The Dem v Republican numbers often miss the point. You have to add in the 3rd party candidates. In the Dems only polling data, Trump wins 338 electoral votes. In the Dems polling data, all the supposed swing states went to Trump, and they showed that the real swing states are the four that I mentioned and that New Mexico and even Colorado are in play.

And in this poll for the first time Biden was actually polling behind Kamala, and the Dems own polling shows what a debacle the debate showing really was. It was this data, the Dems own polling data, that drove Biden out of the race.

The Dems will be conducting their own polling and right now, there is no one beating Trump. I have listened to serious pundits say the reason the Obamas have not endorsed Kamala is they have a celebrity candidate in mind and the name thrown out there, and this is a hoot, is none other than the actor the Rock.

And I keep telling you the casino odds are a better measure of telling the odds than any polls. Kamala has about an 80% chance of winning the Democratic nomination and about a 27% chance of winning the election in the latest casino odds, and all you dumb Dems in your predicting Biden would win are all wet right now.

And I keep coming back to the money thing. Kamala getting access to the money Biden raised is no slam dunk. Republicans will sue to keep that money from being released, and there is sound legal logic in putting a hold on that money. If that case is filed in Judge Reed O'Connor's district in Texas, that hold is damned near guaranteed. That the Dems will eventually have access to that money is very likely but it probably will be too late for this election.

So Kamala raising all this money is not because of enthusiasm. It is because the big money Dems are giving out of desperation. Kamala had no money to work with and whatever enthusiasm she brings, it is in comparison to Biden. At least the Dems have a candidate now who can walk and talk. That nobody voted for her now is almost beside the point, but just wait a few months.
