Outside of Cali, Colombia doesn't have an especially great Salsa scene. Most of the Paisas prefer to listen (and dance) to Reggaeton, Hip Hop, etc. A few might have a very rudimentary grasp of Salsa.

Truth be told, outside of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Cali and a few other places, Latin America is not that great of a destination for Salsa.

I have been to a few good Salsa clubs in MDE (El Suave is my favorite), but a city of comparable size in the US will have more good clubs for dancing.

If you really want to do a dance/chica vacation, learn in the US, then take a trip to Cuba or Cali, Colombia. I have done that seveal times and can give you plenty of advice if you'd like.

Bello is in the far North of Medellin (not sure it's technically part of the City of MDE, might be a suburb). It's a pretty big neighborhood, certainly not upper Strata, but not as bad as the worst areas like San Javier either. Lots of working girls may very well be from Bello. But there also seems to be a trend for lots of girls to say they're from Bello since it's a LONG ways away from where most of us mongers stay. Thus, the girl can claim you should give her money (or more money) to take a taxi to Poblado.

From your answers, I can deduce the following:

1. Casa Blanca seems like a great option for new mongers like me visiting Medellin. I think I will try a day or two stay there.

2. The Centro masajes Pekin in Poblado from your review does not seem to be such a good place to spend your money or sucks big time if he only has two middle age working girls. I can tell you one thing for sure, with so many beautiful young women in Medellin to fuck I am not going to spend it on middle age women, Thanks for the info at least I know where not to waste my time and money. Thanks for the feedback regarding dance lessons in Medellin. I live in New Jersey, and not too many places near where I live to get dance lessons.

I just found this website of dance lessons in El Poblado and Embigado at [URL]http://www.santobaile.com/clases/[/URL].

It has some videos of the dancers with the clients. The teachers are great looking Paisa ladies. Who knows if those ladies are prepagos or nonpros. I am definitely making a visit there once I get there. The school has dance lessons such as Salsa, bachata, reggaeton, hip hop. Take a look at the website.

I went there every day for one week and I found 3 interesting girls. You have to go Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I got a lot of valuable information from the website, gyms, martial arts, hot yoga in Poblado, dance places and lessons all over Medellin, restaurants, etc, etc. I am pretty sure I won't be.

Cali dancers are really top-level. If you want to pursue this style, you better be in really good condition. It's worth seeing in person. Very few people do it outside of Cali.

Sixttina Discoteca- this is a high end night club located at the Rio Sur, across from Oviedo Mall. My Colombian friend invited me out along with 2 of his female friends. 4 guys and 3 girls in my party. Entrance was 15-20 COP K? Don't quite remember. We got a table and a bottle of smirnoff was about 90 COP K. It wasn't anything extravagant to the nice Vegas night clubs but it was pretty modern. Most of the girls going to this club are with guy friends and its very rare to see "only groups of girls" the girls there are Hot! 75% of the women there were solid 7 or above. I felt like I was in some modeling convention. We had drinks, danced the night away. I end up making out with one of the girls who came with us.

Fahrenheit Discoteca-We went to this spot at 1 am, its a great after hour spots. Most of the crowd starts to pour in around 3 am. DAMN, you'll see so many beautiful women! She doesn't speak English, my Spanish is limited. With my dance skills, being positive, always smiling and maybe my good looks helped out. Speaking Spanish and Learning how to dance is a must to get with a non pro Colombian girl. While there are a few cultural differences, the game remains the same but in different language. So speaking Spanish is a must!

Other places have dude teachers. Still a lot less than lessons in your home country. Even if they don't dance "correctly" in Colombia. You can always get the rhythm down here and if you're ever in PR or DR take a new class so your moves look good.
