I noticed a question about Sextrader.com and thought I'd post this report from my recent trip. As there is little info on Cape Town in the archives, I thought I’d add some basic 411 on hobbying in the country.

First, sadly, I was in Cape Town the week following the Rugby game against New Zealand (part of the annual TriNations Cup). Since that club closed, most clubs across the Country are smaller venues with a handful of girls; these businesses operate either out of suburban houses converted into many studio suites or in central business districts where a floor of a commercial building will be reconfigured into anything from an AMP to a stripped down motel 6. I’ve spent a fair amount of time in many places and you just have to be prepared visit a couple places or take pot luck; you can have a night of too much choice or double paper sack. For my trip to Cape Town, I had been planning on visiting a place called Penthouse Dolls. I started with The Castle (on Castle) and they had only 9 girls working-mostly Asians. When I asked about their strip show (as advertised in the local daily paper), I was told it was only on weekends. They did have a pool table, large screen tv and a bar to while away the time while waiting for the right girl or if you were waiting for a friend to finish up. Another club a block away, Majestique, had a very ugly selection.

At this point it was about 6:30 and I called Elegance. They told me that they had 9 white ladies about to go off shift, to call back between 10 and 7 (doh!) or after 7 for the next shift. It’s your basic lapdance club; 50R entrance (~$8), grinding in private booths ($20 bucks for 2 dances) or table dances on the main floor (a little less than $15 for 2 dances). I spent a few bucks with Nina a dark hair beauty from Sophia Bulgaria, and prior to that I visited with Sandra, a bottle blond from one of the former Soviet Republics. Both had natural breasts, exceptionally toned and tanned torsos but sadly no one let you use your hands- although sucking their breasts seemed ok – go figure?? After lunch I called Elegance. Their newspaper ad heralded FREE TOPLESS INTRO, and listed the 6 or 7 girls by name in attendance that day. It’s located in the heart of the restaurant/gallery district - between Long and Loos Street. Again, there are no signs and you need to get complete directions and door number when you call (021 426 1392). I think it was 47 Long St, second floor (for you Americans, that's actually the 3rd floor). Over the phone I was told that it was $50 bucks for a “pelvic” massage, but you could negotiate extras with any lady. A very beautiful large breasted woman in a thin t-shirt answered the door. She said she was the receptionist and recognized my accent from the phone. I told her breasts that I was disappointed when I called the previous evening and she explained that the day business was a different company than the evening. She asked me which lady I wanted and I asked if she was available. Her yes was the first thing that had gone right in 2 days.

She explained the system of extras which she said was pretty standard for all the ladies. If you have a calculator, and a math degree you’ll understand. $5 extra for body surfing, $10 extra for French, $5 extra for playing with her or if you want to combine any two there is another price and if you just want to throw your cares to the wind, you can do the FULL MEAL DEAL for $105, which also includes a massage! I grabbed a shower and when I got back to the room she was ready. She told me she was Cape Malay mixed with Mediterranean. If you’ve ever seen pictures of a young Lena Horne, you’d have her skin tone, and figure down although Stacy had much larger (natural) breasts. I took the full meal deal, which culminated in Stacy doing a kind of Russian squatting dance while bouncing on my pole. OhMyGod. And the complementary massage was nice too.

I didn’t get to any clubs in Joburg this trip but satisfied myself with some civilians. Sorry no extended trip report for that city, but if anyone ever has questions, I can point you to clubs, general rules and where to research.

there are a few otherwebsites, but this is the most complete. It has a subsection on clubs which shows a new trend of FBSM popping up, mostly in Joburg. These FBSM clubs are in every part of the town, and should be nearby any place you are staying. They are pretty specific about no full house (i.e. Full House = full sex).

PRINT FOR JOBURG: most clubs advertise in the daily newspapers, you may need to check more than one local paper as I found in Cape Town. In the last 2/3? years I've found Papillion to be the best of the little independent "houses". Most houses that I've been to are pretty much the same set up. You pay a small fee to enter which gives you some access to a bar, often a potluck kind of dinner and usually a lounge area where you can mingle or hang out with a buddy until you find a lady you like. Usually on weekends a professional stripper comes in for a 15 or 20 minute performance. Since strippers travel around performing at several clubs, show times "vary". As in all cases, you should either call in advance and ask how many girls are there and nationalities, and don't be afraid to ask to "look around" before paying your money. They'll cut you more slack as your not from the area.

BY ALL MEANS DO NOT get suckered into to a club called Summit in Hillbrow. Unless you go with a local you'll feel pretty nervous about the area/club/selection. It used to be the place years ago, but is now v. bad and the neighborhood can be pretty dicey. The place is a bar, above it are lousy hotel rooms.

On a visit recently a local friend brought me to a new club/bar: Malasha. it is situated in Jan Smuts #268 and is very close to the Porsche garage.

We paid 50 ZAR or so entrance. There are maybe 5-10 topless girls serving drinks and cuddeling on the couth with you if you pay them a drink. When I was there it was like 4 am so they let touch and massage their breast etc.

Then the girls asked if we want private show. We were so drunk that we said yes and went to a back room (there where the girls change) and they did a lesbian show. The whole thing lasted only three songs, but touching allowed during show.

Buzz you are right, I to have experienced what you are talking about, but it is only on new years eve when the furniture starts flying from the windows.

Personally I have been to the Summit Club many times and have always enjoyed it. Its the most cosmopolitan brothel i've been to. Girls from various eastern European countries, Thai chicks, white and black girls from S Africa as well as many other African countries.

However I would not deny that Hillbrow is dodgy. But with common sense it is definately do-able. Antoine, Joburg has a big crack problem and all the street hookers are addicts. There are plenty of them all around Hillbrow, but unless you know Joburg very well, dont even think about it. You will probably be mugged within 5 minutes of arriving anywhere in downtown Joburg, Hillbrow, Joubert Park etc at night.
