Hey all does anyone have any recommendations on 3 or 4 star hotels in Roma Nt that are guest friendly? I'm looking to stay in a nice area where it'll be easier to walk around and such during a short 3 night stay.
Just booked Friday night red eye flight landing Saturday morning. Have not yet booked return flight, going to fly back either the Tuesday or Wednesday after Labor Day. Going to split time between Hotel Escandon and Barcelo Mexico Reforma.
Planning on checking out some pool / billiards halls during the day, going to the local salsa dancing events at night.

Been using the Didi app to get around, and been paying the driver in cash. Great value. Ride from the airport to the hotel in Zona Rosa was 110 pesos + tip.
Hotel.
Eurostars zona rosa suites. Good, clean room and common areas. Was able to check in around 8 am, without an early check in fee. No problem bringing guests up to your room. Had an outcall from twitter yesterday- I thought she would notify me upon arrival to come outside to walk her in. She got to the front desk, and the receptionist called me to see if I was expecting company, and then they sent her up. One downside of this hotel: it is in a loud party zone- Zona Rosa / gay district, and the music doesn't stop till late late. The area overall is safe and good, very walkable many restaurants, Oxxo's, 7-11's, corner Marts. Area is not that English friendly, but I can get by with my basic Spanish level- A2 survival, but not quite conversational.
Hotel check out is tomorrow, I may extend it or find one on a quieter street, considering Hotel Escandon.
