Medellin Reports

Sounds good, but some of us will need a lesson on how to use it.

I my case I use AT&T go phone plan that does not let me use the internet, only WiFi.

But, of course that is the USA. They want your money, money.

I remember being able to get the internet in Buenos Aires, AR. , using their sim cards, pay by the minute plan.

How do you use GPS, when you don't know where the place is?

I have seen some clubs and places around the world that do use GPS grid locations.

I'm hearing reports of crime increases this summer in Medellin? I blend in pretty well, but my buddy is as gringo as they get. I would like to avoid getting stuck up after a pizza dinner in Parque Lleras, should we keep our tourist activities to daytime only? Or is this just paranoia setting in.

There does seem to be an uptick in crime reports. There was a shooting in front of see. See. Santa Fe which is normally a good area. An American was pistol whipped and robbed in front of the Hard Rock. It can be difficult getting a straight answer in this forum. For some reason if someone has not been personally attacked or robbed they seem to think it's safe for everyone else. It's up to you to decide what kind of precautions you want to take to reduce your chance of being a target. In the end it's mostly left of up dumb luck (or lack thereof).

Or is this just paranoia setting in.[/QUOTE]Lleras itself is fine at anytime but it is a good idea to get a taxi back to your hotel or apartment as the side streets around Pablado (or any part of Medellin for that matter) can be risky at night. Pre-booked taxis are the safest.

If you get tln FOR 100,000 you will have done very well.

Doesn't matter if she takes the bus and saves the extra, include some money for a taxi in your equation. I have been in a few casas when the girls were getting paid and 50-60 % is about right. Try to arrange a time just before her time to start working or right after she gets out. It is much easier for them to arrange things with the babysitter or keep the facade up with their family / boyfriend / husband that they are going to a regular job or university and have to go a little early or stay a little late. Obviously not every girl has these things to consider and some may not be doing anything before or after work hours or may be established in the casa and can take off any time but most need to show up every day unless emergency or act of nature. 80-100 mil is about right for 1-2 hours of time spent depending on what casa you are picking her out from. Let us know your test results.

I have always offered 100 k for 2 hrs, but with casa chicas I ask them to go in an hour or 2 late if starting time 1100 at the casa as I much prefer fresh rather a tired chica at 7 pm. What I like better is a centro strip club chica who starts at 4 pm as I much prefer a 1 pm encounter that a 9 or 10 am one. Last time the strip club selection was weak when I was there so not partaking. But your point is well taken. Will do if the right paisa is around.

I want to sound genuine and straight to the point. I know some of you have added girls on facebook and emailed them. Just want to know how you will approach is with the email.
