Cash Flow Issue
Cash flow is a big problem. It gets worse when a foreigner is the customer. Perhaps they have learned that the impatient foreigner is more willing to eat a small loss and take less change. It is less of a problem with high volume businesses. Taxis are awful. When exchanging money I always make sure I have some small bills.

All have the no change excuse to get more of a tip. The front desk can break up a big bill as can most chain establishments like McDonalds, SM, SB, and 7-11. You do get glares if it is a really large bill and you are just buying a coke or breath mints. If you have local currency on arrival, some airport money changers will break a bill you.

Change change change
Most small businesses do not have access to change as most do not have a relationship with a bank to get change. Another problem for them is they would have to have a lot of money tied up in change bills, possibly more than their daily sales. Most businesses purchase their goods and pay for their operating costs in cash.
I try to get as much 50's and 100's as possible from large grocery stores and national chains and it still doesn't last.
-
Getting change for a large bill ($100) is a problem in USA too. Try buying something for $10 and paying with a $100 bill. 7-11's have a sign posted no bills larger than $20 accepted.
Getting change for large bills is not only a Phil problem.

Hey there,
I'm planning to go back to The Philippines in a few months. But I want to take some advice from the veteran guys. First of all, what's the best place to pick girls? I tried Burgos st in Makati, but most of them were ladyboys. I honestly don't mind ladyboys from time to time, but come on. Nothing beats a pussy. So as I said what's the best place for it. Either in Manila or Makati. It doesn't matter.
Second of all what is the average price for a full day?. Last but not least, I want to go to Borocay for a few day, how can I arrange that with the girl, I mean do they accept that or you have to convince them? Is plane tickets, food and drinks enough or I have to pay for everyday? I know that's a lot of questions, but I'm sorry I'm a noob when it comes to the Philippines.

Shop assistants are almost all programmed to say "do you have smaller bills Sir?" when you flash a 1000 or a 500.
I always say "No" when I am in a 7-11 or a Mini-Stop because they ALWAYS have change.
Sometimes they have to call the Manager to open the locked drawer under the counter. Sometimes he / she will pull wads of bills out of their pockets and make change.
They must give change.
See the following law enacted in 2016.
http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/08/02/16/new-ph-law-ensures-consumers-get-exact-change
I understand that they keep the cash flow low to guard against pilfering and robbery (there are many 7/11 hold-ups).
I concede that sari-sari stores and very small neighborhood stores may not have change but that's the same everywhere in the world. All other stores within shopping precincts MUST have change.

Just buy drink or mints. My favorite is getting a Mac meal at ORD and pay with a hundred. I will be golden for a while.

Second, you will need to pay for all expenses including drinks and food. Most likely you will have to pay a daily rate so the girl does not lose out on income to pay her monthly bills and feed her family. They are there to feed their family that is why they do this. Don't think because you have a big one or you are so handsome and so charming that they will want to spend days with you for free. Even if they did they still have to feed their family. You will have to talk to her for the daily rate. YMMV.
Make sure the girl has a valid ID for the plane before you book. You can check each airlines web site for what is a valid ID.
I arrive at my hotel, Regency Grand Suites, and my PL girl was already there waiting for me. Cute, but somehow she seemed prettier in the photos. In fact they all do I guess. From photos I'd give a 7, and in real life I guess is give just below that.
The hotel: it seems that there's a whole bunch of hotels in this building, Birch Tower Condominium, with each hotel laying claim to a number of floors. My room was on 32nd floor. Bit small for a condo suite, but for a 1 night rental it was sufficient. It looks like there is supposed to be individual access points for each room. Unfortunately I couldn't see the access point which corresponded to my room so I just logged onto the access point from one of the other rooms around me. Signal was good enough so no complaints here. There's a balcony off from the bedroom, bedroom was big enough for king bed, lounge area bit small with a little kitchenette to the side, bathroom was OK with a shower big enough for 2 . Overall it was decent and clean. The only cons were no hot water, only lukewarm, and no chairs on the balcony, I like to sit on the balconies to smoke.
I've stayed in this one. Quite a dump in my opinion. The only good thing is a huge mall right next to it (I think Robinson's). Overall, AirBNB offer much better quality for the same price.

This is how I do it
Anyone have any input on the girls on Backpage? I've had success via the Backpage but mainly in the USA. I have a short overnight stay in MNL and would like to try something new. Been there a few times and have done the Burgos scene, EDSA, LA cafe, massage parlors. Looks like the girls are definitely hot and their prices reflect that. Just looking for feedback / recommendations whether these girls are legit.
I would never bother with Backpage or Craigslist in Manila. Most offers there are either overpriced or scams. I tried some girls from Craigslist in the past during my first trip years ago with some success until I found much easier and cost effective ways to get laid.
I also consider going to bars for pussy hunting a major waste of time. In my experience of traveling to Manila every few months in the last 2 years, there is nothing easier than finding girls in that city where the supply way outstrips the demand. All you need is a smartphone with WeChat, Tinder or Badoo. Take your pick because there no way you'll be able to handle all 3 of them. If she isn't freebie (for whom I always have some small gifts instead of cold cash) the price is 2000 for short time and 3000 overnight. I could possibly give an extra 500 for exceptional experience but never beyond that.
That's all you need to know. Enjoy the paradise!

Being in a good mood today i will hereby give you a headstart on Boracay. For Boracay, if you want to bring a girl, you have to bring a p4 p or jobless girl (often blurred lines). Girls with jobs have hard time getting time off, at least they need planning maybe weeks upfront to be able to coordinate things with the boss. No, I am not speaking of being a hooker as a job in this regard but accountants, teachers, cashiers, fill in other occupations, if you like, and hopefully you get my drift.
Regarding payment for the most likely segment of girls to join you (p4 p or jobless girls) on a short notice holiday; How are you expecting a girl to pay her rent, bills, familysupport, cosmetics, fill in whatever you like as extras in a girls life here, with a planeticket and a hotelroom in Boracay? In most cases these girls are poor and only friendly towards you bcs they expect you to pay them. If they could pawn the ticket or the hotelroom, then its another story. Bottomline, they need cash. Don't be cheap and have a blast Sir (2 k a day is fair according to my book doing my shuffles in Boracay, no matter what segment of girls I bring).
Having my last paragraph in mind, most girls would love to go Boracay. Many have even been there multiple times allready on what they claim to be a "pamily holiday" or "with friends". The pamily holiday being a lie ofcourse(get used to lies). They been there with other punters.

There are a lot of women who would never think of posting their own advert yet who lurk. Some of my most interesting hook ups I've gotten came from CL.

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to make sure of that. And thanks for your reply.

I was coming to the bar because of her and I though I would invite her to come with me to Boracay. But from what you've said it's going to be difficult to do that. I'm going to try nevertheless hopefully she will come.
As of the payment, I was mostly talking about a normal girl not a WG, that's why I asked if she might come if I pay everything "plane tickets, food, room" would she say yes? But now I think I have a general info about what to do thanks to you. About lies, yeah I'm used to that having pinay ladies in Dubai, I know their games and lies, so I don't care if they have been there or not. And 2 k feels fair enough. Thanks man for being in a good mood and for your reply. Have a nice day / evening.
