Thursday.

Went to Pussy House and arrived 10 pm, it was pretty dead. Paid 30 k for a Corona that I nursed for almost an hour. Saw one girl with a big ass that I liked but she was busy entertaining five guys sitting by the stripper scene. I had to buy a jacket because of the cold. No skimpy dressed girls walking around here. Taxied to Santa Fe. Have never been too far south of Calle 22. Wow. Compared to the areas around the strip bars, South of Calle 22 is the Wild, Wild West. Perhaps a lower quality girl and certainly groups of Trans girls, but quite the spectacle. On two occasions I saw two different girls standing with their breasts fully exposed on the street corner. That's how fierce the competition is, I guess. Welcome to Bogota!

Welcome to the land of putas, arepas, and thin air! The nicer parts of the city, like La Candelaria and Zona Rosa were quite clean. But, I found some other areas were a bit trashy and riddled with graffiti. Having said that, I felt safe wherever I went. Because of the altitude, it was pleasant during the day, but it got chilly in the evenings. Because I am old and already walk slow, I did not have any issues with the altitude.

According to Wikipedia, "The city is located in the center of Colombia, on a high plateau known as the Bogota savanna, part of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes. Bogota is the third-highest capital in South America after Quito and La Paz at an average of 2,640 meters (8,660 ft) above sea level. Subdivided into 20 localities, Bogota has an area of 1,587 square kilometers (613 square miles) and a cool climate that is constant through the year. "

Why Bogota?

I have been to 5 other cities in Colombia, but for whatsoever reason, I have not spent any time in Bogota. Thus, off I went!

Travel Insurance:

The SquareMouth web-site gave me over 50 quotes from over 50 different companies. I chose Trawick from National Mutual. It was for 5-days and cost $127.

Money:

All the money I quote is in COP, Colombian pesos. According to Oanda, the current rate is 4,013 COP to one US dollar. I just divided the currency by 4 and it worked out for me. For example, 100,000 COP was around 25 bucks. I arrived very late in Bogota and I decided to cash in some dollars at the airport at the exchange place next to baggage claim three; rate was 3900. I used ATMs thereafter as needed. Tip from Woodman: You can pull 2,000,000 from the ATMs at Davivienda banks; around 500 US.

Flight:

I flew Aeromexico from Tijuana round-trip to Bogota. Each way, there was a layover in Mexico City. Total flight time was around 7 hours each way. Returning, there was a Sala VIP El Dorado Lounge, which was outstanding.

Immigration / Customs:

Because of my last trip to Colombia, I knew there was a Migration Form I needed to fill out called CheckMig. This is the website: migracioncolombia. Gov. Co. There you need to fill out the immigration registration form 72 hours before your trip OR up to one hour before.

It took me around 10 minutes to fill out the form and submit it. Once I did, within a few minutes, I received the document in my e-mail box. I had the completed form on my phone and I also printed the form out.

When I was going through immigration in Bogota, I was asked to show the completed form to the agent. I gave him the printed form and it was never returned to me. He stamped my passport and I was done.

Customs only existed to ask me if I had any bad thingys in my carry-on. No x-ray machine was required; quick process!

When I was returning, I completed the form online. But, the only immigration process there was when I had to place my passport on some machine and the little doors opened to let me move on to security. The CheckMig form was not asked for and nobody stamped my passport.

Hotel:

I stayed at the Tequendama Suites in Centro internacional.

PROS:

- Walking distance to the Zona de Tolerancia.

- Safe location.

- Solid WiFi.

- Large rooms.

- Great staff and service.

- Free breakfast buffet from 6 to 10.

- Chica friendly – They needed to register at the front desk. I brought in a bargirl, street girl, and an escort.

CONS:

- Rooms had NO heating.

- No free bottled water.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

Communication:

I have the T-Mobile Go5 GPlus55 plan; no worries whatsoever.

Transportation:

When I arrived at the airport, I did not see a taxi booth, so I just headed outside. All the taxis quoted the same price; 60. Because it was late, the streets were empty. It should have taken 15-20 minutes to reach my hotel. But, my airport taxi could not find the hotel! Hell, I am sure he could not find water if his dumb ass fell out of a fucking boat! I really need to learn this phrase in Spanish, "You only have one job!

Other forms of transportation:

Uber – Reliable during the day and early evening; iffy late night.

DiDi – Decent luck in the afternoon and evening.

InDrive – Was never able to get the app up and running.

Taxis – The majority of the drivers were clueless. Most of the drivers were older and had no concept regarding google maps.

Returning to the airport, my hotel called one of their van drivers and the cost was 40.

Spanish:

During my stay, I did not hear any English, which included my hotel, restaurants, drivers, and putas.

Restaurants:

I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the food scene:

Santa Fe. Outstanding.

Cantina 15 – Outstanding.

La Scala – Excellent.

Andres DC – Very good.

El Son de LOS Grillos. Outstanding.

Overall, the food was pretty damn good. There was an abundant amount of street food venders scattered throughout the city.

Strip / table dance clubs:

In each club, I asked several questions and wrote down the answers as usual. Thus, if I am wrong; correct me please. I wrote down the lowest ficha price.

None of the clubs I visited had a cover charge!

The first 7 clubs were all in the Zona de Tolerancia. Many of the chicas would start out asking for 150 for 30 minutes, but if they thought I was interested, they would drop the price to 110 or 120.

Spas:

I only went to one spa; Tantra. I went there around 5 on Friday and I saw 6 chicas, good to very good. I wasn't sure if I was even in the right place! The sign above the place said, "Tantras. " I decided to choose a dark skinned chica and she wanted 120 for an hour.

When we decided to go to the room, we left the building, turned right, and went into a different building. We went upstairs and at the top of the stairs was a different spa with a "nurse" theme. Maybe that place was Tantra? Before us, there were 4 other couples waiting for a room. As we waited at the top of the stairs, we waited for 15 minutes, and there were still 4 couples waiting for a room. All the 4 girls were wearing a nurse outfit.

I said, "Fuck this!" and we returned to the first building. I found the manager and asked, "WTF?" She told me her building did not have rooms and for that reason, we had to go to the other building. But, the chicas (nurses) at the other building had priority over their club for the rooms. I did receive a full refund, so the only thing I lost was my time and patience.

So, the big question is: Was I in the right place? Please chime in because I am still confused!

Zona de Tolerancia and Street Girls:

Woodman took me there around 4 on a Wednesday afternoon. After walking around for 15 minutes, I came to the conclusion the Zona de Tolerancia was the biggest monger candy store I have ever seen! There were 100+ street girls available and their prices varied.

Woodman sent me a map of the active streets, which I will share with the board. From what I gathered, the area was from Calle 24 to Calle 19 and between Avenida Caracas and Carrera 17.

Besides the street girls, the area had numerous clubs. Basically, it was like shooting fish in a barrel. It was the shopping mall of putas; I loved the area. I was there every night during my romp.

Escorts:

As I was skimming through the ads on Mileroticos, the prices ranged from 100 to 400 for an hour. They all wanted more money for "oral al natural. " I had only one escort during my romp and the cost was 300 and included, "oral al natural."

Final thoughts on Bogota:

It was a seeking putas and eating good food trip. I thought the city was quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. If I lived there, I would learn other forms of transportation. The city was huge! Would I ever return to Bogota? YES, I felt like I only scratched the surface of the monger scene and restaurants. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!

I'll start by saying I know some love this city. And I'm certainly not trying to sway anyone from avoiding Bogota. I just have to say it's not for me. One problem certainly overshadowed my entire trip. That incident was bad and will certainly prevent me from considering a return. (More on that later).

I won't bore everyone with blow by blow details. So forgive the general nature of my report.

The city: traffic is insane. That said, it seems like just plan on going anywhere took 35 minutes. It can be close by or far away. Every trip seemed to take 35 minutes. I stayed near Santa Fe and frequented alot of casas to the north. In hindsight, I should have stayed up north. I stayed at Tequendama Suites. The room was nice and more than adequate, especially for the price point. The surrounding area was part of my problem. If you choose Tequendama, just know that you are in a busy area. Think about sleeping near Times Square. Horns amd sirens. It's a big city amd except for a few hours overnight, it's hectic. One other issue: uber drivers had a HELL of a time finding me. Most of them came down carrera 13 and missed their turn on carrera 10. Then they'd cancel. There's not really a parking area there, which also caused minor issues.

Girl quality: it's almost stupid to discuss this broadly. But I would say for my tastes, Medlellin has a vastly superior selection. In my opinion, Bogota is filled with good looking girl next door types. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's kind of my sweet spot. I'm not one that goes out and hunts 10's. But I do think the overall quality in looks is a step or two below MDE. As for service, in my experience the GND usually delivers better service. I really have no complaints about the service levels I had with any of my sessions. Compared to MDE, Bogota seems to have more laid back, service-oriented chicas. And price wise, it's not even close. MDE is easily twice as expensive per session. (That's apples to apples; of course there are ranges for each area you shop in). For what it's worth, Bogota seemed to have alot of good food options.

Santa Fe and SF bars: total let down. I arrived on Thursday so it wasn't the days of thr week. Honestly, they were a waste of time. In any of the bars, there were between 5 and 20 girls. If you are a guy who wants to walk in and choose the girl, go upstairs and knock one out, these places are adequate. I typically like to have a drink or two, party a little bit. Well, that just never happened. It had kind of a weird vibe. Maybe slightly depressing? I can't find the right word. But it was not a party feel. And every bar had near ear splitting music. I like the party vibe. I like the music. But when you can't hear the person next to you, it's too loud. I didn't session with a single girl in those bars. I'm sure they are gold mines for some of you. But it wasn't my scene.

Santa Fe is, in a word, interesting. There are definitely some diamonds there. It has a dangerous yet thrilling feel. To say all shapes, sizes and types are available is an understatement. I was surprised that some of the most attractive girls I saw in Bogota were on the streets of SF. That said, a little foreshadowing. Walking the streets of SF you can just feel the target on your back. I'm a gringo. I always travel alone. I've done alot of travel. But here more than anywhere I've been, you can just feel the target on you. Interestingly, I did not have any problems in the heart of Santa Fe. But.

My incident: I'd consider myself a seasoned traveler. I have a fair amount of street smarts. I take reasonable precautions and accept that there is an inherent risk in how we operate. Well, I finally got got. Outside of Tequendama Suites, I got mugged. I mentioned that target on my back. In hindsight, I made a mistake or two. But I also feel like the odds are just stacked. A gringo walking alone there is just a matter of time. I'm a big dude. I remain alert to surroundings. One mistake was that I felt the area I was in, literally in the shadows of Tequendama Suites, was so busy that no one would be that bold. Walking past Itau, essentially across the street from the hotel, a group approached me and pulled a knife. They directed me just off the main street and robbed me. They got a very small amount of cash and my burner phone. They made me unlock the phone and took off. The four guys were all dressed very well, but to be honest, I never saw them until they had the knife on me. But they definitely would not have caught my attention based on their appearance. What struck me was that this busy area with seemingly 100 or more people was all of a sudden empty. There was NO ONE within a block. There was not alot of commotion. I chose not to scream and yell. But after it was over, it sure felt like everyone knew what was going on and they all scattered like rats. Rookie mistake: for convenience, I had a few apps that I should have kept off my burner. So that's the biggest loss. It's a pain in the ass tracking down digital footprints. Obviously, that soured me on Bogota. But, even if that didn't happen, I just didn't like the scene.

Lastly, a couple bright spots I would call out. Vicky's Spa. It is not a cheap option by any stretch. But all of the girls there are spectacular. I would recommend Sara if you like them wild. LOL.

I also hit the jackpot with a couple selections off of Mileroticos. Tequendama Suites has a good security process to the point they won't let the girl leave without you confirming all is well. So I took a chance there and was rewarded for it.

For those that love this city, enjoy it. Just not for me.

You did not mention Texas which away from the club row on KR 16 and Calle 23, Texas has some dirty fun girls when it is good some of those girls work the streets too -- and can have some good pussy during the day too as it has action early.

Similar to Venus and Atonis they have less regulation and you can tip the waiter to leave you alone They even will usually let me bring in my water or other beverage (they know me) -- The sessions can be for less than at Fiebre- Troya-Paisa although there usually is more hot girls in those.

Best time for clubs is evening-- say wed-Sat but can be good on other days.

Street girls are usually really good at rush hour be great and prime times too-- the South stroll dies early-- but there are always usually girls.

Just come back from Bogota and I saw only a 9/10; the rest were 5 or 6 according to my taste; I went to SF, 7 de Agosto, mezzanines, but did not find anything worth spending more than $20; I have many regulars of mine that went to spain where they can make more money.

Girl quality: it's almost stupid to discuss this broadly. But I would say for my tastes, Medlellin has a vastly superior selection. In my opinion, Bogota is filled with good looking girl next door types. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's kind of my sweet spot. I'm not one that goes out and hunts 10's. But I do think the overall quality in looks is a step or two below MDE. As for service, in my experience the GND usually delivers better service. I really have no complaints about the service levels I had with any of my sessions. Compared to MDE, Bogota seems to have more laid back, service-oriented chicas. And price wise, it's not even close. [/QUOTE]Biggest load of crap I've read here in the Bogota section. Comparing Apples to Apples Medellin is actually cheaper. MOST GIRLS in Santa Fe are asking 50 mil pesos now a days same as in Plaza Botero / La Veracruz in Medellin. However you often get 20 mins in the rooms instead of 30 min as is the case in Medellin. Also as noted by our good friend Sr Woodman, some of the Santa Fe girls are asking 60 k - 70 k now. So how is Medellin twice as expensive when comparing apples to apples??

And for the record I have walked up and down Cra 13 Everytime I go to Bogota from my hotel near Calle 22 up to the Davivienda and FarmaTodo pharmacy walking past Tequendama Suites all the time and I have never once been robbed even at 10 pm or 8 am or anytime. Usually there are armed soldiers patrolling the area. By the way across the street from Tequendama is a food cart selling excellent grilled arepas con queso. They're usually there in the morning by the intersection on Cra 13 and Calle 26 where the Yellow railings are.

I love Bogota with all my heart. Sorry you had a bad experience.

Woodman took me there around 4 on a Wednesday afternoon. After walking around for 15 minutes, I came to the conclusion the Zona de Tolerancia was the biggest monger candy store I have ever seen! There were 100+ street girls available and their prices varied.

Final thoughts on Bogota:

It was a seeking putas and eating good food trip. I thought the city was quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. If I lived there, I would learn other forms of transportation. The city was huge! Would I ever return to Bogota? YES, I felt like I only scratched the surface of the monger scene and restaurants. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!

The bar does not have their own rooms so they get rooms from the casa. The chicas working at the Casa do have priority over the rooms compared to the chicas from the bar.

In addition to the newbie focussed trip report, here are a couple of additions-.

The area Chapinero has about 20 casas in a 3 km radius. There are even chains like r0 squilas that have 5 locations. Most barrios nearby have UTR spas and casas. The santa fe tours from woodman are not really needed. The zone is compact and is only a couple of streets. That being said, street crime is rampant and caution must be exercised while walking.

Recent reports include gringo targeted robberies near 93 up north so I cannot recommend a specific barrio as being safe. Your risk appetite should drive your decision in coming to Bogota.

Though I'm not a fan of SWs. Chicas in Santa Fe are cheaper than the chicas in Centro of MDE and infinitely cheaper than a Lleras chica. I don't use FB anymore. I know I'm missing out on a nice stream of chicas but I'm too busy to invest the time it takes for what still has a high flake rate. So I can't really comment on FB prices. But I'd also add bar girls to the comp. In my experience, you would pay close to double for the same quality chica in MDE.

Big picture, and again, just my experience, if you are very price concious, Bogota beats MDE and it's not close. At the same time, I'm going to speak out of both sides of my mouth and say I prefer MDE. I value the quantity and quality. It feels like you have a better selection in MDE. Did the robbery taint my view? Probably. But even more than that robbery, I could not believe that feeling of constantly being a target in BOG. I'm not the flip-flop, jewelry wearing guy that we all know. I know many of us like to be away from gringos. There are certainly benefits but my overall feeling here is that the gringos stick out there and the plotting to get you is non-stop.

I'm really not trying to discourage anyone from going there. But I did not feel that same target on my back to the north of Bog. (Chapinero, etc.).
