We were hanging out at a mall and she started picking up various relatively expensive items for her family members (new shoes for her dad, a hover board for her son, etc). It definitely takes a HUGE effort and tolerance level to advance any relationship with a HK chica into something beyond simply getting laid at the club for $100.
