Requiring IDs would be a deterrent for crime, but could also be a deterrent for many to patronize these places in the first place if it means a brothel will have their personal information on file. There are several big spending customers in particular who probably fall into that group. So I see your point and think it's a large part of the reason these clubs would probably never even consider requiring IDs (unless mandated by law).

Me personally, I'd be willing to sacrifice a little bit of privacy (though I think it's highly unlikely these clubs would ever intentionally or inadvertently release personal information to the public anyway) and allow the clubs to photocopy my ID if it meant possibly saving the lives of several chicas. But do understand that for many privacy would be a significant concern here.

For booked rooms ID is already required.

For steak I would suggest the bros to go to Azul to eat it properly. There was half a pizza and a fruit plate left. I gave it to Felix at the front desk so he could eat it with the meseros.

I just got back from a 2 night stay at Cascadas which is the hotel owned and ran by Hong Kong. I parked in the lot by Jack in the Box in San Ysidro. The walk across was a breeze at 6 pm on a Friday, and there was no wait. The Mexican border agent just asked to look at my passport, and did not ask any other questions, and she did not have me fill out an FMM card which was a first for me as they did before.They do scan your luggage going into Tijuana with the same style machines used at airports so be careful not to bring anything that could be confiscated.

I walked over to the little wait room / facility to catch the Hong Kong limo which is about 2 short blocks from where you exit the turnstyle at the border exit point. You may ask a taxi driver or shop vendor if you are not sure where it is located and they will show you how to find it. I was not in a big hurry to check in as time was still early for the night, so I did have to wait about 20 minutes for the courtesy Hong Kong limo to show up and pick several of us mongers. I did end up tipping the driver a couple of bucks, as did the other riders, but the ride is less than a few minutes. If you arrive late, then taking a taxi would certainly save the 10-20 minute wait.

I had a master suite, which was a larger room than the standard room, and comes with a jacuzzi but standard rooms are fine for most. I did get a chance by the way to walk across the sister property, Hotel Rizo de Oro, but found that the rooms are similar quality as HK but the decor is slightly different, still very nice and updated. So, this is a good option if you cannot get a room at Hong Kong and it is situated right across the street so the girls can just walk across with you. I walked across the street to the mini mart and purchased water, drinks, etc. as the in room beverages are expensive.

Friday night at Hong Kong was jumping, and I actually thought there was a little more talent selection and a few more options than on Saturday night. The ratio of girls to guys was really good, so girls were eager to do arribas. As usual, the meseros (waiters) were very pushy, so if they see you sit down with a girl all the waiters in that area will hound you to buy drinks. The minute your girl finishes her drink also you will need to buy her a drink or she will stand up and leave. I was told by several girls that management is pushing them to sell drinks, and they must sell 100 fichas / drink tickets in a week, or they will pay 100 dollars. The ladies drinks were at 10 dollars for the most part. I did not care for the pushiness and did not feel like I could go less than 2 minutes without a waiter, souvenir seller, snack seller coming over asking me to buy something. This was so annoying. The girls were asking between 80-100 dollars, and some wanted 30 minute time limits. I ended up taking a nice one back on Friday night, and then called it a night around 1 am.

I woke up Saturday, and ended up going to breakfast at the restaurant at Hotel Rizo de Oro and had an excellent Grand Slam breakfast for about 9 dollars; strongly recommend it. Just out of curiosity, I strolled down into the club around noon and although it had some people in there, the numbers of girls available was low and many guys were sitting in the downstairs tables having a drink. I checked a couple of hours later, and it was still slow so I ended up doing some work on my laptop in the room.

The "night shift" of girls started arriving at 8 pm, and this is the second shift unofficial time to start showing up. So, I found the best selection could be had 8-10 pm Interestingly enough, the amount of talent in the club drops around 11:30-12:30 as they are busy doing Arribas (sessions upstairs). But miraculousy, around 12:30-1 pm girls were coming back from their first or second sessions, and guys getting tired made the selection go up. Just my observation.

Saturday night was good as well, just a notch of selection down from Fridays numbers but still very good. I was concerned the Super Bowl weekend may have duded the place out, but it was still fine. Ended up taking a nice girl named Alexia from Tijuana. She is younger, medium size breasts, curvy; not too thick or thin but would repeat.

Came back today, Sunday and took an Uber for only 50 pesos or about $2.50 and it was quick and easy. No need to wait for the limo, and he dropped me off right at the border. Being it was 10 am, the line to walk into the US was super quick, and only took me about 5 minutes to get through. I went back to my car and drove back to LOS Angeles with minimal traffic. I really enjoyed my time, my only complaints were lack of things to do during the day in the area and the super pushiness of the meseros, LOL. But I would still overall say it is a must go.
