I got very sick from Covid in July when I was in Bogota. Lots of hacking sneezing and coughing on the plane on my way to Bogota, Unfortunately I took Spirit for that flight because of the flight schedule. The plane came in late and as soon as the arriving passengers got off they boarded us. I'm sure they never cleaned the plane because it would be impossible to clean it in 2 or 3 minutes. I was sick in the room for 3 days, thanks God I felt a lot better by the time my trip was over, I did have a test with me so I tested positive 2 days after I arrived and negative the day before my return flight.
The new Covid increase is all over the net now. I hope they don't resort to all the old Pandemic protocols. Requiring negative tests, some of which costs hundreds in the States and more than 100,000 in Bogota at a clinic. I'll wear a mask on my flight in two weeks and have my hand sanitizer for sure this trip.

The Bright Side-- Many many people are now doubting everything the ScumBag media says-- We Need More of that because they spout be-S Everyday.
One positive. Tequendama Suites is nice. Under $100/ night for the master suite is a good deal. The room is huge. Good security. Location is good for Santa Fe. And some food options around. Pretty busy area.
Santa Fe: I was prepared for the trash and the rough look. As opposed to other areas like Centro in Medellin and zona norte in Tijuana, Santa Fe feels bigger. The thing that sticks out to me was that if you're a gringo, you might be the only one. LOL It just feels like you can be targeted very easily. I had no problems whatsoever. I arrived about 8 PM. There were not too many girls on the streets at that time. The ones that were still there came in all shapes and sizes. I will say there were two or three that were quite attractive.
SF Bars. This was my big letdown. Spent my time in Fiebre and Troya. Both were very similiar. Ordered a beer at Troya and it was chilled, not cold. Walked a bit. I counted about 20 girls. More guys than girls, but the quality was a letdown. The music there is too loud. That makes me sound old. LOL. But it was difficult to have a conversation. As opposed to other bars, Troya and Fiebre were not high pressure places. The meseros aren't hounding you. Neither are the girls. But I just couldn't find anything interesting. I bought one chica a drink at Troya. The best looking one there. She was nice. I couldn't hear her name. We sat and chatted. She's from Venezuela. That's a virtual non-starter for me. I have taken a few Vennies but most underwhelm me. Add to that the increased danger level and just not worth it. As for the selection at Fiebre, there were fewer girls. On average, probably less attractive. But I will say there were a few that were GND kind of good looking.
I also got the run around on a few spas yesterday. Truth be told after flying in yesterday, I started too late. Hopefully today is better. But so fsr, I've seen nothing in Bogota that will bring me back.
I might try some of the bars to the north today. I'm not exactly sure where to find them. But after striking out all over yesterday, maybe I won't mind the higher prices.

If you look at other ads for girls for 140 k COP, you'll notice some with also have the address listed in that ad which is Carrera 20#42 a-55. I have never been but from what I've read on other forums, this place just advertises the hottest girls they have and when you arrive, she advertised girl is busy, so they offer you a different girl.
So in short, not a scam, but you might not get the girl in the ad.
