The bus takes maybe an hour more then driving a car but you have room and comfort on the bus. There only 3 stops and you can get some snacks and use your phone to organize your fucking. Same is true when landing in Santiago. The bus is a great option.

I should have read the screen shot. It is an extension of emergency powers for the President. It allows him to issue presidential decrees with immediate effect without the normal requirement for advice and consent of the Dominican Congress. How the President chooses to exercise those powers, including whether or not international flights will or will not be allowed, is as yet undetermined.
