Was not my quote but I have spent time hunting massages. Obviously, it depends on what you are looking for. For full service, there is New Body (& a couple other similar outfits). IMO, they are way overpriced. You do get the benefit of "shopping". But you'll pay less for full service at HK. If you are looking for a good massage, Kalinca or Aztec are decent. My personal preference is the vivamex on revolucion. There are two. I use the one on the east side of the road. I have always received a very good massage there and was surprised a time or two, though I would not expect it.
Lastly, I've also had massages from escorts and SGs. The SG massages were mostly very good, but of course, that is definitely hit or miss.

Are there any BBVA Bancomer ATMs in / close to Zona Norte? On the Western Union Option, I called again and this time they said that US citizens can collect money, but they added that there is a tax on money transactions. Will give it a shot on my next trip and see how it turns out.
I was in SD for a day and had some extra time on hand, so decided to take a quick trip to the adult disneyland.
Went to the little tienda (store) on the corner of alley and Constitution (Fruteria Avitia IIRC) and bought a vitamin V and coconut water to take it. 85 pesos for both. Moved to Tropical bar for a couple of 2-for-1 beers and checked out the level of talent they put on stage. This is a low key bar so do not expect HK or Adelitas level stuff. Enjoyed by beers and at some point they started the DJ singing karoke with patrons and some other patrons (not the bar girls) started to dance on stage. I took it as my cue to get out of there!
Went to the alley looking for SG Celeste de Michoacan who stands on Constitution / alley corner next to Hacienda bar. She is a dead ringer for a family friend (who is also from Michuacan and makes me wonder if they are even related or share some common family lineage!) and at standard 400 pesos for sin ropa, BJ and multiple positions, plus 80 pesos for hotel, gives me an easy way to live out my fantasy of being with this otherwise married woman! Standard SG session at Hotel Cacadas (same thay HK girls use) and I was on my way back to border. No line at 1:45 AM and I was back to parking lot in under 5 minutes.
Overall a little over 3 hours in Tijuana with 3 nuts, 3 tacos and a few beers! Not a bad way to use that time!

I also called Western Union. They said Americans can pick up in Tijuana with a valid passport or drivers license. I hung up the phone and gor on their App to send myself some pesos. The rate looked to good to be true. So I took a second look, and also saw a tax is imposed at pickup. There was no info on the amount of the tax.
It seems most people use Moneygram for sending themselves pesos in Mexico. Could be this tax is why. I'the be very interested in knowing how much this tax is.
