My friend and I have had some great deals at Scandallo, from the occasional R500 offer for the hour to R800-R1,000 to go back to hotel for 8 to 10 hours. All the way up to 24 hours for multiple day dates.

Those good deals usually occur because of a combination of:

1) The girl likes you a lot.

2) you are getting a repeat customer discount (some even offered free sessions, but we turned those down as we didn't want to blur the line.).

3) It's a slow time of day and they want to get a session in while business is dead.

4) they are inexperienced / new and don't known what the club market rate is.

5) Not the most attractive girl and can't command the going rate with regularity.

In summary, I believe the current "normal" rate one would expect to pay at Scandallo is R600 to R800 for the hour and R1,200 to R1,500 for an overnight. Of course that range can differ based on many factors from appearance, both yours and hers, chemistry together, day and time, the alignment of the stars, the moon and the sun, and everything mentioned earlier in this novel!

As always with this hobby and in life, YMMV. A Brad Pitt lookalike will get a different experience at Scandallo than a Harvey Weinstein clone.

But had you indeed read it, then you would have known that nowhere did I deny that price is a factor for many here. That would be a silly assertion to make. Because the fact of the matter is that it's a factor for almost everybody here, including me. But the point is that everybody's price is different, and that you had ought to take into account where it is you're trying to buy, and how things work there. You have a good day too!

Having gone to Scandallo, Bomboa, and Photo for 10 years I have never gotten anything lower than 500 R for an hour regardless of the exchange rate. 500 R back then for a solid 9 will cost at least 700 R now taking into consideration inflation in Brasil has always been high. But 10 years ago the exchange was 2:1 and now its 5:1 so its all relative.

This is why I always say don't pay more than 700 for 1 hour or 1500 for overnight and people that think its too high then go somewhere else like clinicas or Connection.

Thanks for all interesting tibits on BA. As a recent frequent traveler to SP, Buenos Aires has intrigued me.

BA has many pluses for me. It is a short hop away, is a large cosmopolitan city (lots of good restaurants, high end hotels and presumably decent infrastructure) and Spanish speaking (My Spanish is way better than my Porto).

However, the ISG Argentina forums is a graveyard for recent info. The confusing / more complex exchange rate system (having to use Western Union or street black market for best rates) is an annoying obstacle.

There also doesn't seem to be places like Scandallo in BA. I prefer to see the girl in person and interact with her to see if we have chemistry and whether my service requests can be met by her. That is why I usually avoid online incall / outcalls escorts and usually only use brothels / clinicas as a backup option. At least in those, you can see how a girl really looks in person before deciding.

I also don't have the time or flexibility to go the SB / Seeking route. I am usually only in the city for a few days at a time so it's not the best ROI for my limited time.

I think on average the service is limited in P4 P. Even Colombia can't match Brazil service wise.

I have looked at SA and contacted some a few years back. It didn't work for me and probably because I didn't spend enough time on it. I only looked at new profiles. There are some activities but I felt it was limited.

My guess is most hotels are girl friendly because there is not much mongering going on. You can ask the hotel before booking. I only had two girls coming to my hotel, always after 10 PM, and they were never bothered except they were asked to present IDs sometimes. The girls that visited me also didn't dress provocatively like you would often see in Medellin.

The easier route is to have USDs and exchange to local currency in downtown Florida street. You can't miss it because they will approach you as you walk down the street. The city's infrastructure is old, a lot of things are broken. I like the food and steak here more than Brazil. Most restaurants are old school in old buildings. Puerto Maduro area has newer and nicer restaurants that are similar to places like Seen or Skye in SP ambience wise.

I already have a flight booked to BA later. That is how much I like the city.

I checked the last few pages on the local forum and most guys paid 350-500 for an hour there, with few exceptions who had paid 300. Scandallo is more expensive than Casarao.

Going off of the suggestions here I tried a few girls off of the bairesgirls site. I was able to find some information in Spanish to cross reference a few of them, and setup some appointments. When you text one of these girls they have a generic message they send outlining the details of their service. You let them know if you want a half hour or an hour, when, and then set a date. The first girl I saw definitely hit me with a gringo tax, likely from seeing my US number, but even so it came out to $50 for an hour with anal included so I didn't want to argue it. Only one was something I'd consider repeating. In terms of service it offered no competition to Brazil.

Currently they will give you 322 pesos per dollar, whereas a local shop will offer you somewhere around 300 pesos per dollar, and really only for crisp $100's. $50's they tend to offer a few pesos less. The downside is almost every Western Union will ask how much you're trying to pick up, and then tell you they don't have the money. For my first transfer I only tried to get $500 worth, and literally only one shop in the city that I could find had the cash for even that small amount. The wait time was several hours in line, but unfortunately because I arrived via Brazil I had almost $0 as I would just hit up the ATM every other day. In my opinion, the "best" option is to bring stacks of $100's, find a shop that offers a fair rate, and change them as needed.

Never ever pay for anything with a credit card. Currently the official rate is 130 pesos per dollar, and that's what any credit card transaction will use. Paying in pesos Argentina is reasonably cheap, paying with a credit card prices are more expensive than in the US. That also means you'll be overpaying for your hotel. I stayed in a five star hotel and it cost me just shy of $600 per night. The nice restaurants definitely accept pesos. I was not asked for dollars anywhere, and I didn't offer.

It took me roughly five days to get settled in in BA. Today was not bad, and if I had another week I think it would be a decent time. A third week would probably be disappointing, as the talent pool is a bit on the small side. Argentinian women are exactly my type, and walking the city I saw the two best looking women I've ever seen in person. People talk about 10's a lot, and I've seen plenty of 8's and 9's with stellar makeup, but I've never actually seen a genuine 10 in person before visiting Argentina. Here I saw one just out in the wild acting like regular people. With that said, given all of the hurdles and apparent lack of options, I couldn't recommend it as long as Brazil is on the table.
