Thanks.[/QUOTE]Georgest, every SP hotel I have stayed at in SP is girl friendly, so no problem on that score. But I am assuming by your question, that you are a Marriott Bonvoy member looking for an upscale Marriott property in a good neighborhood relatively close to some nighttime action. If this is the case, then the JW should be last on your list. The JW location is just too far south. Fuck, it is past the Grand Hyatt and the Hyatt is a 40-minute ride to Scandallo at 9 pm. P.S. I like the Hyatt. I am a Hyatt member too. I am booked there on points once again on my upcoming trip.

But a decent nearby Marriott alternative is the Sheraton Hotel, which is in a better, more people-oriented casual neighborhood (ie more local bars and nearby restaurant cafes) plus the Sheraton is a lot cheaper than either the JW or the Renaissance. Don't get me wrong, I like the Renaissance. In fact, I am booked to stay there again too in October on the last of my Marriott points. 555. There are a lot of fine restaurants within walking distance of the Renaissance, and it is only a 20-minute Uber ride to Scandallo at 9 pm. Casarao is even closer. So, if you have the points or you have plenty of loose money in your pocket stay at the Renaissance. I am sure you will like it.

One last Bonvoy hotel you might consider is the 4. 5-star Marriott Executive Apartments Hotel. You can't use points at this hotel, but I booked a 1-bedroom apartment there for $95/ night for a week. No, it ain't Renaissance 5-star quality, but it is clean, and the rooms have balconies which are great for entertaining my sexy, little marijuanitas, and it is only 2 blocks from Bomboa, my 2nd favorite boate in SP.

Outside of the World of Marriott I like the Intercontinental (nearby the Renaissance and cheaper), the Hilton (across the street from the Sheraton). The Hilton has the best room service food in SP which is good to know on the nights you have company over. Also, the Sheraton and the Hilton are right across the street from the Gauguin Club which is sometimes well worth checking.

It is all up to you. I just can't believe SP 5-star hotel price inflation over the last 6 months. Room rates have gone up faster than the asking price of Scandallo tier one girls, and if I had to choose one or the other, I would always choose the girls.

If you are looking for Marriott hotels for hobbying, the Renaissance is by far the best mix of location / convenience, luxury and pricing.

It is centrally located to Moema for clinicas, higher end boates like Scandallo, Cafe Photo and Bamboa and fine dining restaurants. It is not super high end for a "5 star" hotel, but it is decent. The lounge spacious and their breakfast and happy hour spread is decent and their spa is top notch.

Their customer service is also friendly, helpful and discreet. They do have a few working girls at the lobby bar, but the ones I've seen did not interest me (more like 5's and 6's) so never inquired about pricing. But then again, I usually leave the hotel by 5 or 6 pm for drinks or dinner before painting the town and don't return until after 1 am at the earliest so probably never saw the best talent.

I stayed at the recently opened JW Marriott in July and found the place to be quite new and lovely, but still experiencing some growing pains as a new hotel (they took over the old Four Seasons). The breakfast spread is quite small at the restaurant, but the lounge is quite nice and well stocked (alcohol and red bull 24/7). The service was hit or miss. I don't mind the location too much as it isn't too far to Moema for clinicas or other boates in the heart of SP. Even when I go to Scandallo, it isn't too bad as I usually go to dinner in the Jardins or Itaim Bibi area before going to the boates.

With all that said, I would still prefer the Renaissance over the JW, unless you are working near the WTC or business area there. I also prefer the Grand Hyatt to the JW if you need to be in that area.

If you want a true 5 star hotel, you will have to go to Tivoli, Fasano, Emiliano, Hotel Unique or Rosewood. All of those are centrally located for hobbying and foodie purposes. I've stayed at all of those and my preference is either Fasano, Tivoli or Rosewood. You can also find some working girls at the Tivoli, both at their lobby bar and rooftop bar (Seen).

For true elegance, Palácio Tangará is probably the top hotel in Sao Paulo, but is pretty far away. More so than the JW Marriott. However, many of the guests there just take helicopters to other parts of the city.

Saw the live sex show that started around 4 AM, lasted about 15 minutes. Started with oral, condom on, doggie, reverse cowgirl, upside down doggie with legs in the air supported by hands on the floor, standing doggie, oral again. I don't know if this is a regular show. It could be just for today.

On weekends there are working girls but I never talked to them since I always had a companion. At little off topic but since we're the bunch to maximize our money in this good USD=BRL wanted to ask if anyone knows about getting any medical procedures in SP.

They seem to have good hospitals and doctors in SP and I'm looking into getting my Balloon sinuplasty done there in September instead of in the States to save some $.

I know Mexico and Colombia have good set ups for americans to do all kinds of procedures for fractions of what would be charged in the states. Brazil tho I have not heard much of or at least haven't or can't since my porto is limited.

LOL. I was really going to the bathroom and wasn't trying to ditch her. I got away eventually because I did not touch her, this is after she put her hand in my pants, and showing me all her assets. She went from 1000 BRL to 500 BRL. The mistake I had probably was too friendly and bought her drinks and she took advantage of that. I now still buy beer occasionally (no cocktail which double the beer price, beer is about 40) to girls that are friendly, but I told them right away that I know she is working, and she does not have to stay.

She wasn't bad looking, but I was looking for a new BMW, not a used one. LOL.

I would say as a rule of thumb, the ones that approaches you or are regulars to the club can be had for much lower price.

[/QUOTE]The private doctor without insurance is not cheap in my experience. I saw a doctor on the same day appointment for 500 BRL. The other private chain clinics I tried was like 350 BRL for booking but it's not the same day.

I remember going in September 2020 and no girls really did this. Some would come up and ask if I needed help since I was really new to Brazil and boates in general. I could have sworn it was a rule somewhere that girls couldn't bother a guy by straight up talking and sitting down, they had to be approach first. I remember because the first few girls I had in scadallo were super excited to have me wave them over after they walked around the entire place 5 time over and I recalled one girl was doing everything in front of me to have me tell her to take a seat next to me LOL.

We session at 4 am and we finished at 5 am when it closed. They made us pay our tabs and gave us a purple paper bracelet like the ones at festivals so when we got out the bouncers knew we paid our tabs and were allowed to leave without any issues.

I concur that the girls who approach you first and try to get you into a room fast are the worst. They see you as an easy target and watch the clock. The best girls are the one's who don't make moves in my experience.

Assuming she is your type does the GP get rejected just for approaching you? (is the GP, SOL just for desiring to be with you and has to approach you)

They'd throw out a number and stick to it. Then once you're in, start the countdown and only one shot and then she's off to the next guy downstairs.

I've had some good connections with clinica / terma girls who would just want to hang out and show me around the city or have a cheap dinner and go back to my place to have some fun at no charge.

The worst one's in my personal experience would be the girls who speak decent english and try to get you to go with them because they think it's better for you since the language barrier isn't a issue.

They charge a higher fee and the feeling wasnt natural or alluring in my case.

I found centaurus in rio to be the worst offender where I was constantly approached by 2 girls at the same time and they would offer me a "deal" to go with both of them at whatever price within 3 minutes of me sitting down.

Happened every single time I went.

If a GP is interested it's pretty obvious and they put effort to make you comfortable and will ask a low price or go down on their price.

I had a carioca pause her vacation and fly back to see me for one day just so we could get some lunch and fuck and then flew back out the next day.

Funny enough I had only met her once back in September 2020 so guess I made a really good impression on her, she was also a centaurus girl so go figure.

We still stay in contact and she's always helping me out navigate rio and even gave me some advice on another GP.

So when a GP likes you she really lets you know.

I figured since there are tons of hospitals that it would be fairly reasonable to find a good one that can do the sinusitis surgery for a few thousand BRL.

Which is a fair rate since the same rate in the US is 5-7 K USD.

Again sorry to stray a bit off topic but I figured some one on the board had experience doing some medical stuff in Brazil since I think one of the top 3 reasons people travel is for cheap medical work to be done.

I just would not automatically dismiss a GP for thier perceived aggressiveness (and hope BMs don't dismiss them out of hand) YMMV. There are many reasons for so call agressiveness (most of which is true there are sharks in the water seeking thier next target / victim). I also wouldn't put down a GP who speaks english. The GP may think speaking english will "[B]make you comfortable[/B]" how many BMs complain (or are hesitant or are frustrated) that they don't understand portuguese and communicating via translator app is not the best experience to communicate. Yet we are on the defensive with a English speaking GP. If they speak english maybe the GP educated and/or have a regular job and they come to Scandallo as a GPSJ. They approach a BM sometimes because they are attracted to them.

Get the joke. ESL (English as a Second Language) vs GPSJ (Garota de Programa as a Second Job) LOL!

Also a Newbe could be agressive due to the competition and they trying to make money but they still want to be with you. Once they get the lay of the land and understand how things work they may be tone down thier agressiveness but non the less if you look like Chris Hemsworth / Brad Pit what is a GP to do? LOL.
