Hmmm, interesting. I don't see it. The reason I asked your point is that it used to be when someone said 'photoshopped' it meant major alterations. Now all photo viewing software these days has 'photoshop' like features but mostuse it to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. And not major work.
Now this one is not much to look at now – almost freakish (apologies to the poster as I hate to criticize someone else's photos – please don't take it personally) and I can't begin to imagine what improvements have been made. Why do you think it is BS?
It looks to me like someone put a dudes head on the girls bod. That head is way to large for the body.
Either it is photoshopped or the photo of a freak.

Night Club Pickups
About to return to BKK after a 3 year break and would like to relive one of my best experiences from my previous trip which was picking up a stunner in the Novotel Hotel disco near Siam Square. Is this place still going strong or are there better clubs to pickup stunners? I know the Hyatt is an option but its too far as I'm staying in the President Solitaire in Soi 11. I guess the bedsupper club has less girls available and I don't like hanging about in these places too long. Any other options for Hi-end mongering that I'm missing out on? Grateful for your thoughts.

First visit to BKK
after months of useless babbling chit-chat dialog on this forum i thought i
would (hopefully) add some useful new observations from a first timer to bkk.
[all prices are in baht- 30 baht to a dollar when i was there]
1) arriving at the airport for newbie's- don't let it intimidate you- walk
around like you know your way around the place. it is just like any airport
in usa, but somehow they can spot the new arrivals and will pester you for
rides.
so.
2) transportation.
you can get a limo to suhkumvit road for 1200 ($40). relaxed an no hassles.
take a meter cab there for about 400-500 ($12-$15. a steal by us taxi
standards)
or let them give you a set price (around 500 baht)
the common wisdom seems to be to demand they turn on the meter- but i think
that just guarantees they will get into heavy traffic on purpose, to add a
hundred baht or so onto the meter. so. you will still pay the same or
even a little more, but what is $3 bucks, us.vs- an hour sitting in
traffic. if you offer them a set amount it is in their interest to get you
there by the fastest route possible.
so offer them what you want to pay first.
general costs to offer:
about 500 baht from the airport to suhkumvit.
100 baht any place nearby (about 3 bucks)
200 baht for any small further distance.
the few times i took a meter cab it was always around 70 baht. so when i
started getting into the cab and saying i'll give you 100 baht to take me to
xxx i found we got there much, much faster.
they will be happy to take these amounts and get you there by the faster
back roads routes. avoiding incredible bangkok traffic jams.
tuk-tuks (open air small cab) are fun but they do charge double for
americans. still, about 50 to 80 baht to go quickly someplace close. you
can also hop onto the back of a motorcycle for about 30 baht.
if they make the price suggestion first, divide it by 2 and make them an
offer (i. e. they will ask for 1000 from the airport- tell them 500 and they
will usually accept.
try to ask for a cabbie that can speak english.
if you take a taxi from the hotel, make sure they speak english and give
them an address, in writing if possible- do not say "nightclub" or they will
take you to their favorite place (who usually gives them a payoff) do a
little homework and take a printed google map with you.
i got gypped for a ride to ayutthaya (sightseeing) for 1600 baht but i found
later i could have easily gotten there for half. i thought it was farther.
still, an hour in a us taxi would have been about $200us dollars (6000 baht)
-a word about renting a car or driving-
don't.
you won't know how.
they do not drive on the right side of the road, in every sense of that
word.
they zip in and out of traffic at full speed in formations tight enough to
make the air force thunderbirds jet pilots proud. with motorcycles zipping
in between.
just close your eyes and pretend it is not happening.
3) tipping.they are not used to it. a 20 baht note is usually more than
fine for anything.
50 baht if you want to be generous. i tipped 100 baht a few times and i
thought they were going to kneel down to thank me. when you change some
cash at the airport get a lot of 20's and 50's (baht). they will only give
you 100's unless you ask for change.
4) negotiating- they will always start at double- offer half then go from
there if you feel like it.
now for the important stuff.
5) [CodeWord901]'s . go there 700baht plus tip (100 is fine) for no-nonsense walk
in the door get down to business fun.
lilly- was about an 8 on the relative thai looks scale but 10++++ for skills
and the most. perfect. bj. ever. i would pay this girl to give lessons to my
g / f if i could find a way to explain it to her without dying. it's
expected to cum in their mouth but it is still polite to ask. (just to hear
an enthusiastic "yes i want you to!" is worth it)
other cuties are way fun too, but no one matched her skill. i will fly back
there just to find lilly again.
lets not forget than an 8 on the thai scale would be about a 11 on the usa
streetwalker scale.
6) soi cowboy and nana plaza- these are both basically small side streets, packed with go-go bars.
lots of nice places to look at, gorgeous
girls. the ones out front will give you a sample of the tastes inside the
go-go places.
i loved one called "bachana's" (or something similar) i was sitting there
for 10 minutes before i realized everyone was looking up. there is a glass
ceiling with girls dancing on the 2nd floor above you wearing little or no underwear. heart
stopping views !
6) hotels-
manhattan hotel was great location. central location and relatively cheap
but they soak you for internet access. a lot. no free wifi, and it was 500
baht for 3 hours. don't forget to log off- shutting off your computer does
not sign you out.
manhattan hotel (and many others nearby- google it) are so central to the fun zones
that i walked to soi cowboy and nana plaza, easily. if you do want to take
a taxi down sukhumvit make sure to cross the street to the side with traffic
going the direction you want to go. the sky train is way cheaper (an
incredible 6 baht)
other hotels- be careful online they say they have airport pickup and then
don't. www.agoda.com was a great site for booking cheap rates but i made 2
complaints about places that pulled a bait-and-switch.
7) insomnia nightclub club after hours- omg ! not a go-go or strip bar-
but i walked in and was endlessly approached by gorgeous non-pro's, one of
whom was the most stunning girl ever to accompany me to a hotel after 5
minutes of necking on the floor followed by "come to my hotel?" and "ok"
(seriously. that was the sum total of my conversation before i f*cked her)
and this girl was about a 14 on the american girl regular scale (not the
streetwalker scale)
if you are not a gargoyle (lets face it folks they do actually have some
standards) you could get a freebie there any night. buthis was at 2 am when
the bars closed and i was too stupid to grab one girl from the go-go bars-
but ended up even luckier at insomnia.
but don't go there.they are all mine mine mine mine.
pro's and non-pro's are all over the streets after hours too. i was walking
around one evening about 3 am and stopped at a sidewalk stand to get a drink
of bacardi and coke (yes, a sidewalk bar) i bought 4 drinks for everyone
there (one each) for a total of 400 baht and 2 of the girls followed me home
and slept overnight.
8) it is way too easy to fall in love with these gorgeous angels. if all
girls in the world were like thai girls there would be peace and heaven on
earth.
i am already planning a trip back.
9) ladyboys are easier to spot then i was worried about- if you have any
gaydar at all.
it is just so. obvious. they are generally more dressed up like working girls
and way more aggressive too. do not let big boobs fool you- bolt-on surgery
works on guys too. an uninterested stare and polite but firm "no" is all it
takes to get rid of them.
same is true for anyone grabbing your hand or trying to entice you- a simple
stare and gentle wave and "no" is all you need.
guys- try not to give us americans a bad name- too many of you doof's were
walking around looking like you smelled and did not know what a shower was
for. lose some blubber and wear some good clothes- they will never judge
you but i am certain they will appreciate it, and you will have a much better time
fucking for hours and hours without giving yourself a coronary. these girls
shower all the time. (and also fuck you as many times as you want / can)
last- never never lose your temper- any argument i ever saw was followed by
both sides shrugging their shoulders and saying "up to you" (which seems to
be the end of any discussion or disagreement)
anger is considered to be the rudest of low-class rude there, and you will
'lose face' and get no help from anyone after you do. imagine farting
loudly in church while dunking your hand into the collection basket to grab
some loose change while in line for communion. that is how bad they see
anger there.

The real taxi price to Sukhumwit is way less than that. It's impossible to pay as much as 400 in metered taxi unless he circumnavigated Bangkok on the way there. Should be well under 250. I would suggest keeping to your experiences and reducing the "advice" part a little.
I will say you have experienced a lot in a short time.
Baccarat had a couple of girls I knew from before. I was very keen on a girl with big smiles and the most spectacular ass and thighs with nice gap I have seen in a while. Her skirt wan't hiding it all that well. Anyway she seemed a bit preoccupied. I stood up to ask her in she was available or not available (in good Thai). She didn't answer or want to look at my face.
The reason for no answer is something guys need to understand. In truth she was not bar-fined and therefore dancing and officially available. However she did not wish to say she was available. She also did not want to lie and say she was not available. So Thai technique is to be silent and say nothing. I soon learned why when she got down she made a bee-line for two very young and handsome guys. She probably knew them already and was definitely intent on hooking one of them. Maybe they were even boyfriend potential. She was so hot that I had little doubt she would win. Them is the breaks. Some girls go for old guys like me that treat them nicely, others are thrilled by someone more their own age.
Last night found another girl with similar spectacular figure below the waist, high hips to waist ratio with nice "gap", smallish but nice natural tits (probably only As) and quite pretty face at Sheba's nude oil show. This time the girl was very keen to go with me, and had a fantastic session back at my Hotel as she was really willing to enjoy herself and service too. She was one of the girls who didn't look under-age and showed off her experience in the room. Price was not discussed so I payed based on the performance and duration. Was a little stunned to find out she was 29 but still an immaculate figure. Name omitted since I will probably be be keeping her busy. Not sure why many guys say bar-girls are crap performers. Its probably the too-young ones that more likely to be crap performers. Take an experienced hot looking girl!

First Time Hero Thanks
After months of useless babbling chit-chat dialog on this forum I thought I Would (hopefully) add some useful new observations from a first timer to BKK.
Thanks for your interesting and often funny (!) insights. First trip, first lessons. Some useful, some not.
Bangkok warmly welcomes people who throw money around with open arms. You seem to catch on quickly, but you're on a fairly steep learning curve if you've previously not been to the City of Angels. No worries, though, as it's only (your) money. By your 5th or 6th trip you may want to save a few baht. It's part of the Thai game to be smart with your money.
Without getting into the minutia of your trip report, I will say that your take on Bangkok taxis is not quite right. However, it takes more than one trip to figure this out, and a knowledge of the cityscape and speaking a little Thai helps a lot. There are many more accurate tips on Bangkok taxis on this forum, unfortunately they are not that easy to find. For example:
1) At the airport go to the top floor and catch a taxi that has just dropped someone off. Don't go with the first guy who is out of his cab barking for riders. Find one where the people are just getting out. Don't get in the cab, but tell the driver where you want to go, and say "meter?" Only take a meter taxi. Once underway, the driver will ask you, "motorway?" Say yes, as it's quicker (+ 70 baht). If you arrive in the later evening and are heading for Sukhumvit you can skip the motorway to save on the toll. The non-motorway trip to lower Sukhumvit should only cost +/- 200 baht.
2) Never take a taxi that is parked outside a hotel or attraction. These are the ones that charge more and often scam people.
3) Always ask "meter," before you get in a taxi? It is quite rare that a driver will purposely get stalled in traffic, or drive around, to add to the cost.
There's a lot more that I could add, but part of the fun of visiting Bangkok is figuring it all out.
Did you go to Pattaya? Chok dee! ;)

Beware of Meter too
Last taxi comment from me. I'm often amazed of scams, and one of the best I saw was a taxi at BKK arrivals. So I get through the line and I get a taxi assigned. Everything is on the up and up you know marked cab from the right cue. Anyways, I get loaded and confirm destination. His meter was blank, almost like no power. So we start to move, and the meter is still dark. I begin to insist on meter but cabbie ignoring me. So he reaches over and hits a switch. Meter is on, fare is already at 85bt or something like that. Thai taxi meters include a window for elapsed waiting time. His was like already at 40 minutes or so. He ignores my protests of scam all the way to destination. I'm pissed because I know I paid like $3 too much (but I will spend that on a coffee. It's just principle.). We get to destination and he actually adjusts the fare downward. So I'm ok. I think what happened was really he scammed the taxi owner or company by keeping the meter black. It's like he had it running but the display LEDs were turned off. A first timer would have no idea. Anyways, I kinda laugh now, it the same concept of Cuban taxi drivers being able to turn off their odometers.
Final comment. I love BKK taxi's. Great price and most are clean. I once had a driver told me to be careful with a girl because he overheard the girl's conversation in Thai on her cellphone. After I dropped her off, he said becareful, girl say very bad things, he wouldn't elaborate but I played it safe. For a cabbie to be giving me a warning. It was either not flattering or it was something that may have been planned. Not worth the risk either way but why doubt him, it's not like offered me another girl. Oh yeah, and one other story. Got my 19 year old gf drunk one night (half my age) so we stumbled out of the bar - I think it was Bangkok Beat on Soi 7 or so. She tumbles into the cab, and passes out, I roll in beside her and bark out my destination. Shit, this guy had a police badge dangling from the rearview mirror. I could see him sizing me up with my all tramped out girl (she like to do it up for me). I was worried all the way back, I was getting those evil eyes and I was worried my girl would puke in his cab. Ended up being no problem, but in that 10 minute ride, many bad scenerios were racing through my mind how this could be one expensive ride.
high hips to waist ratio with nice "gap"
I also look for that "feature" on a woman. A lot of guys don't notice it or it does nothing for them. But it's nice feature I love to see on the ladies also.
Thank you for the report.

Did you go to Pattaya? Chok dee! .
Very good tips from the very experienced Fon Tok. One of those is amazingly important. Never waste your time talking to a taxi driver that has possibly been parked for some time. It is always going to go badly, virtually without exception. These drivers are rip off guys. I am sometimes amazed to see a Thai person actually ask them (and get knocked back of course). I don't bother to speak to them at all. Often they are looking only for certain destinations or shoppers and will always cost too much. Always grab a taxi just passing or just arrived dropping off other customers, as Fon Tok says! This applies to almost anywhere you catch a taxi, e.g. outside hotels, discos, bars, etc. Same applies to Tuk Tuks, however mostly forget about Tuk Tuks altogether. Only motorcycle rides should be taken from the standard parked area.
I too have experienced the very occasional circumnavigation of Bangkok with an extremely indirect route using fast flowing freeways, even though I speak Thai, and was carrying GPS and knew the correct route well. Everyone gets burned sometime. I was too busy chatting to the girl to pay attention to the route at first.

Then I looked at your other 25 posts. Now I understand.
My advice is to contribute a little and you will get a better response (even for dumb questions).

The fare should read around 141 Baht. (Sometimes 139 or 143 but rarely). If it's anything more than 141, the meter is rigged. Remember the distance is exactly the same every time, so the fare should be the same. Many of the taxis that work the 'official' taxi rank on the ground floor seem to have rigged meters these days. It's usually only +10% or 20% so most arriving passengers wouldn't notice.

Sheba's Duo
Bar-fined a mature girl (clearly over 20) N1 in Sheba's (Soi Cowboy) , but the one with the hottest body below the waist (tits only A). Also enjoyed the shows (lesbian, oil, soap suds, etc.) and a very young looking one was the best dancer and quite cute, so bought her a drink or two also. Turned out both girls were close friends. N1 urged me to take the young one N2 also. Found out N2 was 18. I was given a guarantee that N2 was a fantastically good fuck. N1 and N2 had been together before. Eventually I agreed.
Wasn't disappointed. N2 had a slightly bigger build than N1 and perfect sized pussy for me. She relaxed and opended very wide. Both responded well to DATY but N2 may have faked it seeming to come rather too quick. Extremely enjoyable session. Its hard to beat the feeling of screwing one girl while the other is licking your balls, or BBBJ with same time ball-licking.
For duos, pick girls not too shy and interact with each other well, e. G. Lesbian show performers that also dance well are best bets.
I use N1 and N2 because most Thai girl names start with N. Nit, Noi, Nok, Ning, Noot, Nut, Nat, Nong, Nuan, Nan, Naam, Noon, Nom, etc.
