Hotel Nutibara: assuming I book a room for 2 persons, is the hotel guest friendly? Or is it a hassle to bring a lady into the hotel?
I've never stayed there, but there are numerous reports in this forum from people who have stayed there that say it is guest friendly. Some say there is a fee a night, but no fee during the day. I don't recall what time the fee starts, but I think it may be 6 pm.
My realtor friend has said the last 2 months have been her worst. Gringos are not feeling welcome anymore in Medellin. Gringos are being branded as "evil sex tourists" by the mayor.
What does that mean in practical terms?

Haven
Am I right in thinking Haven is the nicest hotel in Medellin?
Am I right in thinking Haven is the nicest hotel in Medellin?
I wouldn't say it's the nicest in all of MDE. BUT, it's my go-to every time I'm there and I'd recommend it. Only time I’ve stayed anywhere else was Airbnb in Laureles and I don’t do that shit solo - scop. Was just there and will be there again in April. Unless you're banging multiples every day, you won't run into the guest fee. And ymmv with the front desk in that regard. Be nice. You wont have any issue. I love the balance of security, rooftop, pretty decent breakfast and nice food/drinks, nicer digs, and proximity that it has. But I usually find 1 or 2 chicas I like and rotate, or call my regulars.

On Airbnbs / Wake
I scroll through the reviews and when I find one like this, I know I'm looking at the right building. LOL.
I believe this is the Wake building btw. In case anyone has more up to date info on Wake, please share as Im looking at it for a group of 4.

And if you leave the park on the main street there are several more. Ibiza Motel is a great option too if you want the girl (s) for several hours. You will need a taxi ride for Ibiza, but the rooms have hot tubs, stripper poles, drinks, and everything that you may need.
Has anyone stayed at this hotel? And what is the guest policy? I've been considering to pick this hotel as it is conveniently located at El tesoro Centro comercial And they have rooftop pool.
I stayed here for a few days and I had one guest with me and they were fine. I saw several gentlemen bringing in guests as well, but sorry I don't remember the cost or limitations per guest.

This is highly unlikely to be Wake. Wake has strict no visitor policy. No exceptions made. Speaking from experience.
You said you almost always stay at Haven. Their PH suites and Presidential suites I believe are 4 bedrooms each. I know for sure that they have two and three bedroom suites. All with Jacuzzis.

Not staying near Poblado this visit. Any short stay hotels that are clean and safe I can bring girls to nearby?

Where did you stay?
Hi,
Where did you end up stayed? Any recommendations?
We are going in October.
Hi all. I stayed at Haven during my last visit. Nice boutique hotel. Extremely girl friendly, secure and nice rooms. Although the rooms are on smaller side. I took the 2 bedroom with 2 jacuzzis for some more space, but still felt it was a small rooms. Haha.
I am going back to medellin next week. Any other hotels / boutique apartments etc. That you will recommend? Budget is NOT an issue I. E. I am not looking to solve for less amount. I am looking for safe, high end hotels. Marquee continues to say No to bringing in girls.
There's one agency that meets all of those, but their guest policy is asinine. Every guest must be registered at check-in. I've also found others that have various limitations, from no sex tourism to no guests at all. Because of the hassle of finding an apartment, I would like to find an unfurnished apartment to rent for a year, and buy my own furnishings. I figure after a year or so, I would be ahead because I usually spent five months a year there. So far, I haven't found one I like.
