i decided to go down and check out things for myself as curiosity and gatos go along hand in hand.

the taxi dropped me off in front of adelita which was closed, but they had some barkers telling people they could get through a yellow door that was between the hotel and the restaurant (or hotel and the church or something, still it was a badass genius thinking to keep the people that get dropped off at adelita from straying) which was actual the back fire exit for valentinas. so i walked back lockers and other stuff into the back of the bar. felt like that oft repeated scene in movies when people sneak into a place through the back rather than standing in line at the front door.

valentinas was packed with its girls + many adelita bar girls. since i'm never down there on tuesday night i couldn't tell what impact there was on business. every table was taken and there were tons of girls standing around and lots of customers. not only was i there on a tuesday, i was there pretty early (9:30 however when locking onto the telcel tower i went back in time to 8:30. note to telcel: fix your clock). when i've been in valentina before they'd play more norteño and other mexican music but they had the adelita set list tonight.

in the time i was walking around outside they may the command decision to not let people go through valentina's backdoor and instead had mongers go through hotel coahuila so you went up the stairs on ave coahuila to the right of reception then down the hall toward its callejón side entrance. then down stairs, outside and into valentinas. my amiga did not know this so i actually had to tell her when the guy at the back door of the club told her we couldn't pass. she was not pleased to have to do all that walking in her stripper heels. we both remarked how big the hotel was and there was that whole section that neither of us had been in before (we used the main reception, not the alley side reception. i don't know if that's always the case when you bring a girl up from the alley side or not).

after our session she went toward the alley exit and i went toward main exit. i grabbed a taxi and was back home in no time flat.

I didn't realize AB was closed at the beginning of the month. I went 2 days ago and everything seemed fine.
