Good news, at least for me. Air Asia resumes its flights from KL to Clark from 17th October onwards. 4 flights per week.

For the life of me I cannot find a direct non stop flight from BKK to Clark airport. Its either Manila or fly for 13 hours+ and pay over $1200. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something?[/QUOTE]Fastest ticket is over Hong Kong, 1. 000 dollar, 7 hour. Cheapest is over Singapore with Tiger Air, 200 dollar, but 20 hour. No direct plane to Clark. I think best option is over Manilla, with Cebu Pacific Air, 3 hour direct, 120 dollar. Thats leaves money for a taxi.

Am I missing something?[/QUOTE]Tiger Air was the only one that had direct flights from BKK to Clark but has recently been taken over by Cebu Pacific Air. And unfortunately Cebu Pacific Air has pulled the plug on this route.

No more they stop that route in DEC 2013 I took the flight in NOV last yr it was the last week of that flight from BBK to Clark with only 60 passager, Cebu pacific also cancel that route early this yr so going to Manila is the best option now.

Wasn't cancelled then. I took Tiger CRK BKK on Feb 18. It's definitely cancelled now though. Back to the bus to Manila for me or stop going there period. The main reason for me going to AC was because my cheap flight back to BKK left from there.

Tiger air cancel many flight form SE Asia to Clark flight is much cheaper than Manila, I think Tiger still fly Macau to Clark cost is about 60 USD but from Hong Kong is twice as much.

I just finished a 5 day stint in Angeles.

My first day here I was too tired to do anything, so I just hit a couple bars close by to my hotel, pony tails and lunetime.

My second night here I hooked up with Camille, A nice wide hipped chinita I've been in touch with over facebook who I initially met at a club in Angeles. I kept laughing at this and told her I could get a girl all night for that much. 5 k for one hour, not even since part of it is taken up by the bad massage, was ridiculous. Summary.

The girls are still the same, maybe the quality is slightly lower since I began coming here 3 or 4 years ago or equaly likely, my standards have gone up.

The bar fines are up. I tend not to go to the bigger bars because of the inflated tiered barfines, but now even bars like Valhalla are 2 k barfines and Geckos is 3 k! Valhalla is probably the shittiest little bar on Fields, and Geckos is not much better. I didn't even bother going to the bigger clubs.

I can't help but feel like Angeles City is losing its edge vs Manila. Manila has better night life, more options, and generally better looking women if you know how to get them.
