These videos are from a Filipina named Jennifer Terri. She's great. She takes a direct shot at the BOQ for the recent kerfufle. The basic issue is this: The new OHP registration must be done within 24 hours of your arrival (not departure). That is not possible for passengers coming from the US (their flights might depart well before the 24-hour window starts). Error message from the OHP registration site, if trying to register before the prior 24-hour window before arrival:
"Thank you for indicating the date of your arrival. However, registration is only allowed within 24 hours prior your [B]departure.[/B] Please come back and register within 24 hours before your actual [B]arrival[/B] in Philippines".

The old system generated a barcode when you initially applied, a qr code when you were clear to fly. The new system generates a barcode when you're clear to fly, a qr code when you're clear for the express lane.
Que the confusion when I had to argue at check in on the London Heathrow to muscat leg of my trip. Barcode, no qr code. And they haven't been told of the new system. Literally the boq letter (will try to attach, if I don't have to resize it) I screenshotted was the only thing to swing it.
The qr code for the express Lane was generated precisely on time. Four hours before the muscat manila leg of my journey.
I can seem to find any info on what happens if you test positive for Covid for your flight back to the USA Do you have to quarantine? For how long? And how bad are the quarantine facilities. Not to be negative, but would like to know what happens if this should occur.

I would like to add my experience on this particular matter.
1) The registration opens 48 hours now. Not sure when they changed from 24 hours.
2) Upon registration with covid test results and Vaccination certificate (I have used the Australian medicare express app to generate an international certificate), received an e-mail with a barcode almost instantly.
3) I will attempt to complete the health declaration online around 24 hours mark. I am sure my departure time is considered from mel than Syd as it is a single itinerary ticket.
Will keep posted here about the airport experiences and some FRs.

Actually, I felt this is easier than initially worried. If this reduces the workload and delays in the airport, I appreciate their work. Well done.

How was the issue of the Quarantine hotel handled, both in OHP website and at the outbound airport? A day or so prior to flight, airlines are sending this requirement (see pic). In one of Jennifer Terri's previous BOQ videos, when she was walking thru the OHP website, she said something like: "Don't worry about this (Q hotel) anymore. Just drop down the list and choose one (hotel), it doesn't matter". Now the airline is wanting proof of a Q hotel reservation.

If you test positive in Phils (at any time, not just when departing Phils), couple of possibilities:
1) They send you back to your condo to self-isolate, and test every few days, releasing you to return home when you've tested negative (or twice; or more times if your pinay is not happy with you).
2) They let you choose a Quarantine hotel (see pic), and you isolate there until testing negative.

Yet the Phils BOQ's OHP webiste still pops up with this (see pic), stating that if you are vaccinated and have a negative PCR, you don't need to quarantine.

Persons testing covid-positive will simply have nothing to show in order to board their flight.
As a data point for the Philippines entry it was so easy and fast. Here are my tips.
Retain your boarding pass for arrival checking.
A) Do not start the OHP registration until you have scanned / PDF copies of both your vax cert and your PCR / RAT. As I was getting a RAT 16 hours before my first departure, that means I didn't start my actual OHP until 15 hours before.
B) You will need to know who you are, where you live, your birthdate and other pieces of info (like your flight) which some people have found challenging. Most won't.
C) You will need to know where you are going on your first day after arriving in Ph.
After completing those details I received the barcode which also now states it is acceptable for boarding the flight.
D) I was then able to answer the supplementary health questions which were straightforward.
When I check the next day and before board I had the QR code also.
In preparation for approaching the airline check-in I already know they will ask for four things. I had them printed and in my hand in this order.
A) OHP barcode or QR code. (I had the barcode printed).
B) Travel insurance.
C) Vax cert.
D) RAT result.
Check was completed easily.
On arrival in NAIA there was a signage directing people with barcodes down left alley, QR Codes to the right.
A) At the first desk I had to present QR code and boarding pass.
B) On to Immigration, standard questions.
C) On to baggage collection.
From aircraft door opening to taxi door was < 25 minutes.
