I gave him J200 (about 3 USD) which was more than enough for a beer, and he says "No, a beer costs J500." At this point I realized that the cost of that string was J200, and I promptly left my "friend".
In spite of scam artists and persistent touts, Jamaica is a wonderful place to visit. Fantastic beaches, great natural beauty, delicious food, gorgeous women (in my opinion). But Jamaica might be more of a drug destination than a sex destination (however, beware that drugs are illegal). I was offered drugs far more often than women (FWIW, I don't do drugs).
As for other countries, a good travel book is the one by Lonely Planet. It does not hide the seamy side, though it certainly does not promote it either. Prostitution, strip bars, and other "bad" things are explained matter-of-factly, while other travel guides tend to ignore them.
Considering a Jamaican New Year (never been there). I'm a vet monger but, I want some opinions. I've read the reports (aside from the flame wars), but it seems this is not really the spot since theres only 3 reports for the last year! Overall is MoBay better than Negril? I've contacted a few local ladies, but I don't want to meet up with some chick who will hold out in the hope of me being (the one) and she should hold out for respect. Good clubs for New Year or should I just try my rudimentary Spanish out in the DR..( rookie there too). I'm Black American if this helps me there. Any additional info is helpful..

MrC[/QUOTE]Jamaica is one of my favorite places, but it is not a major mongering destination. Prices are not cheap and the selection is not always the best.
Being a black American won't matter. To a Jamaican, you are just an American and therefore unimaginably wealthy and they will try to talk you out of your bux just like they do to all Americans. But not to worry, the street hustlers are also the ones that keep the streets safe for us. (crime scares away ALL customers of ANY business.
Mobay probably has the best scene for SWs. About 9PM along the hip-strip (Glouster Ave) there is an average of 10-15 SWs usually patroling between Drs Cave Beach and Margeritaville. The are usually loud, pushy and aggressive. Often biggie sized and can be assumed to have several STDs. Be sure to wrap the rascal.
You may want to consider Negril. The P4P scene is a little mellower, but still there. However, the first 3 weeks of January are "lifestyle" weeks at Hedo. The entire resort is booked by hardcore swingers. It is nearly impossible to get a room there during that time and it will be pricey if you can get one. Instead, stay next door at Point Village. A one bedroom condo there will cost you around $100-125 a nite. You can get an evening pass to Hedo for $80 that includes dinner and top shelf booze. (might be a thought for New Years Eve) You also might be able to slip over to Hedo via the beach. I have done that a few times. A franklin to each of the security guards at either side of the property line should get you free passage for your entire stay. The line is right at the nude hot tub where all the action is. There is also a swim up bar and grill right there (don't try to pay as it is an all inclusive resort)
If you cannot get some serious wild action at Hedo during those weeks then it's time to hang up your equipment.
Go easy on the weed for the first day or two until you know how you will react to it, it is POWERFUL stuff and takes getting used to, especially if you get the really good stuff. Talk to any of the beach guys in Negril. On the hip-strip ask for Mr. Cool. He hangs beneath the spiral stairs at the condo across from the beach club and has the good herb.
Pogo
Mo Bay is not better but there are probabaly a greater number and variety of women there. And you can find some real models there.
Most of the women can get really hot but it seems that what is called the west end of Negril, the women there seem to get hot beyond belief. They really fire up.
It's fantastic in Jamaica if you know how to do it and get around. i went to the DR once and I never plan to go back. It has an old tired feeling to me there compared to the excitement and energy of Jamaica. You just have to know how to get what you want but once you do, the pool of women is virtually limitless.
I was in jamaica (negril) about a month ago and now my doctors tell me I might have picked up some kind of a bug/virus there. This is my fourth time to negril and I have always eaten in little places much to my satisfaction.I think all inclusive deals are lame and they dont help the local com***ity.I stick to the same places I've always eaten...bottom line I've had all kinds of blood tests done etc. and everything comes up fine but my head has been spinning for over two weeks with mild cramps and nausea. It feels like I'm stoned without being stoned.Has anyone had this from jamaica? Maybe it's the food water....the only other thing I could think of is swimming in stagnant water on 7mile beach for some reason it did seem a little dirty to me and I noticed alot of oil from jet skis etc.Thank you for any help.
Did you got checked about the dengue fiever? This fiever exist in Jamaica. And it's look your your symtoms
