My last (and 1st) time at NG I stayed in one of the bottom rooms facing the pool.

What's the best room to stay in? (jacuzzi included)

Also can you request a specific room on booking?

I can see one of the Yankee's getting taking to the cleaners.

But I didn't know. For one I didn't know about this forum where I could rtff and plus I was fresh and green on the traveling scene especially to south America. I relied on an old timer which I thought he knew the do's and don'ts which turned out to be my down fall. He told me to get my visa and head with him and his boys to brazil and he would show me the ropes. He said to bring a suit because he wanted to ball out of control on the day of his birthday. I was so exited, LOL. I went and got my visa, got my shyt together and was ready to go. Now before I continue my story this is what I originally thought. I figured by going with him I would have the inside scoop and that the finances would be pretty low and that he would probably have some chicas already lined up because of this years he has been going to Rio. So I was going to leach off their friends or sisters with my charm and just have a blast. I was wrong.

We met up at the club help (when it was still opened) on his birthday as planed with our player suits, pop'and champagne in the V. I. P section (that the club had to fix for our crew, which should have been a sign to me that I would lookn like an ass) stuntn and having a good old time. At this time I started to feel kinda weird. Why are we here doing this, for what? I kinda look back now and remember the true vets. They were kinda standing around almost in the shadows not standing out at all. They were probably thinking you dumb shyts. I realized that the guy I was with that trip, was one of the biggest tricks of Rio and these chicas love to see him steppn off the plane because they knew there bills were going to get paid for the next couple of months. That next day I distance myself from his crew and kinda did my own thing. I told him "you guys are big timers I can't hang with you guys yall major playas" but what I really wanted to say is "You ignorant bafoons, jacking up and inflating the cost, ruining it for everybody, what the hell is wrong with you! You might as well wear an ATM sign on your damn fore head!"

After that I never went back to Rio with him I always did my own thing. But as you said it is true. I saw as Rio went down the tubes and hated that I missed the glory days. Sosua is going the same route. But what I really hate is I was one of these clowns that contributed to the silliness of trying to ball out in a country where your green is the only pull regardless of who you are. I used my blue passport status to it's full advantage but never again I did some dumb shyt like that. I'm not going to lie this old dude had some stunnas by his side but trust me he was paying out of his ass for it when I was pulling 10's with a wink and a smile.

This is the newest part of the hotel. I've not been in NG for quite some time but back then they were asking for more money per room.

Getting a room on the lower floor, facing the pool, can be quite noisy sometimes. Try to get something on a top floor.

Throwing money around and acting like a bigshot makes you a target. Best policy is to keep a low profile and don't let anyone think you have money to spare (including the chicas who all have unsavory acquaintances).

I was lucky, I started in Rio during a great period and the old heads down there encouraged us to keep the pussy spending to a minimum. Before the Ja Rule and Snoop videos, before the ballers. There were a few idiots here and there but not to enough to spoil the game. I was told no more that $60 and only if I felt I really had to have her. Then the ballers came and drove up the prices. Add a weak dollar and the game was over for me. Going from banging 2-3 girls a day, including an all nighter from Help, for $100-$150 to being expected to pay more than that for one girl for an HOUR in span of a year was crazy. Headed to Sosua. First trip, the exchange rate was 55 to 1 and girls were going for 500-1000 pesos. Do the math. $18 for TLN. Probably the hottest chick in town wanted 3000 from my boy and he stood his ground she went home alone. The next day she approached him with a price more to his liking. Now dudes are competing to see who can pay a chick more money. To quote one idiot from Texas," I break the bank for these bitches." Dude was actually proud of the fact that he paid over market.

E Asia, and my expense account paid for part of it. The rest by business associates in that part of the world, where it is customary to treat for business. You are right. They are well within their right to roll however they see fit. It is their money and their vacation. Some guys, myself included, get annoyed when guys such as these disrupt the market and ruin it for most of us. That said, we aren't entitled to cheap pussy and dude definitely didn't deserve to be set up. It is a lesson learned, the reality is under no obligation to live up to the fantasy. Your hooker is not a your girlfriend and will probably still bang other dudes no matter how much money you send her. Your girlfriend half your age and weight probably is in it for the money. And pretending to be rich in a poor country will likely attract unscrupulous people looking to separate you and your money. As someone said earlier, do whatever you want as long as you know what you are doing. It may be vacation but it ain't Disney Land, you dealing with real people. Be careful.
