Any poll lovers out there ready for an update?
As it stands today, there are finally enough polls on Trump vs Harris Head-to-Head and the 3-5 Ways for polling services like 538 and even the old Nate Silver version of it to come to a Consensus on most issues.
To start, virtually every No Toss-Up States Electoral College Map out there (such as the 270 To Win Consensus Map in the photo below) shows the same thing; if Harris takes WI, MI and PA, she wins 270 Electoral College Votes and the election. Although there are now a few other paths opening up for her to win and / or for her to comfortably win more than 270, but that appears to be the most consistent scenario for her to hit 270.
That being the case, it is worth noting that, as seen in two of my previous posts, even the demonstrably Winger-leaning RealClearPolitics people have already shifted MI from Trump to Harris on their No Toss-Up States EV Map and are reluctantly admitting that PA (and GA) really ought to be taken away from Trump on a No Toss-Up status.
However, it appears those nice folks over at RCP are even more reluctant to actually get around to doing the above and updating their Map accordingly. I suppose it is very hard for them to move their keyboard fingers in the same direction as their minds and mouths. When it comes to disappointing their beloved Trump, that is.
Anyway, meanwhile, the 538 Polling site has finally updated a few key items thus:
- Harris leads Trump in MI.
- Harris leads Trump in PA.
- They say it is too soon for them to come up with a Consensus on WI, but it sure looks to me like Harris is ahead of Trump there a tad as well.
- Also, they say it is too soon to tell for the overall National level. But, there again, it sure looks to me like Harris has edged out Trump there too:

Now, on the old Nate Silver version of the 538 site (Silver Bulletin), his latest update with the best polls that matter (according to him) show Harris ahead of Trump Nationally and, by golly, of the 9 states he has designated Battleground States, there is Harris in the lead in WI, MI and PA (and VA):

That's all for now, except for Trump keeps repeating that he is "ahead in the polls, by a LOT. " As of today, he is lying about that more than ever. By a LOT, as they say.
What I have read does not comport with your summary
Hey Tooms LOL, what's your thoughts on this male boxer in the Olympics knocking out his female opponent in under a minute? Just curious how you justify this from the Democrats who have made the Olympics a political weapon of influence and completely discriminate against anyone who doesn't support their agenda.
A few years ago, they wanted to eliminate the oldest sport in the world from the Olympics which is wrestling and now they have men boxing women. And also banning Russia from the Olympics which contributed immensely to the conflict between east and west.
Real discrimination.
I know this is big news in MAGA World and maybe Trump wants to blame Kamala Harris and Taylor Swift for it. But the way you described it does not remotely comport with the known and published facts. Not yet anyway.
These were typical of the results of a Google Search on it:
Who is Imane Khelif? Algerian boxer facing gender outcry had modest success before Olympics.
https://apnews.com/article/olympics-2024-imane-khelif-boxing-paris-2eb07d442ffb29a61e09911884dcdaa9
VILLEPINTE, France (AP) Algerian boxer Imane Khelif has landed in the middle of a divide about gender in sports after her Italian competitor, Angela Carini, pulled out seconds into their bout at the Paris Olympics.
Outcry has come from conservatives like former U.S. President Donald Trump and Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni. Khelif was disqualified from the 2023 world championships after failing unspecified and untransparent eligibility tests for womens competition from the now-banned International Boxing Association.
Khelif was assigned female at birth and it says so on her passport, which is the International Olympic Committees threshold for eligibility for boxing because of the rift between the sports governing body and the IOC.
Olympic female boxers are being attacked. Let's just slow down and look at the facts.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/columnist/dan-wolken/2024/08/01/boxers-under-fire-olympic-gender-tests/74634233007/
We know that on Wednesday, the IBA issued a statement saying that Khelif and Lin did not undergo a testosterone examination but failed a separate and recognized test, whereby the specifics remain confidential during the IBA Womens World Boxing Championships in India in March of 2023.
.......
A 2023 story in the Taiwan News at the time of Lins disqualification said no explanation was given other than an abnormality and that she had never failed a gender test in the past. Some contemporaneous news reports around Lins disqualification speculated about women boxers having to take certain medications to adjust their menstrual cycles to match the competition schedule.
Heres something else we also know: The IBA has been in a long-running dispute with the IOC, and as a result, boxings future in the Olympics beyond the Paris Games is up in the air.
Whats the dispute about? In a word: Russia.
When Umar Kremlev became the IBA president in 2020, he made his mark by signing a significant sponsorship deal with Gazprom, Russias state energy supplier. It is understood that Gazprom essentially funded the IBAs entire operation.
Early in 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. As a result, the IOC wanted the IBA to drop Gazprom and make other reforms to its governance and financial structures and to clean up a bevy of ethical issues.
........
So heres this long-running dispute between the IOC and a fully Russian-backed boxing organization, coming to a head at an Olympics where the Russians are truly personae non gratae.
.........
What else do we know? We know that Khelif and Lin have been competing in this sport for years, including the Olympics three years ago, and were not exactly dominating the competition. Khelif lost in the quarterfinals in Tokyo and Lin lost in the round of 16 of a different weight class. They were also being tested without any issue coming up, until this sudden 2023 test that nobody can really explain.
Amy Broadhurst, an Irish world champion boxer who has been in the ring with Khelif and beaten her, posted on X that, "Personally I don't think she has done anything to 'cheat'. I thinks (sic) it's the way she was born & that's out of her control. The fact that she has been (beaten) by 9 females before says it all."
Yes, you read that right. If anything, this might turn out to be just another instance where Putin has made his Puppet Trump dance for him as Russia's Most Useful Idiot. " Lolol.

Blackness in the United States of America
Race has no place in politics!
The first time I went to the a country on the African Continent the name of the country was South Africa still during the days of Apartheid. When I arrived the customs agent did not tell me I could only operate in the designated homelands. He said, welcome to South Africa you are our guest. So, I am out in the country and I go into the store to buy something and ask for it. The store clerk asks: Are you American?. They did not say, welcome back my brother.
When I goto Colombia I present a my passport. My passport is issued by the United States of America. They say to me: enjoy your visit.
When I goto the Dominican Republic I present my passport. My passport is issued by the United Staes of America. They say to me: enjoy your visit.
When I return to the United States of America. I present my passport. I get sent to secondary. Not riding dirty so I clear. But I miss my flight. I finally make it to my destination. I collect my bags and exit the airport. First thing I hear is: n***** go home. Shit! I was born in dis mother fucker. Where am I suppose to go? Where am I? Pulaski, Tennessee.
Racial division serves the economic interested of the Plutocracy of the United States of America. Not a means of economic control and suppression (although it does serve that purpose) but as a distraction from the gross inequities of wealth distribution in the United States of America.
Fixed that for you.
I used to think racist meant discriminating against people on the basis of being race. Now racism is prejudice against white.
Obama is 50% white and is called black.
Kamala is 75% white and is calling herself black.
Elizabeth Warren is 100% white and called herself Native American.
The fact that you Democrats keep lying about race shows you are the racist ones.
And Spidy keep going about my being sexist. How is that even possible when you Democratic douches cannot even define what a woman is?
Ok, we will take that as a No
Biden or Harris? Who is the acting president now?
And your point is just a distraction. If Biden knew about the raid, it is disgusting. If he did not know about it, it is disgusting. If I am president and the FBI does not notify me about a raid of a political opponent, whoever gave the okay is fired. Period. I would demand that the DOJ be kept objective. If I am president, I call Trump myself. I tell him that NARA needs the records. I tell him to have the documents ready within 7 days. If not, I will notify the media of the noncompliance and then and only then say he could receive a SWAT raid.
Why was this done? First off, apparently the FBI had copies of all the records Trump had. So this was not about the government having records but Trump not having them. The other story was the FBI was worried Trump had records embarrassing to the FBI and the top secret thing was all a ruse. That makes sense as to why the FBI did what it did.
As far as the Biden administration being out of the loop, that is a huge stretch to believe. And if they did not know, they should have.
Here is what you want to dispute Tooms: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/04/10/report-joe-bidens-white-house-involved-in-raid-on-donald-trumps-mar-a-lago-residence/.
So get your fact checkers out and say this document proves nothing. What you do not get is no one on our side cares. We all think Biden was in on everything.
Ok, we'll take that as No, neither Biden nor Harris sent a SWAT Team to Mar-a-Lardo.
And, technically and literally, it was not a "raid", it was a search:
Why Calling the Mar-a-Lago Search a 'Raid' Is Polarizing 'Disinformation,' in Gov. Ron DeSantis' Own Words.
https://people.com/politics/why-calling-mar-a-lago-search-raid-is-misleading-polarizing/
And, no, Trump did not die as a result of that FBI search despite his later claim that he only "nearly escaped death". He wasn't even there at the time, according to prior arrangement. And the FBI search followed the same standard procedure followed in the search of Biden's property:
FACT FOCUS: Trump distorts use of deadly force language in FBI document for Mar-a-Lago search.

Also, at this point in time, Joe Biden is still the President of the United States of America and still leading, co-ordinating and completing complex, complicated and unprecedentedly successful historic multi-national foreign policy negotiations and accomplishments as well as historic bi-partisan economic achievements no Repub and especially Trump was ever capable of accomplishing.
Meanwhile, VP Harris is involved in those as well but not in the clear and unanimously agreed upon leadership level that Biden is. She splits her time between that and chasing Donald Trump through one typically cowardly Trumpian dodge and Big Lie flaming hoop on the campaign trail. Beating him in the polls on that count, too.
I guess Glitch is the new Last Stage of Dementia.
I just know actor Kevin Costner will post an open letter in Breitbart any minute now begging Trump to drop out over this.
And every pundit and anchor in Mainstream Media will surely speak of this in hushed tones of grave concern for the welfare of America every hour of every day until Trump's poll numbers take a minimal dip and the dumb Repub hillbilly donations dry up, seriously hindering down ballot Repubs' chances of competing, who will also line up to request he drop out for the sake of democracy.
Then, for the benefit of America, to Make America Great Again, Trump will finally drop out and hand the top of the ticket spot to hetero-sectional VP candidate Vance.
Right? Lolol.
Donald Trump 'Glitching' During Rally Sparks Speculation.

https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-glitching-during-rally-sparks-speculation-1934276
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump,78, stumbled over phrases at a campaign rally on Saturday, sparking speculation about his cognitive abilities from critics on social media.
Speaking at a rally in Atlanta on Saturday night, the former president slurred and mispronounced "wrecking" as "reckting," "mobs" as "marbs" and said "place" instead of "police" before correcting himself.
"Together we will stop Kamala Harris' nation reckting...I'll tell you what...," he said before changing the subject, and then later "She will not stop, she said she was endorsing defund the place, and, the police, and she said violent marbs, let the violent mobs keep going."
Newsweek has contacted Trump's campaign via email for comment outside business hours.
Insightful reading of the background to this story.
Can you (or any other Putin's cocksuckers on this forum) prove that Imane Khelif was born male? If you can, I'll immediately join your discontent, I promise.
Please, take your time.
Funny how a particular Russian (Putin) is so thin-skinned.

AP laid out time tine and background to this story.
Perhaps before one regurgitates info they heard from the convict or other siloed sources, do a little google search, and look for confirmation of story from other sources.
